"Your legs… Are still… Legs?" Alfonzo muttered after seeing Sun's soaking wet legs still in the form of human legs.
For most, that statement would be seen as redundant or obvious. However, in Sun's case it was something to be shocked about.
As a mermaid, and until this very moment, Sun's legs would transform into a pink-scaled fish tail whenever they got wet in the past. So, it was no surprise that all four people in the bathroom were shocked to see Sun's legs at the moment.
"I had my suspicions that she would gain control of her transformation when she lost her virginity." Elicia muttered blankly. "But Fonzie didn't even fill her up… This isn't what I was expecting at all.'
"Fill me up?" Sun questioned in a confused tone.
"Next time we do what we did last night, you'll see what I mean." Elicia replied with a smile.
"That's right… Control her transformation." Alfonzo said, drawing everyone's attention. "Sun, can you change your legs into your fish tail?"
"Uh… I don't know." Sun replied. "But I can try."
With that, Sun closed her eyes in concentration. Only a few moments later, her legs began to glow. Then, the shape of the glow changed into one long appendage instead of two. When the glow faded, her legs had been replaced by the pink-scaled fish tail everyone was expecting.
"I did it…" Sun muttered in disbelief. Then, her expression changed to one of elation. "I did it! I can control my transformation! Now, I'm considered an adult!"
With that, Sun's tail started to glow and reverted back to a pair of human legs. In the next instant, Sun jumped off the stool she was sitting on and hugged Alfonzo tightly.
Thank you, Alfonzo!" Sun squealed happily. "Because you made me feel so good last night, I can control my transformation. If I had known this is how it worked, I would have done it much sooner."
Seeing the happy smile on Sun's face, the other three could only smile in return. However, when they heard her mention doing this sooner, their smiles turned wry.
"If this had happened any sooner, Gozaburo would have attacked Alfonzo and gotten himself killed." Ultear said while shaking her head.
"Yeah, because we all know he wouldn't have stopped until one of them were dead." Elicia added.
"Alright, we can talk about Gozaburo's death wish later." Alfonzo said while combing his fingers through Sun's hair. "For now, let's get cleaned up and head to the guild hall."
"Okay~." The girls replied as they all started washing up quickly.
About an hour later, Alfonzo, Elicia, Ultear, and Sun arrived at the guild hall, with Elicia and Sun locking arms with Alfonzo. Meanwhile, Ultear was pouting because she lost the game of Rock-Paper-Scissors to determine who would get to walk with Alfonzo like that.
Upon opening the guild hall's doors, the group of four drew everyone's attention for a moment. However, they quickly went back to doing whatever it was they were doing. At the same time, Gozaburo's eyebrow twitched when he saw Sun clinging onto Alfonzo. But other than that, he did nothing to stop it.
"Alfonzo, Elicia, Ultear, Sun, good morning." Mirajane said after she finished hanging new quest sheets on the quest board. "You're a little later than usual. Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, we were pretty tired after last night." Elicia replied with a smile. "Ultear is even having a little trouble walking."
"You know that, and you still kept me from holding on to Alfonzo for support." Ultear questioned with narrowed eyes.
"But you lost in Rock-Paper-Scissors." Elicia said innocently.
"If it was really that hard to walk, you should have said something, Ultear." Sun said with a concerned gaze. "I would have helped… Or, I would have let Alfonzo help you."
"How are you even walking like nothing is wrong." Ultear said, intending to mutter. However, her voice was much louder than she intended.
With that, the guild hall fell silent. Not because they were surprised to find out that Alfonzo might have taken two girls' virginities in the same night. Instead, it was because of the dark aura that was rolling off of Gozaburo.
Surprisingly, Gozaburo did not fly into a rage. Instead, he asked the waitress behind the bar for a glass of water. Once he received it, he stood up and walked calmly toward the group of new arrivals.
"It was only an hour ago that we said we needed to talk to Ren first and keep Gozaburo in the dark." Alfonzo said while face palming. "And now the cat's out of the bag as soon as we see him."
