So this novel takes a different twist on those litrpg crafting stories. To start it off the mc is a grandpa around 65-70 i believe. And as this mc is so old it means he is very experienced. Meaning he's not some gullible, *****, mc. Right off the back that's a big plus for me. Now I dont wanna give any spoilers but I like the way a old grandpa was introduced to the game and picked up crafting of all things. Your gonna have to read to find out, but this is easily my favorite crafting litrpg. I even like it more then Master of All.

I absolutely love this book 11/10! There's just something about the crafting and world building that makes it feel so magical and real. I can't put this book down I binged it in a day (7ish chapters as of this review) and I can't wait to read more. I've never read a book from the perspective of an old man and I have to say I prefer it to the rest now. If you're looking for a fun and magical read I'd highly recommend this!

The author isn't able to write in a coherent manner. If you read the story or any of the comment threads, you're able to see that the author does not know how to use proper English. Unfortunate.

So far, I've read up to the leaving chapter (alround chapter 80) , and im loving it. It's a really nice, cozy novel about crafting. I like the characters, and the worldbuilding seems to have a lot of potential. The crafting aspects are nice and get explained thoroughly. I also quite like how this world is set up and how the story is going so far, and how deep this novel goes into topics about crafting. Story wise so far, i think there is no reason to complain, and im looking forward to finishing the novel. Now, onto the only real negative i found so far. The only issue i have with this novel is the grammar in certain places. For example, using "How I said" in places where it should've been "Like i said." These are minor things, but it happens quite frequently. The story is good enough to be able to look past that for me, but i still figured i should mention it. Besides this example, there are other grammatical errors that come from translating the novel that dont really sound right in english. There are also spelling mistakes here and there that often dont get corrected, but this doesnt happen a lot. But these are things that i think personally you should try to look past and still be able to enjoy the novel. I think these mistakes are all pretty normal, and this is still pretty well written, especially when compared to some other novels written by a non native english speaker. Overall, I would recommend reading this novel if you like stories that delve deeper into the crafting aspect rather than the combat aspect of such worlds. Please give it a shot, and try to look past any grammatical mistakes.

I started reading this around the time it was at chapter 100. After reading what was free I stopped but coming back to it a month ago and rereading it I know that was a mistake. The only complaint I have is that I can't get a physical copy of the book.

I read this novel a long time ago and it's story and writing always stuck with me to the point where I had to come back and re-read the story from scratch. A story where there's no part I want to skip, the slow pace is perfect for how I enjoy novels, but probably not everyone's taste. From the beginning the titular "game" is setup as more of a second world than a classic game-game. Some reviews take this as a negative but rereading the story it's astonishing how quickly the author sets up the eventual twist of the novel - delicious.

This book is perhaps best compared to 'Reincarnated as a Slime', a lot of investment in world building, slowly and cooperatively building things up, later putting in more conflict. All in all a nice comparatively relaxed, but still fun and engaging story.

Was genuinely one of the most refreshing web novels I have read. It takes a great angle on the by now classic game system/alternate world genre. The clear respect and research that has gone into the detail necessary to portray the character as a crafts master is commendable. I have put this novel down multiple times but whenever I have felt like reading again this is always one of the first I pick back up. It saddens me to see that it's been stuck at chapter 788 for a while now and I hope to be able to follow Benjamin along the rest of his journey. I see a lot of reviews complain about the "pacing issues" of the book and while at times it might be a little stale it has to be understood that this is a novel that doves deeper than your average super OP mc that has a game system or whatever. Those that cannot appreciate the explanation of the crafting process of a major item that spans multiple chapters are simply not reading the right novel for them and that's okay. Keep up the amazing work and don't get discouraged! (If it means anything I have never left or felt the need to leave a comment or review on anything on the internet really but this deserves the necessary praise)

honestly so impressive, the start definitely has some pacing issues, but now that I've gotten farther in the story really starts to have an interesting twist and I hope I'm able to see more, the crafting is also not as boring as I though as it seems thoroughly detailed and pretty easy to visualize what he is doing so it's pretty nice. However I just wish to leave a warning that this story does not focus on fast paced action and as such is more about the characters who do seem to be pretty realistic to the point I get frustrated with how dumb humans are at times

For many years I have checked this website for reviews and usually they are pretty accurate. But I have to say the positive reviews for this LN are so overrated I had to make an account for the first just to correct them. This thing was excruciating to read. The first 50 chapters are virtually word for word him doing the exact same thing 5 times over. Nothing happens, there is no conflict. The characters are bland and 1 dimensional. There is no story at all. It's literally a description of someone doing the same MMO daily quest. I got 100 chapters in under the premise all the reviews said it would get better. But it does not. There is nothing about this LN that is even remotely interesting.

Good enough, good characters I like the story But there are some problems Too many unnecessary bits and too unnecessarily slow Like, it's satisfying to see crafting in detail, but it's repetitive and boring. It repeat in a cycle until there's no more joy in reading him craft things You should know when to write detail and when to NOT write in details Sometimes it's better to skip things and not focus on them You should know what parts of the story are not needed

honestly I don't have any qualms with this book at all. it's an amazing book overall and I can't find any significant faults in it. not that I actively look. Now for the spoiler part. so you've been warned. the Mc is a 70ish year old craftsman who ends up getting injured in an accident. he's approached by an up and coming vr company, requesting his expertise on the many crafts. later on he's given the chance to play the game as one of the 5 'originals' or "the 5 that peaked" This novel focuses on crafts. ie: blacksmithing, tailoring, cooking, leather working, mining, and farming and all the in-between. But it's not so focused on crafts that it's boring which is really hard to do. Note that my spoiler isn't very on dept, and can be deduced from the synopsis it still counts so yeah. read and enjoy or move on and don't your choice. 🙃

I have passed this novel several times that I have seen over the last two years. Now I have decided to read it. I hope it is as good as the reviews. I will be commenting under this review once in a while to update new readers how the novel is. Rating this 3 stars for now. If the novel really suprises me then I don’t mind supporting the book just like RSSG, pocket dimension, infinite mana in the apocalypse and also my favourite system novel - The strongest system 😀
