When I heard him say that his name was Ryu Uzumaki, I felt excited.
Maybe he was a long lost brother. Or some distant cousin. I had never seen or heard of other Uzumaki, so I didn't know what to expect.
He looked nothing like me and I mean that there wasn't the slightest resemblance.
He had red hair, I was a beautiful golden-blonde worthy of a Hokage. He did not have whiskers to make him look as cool as I did. His eyes were...grey? Purple? I couldn't see clearly. But they were most certainly not the awesome blue colour that I had.
He was rather tall. Taller than me. And a bit cool-looking.

I found solace in the fact that Sasuke-teme also got beaten up by Ryu, perhaps even harder than I did. Ha! Take that ya' smug bastard!

Everyday, it was the same thing. He would give Sasuke, me and every other person unlucky enough to be paired with him a beating to remember.
I don't ever remember having bruises for more than a few hours. Sasuke had a black eye for a week.
And then he got his own group of fangirls.
Atleast he didn't always seem smug like Sasuke.
He was just so.....calm. Unless you were sparring against him.

I felt sad that this new guy, possibly related to me, didn't like me either.

"Iruka-sensei, is he related to me" I asked. Maybe he just had the same name.
At this point, even ramen couldn't make me happy.
Okay, I lied. Ichiraku Ramen can make anyone happy. Why can't Ryu see that?
"Distantly. Yes." Sensei seemed hesitant in his smile towards me.

Iruka-sensei sighed.
"He does not hate you. Maybe it's because he doesn't know you that well?"
Even he seemed to know that it was a lie.
I just went back to eating my Ramen in silence.

But considering that after I laid waste to her companion that was the first thing she did I can only assume that its something to diminish my magic. I mean that's the only thing to make sense in my opinion why else would the let a turtle that can use magic just lay on the table with no discernable cage or restriction. 
If I'm right that just means I'm freaking awesome. Even if you restricted me doesn't mean I'm helpless I can still smack a bitch. Well figuratively at most it is just a ball of water.
This reminds me how is this Gandalf wannabe so fragile that some water knocked him out. Water can be quite powerful in the right circumstances but I don't believe this is one.

Shit while I was busy sorting through my thoughts puny snuck away and pulled a lever dropping a large cage around me.

As I process what happened it dons on me that the cage is too big for me I can fit through the bars. Haha, brat try and stop me!
Sadly she does right as I'm about to saunter through she pokes me back inside with her delicate finger...
 This has to be payback for how much I've made fun of her hight. 

This reminds me to not throw stones when I live in a glasshouse.
What right do I have to call her short when I literally fit in the palm of her hand.
Good lesson learned now can you please stop poking me!!

I try a few more times before losing my cool.
If that is how you want to play then fine. ..... um, why can't I use my magic? No matter how much I will it I am unable to wield magic. 
It must be this cage I was just able to use magic but now I cant.
This truly is a pickle but when trouble afoot relies on the natural instincts of a turtle.

After traping mister turtle in the cage by repeatedly poking it suddenly went *POOF* and went into its shell. Though its probably for the best I kind of felt a little sad I was actually having fun just sitting there and poking him.

I can't believe he bit my finger what a mean little turtle.

.... wait I made a mistake when he bit me I drew back my hand and he is still hanging on my finger. That means he is no longer restricted by the magic sealing cage.
 
I look down hoping its a mistake. 
He is indeed still there with only his head poking out of his shell clamping down on my finger.

looking at the felled foes with a triumphant gaze I feel satisfaction.
Who knew that holding up inside and lashing out by bitting is actually a viable tactic in dealing with enemies.

Well, there is one thing that is good about the internal monologue it makes the time go by while walking. Man, I move slow but at least I got through the door and there are stairs blocking my path.

After taking in my situation again I've come up with a plan of action. Since this is a spiral staircase I can save time by going in my shell which is surprisingly comfortable and dropping off the edge.
So far the only demerit for doing so would be I could end up on my back and cant gets up. But if I go the long way the sleeping beauties will wake up by the time I'm halfway there.

"What does that mean? What should I do?", Shengli walked towards Consort Shu and tried to grab her throat when the Emperor came in between and that brought his rationality back.
All Shengli was thinking was how this woman could know such things and why she is blabbering nonsense. If what she is saying is true, shouldn't she tell the solution first? She always had that jealous look whenever she looks at his Xing. How dare she? 
The Emperor looked at his brother who looked furious and he needed to come in between to stop his brother from going on a killing spree. Turns out his brother does not consider the gender when it comes to Mingxia.

The truck rams into Cole and he gets knocked away from the force. As he lands on ground some 50 feet away, his vision becomes blurred as he tries to get his bearing.

As he tries, he notices that he can't feel a damn thing. Now he vision starts to become darker as he feel his life slipping away.

Sometime later, Cole opens his eyes albeit slowly because of brightness. When he finally adjusted his eyes to the light he realizes he is in a open white space.

He looks around for a bit but sees nothing but white.

