Not recommended , unless you're very bored. Seems like a summary of events, bloated a bit (Like other chinese novels), add some more things, and sewed together. At least the author researched things, some obscure things. Though as is with this genre, plagiarism is to be expected. Lots of it. And face-slapping is normal in this story; MC does/offer something, others reject him, MC does another thing, and others be like 'Damn, shouldn't provoke/reject him'. And dialogue is rare. As for harem... Well, its like a casual fling; no serious relationship yet. And don't expect detailed romance scenes. Chinese novel don't have it. Oh, and translation quality. They're readable. And based on other reviews, translator is doing some editing. Though will not be the same quality if the original is english. Some wordings are weird, it's more likely because the original version is like that. Like, lost in translation, but make sense in the original language kind of thing

at the time of chapter 323. the translation and quality are great, but the content... since the translator cuts, merges, combines chapters, sometimes it is not clear what is happening at all, sometimes after reading a chapter you understand that you do not understand anything... in general, there is little about cinema and more about business, politics, and Mac's "weak waist")))
I wanted to recommend to the translator that they translate I Am Hollywood, as, for me, it is the best webnovel with a Hollywood theme for a simple reason: it has almost none of the cheap Chinese nationalism that makes novels centered around Hollywood boring. However, I don't think it’s the best idea, as the author left it unfinished with a very rushed ending. Therefore, if the translator decides to translate it, my recommendation would be for them to continue it on their own when they reach the end. Otherwise, they would feel the same disappointment I felt when I reached the end of I Am Hollywood many years ago.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This Novel is NOT a Wish-Fulfillment novel. It is more like a BIASED Opinion on American history. Character design: He has a super complex character, and you can't properly define it. Sometimes like a rabid dog and sometimes like a peaceful owner and other times like an opportunistic man (Tries to be one but is unsuccessful). I simply don't like his character. Mind my words, I don't like it but it is written well and proper. World background: It is very very chaotic ... Story development: To be honest it doesn't feel like much. The whole story is more of an opinion of the author than what the mc does with his knowledge. Writing: It is well translated, and it won't feel Chinese. Hats off to the translator. Overall: Wonderfully translated novel with a half mad and half scared main character, and most of the story is just author's opinion on the history of financial world.
This story is utter rubbish, there's no clear storyline. if you are bored and read this you will be bored even more There is no harem whatsoever That whole face slapping setup seems totally ludicrous & all of Mcs villains act like brain dead Even in 90s when he is well established and rich there are governments giving him trouble or some consortium causing trouble like everyone is after him which is just ridiculous they make it seem whole American govt. is dumb no one is that foolish to offend him that simply yet here we know that it lacks complete logic. Mc doesn't even form his own connection like with politics/capitalist he goes solo acting like stupid arrogant fool Mc says he just wants to enjoy life with beauties while making money but his actions speaks otherwise if he correctly managed just one or 2 companies it could last generations, but he goes for all companies then complains everyone gives me trouble just a braindead mc story is not worth it it's just unnecessarily bloated shit...
I mean how can you give 5 stars, it's soo boaring i mean this Fanfiction its say Harem read up to 100 chap.... Still no lover etc... you know Mr author the story is not that bead but its boaring like add som romance or something in the middle for example he is in Hollywood an make him have 2 or 3 lovers. You make him care only his business an how he can make mone you know what i mean. This is good novel but boaring, atlist give him saxy secretary not old man hahahahaha
