Liu Gen's POV;
 
Brother Hai and Brother Wei had told me to take care of the interviews, as they will come late and I gave in to help them, it was my first time taking interviews and I thought it will be a piece of cake for me but who knew that I have been duped by both of my brothers, this shit was way more irritating, than those business clients of whom cases I had solved, I mean since 10 a.m. I have been stucked here, interviewing all these clingy species of koalas dressed in a women clothes that too in the size of a handkerchief.

Ahh...(he scratched his head), both of you, I hate you, I can't do this anymore, he said.

 However, the next interviewee who entered my cabin was very different, at first I thought she was a model, she was dressed simply but her entire attire was black in colour, her presence was different than those girls that he had interviewed today, she was not clingy and koala type, she was a straightforward and sincere girl came for a job and not a typical one who tries to be flirty, when I saw her CV, I wasn't able to see her surname when asking about it she gave me an answered that kinda surprised me, upon hearing her answer I understood that she might have a past and should change the topic, she even cleared out the things that I was about to asked her without giving a thought that after saying this she might lose this job opportunity from her hand, later the sketch book that she handed me amazed me, I mean  how can she design something so beautiful and rare, and that too when she is not specialized in. 

Daiyu was a talented gem that our company needs, and if I let her go, without hiring her than their company will lost a precious gem, he thought. 

Without giving any more thoughts to it I hired her, though this is not the procedure their company follows where they directly tell the interviewee that she is hired, normally they call the interviewee by their assistants, and let them know regarding their jobs, but this was the first time that  someone from the company has ever did so, and I was confident about my choice.

After she left, I was sitting at my chair smiling like a fool and busy in thoughts that how can there be so much difference between Daiyu and other girls.

Daiyu's POV;
I never thought that I'll get the job so easily, but I was very happy about it, because I can't wait to complete my year at my school.

Later, I picked some snacks on the way and went to the old age home, where I usually visit whenever I wish and only my mom know why do I go there, and I am thankful for her that she never stopped me.

After enjoying my time with Grandpa Lei and other people, I left for the boutique. There I designed some clothes, while doing so I didn't knew when time passed by and it was already past nine, I left for my house after freshing up myself and dining, on my way to my bedroom I received an email regarding my new job schedule and according to it I have to reach the Yang Group by 9 in the morning, due to which I went to bed early as I didn't want to be late on my first day, as even though I am not an experienced designer in jewellery designs, but still I was given an opportunity by Mr.Gen and I am grateful for him.

20 years old Daiyu never interested in love, hated the word 'LOVE' except the one she has for her mother. She had suspected Deo's real feelings right from the onset but Lucy had been too blinded by work and independence to see the obvious. Even Deo seemed to fight the feeling for a long time. She smiled.

Deo entered the office with a smile on his face even though the smile did not reach his heart, due to the pain he was feeling. He never knew Tola was so cool till now. She had always been hostile, looking at him with hostile eyes every time he went to visit Lucy. He guessed she was just looking out for her friend, but when he tried to break the hostile façade and didn't succeed, he forgot about her.
"Hi Tola" he greeted with the smile still playing on his face.
"Hey Dee" she said with a smile also. Deo did not know why he loved that nickname she formulated for him. It brought a smile to his face, a genuine one. 
"What an honour to have you in my office on a Monday morning. Only a boss like you can leave the office on a Monday morning" she teased, pointing to a seat opposite her.
"I had to. I came to tell you something."
"I am all ears" she said seriously, suspecting that
they were about to talk about her friend.
"I am going to the East" he declared.
"For what? Did you hear anything?"
"No… actually, I was given a contract by one of
the top government officials in the Eastern region  some months ago and the job needs to be executed. You know these government officials, they will not listen to any excuse, no matter how tangible, as long as it involves an agreement. I really wish I could stay or send some of my workers but I have been told that I need to deliver it myself so that I would not have the excuse that the fault came from my employees" his eyes pleaded for understanding.
Tola smiled faintly. She knew he was being sincere but she did not know why she was disappointed. She almost felt like he was running away from his responsibility to her friend. She sighed.
"I also want to use that opportunity to comb that state looking for that filthy peasant. Northern Uganda is already thoroughly combed but he is not
there; Kampala also. Since I am going to the East, I
will make sure I leave no stone unturned." Deo finished. 
Tola smiled again. She could see the love and pain in his eyes and she felt sorry for him.
"It is alright Dee… I understand" she said.
He smiled again. "Thanks a lot. I also want to thank you again for what you did for me; getting me out of police custody."
"How many times do you want to thank me? It is
almost two weeks now" she was surprised.
"What would I have done? I did not know that my lawyer had travelled. If you hadn't been there, I
probably would have slept in that cell for many nights and have those thugs beat me up, asking
me to confess to something I know nothing about."
Tola laughed. She was always happy whenever she had to flex her power as a lawyer. She felt fulfilled because, she was working for a fast-rising law firm.
"You don't have to thank me" she said.
"I have to. Something still baffles me though…
who sent those people to arrest me? As far as I know, that police station is not the one we registered this case in."
Tola was thoughtful. "Yeah… I have thought of that. Don't worry though, I am on it" she said with confidence.
Deo laughed. "I think I should have you as my new lawyer."
She gave a mock bow. "At your service."
"Please don't relent in your efforts. Life feels
useless without Lucy, please" he pleaded.
"You know I can't do that. She is my best friend."
She seemed surprised.
"Thanks" Deo responded.