"Looking for something?" an unknown voice sounds behind Cole.

"Ahh!" exclaims Cole as he turn around in a fright.
He figuratively shits his pants as he turns around he sees the figure who he heard. It's the woman he 'saved' or so he though.

"Where is this? Did we die and come to heaven? If it is, I guess I failed in saving you. Sorry." Said Cole.

"Fufu~ No this isn't heaven. And no you didn't fail, but you did die because of your heroics."
"So if I'm dead why are you here?
"Why can't I be here? I'm the one who created this space."
"Wait. You created this? But how? And why am I here?"
"To answer on how, I'll just simplify it by saying that I'm a goddess. My name is Minerva. No, I have no relation to any goddess Minerva that you know. And on why your here? Well it's to give you an opportunity in this 'station'. Think of this place like "Central Station" on your world."
"Your a real goddess? Well that explains why your so beautiful. And this is a train station?"
"Thanks for the compliment. While it doesn't actually use trains you can from here, go to other universes."
"Other universes? Like parallel universes?"
"Specifically they are universes based on fictional works from your universe. The human imagination is a powerful thing."

Hi, I'm Kryo, a literal beginner in story writing. Heck, I got a "D" in my English class haha. But I digress. After reading the different "fanfics", I have become inspired to write one of my own. And I'm not sure how it'll go.

Oh, and I'm totally writing, or typing if you will, with the new feature on the app lol. I know I'm going to disappoint some of you with the slow release but I can promise you that if I ever drop this novel(Most likely I won't) or take a break from writing that I will give a notice at the end of the most recent chapter.

"Who says I am calm? I was just trying to make things less awkward, by doing everything the way I would normally do them. I have promised you that I won't do anything to you and that is a promise I plan to keep, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy each others company. It doesn't mean we can't try to get a little closer, does it?" Jenny agreed with his words with a soft spoken "hmm". "If what you need for that is for me to cover up a bit more, then that is what I will do. How is this?" Jenny turns around in his embrace and sees he is wearing a simple white t-shirt over the shorts he was wearing. She smiles up at him as she rubs over his back with her hand and says "With this, we can at leas try." She stands on her tiptoes and gives him a kiss to express her thanks. With Jason's arm around her shoulder, they return to their room. As they enter the room, Jenny unfastens her robe and is reminded of her unsuitable sleep wear. She had pulled the halves of the robe back together with her arms as she saw that Jason wasn't looking in her direction. 

He was standing by the balcony doors to open them up for some fresh air and a light breeze. Jenny's plan was to quickly get out of her robe and jump under the covers before he could see anything. How to deal with this from today onward was something she would think about tomorrow. However again her 'stealthy' moves were noticed by Jason who calmly said, without turning, "You do realize that this is a glass window right? I can see you sneaking around as well as that little dress you are wearing. If we didn't just have that talk, I would take this as giving me mixed signals." As he finished his words, he let out a low chuckle. Jenny didn't stop in her movements, but instead made a run for the bed and covered herself with the thin blankets. Jason laughs again as he gets into bed as well. He watches as Jenny is still being a bit anxious as she tries to maximize the distance between them in that bed. She was lying as far to the side as possible and had seemingly even placed one of the pillows in the middle of the bed to create a physical barrier between them.

Jason exhaled through his nose from amusement at her efforts, before throwing them out figuratively and literally. He grabbed the pillow and threw it off the bed, catching Jenny's attention. Despite Jenny turning over and asking him what he is doing, he doesn't respond and continues what he was doing. He is a man with a mission. In his mind all he saw was one barrier down, one to go. He rolls over on his stomach and used his long arms to reach over to Jenny's half of the bed. He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her body over to his. Jenny tries to break free from his forced embrace and asks him what he is doing and to let her go. However Jason ignores her words and inhibits her movements as he snuggles close and holds onto her hands. Fixing them onto her stomach with his. Jenny's heart is beating loudly and her eyes were wide open as her ways to escape had been blocked. After a few more efforts to break free, she gave up her struggle and slowly calmed down. It wasn't long before she too was overpowered by sleep and dozed off. 

The next morning she woke up from the light coming in through the opened balcony doors. She was still lying in Jason's embrace, who was deep asleep and still holding onto her as if he was afraid of waking up with her gone from the bed. Despite what she thought, the first night of sleeping in the same bed with Jason was quite comfortable. It seemed his calming effect on her wasn't limited to when they were awake. Once she had fallen asleep, she had been so peaceful and had slept very deep. Despite it being a shorter night than what she was used to, she felt well rested. She used the bit of free range her hands still had, to rub Jason's arms gently. Seeing that Jason was still sleeping, she decided to close her eyes for a little bit of extra shut eye. As she moved her back a bit to get more comfortable, she felt something from his lower side. Just because the owner was asleep, didn't mean his little friend was too. She froze in her movements and heard a low grumble coming from behind. It seemed her movements had woken Jason, who tightened his grip on her. "Stop moving about. Didn't you think your challenge for me was difficult enough? I am working hard to control myself, the least you can do is not make it harder for me." "He he he" was her only response, before closing her eyes and doing as he said. 