"Oops." Ultear said apologetically. "I didn't mean to be so loud."
Ignoring the banter, Gozaburo eventually arrived in front of the group. Stopping in front of Sun, who was looking at him with worry, Gozaburo wore a conflicted expression for a moment before it turned into one filled with resolution.
"Sun, I have to do this." Gozaburo said. "Please forgive me."
With that, Gozaburo splashed the glass of water down at Sun's legs. Meanwhile, As soon as Ren realized what Gozaburo was about to do, she got up and rushed toward him with a furious expression on her face. If their assumptions were wrong, they would have a lot of explaining to do.
While most people present were confused by Gozaburo's actions, he paid them no mind. Hoping and praying, in his mind, that the familiar glow would cover her legs before they turned into a fish tail, Gozaburo's mind almost collapsed when Sun's legs remained a pair of flesh and blood human legs.
Looking as if he wanted to explode in anger, Gozaburo continued staring at the water running down Sun's legs for a while. Then, he turned his head towards Alfonzo mechanically.
"You did it last night?" Gozaburo asked, suppressing his anger.
"We did." Alfonzo replied in a serious tone without averting his eyes.
"Fight me." Gozaburo demanded. "If you're not strong enough to protect her, I'll cancel this engagement if it's the last thing I ever do."
*Bang!*
"Are you stupid?" Ren asked after running over and punching Gozaburo in the back of his head. "Everyone in the guild knows he's stronger than you. On top of that, he has a much more varied skill set than increasing his physical strength and punching things. If there was something he couldn't protect Sun from, then there's nothing you could do about it either!"
"But… My Sun." Gozaburo said in a tearful tone from the floor. "She's not my little girl anymore. She's all grown up now."
Hearing the heartbreak in Gozaburo's tone, the members of the guild almost felt sorry for him. However, after remembering the way he usually acted when it comes to Sun, they quickly got over that feeling. Instead, now that the drama seemed to be over, they went back to doing whatever it was that they liked to do for the last few minutes before training started.
"Oh, get over it." Ren said, kicking Gozaburo in the ribs. "She's already seventeen. She stopped being a little girl a long time ago."
At that moment, Masa approached the group and knelt down next to Gozaburo.
"Come on Boss." Masa said as he lifted Gozaburo off the ground. "Why don't we go have a seat over there. We can get a drink to drown your sorrows, too."
Instead of responding verbally, Gozaburo started crying loudly, tears and snot covering his face. Somehow, Masa managed to keep all of the tears and snot from smearing on is suit. Then, when they were halfway to the bar, Masa turned back and gave Alfonzo a thumbs up.
'Masa~!' Alfonzo and Elicia thought simultaneously as they watched Masa walk away with Gozaburo.
"now that the nuisance is gone, it's almost time for you all to get to your usual training, right?" Ren asked with a smirk. Then, she focused her attention on Sun. "but before you go, I'm gonna borrow my daughter for a little while."
"Sure." Alfonzo replied with a smile. Then, he nudged Sun towards Ren. "Who am I to get between a chat between a mother and daughter. I would kill to be able to chat with Mama again."
Hearing that last sentence and the tone Alfonzo said it in, Elicia tightened her hug on Alfonzo's arm. Though most people thought he was talking about Bianca, Elicia knew that he was talking about both Bianca and his mother from his past life.
Fortunately, Elicia was the only one who picked up on the minor fluctuation in Alfonzo's tone. He did not want to become a spectacle by getting a bunch of sympathy hugs at the entrance of the guild hall.
A few moments later, the group separated. While Alfonzo, Elicia, and Ultear led Alzack, Strauss siblings, and Bisca into the back of the guild for training, Ren took Sun into the infirmary to have a little chat.
"So, tell me what happened last night?" Ren asked with excited curiosity.
"Um… It went like this…" Sun replied, starting her explanation.
She explained that she and Marin completed their quest and were on the way home. Deciding that they were ready to come back to Magnolia instead of spending another night in the town where they did their quest, they got off the train around midnight.
