Grand Line. Banaro Island.
Today, Banaro Island was faced with destruction. This was a battle that would change the fate of the whole world.
Portgas D. Ace fought against Marshall D. Teach.
It was a fight between fire and darkness.
What both of them didn't know was that there was another group on Banaro Island. This group watched the fight from a distance.
„Wow, this power of darkness is truly astonishing", said Hancock while looking at the fight.
„This is a fight that would change the fate of many strong people. The world will face a war after this incident. Of course, we will change the course of the war, that is the reason why we are here", said Ezio and had a smile on his face.
Marshall D. Teach was a schemer that shocked the world after the war at Marineford. Nobody knew of his plan in the original story. After Ezio reincarnated into the world of One Piece, how could he not take advantage of the knowledge he had?
The fight was reaching the end. A massive amount of fire was fighting against a massive amount of darkness. At the end, Marshall D. Teach was the winner, but he was exhausted. Everyone could tell that this wasn't an easy victory for the man who will be called Blackbeard.
Marshall D. Teach stood in front of Ace and couldn't help but smile. This was the first step in his plan, a plan that would bring him to the top of the world in the shortest amount of time.
But then Blackbeard heard a clapping sound. A young man and his group walked towards him.
„Teach, you scheming bastard. To see the power of your devil fruit with my own eyes, I'm truly astonished"
Blackbeard couldn't help but frown. Who in the world didn't know who this young man was? The whole world knew his face, his name, and his power. It was because the whole world saw him fight.
„Blackflame Ezio", said Teach and couldn't help but tremble. On any other day, he wouldn't fear this guy as much as at this moment. The problem was that Teach was exhausted. He fought against the second division commander of the the strongest crew in this world. This wasn't an easy fight.
Ezio smiled.
„Our powers are somewhat similar but different at the same time. You control pure darkness and I control a burning darkness, you could say it is a darkness that burns everything in this world. Do you want to know if my black fire can burn even your darkness that seems to nullify the power of devil fruits?"
Blackbeard didn't want to talk. He attacked him with his devil fruit powers but to his surprise, even his power was burned away by the flame of this devil.
„You are a treacherous guy, Blackflame Ezio", said Blackbeard with fear in his eyes. „If I wouldn't have fought against Ace, do you think you could defeat me so easy? Where is your dignity? Aren't you a hero?"
Ezio laughed at this moment.
„I don't doubt that before the fight with Ace, you would be a very strong opponent. Why should I exhaust myself in a life and death battle with you if I could take you down in seconds after your fight? Dignity? Hero? Don't make me laugh. Only the foolish would fight with honor. I'm a proud man, but if this characteristic effects my decisions then I would be an idiot. This world is full of strong people, so I will take every opportunity to make myself stronger. And is there a better chance than this one?"
Blackbeard trembled. How could he be defeated at this moment? His journey only started. He waited so long to get his devil fruit. Now he acquired it and started his plan. He even defeated Ace. How could his road end here? This wasn't supposed to happen.
Amanda D. Lily walked besides Ezio.
„Why don't you make a deal with this guy? I think he is really strong. He should help us achieve our goals"
„No, this guy will die today"
It was a tempting idea to use Lily and make Blackbeard a slave. Lily's and Sid's powers changed the plan he previously had. He didn't want to use Lily's power that often. If all the people in his crew would be slaves that he acquired because of Lily's devil fruit, then he had a big problem. What would happen if Lily died? He did not want to rely on powers of others to build his strength. His crew should be loyal to him out of their own will. Maybe Lily was a slave because of their trade, but Ezio didn't want to command her like a slave. He treated her like any other crew member and the two slowly started to like each other. At this moment in time, there was even trust between the two.
Maybe Lily's power was a quick way to gain loyal team members in a short amount of time, but the manga showed that this way to get power could backfire. He thought about Doflamingo. With Sugar, he had many slaves that worked for him. After Sugar was defeated, his whole territory broke apart and all his ally's became enemies. Ezio didn't want to end like Doflamingo. He wanted that his team followed him out of their own will.
But this didn't mean he wouldn't use the possibilities that Lily's fruit would give him.
Ezio walked to Blackbeard and killed him. It was really too easy to kill this crafty guy at this moment, but Blackbeard was too exhausted after his fight.
„Sid, take control of this corpse"
A short amount of time later, Teach stood up and kneeled in front of Ezio.
„Teach, or should I call you Sid now? Take Ace and bring him to Sengoku. This is truly funny. The new Shichibukai, Marshall D. Teach, is in reality a clone that is under my control. It was truly lucky that I found you, Sid. With you and Lily, there are so many possibilities for the future. I can't wait for the day the war will start"
After that Ezio looked at the unconscious Ace that laid on the ground.
„Sorry, Ace", said Ezio but then he turned around and walked away.
Maybe Ezio had sympathy for Ace, but this was only sympathy as a reader of the manga. Now he was part of this world and he had to use every possibility to gain advantages. In reality, Ace was a stranger for him. He shouldn't show a stranger sympathy only because he knew him from the manga. This was no game.
