The idea of the story is great but the original author made an awful mistake, cyberpunk has long made effictive means of treating radiation problems and other sicknesses. They’ve had all these since the 2040’s when the finally finished cleaning the fallout from the Nuke Morgan Blackhand set off. The use of nanite treatments have been around for just as long.
