A guideline for authors who are new to the business, written by a fan and veteran webnovel reader. These tips are what I think shows the basic quality of a novel, apart from its story. 

Recently, lots of originals have been popping up, and I have noticed that while they have great potential and exciting storylines and settings, the good aspects are buried in errors that could easily be corrected.

Authors, please give it a read. Of course, you will have your own thoughts and difficulties following these guidelines, but I feel that by following as many as you can, your novel will be more liked. Thank you!

Fellow readers as well as Authors, please feel free to mention other tips I can add to this guide to make it more detailed. I am happy to listen to your opinions on changes that can be made to my current guide.

Welcome back, young daoists! Today we will be touching upon a topic near and dear to every starving daoist's heart. Advertising.

Of course, "shamelessly advertising"? No! You are just providing a source of entertainment for anyone who is interested...

Maybe a young daoist like you has never heard of the term "advertising"? It's a quite simple and easy task, but getting people to actually read your story is something else. Here's a few tips on how to provide a source of entertainment for anyone interested.

1. Comments

Let's say you're on a story like "Transcending The Nine Heavens" and see a few comments enjoying the story. You should comment something like this:

"I like Transcending The Nine Heavens too! The update per week is soo slow though. I'm working on a similar story called "Insert Cool Xianxia Name" with a chapter per (you choose) and it currently has (please don't advertise with 5 chapters). See you later, fellow daoist. 

With this comment, you have indirectly said 'Come to my story, add to your library and give me power stones.' without actually saying that! Foolproof technique.

2. Social Media/Discord

If you haven't joined Discord, I recommend you do! You should then join the official Webnovel server and Inkstone Writing server. Using a legendary technique crafted by me, you will be able to get more viewers.

Open Discord > Webnovel > Start Interacting

This one requires a lot of skill, as not every starving daoist can actually communicate well. Fear not! This will hone your skills, give you an idea of what authors and readers are like and open new gateways to creating your own server for your novel. 

So basically, don't shamelessly advertise to advertise on Discord! Only do it when the moment is right and casually mention your novel. 
TLDR: Don't be so pushy! A man just wants to read..
3. Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?

This is only for the most desperate and starving daoists. It is seriously not recommended to torture yourself like this unless absolutely necessary. After all, who would want to let the world know they write on Webnovel? Just one look at it gives a 'weaboo' vibe and will scare most narrow-minded people off. But, if you have willingly chose this path, it is expected you know what judgement stems from it. 

You should casually mention you write something and have a friend check it out. Make sure you're not writing a scene where the MC gets his head chopped off on the first chapter or that will scare some people away. Here's a good way of saying this to your real life friends:

"I've been thinking of getting into writing, and I'm writing on a website called Webnovel. My story is called 'The Dao of Filler' you should check it out! I think you'll like it."

If you were not profusely sweating while saying that sentence, good on you. Let's just hope your friend won't be absolutely shocked when they read the absurd titles of popular novels and quickly close the tab...

Zhang Zian looked at Pi with encouragement. Having just learned the skill, Pi captured the screen of the platform for authors on the Qidian website and sent the image to the group. Then Pi typed: Hello, everyone. I'm the author of Pet King. Thank you for your support!

The readers were even more excited, expressing their love of the book and their curiosity about the author.

Pi was bemused, not knowing what questions to answer first or how to answer them. Fortunately, the group's manager helped Pi in a timely manner.

Zhang Zian was surprised. They've given Pi a nickname?!

"Eeek."

Pi smiled. It seemed to like the nickname.

Pi found that the readers were very friendly. Whether they were discussing the plot of Pi's book or talking about their life experiences, they were very polite, which was completely different from what Pi had imagined. Every once in a while, Pi would slip in one or two sentences to express its own opinions. Each comment from Pi was praised by the readers, who would subsequently ask Pi a series of questions or urge Pi to release more chapters, making Pi feel overwhelmed again. 

As Zhang Zian watched the interaction between Pi and the readers, he knew it was a great idea to ask Pi to join the Book Group.

