This book will contain sayings and learnings that I have encountered and learned throughout the years.

This is just me writing down what is on my head.

Blue turned the past mode off in her system. She was hoping in another type of dream. A type were she could see her long lost happy past. She yearned for those memories of her parents, from when they were still alive. Its been eleven years since that dreadful day. They died in a car crash on her eight birthday. Since then Blue never truly laughed and she also neither lied to anyone anymore. Because when she was eight she had feigned sickness in order to get her favorite toy. Blue was feeling a bit lonely so she wanted to dream of that past even If it was painful. 

The night was still young when Blue went to sleep, amidst her feverish dreams of the past one was clearly remembered by her when she actually woke up. 
The  feverish dream it  was the  story of a black starry  wolf with jet black eyes and  a pure white angelic rabbit with ruby colored eyes. 
As the story processed she found herself in stunningly beautiful bucolic scenery. Three elements ruled in the area. A crystal clear blue lake, a vivid green forest and the crossroad. She instinctively knew that one road lead to the wolf and the other to the rabbit.Both rather enchanting creatures that were full of charisma. The idea of meeting either of them made her tremble with excitement, which one too choose she was confused.So  she  sat right in the middle of the crossroad admiring the beauty of the scene.

Suddenly she heard a voice that was coming from the clear blue sky. "You must choose hurry up...". As the authoritive voice nudged her to choose, she had no choice she stood up and paid attention  to the roads once again. 

The wolf was beautiful but a bit scary so she thought "I will go to the rabbits way. Rabbits are cute and harmless after all ". 
As she was about to make the first step she woke up from her dream drenched in sweat and feeling exhausted. 

"What a weird dream ". Blue thought. 
It left a deep impression  in her. The black starry  wolf with his enchanting eyes and the pure white rabbit with his ruby red eyes. 
" How do I know this details I never saw them in my dream ".she wondered. 

Anyway it was time for work and she was getting a bit late, so she quickly got dressed and off the door to her car. 
She had a small cute orange car. Orange was not her favorite color, but when her parents were still alive, loved this color so much, that  they bought this car for Blue's eighteen birthday. The car was old but still Blue acquired it only last year. She was 19 this  year, quite young but quite capable.

Blue had earned her psychology degree in the previous 4 years and was about to enter on a new field in programming. 

Blue was a stunning beauty, her blue black hair her cherry like lips and her almond color eyes made her seem like a doll. However in all these years she had never fallen in love. Blue knew what love was, she had learned it from old world books, and she deeply yearned for it.

 The books mysteriously started appearing in her inventory when she was eight the first one was actually given to her on her eight birthday. The day her parents died she never read that one. However, in her inventory she had the world's biggest treasure of books, songs, quotes and art that accumulated all these years. Those gave her the courage needed to continue living, those gave her hope. 

She was sure she would find it one day this so called love she was sure. What she did not expect that today would be the day that the small God of love would pierce her heart. 

Blue was working as a cashier today. It was her  part time job in order to earn merit points. It was one of the boring professions that the government thought it needed a human touch to please the customer. So here she was on her job trying to be pleasant. 
When here comes the chief cashier with a boy that looked her age. 

The boy was so handsome he had jet black hair and eyes. He was the classic handsome guy that looks like a model. A bit thin and quite tall. He wore a white shirt and black pants accompanied by black boots. Blue was stunned and her heart started beating a bit faster  . 
The chief cashier that was accompanying him introduced them. 

When blue touched his hand she was electrified she closed her eyes and she  actually made an inaudible moan. The boy was staring wildly with his eyes suddenly widen. 
"She was beautiful indeed  "he thought" but quite odd." 

Blue suddenly turned the other way smiled a bit and thought "I bet this is how love feels".
The boy and the chief were wondering . What has actually happened why does she act so strange. 

Blue turned again towards them and said boldly " Do not worry Chief I will take care of him."

A love triangle between Blue, Orange and Angelos. Who will she choose the so called devilish wolf or  the angelic rabbit.Follow the story of Blue and her two destined lovers to figure out her choice.

Li Du laughed out loud in the face of suspicion and said, "How could that be?"
"Why not? You're driving a pickup truck," someone said.
A gem hunter who was about to enter the National Park said, "Hey, Old Charlie, don't you seek trouble. We all know this guy won't do that. He's a righteous person!"
Someone next to him said, "Yah, if it weren't for Boy Wonder, God knows how much money Christopher and those sons of b*tches would have gotten away with that time!"
"He didn't only do this. He also helped to pay for unlucky old Deckard."
Li Du nodded his thanks. He was grateful for these gem hunters speaking up for him, even though he didn't know them.
A bald black man extended his hand to him. "You've our respect, Boy Wonder from Flagstaff."
There were some of them who still treated Li Du with disdain. One of them sneered. "He's so righteous, just like that generous Apostle Peter."
Apostle Peter was an important figure in the Bible and a cornerstone leader of Christianity.
This hunter was making a reference to the Bible: before he was arrested, Jesus had prophesied that Peter would perform three consecutive acts of denial of him before the rooster crowed.
As a result, when he was asked at Jesus' trial, due to fear, he had denied his relationship with Jesus a total of three times.
Peter had always been regretful about this. Later, when he was martyred in Rome, he asked the executioner to hang him up on the cross upside down, because he was unworthy be crucified the same way as Jesus.
After Jesus's resurrection, in response to Peter's denial of him thrice, he asked Peter thrice to feed his followers and be a generous, righteous person.
However, the reference of Apostle Peter as someone generous was often used in sarcasm, because his generosity was conditional and had been demanded by Jesus.
Li Du was not a Christian and was not familiar with the Bible, so he didn't understand the sarcasm.
But some others had understood the meaning behind his words. The bald man glared at the sneering man in fury. "It's despicable to unreasonably regard a person's kindness. This is despicable. This is really despicable."
"Who are you calling despicable?" The hunter was riled up and consumed in anger.
The bald man looked at him with just as much fury in his eyes. "What do you think? Who else could I be talking about other than you? What now, wanna pick a fight?"
Li Du stopped him with a smile. "Those who are despicable usually pass through life being the same way. Those who are morally upright have an epitaph that states exactly that. Why should we bother with what these unimportant people say?"
The bald treasure hunter looked at him and said, "Buddy, you helped a lot of people the last time. All of us saw, and we are grateful to you. I hope you won't misunderstand the whole group just because of these few senseless people."
"Of course not. Gem hunters are just like us treasure hunters. When the forest's a large one, there's bound to be all kinds of birds. On the whole, most are good folks," Li Du said.
Someone applauded. "You really can spout literary gold: 'Those who are despicable usually pass through life being the same way, those who are morally upright have an epitaph that states exactly that; when the forest's a large one, there's bound to be all kinds of birds.' Haha, these sayings are very interesting."
All Li Du did was translate some Chinese idioms. He didn't deserve to be praised.
After having been pestered at the door for a while, he drove into the National Park.
As usual, the security guard inspected his car to prevent any prohibited items such as small stone excavating machines and conveyors from being brought into the park.
There was no issue, so they followed the security officer to the selected plot of gravel bank.
After arriving, Godzilla and Brother Wolf began to encircle the area with ropes. This was a necessary preparation before they started work.
According to regulations, the rope demarcated the land they had leased. They could only look for gems on that land.
In addition to encircling the land, Godzilla also used the rope to divide the land into squares. This was Li Du's reference of choice, so that the little bug could search square by square.
He had chosen these acres of land carefully. There was a higher number of fire opals on the land.
At the National Park, Li Du felt as though he were a dragon entering a gold mine with treasures all around. He searched carefully and within minutes he found a fire opal.
With this gain, he was beginning to understand. Why would he want to still bid for storage units? He could just stay put and search for fire opals. The truth was, the gains he made searching for fire opals for a day were more than what he could get from treasure hunting in storage units in a month.
He was working happily when Brother Wolf strided over and said, "Boss, there's another."
Li Du looked at the sky and saw a familiar little black shadow.
This time, the other party was very cautious. The drone was flying very high and was moving constantly. Unless they used professional shooting weapons, they would not be able to knock it down.
Li Du swore out loud and then asked, "Are you able to shoot it down again?"
Brother Wolf said, "Not now. Give me time. Making an aerogun would not be a problem."
Li Du was shocked. "You can make an aerogun?"
Brother Wolf tried to explain. "It's not the aerogun that you know. Only by using a high-pressured barrel to shoot can we only deal with these civilian drones."
This was very amazing. Now Li Du understood why countries were so strict about keeping an eye on retired members of the special forces–they were literally walking weapons.
He asked Brother Wolf how long it would take him to make it. He replied saying that he would need to search for tools and materials–it would take more than a fortnight. That was far too long. It wouldn't be of use at all. Li Du shook his head and vetoed his suggestion. In that case, he might as well use the little bug to destroy the drone.
Of course, this might not be a good strategy because the other party obviously had more than one drone. He may have destroyed it once, but may not be able to this time.
Otherwise, if a normal drone were to crash upon flying near to the top of his head, many people would suspect trickery. 
Fortunately, with monitoring taking place from such a height, the other party could not see what he was doing–probably only their shadows.
After all, the drone was carrying only a common camera, not military UAV search radar.
Li Du propped the umbrella up so that even if there was radar on the drone, it would be useless unless the cameras had perspective power.
The harvest in the afternoon was aplenty. The flying bug continued to sweep the two and a half-acre plot. He found hundreds of good quality fire opals, which were worth tens of millions of dollars in total.
With the setting sun came nightfall.
Li Du beckoned for Godzilla and Brother Wolf to prepare for dinner. Ivana was enthusiastically sitting beside her father's bonfire. She had Ah Meow in her left hand, and Crispy Noodles in her right as she waited for her meal.
After getting some ingredients from the truck, Li Du walked back and asked, "Tonight I'm going to roast something and braise a little something. Is there a better way to make a stove?"
Brother Wolf nodded. "Yes, a sheltered fireplace."
Li Du asked, "Is it complicated to make?"
Brother Wolf said, "Leave it to me. Just happens that the terrain here suits."
He went to a nearby hill and dug a large square pit at the bottom of the sheltered slope.
The pit was about 10 inches deep and the width was over a yard. Using branches, steel wire and a tent pole, Brother Wolf quickly created a tripod.
The pot was then hung onto the rack, with dry wood and smoke-free carbon placed into the pit. The outdoor stove was ready.


