After Anthony and Kris created a way for the Synthesis Magic to stay constant, the first thing they notice was that because one of the intelligences were channeling the magic full time, Anthony's perception of time was at a somewhat regular rate. Secondly, they notice the longer the magic stayed working, the more Anthony's body seemed to adjust, causing the spell to be less stressful on his collective. Now that they were able to have a stable way to ensure their survival, Anthony and Kris could soon start to think about other things. 

"Hey, Kris I'm going to be a hero or villain right?"

"That's what Lady Death said, "It's our destiny."

"Okay if that is the case then we need to start thinking now on how we can ensure that we will survive. I feel like we are at a crossroad to either be prepared for everything or to be reactionary to everything."

"Yep, I feel it as well."

"I think this is the wave pushing me again in one or another direction."

"Then what should we do?"

"Okay, Kris what is the most important aspect of a superhero?"

"A killer costume?"

"No. I mean yes, but I'm only three months old, so I'm sure I would outgrow the thing."

"I know, it's the killer backstory. Well, we don't have to worry about that we kind of got that on lock. How are you doing by the way?"

"It still hurts but, I think, I think I'm finally at the point of accepting what happened."

"What about your dad?"

"I'm sure he knows or has some idea about the situation. Now that I've had a chance to breathe and reflect, I did feel magic around him and our grandfather. I guess they are where we inherited our bloodline. But if I were him; if I were my father, I think I would have done the same thing to me as well. Maybe, well not the same way I mean, I am a baby after all." 

"I'm glad, but back to this superhero business."

"Or villain."

"Sure. What is the most important thing a superhero or villain needs to have?"

"The ability to survive," Anthony shouted out with such joy and confidence. 

For the first time in a long time, everything in Anthony's mind was quiet. Anthony could feel the emotions running off of Kris at this moment. She didn't have to say it, Anthony could feel the emotion of shame and pity of being stuck with him forever. He could feel her disappointment in the answer he gave her. Anthony could feel her accept her lot in life and then he heard her say, 

"Explain."

"A superhero or villain is always put into a situation that in some way shape or form threatens, and or takes away their life. Now I don't know if we get another go around on this Ferris wheel but, I want to ensure we will last as long as possible." Anthony could feel Kris's attention-getting peeked. "We need to put ourselves in a position so that we will not have any more regrets. We need to master magic, that will be our bread and butter. We also need to learn to survive without magic, like; hand to hand combat, wilderness training, how to blend in, languages, the whole nine. Lastly, we need money and an identity separate from this one."

Kris could feel Anthony's intent and said, "How should we start?"

"We were put in this situation because I wanted to rush. I need to look past the moment. We need to start slow. Sometimes we need to do more than one thing at once. We need to create our own luck. We need to master the synchronicity wave."

*Two*

Two months later, Paris was nearing the ancient hamlet in the Himachal Pradesh of Malan in the India subcontinent where he left his grandson. As he drew near, he could feel the strings of fate tightening around his soul. The paths that were once opened to him were closing rapidly as he neared the old cabin. He thought of his brother; the time in which he saved him from Menelaus. He could no longer hide behind his brother — those times were long past.

Paris could see the cabin. He thought to himself with any hope the bastard would have starved to death. That brought a smile to his face. He stepped closer to the cabin but was frozen still. He tried to move, but for some reason, he could not move. Was this fear? Was he afraid? He was either a lion showing pity to a gazelle before a hunt, or he was the gazelle who caught wind of a predator. There was a river at his back. Destiny was in front of him. His last opportunity at life. Paris could feel it, a wave pushing him forward. He walked in.

*Three*

The cabin was not significant. It only had three rooms: a living space, a bathroom and a bedroom that held his grandson. He could see that room from the entrance of the cabin. The room was dark. He left his grandson lying on a mat in that abyss. Now he had to walk in that room. It's ironic; he had to walk into a hell he created for someone else. 

As he walked in Paris felt the chains of fate and the Synchronicity Wave let go of him. He tried to turn around but felt his soul being shackled. His only way was forward. 

Paris took a breath as he pulled out an ornate small knife and cut his index finger. He began to draw a circle with a pentagram in the middle. Surrounding the circle were four smaller ones connected to each end, with runes drawn in the middle. He healed his hand and placed the bundle of owl feathers in one circle and the owl carving in the one to the opposite side. As he looked at his work, he walked towards his grandson and looked at him. He picked him up and carried him to one of the empty circles as the baby began to struggle. He cut the baby's palm and made him touch the rune. 

"By your blood, we shall walk into the abyss," Paris said as he placed the baby on top of the rune. He tried to heal the baby but notice that the boy was healing on his own, so he walked away.  He walked to the last opened spot, cut his wrist and spoke, "By my blood, we are connected."

The runes started to glow the color of blood, spreading from the pentagram out towards Anthony and Paris. The smell of iron filled the room as rattling chains could be heard over the moaning of dead souls. As the blood reached the owl carving a silhouette of an owl could be seen as it let out a silent shriek and all fell silent. When the blood reached the feathers, they began to scatter around the room floating and sinking like plum blossoms. Paris looked at the translucent owl, and after a moment, when he realized it would not do anything he continued. 

"By blood, I am owed a chance at life, and by blood, you are owed a chance at life. If you deny my claims, speak now," Paris spoke as he waited. The blood began to grow brighter. "Your silence shows that you do not deny my claim. Then it is by right I, Paris of Troy challenge you, Anthony Aims Constantine, with our honor as Laughing Magicians to a shadow game."

*Four*

Anthony opened his eyes to see a child sitting crossed legged in front of him. They were in an ample open space, illuminated by the spell on the ground.

"So this is the form you have chosen for yourself," the child spoke as his eyes began to shift to the color of the night sky. His pupil became the color of the harvest moon.

Anthony looked down at himself to see that he was no longer an infant. 

