Normally I’d agree, but the thing is that this AU has a new official position of balance that manages the supreme kais and gods of destruction. It wouldn’t make sense for MC to be the only Buddha. Also, the MC hasn’t had a single tough fight since Cooler, unless he fights Beerus or an angel then nobody would be able to put up a decent fight. MC is too strong for the tournament of power, even the Gods of Destruction aside from Beerus probably aren’t his match. For there to be an interesting fight, an OC is necessary.
