In an almost empty void with nothing but chaos and disarray, there was suddenly an area of pure white, of order. In this area of order, the chaos energy that was found on the outside of the orderly white void gathers in the center of this void is the seed of creation, building up slowly as time doesn't exist as there wasn't anything to perceive time, time as it would seem it took multiple millennia before any noticeable change happens to the densely packed ball of primordial energy.
 In the area of order, the dense ball of order and chaos energy seemed to change the unstable energy that makes up this anomaly suddenly calms, like waves in a hurricane rapidly turning into insignificant ripples in a still lake. but the calm surface of the anomaly suddenly starts to swell like a balloon but unlike a balloon, the dormant thing expanded trying to absorb any energy it can devour to continue its development, as soon as the balloon-like thing got all the energy it needed is shrunk down like a balloon being released of all vapor like substances.

In what could be compared to five millennia a drastic change happened to the unknow thing the drastic changes were, cracks appeared. later a certain orb has slowly returned to its original state or at least from an outside perspective but on the inside, the orb has made a drastic change. On the inside, the orb has obtained a type of will. As the orb grows so does its will eventually the orb has enough will to slowly move. as the orbs will eventually turns into a form of consciousness. Once more it seems to take forever the orb of energy truly not known finally opens its metaphorical eyes for the first time. At first the being was confused about everything but as it seems to go the being will undoubtedly try to understand what's going on around itself. So as if a baby the being starts slow and as the metaphorical time goes on the beings slow pace that can't exactly be called slow as the being was going at around the speed of light it was the vastness of the white area that made the being pace seems slow but to the being it felt as if it's bearly moving and as the metaphorical time goes on the being slowly throws away its worries.

As the being finally reaches the border of the white area it hasn't noticed that what's coming up isn't as endless as it appears.

A being clad in white sat on a throne, a Golden gate surrounded with heavenly aura stood infront of him.

A being clad in red with 2 horns on his head sat infront of him, this being had a bad boy type of aura while the other being in silver aura had a more good boy type of aura.

The red being said after a moment of silence, his finger pointed at the being that coverd his face with a powerful mist.

Various beings were behind the entity with the silver aura, while various beings were surrouning the Entity with a dark sinsister red aura.

He didn't say anything but the red horned entity understood what he meant.

The red aura being gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.

"You do know this means war right?"

The red aura being said as he glared at the silverish entity infront of him.

The silver ish being said after a moment of contemplating. He knew he had to do something after such a long time of fighting back and forth.

The red entity closed his eye's and forced himself to calm down after.

"Why?"

The being clad in red already knew why but he just wanted to know the reason from him.

The being clad in white had a faint smile on his face which couldn't be seen.

"You know why, and probably all the represented beings from the races know why aswell. We've been fighting for so long..."

The being stood up and glanced at the gate for a moment.

"I'm...tired..."

The being finally said afterwards he turned around to face the red aura being.

The other entity clad in red demonic aura stood up aswell. A female clad in darkness stood up aswell.

Another female clad in white stood up, her face coverd by a white veil. 

"..it feels like an eternity has passed since our father's time..."

The being in white said as his arms were being his back, he looked up at the white sky as he sighed.

"Yes...such a long time...since...then..." The red entity said quietly. His voice held a hint of sadness.

"...and now were in this mess because of them...huh?"

The being in white said with a slight chuckle. His hands were shaking but he attempted to hide it.

The red being had his arms crossed, he forced himself to stop shaking aswell.

"I...understand, but I can't stop...I have people to protect..."

The being in red said as he closed his eye's and turned around. The female in black followed close behind, the other races Father's followed afterwards.

The being in white sighed after they left, he held onto the female clad in white. He had to have someone to rely upon after such a depressing time..

During these year's the two leaders of the Forces of Good and Evil fought against each other.

They fought and fought until they both died.

But, Divine Entitys couldn't actually die and only reincarnated...

and now they were born as two halves of the same being.

They found both of them in an alternate universe and one in the main universe which they now trained in.

He could only watch on as his Father, or Reincarnated Father trained in the mortal world without a care in the world.

His mother wasn't known, maybe he sent her into hiding a long time ago and as such she wasn't killed.

But, anyways. Afterwards, 2 beings were born.2 beings with destinys that intertwined. One had to die for the other to live. And as such the father split up!

A Good side was born.

An Evil side was created.

This caused rippled in Reality as we knew it.

If they fought a Universe was destroyed, a single punch eminated could shake the Multi-Verse.

A kick destroyed billions of galaxy's, millions of Universes and thousands of multiverses.

Because the aura of the kick would be hundreds of times stronger then the punch.

But, they were created again after the Good being thought about it.

As a caged bird, Yufang flew free escaping the ocean's elusive grasp, launching himself far above, Yufang soared hundreds and hundreds of meters into the sky hovering far above an island where he reigns supreme. 

Over this island his alone, Yufang breathed out, exhaling a sigh of relief. Never looking to the ocean below, he laughed, and screamed, "Hah-ah-a-ha-, you trash do you dare come up here to fight me?"

On the water's surface, dark spots began to appear, thousands upon thousands of dark spots hundreds of meters wide.

