Earth Land, Ishgar, Kingdom of Fiore, Akane Beach.
September, x784.
A day has passed since Ultear revealed that she had tickets to spend time at Akane Beach's most popular resort, Akane Resort. And after the five attendees, Alfonzo, Elicia, Cana, Ultear, and Erza, were decided on and Erza ended the brawl at the guild hall, Alfonzo and his girlfriends returned to the mansion.
Once there, the five who would be going on the vacation spent some time packing their bags before calling it a night. Naturally, since Mirajane and Sun would not be able to see Alfonzo for the next few days, they made sure to have as much fun as they could with him that night.
The next day, the five young wizards woke up early, packed their luggage into the Escalade, and started their drive to the resort. And since they left Magnolia so early in the morning, they arrived just before noon.
After getting checked in, the first thing the group did was check out their room and get settled.
"So, what do you guys wanna do today?" Alfonzo asked as he put his clothes into one of the closets in the hotel suite. "There's quite a bit to do here. There are some pretty famous restaurants, a casino, an amusement park, ---"
"The beach!" four female voices chorused in unison.
"*Sigh* If that's what you want." Alfonzo said as he slumped his shoulders.
"Why do you sound so disappointed?" Erza asked curiously as she tried to decide between wearing a black bikini or a navy blue one.
"Oh, Fonzie doesn't really like the beach all that much." Elicia replied casually.
"Seriously?" Ultear asked, feeling a little bad about inviting Alfonzo on the trip now.
"How can you not like the beach, Fonzie?" Cana asked curiously. "I mean, laying back on a beach chair with a cold drink is one of life's greatest pleasures."
"It's because of the sand." Alfonzo replied in a resigned tone.
"huh?" Cana, Ultear, and Erza asked in confusion.
"It's because no matter how hard I try not to; I end up with sand in my hair. And it takes forever to get sand out of dreads. I'll be dropping sand with every step for at least a month."
With that, all three girls looked at Alfonzo, more specifically his hair, and understood immediately.
"Anyway, don't let me kill your vibe." Alfonzo said with a smile after noticing that the mood had dropped a little. "Now that I can use [Electromagnetism Magic], there might be something I can do about it."
As he spoke, Alfonzo finished putting away his luggage. Then, he started getting undressed so that he could put on his swimming trunks.
Meanwhile, the four girls, who have been introduced to the pleasures of the flesh couldn't help but lick their lips as they watched Alfonzo's muscular body coming more and more into view as he undressed.
"*Sigh* You girls…" Alfonzo said with a chuckle. "We have plenty of time to do what you're thinking at night. But if you want to enjoy the beach during the day, then you'd better drop that idea."
With that, the girls snapped out of their horny daydreams. Then, like Alfonzo, they quickly finished unpacking their luggage and changed into their swimsuits. And Alfonzo enjoyed every moment of the show.
About half an hour later, after putting on their swimsuits, renting a few beach chairs and an umbrella, and finding a good spot on the beach, the group of five were ready to enjoy their afternoon.
"Hey, Alfonzo, can you help me put on some sun tan oil?" Erza asked with a slightly seductive smile as Alfonzo set up the beach umbrella.
"Sure, I don't mind." Alfonzo replied with a smile. "But is it even necessary? I mean, isn't the passive amount of magic power your body releases enough to defend from sun burns?"
"That's true." Ultear said, cutting into the conversation. "But this special sun tan oil still lets you get a tan even with the passive defenses of a wizard."
"I see." Alfonzo replied curiously while taking the bottle of sun tan oil from Erza and reading its label.
"You wouldn't mind helping me either, would you?" Ultear asked with a smile.
"I think I need some help, too." Cana said, taking advantage of the situation with a smile.
"Me too, Fonzie." Elicia said, making it unanimous that Alfonzo would be helping apply sun tan oil.
