摘要
In a world consumed by hatred and fear where those who excel from the rest are hunted down instead of praised and celebrated, a boy wanders the slums of Dein, where hope is the first to fade.
He is different from the others, he is gifted. But instead of a blessing, this gift is nothing more than a curse that forces him into hiding from the Hunters, the organization created just to hunt him and his peers down.
But for the first time ever, he felt hopeful.
But can he trust this hope, or will it deceive him, leading him back to the depths of despair?

寫檢討Completely unbiased review. I'm definitely not writing this just to boost the rating of my good friend, Velstad's novel. Great novel, highly recommend it.
Everlasting Nightmare is an interesting read. You are introduced to interesting characters, allied or enemy. They don't feel empty or void of personality, and they fit well into the novel. The world we're thrown in so far is quite interesting, with its magic quite well designed. The way it's written is also quite masterful. The description are vivid and you feel as if you're on the scene. Some sentences really left me speechless, as they really grasped the scene and painted a clear picture, while keeping us immersed. Tension is well exploited, and leaves me wanting more, hopefully to get some of my questions answered. So far, I enjoy this novel :).
After about 40 chapters and the closure of a somewhat bigger event in the story, I decided to write a more serious review of the novel. First of all, the power system is interesting with all the unique gifts that the characters possess, especially the abilities of the MC that I'm most interested in, being all mysterious in some aspects, leaves some room for speculation and theory crafting. I like the world-building of the novel, it gives off a more gloomy, dark fantasy feeling, with the middle age setting and the persecution of the Gifted people. The characters and their interactions with each other so far are loveable, I like that, the author tries to show that not all hunters among their ranks are complete monsters or psychopaths. As for Talon, I like his type of character when it comes to an MC, being this street kid who is wronged by the world, running from his demons, but still refuses to give up and grabs every opportunity to be stronger just to spite everyone who hurt him and protect his friends. If I have to compare him to someone, I would say he has some similarities with Sunny from Shadow Slave. Overall a decent character. As for the writing quality, there are some typos here and there, but no major issues, and as I see it the author is working hard so that this story could be an enjoyable experience for the readers. In my opinion, I enjoy the story so far and I recommend giving it a try for those who are interested.
揭示劇透First of all the cover is dope, Along with the system of gifts.looking forward to new chapters
揭示劇透E.N. is a book written by Velstad, I find this book to be a masterpiece in everything it is trying to be. The character, the mean cliffhangers the worldy the plot. All of thess thing are what E.N. gets right. The story is about 2 kids living in the slums trying their best to survive. These 2 kids are Talon and Thorn. Now the rest is not gonna get spoiled if you like cliffhangers this book is for you 😉.

This is my first book. Is it a 5-star read? Maybe, maybe not. In my heart, it is, and I will do anything to make it the same in the hearts of my readers too. Let's treat this review as a Q&A session. I'll try to answer any questions you have.