Smiling widely over the world, Yufang muttered, "A display of fireworks lights the sky above... Wait a display of fireworks lights the sky above?!" Looking closer Yufang in a great panic cursed, "FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! No!!! I was joking why would you follow me?..."

This grand array of fireworks celebrating Yufang's escape... Unfortunately for Yufang fireworks they truly were not, for their in the sky above, tens of thousands of species of different fish and from these species, the sky was painted a myriad of shades, and colors. At such a spectacle, to be lucky enough to witness such an oddity, Yufang coughed blood.

Floating aimlessly in the sky, panic. Waving his arms around, and kicking his legs Yufang aimed to escape. However, this was the sky, being a caged bird, and flying free was only an idiom, to fly free Yufang could now only wish. Aimlessly he fell, an inadequate bird, incapable of flight.

Overlord, a being that falters not even in death. Overlord a name given to a man crazed, a man that looks death straight in the eye, with a smile upon his face.

Overlord, undoubtedly Yufang was none. For across his face, true panic, and like a flightless chicken falling to its death, he flapped and flapped his wings, but as a chicken, he flapped to no prevail, for even the flightless of birds, Yufang was not, he was a Human inept incapable of flight, and wings? He had not.

Plummeting to the earth's surface, a man feeble. Yufang's strength drained all he could do now was pray. 

For salvation he could only pray.

His fall safe, but what was to come after, those thousands soaring high above. The beautiful array of fireworks above would soon fall upon this land cursed, and with their fall a Yufang below would be crushed into a state of no return, Yufang undoubtedly would be crushed into oblivion.

To this island, demonic a mere 230 meters sat between Yufang and it. Yufang a young man standing at 6'1 and weighing in at 119lbs (54kgs) forsaken by gravity fell hundreds of meters a second.

Between here and impact, Yufang had 2.3 seconds to think. 2.3 seconds to find a path new. No one would wait, his time-limited Yufang's mind was pushed to its very limits, "Tick, tick, tick, tick." Time waits for no one, the clock ticks without remorse.       

Yufang was in a predicament, a second passed, and thousands of ideas had appeared, but none of which were viable, for each thought depended on the ability of his past self, truly Yufang was in a desperate situation.

...All that remained now a mere 1.3 seconds, Yufang now really racking his brain pushed himself beyond humanly possible, he pushed his brain to 4000% for an answer.

However, it was useless 5 meters from the ground, Yufang's time was depleted. Closing his eyes Yufang prepared for death.

To admit defeat, to lose heart, to surrender, Yufang would never. Yufang would never push himself so far as to demean himself by being crushed under overfed goldfish, regaining his composure Yufang panicked no longer, time slowed and in the depths of his own darkness, mere milliseconds away from death, Yufang thought of something, but sighing there was nothing he could do, his time was long gone.

Time. A mere concept created by mortals. To Yufang, this thing called time held meaningless, and although now 4 meters from the ground, Yufang put on a smile bright, and let time flow normally once more. To admit defeat, Yufang knew not of such a thing, across all of time life he reigned supreme, and all throughout time, only a select few actually dared to challenge him openly.

Landing on the ground here, mere fish dared at his life, Yufang was angered, he was outraged, his eyes glowing a fiery red, Yufang stood tall and observed these fish hundreds of thousands of meters above falling tens of thousands of meters a second.

He had to pull it off, he had to pull off something so insane it was incomprehensible, he had to pull off this bet to save his life, to show a measly fish who their God truly was, and to do as such Yufang had to overclock his brain to an amount unreachable, he needed to overclock his brain to 9,000,000%. Yufang needed to pass the limits of humanity, nay! Yufang needed to exceed the limits of even the one they call God.

Compressing every ounce of being he had inside him, concentrating everything on his brainpower, Yufang grew dreary, his vision fading, and within his veins his blood ran black. Ceasing to even breath, Yufang on the verge of self-destruction had reached 50,000%, a point that had already exceeded the limit of God, however, this...

It wasn't enough, Yufang had to push further, his goal still infinitely far away, Yufang needed to reach a level where he could calculate everything. To calculate over a trillion possibilities in mere milliseconds and to act upon them Yufang needed it, he needed to reach 9,000,000%.

Under dire circumstances, drastic measures are needed, and so at the edge of life and death, Yufang completely cut off everything, falling down onto his back, Yufang left only his brain and eyes to function.

Concentrating completely, Yufang's eyes ran black with blood, his blood vessels burst, and his muscles imploded.

And here, Yufang overclocked his brain past everyone known, Yufang had pushed his brain to 10,023,098% to calculate. To calculate at a level exclusive to only Yufang, he now did. For each fish above Yufang's eyes began to move, and his brain started its calculations.

On such a mission, while befuddled and thinking beyond possible, no mistakes could be made.

Trillions of ever-changing variables within his calculations. For each of these tens of thousands of fish falling Yufang had to calculate, he had to calculate their very trajectory for each and every moment, he needed to calculate the very time each would meet the ground, and most of all Yufang amidst all this needed to calculate a path he could follow.

However, now Yufang needed to move, he needed to regain movement, with his brainpower falling for every millisecond, Yufang moved. Without a second thought, at the peak of intelligence, Yufang jumped tens of meters in the sky, and doing so he landed on the colossal body of a fish falling.