"Where are we, and who are you," Anthony asked calmly.

"I am Paris of Troy, your grandfather. When your mother was pregnant, I felt the call of destiny. I performed a ritual, and it showed me that the twins she was carrying one would be stillborn the other would bring calamity."

"Yes, my brother did try to kill me in the womb, but I was able to survive, but we laughing magicians are just lucky like that."

Paris looked at the boy with shock and said, "So, you know. How?"

"Where are we," Anthony said with a smile.

"Okay, Fine this is the shadow realm a place of chance and fate. It has been decided that one of us must die here because we both do not belong. We are two people out of time."

"In which way," Anthony asked.

"I Paris, born thousands of years ago and you Anthony the boy who outran destiny."

"So what do we do now, do we fight?"

Paris smiled and said, "In a way. You should know the rules; they were imprinted on your soul the moment we set foot in here. Would you like to play a game?"

"Sure," Anthony said with a smile, "But I get to pick the game."

"Fine," Paris said with the smile still on his face. 

Anthony reached up to snap his fingers and made a circular table appear with two chairs. Anthony and Paris got up, and both of them walked to the table. As they sat down, two guns appeared.

"Russian Roulette," Paris asked with scorn.

"A game of chance, we are laughing magicians, after all, let's play a game of luck," Anthony responded, "There is only one loaded gun, we pick a gun, shoot it, last one standing wins. You choose first." 

Paris stared at his grandson as moments after moment passed him by. He reached out many times, and each time he pulled his hand back. 

"Why hesitate, can you no longer feel the wave? A choice lies before you. One to heaven, the other to hell. Will you be stuck in this abyss. Trapped as you had me in that room? Have I led you to die just like you left me to die? You see Pops; you've made a mistake. When you brought me here, my soul was freed from my body. I am finally free," Anthony said with joy and relief, "I can think like I used to. No longer am I stifled by that tiny infant brain. So many questions I had; finally, I can wrap my head around them now that I'm back to 100%. Do you want to know the best part about it pops..."

Paris started to sweat as he quickly reached for the gun, aimed it, and pulled the trigger.

BAM

A shot was fired.

Paris look down to see Anthony did not pick up the gun. He began to smile but felt a sharp pain come from his chest. Then he looked at the gun and saw there was no smoke. The sound of the gunfire did not come from the gun he was holding. It came from behind Anthony.

"How?"

"I never said the guns on the table where loaded," Anthony said as a female figure walked out and stood behind him. She was simply beautiful. She had long shoulder length auburn hair that cascaded over a light well-toned frame. A  white lace, skater dress draped over her milky caramel skin exposing long, slender, athletic legs. Her eyes whereas deep as silver pools. just like Anthony's as he continued, "or the only guns."


The young woman came up and placed the gun she held on the table.

"I have a little understanding on how the synchronicity wave works, and it's simple really,"

"Who is she?"

"Make your own luck," Anthony said with a laugh, "Night, Night gramps. If you see mom on the other side tell her I'm sorry I couldn't keep a few of her wishes."

Paris fell over dead. Anthony turned over to the young woman and said, "I told you a dress would be better than jeans."

Because of a mixup, The Presence enlist Death to make an offer to Anthony Aims to be reincarnated into the body of the twin of John  Constantine, of the DC universe, two years before Bruce Wayne parents death. Read as this mistake becomes DC's own Supreme able to have tea and play chess with the Presence on a daily basis.

After doing 50 pushups Peter finally managed to reach the required amount of strength. Opening the evolution tab once again, Peter unhesitatingly  evolve the ability [Nature's Blood].

Peter heard a mechanical voice on his head when he suddenly fell down to the ground. His body started to feel weird as if there are countless worms that is running in his body.

Veins popping out of his skin as if it's going to explode, His blood vessels started to turn into green color, due to the mutating blood inside. 

"Argghhh!!!!"

Peter screams in pain as the Nature's blood proceeds to his brain, his ability nature eyes automatically activated as his pain intensifies. Peter wanted to tear his own body apart due to the pain that the mutation is causing.

As his body writhes in pain, Peter's sanity also falls down at an alarming level. Blood started to flow out of his eyes into the ground and the surrounding grass started to grow. 

The grass started to wrap around Peter's body, starting from his arm legs and head. Some grass also started to enter his body through his mouth as Peter screams in pain.

Green grass slowly wrapped around peter and began to shape like a ball. His green eyes glows inside the cocoon of grass as if he was a baby about to be born.

"Raikou wait up!!"

A young man is running in the forest, chasing in what seems to be a very huge dog with dark blue fur.

The young man was confused as to why his friend suddenly became crazy and run off to the forest. Normally this dog of his was usually calm and sometimes stealthy even though it's quite huge this dog still manage to sneak up on him.

But now raikou, his dog was running and barking loudly towards something. 

Suddenly raikou come to a halt and start bowing to the ground. The young man saw this and quickly chase after his friend. 

"Why did you suddenly run off?" said by the young man to his dog. However the dog didn't respond, instead it bow dow to the ground as if it was afraid that it will be punished by something.

The young man looks at the direction his dog was bowing to, and what he saw amazes and creeped him at the same time.

It was an emerald ball of grass that glows, it's like an alien spaceship that has fallen to the ground. The young man marvel at this site.

The emerald ball of grass was surrounded by various animals bowing to it. as they watched the emerald ball of grass, a slit opens in the middle of it like an eye waking up in the morning. In fact it was an eye. 

The Emerald ball is actually an eye.

The Emerald eyeball begins to glow brightly as energy charges up in its iris. The building energy causes panic to the Young man and decided to lift his dog out and run away from the area.

He tried hard to pull his dog away from the eye however he cannot move him even by an inch due to his meager strength. The young man then stood in front of his dog in a hurry as he grabbed something in his inventory.

The dog wakes up in his trance as he smell the item that the young man pulls out.