Then, on their way from the station, they ran into Elicia and Marin decided to crash at their house. Then, when they entered the house, they heard a loud scream and went to check it out. When they did, they saw Alfonzo and Ultear naked together having sex.
On a side note, during their time in the bathroom and the walk to the guild hall, Alfonzo, Elicia, and Ultear gave Sun a crash course on sex.
"*Sigh* I knew I should have put my foot down with your father." Ren said in an exasperated tone. "He didn't want me to explain what sex was because it might corrupt you."
"But Alfonzo and the others told me that sex is the ultimate way to show someone your feelings." Sun replied while tilting her head. "Why would that corrupt me?"
"I'll tell you later." Ren said, patting Sun on the head. "Go on an continue your story."
Nodding in uncertainty, Sun continued by telling Ren that Alfonzo noticed the three of them and let them join in if they wanted. She then explained how something deep down was telling her to join. So, she did.
"It didn't last very long, though." Sun said.
"Really, is he a quick shot?" Ren asked sounding a bit disappointed, but even more excited to hear some gossip.
"I'm not sure what you mean, Mom." Sun replied. "But from what Lici said, they continued for a few hours after I passed out."
"You passed out?" Ren muttered. "I guess that makes sense. Tell me what happened."
"Well… First he… licked… me down there for a couple of minutes until my head went all fuzzy and I screamed." Sun said, continuing her explanation. "Then, it felt like something inside of me changed when he put his thing inside me down there. After that, he started moving and it felt really good. After a few minutes, I passed out when my head got all fuzzy a second time."
"*Sigh* I see, a man who isn't a fraid to go down, huh? When was the last time Gozaburo did that for me?." Ren asked with a bit of envy in her tone. Then, she snapped back to her senses and continued. "It looks like I've got a lot to teach you. They only told you the bare minimum about sex."
Like that, Ren started her course on Sex Ed. Needless to say, Sun skipped training that day. As soon as Ren let her go, Sun remembered that she had not reported on her quest with Marin. So, she went to Makarov and gave the quest report. When Makarov questioned where Marin was, Sun replied that she was still at home getting some rest after the quest.
At around the same time Sun finished explaining the events of last night to her mother, the other mother related to the participants in last night's events, Ur, returned from her own quest. After reporting to Makarov, she went out to the backyard to watch the younger generation train. However, she was surprised to see that Ultear was not participating in the physical training> Instead, she was just manipulating her [Ice Magic] off to the side.
"Hey, Ultear, I'm back." Ur said while approaching her daughter.
"Hey, Mom, welcome back." Ultear replied, letting the ice construct on her palm dissipate. "How was the quest."
"No problem at all." Ultear replied with a smile. Then, she sat down next to Ultear and asked the question that was on her mind. "So, why are you sitting here by yourself? You usually join them for physical training."
Immediately, Ultear's cheeks reddened slightly, something Ur noticed all too easily.
"Is something wrong?" Ur asked, a small smirk forming on her lips.
"I… Can't really… Move my legs…" Ultear muttered softly.
"What did you say?" Ur asked, her smirk widening. "You gotta speak up a little."
"Mom!" Ultear squealed. "Stop teasing me. I know you heard what I said."
"Hahaha!" Ur laughed good naturedly. "Don't get mad, My Tear. It's one of the privileges of being a mother to embarrass their children. Anyway, so you finally did it, huh? How was it? You gotta tell me everything."
"*Sigh* It was way better than I expected." Ultear replied. "If I had known it would have been that good, I would have given up on trying to have my first time without Elicia present much sooner."
Like that, another session of mother-daughter gossip time started on the training grounds. And like Sun, Ultear's training was cut short due to the conversation.
Alright, this is the last one for today. I'll be back to my normal schedule starting tomorrow.

July, x784.
More than a month has passed since Eisenwald's plan failed and Lullaby was defeated. In that month, Ultear finally moved in with Alfonzo and Elicia, Lucy found a permanent spot on Natsu's team along with Gray and Erza, and Cana decided to remain as a solo wizard. However, if Alfonzo or Elicia asked her to, she would join them on quests without hesitation.