They love gold, and they love silver. Even more so, they love gems that dazzle, like stars across the skies. 
Firearms, jewelleries, and precious metals; A collector’s world will not be complete without antiques.  
Storage auctions, old goods trade, re-estate sales and gold-digging. But the truth is, if one wants to make money, then the supreme way is through searching for the legendary treasures. 
Holding the fort, there’s an ocelot, a wolf, and an Andes condor. At the side, there’s a loyal hound, an irascible ape, and an African honey badger. Who said that you can only rely on humans when treasure hunting?! 

Villa 7

Louie and his friends are having their breakfast at the garden; this became his morning routine a few weeks ago after the Vallini's occupied the Villa 8. He loves to eat his breakfast at the garden for he can listen to the morning music being played from his neighbor, even though he didn't know who is playing of whatever instrument it is….. The only thing he likes the most is the free music. Last night is a quite joyful for him, it seems that the Vallini's have guest for they played too many songs and for him and to his friends they thought that there is a mini concert at that Villa. 

Now they can hear a piano being played; "Love Affair by Ennio Morricone" Yuan blurted out. "What did you say?" Ethan ask him back; "The title of the music that we can hear is Love Affair by Ennio Morricone" said Yuan. "How did you know?" Ethan asked him again; "It was the music being played by Ms. Luna at the grand piano here at the Villa on the day I went here to ask her to sign the divorce paper. She played it skillfully and her tears are flowing to her face" Yuan informed them. 
Louie stared to Yuan as he spoke to them "Yuan, Am I that bad to Luna? Am I a jerk to her?" Yuan just gave him a faint smile. "All I know Sir is, Ms. Luna loves you so much, she even prepares your lunch which she ask Old Driver Lu to deliver it to you regularly. That is the same lunch whom you ate with Ms. Sofia. She even prepare something for me back then" Yuan informed him. "Why didn't you tell me that it came from Luna" Louie ask Yuan. "Why Louie….Why do Yuan must tell you that….. If you knew it came from Luna will you eat it?" Kim ask him; He just remain silent for they all know the answer to it. Louie just sighed deeply as he can't imagine that he was too cruel to Luna. He didn't appreciate everything she have done for him. 
"Yuan, I would like to work here at home for now. Please go to the office and get all the things that we need to look on especially the documents about the collaboration of my company to the companies of the Vallini's and Vendari's. Ethan and Kim please do stay here also, we still need to get the information about the two hackers" Louie ordered them as he wants to get rid to his brains what Autumn told him yesterday. As Per Louie's order all four of them work together at Villa 7 as they were immerse to their work they didn't know that there will be a surprise awaits for Louie Chen.

Villa 8, Twins Bedroom

The twins just woke up as soon as the early sunshine brighten their room; their room was big enough to accommodate their beds, computers, musical instruments and some books. The twins are geniuses at the age of 4, they are the brains of hacking of HADES and since the name of the organization is HADES their code names are named after the children of the Greek God HADES. Amber and Scarlet trained both of them to become a professional hackers but the adults didn't realized that they become too powerful children in the computer world. 

"Any updates to our work yesterday my beautiful sister" Winter ask his sister as his stretch his body as he sits down from his bed. "Nope my handsome brother" Dawn answered her brother; "Let's freshen up first and eat our breakfast and do our tricks to our so called "FATHER" what do you think?" Winter questioned again his brother….. And Dawn look to his brothers eyes as they seemed have a connection and suddenly an evil laugh and giggles was heard to their room. 

As the twins get themselves ready and went to ate their breakfast, they already knew that the adults are very busy to their own works and since they don't go to school in this City, both of them asked permission to their mother that they have to go their room as they need to practice for their performance to the event their elders are planning. But at the back of their mind they want to give Louie Chen a headache…. A headache without cure nor can't be cured... The evil smile can be seen to their faces. "Bunnies, be lenient to whatever you will do….. Don't be cruel" Ryder reminded them as he can feel the evil deeds of the twins. The twins giggled and nod the head.

