Synopsis

Who said that the death of a person is akin to the extinguishing of a lamp; that all previous karmic ties would be severed.

Raizel, the pinnacle cultivator of Terra made an oath to his dying junior martial brother to complete his To-do list. What was the big deal? It is definitely not as difficult as fighting the Devil King.

That is till he saw the list. Plant a fire lotus flower in the Shuya Ice peak, Skinny dip in the Neva river, Save a beautiful poisoned female cultivator in the forest, win the most loved teacher in the school. How could he have forgotten the psycho that is his junior martial brother, Lucas?

His journey to complete the To-do list takes him to various places and throws him into unique situations. He meets different characters and he discovers a hidden love so deep that it is almost painful.

"I knew from the moment that I set my eyes on you that you were mine. Even if I have to fight Heavens to get you, even if I am sentenced to the 66 Hells; I would never regret loving you."

This book is a slow burn romance. Would it be worth it in the end? Yes, I promise there would be enough smexy scenes for a massive nosebleed. Hope you enjoy!!

I have actually seen your work in the pilot read for WSA and read few parts of your story. I really love how you wrote all the things with such precisions and showed the parts that needed to be described. Kudos for the author, and I cannot wait to read more of your work~

This is certainly an intriguing beginning to the story. At the moment there are only four chapters (one chapter appears to have been posted twice) and their are numerous characters being introduced, but I am very much looking forward to seeing how these various narrative threads all tie together. The chapters are all well-written and very enjoyable to read. I particularly liked the prologue as it threw the reader right into the thick of the action and provided a hook for the story that follows. The author has created a terrific fictional world with numerous fantastical elements and powers and so far he has done a great job developing the cast of characters. I'm not sure who the protagonist will be just yet, but I would be happy to follow an adventure with any one of the cast so far introduced. So far so good. I hope this story does well in the contest.

(This review might be a little bit long but it’s my first so I apologize in advance) The writing is SO good! All the characters have a certain depth to them. They're fun and the author also shows the reader the thoughts behind their actions in such a clear and understandable way (without taking away the suspense and thrill or making it boring). In regards to world building, there is a good fusion between the tradicional cultivation world and the modrn world. Throughout the story you can see and experience the changes and fusion of both worlds through the characters memories and esxperiences. There is fluff, sweet moments, and also hardships that will lead the characters closer together. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!!👏🏻

Writing quality and stability were given 4 stars, but everything else a 5. I took a star from quality because, yes, there are sometimes grammar mistakes or a chapter where the layout is confusing. But I would definitely still be reading this despite that because the mistakes are hardly affecting the reading experience as a whole. I took a star from stability because this story does not have a set release rate, but because I’ve only been reading it for a week, I can properly judge how the release rate is from week to week. The world background is very well though-out and displayed in a simple but intricate way that makes it easy but still enjoyable to read. Would definitely reccomend trying this novel out, the characters are lovely written and each have their own depth to them. Thank you, author, for all your hard work that you gave to make this novel. Please don’t abandon it, it’s really good!

For starters, great writing. What I love most was that I could easily portray every movement, every emotion, every action taken by everyone so vividly that it was literally out of this world. Second, the flow of the story was great, engaging, and easy to understand. Third, conversations were well written and for the most part, everything felt very mysterious and that's a really good sign. The only problem was that the chapters were too few. Would recommend to upload more chapters. All and all though the work has great potential. Well done Author! Waiting for more chapters.

Hi, so sorry about the late review, something came up and I couldn't get access to the internet. Let me begin by saying that I read so many cultivation type novels that now when I see when and it doesn't seem particularly interesting I dip and run, but your concept is really intriguing. I love it! The idea of him having to complete this ridiculous list seriously is just hilarious. And his character is soooo great. I love the his inner monologues and how sarcastic he sounds and really the way he reacts to the modern world. Just gold. In terms of writing, it reads smoothly and easily and no glaring grammatical errors. However, there is a lot of information being told to you and not shown. This is more a personal opinion, because I find it hard to concentrate on the story when there's info dumping and a lot of the time I would end up skimming over to get to the good parts. Just wanted to point it out. I didn't want to give a run of the mill review and give false praise without any feedback, so sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Anyway good work, Fighting!

A story about a hero waking up from his long slumber and going out to the modern world? I already know this is going to be fun. The writing style uses vivid imagery that matches well with pace, may it be the action scenes or the funny scenes. It threw me off when the POV changes from 3rd person to 1st and vice versa but I can live with it. Overall, this story is enjoyable and the characters have solid personalities. Good job, author! Keep up the good work.

Author hooked me on the cover and also on the synopsis, the title itself is already intriguing for the fact it's "To-do List" and as a fan of writing my to do list, this is such a great idea and great concept. A To-do list that is not easy to be achieved. And oh, I didn't see any error from reading this! Give this a read!

This is pretty well written. While I don't read in this type of genre, I can still appreciate the level of skill in display here. The Author certainly has a way with words, and the flowery prose is really what sells it for me.

Very well-written! I quite like your prose, and how nicely emphasized the nuances of the characters. Your descriptions also helped create such a vivid scene, but there were a few comma splices/run-on sentences, so I suggest proofreading for grammar. As for the prologue, I had a bit of trouble following what was going on because of the lack of context. There were hints here and there, but I was still left a bit confused. All in all, it's a good read. Keep up the good work!

Okay new readers, please give this novel a chance 🙏. The author will surely surprise you in many ways. Okay, review proper, this novel has good execution of the concept and the dialogues were also good. Very lifelike and realistic for me. Not everyone can pull it off so easily. It was like butter being sliced by a knife. Characters were fleshed out and so far, so good! Kudos and good luck! It was an amazing experience for my part and wished for other readers to share my experience too! haha 😂 Gracias!

I really love this novel! the characters are interesting and the world is built really well. I'm just a tiny bit annoyed by the language mistakes.... They're perfectly understandable (esp if English is not your first language or you're using a speech to text or handwriting scanning app) but it kinda takes the focus off the story. Author san, if you're reading this, do you need a free editor (working hrs and productivity would be variable tho)? I don't have relevant experience but I really want to read the story (and maybe help others too) a bit more easily.

The story is great. The characters are super interesting, it reels you in to find out more and go on this amazing journey with them but I have to give it 2 stars on the story development. It keeps building up with these details, and backstories that it’s so easy to get lost and become confused. I was loving it but at a point I had to stop reading because it felt like there were too many things happening and too many characters being introduced from the past and present. In summary, it’s a good story but it’s pretty easy to get lost in the details since they’re not well layed out

The most attractive thing about this book is its plot. The plot is very different... something I have never read before. The synopsis is well written. No grammatical errors so far. Those who loves adventure, I think they will love how the story unfolds as Raizel complete the to-do-list for his junior brother. Looking forward to read more [img=update][img=update][img=update]

I loved the explanation of his Daos and techniques as well the cultivation system. The English is really good and I had a great Time moving along this journey[img=recommend] Thumbs up author
