After a few minutes if walking, I quickly arrived at the settlement Warehouse. Glancing at the place, the two guards guarding the place are still present and Grace seems to be still bored as ever.

And with my questions answered, I then leave the warehouse and continued my way back to my dorms. Seeing how I have nothing much to do in the rest of the day. I began thinking of things that might make my day more productive. 

I wonder what I should do now... Heisenberg's training won't begin until tomorrow and I don't have any work to do... Maybe I should visit Evee, I didn't saw her and Bobby in the clinic yesterday. So, I wonder where they were. 

Wanting to know what happened to both of them, I concluded that my next journey for today would be to visit the clinic. I might also learn a thing or two about psionics if I visit there. Which might be a nice bonus. 

Heading to the facility elevator, I first made my way to the dorms to put the jacket away. After which, I began heading to the 7th floor and walked to where the clinic was. 

Arriving at the room with a red + symbol, I carefully knock on the door and entered the place slowly.

As usual, I saw not a single person in the place. Quite an odd scene to see, if I'm being honest. For a clinic, I'd expected to see more people working in this place. 

"Why hello there, Bruce" 

"Heh!" 

Out of nowhere I suddenly heard a familiar voice from my back. Not expecting the occurrence, I was caught surprise by it. 

"A-ahh.. It's you miss Lily" 

"I thought I already told you to stop with the "miss" part" 

"Sorry, I just have a hard habit with formalities"

"I guess I can't blame you with that. So, what are doing here anyway?" 

"Right... I was looking for someone called Evee, she was with me in the incident yesterday and was heavily wounded. So, I was wondering if she's in here" 

"Evee huh... The Enhancement girl who carries a sword. She was being treated her yesterday but quickly leaved after her treatment despite our advices on how dangerous it is for her" 

"So... is she okay? Or was she being suicidal again?" 

"I don't think you would need to worry about her, Enhancement Psionic users tend to heal very quickly than both categories. And judging from her face she doesn't look depressed to me, if anything she looked somewhat more pissed"

"Sadly no, she rarely visits the clinic unless it involves some task that we need help with Agents" 

"I guess I have to ask Bobby myself then, speaking of which. Might I also ask what happened to Bobby" 

"Bobby? I don't remember anyone with that name, but there was this guy with an afro hair that was brought here yesterday due to passing out. If he's your guy, then all I know was that after he waked up he was called back to the Agronomy despite his bickering about needing to be with the injured Evee" 

"That definitely sounds like him. I guess I have to thank you for your help miss Lily"

"Before I leave, I was wondering. Why does this place look very quiet? For a clinic I was expecting that there would be more people working here" 

"Well... it's understandable why you would be confused. But considering that we're just a newly built settlement, it's very hard to find some people who have licenses in medicine and healthcare. The only ones we had are only a few and some of them were recruited as part in the settlement's expansion" 

"Does it ever get difficult in this place?" 

"Not really. Isaac mostly does all of the work and we rarely ever get a lot of patients in this place. The only times where I'm having a difficult time, is when Isaac messes something up and wrecks the place" 

"Is Doc. Isaac really that destructive?" 

"He destroyed the clinic and laboratory more times that I can count with his experiments. I'm even surprise that he still wasn't fired from all the messes he made" 

"I see..." 

"Well, despite him destructiveness I can't deny that his a very skilled Doctor. Of all the doctors I've meet, none of them can be compared to his skills" 

"Huh... I never knew... He doesn't really strike me as someone who's very skilled" 

"First impressions can be very deceiving. So, is this all you want?" 

"Right, I think that would be all. Thank you again, miss Lily" 

"Just be careful with your work, next time. You were pretty lucky that you made it out alive"

Finding out that Evee isn't in the Clinic, I began my search at where she could probably be. Not knowing where she personally live, I made my way to the Agronomy to search for Bobby; whom might probably know where she personally lives.

Author Note: I've been playing SMT: Strange Journey lately, so I've been a hard time focusing on writing this. But I'm do surprise of how I'm still able keep up my writing pace, while still able to progress somewhat far in the game.
Another thing of note is that I've thinking of ideas for a different story that i want to make. But seeing how I'm already having a hard time, keeping up my 1 chapter per 2 days schedule. It might take a long time, before that story of mine be realize. (It kind of feels weird writing this, If i don't even know. If people really read this shitty story of mine \(• -  •)°)

"Don't worry. I am not so free that I would interfere in the youngsters' love life," Li Xuancheng said flatly. "My main target is Hong Dali. I think you should already know that."
As expected, the old man's target was Hong Dali. However, Jiang Dongliu was really quite curious about something.
Who was Li Xuancheng? He was someone who had returned after undergoing special training in the High Nobles Headquarters in Dimu Star Sector. According to him, his ability was at best considered lower-mid there, which was why he was not able to remain at the Dimu Star Sector Headquarters. Regardless, he was still considered one of the top fighters in the Milky Way.
Would someone like that be attacking Hong Dali so brazenly because of his grandson?

After some time, Mimin seems to have calmed down again. She still refuses to eat anything for lunch, though.

She hasn't recovered from her depressed state, and her eyes haven't regained their natural shine either. She seems to have regained her ability to think and feel emotions, but I can't tell what's going through her mind now.

She's staying completely silent, not saying a single word, not moving a single muscle. I think she's probably feeling troubled now, but... I can't exactly help her if she doesn't say anything.