Another thing to take note of was that Erza accepted a challenge from Natsu when they returned from Clover. Unlike in the Canon version of events, it was not stopped partway by the Magic Council coming to arrest Erza. Instead, it came to a conclusion.
And that conclusion was Natsu's defeat. Something that Gray mocked him relentlessly for. In the end, it turned into a brawl in the guild hall.
On the other hand, Erza was rewarded for her victory. While the brawl was going on, she could be seen sitting on Alfonzo's lap with a blissful smile on her face while he fed her a strawberry shortcake that he baked specifically for her.
After that, things went on as usual. Quests were taken and completed, brawls took place several times a day, And the number of complaints the guild received from clients and the Magic Council declined in number as the days went by.
Today, Alfonzo and Elicia were both on the second floor of the guild hall, checking the available S-Class quests. At the same time, Laxus was also on the second floor. Though he did not say anything, he was glaring at Alfonzo with enough intensity to set him ablaze.
More than twelve years have passed since they first fought. And in all those years, Laxus has managed one draw and more losses than he cares to count. However, in the last year, he has not challenged Alfonzo even once. Once Alfonzo learned [Electromagnetism Magic], he could not even touch the younger wizard with his lightning. So, until he came up with a counter measure, he backed off significantly.
"So, what kind of quest are we gonna take this time, Fonzie?" Elicia asked as she looked over all the normal S-Class quests. "Maybe we should do a monster subjugation quest. I haven't done one of those in a while."
"If that's what you want, I'm fine with it." Alfonzo replied. "Lately, all I've done is Dark Guild Subjugation. So, the change of pace would be nice."
"How are there so many Dark Guilds with so many A-Class wizards, anyway?" Elicia asked, tilting her head. "I mean, where do all those strong wizards come from?"
"Who knows." Alfonzo replied with a shrug. "But getting rid of them is good for the continent. I mean, the last one I took out was experimenting on kids to increase their magic power reserves by splicing magical beast DNA into them. Their lead researcher even used his wife and daughter, turning them both into chimera in the process."
"That sounds a lot like Shou Tucker from FMA." Elicia muttered after hearing what Alfonzo had to say.
Instead of responding verbally, Alfonzo simply stared at Elicia with a grim expression.
"Seriously?" Elicia asked in surprise. "What happened to him?"
"He's the only one I didn't capture." Alfonzo said in a solemn tone.
"You let him get away?" Elicia asked. However, when she watched Alfonzo's expression closely, she knew that was not the case.
"No, when I raided the base, he was the first to run." Alfonzo replied with a shake of his head and began his explanation. "When I saw his face, I knew exactly who he was. So, I marked him with my [Magic Power Detection]. Then, after I finished subduing the other dark wizards, I left the base and took aim."
Listening with rapt attention, the concern in Elicia's gaze was evident.
"Then, I fired a [Railgun]." Alfonzo continued without a change in his expression. "By the time I found his corpse, there was a basketball-sized hole in his torso, the wound was cauterized, and the horror etched on his face was so deep."
Immediately, Elicia wrapped her arms around Alfonzo's waist and hugged him tightly.
"That was your first kill, right?" Elicia asked in a concerned tone. "I usually sleep too deep to notice, but have you been sleeping well since then?"
"Yeah, I didn't feel any negative repercussions." Alfonzo replied. "Killing someone like that didn't feel like I killed a human. It was more like killing a monster."
"I'm glad to hear that." Elicia replied, letting go of Alfonzo. "*Sigh* It's hard to believe someone could treat their own wife and child like that."
"The worst thing about it is that I doubt they even knew he was a dark wizard." Alfonzo replied. "I mean, he lived in the most normal two story home in the nearby town that I had ever seen. Anyway, that's enough about such a gloomy topic. Let's pick a quest."
Nodding in response, Elicia turned back to the quest board. A few moments later, she pulled a quest sheet off the board.