No time. Never any time to wait, and never having any time to think clearly, Yufang pushed forward doing the impossible, he had calculated it, he had calculated the very path that would lead to his greatest chance for survival.

This path however, ever-changing, but even with his greatly falling intellect Yufang continued to calculate from far below, he calculated thousands, no, Yufang had calculated trillions of steps in advance.

Jumping, climbing higher, and soaring to a place beyond the sky, Yufang traversed space by merely jumping from fish to fish. Yufang had made his way all the way to the top, where he was finally safe, and below him high above Yufang watched as the fish fell at a greater speed than he ever would, to their immediate bloody deaths upon impact with that land cursed.

At the peak of thought Yufang spoke, "Goodbye." As from the ozone layer, Yufang fell with a smile upon his face. His brain overclocked, nothing in this unforgiving world is free, a cost came with everything, and Yufang's price something great, to Yufang all notion of thought was lost. Closing his eyes, Yufang fainted, and no longer in control he plummeted down to a world chaotic. Losing consciousness Yufang entered a slumber, eternal.

Upon a land chaotic, a creature awakens, this creature opening its eyes moves not. A being incapable of thought it laid there in a bloodied mess... This creature without thought, it just laid there, this creature without bones, a horrifying creature that's body was merely a distorted bloodied mess just watched, as the stars above moved across the astral plane. 

Think it tried but nothing. Move it tried but incapable it just laid. Scream it tried but no voice left its mouth. Hungered it cried out but no one came.

An abomination, a being that defied life itself. A creature clearly dead, but somehow it survived and around this creature unknown the remnants of a battlefield. Around this being thoughtless the rotting flesh and bones of countless remain.

Like this time passed by, first days, then months went by, and like this years had passed since the awakening of this creature upon this world, but this creature illogical it remained never to move, however throughout time within this creature something had changed, it grew feelings, it began to yearn it began looking for something more, but as time passed it grew bored, and to this world that birthed it trapping it to look upon the same sky night and day this being it began it felt hate.

Since that time countless years and eras were left behind, but this creature mindless it remained staring off to a world far away, but then a miracle... This creature in a bloodied mess, a creature incapable of thought, moved, this being without flesh nor bones had moved.

Revolting. Truly to see such a creature even show any signs of life, it was sickening, but when it moved... There were no words that could explain just what one would feel upon seeing such a thing.

Mindlessly it wandered, to the end of the island and back, but never once did it leave, it was scared, it was terrified to forsake this place it only felt hate towards.

However, as it moved, something had changed, the hunger that had plagued it for an eternity, lessened. Something on this island had provided it with sustenance. For the first time in its life this being felt happiness, and so began the feast.

Time although having passed, around the remnants, remained, and although now nothing but a rotten substance, to this being this is what fueled it.

Mindlessly it wandered, each movement in this bloodied world torture, and although unable to even comprehend thought, this being felt pain, wandering aimlessly he met the carcasses of those dead, rotting flesh, and blood spread in this world demonic further than all could see, here however this being wandered, devouring everything.

Its life had changed, from looking up to the sky yearning to devouring and traversing this land great, its life for the first time in countless years felt progress. 

Devouring, and devouring, and devouring, and devouring. This being relentless, it moved only wishing to devour everything, and for this being facing eternal suffering, having lived its whole life in great pain, for its first joy, for its yearning of the night sky above it continued on persistent to live.

The eternal clock of time ticks and time passes by once more. To this being, it remained to do all it knew, it remained to devour, and within this creature something changed, deep within, a small flame lit, a flame consisting of chaotic nature sat devouring all of what this monstrosity consumed. 

But then one day it just stopped, all actions towards devouring ceased. Its source of food it had run out, this creature sitting at the island's edge sat frozen it was scared, it didn't quite know why it was scared, but what this being felt fear indeed this was it.

It only knew one thing, no... It knew nothing, but somewhere deep within something fueled him, it called him, it told him to devour, it told him to destroy everything, it told him to devour the universe, it told him to enter the ocean for sustenance. As much as it wanted to it was scared, but it had to, something deep down told him this was its only chance, and so walking down this being dove into the ocean. 

Unbeknown to this being, over time its form changed, this mass of organs and blood, grew blood vessels, it grew veins, it grew tissue, it grew bones, it grew skin, and it gained the process of thought, this being it had evolved, taking form. Entering this ocean it was no longer that monstrosity, but a devilishly handsome young man. 

He didn't know anything, but he didn't need to. For, change he didn't need it, he was happy just the way he was, but his life of happiness permanent it was not. His horizon had to be expanded, he needed to search of a world new, he needed to hunt, he needed to feed himself, he needed to understand what it takes to survive and so the seas this young man turned, for survival. 