Luckily, everyone anticipated that part of this trip to the beach would be spent sun bathing. So, all four girls had towels big enough that they could lay comfortably on. So, Alfonzo laid all the towels over the beach chairs, which could be reclined so far that the occupant could lay flat on them, after placing them a small distance from each other.
Then, after getting the towels and chairs set up, Alfonzo got to work. Since Erza was the first to ask combined with the fact that she provided the sun tan oil, Alfonzo applied it on her first. After her, was Elicia, followed by Cana, leaving Ultear for last.
Naturally, Alfonzo took advantage of the task he was given and copped more than a few feels while applying the sun tan oil, resulting in a few stifled moans, for everyone other than Erza, who had no issue with her moans echoing over the nearby beach, and flushed faces. In the end, as Alfonzo finished with Erza, Elicia, and Cana, they were left lying limply on their beach chairs with sloppy, satisfied smiles on their faces.
"Mmm! You don't have to Ahn… do that." Ultear said as she tried to suppress her moans.
"What are you talking about?" Alfonzo asked as he let his hands glide up and down Ultear's left thigh with an innocent expression on his face. "I'm just making sure that the oil gets applied evenly. We wouldn't want you to have an uneven tan now, would we?"
"You know that's not what I was… Ahn… talking about." Ultear said, quickly suppressing another moan as Alfonzo's thumb brushed against her crotch while he was rubbing oil into the base of her thigh.
With that, Alfonzo's smile widened.
"Oh, I'm just taking the payment for my services." Alfonzo said in a cheerful, sing-song tone. "You know my motto, don't you? Wizards never do anything for free."
In response, Ultear could only roll her eyes while trying to suppress any moans that Alfonzo elicited from her.
"Anyway, How's that girl, Meredy doing?" Alfonzo asked curiously. "We don't see her around the guild all that much."
"That's because she does a lot of quests." Ultear replied calmly now that Alfonzo had moved from her thighs to her calves. "She usually goes on quests of B-Class or higher with my mother. I've been on a few with er, too."
"Oh, so she's getting along just fine, huh?" Alfonzo replied with a smile. "Well, then, I guess I have nothing to worry about. But I don't even know what kind of magic she uses. I mean, she's never trained with us."
"Yeah, Mom decided that she would oversee *Sigh* Meredy's training." Ultear said with a content sigh. "Even though she's not Mom's disciple, she's taken a real liking to the girl. And it's plain to see that she looks at my mom like a mother figure."
"Then, she's in good hands." Alfonzo said as he finished rubbing the oil into Ultear's calves. Then, he continued as he started on her feet. "but you still never said what kind of magic she uses."
"Ah… Stop… You don't have to do my feet. Haha." Ultear said, wriggling to free her right foot from Alfonzo's grasp. "You know I'm ticklish."
"Oh, I'm quite aware." Alfonzo said with a devilish grin as he held onto Ultear's foot firmly. "I'm oiling you up from head to toe, and there's nothing you can do about it, Sweetheart. Now, you should just answer the question."
"You're such a bully." Ultear replied, trying to pout through the laughter.
Needless to say, Ultear was completely incapable of freeing her feet from Alfonzo's grasp before he was satisfied. Unfortunately, because of the laughter, she was unable to answer Alfonzo's question about Meredy's magic, too.
"So, you gonna tell me about Meredy's magic?" Alfonzo asked with a smile.
"*Pant* *Pant* *Pant*" Ultear glared at Alfonzo while trying to get her breathing under control. "She uses *Pant* a type of ancient magic *Pant* called [Maguilty Sense]. Apparently, *Pant* she awakened it on her own."
Hearing that, Alfonzo opened his eyes wide in surprise. Although it was surprising that Meredy awakened a type of ancient magic on her own, Alfonzo found it even more surprising that she awakened [Maguilty Sense], as he thought that she used that kind of magic thanks to Hades of Grimoire Heart teaching it to her.
