While Emma was thinking to herself, she hadn't known how James had processed this valuable piece of information.

Sure, he had mentioned he was leaving for some fresh air, but Emma had no clue about what truly happened while he 'got some fresh air'. 

He had gone to the palace gardens, which wasn't a far distance away from the infirmary.

She hadn't seen how he had taken a few seconds to process the whole 'his girlfriend was pregnant' situation before he smiled. 

No, he wasn't crazy. It was one thing Emma hadn't known before. 

Unbeknownst to her, he too had always wanted a family.

Sure, the timing was horrible, this happening after they just got together and all, but it was something that'd bond the two for life.

Of course, he still had no idea how he'd tell his parents, much less his siblings and his friends, case in point Carina, Connor and Lily.
