I see, so suddenness and backstory are the issues. Well, looking at it from that perspective I do kinda get it, tho one of the two issues you mentioned will be fixed later as, for reasons I can't mention, more of this man's backstory will be revealed.

Looks like my previous reply was shadow banned so I'll just answer it with no 'humor.' It'll be a minimum of six volumes a maximum of ten. A minimum of 1k chapters a maximum of around 1.5k. The minimum is what I'll definently write, no matter how bad my stats get, while the max depends on the future.
I've done something that hits much harder later so watch out for that. Btw, send down a review, would appreciate it.

I don't know if this is your thoery or conclusion, but let me tell you now, Johnson, now known as Maria, never manipulated his corruption or embodiment, that's impossible. What 'He' did however, was wipe his memories and steer him in a path of 'His' own choosing. The goal behind that is unknown for now, but you can guess, judging by the common theme of my novel. Now about the messages, they'll be in the background, quietly occuring until the moment where they would make the biggest of impacts.