"I had the same reaction when I found out." Ultear said after seeing Alfonzo's reaction. "Naturally awakening ancient magic is really, really rare."
"That's an understatement." Alfonzo muttered, trying to hide the fact that he was surprised for a different reason. "So, what does this magic do?"
"She can link the senses of two or more people." Ultear replied. "Basically, if one of the people linked together feels pain of some sort, then everyone else who is linked will feel the pain, too. But they won't receive the physical damage. Still, causing enough pain to one person could make a whole group of opponents faint without the need to fight."
"Yeah, that's pretty impressive." Alfonzo said with a nod. "But I think you're overlooking something crucial. If she could link people's senses, couldn't she be the best support wizard in the guild. I mean, imagine if she could connect two or more people's strength. How much stronger would their attacks be together?"
Based on the way Ultear's eyes widened, it was clear that she had not even considered that option.
Alfonzo, seeing Ultear's expression, could not help but smile at her. On top of that, he noticed that the other girls were coming to their senses, as well.
"No fair, Fonzie." Elicia said with a pout as she sat up. "You went easy on Ultear."
"Seriously." Cana added. "There's no way she has better endurance than the rest of us."
"Nah, I didn't." Alfonzo replied, waving his hand dismissively. "If anything, I went harder on her."
"Then why didn't she end up like the rest of us?" Erza asked.
"Because she's ticklish." Alfonzo replied with a shrug.
"He tickled my feet for, like, five minutes straight and wouldn't let them go." Ultear said with a pout, causing the other girls to smile.
"Anyway, now that you're all oiled up, let's go have some fun." Alfonzo said, changing the topic.
Like that, Alfonzo, Elicia, Ultear, and Erza went to play on the beach while Cana decided that she would enjoy a few drinks under the sun.
"hey, is it just me or are a lot of people staring at us?" Elicia asked while looking around.
"It's more like glaring." Ultear muttered.
"Those are the glares of envious onlookers." Erza said. "You should pay them no mind. Now, let's go have some fun."
Like Erza said, most of the men on the beach were glaring at Alfonzo with jealousy for being surrounded by four gorgeous women. Meanwhile, the women were glaring at the girls for having such a handsome guy attending to them.
Still, those glares didn't stop the group from having fun. Though, Alfonzo did have to save some poor soul who thought it would be a good idea to hit on Cana, while she was drinking alone, from the fate of never having children after she got too annoyed.
Eventually, around the time the sun set, the group decided to go back to their room and get cleaned up for dinner and a few rounds at the casino. Unfortunately, there were only two bathrooms in the suite. And to make sure that they actually got ready for dinner instead of spending the evening like animals in heat, they decided to take showers alone, with Alfonzo going last.
While Alfonzo was in the shower, the girls decided that Elicia, Cana, and Ultear would book a table at the best restaurant in the resort while Erza waited for Alfonzo. However, while waiting, Erza happened to fall asleep for a brief moment.
Unfortunately, during her short sleep, she had a dream about her past. A past that she would rather not remember. A past where she was a slave forced to build a large magical tower. A past where she lost one of the most precious people in her life. A past where she was forced to leave her friends behind after being betrayed by another.
"Erza… Erza…" Are you alright?"
That voice was enough to pull Erza out of her nightmare. When she looked around, she saw that she was still I the hotel suite and Alfonzo was sitting next to her while combing his fingers through her hair soothingly.
"*Sigh* It was just a dream…." Erza muttered while covering her eyes with her left forearm.
"Yeah, a pretty bad one." Alfonzo said with concern in his tone. "Are you alright? Do you wanna stay here and relax instead of going out tonight?"
Smiling at the concern Alfonzo was showing, Erza took her arm from in front of her face. Then, she got a good look at what Alfonzo was wearing for the evening. Tonight, Alfonzo was wearing a white suit with a black dress shirt with white pin stripes and a white tie with a royal blue Fairy Tail emblem.