"Doc T, do you really think she can be discharged
now? Is she fit to leave?" Ray was so worried that something might happen to Brenda and that was the last thing he needed.
"Well, do you want to test her yourself to be sure?"
"I would have loved to if I knew what to do. Is she ready to leave now?" 
Dr. Timothy nodded.
He had bought some clothes and given them to the doctor some days back because Brenda had been putting on the hospital gown ever since.
Dr. Timothy stood up and led the way to Brenda's
room, happy that once again, his hospital had
rescued an almost impossible case. The fact that
her being alive had almost nothing to do with
them was very obvious though; he was sure she would have survived in a poor hospital. She is definitely God's favourite.
Immediately they entered the room, they both
couldn't go beyond the door post as they stared
at the person standing beside the nurse. Nurse
Rola was beaming from ear to ear. The look on
the faces of the two men told her she had done a
good job even though she did next to nothing.
Attending to beautiful patients always made her
like her job as a nurse because she loved to play
dress up.
Dr. Timothy quickly composed himself and went to
meet his patient. "I really would like to meet the
idiot that almost murdered you because I would
love to retaliate. He is however lucky that you
are fine now. How are you feeling now?"
Brenda smiled a little. "I am fine doctor, thank
you so much for everything; you too nurse, you
have made my stay here very lively." Nurse Rola
beamed.
"Don't thank us; we were only doing our job. We
thank God. The only person that needs to be
appreciated is Mr. Raymond. He really tried."
Everyone's gaze moved to Ray who was still
standing at the door.

"Young adventurer, trust me, nobody else would be willing to take you to the sea except me. The Navigators here are too conceited. You're a Warrior, not a Navigator. Those who are killing monsters for living are in guilts, not like those in games, these guilts was like banks and the only way of making money was from killing those monsters.* 

That was some of his thoughts while he was traveling but the moons, three pieces of one moon actually, was rising and the sun was getting lower and lower. Ami informed Azar that this roads had many incidents of bandit attacks so he had look for a place that was well hidden and not this much of hidden that could be the bandits ambush spot. 

Azar was trying to use magic. He was able to use it but for seconds and with no actuall result. He was able to use it because of the blue apples. They were mana fruits. Those who couldn't use magic could possibly try one of those. They called it the willing challenge, if you eat one of those fruits, your body reacts with the big portion of mana and you would either gain a mana core from the apple's heart or make a big explosion of pure mana and destroy everything in 15 meter radius. 

Azar was so socked when Ami told him. ({ <-- this means flashback, that Azar is thinking about.) {As soon as I recoverd after some days of high fever and a couple of weeks till I was able to understand Ami. 

 "Congratulations about passing to the world of magic, Az.". I was very confused in the begging but Ami explained to me for the Willing Chalenge. 

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN I COULD POSSIBLY BLOW YOUR HOUSE IN THE AIR!" Ami broke into laughing with my face that I thought he was making some fun out of me. But he was serious about it. 

"If I go and eat again some of the apples I would gain some more mana?" I said full of hope that I would be able to use magic without too much pain. 

 " If you eat more than your amount of mana you have to pass the exam again with fewer possibilities of passing." I was lucky enought to pass the first, I didn't want to explode.} 

While thinking of this, he found a place to rest, he left his sleeping bag between the tow rocks that was covering him and had a good rest. He woke up safe and sound with his money untouched. *Everything is in the place I left them, now back to the road.* He packed everything back ride his horse and continue his travel. 