"Let's do this one." Elicia said, holding the quest sheet in front of Alfonzo.
"Hmm… let's see." Alfonzo said as he started to read the quest sheet.
Kill the Magical Centipede King
Rank: S
Client: Moka, Village Chief
Objective: Kill the Magical Centipedes and their king that have been attacking the village.
Location: Galuna Island
Notes: For the past week, our village has been under attack from a group of Centipede Magical Beasts. And in those attacks, we have lost almost a quarter of our residents. We've known that these centipedes were on the island for decades. However, they have never attacked our village before. We don't have the means to leave the island en mass. If we don't receive help soon, our entire village will be wiped out.
Reward: 1,500,000 Jewels and a Golden Celestial Spirit Key
"Galuna Island, huh?" Alfonzo asked n surprise. "I always wanted to check that place out. And that reward is the reason why. But I never thought there would be a quest to do so."
"I know, right?" Elicia replied. "Anyway, what do you think?"
"I'm down." Alfonzo replied. "Not really looking forward to fighting some big ass bugs, though."
"Still got that phobia, huh?" Elicia asked with a snicker. "I still think it's cute how afraid of bugs and insects you used to be."
"You wouldn't think it was cute if you woke up covered in carpenter ants when you were a kid." Alfonzo said while rolling his eyes in annoyance.
In their past life, Alfonzo and his family moved into a new house when he was eight years old. Unfortunately, the home inspector missed the fact that the house was infested with carpenter ants. Alfonzo, on the other hand, found out the hard way. One day, he fell asleep on the floor of the living room while watching TV. And when he woke up, he was covered head to toe in carpenter ants. He hasn't done well with insects and bugs ever since.
Continuing to bicker about Alfonzo's former phobia that has improved from complete fear to mild discomfort over the years, Alfonzo and Elicia eventually reached the first floor of the guild hall.
As soon as they did, Ultear and Erza approached.
"If you two are going on an S-Class quest, mind if I tag along?" Ultear asked with a smile.
"Indeed, I would like to join you as well." Erza said with a nod of her head.
"Well, that depends." Elicia said with a smile. "How are you with bugs? More specifically, centipedes?"
"They don't bother me." Ultear replied.
"Me neither." Erza added.
"Well, what do you think, Fonzie?" Elicia turned toward Alfonzo and asked.
Before the girls could get too excited, a mist seeped into the guild hall from under the front entrance. As it passed over the members of the guild present on the first floor, most of them started falling asleep. Even Cana, Erza, and Mirajane were no exception. In the end, only Alfonzo, Elicia, Makarov, and Ultear remained awake after the mist washed over the entire first floor.
A moment later, a hooded figure with a few staves strapped to his back entered the guild hall through the main entrance. Then, he strode through the guild hall, completely unbothered by all the unconscious people.
"Damn it, Mystogan." Makarov said, struggling to stay awake. "You don't have to do this every time you come to take a quest."
'I never understood why Mystogan's spell affected Gramps so much when I watched the anime. I mean, he's gotta have more than enough magic power to resist, or even outright ignore, Mystogan's magic, right?.' Alfonzo thought to himself as he glanced at Makarov. 'But, Now that I think about it, Gramps is eighty-eight years old, or some shit. He's just not what he used to be."
Ignoring Makarov's words, the hooded figure, Mystogan, walked toward the stairs to the second floor.
"Gramps is right, Mystogan." Alfonzo said with a wry smile while supporting Erza's unconscious body on his chest. "It wouldn't kill you to interact with the rest of the guild."
Stopping for a moment, Mystogan turned toward Alfonzo.
"I'm not good at interacting with others." Mystogan replied in a deep voice.
Two years ago, when Mystogan joined the guild, he was surprised that Alfonzo recognized him from that one time they met after Mirajane took her siblings on the S-Class quest to subdue the Beast. Still, the number of times they interacted with each other since then could be counted on one hand.
"Maybe if you actually tried, you'd find it's not all that hard." Alfonzo replied with a smile.
