This story is about a beautiful and charming girl; Aleina Kallis who is fun, smart, bold, studious and very determined in making a name for herself. She belonged to a rich family that was famous for running a well-known Real estate company - The Kallis Estate. Everybody envied Aleina for having it all; ethereal beauty, loving parents and perfect siblings but what you see is not always true.
Her father was very abusive, always venting out his frustration on Aleina for reason; nobody could even fathom. Her elder brother was the adored son of the family. Her elder sister was always jealous of Aleina for her beauty and intelligence which is why she kept degrading her in front of their parents.
Distressed and filled with bruises hidden underneath her clothes, the 16 year old Aleina decided to accept the invitation of her cousin to go with her to her husband's company celebration.
Aleina didn't know that by going to that celebration party her fate would be sealed. The Underworld King of Country D, Alex Rodriguez, famous for being the devil incarnate himself and being devilishly handsome, was mesmerized by Aleina's beauty and decided then and there to hunt his prey slowly by breaking her down completely and making her surrender to him.
Aleina's life turned for the worse after the party and she felt like her beauty was curse. She soon realized, in a painstaking way - What It Cost for Bewitching Him.

This story is completely different from the ones before. I was so surprised and amused and hope it gets a good comic adaptation. This isn't one of those where the ml does horrible stuff to her and just comes back and we're supposed to be okay with it. She is literally escaping for her life. I want to know more and just how much of a monster the ml is considering she does not want him to even catch a glimpse of her. Her backstory is also really amazing and adds a lot of substance to her character. Overall the story is great and I want more of it.
This is the first book which got my curiosity from the brief intro of the story the moment i read it...and after reading the first chapter it blows my mind away.....and I felt in love with this book instantly hehee....and of course not forgetting our dear Author for it's wonderful and amazing writing...it was so amazing i just love this book because this book is soooooo......amazing 😍😍😍😍😍 Please check this book......you will love it
This story is super captivating 🤩😍 After such a long time i found a novel where the girl is not just waiting like a dumbo to get caught. 😂 Can't wait to read more chapters. Easy and fun read. Worth a good look imo. By the way that guy's acting, you could've called the story 'Daring escapes from the devil' and it would've fit perfectly too lmao. (don't actually change anything tho this story is lovely so far.) Thanks for the good read!
I’m going to agree with everyone who’s posted that it’s captivating because it really is. Right from the beginning it draws you in and keeps you wanting to know more about the story and what will happen next. I have yet to finish the book but from what I’ve read so far it’s a must read. Starting this novel with a goose chase was a rather interesting take. It was refreshing to read. Although, it was a scene set in the future, so it somehow made me lean towards that occurrence rather than being mystified. It's like I know what's going to happen already so the suspense was cut off. However, it was still a good narration! Aleina's parents are such aholes, that I just want to be a character in this story and slap them repeatedly, Sabrina too. No wonder that the future Aleina can fend for herself against Alex, because she grew up with such psychopaths that she had to cultivate the strength in her heart and mind. I'm vouching for Aleina x Aiden (please don't kill me) I love that Aleina still has such adorable innocence despite the ordeal she's suffering from her parents' unreasonable favouritism. I do have qualms in some incorrect verb tenses in your passages, but they're easily corrected so no worries. Watch out for run-ons and comma splices resulting from absence/misuse of punctuation marks. Overall, the pacing was quite the average, not hasty or slow, just the right one. I love that you're not skimping on your descriptions. For me, it's better to read wordy scenic descriptions rather than some simple adjectives. Please be confident in your writing skills!