A beam shot out from the eyefollowing a straight path and slowly rotating around the area.

Sensing this, the young man throws away the dog treat that he pulled out from his inventory.

The dog saw the treat and quickly runs to follow it, and the young man chase as well both escaping the ey0e.

A loud scream echoes in the forest as the grass eyeball suddenly explode into pieces

Inside the eyeball comes a bloodied man. His eyes were green and on his left arm was a wooden armor that cover up to his shoulders. 
The man was standing in the middle of the exploded eyeball in a daze.

He looked around and saw many animals on the ground looking at him afraid. His bloodied face shows a creeping smile.

His right hand grabs a handful of grass darts and in one swift motion, he throws on the animals.

the young man and his dog looked and watched the ball of grass in a distance. They saw what happened to those who've been hit by the beam of light.

All the trees for about 30 feet experience a massive change. Their growth accelerated and withered, then the young trees began to grow into sturdy trees changing place with the old one. 

Luckily they haven't been hit.

Although the animals didn't look like they were affected by the beam of light, What the bloodied man did will be the one that will affect them the most.

The young man stood and watches from a safe distance, as the bloodied man throws something to the animal in front of him. and what happened next manage to put a bright smile towards the young man's face.

A wide grin.
A smile that reaches the heavens.
Like a child that watches his favorite superhero fight the bad guys.

But in this case that superhero just killed a bunch of innocent animals, with a method so brutal it makes one puked himself.

Various animals looked in awe at the man that came out of the cocoon.They have witnessed the birth of a man who has been blessed by nature.

however what they didn't know was that the man they're in awe with, will be considered as a heretic of the nature and the one who will cause their demise.

The man suddenly grabbed a handful grass needles and throw it away to the unknowing animals as if it was his blessing.

that piece of grass pierced their body and slowly grows inside them, it manage to enter their veins and started to feed on their blood. This cause the grass to grow faster like a seed that is planted on a fertilized ground.

The tiny piece of grass immediately grew in length and sharp spikes grew out of it.

The animals writhes in pain as the tiny piece of grass started to pierce through their internal organs until it slowly reaches out of their bodies. 

Like an artwork, blood sprays out of their bodies and splattered on the ground as the spikes come out of their bodies, countless red flowers started to bloom around the dead bodies of countless innocent animals.

Kids out there, a piece of advice from me.

If you are planning to join the Justice League, then you should absolutely not abandon one of their female official members inside a male toilet booth.

Because I had the guts to leave Black Canary, sorry, Dinah, in the toilet booth for not withdrawing those words.

She did kinda threaten me so I have the right to resist.

I daze off on my table, watching the handles on the clock tick towards recess while the lessons on the whiteboard grow blurrier by the seconds.

Despite my unusual behavior, the homeroom teacher ignores me, continuing the lesson per normal.

There are two types of students teachers ignore: the godly intelligent student who excels above all without even spending a single second on studying, or the hopeless and mischievous student who is on the brink of no return and given up hope of.

When it comes to me, I am neither option 1 or option 2. I'm the mixture of both elements.

Ranking No. 2 in academic results in my school baby!

Rapid clouting of the school bell bombarded in my ears, snapping my erratic thoughts.

I sense a heavy pat on my back and I instantly knew who it is. It's dirty, playboy Kyle.

Sharp eyes and refined brows. Probably the reason why he attracts as much girls as I do even though he failed mathematics and science.

So anyway, about my school.

Hundreds of, no, thousands of superhero schools erected as the Justice League grew in reputation and influence, lassoing in and cultivating young talent all around the globe.

More and more genetically advanced humans were born, developing phenomenal abilities that science is unable to explain, only able to conclude it as the result of alien DNA or cosmic energy or magical particles that Superman, Martian Manhunter and many different categories of superheroes brought.

Of course, not just the super-humans are valued to hire as superheroes, engineers and scientists are also in dire need to do constant repair for the Watchtower and research advanced technology like teleportation tubes.

These superhero schools nurture the future generations.

With my superpower, I should be on the superhero program, but for some reason, my powers developed later than normal people, which I mentioned previously, occurred when I was 12, like my little brother. 

Don't really know if it's a family problem or not but my brother and I decided to hide our strongest powers from the world for our own personal reasons.

That's why I enrolled in the engineering program despite the fact that I strive to become a superhero.

It could also be because I kill criminals and monsters, but whatever, I'll change the rules in the future. Some do not deserve second chances.

I reveal my powers to Black Canary not to only save a hottie, but also because of her story.

I have already narrowed it down before. After this event, I feel like I acknowledge her true self, that she might actually stand by my side regarding the perspectives I have.

One of her best friends, Oliver Queen, aka, Green Arrow, was hung insignificantly by a newly risen villain on the Great Wall of China after a failed rescue attempt that killed 37 people and resulted in 81 casualties.

It happened two years ago. From that major setback onwards, she changed too.

Once a vigilante, always a vigilante.

She supports violence and I support violence. Although my belief of violence is extreme, I believe we'll get along, because some know that the world needs to adapt to the harsh reality, that most villains are forever likely to remain as villains.

In a serious note, she has been working too hard lately. Even a superhero deserves some quality rest time.

Superheroes are still humans. They feel like humans, they act like humans, they think like humans. They are normal human beings with emotions, shouldering incredible responsibilities. Except for Black Canary, not many human beings can carry that much fortune...

"Ethan, it's fricken recess! Times running out! It's physical testing after this so I gotta eat a lot!" Kyle strangles me from behind to pull me away from my comfy seat.

For your information, Kyle is a speedster, like Flash, but less fast, but as flashy. Eats a lot, sleeps a lot, gets girls a lot. You're welcome Flash, I just complemented you greatly.

"He's right Bacon, quick. I'm actually starving." A red haired, emerald green eyed girl ushered me as well. She's Sofia by the way. She's from Galicia, Spain. We became friends because when Sofia first transferred here and introduced herself, Kyle, who also failed geography, idiotically shouted that he thought Spanish people were brown. That's how he got a good beating and we soon got along pretty well.

