Synopsis
Nicole d'Armand never expected to walk into her apartment and find her fiancé *bleep*-deep in another woman's lady bits. What's a girl to do?
Well, after obliterating an 18th-century Meissen vase, delivering a punch that would make a heavyweight boxer proud, and embarking on a night of raucous drinking, Nicole figures she might as well embrace the chaos.
But when alcohol and pheromones collide, her wild night spins into something unexpected... Like a ride on the Logan Everett express.
Which, naturally, leads to a whirlwind of its own: She's his fated mate. Because of course she is.
And he rejects her. Because of course he does.
Now embroiled in a mystery bigger than her post-breakup hangover, Nicole finds herself the prime suspect in a murder she didn't commit—no matter how tempting the thought might have been. And the only person who believes her innocence? The same guy who shot down the idea of being her fated mate.
Great. Just what she needed: her love life is a crime scene, and the man stupid enough to let her go is holding her freedom in his hands.
DECEMBER 2024 NOTE-- Author has a broken hand and updates are slower than normal. Deepest apologies. Trying to get updates more normalized again!!

This is a fated/rejected mates urban fantasy romance.
Content warning for: Nudity, more nudity, swear words, inappropriate humor, dead people, undead people, incomprehensible amounts of magic, werewolves and all the fetishes that come with them, did I mention the nudity?, and a questionable level of sanity at times.

Write a reviewAuthor here to give myself a 5-star review. I needed to write something to take a break from the heavier themes in TIMU. This, so far, has been such a breath of fresh air. I miss comedy! I miss funny things. This is a rejected mates romance set in Earth, only with a bunch of hot-AF supernaturals wandering around leaving us mere mortal women to drool. Enjoy the story with me~
Here we go again, she made me read smut from a female perspective and I even enjoy it... What is wrong with me? I blame the author! Excellent as always, casually introducing the supernatural into an everyday urban environment, quirky humor, amazing writing style, what you'd expect from the author!
WHAT?!!! A new book from the Wonderful Lena!! I’m on this journey with you dearest author! I’m sure this will another big hit just like the previous book which, I really love reading❤️ This book will surely be another adventurous, emotional roller coaster ride and an enjoyable reading❤️ Congratulations Lena on your new book and success and May you have many more‼️
Coming across in Lena’s first book, “Tangled in Moonlight: Unshifted” has been an enjoyable and entertaining reading time for me. And…now, she has this second book is surely a “MUST READ”!! Humor, Romance, Drama, Slice of life, face-slapping and SMUT and more SMUT is my kind of book😁😍
Found this in my recommendations and really glad I gave it a go. Loving the female lead, enjoying the story so far and looking forward to what's next .😊❤️
I am really enjoying this book. Love the humorous aspect mixed in the "murder mystery " feel of the story. I am still waiting on more character development in the story.
The story is interesting. Good work on the grammar and so far it doesn't have incorrect spelling. Keep up the Good Work [img=recommend]
I'm totally hooked. I want to know the mystery hidden behind so many murders. And the encounters between the protagonists are fiery.
Reveal SpoilerI must say, the author had me at the summary. author is too darn funny 🤣. and reading past 2 chapters I already fall in love with the story. off to a very good start, can't wait for more.
Another great novel. It’s easy to feel the characters’ anger, fear, desire. Great writing that’s engaging , humorous, with some well written smut thrown in. Great job!

Finally, a book to overtake the current FL bestseller... Who wrote it? Ah, never mind. What did I even expect? The perfect balance between humor and smut should have been a dead giveaway.