A world of sin where all to be contests god walking the endless path of self-destruction.

after being worshiped for who know how long one of the primal god broke it own shackle with the help of faith that was accumulated by it worshiper, seeing one of them succeeded in breaking their shackle, make the other primal gods and primordial devils alike into frenzy.
the primal gods started to recruit more mortal while the primordial devils also started to recruit mortal to become their follower, but it was all futile for the mortral was afraid of the primordial devil thus it was almost impossible for them to have a worshiper.
among the primordial devils there was one primordial devil that turned insane after being rejected countless time by the mortal and in his madness it started to massacre the mortal, even those that was shielded by other primal god or primordial devil, it didn't care about the consequence and started to massacre all the mortal it saw, finally it become the enemy for many primal gods and primordial devils that have their worshiper killed by it.
the mad primordial devil then besieged by the other primial gods and primordial devils alike, and in it last moment it breakthrough it shackle because of the resentment it accumulated by the life it reaped and finally escaped successfully.
seeing the primordial devil method of breakthrough turn the other primordial devils mad and joyful for they now don't need such thing as worshiper to break their shackle, after the primordial devil that succeeded in breaking through it shackle escaped the other primordial devil went back to their own domain and started to kill their worshiper to accumulate enough resentment to break through their shackle.
after the primordial devils finished in massacring their worshiper and have no worshiper to kill left, they started to eyes the worshiper of the primal god. because of this the first war began between the god and devil.
the war lasted for a long time and only stopped after the supreme daos descended, the supreme daos consisted of six daos, the daos was heavenly dao, asura dao, man dao, hell dao, hungry ghost dao, and beast dao.
after the supreme daos descended it split into three portion, the first portion consisted of heavenly dao and asura dao was given to the primal god to comprehend to break their shackle, the second portion consisted of the man dao and beast dao was given to the mortal to comprehend and gain strength, the last portion consisted of the hell dao and hungry ghost dao was given to the primordial devil to comprehend and break their shackle.
after the supreme daos was split into three portion, the four realm started to transform into a form that suited the dao that reside in the realm. the high realm transformed into the heavenly realm because the influence of the heavenly dao, the disappearing realm transformed into the void realm because of the influence of man dao and asura dao, the destruction realm transformed into the hell realm because of the influence of the hell dao, and lastly the end realm transformed into the abyss realm because of the influence of the hungry ghost dao and beast dao.

Indeed, Mathias has been sitting on his computer chair since he woke up until now, an approximate 17 hours. During all that time, he's done nothing productive. He's doing the same thing that he did yesterday and the days before.

'Ahh, I need to do something, anything. I'm bored out of my mind. But what can I even do? Everything I want to work on is impossible for me to do.' He thinks and releases a  sigh. 'Either it costs money to realize, or I am just not capable of making what I want. I've thought of countless ideas, but all of them eventually get abandoned because of some problems, and most often, the problem is monetary.'

Mathias is a full-on NEET, and his only available skill is some programming. His only chance at ever having a stable income is by creating his own company as he is incapable of working for others for some reason. Mathias is now 22 years old and hasn't had a real job for over two years, and even then, the work he had in the past were all short term as he eventually had to quit due to feeling like shit and being generally unhappy with what he was doing.

A year or so prior, Mathias's sister's boyfriend wanted to renovate the window and, as such, scraped the insulation from the window edges. He never finished the renovation, and now his window leaks in cold air all the time. Especially now during the winter months.

As Mathias drifts off to sleep, a quiet female voice makes itself known in his mind.
[Found Apex Gene, integrating system to the Apex Being.
Insufficient energy found for integration. Absorbing energy outside.]

After the voice talks about absorbing outside energy, a strong wind starts to manifest itself inside Mathias's room. Slowly the wind picks up speed as the absorption speed is becoming faster and faster. At the same time, everything around is dying and rotting at a visible pace. Seconds turn to minutes, and minutes turn to hours, hours turn to days, days turn to weeks, weeks turn to months and months turn to years. Slowly but surely, everything on the planet is dying. Eventually, the planets, stars, asteroids, and all objects and mass in the universe turns to dust. All except a slightly overweight man, sleeping.

Directly after the female voice announces in a cold tone, the sleeping man disappears from the obliterated universe. A fraction of a second later, the man appears, still sleeping, inside a forest.

Awakening the Apex Being.]

"Ugh, my head hurts a lot," Mathias mutters as he awakens. He opens his eyes and tries to look around, but it's hard as his eyes aren't used to being in the light, and opening his eyes hurts. "Agh, who set the lights to the max strength," He grunts as he rubs his eyes, trying to get used to the intense light. That's when it hits him. 'Why does it smell like a forest and its fucking way colder than it usually gets in my room. Where is my duvet?'

Mathias quickly gets used to the bright light and can finally see his surroundings.
'Why the fuck am I in a forest?' Mathias asks in his mind, baffled by the situation at hand.
[Responding to the Apex Being: You've transmigrated to an alternate universe due to the destruction of your old universe. As you do not have a place to stay here, you got transported into a forest.]

'What the fuck was that?' Mathias got spooked by the sudden monotone female voice that seems to appear inside his head.
"Who is there!?" He asks loudly to his surroundings.

'Huh? You mean, think like this?'

I've integrated with your brain as you are an Apex Being, I've been aimlessly searching for an Apex Being for a very long time. I immediately integrated with you the moment I found you.
As for me, I am the Apex System, a tool built by the first Apex Being. My purpose is to assist Apex Beings on the path to the Apex.

'Didn't you say you transported me to another Universe, why am I still in Sweden?'

Mathias is stunned but excited at the same time. 'Language barriers be gone, I'm pleased about that. It also means I've got a lot of entertainment to indulge in.'
'Oh, wait a minute, you mentioned that my previous universe got destroyed. What happened to it, why did it get destroyed?'