"Where's Fatty?"

I pick up my wallet from my bag, the bag which required me to effortlessly get by teleporting home and back within seconds.

"He went ahead to eat first. You know him. He cherishes food over us every time." Kyle snatches my wallet and rushes off first, forcing me to give chase.

"Javelin—11, head to the Watchtower." Black Canary put on her blue jacket, covering her nicely exposed arms and shielding herself from the blasting air conditioning in the spaceship.

"Recognized, Black Canary. Autopilot activated."

Javelin—11 swoop upwards, piercing open the fluffy clouds at the upper reaches of the troposphere of roughly fifty thousand feet.

"Eleven, tag my location just a moment ago and trace a boy named Ethan."

"Target acquired. Device located. Name... Age..." 

The corner of Black Canary's lips curve upwards. "Stop reading info. Just send him a message saying 'I'll be back for revenge'."

"Request granted." The computer answers tonelessly.

She nestles her head against a cushion, tying her golden hair into a bun, reminiscing her last conversation with the mysterious teleporting boy whose name she overheard from his friend.

"Probably not. It's a grudge I'm willing to hold for a while." She remembered herself saying while twirling her hair, smiling.

The boy blushed in response, but kept his face from her sight to hide his look and act chic. "Then good luck escaping cameras everywhere in my school. It won't be easy explaining your sudden appearance in a male school toilet."

"So thoughtful of you." She grunted unhappily.

She then saw the boy rotating back to her direction, hands clasped together and his eyes glowing with sincerity. 

He spoke softly and genuinely, like a gentle whisper. "I watched all your recent interviews. You never smile. Take a good break. Or else age will get to you faster than you can think."

Only then did she perceive the unintentional carefree grin on her face. An action she hasn't done it quite some time.

"I need a good nap as quick as possible." She yawns heavily, closing her eyes to take a quick nap. Stupid boy, he did not even bother to introduce himself...

Steadily but surely, the Javelin—11 kisses a weather ballon as it proceeds onto the next altitude in space.

"Javelin—11, permission to gain access to the Watchtower." A mechanic, automated voice woke Black Canary up gently.

"Access granted." She hears a deep human voice as the large gate in front of her slid open.

"Oh my gosh, it's the Black Canary!"

"I heard that she has apprehended over hundreds of criminals, not including her captures of those berserk outbreak creatures."

"Catch more of those creatures. There is nothing that can stop her!"

"Superheroes are the best!"

Dragging herself through the long twisted corridors, smiling weakly at the excited young heroes greeting her, Black Canary collapses on her bed, slipping off her suit exhaustingly.

Maybe I should allow myself to rest once in a while... 

A display of a group photo of her and other members of the team on her side desk entered her myopic vision. A motivating smirk sandwiched between Green Arrow's curly blonde mustache and goatee. 

"They mustn't have shown any mercy to you, haven't they?" She murmurs powerlessly as the outcome of her restless nights of fighting kick in. "I sometimes wonder. Then why should we?"

She wraps her naked, fatigue body with her thick, cozy blanket, drifting into a deep slumber.

What she didn't notice, is that on her black leather combat suit, faintly inscribes a series of illuminating blue symbols.

The strange symbols look like an enigmatic math puzzle; like a bizarre barrage of numbers; like a representation of sophisticated coordinates...

Oh? I feel an icy tingle on my palms, sending divine chills down my spine, as if I grasp more control and understanding of the entire universe.

The same symbols on Black Canary's suit concoct in the heart of my palms, soon submerging underneath my skin. The minuscule blinking blue symbols flow through my meandering veins, wiping off traces of its existence.

I call them 'Space Coordinates'.

Basically I can leave permanent marks on anything I touch whenever I desire.

Why is it blue? Because it's my favorite color. Blue is awesome. 

Anyway, 'Space Coordinates' obey on command. They can be invisible if I want them to be. They can be the brightest pink, the darkest black, even a dazzling rainbow shade that can blind your eye permanently.

Now, with just one thought, I can shorten the distance between earth and the thermosphere. With one step, I can set foot onto the Watchtower and fulfill my dream.

But no, I'll take a bit more time.

Black Canary needs to rest first.

I stretch my muscles, confidently waiting for my opponent on the Arena ground in this interschool friendly competition used to warm up for the physical test later on.

After this, I can party like crazy in the Watchtower whether those big guys like it or not.

I'm pretty sure flash might join me... aquaman... and... yeah, I think that's it.

Nadius felt himself grow hot as Sheng Mei began to touch his face more roughly. She brushed her soft face against his andhe felt himself react. She let him have one kiss before moving back to the bed where she sat with an amused expressed. She raised an eyebrow. "Henry is a grown up now. He will be all right and either it won't or it will work out. Either option is fine. It's an annullment at the worst possible scenario. Its nothing to fret about. Or do you still need to go back and save him, my love?"
Nadius's weight made the bed dip down more as he pulled his wife closer. He kissed her forehead slowly. Hos voice has a track of mock shock. "Go back and save him?  I don't have time to be a superhero, this is true. However, haven't you always said that Henry is your favorite nephew?"
"He's my favorite when he is not stopping me from getting what I want. Right now he is not my favorite."
Nadius kissed her deeply before pulling back and looking at her with an amused expression. "I can't seem to remember what we were doing last night. It's slipped my mind, I should get back to the city."
"Oh no you're not." Sheng Mei tackled him so she was above him. She leaned down and began to take off his shirt. Nadius felt his inhibitions begin to leave him as he found his mind begin to comply with his wife. Sheng Mei had a point. Henry was not in any immediate danger from a lovely woman. He on the other hand was very happy to be in danger from this beautiful woman.