TWINS BEDROOM

Sitting in the chair and facing two big screens each. The twins are immersed to their work, Dawn is busy composing puzzle quotes and sayings while on the other screen she is downloading some songs that is especially dedicated to the unspoken words of their mother to Louie Chen. While Winter is busy encoding some codes, he wants to penetrate the security system of the Chen Corporation and on the other screen is the satellite images of Villa 7. 

Dawn: "Handsome brother, didn't mom told us that one of the songs she dedicate to our so called father is "Say You'll Never Go by NEOCOLOURS". Winter nodded.

Winter: "Try downloading the song It's wrong for me to stay and love you by Pia Zadora I think it's one of the proper song for them…. For mom's message to him try sending some mom's pictures when she is pregnant with us". 

Dawn: hhhmmmmmI think I'll just put the lyrics also. Winter nodded.

As Dawn made a video presentation of their mother together with their baby pictures, from the sonogram to the time of pregnancy up to the time of their birth….. Everything is included but the song was kept n repeating. Dawn is cruel when it comes to rocking someone's brain.

Dawn: brother look at the piece of art that I've made, do I still need to put some other things?

Winter watch the presentation and read the letter, "I'm not satisfied my beautiful sister" he told his sister as he wants to add more flame. "You add the one I've made okay" he added. Dawn waited for her brothers' art material and when she added the letter and the song she giggled as it looks like she was torturing someone.

The message that Winter made states that: "It's not easy to heal the pain, Love has broken many people's hearts, you've broken my heart into bits of pieces. But how many is many? Could it be as often as bringing your sick, tired and broken heart to the tailor to be mended? Whatever it could be, but for sure, my heart could never be.

On a cold winters night the only sound of a violin playing a very popular song. The servants knew that the Madam of the house is lonely again. It's Christmas and yet their master is having fun with his mistress... 

This will be the day you will regret everything, Louie Chen... You, your family and my family, 
will regret it... And when that day comes I'm no longer the person you have met... 

The documents have been signed and it is already on the nightstand table; the divorce papers; the agreement documents that he can't take anything from her whether it is a living or non-living thing. The only treasures that she has are her violin, flute, the necklace with infinity pendant that her grandfather gave to her, and her sketchbooks.

She doesn't want anything from him, and his family. She will leave everything that he bought for her..... From clothes, shoes to pieces of jewelry... She doesn't want any alimony. 

All the servants help her packed her things; even though she only got 2 bags. She gave them a simple gift from her as they become her family even though it is not blood-related. 

At exactly midnight Luna left the Chen Mansion... She hailed a taxi and went directly to a train station. She will be going to City F; from there she will start her new life.

Three days had passed since the day 
Akash killed the barren giant.He woke up at 5 A.m. to the sound of his alarm and quickly went to freshen up,getting ready for his morning run.He wore a blue tracksuit quickly and by the time he was done getting ready the clock had reached 5:30.He kept his yoga mat in a bag and left it at the main gate.He went to the living room and searched the cabinet for the key to the house.He opened the lock and placed the key back from where he took it.
He then went to his sister's room to wake her up so that she could close the door.He said while shaking her,"Hey!...Sis!.Wake up,wake up.Come close the door quick or I'll be late and my spot will be taken.Hey! don't go back to sleeping again.Come close the door."
She opened her eyes drowsily and woke up with a start after being shaken.She reluctantly went to close the door from inside while grumbling that he was at his old game again.He would at first be all pumped up and filled with resolve to change his lifestyle to a healthier one but after experiencing hardship for a day or two will go back to being like a sloth,lying around lazily on the bed, refusing doing any chores, wanting to spend time in leisure.Akash ignored her grumbling and quickly moved past the gate and after watching her close the door properly,he left towards DDA park.
The park was quite close to his home with about 1.5 Km between both of them,just the right distance for a light morning jog.He had started to like jogging in the morning.Breathing fresh air in the morning felt good and it felt particularly nice when the cold breeze caressed the face.He felt like he could concentrate much better than normal in such an environment.The areas he passed by on the route to the park were very different from 2 years ago when he used to go to the park with his cousin.Almost everything had changed except a few familiar places.The shop which used to be a fast food store had changed into a general store.The black coloured dog that barked at everyone from the balcony of a house was no longer there.Akash heaved a sigh when he couldn't find all the sights familiar to him but at least the temple of goddess Durga was still there.Akash held his hands together to pray before continuing his jog towards the park.
It was at 6 that he reached the park.A lot of people had gathered by then and they had started doing yoga.Akash took out his yoga mat and joined the others in doing yoga.
Yoga was the excercise he had decided on in the end after researching various activities as he felt that it led to the best possible all around development of the body that he found necessary to improve health.Yoga was a gem that was perfected by sadhus in ancient India and could be described as a healthy way of life.Yoga could induce the harmony of body,mind and spirit.Yoga can lessen chronic pains like lower back pain, arthritis,headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome.It can also lower blood pressure and reduces insomnia,a cause of concern for the former night owl,Akash.It improves the flexibility of the body,reduces weight,increases muscle strength and tone,improves respiration,energy and vitality,maintains balanced metabolism,boosts immune system,improves athletic performance,cardio and circulatory health and the best of all...it helps in managing stress.
As 2020 had turned into a year of calimities there was no lack of people suffering from stress.After all,it was really difficult to stay calm when the whole world had turned into a disaster zone.Even though monster emergence had dwindled through the days,no one knew of their origin even now.Everyone felt scared at the way they inexplicably appeared in the cities.Their dead bodies were being researched on but no news had been released regarding any research results.Akash already had a feeling that the somewhat mystical appearance of monsters in little amounts was not the end.
