If Garp was already furious before seeing almost his granddaughter hit by friendly fire, seeing Ace captured and even hearing that Sengoku with the 5 elders had planned his public execution left him quite angry and even melancholic, being unable to do anything about it.

ok an advice, I don't know how much abou finance you know mr author, but you could have john mantain all the shares and only offer dividends to managements and potential partners since giving away shares is mostly when you need investment. to maintain managers loyalty and work ethic and to make economicañ alliances, giving away dividends(share of the net profit) is enought

the whole chapter was illogical he should have informed his superiors early, you forgot that yamanaka exist and they would have discovered everything else and this without considering informing them when he noticed the meeting ... I understand you needed to do this for plot but it is a big fat inconsistency
