First of all I think the world building is quite interesting! The whole thing about adding old school details (like studying at an academy and having roommates), with new ones (like the whole technological advances), and the fact that there are dangers out there with the monsters and all... Is amazing! I like how you write because it's easy to keep up with the story. Also, I enjoyed how you represented the MC: apathic or maybe a little "lazy", perhaps with more mature traits! Just like he had lived, in fact, multiple lives! Well done!