While chatting with the readers, Pi refreshed the website from time to time. Previously, the number of readers who had put Pet King in their libraries was 9,853. Now, the number was increasing.

9,887.

9,923.

9,945.

9,972.

Finally, the number became 9,999.

Zhang Zian held his breath, and Pi minimized the chat room window. Their eyes stared at the number, waiting for the moment when it became ten thousand.

However, reality was different from their expectations. When Pi refreshed the website once again, the number decreased to 9,998.

"Eeek."

Pi lowered its head. Every time it saw the number decline, it'd be so frustrated and thought that the readers gave up reading the book because of its poor writing. 

"Pi, raise your head."

Zhang Zian patted its shoulder, comforting it. "Pi, you have to remember that your novel isn't the Renminbi and it will never be liked by everyone. You should know that only two out of ten customers actually decide to buy my pets. Money means nothing to me." 

Pi raised its head and pointed at its chest. The gesture meant: You should be ashamed of what you just said.

However, Zhang Zian's joke had helped Pi regain its confidence and courage. Pi quickly forgot the one reader who had just left and refreshed the webpage again.

"Eeek!" Pi danced with joy. 

"Finally, 10,000! High-five!" Zhang Zian raised his right palm.

Pi lifted its small pink hand and gently hit Zhang Zian's palm. Zhang Zian wanted to celebrate, but his cell phone suddenly rang.

He took out his cell phone, thinking that it was a message from an acquaintance or merchant. He was surprised to find that Pet Hunter had opened with new three tips. 

[Game Tips]: Congratulations! Your Molecule Monkey has collected enough Strength of Faith to upgrade!

[Game Tips]: Your Molecule Monkey is currently an Elite level elfin. After upgrading, it will become an Elite/Premier elfin. 

[Game Tips]: Are you upgrading now? If you choose "No," you can upgrade it later.

[Yes/No, remind me later]

Zhang Zian was stunned. It was his first time encountering the upgrade of an elfin. 

His palm was still touching Pi's, so Zhang Zian could feel its temperature that was slightly higher than that of humans. He looked at Pi, who was staring at the computer screen with joy and refreshing the page with the other to see the number increase.  

Zhang Zian glanced at the computer screen. The Add to Library number had become 10,031.

Although he didn't pay attention to the time, he believed that the game's upgrade option popped up when the number had reached 10,000.

Was that a coincidence?

"Pi, I'm going to the bathroom. Stay here by yourself for a while. By the way, don't just chat with the readers, start writing," he said, taking his hand back.

Pi nodded and excitedly launched the Word document. However, the novelty of joining the group hadn't yet passed, and Pi still occasionally looked at the chatroom.

Zhang Zian entered the bathroom, closed the door, and said in a low voice, "Navigation Elfin, are you there?"

There was no reason that the Navigation Elfin would lie, Zhang Zian believed it. "Thank you, I have no other questions."

[Navigation Elfin]: Enjoy playing your game!

The light disappeared.

Zhang Zian took a deep breath, and clicked "Yes."

By the time Father Wang finished smoking one cigarette after his alarming, demonic screech, the female broadcast host Little Xuan had finally come rushing back in after receiving the notification. She tidied up her messy fringe before sitting down demurely in front of the computer screen, her eyes twinkling at the camera as she waved with a pleasantly surprised expression on her face. "Hi! From Wang Ling's point of view, Little Xuan's looks were nothing spectacular and not as outstanding as online otakus had made them out to be. She had the standard hallmarks of an online celebrity, with straight eyebrows and an oval face. However, comparing facial features alone, Wang Ling felt that even without makeup, Lotus Sun was still more attractive. He had to admit, though, that compared with those tedious look-alike female broadcasters online, Little Xuan was nonetheless a pleasant-looking girl with just the right type of voice, sweet and not shrill. In addition, she was wearing a lacy maid's outfit, and black silk stockings on her slender legs…
Hmm, perhaps this was the reason why the audience loved Little Xuan.
As Wang Ling pondered this with his chin in his hands, on the other side, Father Wang had stubbed out his cigarette butt and was looking at Little Xuan plaintively. She clearly understood what this expression meant. "It seems our Jiaomei has run out of inspiration again?"
"The old book is about to be finished, but I have no inspiration for a new one. In a word, I'm anxious!"