[A tremendous amount of energy was required to allow me to integrate with you. Your body did not have enough reserve energy, so I absorbed outside energy instead. The amount of energy needed was too much for your universe to supply, the result being everything disintegrating.]

'Wha..' Mathias is shocked, realizing that he is indirectly responsible for killing everything in the universe, including his family.
'You mean, I-I indirectly murdered my entire family and all living things in the universe?'

[Yes, as a side-effect of the energy absorption, all life in the universe ceased to exist. Including your family.]

'Ahh, that's unlucky for them. I most likely can't be punished for it, so whatever. It's mind-boggling, though, to think that I'm responsible for a whole universe's death. No need to fantasize about taking a life anymore, I've sort of already done it. And just as suspected, I'm not too bothered by it. Would I be bothered about directly killing somebody, I wonder?'

'Oh, it's there. It's so fascinating. How do I get the stick out of there?' Immediately after the thought passed, the stick reappeared in his hand again. 'Oh, how easy.' Mathias then deposits and withdraws it again a couple of times. 
'How convenient, but I guess its time to move out of the forest and find someplace to sleep.'
Mathias drops the stick on the ground and starts moving out of the forest.

Mathias is a NEET and lives with his sister. Until one day when he is sleeping, and the Apex System finds him and immediately starts the integration process and eventually transporting him to an alternate universe that is very similar to his own with some minor differences. Mathias is now on the path to the apex of the multiverse.

While Lin Fan was standing up against Gu Hai, two figures floated silently up in the quiet night skies.
They had been observing the happenings below for a really long time now. At the same time, they were pretty astonished at what they had been seeing.
They had not expected someone so resilient to appear in the Ancient Saint World. To think that he could retain such tenacity even while he was facing up against an Ancient race being!
"Just what sort of powers are backing that person?" Within the void, a young man mumbled to himself in utter disbelief.
"He said that he's from the human race. Perhaps that's the reason?" The girl beside her was fraught with astonishment in her brows as well.
It had been quite a while since they were up there watching from the void. Initially, the could not make out the situation at all. Hence, they didn't dare to make any noise. After all, the Ancient Saint World was fraught with dangers. One had to tread with caution in everything they did.
The fact that there was an Ancient race being below was especially precarious for these two figures in the sky.
Even though they were hesitant to head down and take a look, their hearts were starting to waver the more they watched.
The fact that this human race being wouldn't relent no matter how much he was struck down by the Ancient race being was especially heart clenching. In fact, he was even hollering out.
'LONG LIVE THE HUMANS!'
'YOU CAN'T KILL ME…!'
Those words alone were like thunderbolts, striking away at the insecurities within their hearts.
Their race once had the same pride as this man. However, in this cruel world, there were many traitors that had appeared in various races. These traitors backstabbed people of their own races and bowed down to the Ancient race, all in the name of survival.
"Someone like him mustn't die here." The woman beside the man spoke up.
"That's right. In the Ancient Saint World, a loyal man like him is definitely rare." The man replied.
"The aura of that Ancient race being is strong. He should probably be an earth celestial middle-level being. But, if the two of us don't mess up, we should be able to kill him." The man continued.
"Brother Xu, your Vajra Sword Will has reached a state of perfection, where it could meld entirely within the void. If this Ancient race being does not notice us, we can probably do it." The female carried on.
"Alright…" Zhang Xu nodded his head. In that instant, he waved two fingers. A flash of golden sword gleam sliced through the void silently and headed downwards undetected.

