I think the biggest thing is that Damon is acting like a normal prodigy that would turn up in the capital(?)/imperial city. Over there they could have a whole class full of kids on a similar (only for now) level to what Damon is showing, whereas out in Bo city, a rural or less populated city he is one in a generation talent If that doesn't make sense then its like this. one in a million people have the same talent Damon is displaying. In Bo city he is the one person that good. In the imperial city where there is 50 million people, there can be a whole class of kids with the "same" talent and some even better

Maybe (as Fenrir is a wolf/monster) the mark will be a different version of the demon element Mo Fan has wherein the MC have a new form

I’m saying it right now if he does pick space, psyic or healing his an idiot. One of the four is differently a normal element (think fire- though I’m hoping for lighting). I think it’s going to be a normal element as it will be a good cover, in saying that showing one good/rare element will help him get better materials from the school