When he had been a newbie in the world of web novels back then, Father Wang had finished writing three hundred thousand words in less than two months and had completely floored audiences with his debut novel Let Go of that Wet Nurse. Before we move on I told my sister to choose a weapon in case of danger and give a list of the weapon to choose from and she pick the short bow and sling Even thou Xien forget the ammo for the sling and bow, we can still pick up some rock along the way as for the arrow well they have to wait, for now I give her a dagger a long sword and a sling, as for me I use two katana and one dagger after we equipped out armor on top of our clothes we made our way up north while picking up stone along the way for the sling at the same time I teach my sister some defense moved for example don't try use your own strength to defense but your opponent strength to defense.

I asked her to attack and I defense she was unwilling but I told her if she doesn't know how to defense it would be hard on her as I can't always be there to protect her, she nodded unwillingly and throw a punch at me with her right hand and as I was facing her I lean back Abit and palm swipe her right arm with my left and position my left leg behind her right foot and she responds with her left hand swinging and I grabbed her left hand with my right hand and push it towards her, this made her subconsciously moved her left foot back as not to fall after that she try to swing with her right hand but at moment she already abit off balance so at the same time my left foot which was already behind her right foot all I did was moved my foot back and she drops to the ground.

When she drops on her back I could see she was abit shocked as to what had happened and look up to me with those sad eyes and that got in my heart, "umm let get you on your feet", I reach my hand out and she won't accept it and look away for me, I smile wrly and stretch my head, "Ok ok I was wrong  I should not do that, I will do anything for you if you forgive me" she slowly turn to me and ask, "promise?" Umm even thou she 19 now she still can be cute, "Yeah" I nodded my head and made our way up north continue our conversation on what to expect from the future ahead of time and about a five to six minutes walk later they saw what seem to be a LOG house and a pond at the side it was a nice view, just when I reach the Door 

[ *Ding* Host have reach Safe house safely and Hidden mission completed, Reward: 5x sets of quivers (25 arrows), 5x set of box sling ammo (each box contain 50)] 

That was kinda random did Xien forget to give me the ammo early and use this hidden mission to give me?, Umm can't be true right I thought to myself, hmmm "nahh!!", He can't be that clumsy I open the door and when in with my sister.

Somewhere in the house of a honest GOD Kid a few mins ago
"Umm I forget about giving him those arrows and ammunition for the range weapon what should I do ummm let ask my brother and sister."

After coming in the house a somewhat mechanical voice spoke to us, *Ding* "Welcome to the safe house, the safe house will be here till both of you are efficient in the basic combat, energy control and learn some basic knowledge of this world history and how this world work, this safe house will disappear once everything is settled and you are ready to start your journey and don't worry about getting older here, it will not matter as you will find out later, so for feel free to explore the house and you need anything or enquiry regarding anything please just talk to the dummy on your right."

I was just about to ask what dummy because there were nothing on my right and out of nowhere a lady spectical dummy wearing some sort of a magic robe with a book on it hand appears on my right, "Please feel free to ask me anything" the dummy told ask, even if it was suppose to be a dummy but it look more life-like to be a dummy with look similar to the model from America that hold some secret model show, should I ask what type of dummy it was?, nevermind I don't feel like asking and it doesn't matter to me at the moment, I look to my sister who have been quite all this time and ask her "So what you think about the current situation?" She look at me and kept silence for a few seconds before looking at me in the eyes and telling me "umm I will follow whatever your decision is and whatever you want to do as long brother allowed me to stay with you."

