Ringkasan
Two hundred years ago was the domain war between humans and elves. The result: a third of the human world seized by the elven power.
Ruith is a gentle and sensitive elven prince, too passive to succeed his father, the king of Ophinem’s Meadow Province, now that his elder brother has passed away unexpectedly.
Simon is a dutiful and heroic human soldier, willing to sacrifice anything to provide for his family in the slums. However, he is dying from a disease even the military’s advanced technology cannot cure. Time for him is running out. When the two encounter by chance in the human world, an instant and adoring friendship blooms.
Too consumed with each other, their demanding responsibilities are forgotten until the antagonism their races hold against each other catches fire. Together the pair faces severe consequences for their forbidden bond that they desperately attempt to overcome in order to escape another war that could eradicate everything they love and pry them away from each other.
A character-driven story about opposing worlds, forbidden bonds, royalty, politics, magic, religion, and philia love. {Warnings: contains angst, betrayal, violence, revenge, and mentions/depictions of suicide & self harm.}
*Note*: In this story, elves are reinvented according to my imagination and how their design will nourish the plot. They do not follow the rules traditional to their design.
[ This story centers affectionate friendships between men. ]

Tulis ulasanThis book is as an undebatable 5/5. the wording is excellent, and you're easily able to flow with the story, I honestly don't know why this book doesn't have more views and collections, this is basically a work of art. Please keep on going author❤️
I've been reading this silently till now. It's very heart warming story and I really like this type of story where it shown more of the familial bond between the main casts. I kind of like Taegen and Ruith dynamic but also Simon seem like a fluff boy. I wish the human world would make everlasting peace with other races so they could co-exist together.As for the writing is really fine. I could understand the story and following the flow smoothly. Maybe I would like more journey and adventure vibes for the main character as he explore the world beyond the kingdom.
I would best describe this story by its 'flow' because every word/phrase is used artistically and sometimes somewhat poetically and in such an effortless way that the narration 'flows' out of my phone screen, and into reality. Hence, painting a vivid image(world) for me to explore. I recommend this to anyone and everyone, for its beautiful and bewitching characters and author-san's talented storytelling.
This is my first time reading a different genre of this kind and I would say l love it. I love the flow between Simon and Ruith. I'm really enjoying it. Keep up the good work author.

If there's one word that defines this book, for me it will be "flawless". Both the narration and dialogue makes the flow of the reading to be very smooth and makes the action of the characters as well as the setting clear appear in my mind. I also appreciate that the author is taking time to develop the relationship between the two main characters. The interaction between the two of them and how they develop fondness to each other is another aspect that I enjoy while reading the story. I'm waiting for more development for the characters and the story itself. Keep working on the book author. Your book is really amazing along with your skills in writing.