"You look great, Alfonzo." Erza said with a smile. "I guess I should get dressed, too."
With that, Erza stood up before she was engulfed in light of her [Requip Magic]. A moment later, she was dressed in a black evening gown with a strap that crossed over her upper chest and wrapped behind her neck, revealing her shoulders, back, and a good amount of cleavage. There was also a small, scarlet, Fairy Tail emblem on her right breast and she wore a pair of scarlet red high heels to complete the ensemble.
"So, how do I look?" Erza asked as she struck a pose.
"Stunning." Alfonzo said with a smile as he extended his left arm to Erza. "Now, I think we should get going before the other girls get impatient and come looking for us."
Smiling in response, Erza hooked her right arm around Alfonzo's arm before [Requipping] a small purse into her left hand as they left the room.

Earth Land, Ishgar, Kingdom of Fiore, Akane beach.
September, x784.
After leaving the room, Alfonzo and Erza quickly made their way to the restaurant where Elicia, Cana, and Ultear had already been seated.
Though Erza was putting on a strong front while being escorted by Alfonzo, it was clear to the others, who had known her for a few years by now, that something was bothering her. Still, they would not trample on their friend/sister's pride by making a big deal over it. Instead, they would make the sour mood disappear by the end of the night by turning the resort upside down.
Proving the thoughts of the others correct, through dinner and even once they moved onto the hotel's casino, Erza clung to Alfonzo as if he were a security blanket. Though, Alfonzo didn't mind having Erza pressed up against him for prolonged periods of time in the slightest. In fact, he was happy to be her safety pillar for as long as she wanted.
Once inside the resort's casino, the group decided to split into three smaller groups. While Elicia did not gamble, she decided to go with Cana, who was liable to cause trouble after having too many of the complementary drinks. Meanwhile, Ultear decided to explore the casino on her own and try out any games that seemed interesting to her.
That left Alfonzo to explore the casino with Erza. Currently, about twenty minutes after the group separated, Alfonzo, with Erza seated in his lap, was sitting at a poker table watching Erza play Texas Hold Em with three other guests of the resort.
"Ha! Full house!" Erza cheered after turning over her cards.
"The beautiful lady is the winner." The dealer said while pushing the pot in front of Erza.
*Bang!*
"Damn it!" One of the men at the table with a pair of golden rimmed glasses shouted in frustration as he slammed his fist onto the table. "I lost again!"
"What kind of luck does this girl have?" Another, much older man asked in a resigned tone.
"Deal the next hand!" A third man with bloodshot eyes and alcohol on his breath shouted, desperate to win back what he lost.
"*Sigh* This is why I don't' gamble." Alfonzo muttered with his arms wrapped around Erza's waist.
"What do you mean?" Erza asked curiously. "From what I've seen, you have really good luck."
"I do." Alfonzo replied with a nod. "Plus, I know quite a few gambling techniques that are almost like second nature to me. So, I see a lot of people end up like them when I play."
As Alfonzo spoke the last sentence, he gestured towards the other three men at the table with is chin.
In fact, In Alfonzo's last life, the reason he had enough money to start his repair business was due to a week spent in Las Vegas when he turned twenty-five.
At that point, he was living off the money he received from the government because of his disability. Finding a job as someone with a visual impairment in the United States that pays well enough to sustain a person's livelihood was much tougher than one might expect. So, on a trip to get away from it all, he and a few of his closest friends went to Vegas to relax.
On that trip, Alfonzo managed to hit the jackpot on one of the highest paying slot machines. Then, after getting the money and putting most of it aside, he spent a few days watching gambling tutorials on his smartphone. After learning them, to make a long story short, he was politely asked to leave the casino and never come back.
While Alfonzo was remembering things from his past life, a young man with tan skin and blond hair, wearing the attire of a dealer, approached behind the current dealer.
"Dealer change." The tan skinned young man said in a low tone.