I look at her firm eyes which was telling me that she will not leave me and I nothing I do will change that, I can only smile and just nod at her and told her "well now that you want to stick to me like a geckos guess I can't help it and have to accept the gate of a geckos on my shoulder." I smiled at her and rub her head in which she swipe away my hand and say "who's the geckos" and pouted and turned around to walk to the kitchen, I just smiled at her action and start walking around the facility and checked the room and item the house had, they are two room in which has their own toilet and each room got a queen side bed and one room which has a somesort of a virtual pod that is similar to one of those anime card game I watch when I was a child Even thou now the new card series is a bit confusing , when I ask the lady dummy what those are for she say "those are for you to learn the language of this world and once you are inside the pod will release a medicine bath for both of you to change the condition of your body and remove some impurity that you may have in your body, just informing you that those medicine is given by master and is from his home."

I was loss for word as it seem it was really Xien first time doing this kind of stuff,  I hardly know any system type novel or manga that their system is this good, maybe they are some out there that I have not read or seen, guess when I met Xien real body I might just hug and kiss him maybe not that I am into guy or anything but for helping me with alot of stuff, the system that was in me who have been quite all this time suddenly, Ding* "System to announce to host that master request that the system should not give unreasonable quest and penalty to host and ask system to support host at system best ability, host have yet set the settings for system and yet to inform system about host name."

I heard the system spoke with the robotics like voice on what Xien request it to do that just made me more motivated and I was abit confused about what is this system setting that the system is taking about, a pop out appear in front.

Just to check something I ask the system, "So the name you call me will on be heard me right" and the system reply, Ding* "Affirmative", and can you not made that Ding sound, "Affirmative", I felt abit relief as that ding is getting on my nerves,and I ask a final question "What is the body type for?", And system reply "Not sure as master say it is a surprise and it one of master brother recommendation", this brother might be bad for the pure Xien, but he do give good suggestion, let get back to filling up the blank.

After I fill in the blank I click confirm, "System rebooting and will be available in 24 hrs", wow that a long rebooting guess I got nothing else to do but wait 24 hrs later, I walked towards the pod and look at it, look around to see if the dummy Lady is around but just as I thought no one was around,  I felt like someone appeared and when I trun around, I saw the model life-like dummy standing behind me at the same time I am not sure if it just me but she look a bit different than the earlier one  at the same time she was just staring at me with those seductive eyes while smiling at me, why is that her eyes suddenly become like that as earlier just now I did not see any of those seductive eyes.

she and me were both silence and I was not sure want to do as all she did was just looking at me, "so is that it just staring, no hi or any sort of greetings?", After I say that she just lick her lips and start moving towards me slowly, when I saw she was moving toward I back up a bit and say "even thou I don't mind you wanting to eat me or anything but first my sister is nearby and might be coming by anytime and second I don't feel like giving my first time to someone who will disappear once this safe house is gone and at the same time to a robot dummy", she halted her step and just curled the tips of her mouth and come closer to me and locked her arms around my neck.

Our face are so close that her nose and my nose touch each other on the tips, I can feel her hot breath and I think to myself well isn't this way off the brother and sister bonding, after a few seconds of silence she was the one who broke the silence with her seductive voice, "your willpower of holding back temptation is great but from what I can feel at least it is honest~" as she wisper in my ear and blew some air which her already got breath in my ear , which is making it hard for me and just as I was about to say something when she release her arms and back off Abit and look me with the same seductive eyes and say, "for the questions you asked earlier first my name is Natalya I am 100% human and second your sister currently is cooking some food for you and her and third I will be your sparing partner and your sister as well so please take care of me" she bow down to me while showing me her DD cleavages, damnit she doing this on purpose, she look up at me and lick her lips and say something which kinda made me want just wanted to just hang my head in the wall, "liking the free service so far~~", while folding her arm and lifting her DD.

When I walked out the training pod room the devilish women follow behind me, I trun and look at her who was smiling at me, "guess your going to follow me to meet my sister?", She replied with a "yes~~", the way she answers me just made me shakes my head with a *sign* and continue walking towards the kitchen



(A/N: yo it been a while yeah, as I mentioned on the 1st chapter in is considered a hobby or mine so I am not gonna Spend 24/7 writing, I do work 12 hrs a day and when I am free I will mostly spend a few min on writing/typing on other time mostly play game on my phone read other novel and soon MHW: Icebond will be released so I might be spending more time with that, so yeah I have already informed you guy that the novel will have a very slow release due to my wonderful life so if you gonna stick around longer I appreciate you for staying so as always stay tuned for more chapter. :) )

Solomon White had just arrived outside a coffee shop not to far from his house. He had never been here because he was busy writing his stories and and reading others stories, the reason for this sudden trip was because a fellow author had asked to meet up with him so that they could share tips and maybe get some new insight as where to bring their stories. 