Looking at how the Ancient race being was about to breakdown, Lin Fan was overwhelmed with joy. He had already gotten most of what he had wanted. It was time to slay this being!
"HUMAN! WHY DO YOU JUST REFUSE TO GO DOWN…?" Gu Hai howled madly into the skies. The amount of energy that was emanating from his body was wild. In fact, he himself was getting dazed and confused over everything!
"You…" Lin Fan's face was calm right now. However, just as he was about to hurl some insults in the face of Gu Hai, a razor-sharp force pierced down from the void above.
'Holy f*ck! There's a kill stealer!' Lin Fan's face changed. Who in the world could tolerate this? This Ancient race being was about to be killed by him! Yet, someone had appeared and wanted to take this last hit for themselves?! Intolerable!
Whether or not he could level up depended on this Ancient race being!
That razor sharp and relentless sword will pierced through the void. Lin Fan was sure that this Ancient race being would definitely be sliced into two if he did not dodge this sword will.
But looking at the situation before him, it was evident that Gu Hai had not noticed this sword will that was hidden within the void.
"You had better…STOP THAT!" Suddenly, Lin Fan leaped up from the ground. He rushed forward to Gu Hai and sent him flying in a single kick.
At that instant, that relentless sword will emerged out of the void with tremendous force right before Lin Fan as it slammed down deep into the ground.
"Whew! What a close shave…!" Lin Fan could not help but heave a sigh of relief. Thankfully, he had managed to reach there in time. Otherwise, if this Gu Hai had been slain by the sword will, then he would really have to bawl out in tears.
Seeing this, the expressions of both figures in the sky changed, "Hurry! Let's go! Those two must be working together to trick us!"
Looking at how the human had kicked away Gu Hai from his sword will, there was only a single possibility that came into Zhang Xu's mind. That human must not have been what they thought he was! There was a pretty high chance that he was working with this Ancient race being all along just to put on an act!
And just as both of them were making haste to escape, a voice rang out.
"I don't need anyone's help for this affair! This fella has humiliated my race! I have to kill him myself for the sake of my honor!" Of course, Lin Fan could say outright that Gu Hai was his experience points. If these guys were to kill him, Yours Truly would have lost all his efforts from before!
Zhang Xu's brows creased. The girl beside him felt the same bewilderment as well.
Gu Hai, who was sent flying by Lin Fan, shrugged his head and sobered up.
"DAMN IT…!" Gu Hai glared at Lin Fan. He then glared at the two figures up in the skies, as his face got ever more malicious.
"How dare you humiliate the human race? I shall kill you off today!" Now that there were observers around, Lin Fan could no longer fool around with this Ancient race being.
VING!
Suddenly, Lin Fan vanished from where he was. The next time he appeared, he was right before Gu Hai's face.
"What?!" Gu Hai was evidently in disbelief. How could this human suddenly turn this strong?!
"I'll slay…!" With the Eternal Axe in his arms, Lin Fan swung down massively.
BAM!
Gu Hai's pupils were dilated suddenly. He could not believe that he would die in the hands of a human. And one that he had half beaten to death at that.
"I am a Decanus of the Ancient race, and I'm blessed by the Heavens! You shall be tormented with a fate of being hunted down by the Ancient race for the rest of your life…!" With that, something shocking happened right before Lin Fan's eyes.
From the two halves of Gu Hai's body that were split apart by the Eternal Axe rose a singular red light. Those eyes of Gu Hai's body glared at Lin Fan with a demonic gaze, as though they were carving his features into his memory.
In that instant, the entire flash of red light erupted outwards from Gu Hai's body and disappeared between the Heaven and Earth.
'Ding…Congratulations on killing Earth celestial Ancient race being.'
'Ding…Experience points +2,000.'
'Ding…Congratulations on leveling up.'
'Cultivation State: Earth Celestial Lower Level.'

These two looked exactly the same as humans.
However, there was a sharp glow of light that surrounded their bodies.
The two figures slowly descended from the skies, "I am Zhang Xu from the Sword World. This is my fellow race member, Hai Lan."
"I am Lin Fan from Xuanhuang World." Lin Fan replied.
Indeed, the universe was infinitely large indeed. Seemed like humans were not the only beings with their appearances. There were other beings from other worlds that possessed similar looks as well.
But, what was up with this Sword World and what not? Did it mean that they were always playing with swords?

Gaining their powers and responsibilities from the *True Chaos* ,the two beings were born together with the Chaos itself.

Sensing the changes in the Chaos ,they awakened after 20 billion years. After waking up they found that Chaos had integrated in the universe for it's flourishment. They didn't receive a name, just a title, based on their unique abilities which were parting gift from Chaos.

The two beings couldn't heal him as he would die the moment pure Chaos energy invaded his body.

(Diseda) "I don't want to lose my Chaos-core ,but I guess we don't have any other option."

(Diseda) & (Omnia Prime) "*Chaos-construct*; *Law-projection* Descend!!!!" they shouted in union as their divinity surged forth to summon the ancient construct of Chaos,Time and space disruptor to modify the timeline into something suitable for their existence.

A scarlet rift opened in front of them as the two beings took out their Chaos-cores. One shined with a bright white color signifying *Reincarnation* and the other shining with a dark black color ,signifying *Immortality*. Two *Alien X* came out as them traded their cores for a suitable timeline and physical infant body best suited for them, to be born again.

As the *Alien X* retreated they said "We thank you for the transaction in the name of the *Primal god of life and death*, the safe-keeper of their space-time-Chaos disruptor ,we shall now close the rift so that the laws don't collide and destroy themselves." And soon, everything was back to before the emergence of scarlet rift, except for the two ancient beings due to the powers of the Chaos-cores used by the *Care-taker* as the source of the Chaos-construct.

Wizard Marshall Zeltrich has finally obtained the *Essence of primal Chaos* from a parallel dimension after many years of searching which was lost in his battle with Crimson Moon. With all of his injuries healed, he is preparing to assimilate his lost powers.

Two ancient beings belonging to the race of *Authors* are working on creating a *Multi-Verse System* with their own *True Chaos Energy*. Their job is to keep the many Multiverse and parallel timelines from colliding with each other and start a chain of disrupting the *Verse-Law* resulting in the timelines forever.

Since Zeltrich was about to regain his lost powers, they thought of presenting him with a system to troll others (for entertainment purposes only.)