After going to the out of the way dilapitated downtown hospital, Nolan  was not surprised to find Dr Wu's clinic reception room to be of a similar crowd.  The location was a bit outside of the coty, closer to the suburbs. It should have been a calmer crowd, but wherever Wu went her followers came with her. It had her same messy style even evident in the questionable artwork and furnishings. There was the odd What he had not expected was it to be a riot. 
Nolan's eyes grew wide as the automatics doors slid open in front of him. He stopped for a moment to take in the scene. Then in front of the empty desk was a swath of mothers who were arguing in badly accented english about whose baby would see the doctor next

Near 12 o'clock in the evening, Lin Rui is lying in bed quietly. Tom and Peter have long left, and his parents have fallen asleep next door. Today his 16-year-old birthday is perfect. However, there has been little progress in what Lin Rui has been planning.

Several months later, Lexi's due date was near and at any time she would give birth. Her wedding with Ethan Lu was also postponed because out of nowhere, Lexi wanted their children to be able to witness their wedding. Hence, after her adamant pestering, the plans for the wedding was postponed.  
And then, two months ago, since her due date was nearing, Lexi and Ethan Lu decided to stay at the Yang Manor for a while so someone could keep watch on Lexi's health because Ethan Lu could not be with her as he has to tend to things with his work. 
Currently, the yang family were in the living area of their place and were just spending their peaceful afternoon showing off the stuff of their baby purchases. 
"Dear, look at this princess dress~!" As cheerful as she may sound, Lillian Yang
"Hehe! My little guy will look great in this hulk costume!" Aside from the gleeful Lillian Yang, Frederick Yang competed as he seemed he was about to finish collecting all of the superhero costumes. 
Watching these typical scenarios whenever her father wasn't in the office and would just spend the day with them, Lexi's heart was filled with contentment. 
Months back, Lexi had a baby shower. It was just a simple dinner and slicing of the cake to reveal the babies' gender. Moreover, there were only a select few that attended the simple dinner as Ethan Lu didn't want Lexi to exhaust herself. 
Hence, at that time, it was revealed that the gender of the babies were a boy and a girl. God knows that aside from Lexi and Ethan Lu, the happiest was the Yang parents and Edward Lu. Now, all their secret purchases of their respective genders of the babies, would all be used as they were not just having one baby but one girl and a baby boy!
Just then, the tranquility of the Yang's mansion was interrupted by the sound of the doorbell. Snapping from their Lala land, Lillian Yang put down the baby girl's dress as she hurried to the main door as if they were expecting a guest. 
"I'll get it— it's probably him~!"
Lexi and Frederick Yang just stared at each other shooting a knowing look to each other. One would understand their reaction because, after a while, Lillian Yang came back as she was heartily laughing beside Edward Lu!
"Oh, old master, you didn't have to bring that much." As Lillian Yang and Edward Lu headed to the living area, Lexi and Frederick Yang stood up and slightly bowed their heads as a welcoming greeting. 
When Lexi raised her head, the corner of her brows twitched upon seeing their other maids carrying boxes of stuff that she wasn't sure what its contents were this time. After all, through these last few months of her pregnancy journey, Edward Lu would constantly visit her while carrying loads of different varieties of fresh foods, sometimes, toys and many others depending on his mood. 
Therefore, whenever he comes over, all of the boxes he brought were like a mystery box. Well, although Lexi often tells him that he didn't have to buy too much— Edward Lu kept on insisting. Which was the reason why Lexi conceded in defeat and could only accept all his presents. 
Still, she could not control her under-eye whenever she lays her eyes on the 'mystery boxes'.
"Old Master! How's your trip?" Welcoming Edward Lu, Frederick Yang took a step forward as he welcomed the old man. 
"Hehe, I had a good time. How I wished I could have traveled more when I was in my prime years!" Bright and as always healthy-looking, Edward Lu began to run his mouth again which delighted the Yang parents. 
Lexi only greeted the old master and listened to their usual conversation. In her mind, never in her wildest dreams could she imagine that Edward Lu would grow close to her parents. However, who would have thought that Frederick Yang and Edward Lu had some similarities and bond well because of the hobby and other matters that interest the two of them. Not to mention, Lillian Yang's tea seemed to capture this old tyrant's heart which made it easier for them to get along. 
'Ahh... I hope every day is like this.' Lexi whispered internally as the scene before her brought extreme peace in her heart. She could not ask for more as she has this loving guidance from her parents and Edward Lu. She also was engaged and would soon marry the man who dominated her heart. 
This alone made her feel that what she has right now was like a dream; a fantasy that she never knew was possible in real life. 
As Lexi watched her parents boast the dress and costume her parents brought to Edward Lu as if making him the judge of this seemingly innocent contest that Lillian Yang and Frederick Yang secretly have, Lexi felt a kick on her stomach. 
"Oh!" Her light, surprised squeal instantly caught the attention of the three expecting grandparents. 
"Dear, what's wrong?" Worried, Lillian Yang immediately rushed to Lexi's side. 
"Nothi— aw!" Involuntarily, Lexi's palms were placed on her big bump as if she felt a harsh turmoil happening inside her. Once again, another contraction happened which made her scream a little louder. 
"Mom— ouch!" Holding on Lillian Yang's arms, Lexi's grip tightened as she never felt this extreme pain in her twenty-five years of existence. 
"Oh my god! The babies are coming?!?" Panicking, Lillian Yang's announcement shook the two old men that left them momentarily standing rooted on the tiled floor.