"Hello welcome to Anteiku." A cheerful girl greeted him with a smile. "Feel free to sit where ever you want." 

"Okay, thank you." Solomon decided to take a seat in the back as he waited for Charles (The other author) to arrive. "Also can I just have some black coffee please." 

"Yes, coming right up." She replied in her cheerful manor.

It only took a few minutes before another person had entered the shop, the man was around 5'8 black hair with gray eyes and was dressed in a silver suit. 

"Hello Charles, nice to see that you're right on time as usual." 

"Of course, wouldn't miss it for the world" Smiling he took a seat and started sipping on the black coffee that Solomon had ordered while Solomon just shot him a weird look.

"Now then, lets get down to business." He said while setting down the already empty cup of coffee.

"Okay, you said that you wanted to exchange ideas right? I looked over you're novels so far and the plans you have for them and they seem to be great. As for me I just finished my novel and am ready to start a new one." 

"Looks like we had the same idea, I am interested in making a new story as well, how about a collaboration between us?" 

"Oh, that sounds interesting, but I don't have any plans thought out yet." 

That's fine." Charles replied, the smile on his face was sort of outputting to look at for some reason. He had seen that smile before, it was the smile of someone who was scheming something. "I have an idea my self, a story about an author who is sent to another world and has a system which revolves around the seven deadly sins." 

"Oh, that sounds interesting, I would read it for sure. But it sounds like you got it figured out so there is no real reason for me to help, unless you just need someone to type out the chapters while you plan them?" 

"Ah, there is something you can do, you see there is something that's missing from my story." He paused, and Solomon could see his smile grow even wider. "You see, I am lacking a main character for my story, you'll help me won't you?" 

"Of course, what kind of main character do you need? I have plenty that can go along with any story." Solomon answered

"Great, I knew you wouldn't let me down. As for the main character I need, you will do, no need to borrow any of yours." 

"I will do? What do you mean?" Solomon asked confused, but Charles didn't answer him, he just raised his hand and snapped. As the sound of his snap rang out the world seemed to churn before slowly turning black." But right before everything turned black he could hear Charles voice.

"Try not to get eaten, I can't write my story without my main character now can I?" Followed with a fit of laughter. "If you ever interested in finding me I will be at Anteiku, the real Anteiku." and with that he heard no more.

This is a fanfiction system novel.
This novel will have a MC that's not pursuing everyone woman he lays his eyes on
The MC will travel through different anime world's.

The story follows Solomon White as he finds himself transmigrated into the world of Tales of Demons and Gods. With his system that revolves around the seven deadly sins (not the anime) he venture's out to make the story of TDG his own in his own little way.

this is kinda of late but whatever. 

so....  I'm a high school student so I have to study for midterms and finals. so it's hard for me to update. also if my grammar sucks I'm sorry. Also for this story/novel I'm using my phone so.. you could tell how that goes and the autocorrect barly work so I'm really sorry. Right bow um debating whether to continue this or not.
SO WHY AM I WRITING THIS?
at first It was for the badge. But then I started to have a lot of ideas of how the novel should be  and plots and so I just continued with the story. Secondly it was because when I'm reading a story or a novel i would always think if the characters should've done this or if the story could end up with a certain idea that I had. Thirdly I was bored and I wanted a story that would go the way I want it to. so yah enjoy and give me tips

