Try creating levels of understanding of daos and show the progress whenever he improves in percentage or something else, it's more interesting that way honestly and u can put a track on his understandings of different dao in this way. Also i think he should also have some dao side by side , u know it's better to act as a sheep in some cases and not show around his space dao always, i think these daos would be perfect - Fire Alchemy Formation Forging Space Time ( i mean these are already his expertise, except time which u wanna introduce later) --------------------------------- Chaos (obvious) destruction ( it's f**king cool) devour (my personal favourite, add it if u see fit, and can tremendously help in the later stages if your work goes that far ,🙏 i hope it does) yin-yang ( a common hax for most MCs, and can be cultivated while dual cultivation) wood (may help in growing herbs and Alchemy 🤷) u can also simply go for 5 elements ( it takes all elements into consideration)
but keep it in moderation, cuz if u are gonna compensate him for every opportunity taken from him then it would feel annoying, the way it is currently going is good so far.

it's good but annoying how u made the mc heal for so long but others can heal in just days and breakthrough at the same time, if you think you are making the mc too strong too quick, don't worry atley for me that's what I want to see and u can just make him act weak if it's required to achieve his goal, but only if the situation is suitable, also he has the best constitution I don't think just anyone should be able to perceive his realm, it should always come with some passive buffs, which can also give him a pass to any secret realm restrictions .
