I think they did something during that late manga arc cause I kept seeing something about their captain but I'm not sure what it is. It's only their captain though. Probably was just the one that saved Ichigo or held off some bad guy until a stronger captain arrived.

Awesomw stuff. Wont say its award winning or doesnt need revision, but the creativity, ideas and solid writing of the story are a VERY good fandiction to read.
light is boring, and this universe lacks "holy" or "white magic", as it instead focuses on normal magic, and magoc that has consequences or sacrifices from the user AKA dark magic.
As for the dark arts, the canon Tom was a prodigy when it came to dark magic. He didn't want to waste his potential, so he decided to fully commit to the dark arts. Although many precautions had to be made before he could fully dive into the cesspool that is dark magic. As his dark arts teacher says, 'when using dark magic one must know their limits and cleanse themselves regularly'. He says this because using dark magic is like poison to the body and mind. It can turn the most kindhearted person into a ruthless murderer if not used properly.