Akash started with surya namaskar and then switched to tadasan, chakrasan, ardhmatsyendrasan and halasan.He switched between various asanas until about an hour and a half had passed.By the time he had finished,beads of sweat were flowing from his forehead.He felt great even though he was exhausted.He didn't talk with anyone other than greeting everyone when he came.He wasn't familiar with anyone there and thus as per his usual conventions,he left quickly after finishing his exercise.He went back home jogging and rang the bell.
His elder brother opened the door for him and then left for the kitchen.From the looks of it he had woken up not much earlier.He was named Vivek.He was as much of a night owl as Akash,only difference being that he did it for work instead of a hobby.Vivek had started website development early on as a side job while he continued higher studies.
Akash quickly went towards the kitchen to find out what the breakfast was for that day.He found poha(a dish commonly eaten during breakfast in India) in a bowl.He took his share and went to the room to eat.
He looked for news on the computer for any updates regarding the monsters but he found no updates.
He then spent some time reading spiritual scriptures like Bhagavad Gita and Vedas for self fulfillment.He found that reading these scriptures helped him greatly.He felt like his soul was being cleaned by reading such scriptures.Some quotes which he felt that had a great impact on him were:
"You are what you believe in. You become that which you believe you can become."
"Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is."
"It is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else's life with perfection."
These quotes motivated him that if he believed,he could change from his lazy lifestyle to a healthy one,that he could be more than a burden on his parents,a liability to society.Even though he had not seen much of the world,novels did display plenty cruel and heartless depictions of reality.He knew that even though reality was not as extreme as depicted in novels,there was still no difference in the way it worked.He knew that with his introverted nature and lack of confidence that if he didn't change he would have difficulty achieving an average quality of life as he was not exceptional at anything.He had already lost hope after failing at changing many times in the past.Hesitation always took grip on him if he tried doing something new and after sometime he was back to square one being his lazy old self.But now he had confidence that he could change...that he would change.
Akash felt both sad and guilty as he felt that if he had warned the school guard instead of hiding quickly like a tortoise in the generator room his life could have been saved.After all,the only reason the guard came to check the school from his post beside the school gate was because the sounds that came when Akash blinded the barren giant.If Akash had taken the slightest risk perhaps nothing would have happened to the guard.
Akash was torn by such feelings of guilt but another quote from gita comforted him.
"The embodied soul is eternal in existence, indestructible, and infinite, only the material body is factually perishable."
When Akash felt worried regarding his future and the safety of his family, he always felt like he was at an impasse.He knew he was still too small to worry about his future and that he would still have the support of his family no matter what, he didn't want anyone to go through difficulties for his sake.He found his path as he learnt from Bhagavad Gita.
"Whatever happened was good,
What is happening is going well,
Whatever will happen will also be good.
You need not have regards from the past.
Don't worry for the future.
Live in the present"
He didn't stop reading webnovels completely but still restricted the time he spent doing so.He spent time studying as the expected date for board exams according to conventions was coming closer but he had no idea when they will take place or if they will take place or not.His school was already closed till further notice because of the monster incident.So he decided to study on his own so that he would be ready by the time the exams take place.He went back to sleep at 2p.m. to provide rest to the body, even though it was already considerably stronger compared to the past due to the three stat points.
Akash closed his eyes and slowly drifted to sleep.The dream of himself as a lizard like creature came back after two days.He felt a bit different this time he entered this dream.He felt that his perception regarding what the lizard like creature felt had gotten much stronger compared to before.Previously even though he felt the movements of the lizard like creature,he couldn't actively follow them or understand how it moved properly.But now he felt that he could see how the centre of gravity of the lizard like creature changed throughout its movements and how it exerted force with better clarity.The scene of the dream was different yet the same,as even though he could make sense that the lizard was in a different region from previous regions, there wasn't much difference.This time the lizard like creature was fighting a giant grey coloured wolf pack leader instead of blue like previous one even though the size was the same.Akash could hear the various sound from both the lizard like creature and the weird wolf but strangely he just couldn't understand what they were speaking.It was like watching a movie without sound or subtitles.Even though he felt excited that he could use and learn techniques of using the spear adeptly from the lizard, he also felt frustrated at not being able to find out what they were talking about as he had the feeling that if he could understand their conversation it would have a positive impact on his future life but there was nothing he could do except watching and feeling the shifting force in the muscles of the lizardman, watching as it slayed the pack of wolves one by one while dodging attacks of over 30 wolves.Akash was sure by the impacts made by the wolves that if he hid in a car to escape from them, even one of them might be enough to tear both the car and him apart.Akash watched with fascination as the lizard like creature dodged each attack of the wolves as if he was a dancing with them and dealt with all of them without breaking a sweat.The moves of the lizard were clean and crisp without the slightest delay and with a perfect timing as if he was in control throughout the fight.The only problem Akash had after watching the fight was that this time the lizard like creature had also used its tail during the attacks which was not replicable for him.He found out that learning by replicating the spear moves of the lizard was not an option for him as they had different body structures and thus he would have to change the spear techniques into one more suited for him.This pack of wolves did not seem to have a leader as strong as the one present in his previous dream.That wolve had materialised something like a wind blade at its claws, a trait that differentiated it from the other wolves but the pack leader in this dream was not much different compared to normal wolves other than appearing a bit bigger and more ferocious compared to other wolves.As such the fight came to an end very fast as there was a large disparity in strength between the grey wolf pack leader and lizard like creature and the lizard won in a very brief period of time.