Even if he had to make an enemy of Luffy, he wouldn't stop his plan.
章節 35: Future plans
One week after the incident on Banaro Island…
Ezio and his crew sat on a table in the meeting room.
Besides his previous crew members, there were now five new people. The three royal guardians, Sid and Lily. Only Tsuru was missing.
„Why did you send Tsuru away, Ezio?", asked Hancock.
„I've recruited Tsuru for one purpose. It was that we have an ally and informant at the headquarter of the marines. Maybe we can get the informations we want because I'm a Celestial Dragon, but it's still better to have one member of our crew there. So she will be our intelligence officer at the heart of the marines"
„How can you trust her?", asked Reiju confused.
„This woman is smart. She knows what will benefit her and what not. To achieve her personal goals, she needs us"
Now Ezio looked at his team. The three royal guardians weren't true members of his crew, but Ezio had a plan for them in the future.
„Our next goal is to build a big organization. We first start with the ten division commanders. These ten people will be the strongest force of our crew and will stand on top of the organization. At this moment we only have Hachi, Reiju and Bonney. That means we need to find seven trustworthy people to join us"
Hancock, Sid and Lily looked at Ezio with a frown.
„Hancock is the deputy leader, she isn't included in the ten division commanders. She stands above them and if I'm not present, she will be the highest authority in our organization"
Hancock smiled after she heard that. The other crew members were not happy, but nobody was stronger than Hancock, so they had no chance to say something against it.
„Besides the ten division commanders, there will be a special unit that works in other areas that we need. Lily and Sid are part of the special force and these two are only responding to me or Hancock. The leader of the second special unit is Walter Benson. He will be the leader of our intelligence group, but this will have to wait until we have enough people who join us"
Sid and Lily were happy that they had a special position that was only under the leader and the vice leader. Walter Benson was shocked. He never thought that he would be the leader of a special force. Ezio thought he was perfect for this position because he had the power of the swap swap fruit.
„We will have me as the leader and Hancock as the deputy leader. Under me are the ten strongest people of this organization - three of the ten leaders will have the power of a logia fruit, Reiju is the first one. The next three will have the power of a zoan fruit. The other three will have the power of a paramecia fruit, Bonney will be one of them. The last one is Hachi - he will be our swordsman and he is a special existence under the ten division commanders. He will recruit a group of strong fighters, but no one of them will eat a devil fruit. We need such a group, if someone would fall into the sea and we all were devil fruit users… this wouldn't be a funny way to die"
„Besides the ten commanders, one unit consists of Lily and Sid, I don't know how to name them… The only name I can think of is the ‚scheming division', but this sounds stupid. You two will be part of the shadow force in our organization, this includes Benson as the leader of the intelligence division. You act a little bit like Cipher Pol works for the World Government, but you can't compare the two"
„This is only the highest authority of our organization. All the division commanders will need a deputy, and this deputy has to be strong. Every division commander will have their own crew who represents us in this world. We have to recruit a lot of people - but this is something we can discuss when we found our ten division commanders. We are truly in a strange situation. I have all devil fruits to make us a big force, but we lack the people who can eat them. Isn't it usually so that organizations have enough people but not enough devil fruits? It doesn't really matter. Most of our future members, I already know where we can find them"
His knowledge from the manga was truly a blessing. There were many characters he had in mind and the next mission was to find them and recruit them. The best thing was that he had many devil fruits. He could recruit every character, make them strong and slowly build trust with them.
After that everyone left the meeting room. Reiju was depressed because Hancocks position was higher than hers, Hachi and Bonney didn't really care. Lily was happy because she liked to play in the shadows and Walter Benson was shocked because he was given so much trust by Ezio.
Only Hancock and Ezio remained in the meeting room.
„Ezio, you are strange. How did you know that there was this fight on Banaro Island?"
Ezio shrugged his shoulders and didn't answer.
„You said you know most of the people you will recruit… How do you know these people? We were together since you were a little brat and you never left the Holy Land. Answer me! Since you were a little brat, you knew of so many things, but who told you all these things?"
„The old fox"
„I don't believe you! This old fox can't even remember his own servants. How could he know all these things?"
Ezio sighed. Hancock always asked him these questions. She knew him since he was a little brat and his behavior and knowledge would make everyone suspicious at some point. How could he tell her that this world was a manga in his past life and now he was reborn into this manga. He didn't answer but used a tactic that would distract this suspicious woman.
He gave her a kiss on her cheeks.
„You know, my bed is very big. Too big for one person to sleep alone… You can join me tonight if you want to"
This was the best way to change the topic. A furious Hancock was now chasing the celestial brat. All the questions she had were forgotten in her fury.

It's time for recruitment! I have many characters in mind. You can write in the comments which character you would like to join this organization. It would be better if the character had no devil fruit at this point. Even Makino could make chaos in the New World if Ezio would give her the lightning fruit... So everything is possible! Write me your ideas :-)