"I'll… consider it." Mystogan replied as he started walking again.
Then, he climbed the stairs, ignored Laxus, much to Laxus annoyance, picked a quest from the S-Class board, and walked back down the stairs.
"They'll wake up soon…" Mystogan said as he passed Alfonzo, Elicia, and Ultear. Then, he started counting down as he walked toward the front door. "In… five… four… three… two… one…"
Ever since Mystogan entered the guild hall, the doors stayed open. However, after counting down to one, he walked out and the doors closed themselves on their own. Then, his voice echoed throughout the guild hall. Though, there were only a few people awake to hear it.
"Zero."
In the next instant, Everyone affected by Mystogan's magic began to wake up. At the same time, Alfonzo picked Erza up I a princess carry.
"Let's get going." Alfonzo said as he started walking toward the guild hall's main entrance with Erza in his arms.
Nodding in response, Elicia and Ultear followed along while Erza was regaining her consciousness.
"You… Can put me down now, Alfonzo." Erza murmured with a blush when she realized that she was being carried.
"Nah, I'm good." Alfonzo replied with a teasing smile. "I like the feeling of having you in my arms. It would feel even nicer if you weren't wearing that armor, though."
Embarrassed to be seen in this position by others, Erza quickly hid her face in Alfonzo's chest. But considering that she was an M on the inside, Alfonzo knew she was enjoying it deep down. And that was made even more evident when Erza [Requipped] out of her armor into her casualwear. Meanwhile, Elicia and Ultear could not help but giggle at Erza's behavior.
Like that, the four left the guild hall, heading to the mansion to prepare for the quest. Meanwhile, Cana, sitting with the rest of their group, watched them leave with envy.
"Cana, are you okay?' Sun asked with concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Cana replied, clenching her fist under the table.
"Hey, do you guys know what put us all to sleep?" Natsu asked, annoyed at how easily he was affected by the [Sleep Magic].
"Mystogan must have showed up to take a quest." Mirajane replied. "According to Alfonzo and Elicia, he does that every time he shows up at the guild."
"Damn, that's so annoying." Gray muttered. "Does that mean they don't fall asleep when that guy shows up?"
"That's right." Mirajane replied with a nod. "Anyway, I should get back to work."
As she spoke, Mirajane patted some of the dust off her wine red dress and headed behind the bar.
"Who's Mystogan?" Lucy asked curiously.
"He's one of the guild's S-Class wizards." Levy replied. "He's really mysterious, though. So, I can't tell you much about him."
"Yeah, I don't even know what he looks like." Natsu said in a frustrated tone. "The one time I did see him, during the S-Class promotion Exam two years ago, he was wearing a hood that hid his face."
"Ha!" A laugh of derision sounded from the second floor.
Looking up, the group could see Laxus looking down at them.
"That's because you're all weak." Laxus taunted. "I know what Mystogan looks like. I've even seen under his hood."
"What was that?" Natsu asked, flying into a rage. "Why don't you come down here and Say that to my face."
"Hmph!" Laxus snorted. "Why don't you come up here and make me?"
"Gladly." Natsu growled as he leapt onto the table before jumping at Laxus.
With his fist reeled back and covered in flames, Natsu only made it halfway before a giant hand stretched from the bar and caught him in its grasp.
"Argh! Gramps! Let me go!" Natsu shouted angrily.
"Natsu, you know only S-Class wizards are allowed on the second floor." Makarov said, putting Natsu down on his seat.
"Hmph!" Laxus snorted once again. "Someone who can't even come up to the second floor isn't even worth my time."
With that, Laxus turned into a yellow bolt of lightning. Then, he disappeared from his spot on the second floor. In the next instant, he appeared in front of the guild hall's main entrance.
"Laxus, stop provoking the weaker members of the guild." Makarov said in a reprimanding tone.
Makarov, unaware that his words hit some of the younger wizards much harder than Laxus' taunting, did not notice the determination to do something stupid burning in Natsu's eyes.