Nodding in response, the dealer set the deck of cards in his hand on the table and left to go on break or retire for the evening. After that, the tan skinned young man, with his head lowered, picked up the cards and began shuffling them in a flashy way.
Noticing the new arrival, Alfonzo narrowed his eyes, knowing what to expect from this point forward. Erza, on the other hand, looked at the new dealer with curiosity. For some reason, she found him familiar, though she could not put her finger on why exactly.
"Now that the dealer has changed, let's see if that luck of yours will continue, Sister Erza." The dealer said, raising his head to reveal a face with a manic smile.
The young man had wavy, blond hair, black, beady eyes, and tan skin with a small S-shaped tattoo under his lower lip.
"Shô?" Erza asked in disbelief as the image of a young boy from her past overlapped with the young man in front of her.
At the same time, Elicia and Cana were sitting at the bar. While Elicia was getting bored from just watching Cana drink to her hearts content, a large man approached them.
"Pardon me, ladies." The large man said in a deep voice.
The first to react was Elicia, who looked the man up and down. A moment later, a flash of recognition flashed in her eyes as she narrowed them.
What Elicia saw was a tall, muscular man with black hair, a black right eye, an eyepatch covering his left eye, and a metal plate covering his lower jaw wearing a pair of black pants to cover his much less developed legs, a light blue cloth draped over his left shoulder that hung down past his waist in the front and the back, a white sash, and a white piece of cloth around his head that resembled a turban.
"Ah, here comes another one." Cana said in an annoyed tone after glancing over her shoulder. "Beat it, buddy. We're both already taken."
After speaking, Cana reached over and grabbed Elicia's left hand with her own and showed off their engagement rings.
At first, the large man was taken aback by the insinuation that he was there to hit on the women in front of him. However, he quickly regained his composure.
"I'm not here to flirt." The man said calmly. "I've only come to ask you, wizards of Fairy Tail, one question."
Hearing that, Cana sighed in annoyance before she turned around to face the large man. Looking him up and down, her slightly intoxicated mind made her blurt out the first thing that came to mind after she saw how much less muscular the man's legs were compared to his upper body.
"Whoa!" Cana exclaimed. "Someone's been skipping leg day."
Hearing that, the man's eyebrow twitched. Still, he decided to push on, his next words causing Cana to also narrow her eyes.
"Where is Erza Scarlet?" The man asked as he looked down at the two women.
Meanwhile, in another part of the casino, Ultear was standing in front of a giant, spinning roulette wheel. In fact, this roulette wheel was the largest one on the continent, with the largest possible pay out. Depending on how you bet before the spin, you could make anywhere from double your initial bet, to 1,500 times the amount.
"Come on! Come on! Mama needs a new pair of shoes!" Ultear shouted, getting lost in the excitement of the other gamblers around her. "Let's go! Show me 1029!"
That's right, for this spin, Ultear had decided to make the highest, and least likely to succeed, bet. She had put 100,000 Jewels on a single number. If it landed on any other number on the board, she would lose everything. However, if the ball landed on her number, she would walk away with 150,000,000 Jewels, her projected income from completing S-Class quests for seven or eight years.
To her surprise, the ball landed on Ultear's number when the roulette stopped spinning, resulting in the crowd falling silent. A moment later, Ultear snapped back to her senses.
"Did I really… win?" Ultear asked in a disbelieving tone. The, once her mind completely registered what happened, she shouted happily. "I won! I really won!"
With Ultear's exclamation, the rest of the gamblers also snapped out of there state of disbelief. Although there were a few people that shot envious glares at Ultear, most of the people were simply high on the atmosphere and started cheering for the newly rich young woman.
"Congratulations, Doll." A male voice said in the tone of an old school gangster. "That's some fine luck you've got there."
"Yeah, you're really lucky, Meow." A young woman's voice added with a feline verbal tick.