"In the graph, the global market..." Ethan Lu solemnly listened to the presenter standing beside the projector images. 
Everyone's attention was on the presenter and the project he was presenting. No one dared interrupt him as he explained the vital points of the said project. Suddenly, Lyrick Jiang approached Ethan Lu from behind and leaned over to his ear. 
"Master, Old master was calling." Lyrick Jiang whispered. 
Knitting his brows together, Ethan Lu languidly raised his hand for the presenter to pause for a while which was executed immediately. 
Just as Ethan Lu was about to call his grandfather's back, the phone rang again that he answered just before the first ring ends. 
"Gran—"
"Hey, brat! Where are you?! How irresponsible! My great-grandchildren are coming!" Without waiting for Ethan Lu to say what he was about to say, Edward Lu's agitated voice deafened him. 
Upon hearing his grandfather's remarks, Ethan Lu unintentionally slammed his palms against the surface of the long conference table which made everyone flinched by the noise that bounced around the room and then turned their heads to his direction. 
"What?!?"
"Don't what me! My assistant sent you the address of the hospital! This brat! How can you work at a time like this?!" Humphing in fury, Edward Lu yapped as if he wasn't also responsible for why Ethan Lu was busy for being their family head. Regardless, it seemed that Edward Lu already washed his hands clean and nagged as if Ethan Lu was a heartless workaholic.

We went into the shipping container and Maggie opened up a metal cooler Polly had brought us. From inside the cooler she pulled out a box. 

"Me and a professor friend of mine were analyzing superhero DNA," said Maggie.

She opened the box and there were two beakers filled with a liquid.

"What is that?," I asked.

"Remember when we first met with Super P?," said Maggie. "The day I poked him in the chest?"

"Yeah," I said.

"I got his DNA in my finger nail. I preserved it, cleaned, replicated, and analyzed it. It might be contaminated with other people's DNA though, but Super P's DNA must be in there. It's in the beaker."

She closed the box.

"If we can find a way to transfer his abilities," said Maggie. "If one of us gets caught, this might be the key to solving all our problems. With super powers, even if the world thinks we are guilty, we'll be able to live without fear."

It was a long shot. Even if we did have Super P's DNA, the science of genetic engineering was far from perfect. But, a project would be a good way to kill time and get to know Maggie better. My experiments hadn't been going anywhere.

"Let's see the news first," I said, "maybe we were wrong about the cops. Thinking back now, we can't go to jail for just an accusation."

Polly had been kind enough to bring us an internet dongle, it allowed us to have an internet connection on our laptop wherever we went. We searched for our names online and found that a series of articles about us had been published in the local papers. The police had assumed that we were guilty due to our disappearance and were actively searching for us. Furthermore, we were now suspects for several murders. Billy probably committed those murders. Our situation wasn't looking good.

It seemed like we would be hiding for a very long time. I setup my artificial intelligence system to help Maggie with her experiments. We then committed all our time to superhero research. I read several e-books on genetics so that I'd understand what Maggie was trying to do. But a few books were not enough to match the wealth of knowledge Maggie's photographic memory had built up over the years. She did the majority of the research.

I constantly worried about Billy's condition. But, because the police were searching for us, I couldn't visit him. The police would expect me to try. We got updates about Billy's condition from notes Polly sent along with our monthly prepaid credit cards. It was the same news constantly, Billy was still in a coma and showing no signs of improvement. 

Maggie corresponded with Dr Watson, an old friend and colleague of hers that was a genetics professor. The internet made this possible without revealing our location. Dr Watson was someone Maggie felt we could trust to not turn us in to the police. He tested Maggie's theories practically on animals. However, all attempts at creating a super powered animal failed. The majority of the test animals ended up dead.

Finding the source of the superheroes' super powers from Super P's DNA seemed like a dead end. But, that didn't stop us from trying.

Maggie was on her laptop analyzing DNA sequences. She let out a long frustrated sigh.

"What's wrong Maggie?," I asked, "are you hungry or thirsty?"

"No, it's just that, no matter how much I look at the DNA, it looks human. There isn't anything special about it. I'm wondering if it got contaminated. Alien DNA should have some major differences, right?"

"What if they aren't?," I said, "maybe they lied. Perhaps the superheroes are human."

"I asked myself that also," she said, "but that doesn't explain their powers. Is it from their clothes? I don't know. Either way I need a break, how about we watch the sun set today, this place is so congested. We've been in here forever."

"Is it going to be a special sunset?," I asked.

"It always is," she said smiling, "people rarely stop and cherish the small things that make the world beautiful."

We went outside and sat on top of the shipping container and watched the sun set over the ocean together.

Maggie whispered, "Hey Joe, you know. Living together was fun, wasn't it?"

"… and I think you're great too, Maggie," I said.

I laid back on the container and looked up at the sky. Maggie cuddled in next to me. The sun moved beyond the horizon and the stars became visible.  I closed my eyes and drifted into the land of dreams.

DREAM SEQUENCE:

"What's wrong Mag," I asked.

Seven year old Billy got up and stood next to me quietly. Little Mag was in front of us crying.

"My daddy and mommy died," sobbed Mag.

My mouth dropped open. I wanted to comfort her, but no words came out, so I walked up to her and hugged her.

"I'll get some juice," said Billy, "juice always cheers me up."

Billy went into my house, and me and Mag sat down on the porch.

"I have no family now," sobbed Mag wiping her nose with her sleeve, "and my aunt hates me. I don't want to live with her."

"I'll be your family," I said, "so don't be sad, I'll ask my mom and dad if you can stay with us."

Mag sniffed, "Really? Your parents won't mind?"

I heard the door open and turned around. My mother came out of the house, followed by Billy. She was carrying a tray with three cups of juice on it.

"I got some juice for everyone," my Mom said.

"Mom," I said, "can Maggie live with us?"

My mother paused.

"I'm sure her parents wouldn't like that," my Mom said.

"My mommy and daddy died," said Mag sniffing, "and my aunt hates me."

"Oh honey," said my Mom, "I'm sure that isn't the case. Give your aunt another chance. We don't have enough money to support another child."

"Please mom?," I said, "I'll get a job."

"Joe baby," said my Mother, "I'd love to, but you're a lot to handle on your own. Plus, it is against the law for kids your age to work. Anyways, enjoy your juice, I have some chores to do."

