The following morning.

Kyle woke up early and chose a comfortable and suitable outfit for a laid-back stroll. Due to the tidbits of information he had gathered before, Kyle set his sights on exploring the city of Suroff this time. His intuition nudged him to believe that the anticipated “plan” might unfold within the confines of Suroff itself. So, since he could not just possibly go outside Suroff in broad daylight without permission, his only option was to explore Suroff first.

Observing Joshua, who was still deep in sleep, Kyle called out, "Josh! I’m going out!" And the only response he received was a groggy mumble.