He reached Etan after 3 days and 2 nights. The city was very different than his imaginations.*Wow, i thought that the city would have walls guarding it, with guards at its entrance and that kind of staff, instead this city is well guarded with no walls. Well, I didn't expected that its hospitality would reached this level.* Etan's architecture was with the same stone that the richer farmer had because the stone could keep the warmth in and the cold out. 

He found a town guard and spoke to him for information. "Hello, I'm Azar,may ask some questions."  

"I see! Welcome traveller. You can ask anything." 

"Thank you." * Crap what am I supposed to look for* 

"So this is your first adventure. I can understand it from your face. Well let me give you a tour around and give you some information about our Etan. You see, I used to be an adventurer like you, then i took an arrow to the knee and quited. You see our city is well known for its hospitality. That's why we have many inns you can stay, I would recommend you The Wishing Night, it is a little expensive but its service is the best and because you are a traveler they offer you a 50% sale for the next month, it could be here at Etan or at other cities." 

*Business is very developed in this world.* 

"Next I would recomend you to go at the center for gear and essentials for you, how did you pash from Etan's road it's the exact opposite of the Etan full of bandits and thiefs." 

"Thank you very much. Here take 2 coins for your troubles." 

"Thank you very much, kind sir, Azar. Farwell." 

*And as i said... Business in this world is very developed.Let's take care of the where I am going to stay, he called it 'the wishing night'.* 

He found the inn, he went to his room and took a rest. *I started with 30 CC (CC:Crtystal Coins.) the room cost 15 for a week, paid the guard 2 I'm left with 13 CC. I must find a job.* When he was rested enough he took a walk to the center of Etan. He bought himself some vegetables and a bief so he could make lunch, then he started looking for a job. He went to a blacksmith to check out the weapons but everything was too expensive. Suddenly a man with big hands and a beard came out and spoke to him. 

"So you  are interested in my work, huh?" 

"You are doing an excelent work, sir."  

*What am I saying! I don't know anything about blacksmithing, but it's a good opportunity to lower his prices.* 

But life didn't work the way he was thinking and gave Azar a solution to an other problem. 

"Aha, a kid with knowledge, i like you, how about doing a work for me and i will pay you some CC, depends on how well you are doing your job. Are you interested?" 

"Of course!" 

"I like your spirit too, go at this place and deliver this sword" he gave him a piece of paper with an address. *A number? I don't know where is this. But it's a good opportunity to make some coins.* 

"Thank you, if you are back in 1 hour i will pay you 50 CC, almost ¼ of the price." 

"Sure!" 

He turned his back to the 'big beard' he starting walking to a direction and as soon as 'big beard' went back inside he pulled out the piece of paper and started mubbling "Where have i seen this kind of number, there's something that's scratching the back of my mind, i know how to go there. It's a number with 3 digits. An address. That's right! Where is the map? Shit! I left it at the room!" 

He run back to his room took his map opened it and checked it. *Ami, You are the best man i have ever met, thank you so much for the map of Etan.* 

25 minutes passed and the address is very far from the inn. He climped to his horse and started going to the address.  

*A horse, is going with 88.000 meters/hour, that means that it's going with 1.467meters/min. My destination is somewhere near 30km that gives us 30.000meters,with my quick maths, i will do 21 minutes to reach the destination, but i have to go back to the blacksmith wich is near 2km far from the address he gave me, that means 13 minutes. This bastard how could i make it in 1 hour when i am covering 35.000met/hour when i have to cover 40.000met in an hour. It is impossible to go back to the blacksmith on foot! BUT I WON'T LOOSE THIS CHALLENGE!*      

The horse reached it's top speed passing through people, jumping stairs. He reached his destination in no time, delivered the sword and went back to the blacksmith in 59 minutes in total. 

"Hey 'big beard' I'm back!" 

"Ooh, so you like challenges and winning them too. Here you go, 50CC, as promised." 

"Make 75CC because you fooled me." 

"Negotiating after agreeing with the deal? You are lucky that i understand you because my master did the same to me. I like you very much boy, how about learning the art of blacksmithing, whatever you sell you keep all the money for yourself, but bying the materials by yourself. I will give you only a place to practise for free." 

"Deal." 

He took the 75CC and shake hands with the blacksmither. Went back to his room satisfied. But there was one thing that troubled him.*I don't know anything about blacksmithing. How am i going to sell anything!* Azar once again agreed with something that was unfair, but he found a way to make it work.

A teen named Azar , is obsessed with chemistry and engineering , suddenly he find himself somewhere where magic is real. While he is an outlander he has some difficulties to use magic but his obsession may come handy.