The first thing when I awake, is the face of a woman beautiful but unlike fae, it was a motherly woman with eyes soft and brown and an incredible warmth that burned like fires of the hearth. Oh yes, if there was person who could break my old, shrivelled and jaded soul a warmth like that could undo many. However, as I've said once before. All emotions die with time. You see I once met a woman like that and in the end, she too fell to deaths mortal embrace. So, whilst the warmth of her eyes resonates with my small mediocre body. My soul remains frozen as I feel nothing as the woman hugs me close to her body and nothing as her hands slowly weaken and fall to the ground.
It's funny how macabre it is. That for the woman who wished for me to live to survive I should've died in pregnancy. And for me to live she would die right now in front of me. Still smiling still looking lovingly at me. Even when her body grows colder, and the day grows darker.in times like this I reminiscent about the death of those close to me. How they all perished one by one. And you may ask why you don't just kill yourself if it's that harsh.in truth I have many a time. A soothing voice speaks

Since as a baby vocal cords could not verbalise words, I remained mute

The being replies with a chuckle, and the world shines a little brighter and winds begin to dance as if the happiness of the being is the happiness of the world itself.
"Child, there is no meaning. You have witnessed the birth and death of this planet many a time. Been called a murderer and protector, a villain and a hero, a scholar and a warrior and finally the indifferent one. Of all the beings on this planet, I find your existence intriguing and wonder what you would do when placed in a place so similar yet so different to this world"
The being stops and the world holds its breath

The soothing voice returns

NEW HOPE ORPHANAGE

'That seems perfect…'

I felt myself smiling proudly as I read the board hanging in front of a recently built two-story building in the suburbs of London. The building wasn't excessively luxurious or covered a large area. It was just a moderately sized red brick building with comparatively larger than the normal grass-covered lawn. The only thing that stood out in this building was the homely atmosphere that seemed to submerge the building, exactly the way it was intended to.

The source of my pride wasn't the building made up of dead materials, no, it was what it represented. The building was the physical manifestation of my dream coming true, my hard-work paying off. It was almost everything I ever wanted to achieve. The only thing that it lacked was the liveliness that oozed out of a happy household.

Being an orphan myself, I'd lived in a publicly owned orphanage till I reached my age of maturity. From what I'd heard from the older residents of the orphanage, I was found abandoned near a park by some patrolling policemen. When nobody filed a missing report after a week, I was sent to the orphanage.

I don't remember the earliest of my years at the orphanage. Everything, before I was five, seemed blurry, messy, or illogical. After all, the thought process of a kid is anything but straightforward. Still, there is a memory from the time when I was a three-year-old that seemed unaffected by fog covering the rest of my memories from around that time.

It isn't a tragic memory. It's just a memory of a question, full of innocent curiosity, which was left unanswered for quite some time. I'd just returned from playing in a nearby park where I'd seen a family of three, two adults and a boy my age, enjoying their time together. Upon finding the first adult that I could, I'd asked the question that had been on mind since some time ago.

"Where are my Mom and Dad?"

All that I'd received in response was a look that I couldn't quite understand then. I'd then been ushered to the dining room. After a few more tries I'd eventually stopped asking. It was after a few years that I got the answer to my question.

My time at the orphanage wasn't bad by any standards. I was being properly fed, provided with simple but clean clothes, had other children to play with, taught to read and write and even had the opportunity to go further in my education. The only thing I'd still yearned for was familial love.

The caretakers at the orphanage, while being kind and polite, often unconsciously gave off an aura of fakeness. I didn't quite understand what fakeness was then but it kept me from being emotionally attached to them. Occasionally, some of the temporary caretakers had no qualms in making us feel unwanted and that looking after us was a burden they had been forced to carry.

As I didn't receive the love I desired from them, I made sure that at least those younger than me had someone to depend on. By the time I'd turned 10, I'd become somewhat of an older sister to all those younger than me. Doing so even soothed my craving for a family. There were some tearful separations when some of them were adopted but it was still fulfilling.

At the age of twelve I'd decided that upon growing up, I would build an orphanage of my own. It wouldn't be a large place with tens of children but it would be a place where every unfortunate child would feel wanted and where every member of the orphanage, be it staff or the children, would live like a big happy family.

With this dream as a source of motivation, I'd worked hard, harder than my peers, aced through my middle school and high school, acquired a scholarship, graduated from college, had gotten a job, and worked hard for years.

Finally, at the age of twenty-five, here I stand in front of the building I will hopefully be referring to as my home for the rest of my life.

"This was not what I had in mind."

I said to myself as I caressed the messy, black-haired head of the unconscious boy who lay on the bed. My little Alex, Alexander Williams, my son in all but blood, has been unconscious for over two hours now. The doctor told me that he fainted due to shock; what or who shocked him this much, I don't know, but whatever it was, it better stay away from my son from now on.

After all who would want to face the brunt of the wrath of a mother?

Today was supposed to be a completely normal day; the only special event being the little trip to London that I'd been planning for quite some time. The trip proved to be hit among the children, extremely so. Even Alex, that little bookworm, was enjoying it.

He was looking around in wonder while simultaneously making sure that no other children strayed from our group. The next moment though, almost spontaneously, his eyes widened and his face paled. He looked like he'd see a ghost. Within the moments that I was looking towards his line of sight, and found nothing out of the ordinary, he fainted.

This was not supposed to have happened. Today was meant to be enjoyed. Responding as quickly as possible, I took him into my arms and hurried the other concerned children to the orphanage and called for a doctor.

As the head of an orphanage where I consider all the children as my own, I shouldn't be saying this, but despite all the various children that live or lived, before being adopted, in the orphanage, I share a special bond with Alex. Maybe it was because of us being in a similar situation of being abandoned as an infant, or due to him being more mature than what his age dictates him to be, or him being the only child I've raised from infancy; he occupied a special place in my heart.

