Talon began to hold the folded paper, slowly unfolding it, revealing a letter, written in black ink, the handwriting itself was hard to read, even more so for Talon, someone from the slums who only learned a bit of reading and writing from Paul.

His time with the hunters was just as bad as his time within the slums of Dein, but now that he was working amongst the defenders of Fort Eger, he truly felt like he had a purpose.

While this was the place where he was sent to die, by a sick twist of fate, this was the only place where he felt tortured.

But that did not mean that his time withing the hunters was not missed, well, there were parts of it that he missed more than anything.

His fellow team members of the Special Gifted Division, Paul, Damian, Roland, and John, were all people that he missed dearly, while Damian was the only one who was still alive, he couldn't help but think of the worst.
