I skimmed the next few chapters and it doesn’t get better. I don’t know what a happened but the pacing is too fast, the system is just gone, and the story is disconnected from when the writing was good. It’s a shame but I’m dropping this now.
This is all some janky illusion Dean fell under right? This isn’t actually how the story is going to be from now on . . . right?
Huh? Several days? But he had to leave to the Duchy “tomorrow”? Is this some kind of illusion?
After several days, the team returned from their in-depth exploration of Ghostly Valley. The lead teacher looked exhausted, but his eyes gleamed with excitement.

A thousand? Well if you hunt about 50 skeletons per day that would make it 20 days to upgrade your slime. Asumming you sell half of your spoils, it still only requires 40 days. Even if you take weekends off that’s still only about 50 days. Not to mention that the slime would be getting stronger as you feed it. Even if you had an error margin of 10 days because of something unexpected happening it would only take 2 months to evolve the slime.
However, the method that Zen's father was about to do is something extravagant. If I were to evolve my slime with just the essence crystals from undead skeletons, then I would need to hunt about a thousand of them before reaching the required energy level.

It seems items S-Rank and above are just crazy OP.

He would just make enemies if he taught other’s spells to his students. Knowledge of higher-level spells isn’t allowed to be passed on without permission.
Unfortunately, this method of comprehension didn't grant him the tenfold insight and power he had hoped for. His understanding of the spell was merely on par with Horton Martin's.

The 3k is the cost of the talismans.
The maid glanced at the card and smiled, "For the basic talismans across five elements, the total comes to 3,250 gold coins. We'll round it down to 3,000 gold coins for you. The Wind Spirit Sword Scroll is 70,000 gold coins, so after deducting the 30,000 from your card, that leaves 43,000 gold coins."

Well in the long run it somewhat makes sense. It’s not like the MC alone can maintain safety for Earth and surely he wouldn’t want to constantly be fighting monsters. So it makes sense that he wouldn’t hoard all the rewards so that humanity as a whole would still improve and he wouldn’t have to be burdened to save Earth alone.
Moreover, only the first player to complete the class change request across the entire server would receive a special reward, and John wasn't keen on stealing Helena's thunder, so he preferred to take his time.

HP recovery/hour is wrong here. It should be 0.04.
Strength is used to represent raw physical capabilities, such as lifting weights or punching harder. It increases the HP recovery/hour by 0,05 (STR*0,005) and gives +1 Inventory Slots for every 10 points.

Something changed. For the first 200 chapters I loved this novel. However, after Chapter 200, the quality drastically drops. - The pacing becomes way too fast - The story reads as if a different writer started writing this and they didn’t even bother to read the previous chapters. - Dean just gets a new personality and previous characters are just gone (system is gone too) The novel sucks now, but those first 200 chapters are still great.