Akash lived an introverted life as a homebody but he was still very satisfied.He didn't have any special points or unique qualities but he was still above average in studies.His favourite hobby was reading novels which seemed to have become the activity he spent most of his time on everyday.He thought his lifestyle would continue to be the same in the future but such a lifestyle soon came to an end in December,2020.Everything changed when the invasion happended.Monsters stormed earth and wreaked havoc,ending a third of the total population.The situation was finally turning better with the arrival of the system.It gave humans the ability of counter attacking and shifted the battlefield from our cities to the places from which monsters appeared from.Americans called the system Guardian and thus it came to be called guardian internationally.In this way,the smooth life came to an end and Akash had to adapt to a rapidly changing society and grow stronger to survive and safeguard his family.Fortunately he had something to rely on.

Jiang Chen could alone control the three forces of fire, wind, and lightning. But every force would consume a part of his power, and that was why he couldn't release their might completely. However, it would be a different case if he coordinated with the magical clones. Three Jiang Chens corresponded to three forces, and every force's might neared the pinnacle. Once such forces were fused, an intense reaction would occur. The three Jiang Chens used their Supreme Will's power at the same time, and they possessed a might great enough to destroy the world.
"You will end up dead like this."
Xiao Jiantian discerned something, and fright appeared on his face, while he still shouted anxiously. The other people watching this scene also felt a great sense of crisis.
The three Jiang Chens' energy beams formed a splendid layer of clouds that was wreaking havoc on the land. Once they exploded, everyone present here would be harmed.
"It's just a bluff. That's right, this is surely the case." The Young Human Emperor panicked, and his face became filled with disbelief. However, Jiang Chen still went toward the Young Human Emperor, while he strove hard to condense the Void Divine Wind, Solar Golden Flame, and Du Tian Divine Lightning, and form a sword with them. This wasn't an easy matter, and even though the three Jiang Chens used their Supreme Will's power, they still found this too strenuous.
If the power of Jiang Chen's Supreme Will could rise by just one more level, it would have been easy for him to achieve this. At this moment, the condensed sword was illusory and unstable, and it seemed like it would scatter at any moment.
Xiao Qin and her six companions who faced the sword had complex feelings about this. They didn't know whether they should hope that Jiang Chen's condensation would fail or succeed. After the seven people finished analyzing this with great difficulty, they realized that it didn't matter whether he succeeded or failed, and the important point was whether they would be affected and harmed by it. This was why the seven people separated and fled. Such a majestic force wouldn't be able to lock into an enemy's aura and pursue him, and, if this had been possible, it would have been too outrageous.
However, Jiang Chen's sword still had an advantage, and that was its large scope. Jiang Chen didn't point his sword at the Young Human Emperor who he hated the most, because he was aware that it was only his External Body that was here, and he wanted to first kill Po Xie, who had spoken maliciously about him.
When Po Xie detected the sword's might, his face turned pale with fright, and he started cursing. "You should face him with me, so that he suffers a backlash and ends up dead," Po Xie quickly called over his companions. But his companions' response was quite blunt. It's only a fool that would face him with you.
Jiang Chen's strike was no joking matter, and he didn't even care about his own life.
"Hateful!"
In the end, the sword, which wasn't formed completely, struck the enemy, and, at that moment, the crowd felt like they had gone back to the world's beginning when the primal chaos first exploded. The world in front of their eyes was engulfed completely by dazzling light beams. Those light beams possessed a destructive power great enough to kill anyone here, and they seemed more dangerous than the area of the world's fragments.
Bang! Bang! The first people harmed were none other than Jiang Chen's two magical clones. The destructive power borne by them surpassed their limits, and they ended up killed at the same time. As for the main body, he fared a bit better. But his sword still fell out of his hand.
"Ah! I'm not willing to accept this." Po Xie suffered a devastating strike, and he was erased thoroughly. He disappeared wholly from the world!
As for the other people, they didn't fare much better, and the Young Human Emperor's External Body was once again killed.
"It's fortunate that it's only a semi-success." The other people rejoiced. If Jiang Chen's sword technique had failed thoroughly, they would have all died. But, if it succeeded completely, Xiao Qin and her six companions would have died. But a semi-success only killed Po Xie and the Young Human Emperor's External Body, while Xiao Qin and her companions only sustained heavy injuries.
As for Jiang Chen, he was left half alive, and, even though his divine body possessed a strong recovery power, he didn't come back to his senses right away. However, it was fortunate that this was also the case for Xiao Qin and the other people, so they didn't continue attacking Jiang Chen.
"One must behave with integrity and mustn't always act by himself, as he would quickly end up dead."
All of a sudden, another incident occurred. The Wolf Clan youth soared along with the wind, went up to Jiang Chen's side, and waved his great blade at him. The blade shone with a snow-white light, and it seemed too sharp. It seemed as if it were able to easily split open Mysterious Iron as if it was tofu.
Jiang Chen, who wasn't able at this time to guard against anything, ended up suffering a blade strike, and he got a wound that went from his shoulder to his waist.
"What a hard, firm body." The Wolf Clan youth looked quite surprised!
The crowd was confused by the Wolf Clan youth's sudden attack. They knew that a verbal conflict had occurred between them a while ago. But he didn't need to take such an action for it, did he? However, the crowd suddenly recalled that this guy was a monster, and thus they understood everything. Monsters were all ferocious and cruel, and they didn't need a reason to do anything
"Contemptible!" Yiya flew over and caught Jiang Chen as he rolled in the air.
"Xiao Meng?" On the other side, Hou Jue's spoke in a soft voice. It wasn't difficult to discern that Jiang Chen needed help, and since they had come here along with him, should they provide him some help? Xiao Meng replied with her silence, and Hou Jue understood her implication. She wasn't willing to fight.
If one gave this matter consideration, one would realize that this was a reasonable decision because the trouble brought about by Jiang Chen was too great. However, it was only thanks to Jiang Chen that they had managed to overcome the third sister's obstructions.
"You are really a source of trouble." Yiya carried Jiang Chen, inspected his injuries, while still guarding against the Wolf Clan youth.
"Miss Yiya, I don't want to harm you. So please step aside," the Wolf Clan youth said. "However, you have just three seconds to make a choice, and, after it elapses, you may suffer two different consequences."
"I don't need three seconds." Yiya held Jiang Chen tightly, before she replied and flew at her highest speed toward the entrance that had previously been guarded by the Demonic Flood Snake. This was beyond everyone's expectations because they all assumed that this was a sealed region. They had forgotten that they had already dealt with the Demonic Flood Snake.
"Can you escape?" The Wolf Clan youth was confident in himself, and he managed to quickly close in on Yiya.
When Yiya ended up once again in the attack scope of the Wolf Clan youth, a swift wind visible to the naked eye revolved around Yiya's body, and it increased her speed so that soon she was as high as a shooting star.
The Wolf Clan youth could only look on helplessly as the two people in his line of sight distanced themselves from him. Their bodies were becoming smaller and smaller, and this continued until they disappeared.
"Void Divine Wind! Why is that guy so tenacious?" Jiang Chen was heavily injured. Yet he was still useful.
The Wolf Clan youth couldn't understand this matter, as tenacious vitality was one of the Monster Clan's advantages, and people such as Jiang Chen were too rare.
"Who has allowed you to attack?" While the Wolf Clan youth was still getting over his surprise, a resentful voice echoed behind him. When he turned his head, he discovered that Xiao Jiantian and Xiao Meng had brought people with them and come over, wearing unsightly expressions.
They ended up suffering losses while facing a primary-stage Martial Emperor, and they had even ended up sustaining injuries. This was a great humiliation! They wanted to make up for such humiliation by themselves, and they didn't need the Wolf Clan youth to fight for them.
"You still haven't understood what is going on, have you?" The Monster Clan youth wasn't afraid of them, and he even raised a question.
"What?" Xiao Qin didn't understand his question.
"This type of person is called a slaughter freak in our Monster Clan. Its literal interpretation is that he's like a ferocious beast, but its implication is anything but simple," the Monster Clan youth said.
"What's a slaughter freak? Why are you trying to say?" Xiao Jiantian said.
"There are certain sayings passed down in our Monster Clan. One is that once one attacks a slaughter freak, one must kill him in one go or else one won't get a second opportunity, and the only thing one can do is run for one's life."
The Monster Clan youth continued, "I have to ask you, what will you do if Jiang Chen's realm level rises by another level?" Such a question dumbfounded Xiao Qin and the others.
"He, he, at that time, it's him who will look for you, and it isn't you that will seek for revenge," the Monster Clan youth said.
"Humph, is he the only person that will improve, while we will all stay at the same level and wait for him?" Xiao Jiantian snorted coldly, and he didn't acknowledge such a statement. But if one observed Xiao Jiantian carefully, one could discover that restlessness was hidden in the depth of his eyes.

The wind howled loudly between the buildings of the road as the angered white wolf growled increasingly aggressively for each second past. Her demeanour showed hostility, her growls sounded vicious, and her stance slowly changed into that of a beast, standing on three limbs while her remaining arm was pulled back.

It seemed that she was preparing for either a swift rushdown playstyle in order to completely decimate the both of us, or for a volley of strikes that she's hiding behind one of her limbs. All I know was that this is most certainly going to be her last assault against us.

Kyouko, in response, bit onto her right thumb before furiously writing down various runes or symbols on the floor. I hadn't had a single clue as to what it was, but I wasn't going to bother asking about it. Right now, our top priority was to get out of this alive, even if our odds were less than a single percent.

"Gods of the holy moonlight, grant me strength...!"

The white wolf grunted out with stress. Within an instant, both her hair and the fur on her tail and ears started to take on a reddish hue to their appearance. Her eyes also turned from a Sapphire blue into a dark, Ruby red. I have a terrible feeling of what's about to happen after this.

I tried projecting a shield in order to brace myself for the impending attack, but it was met with failure. My body was too damaged to even carry out basic particle manipulation. Kyouko, on the other hand, had at least written half of an essay on the floor using only her blood. Just how much blood does she even have anyways?

And, within a blink of an eye, she disappeared from sight. A loud boom was emmited from where she initially stood, creating a small crater on the spot as well as a shockwave which caused all windows from our vicinity to immediately shatter into a million pieces. It had also blasted us slightly backwards, but we managed to endure it until it started to reside.

Looking up, the white wolf was now ridiculously high up into the sky, where her figure was comparable to that of a pea. However, with each second, her figure only grew bigger and bigger, and it wasn't long until she was less than a few metres directly above us.

"Founders of the Earth, please enable our senses to directly become one with nature!"

Out of nowhere, two plates coming from the Earth suddenly risen up from the ground and headed straight towards the white wolf, trapping her between the two plates. A soft sizzling sound was then heard nearby us, in which I looked down to find out that one of the lines that Kyouko wrote using her blood had begun to disintegrate, before burning out into the air.