He woke up. His body was heavy and his stomach empty, though he didn't mind. Carefully he sat up. The moss under him was very thick and soft, the trees around him tall and the night sky sprinkled with stars and stardust.
He looked at his hands. They were those of a youth with pale skin who had apparently worked very hard. The clothes were as golden as the bright moon, but dirty and ripped at several places.
Carefully he stood up. The body was thin and small, but obviously had eaten well and lived a comfortable life.
Two long strands of hair fell equally over his temples, cheeks and ears. They reached his hips. He touched the lower back of his head. The hair was bound tightly into a ponytail, but at shoulder height, it was cleanly cut off. 
He heard water. Quietly, he walked over and looked at himself. Now he really was certain, that was not him. The face that was mirrored in the calm river was very pretty, young and a bit bruised, which made the lips a seductive red. If he wanted to, he could look just like a young woman - which seemed to be the reason for quite a lot of bullying.
He moved his face closer to the water. The eyes were of a clear brown. Very pretty, he thought. 
So now he knew what he looked like, but he didn't know who he was, and there was no indication of his identity. Well, too bad.
He thought back. This wasn't his body, but it also wasn't bad. As much as he remembered, he had just died after living a long, great life and he was able to meet his great grandchildren. He also was a famous author and well known for his advanced thoughts.
Now, being in a new body wasn't too bad, though it was sad to not remember the previous life. But it was over. He died with a smile. How ridiculous it would be to whine after it.
He raised his head again. The hair strands were wet and dripped on his clothes.
There was only one thing he hadn't checked yet: his voice. He hummed a bit. His throat hurt, but he continued. His voice was soft and gentle, a bit like an instrument. Very good, very pretty.
He sneered. There were only two damn words to describe this body: Very pretty. And he really didn't like that. His vocabulary was too big for such a great loss of descriptions!
He stood up and looked around. In the distance was a faint glow. While walking towards that glow, he noticed that his senses were extremely sharp. But that was also the reason he was very anxious. There were so many strange sounds around him, so many breaths and moves. This guy was a wimp! And, if his soul was now in this body, what happened to the original soul? Did he kick the bucket or what?! Probably.
After a while, he was still used to his big, fast steps, he reached the opposite of a town. The town was glowing in a faint red. There were many lanterns and people in red clothes. There seemed to be a celebration, with soft but epic music and calmly smiling faces.
The town was mirrored in the river and the whole picture gave one a feeling of peace.
„Ran MiQian?"
He turned around.
The man that stood in front of him had long black hair. His robe was made out of white and grey silk that seemed silver-ish. He was tall with broad shoulders and a gentle face. His eyebrows were straight, his skin like jade, and he wore a slightly confused look.
The tall man came closer and eyed him carefully.
„You are Ran MiQian, right?"
„I… don't know…"
The man raised the tips of his eyebrows slightly.
„Hm… Well, come with me. I know a place where you can stay, but you have to work for it."
„What kind of work?"
„Cleaning, sewing, keeping things in a presentable state."
„I… think I can do that…"
„Good. Allow me to ask how you got here."
„I don't know."
„Amnesia…?"
„Probably."
„Oh. Well, your name is Ran MiQian, and you're a young master of the MifeiRan sect. But at the moment, you cannot leave this place. So try your best."
„Okay. And what should I call you?"
„Hm… Young master Fei."
MiQian nodded. He quietly followed the young master to a tall, red building. It was certainly not a brothel, but a hotel. Every guest seemed to have a high status, looked well clothed and such. If he wanted to work here, he had to do his best, that much was obvious.
He was brought into a small room, then was told to wait.
„Welcome to the simulation." A programmed voice suddenly said a while after the master had left the room.
„This place is not real. It is the first location of the novel ?)"/§&8°72 „6"$&^9/„%. You have the duty to correct the mishaps and plot holes of the original novel. To help you survive this location, please look at your instructions."
MiQian looked at the file that had appeared in his field of vision. He opened it and saw a schedule that showed what he had to do. There were also tips for certain locations in the hotel, which guests like what and so on.
There was also a file about him, but he only looked at it after he had carefully memorized the file with tips and instructions.
His name was Ran MiQian, birth name Qi. He was the youngest master of the fifth generation of the cultivational sect Ran of the Mifei region, and although his cultivation was high, he was very weak. Most people didn't know how to handle him, and he was scared of basically everything. There wasn't much more to his character.
„If this is a novel, who is the protagonist…?"
„Question registered. Name: …"
MiQian frowned at the name. He was not from China, he wouldn't be able to remember this name! What genre is this anyway, wuxia? Xianxia would also be possible… Ah, it was probably both.
He sighed. And there it was: the name was gone! When he would hear it, he would remember it, but else… Not a chance.
He went through his tasks again. A bundle of red and white clothes lay beside one end of the mattress. Work clothes. MiQian looked at them with contempt but still put them on. He felt like he was in a movie - no, wait, he was in a novel, so it was almost the same.
The door to his room was opened and a round, small lady entered. She had a face full of smiles and silver hair, and she gave him a list with rooms he should clean, then led him to them.
„Birth name?" She asked.
„Qi."
„Mhm. A-Qi, please take good care. It would be sad to lose another newcomer."
„I'll do my best."
„Mhm. Just be as polite as possible."
„Yes, Madame."
The old lady laughed.
MiQian entered the door and silently began to clean, while the old lady waited outside and watched him. The guest in that room completely ignored them, writing a letter.
He found the instructions really helpful, since they told him a bit about this guest. As long as he didn't touch the papers or brushes, everything was alright.
„Hey, I need more ink." The man said.
MiQian looked at the lady, and she nodded, so he put away his things and started grinding ink at the ink stone.
„You."
MiQian looked up. The man stared him down with cold amber eyes, surrounded by wild honey colored hair.
„Yes?"
„Are you good at writing?"
„I… don't know…"
„Hmph."
The man began to write again, and MiQian continued. That man was named Qiao Li and was apparently a bit weird. Most people kept their distance from him, and it was said that he had contacts to demons and ghosts in the underworld, though all rumors were unconfirmed. He was powerful enough to be sect leader - if he ever desired that. But he didn't. He was fine with being just there.
MiQian was also scared of having to write. He didn't grow up with these characters, as if he would be able to write and understand them just because he was in a novel. On the other hand, he could speak it, so maybe he should try writing…?
„That's enough. Continue cleaning."
He bowed and retreated. Qiao Li was really a bit uncomfortable to be around.
He cleaned the other rooms under the careful eyes of the lady and was approved. On the second day, he was shown around by a young girl. There was a big room with boards on which plates with names hung. With that system, the workers were assigned to certain rooms, no matter which guest would occupy it.
After that he was also shown the canteen where everyone ate whenever it fit and the baths which were only open for the workers in the early morning and evening.
The weird system in MiQians head noted everything down and made a rough plan for him, when he would do what and so on.
MiQian also got a magic bell. When his rooms master would need anything, it would ring. 
Before the girl left, she said to him „And if they don't tell you to leave, then just retreat into a corner."
He followed her with his eyes, then decided that he was hungry and went to the canteen. Just as he had finished eating, the bell at his hip rung.
He ran up the stairs, knocked at the door after he had confirmed the number and entered as quietly as he could.
Qiao Li looked at him with a weird look in his eyes.
„What can I do for you, master?"
„Hm, yes, it might work… You are a girl, aren't you?"
„I am not, sir…"
„Oh."
„Sir?"
Qiao Li chewed on his nails. 
„Sir, if there is anything I can help you with, please do tell me. That is my duty."
„Your duty… Are you sure?"
„W-well…"
„If you had to crossdress for a party where you would encounter violent beings, would you do it?"
„Is there a guarantee to survive it?"
„Me."
„Hm… I should be able to do it…"
„Good. Here, write your full name as pretty as you can."
MiQian raised his eyebrows and stepped to the desk. He took the brush and began to write. The signs were carefully drawn and looked like paintings from someone who should be famous.
„You're good…! Your name?"
„Ran MiQian, birth name Qi."
„Good, good. Well, first of all, practice a bit."
„What exactly?"
„Crossdressing."

