Turns out the technique takes the caster's levels and attributes when the technique is released, and feeds off of Nature Chakra to create and maintain most of the technique. It also nourishes the chakra of everyone who is not of the caster. Mom, dad, and Kurama's weren't included in that, so I got to spend the equivalent of around four years with my parents.

I would be gaining negative levels as soon as more than one person went in there at my current level of strength. And I would need to sacrifice chakra and vitality to maintain it after my levels reduced. I would also lose all of my current ability bonuses and title bonuses to compensate for the lack of levels. A big one being the one I gained from aging three years in my sleep. I wouldn't de-age, though. Thankfully.

It was no use. The Lord Third Hokage was pronounced dead at 21:38 on the fifteenth day of the sixth moon. He died with a smile on his face. Tsunade didn't know whether to laugh, cry, or punch the old man's corpse into the moon. I did both of the former. Jiraiya began to laugh before crying with me, and eventually Tsunade did the same. It was sad, awkward, and hilarious. There was no right way to react to this.