Kyouko's eyes were also glowing, enhancing the green colours of her eyes and also slightly illuminating her face as well. After a few moments, the illumination of her eyes also started to degrade overtime before it no longer existed.

However, our efforts at trapping her proved to be insufficient as once we'd thought the battle was over, she started to scrape down huge chunks of the plates trapping her before hopping out. Seeing this, Kyouko tried trapping her again using her earth bending spells, but to no avail. This continued on until Kyouko used up the last of her runes.

"No more spells for you now, little cat!"

The white wolf said mockingly. She then jumped off the wall of a building that she had met up to, straight towards us.

"I blow the both of you into Oblivion until there's nothing left of your worthless existence!"

She said before pulling out a detonator and pressing it. Like a fireworks show, a dozen more guns popped out of nowhere and begun firing at us. The white wolf herself was also shooting at us repeatly using her gun as well.

Before the bullets could reach us, I pulled out every single effort I had in order to rush towards Kyouko and  rapidly project a multitude of shields using the various small rocks that had crumbled out during her counterattack. The projection took its toll onto my mind, and I felt a part of it shatter from within. But nevertheless, I continue projecting until there was nothing left in my hands.

Some bullets managed to get through during my process of projection, while others managed to even pierce through the shields. But for the most part, most of the bullets shot as us were blocked successfully, while those that managed to get through either missed us by a longshot, or only merely grazed us at our arms, legs or cheeks.

Eventually, the onslaught of bullets stopped. My defense that I'd put out was in shambles, with multiple holes pierced through the shields. Some were big enough to even be used as eye holes. Although that wasn't my main focus of this outcome. What was, however, was the fact that we'd managed to survive somehow. I may very well start to believe myself as some kind of God with the insane amount of luck I've been getting throughout the course of me living in this world.

But there was one thing that bothered me. The road was silent. Way too silent. The only things that I could hear were the relieved panting of both Kyouko and me, as well as the soft clicking sound beyond our defense.

Pushing the shields down, I then saw what was the source of that clicking noise. It was the white wolf, now laying on the ground, pathetically clutching her empty gun and pulling the trigger. Her expression showed defeat, and a hint of shame.

I stood up and started approaching her, ever so slightly due to my injuries preventing me from walking straight. Luckily, Kyouko was still well enough in order to help support me, so it didn't take long for us to reach towards her. Realising that she has nothing left in her arsenal, she gently threw her gun away towards us before laying flat on the floor.

"Kill me, kill me now. I have lost both my partner and my pride. Not as a member of the church, but as a White Wolf. I have nothing left to live for in this world."

She said quietly before closing her eyes and waiting for the inevitable. For some reason, seeing her like this kinda reminds me about myself, about the times where I'd fully accept the fact of dying before being saved by someone or something in the nick of time. However, I wasn't going to let the same thing happen to her.

I then used the last of my strengths to project a small knife within my hands. It was brittle, crudely shaped and unsharpened, but it was still enough to kill someone with. However, before I could position it towards her neck, Kyouko stopped me immediately right after I'd projected the knife. She then gave me a shake of her head before grabbing the knife and tossing it away, causing it to break and dissipate into small little blue particles.

Following that, she crouched down towards the white wolf before rubbing her head. I can only wonder what Kyouko is thinking right now, rubbing the head of the person whom tried killing her not too long ago.

"What...what are you doing? Is this some kind of joke to you? Do you find it more appealing to humiliate me rather than to kill me?"

The white wolf protested angrily, pointing her head upwards and glaring at the both of us. Kyouko, however, kept a calm demeanour and softly smiled towards her as well.

"What are you trying to say anyways? In fact, why did you even betray and abandon the one and only place that you can call home, all for a stranger which you've met mere days ago?"

The white wolf questioned Kyouko, her desire to know the truth becoming more and more evident.

"You're right, I did betray the church. However, I did it because I felt that they were being unfair. Or rather, all of us were being unfair to her."

Kyouko responded while pointing towards me. This only caused the white wolf to becoming increasingly angry though.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean? You don't become sympathetic towards the enemy, let alone towards someone whose killed more people that you can imagine. She's the enemy! And she's the sole reason as to why we're all fighting in the first place!"

The white wolf shouted back, frustrated with the reasonings of Kyouko. Despite her outburst, Kyouko still remained calm, but now looked towards her with more seriousness.

"No, you're wrong. We've all assumed that she's the one responsible for causing the Calamity War, but that's wrong. There isn't any solid proof which shows that she's the one who wiped out half of all living beings in this world. Even if she truly is the one, what purpose does it serve to continuously attack and provoke her? It's all in the past, and doing things like this will only cause history to repeat itself."

Kyouko calmly, but strictly replied to the white wolf, who was baffled by the words coming out of her mouth. 

"That's why we have to kill her as soon as possible! There's no telling when she'll lose control of herself. But before she does, we can stop history from repeating itself by eliminating her out of the equation. If there's no god left on this world to threaten out peace, then there's no chance for a second Calamity War from occuring!"

The white wolf shouted back one last time before her voice started to turn break down, turning her once fierce rants into nothing more than the sad barks of a wolf without fangs to bare.

"And who's to say she won't come back right after she dies?"

From this simple sentence, the white wolf widen her eyes in surprise and realisation.

"I don't doubt that we've managed to eliminate a god or two in the past. But the matter of the fact stands that no matter how hard we try, we can never even hope to kill a celestial entity. That's why we've yet to kill a single god of destruction in this world. That's why the church has taken up more drastic measures to help in capturing a god rather than killing them. If we can't eliminate them from the equation, shouldn't forming an understanding between them be the the most effective way of eliminating the threat of another Calamity War?"

With each sentence said, the white wolf became more and more depressed until she couldn't even bring herself to look up towards us. I suppose through listening to what Kyouko had said, she'd realised that all of her efforts throughout her life that had gone towards the church were all but useless in the end. Though I must say, despite her small size, Kyouko can still pack quite a punch in terms of her words and her sayings. Never judge a book by its cover, I suppose.

"...Tell me, what is your name."

The white wolf finally looked up and responded towards me after a long pause of silence. However, her eyes appeared fairly watery, and her expression looked more destroyed and hopeless than anything. She was nothing compared to her previous, ferocious self.

"It's Erebus. Everyone calls me that, I think."

I responded, with a hint of confusion in how I replied back to her. The white wolf merely smiled sadly upon hearing my name.

"Is that so? Heh, fear truly does come from the past."

The white wolf mummbled to herself before looking back towards the ground. A soft sniffing sound was then heard from her, and I could've sworn I saw tears dripping down towards the ground as well.

"Ah! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry—"

Kyouko tried comforting the white wolf, but she'd rejected it through smacking her hand away before glaring straight at us.

"S-shut up! I'm not crying! It's just...dust that went into my eyes..."

The white wolf tried lying her way out, to prove us that she wasn't crying. However, the tears rolling down her cheek said otherwise. Was she really that hurt from what Kyouko said to her?

"...Go away."

The white wolf silently said, but I wasn't able to hear it clearly, prompting me to ask her of what she had said.

"What?"

"I said go away! Never show your face in front of me ever again!"