Seeing that she's not going to start the conversation herself, I prompt her to start talking.

I have to learn the fireball technique.
According to Mr Warstand it's a simple technique so I have no excuse not to learn it.
If I can't learn this then how can I ever defeat Yazuro.
I have to try my best.
I can't fail to learn it!

So my suspicions were right.
The dummies do gain levels, however at a much slower pace.
This means after a certain point it is useless to train on the dummies unless it's with a weapon.
Now that I think about it I don't know how to use any sorts of weapons.
It's stupid to not take a weapon to battle.
Even mages use their magic staffs as a weapon.
I can't always rely on magic.
I got to learn how to fight with a sword or something.

He took us to the dummies and just told us to try it.
No help or anything.
We just have to figure it out from the demonstration. 
Some people immediately started.
I saw a kid produce a fireball the size of a tennis ball.
It glowed as bright as a lamp.
However...
The aim was awful!
It hit the ground!
The grass was on fire!
The smell of burning grass is quite unpleasant!
I avoided inhaling the smoke as I'm not stupid.

Upon witnessing it Mr Warstand looked at the kid with eyes of fury.
He was pissed. 
He had put out a fire because of someone's mistake.
Instead of getting water he just used air magic to create a powerful wind to blow it out.
That's quite good use of magic.
I never would've thought of to do that.
Despite being sorta annoying he actually is quite skilled and knows what he's doing.

Despite being quite strong at magic and stuff he's making us do push-ups.

For someone from Earth.
Not everyone of course however in this world every man can do at least one push-up.
The ones who can't are the nobles who have never worked once in their life.
In this world and the past of Earth boys used to do physical work.

For years I've helped my dad on the farm.
That means I've plowed the fields by hand.
The tools are quite heavy.
We don't have any fancy technology like a tractor, here we do everything by hand.
And my levels also increase my strength but it doesn't physically improve my muscles but instead it's like my muscles that already exists can exert more force.
Another reason why magic makes zero sense.
Half of it seems plausible.
And the other half is utter BS.
This world obviously doesn't listen to the natural laws nature.
There are literal dragons in this world.

It was literally impossible for dragons to exist on Earth.
There are almost zero species of reptiles that can fly.
Maybe some lizards have wings however all the flying reptiles and dinosaurs died due to a massive astroid.
And according to some picture books I read, dragons look like your standard western dragons.
How can something like that fly!
With their massive size they're bound to be too heavy to fly.
This world makes zero sense if you think about it logically.

Mana created fires can't harm yourself as long as you don't release it.

I'm prepared to face anything he throws at me.
Doesn't matter if he gives 100 push-ups or 100 sit ups or 100 squats or a 10km run.

I quickly ran to the training yard in a good mood.
And after 2 minutes the last student came and we began learning how to...

So he's gonna teach us how to release mana in a controlled manner.
It's easy to tap into high amounts of mana however the less mana you use the more difficult it is to perform spells.
Having good control should allow us to perform spells using less mana.
I should use an example:

So imagine you have a glass of sand.
When using spells you pour out a good amount of it.
However control means we can isolate a single grain of sand with only the movement of your wrist.
But I doubt we're gonna get to that level of accuracy.
 
"Students, I have noticed that you have absolutely zero control of your mana. You keep on wasting your mp inefficiently which is bad. For the next few days we'll be training our control and if there isn't significant improvement we'll spend more time on it. Understand!"

The replies were quite unenthusiastic. Warstand isn't that popular with us. But he created this himself. If you force kids to do things they don't like they'll obviously grow to hate the thing and whoever forces them to do it. These kids came to learn magic and how to fight and yet they're doing push-ups. And his attitude is quite negative in general which obviously makes us more negative.

"We're doing a simple exercise that should help you control it. So what we do is release mana over a long period of time. You should be able to adjust your speed of release so what we'll do today is meditate for an hour or two and I want you to have your mp hit zero at the end of the two hours. There's no cheating in this as I have expert mana sensing at level 6. That's a third tier skill so I can tell how fast your releasing mana and when you're finished. I expect no one to finish until 2 hours are up. I got a pocket watch to tell me the time so begin!"

Meditating!
We're meditating!
We'll the concept makes sense.
If we empty our minds and only focus on the mana we'll have better control.
Not sure if everyone can do it but I think it shouldn't be too hard. And since we're meditating and we'll have empty minds we should lose track of time and not get bored?
Never meditated before.

So I sat on the ground and started to focus on slowly releasing my mana.
I tried my best to empty my mind but it was quite difficult.
However I was determined. I focused all my will into keeping a slow flow of mana releasing at all times.
This was a test of will,control,focus and so much more.
It's not easy!
I soon got into a state of total focus.
Nothing from the outside world could release my focus.
I went into a deep state of calmness. I think my mana is at half  of what it was.
When my mana depleted I awoke and looked at Warstand.

"Nice! Luck, you got 1 hour and 22 minutes. 3rd longest!"

Who could still be meditating?
It was some kid I don't know and LANCELOT!
Lancelot is still meditating.
He's definitely a knight of the roundtable if he could do it for that long!
Leon got out in 37 minutes.
Quite impressive that he actually tried!
Kath got out in 1 hour and 2 minutes. Also impressive!
There were only a few who surpassed 1 hour.