Looking back at the source of the voices, Ultear saw a rather strange pair of man and woman looking at her with grins on their faces.
First, the man had black hair and thick lips while he wore a royal blue suit, a white collared shirt, a red tie, a red bowler hat, a pair of sunglasses with oval-shaped lenses, and a white scarf loosely wrapped around his neck. But what made him stand out the most was the fact that his entire body seemed to be composed of building blocks of different sizes.
Then, there was the young woman. She had a curvaceous figure with decidedly cat like features with her eyes, mouth, and nose resembling those of a cat. She also had four whisker-like tattoos, two on each side, on her cheeks. Also, her hair was styled into cat ears on the top of her head while the rest was tied into twin ponytails in the back.
The young woman's attire consisted of a pink dress with a white bow tie on the chest, pink frills on the lower portion, white leggings, and a yellow jacket with white stripes and black trim over top of the dress.
"Oh, yeah, I got really lucky this time around." Ultear replied modestly with a smile.
"So, can we ask you one question, pretty please, Meow?" The young woman asked while leaning forward slightly, anticipation glinting in her eyes.
Expecting the question to be something along the lines of how she managed to win, Ultear nodded her head with an awkward expression on her face from not knowing how to answer. However, when she heard the man's question, she narrowed her eyes.
"Where can we find that dame, Erza Scarlet?" The man asked while tipping his bowler hat slightly. "You're from the same guild, so we thought you'd know, ya see."
Simultaneously, from two different parts of the casino, Elicia, Ultear, and Cana asked the same question.
"Who are you and what do you want with Erza?"
Back at the poker table, Erza was still in shock. Yet, she somehow managed to squeeze out her next question.
"Shô, is that really you?" Erza asked in a shaky tone. "Why are you here?"
"You're breaking my heart, Sister Erza." The young man, Shô, said in feigned sadness. Then, his tone grew dark as he continued. "It almost sounds as if you didn't want to see me after all this time. Well, I guess that makes sense, considering how you abandoned us all those years ago."
"No, Shô, I…" Erza said, stammering out a reply. "I didn't… I had no choice…"
By now, the other gamblers had left the table, feeling that something was wrong. So, Alfonzo, Erza, and Shô were the only ones at the table currently.
"*Sigh* It looks like your past has come back to haunt you, Erza." Alfonzo said, beginning to comb his fingers through Erza's hair. "It looks like the two of you need to have a long talk and settle some misunderstandings."
As Alfonzo spoke and tried to calm Erza, neither she nor Shô noticed the glint of hatred that flashed past his eyes. Though, it was not directed at anyone present. Still, because of his knowledge of the canon, Alfonzo already knew that Shô had come from the Tower of Heaven. The same Tower of Heaven Zeref Cultists started building and kidnapped many people to build. The same cultists responsible for the abduction of the village where he was born in this life and the ones who killed his and Elicia's parents.
"Alfonzo." Erza said, turning back to gaze at Alfonzo affectionately.
Meanwhile, Shô was at first taken back by Alfonzo's words and the way he tried to get them to reconcile. However, when he saw the way Erza looked at the man in front of him, and finally noticed that Erza was currently seated in his lap, he grew angry and jealous. Jealous that Erza had found someone to replace himself and his friends in Erza's heart.
"You have no right to interfere in the business between us!" Shô shouted angrily as he drew one of the cards in the deck he was holding and injected magic power into it.
"Shô, you can use magic?" Erza asked in disbelief after feeling Shô's magic power. "When did you learn that?"
"I'll teach you to mind your own business." Shô said while ignoring Erza's question and thinking that he could use Alfonzo to get Erza to agree to return to the tower without a fight. Then, he chanted his spell. "[Card Magic: Card Conversion]."
Immediately, Erza realized that Shô was about to attack Alfonzo. Instinctively, she reached out, hoping to stop Shô as she spoke frantically.
"Shô, please, stop!" Erza shouted with worry in her tone.