This time however, she replied back with even more anger from before, even if her tears were flowing down her cheek like a waterfall. I guess she has fully broken down by this point, seeing how she isn't putting in any effort to hide her tears.

Hearing this, Kyouko dragged me back towards the main entrance of the village, leaving the white wolf alone in the streets.

"If you ever dare show your face towards me once again, I'll make sure that you'll share the same experience as I am right now!"

The white wolf shouted back at us one last time before her voice became inaudible towards us. At the gate, various church members still blocked out path. However, once they'd seen the white wolf from behind us, they'd sighed in defeat before moving away from the gates, allowing us to pass through and exit the village once and for all.

"Sometimes, certain things are best left undiscovered. However, if you still wish to continue then go right ahead. Just make sure history doesn't repeat itself a second time."

Having been reawakened from her vegetative state spanning for eons, our little maiden in black has had every bit of her memory wiped out. Not only is any knowledge about the world she's in is completely absent, but memories of her very own identity was also lost. The only thing that remained in her was a desire. A desire that she couldn't exactly explain.

And it seems that the world isn't exactly happy about her return as well. Any and every person that she has met had always held some sort of resentment or hatred towards her. To make things worse, every attempt she has made to help or gain the trust of people has always resulted in bitterness or discontentment.

Can she regain her memories to get a better understanding of her situation? Will she be able to fulfill her indescribable desire in the end? Or will she fail and continue on with this vicious cycle?

As Abel was riding on his horse, the vacant horse that was carrying the high-quality horse stock was by his side. Both horses were extremely agile. Instead of admiring the scenery along the journey, Abel carefully observed if there were movements around him. He constantly took a map out from his chest pocket and cautiously compared it to the terrain.
When looking at the maps of this world, the first thing you would notice was not the details. Yes, because there weren't many details. Instead, there was a general line that was drawn which highlighted the nearby geographical features of the area.
The map Abel had on his hand was already a special map made only for nobles. It was already considered the best map available in this world. There was a list of symbols and their explanations at the bottom of the map, which corresponded with symbols that were placed all over on the map.
This river that Abel had just crossed was marked on the map with a symbol that read, "Be careful of the deepwater when passing through."
When Abel looked back at the river in front of him, it was more like a stream than a river. As he was constantly groaning about the map, he thought to himself that maybe the symbol on the map should change to "beware of getting your shoes wet" instead.
He then looked at the map again, this time, the map marked there was a small hill ahead. As Abel looked up, he saw a small hill. Luckily it hasn't disappeared yet. The map was finally accurate this time around.
This was the first time Abel had traveled this far alone. So he carefully examined the surrounding environments since he didn't want to lose his life through a trivial accident.
Suddenly, there was a stirring sound coming from the air. Abel immediately looked up into the sky to see what was going on. To his surprise, a gigantic bird was crashing down towards the small hill ahead.
Abel's curiosity was quickly aroused. The bird was bigger than anything he could have ever imagined. He had never seen such a gigantic bird in this life or even in his past life. It was almost as big as a passenger plane.
The Knight of Saroyan set off towards the direction of that small hill. Meanwhile, about 10 minutes later, Abel had gone down to the foot of the mountain and left the two horses there. He then took out his Harry's bow, placed the magic ice sword on his back and went back up to the mountain.
Unlike ordinary horses, these warhorses did not need to be tied up in the wide. They were trained to not leave the location where their owners had left them.
Furthermore, these carnivorous warhorses could also drive out any potential threats which made it much safer when traveling with them.
It took a lot of effort and time for Abel to walk from the foot of the mountain towards the top. Although this small hill didn't look big from afar, it was only until now Abel had realized the definition of a dead horse running up the mountain.
Then suddenly, Abel heard the sound of "goo..goo...," as well as people talking in beast language. Abel's heart dropped. He was not expecting the orcs to be nearby at all.
As Abel carefully lurked around his surroundings, he remembered that he was caught by the wolfrider last time due to his scent. But this time he gained experience. He found a leeward region that should keep his scent from reaching the orcs.
"How long do I have to wait before it can fly again?," Cried a voice in the orc language.
"It may take up to two days, my Lord," Said a humble voice.
 "twp days? Are you serious that I have to stay in this human world for 2 more days? I will feel sick even if I have to stay another day. You better hurry it up and cure the thing." As a voice lashed out from somewhere.
"Yes, my Lord."
Abel carefully stuck his head out to peek at the current situation. Even though he was in a leeward region, he also held his breath for extra precautions. Who knew if the orcs could hear better than normal humans?
The first thing that Abel saw was the gigantic bird, the bird had a huge wound on the side of its' body. If the wound was measured to normal human sizes, it would account for the length of two people! However, a wound for these gigantic birds was considered only a small wound. As Abel continued looking, there was a worgen wearing leather clothing, who was carefully putting medicines onto the continuously bleeding wound of the bird.
On the edge was a wargon that caught Abel's interest immediately. It was not an ordinary wolfrider. This was the first time that Abel had seen an orc wearing armor. The fact that it was wearing a black armor was all the more peculiar. It didn't have a shiny smooth surface, which meant it was no ordinary steel. Since only unpainted material would have a texture like this. This material was black in default. Abel had never seen such unique material in his life.
This special worgen seemed to be extremely irritated, as he constantly urged the other worgen to hurry it up to treat the bird's wounds.
"Stay here and take care of the wound. I am going to find something to eat," said the worgen in black armor. He then headed out towards the other side of the mountain.
Abel took a closer look at the worgen who was working on the bird's wound. It looked like it was going to take a while before the bird could fly again. Therefore, he abandoned his original idea of investigating the bird and wandered off to follow the wolf rider in the black armor.
The wargon in black armor was Fowler. He had just escaped from the Neuilly Valley. Since the bird was injured and extremely tired during its long journey here, it should be able to fly again any time soon. The only option was to find a hidden spot around for the bird to heal up.
Fowler's loss was tremendous. All of his year-long guards and mount wolves had been killed. However, as long as he could return home, all of these things were trivial compared to his family's wealth.
Fowler suddenly stopped when he reached the bottom of the mountain. He carefully examined his surroundings. At this moment, Abel thought he was caught and he immediately hid behind a giant boulder.
Abel had suffered a lot of hardships with his attempt in tracking Fowler. On many occasions, he wanted to pull out his bow and one-shot the wargon. However, Abel always had a feeling that it would be very hard to hit its armor. As Abel's power of will increased, he became more confident in himself in taking the shot.
Slowly, he poked out his head and saw the wolf rider taking off his armor. When the armor was removed, it was able to be easily folded into a rectangle. Then the rectangle seemed to be fixed after wolf rider had pressed the top for a few times. Afterward, the wolf rider picked it up and carried it behind him.
As Abel placed the arrow back on harry's bow and pulled backward, saying to himself, "You are just killing yourself. You can't blame me for taking off your own armour.."
 What happened next shocked Abel. The wolfrider suddenly took out a necklace from his chest and uttered a spell.
Abel had experience with spells. Since he was in a close range with the wargon, his power of the will was able to remember every single word the wolf rider had uttered.
These kinds of spells were a typical orc style spell. These spells usually contained a large number of quotes that praised the orc god, mixed with some strange pronunciation. As soon as the wargon finished saying the spell. A soul-crushing force emerged from the sky, followed by a green beam of light. The light began brighter and brighter, soon surrounding the entire body of the wargon.
By the time the light had dissipated, the wolf rider had fully transformed into a human's body when he appeared in front of Abel's eyes. The wargon's unique arched back was gone, its' height had dropped as well as his facial hair and pointed mouth looking completely like a human.
"Wow, a treasure!" Abel was completely struck by this sight. Whatever that necklace was, it was a high-value treasure. On top of that, it was from an orc, so he could justify stealing it without feeling any remorse.
As Abel pulled his bow to the maximum power and aimed precisely onto the wargon's head. However, this was not a human, it's an orc. Its head could be counted as military service. Therefore after a bit of consideration, Abel decided that shooting it at the heart was a more viable option 
With a bang, the arrow traveled faster than the speed of sound. The wolfrider was hit in the heart with almost no response. The necklace then promptly began to flash a few times and then suddenly the wargon's appearance had transformed from human back to its original form.
Abel stepped forward and approached the wolfrider carefully. When he confirmed that it was dead, he began to loot the body of the wolf rider.
The first thing Abel took was the necklace, he carefully removed it from the wolf rider's neck. The necklace was a circle made of unknown materials, on one side, it was carved with the beast god, and the other side was the human god of war.
And the second thing he looted was the set of armor, Abel picked the armor up with his hands. The armor was extremely light. It was only around five pounds, which was almost nothing for a knight. Abel lightly poked the armor with his dagger, it did not make a mark at all. He poked it again with more force, still, it made no difference. After a few more times, Abel gave up. It's better to leave it to a knight with combat qi to test out the defense power of this armor. A novice knight like him was too weak to do anything. 
Abel was so glad that he believed in his power of will and didn't attack the wolf rider when it was wearing the armor. Luckily, the wolf rider got himself killed by taking off his own armor.
Fowler didn't deserve to be killed. All he wanted to do was to sneak inside a human village to get some food. He wasn't looking to harm anyone. Since he didn't want an entire troop of knights running after him, he used a family treasure to turn himself into a human so he could go steal some food.
His armor was made exclusively for worgen, to transform into a human. Fowler had to take it off, and Abel took advantage of what he did.
 In the end, Abel found a pile of things from the wolf rider's arms, including two rune sign, which was a surprise for Abel. Other than that, he had also found some jewelry, and finally a familiar orc technique sign.