A few days went by, and MiQian wore a pretty, light and dark green robe for women. The short hair was braided and seemed to glow because of the white pearls. The two hair strands still covered his temples and cheeks, making his round face look a bit more delicate.
The decent makeup made this impression even stronger, and because of MiQian always being unsure of himself, he looked like a petite mistress. Qiao Li was very happy with himself and MiQian, who was mostly embarrassed. 
„I will address you as MiQian, and you will address me as Lord Qiao, understood?"
„Yes, Lord Qiao."
Qiao Lis eyebrow twitched as MiQian hid his mouth behind the wide sleeve when speaking, his head lowered and looking up with big brown eyes. It looked too real!! What the hell had he done, using that servant!
Qiao Li gritted his teeth, calmed down and then gave MiQian a brush and a fan.
„You can use those to defend yourself."
MiQian stared at the fan and the brush, then at Qiao Li. He knew that there was a technique in Chinese martial arts that used fans, and in anime and such they were often used to make magical winds or whatever one would call that, but the brush? What the hell was he supposed to do with that, write incantations on the fan? 
He opened the fan. It was made out of very durable wood and the painting on it had delicate features. No, he really shouldn't scribble over this beautiful landscape. But how would he use the damn brush?! And the instructions weren't helping either!
He could only sigh and let both items disappear in his left sleeve. A dagger would have certainly been more useful, but if they went to a place where weapons weren't allowed, it made sense to not carry something like that around.
MiQian glanced at the mirror on the desk. The reflection was of poor quality, but enough to see that he was really skilled at doing makeup. He couldn't help but be proud of himself. He must have been a woman in his past life - but by standards of the novel, that was embarrassing for any man to say, closer to an insult than to a compliment.
He remembered the last few days which he had spent trying to be more feminine. It was a success, but the visits of young master Fei reduced his triumph.
The young master knew Ran MiQian and he had apparently a high position in this small town. Everyone was respectful towards him and he had a calm personality, somehow getting along quite well with Qiao Li. It was really weird to see. Was Qiao Li a tsundere? Well, apparently!
These two almost seemed like a couple… How cute! MiQian felt like he could watch that the whole day! Why wasn't that made into a novel…
Just as his thoughts started drifting away, Qiao Li brought him back to reality. He should come to this room tomorrow at the same time.
MiQian nodded, quickly changed his clothes and went back to his room. After he had hidden the woman's clothes, he turned around and stared at the young master who was leaning on the wall next to the door.
„Young master Fei, is there something you need?"
„Ah, you really don't remember anything… How sad."
MiQian looked at him with a complicated look.
„Well then, let me tell you a bit about your past." The young master said as he sat down beside MiQian.