My mother went back into the house. Billy sat down on the porch silently. 

Mag started to sob harder and she said, "my aunt wants me to move away. I won't get to see you ever ... EVER ... a-a-A-again. Y-You guys a-are t-t-the only friends I e-ever had. My bestest friends."

"Mag," I said, "we will always be friends. When we are old enough, we will find each other, live together, and take care of each other no matter what anyone says."

"Yeah Mag," said Billy, "come find us when you're older or we'll find you. We'll forget all this stuff ever happened and live happily ever after. Joe likes you, so the two of you can get married."

Mag sniffed and said, "Joe promise me."

"Huh?," I said.

"Promise you'll marry me when we grow up!," said Mag.

I puffed up my chest and said, "I will! And you promise me that you'll become the best person you can until we meet again! Don't cry and become strong and I'll do the same!"

"I will!," yelled Mag wiping away her tears.

I awoke to the sound of birds chirping and the sky slowly brightening. Maggie was already awake watching the sunrise.

"Morning," I said groggily getting up.

"Have sweet dreams?," said Maggie looking back at me smiling.

"Yeah," I said, "you know, I never really understood, why you chose me."

"It's because of what is in your pants," said Maggie smirking, "not many like it."

"I had a dream," I said.

"Was it of me?," she said gazing out at the sea.

"Well yes actually," I said, "or so I think. It was from when we were kids."

Maggie looked back at me with a smile.

"So you remembered finally?," she said, "I wondered how long you'd go on believing that I fell in love with you after meeting you at the strip club. Does that even happen?"

I realized Maggie was the little girl from my dreams. She had known all along. 

"Why didn't you say anything?," I asked.

"But I'm crazy Mags, remember?," said Maggie smiling beautifully, "my weirdness is what I'm known for."

Joe was falsely imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit. When released from prison, he realizes that his record is preventing him from re-establishing his life. He realizes that the only way for him to re-establish his life is to live unethically. However, superheroes appear and proclaim that they will put all unethical people behind bars. 

How will Joe deal with this?

"You did something that anyone didn't do to me. Your my superhero by saving my life..."

What kind of superhero if she can't even protect herself from her own insecurities, all of her youth was destroyed!

"Let's eat!" 

Let's change the topic. Each what he did doing and said leaving her exposed more about her destroyed life.

To back up to lives like this took her strong courageous and supports from her remainders. 

Stop brain! Don't let your thoughts ruining this moment even if I still have majority doubts towards this guy.

Not to said that I don't fully trust him but I'm afraid of any unpredictable could happen between me and him. I did want to try to have some kind of relationship, well, how to be loved by someone and maybe I could learn how to love someone else more than a friend.

"Okay...baby..."

He let go of me and pull out the chair letting me sit comfortably before he went to his side opposite me.

The waiters started distribute the appetizer first. It's consist of a small square sponge cake layered by some kind of jelly in between. The clear jelly not tasted  like what it's looks but much better with the combination of the cake.

That piece of appetizer came with the combination of assorted cuts fruits. 

I'm famished so I did eat them quickly without waiting any minutes. When I hung up my head looking at Z, he just smiled at me didn't touch his appetizer at all.

What was he waiting for?

"Sorry..." a single word coming from my mouth indicated that I just ruining our delicate moments.

I scratched behind my head looking away shyly.

"It's okay...you want more of it?"

"No!....I mean...you book a full courses right?"

He nodded.

"Then I preferred to eat them all, all the different courses." I grinned show off my pearly white teeth.

He smirked looking at my lips and my dimples. The hot and spicy our shared kisses playing on my mind like a movie roll rewinding at the very moment till the end.

Err...I looked away with the hot waves trickled up from my neck to my cheeks before distributed to the ears. I knew the tip of my ears already in red due to the spread out the embarrassment I had now.

He deeply chuckled towards my reaction. Of course it does because he had the same thought as mine and shamelessly he pretending that I was the one who initiated those scene before he took a part of it.

Need two to tango!

I groaned inwardly thinking about that!

The next course coming to our table but Z still didn't touch his first plate.

"Enjoy, sir...madam..." said the waiter after took my empty plate gesturing for us to continue our little festive.

"Looks so delicious..." I licked my lips take the cutlery set on both my hand just to cutting the steak.

I just got the chance to place the fork to the steak, Z exchanged his plate with mine.

Huh? 

When did he cut the steak? How long did I took my time just to admire the beauty before realised how famished I am just now?

"But~" I pointed the steak knife to our exchanged plate more to my unsliced meat.

"Try them first. Here, they were prepared the best medium cook steak as you preferred, baby. I promised you won't disappoint about it..."

After he said that. I didn't waited any longer and took a first bite of chunky fat juicy meat into my mouth.

Orghh...the texture of the meat really good. The chewiness of the meat didn't let my tastebuds disappointed on it. The best steak I've ever had before.

"Wait...how did you know I preferred medium cook steak? Not the medium rare?" I swallowed the meat down to my throat satisfied with the richness of the flavours.

"I did research on your life. Haha...of course I knew it...cause you are my girlfriend...indeed my baby girl..."

Why did I could senses he was trying to avoid the question and reversely trailing the answer by repeating the difference letters that gave the same meaning of the words of him to me?

Did he tried hiding something from me? I might be insecure but I'm not stupid! Just slightly of it can be distinguish how different between silly and stupid from myself if I just having my dilemma or I just get back from any nightmares...

"Okay...." I dragged it intentionally to put more pressure on the bait.

"Actually, I did stalked you back then...almost a year ago... nothing much I know about you just a simple things I knew when I'd be your unpaid stalker."

His eyes, the pair of brown eyes didn't mocking me back. Did he sincere on me, did he had enough about it?

"Trust me!"

'Trust me?'

The two trusted words keep playing on my mind. 

I just heard it from somewhere...before...