Being a knight is cool and all, but being a wizard is pretty neat as well.

Jiang Yi didn't recognize this demonic beast, but He Lao exclaimed from the distance. This type of demonic beast was very rare and loved to slaughter. Its strength is extremely ferocious, and it seemed like the two of them would not be able to escape this misfortune.
Jiang Yi knelt on one knee and was holding the Fire Dragon Sword. Although his body couldn't stand from the massive prowess pressure, he still stubbornly raised his head up and looked at the demon king without any fear.
"Human, you have some bravery, huh? You dare to kill master's descendants in front of this king?"
The Yazi Beast stood in mid-air and looked at Jiang Yi with its eyes which were as big as bronze bells. It opened its mouth indifferently and spoke with an impactful and thunderous voice, which caused Jiang Yi to vomit another mouthful of blood.
As expected!
This was indeed the demon king that was tamed by the Witch God back in the days. Three thousand years had passed, but this demon king didn't die yet. Its strength was even at the peak grade of tier-four. It might just break through at any moment, being an existence like the Demon Empress.
Jiang Yi took a deep breath and spat out a mouthful of blood sludge. He put everything on the line and circulated his essence force in a frenzy and struggled to open his mouth, "I have always been brave. Your master's descendant wanted to kill, so why can't I kill him? If you want to kill, then kill. Stop all your nonsense!"
"Hmph!"

The demon king spoke again and slowly flew over to Jiang Yi. It looked down upon Jiang Yi from above and squirmed its mouth while speaking indifferently, "As long as you kneel and give this king one hundred kowtows, this king shall spare your life. How about it?"

Jiang Yi and He Lao had this amazement in their eyes. This demon king didn't kill them immediately and actually asked Jiang Yi to kneel and kowtow? It even wanted to spare Jiang Yi's life?
Isn't the Yazi Beast brutal by nature and loved to kill? Ancient sayings stated that a Yazi Beast will always take its revenge. It is rumored that if anyone took a single glance at the Yazi Beast, it would hunt you to the end of the world. Why is this Yazi Beast so strange?
He Lao blinked his eyes while feeling confused, but his heart burned with a trace of hope. A demon king was equivalent to a human martial expert and would certainly keep its words. If Jiang Yi was to kneel and seek for mercy, there might really be a chance for escape.

Jiang Yi was suppressed so much that his body constantly trembling, and he was vomiting more blood. The demon king bellowed for one last time: "Kowtow and beg for mercy, or else… die!"
Jiang Yi's body had been suppressed, but his head was still held up high. He suddenly grinned and revealed his white teeth which were soaked in blood and struggled to say, "Kow… your ass!"
Swish!
The Yazi Beast's unicorn flashed with light and immediately shot at Jiang Yi. Jiang Yi's body vanished in the blink of the eye—as though he was turned into dust by a powerful attack, without leaving behind a corpse.
"Young Master Yi!"
He Lao screamed out miserably. Against such a powerful attack—put aside Jiang Yi, even the Divine Martial Kingdom's Old Eunuch Lin would be turned into dust, right? His eyes looked over at the Yazi Beast as he roared out with rage, "Bastard, come on then! Kill this old man, too!"
The Yazi Beast swept an apathetic look at He Lao with eyes of disdain. It dove into the iced sea, and its aura presence vanished quickly, restoring the movements back to the mutated beasts as they all rushed at He Lao in a frenzy.
"Ke-Ke!"
He Lao was stung by the Yazi Beast's look of disdain. He mocked himself and brandished the heaven artifact violently to attack. He was going for the broke. Since Jiang Yi was dead, he didn't wish to live anymore. Even if he could get out of this place, he wouldn't have the face to look for Zhan Wushuang; he might as well bury himself with Jiang Yi.
Of course… before he perished, he was prepared to kill a few more mutated beasts to vent the anguish and rage in his heart.
Pong! Pong! Pong!
He desperately and frenziedly shot out his dao pattern attacks, which struck at the mutated beasts from all directions. The mutated beasts were sent flying one after another by his violent attacks and were drenched in fresh blood after being blasted. It took just a moment of time for three mutated beasts to be seriously injured by him, and they all fell into a pool of blood.

That demon king's attack was so horrific that it turned Jiang Yi into dust, right? How could the surface of the ground be perfectly normal? Even if there wasn't a giant pit, there should be some signs of the attack, right? Could the demon king had such accuracy of its strength? Not even a trace of energy leaked out? It was obviously impossible.
"Not dead! Young Master Yi is definitely alive!"
When thinking about the strange behavior of the demon king, He Lao suddenly thought of a bold conclusion. Jiang Yi didn't get turned into dust and was possibly teleported by the demon king using a special ability.

The more He Lao pondered, the more he got excited. His heart which originally desired for death suddenly turned lively again. If Jiang Yi was truly teleported away and went to the fifth floor. He might be able to inherit the Witch God's legacy, and there might still be a chance for survival.

No matter if that was the case, He Lao decided to desperately live on and wait for a miracle.