Ran MiQian was powerful, feared and - unknown. Yes, his existence was almost insignificant, even though everyone feared him. Because no one knew him. He was just too good!
But after his mysterious death, a new soul possesses his body. Because Ran MiQian belongs to a novel! And he is the villain, the catalyst of every catastrophe!
The problem? He is absolutely clueless...

I'm sorry if anyone is waiting from me to release any of the chapters for the story, but I'm going to have to reschedule sometime in the future but don't worry I'm not going to give up on this story, but I we'll be writing a story called [ My demon king role!] you could check it out, I'm practising and learning with out worrying about the storyline being perfect that I well be satisfied with because I want

I just started learning how to explain my words and I want the story to flow.

If anyone is asking why I never wrote a message or chapter I we'll explain why. 

Remember when I said I live alone and I got hurt then sick. Well at that time I had to skip my class to recover at home but by the time I recovered I had so much work and my deadline was coming up soon, so I studied alone working like a mad man I passed my classes so me and other people get along holiday but because of all that work (big as 2 dictionary books) 

My reason because I was far behind from classes I missed when I was younger so I had to do other classes at the same time but by the time I finished I felt exhausted mentally and physically so on my spare time I was just relaxing my mind and body I have recovered but I was worried what to write so i thought of an idea why don't I just make a new light novel for practice and to write to my hearts content without worrying, but my other thought (but what do I write?) then it hit me I remember a story I was making when I was even younger 
(was on paper) I could write about that, thus that's how I came to a new novel I write and writing as I go on now. 

(Sigh) I'm sorry if you don't believe me but that's the truth. I'm explaining while trying to keep the story short about why the writer (me) and what's happening with my new idea for future updates.