'Wake up soon, Alex. Don't make me worry…'

I sighed as I leaned back into the chair beside his bed; my hand still caressing his head. Despite considering him as my son, I never called him such; I couldn't bring myself to act partially towards him with so many young children around. It wouldn't be fair to them. I'm sure Alex would have the same opinion as me.

'After all, he acts like a mother hen around them…'

I chuckled to myself remembering him leading the way and all the other children, even the older ones, following him around in a manner reminiscent to baby chicks following mother hen. Recalling that incident made me nostalgic and I couldn't help but recall the time when I first found my baby boy.

It was a completely normal early September morning in 1972. I'd just woken up and had opened the gates to the orphanage when I found a baby lying on the doorstep. The baby had nothing with other than the blanket that was wrapped around him.

When I'd heard no sound from him, I'd feared the worst; only to find him sleeping. He had been such a chubby little thing, black-haired, white-skinned, and with reddened cheeks probably due to cold morning wind. As soon as I'd taken him in my arms, he'd woken up but unlike most infants, he didn't start crying on seeing a stranger, no, instead he stared at me with his black eyes showing something akin to confusion.

Alex had been pretty weird even as an infant. For about a week after being found, it was almost as if he was doing everything as an instinct, always having a faraway look in his eyes, looking at something that no one could see. His eyes were always so out of focus that I'd at first thought that he'd been born blind and hence abandoned. One could have fed him, changed his diaper, and he wouldn't let out the slightest bit of sound, except some crying from time to time. It had been quite disconcerting to an infant like that. Fortunately, after that unnerving week or two, he seemed to have come around on his own.

Even then, he'd still been weird. He'd started responding, laughing, crying, and doing everything an infant like him did but there was always something about him that seemed out of place. He'd been too calm, too observant, and seemed very much aware as well as cognizant of his surroundings. He never cried unless in need of something, and his reactions always had a forced quality to them like he was forcing himself to act like that.

Believe me when I say that I'd never seen anything more disconcerting than a baby laughing with seemingly dead-looking eyes…

Fortunately, even that time passed. By the time he was a four-month-old, he'd become the embodiment of what an ideal child would look like; cheerful, curious, cute, chubby little guy. He even cried before pooping.

Truly an ideal baby.

As he grew older, he'd become a normal kid albeit an intelligent, mature, kind, and quirky little kid. He disliked meat with a passion that seemed unusual in someone so young. He did have his moments of cute clumsiness but they were few and far in between. He never fought with the other kids for toys but did tease them one way or another. He'd become the unofficial caretaker of all the children, solving conflicts between them, making sure they don't hurt themselves. That particular quirk of his endeared him even more to all the adults at the orphanage, including myself.

God knows that I love all my children but even a mother deserves a break sometimes.

Another oddity with him was that despite being a friendly, bright child, he'd shown a lot of resistance whenever the topic of adoption was brought forth. No amount of coaxing could alter his decision to stay at the orphanage. I'd assumed that it was the fear of the unknown that fueled his resistance, but even seeing other children being adopted into a loving family, and them visiting later didn't lower his resistance; he'd been sad at the separation even while being oddly understanding.

His continuous rejection to be adopted, to gain a loving family, had confused me even as it had angered me. He was declining something I'd only ever hoped to have had as a child. He didn't seem to care how lucky he was to be able to get multiple families to want to adopt him. It wasn't that I'd a problem in keeping him at the orphanage; I welcomed it even, but for all the love and care that I could give to him, it didn't change the fact that it was an orphanage where he was staying at. It could never be better than a home.

After a few more tries, everyone eventually dropped the matter about his adoption.

At the start of his fourth year at the orphanage, I finally decided to adopt him myself. It was then I came to realize that we adults tend to overlook something extremely simple even if it stays in plain sight. All it took was the blindingly bright smile, excitedly jumping little body, and slightly glistening eyes he had when I informed him about my decision. I realized that for him, he'd been at his home all this time and that by forcing him to get adopted I wasn't sending him to a home, instead, I was sending him away from the home he'd been staying at from as long as he could remember.

I'd forgotten that he was different than the other children that had stayed at the orphanage; even if it was due to unfortunate reasons they had experienced changing homes before, he hadn't.

That incident was the only time that I'd seen him crying after he had learned to crawl and no amount of denying on his part could change that later.

A few days after that tearful incident, in which he had not cried, I'd started teaching him, and a few others his age to read and to write. As intelligent as he was, he picked it up extremely quickly. He started spending a lot of time in the library of the orphanage, reading every picture book present in there multiple times. By the end of his fourth year at the orphanage, he had come further than any of his peers. He had even started doing small chores around the orphanage, helping others whenever he could.

As his mother, even if not by blood, I'd become immensely proud of him. He had become the perfect son that I could have ever wanted.

At that time I couldn't have known that the little trip that I'd been planning for his fifth anniversary at the orphanage would cause him harm.

I sigh while standing up from my chair beside his bed. I lean towards him and place a kiss on his forehead while tousling his hair last time for the night. I stand up straight, look at him for a few moments before walking towards the door to his room.

“Too late to regret.” 

I never did understand what it meant. After all, life is too long; you can make up for your mistakes any time in the future. Why rush? And I was proven wrong. It was on my deathbed, at the age of twenty, that I realized that life can be really short too. As a result, I died with regrets.
