Emma smiled, before she asked, "So, who are we informing first?"

James winced.

"Suggestion, we tell Lily first but we make sure there's security nearby," he suggested. 

Emma burst out laughing. 

"In all fairness, I doubt she'd do anything to stress me out after she hears the news, or if she sees you on sight," Emma reasoned, occasionally giggling.

James smiled at the sight of seeing Emma happy again.

From her crying state, this was a major improvement.

Now that she was as most put it in the royal household, 'with child', she became more a priority than she was before. 

The child she was carrying was a Carrington baby. The royal heir to the throne.

He was to replace Carina's spot in the line of succession once he/she was born, not that she'd mind.