Two hours later Jason had finally slept enough as well and woke up. He knew Jenny hadn't really fallen back asleep after their short talk this morning. He could tell from her breathing and he noticed the small movements of her feet. He woke her up from her light slumber as he placed a kiss on Jenny's shoulder and asked her if she had slept well. Jenny replied with a affirmative "Mm-hmm". She still wasn't looking him in the eyes after her embarrassing morning start. Knowing what she was concerned about he let out a low chuckle before forcing himself out of bed and heading towards the shower. Before he entered he said "Don't think that just because I have this type of reaction to us sleeping next to each other, it gives you an excuse to escape from that position during the upcoming nights. As long as you aren't the one who has to take care of it, you have no reason to reject being the little spoon of this relationship." Jenny felt caught and wondered if Jason had learned to read her mind, before she covered her face under the blankets to hide herself from her embarrassment. While he was in the shower, she hurried to get dressed. Aside from getting dressed she would use the time waiting for him to finish, to figure out if she needed to buy new pajamas or could improvise using what she had brought along, before a new night would break and she would find herself in his arms again.

Jason seems like your typical rich guy. With money to spare, looks to kill and a heart breaker like no other, he seems to be lacking nothing. But why is everyone so terrified of him? Why won't anyone dare mention his name? That is until he meets his match. She breaks down his walls one by one and he is powerless around her.

"James, are you listening?" I looked down and saw her face. Her head was tilted to look at me. She had a serene expression on her face as she stared at me with her gentle eyes from under my shoulders. It was calmer than the usual. 

"I am." I told her.

"She did not say a word though." She was looking into my eyes without as light a ripple within her own. Her eyes were too clear for me not to feel an immense amount of guilt and heartache. I really had an unpleasant face, I scolded the negative luck that I seemed to be drowned in.

Jessie continued speaking, "She always said very sorrowful words in the past. This time however, she did not. Instead, she just looked to a side." She paused and turned her head to look at the grass patch again. Was it a good omen that the girl did not say anything?

"What do you think?" Jessie asked and I never felt so heavy at heart any time before.

I did not say anything and she naturally understood. She tried to console me, "Don't be sad. It will only worsen your fragile heart." 
When I heard her, I was completely confused. What did she mean? Did she say that literally or should I take it figuratively?

There were times when we were younger when she would call me a weak person, more so when I fell out of terms with someone. I would be more upset than she would in similar situations. I blankly stared at her. I really had a fragile heart.

"You don't worry Jessie. I cannot just not think. And it won't do me any harm." I convinced her and more so, myself. I was not having psychological problem, after all.

"Don't say that!" She freed herself from my arms as she turned herself in my direction. She placed her palms on my hands and her tone turned serious. "If you be happy, you will live longer." She insisted.

She then took a deep breath, "James, losing my parents and Jenny had a lot of effect on me. I was so young that time. If it was not for you, I would have lost all my will to live on.

"What is more important now is that, I can take this hit." She stood up from the bench and stood in front of me and took my face into her small warm palms. "James, I can."

Was there another way for her to deal with this? I really regretted all that I have done. Why did I have to entangle myself with her? If she had someone else luckier, how would that be? It will have to be good, better than this.

I did not know if I succeeded in hiding my sadness in my smile as I said, "That's good. You should move on." I genuinely wanted that to be the outcome of this whatsoever.

"If you were any healthier, I would have slapped you to land ten feet away."

"Jessie, think! Dad even said he will take care of the little one. You can," I could not complete my sentence. She turned around and started walking away.

"Hey, Jessie!" I hurriedly got up from the bench and walked towards her. She did not respond.

"Jessie," I called her softly.

"Fine, we won't talk about this anymore now," I coaxed her.

"So, there will be another time when you will bring this same nonsense up?"

I chose to stay silent. She stopped and turned me to look at her.

"That woman only comes in my dreams now. She does not invade my mind at random times like before. And she wants me to look somewhere. She stays silent like a clear soul and keeps looking off into the distance beyond. When I follow her line of sight, I always wake up just before catching the sight of it."

She continued, "I will know soon. Somehow, it is different. James, it has been months since you told me. And I have taken my time to accept the truth."

The only feeling I had these days was the feeling of helplessness. "I'm sorry!" I said and hugged her tight while being careful with her belly. I knew I was about to cry and my resolve to act strong and unaffected vanished into nothing. I cried standing there with Jessie in my arms.

When we were kids and something troubled him, he used to find me to let it out. Crying was included sometimes. He did not hide his tears back then. Because, boys did not particularly cry in front of their girls, I questioned him how he saw this once. It was a playful teasing that I aimed at. But, he gave me a serious and truthful confession in return. Mentally I am the stronger one and he told me that crying in front of me never felt like he was lowering himself. That was his level of acceptance.

But everything he is doing now is in a stark controversy to my beliefs.

He spoke after calming himself more, “I’m not.”