I felt like my heart being crashed by the giant heavy stone on my chest.

Should I put my trustworthy on this very guy?

This superhero already lost her soul before. It took me a long time just to repair it back. And now...he requested me to trust him?

I didn't say a word just silently eat the steak. Let the foods entertain me, then!

"Please eat... don't just stare at me..." I said it with my full mouth when I felt the heavy stared on my face.

"It's getting uncomfortable..." mumbling while chewing the yummy steak full in my mouth.

"Alright... I'm eating..."

He cuts the steak in gentlemen manners, shoving the portion into his mouth and slowly devouring it with closed eyes. Looks like he love so much about the meat...

Well, next time maybe I would cook a steak for him...

Err...really? Are you seriously gonna cook a meal for him?

"..."

We were eating all the served meals until I can't take in anymore. It might getting my stomach upset if I have keep shoving down anything on the table. 

Patting down the full stomach, I was brushed off the stained on corner of the lips lazily. What an old habits of herself... whenever she finished the heavy meal, half an hour later she will fall to sleep while resting watching a movie...alone at living room.

But, in the middle of the night she would wake up again to tidy up her messy table and kitchen, take a bath and continued the slumber. For certain times, she couldn't fall back to sleep and just hang out continued watching anything she likes to kill the time.

Now...she wasn't sure either she will fall to sleep or not or...

"Let's get out of here..."

I just nodding agreed to it.

He took the crafted basket while taking the bouquet and handed to me.

I just taking it and it took both my hand had to hold it cause it's quite heavy and huge in size. This time, he drapes his left hand on my waist didn't let go of me...more like he secured me within his reach.

I was using the large bouquet to cover my face and leaving only my eyes to look straight to the exit door, couldn't stay to return the stares that I've gained from the audience.

He guided me until we were at the car. He just opened the back door and snatching away the bouquet before put them both at the back. As quickly his motion towards that gift, as quickly he get ready at the passenger door opening it just for me.

I did entered and leaned on the seat finding the comfort and buckle up before he decided to do it for me like earlier.

Yeah...I didn't mentioned it because I just thought he was going to kiss me once again but no! He naughtyly teasing me by moving closer to me and I had to push myself further from him to the impossibly closer to the door before he whispered just to grab the seat belt for me.

Haiya...what a embarrassing moments and that's when I decided not to say a word while he was driving while I just looking interested into anywhere but him.

Arrgghhh...please have a mercy on my poor old soul.

All this happened just within a range of few hundreds of minutes passing by with him closely to me.

He drove off away from there also didn't uttered any words for me..

Is he mad...now at me?

He just drove to the familiar path...until my luxury home came alive from the distance.

And my car already there in the porch. That scenery did gave me a slightly indifference about my life style with my 'home' etiquette...

Well, having that kind of cheap used car as the transportation didn't gave me a credit to had this kind of home to me.

I did mind about my whole life style but when I'm thinking again...I'm not gonna like to forget where one comes from. I was came from rich family before but after both my parents passed away...I left with nothing so...I had to live with what I have until today and not easily enjoying a things that we call luxury and rich with what ever we wants.

Not to me!

Wait! How did he knows that~ I live here?

I turned my head looking at him dumbfounded!

She has got plenty of summon 'love' letters whenever she was finishing her shipments delivery. All the love letters including her traffic errors by the speed driving, dangerously driving, the red light, and so on. Not to mention about the truck condition when she was having her hand on the 'wheel'; severed scratches, slightly dented almost making her boss losing his mind about her recklessness. 

But, nevertheless she was the only female that always done with the job perfectly. How did she managed it all along her reckless driving? 

No idea...

She was a bit crazy and huge fan of sillyness. Be friends with Romeo and Danny did makes her even more silly about everything. Talha, he never stopped hitting on her...

The triplets really annoying her to the core! Their life style really suffocating her especially they happily making her their private maid. The Hibiscus, their mother never like her or she loathe her very damn much and can't wait to let her vanish forever.

Then, came a guy keep on disturbing her whenever he likes and at the same time, her memories that she kept hidden slowly resurfaces when another man approaching her to gain her interest. He wants to bring her home after he saw her for the first time!

"That is my life. I will live with her not you so I know what I'm doing. Stop pestering me about suitable or not she is to me because look at yourself...*scoff* you are still alone...oops...a divorcee...hope you got it! Now move!"

Oh my...just because of Didie, I'm talking this much? I thought I think to much...weird!

There were someone who doesn't want to be discovered but something happened and she...came out from her true 'hiding'...

Little did she know, the baby girl guy came into her life after a year of her previous 'love' events. With simple text of messages, at first she's just ignored it but it turn out to be something serious from time to time.

Xin Mei stayed at the hospital for one day only. Once doctors were satisfied that all drugs were removed from her body, they discharged her.
After getting discharged, Xin Mei decided to visit Bai Yue. It had been a long time that she had visited her. Besides, she was already planning to visit her after getting free from the filming of revenge.
"Grandma," Xin Mei squealed and rushed toward Bai Yue.
"Xin Mei," Bai Yue spread her arms wide and hugged Xin Mei. "How are you, my daughter?"
"I am all good. What about you?" Xin Mei asked and took her seat on the spare bench of the garden. Su Yuchen also took his seat beside her.
"I am all good and active. I am all ready to look after your and Chen's baby. So, when are you conceiving a baby?"
Xin Mei flushed when she heard Bai Yue. She thought Bai Yue had forgotten about her great-grandchild but, how could she?
"Grandma, stop forcing Xin Mei to conceive a baby. We do not want a baby for now. We are still young."
Bai Yue pouted when she heard Su Yuchen. "But, I want to do something useful! I get bored at home. Especially when your grandpa goes to meet his friends. I feel suffocated when I am not able to do anything. I feel lonely. If you both have the baby then I will not feel bored and lovely."
"Grandma, if you feel so lonely and bored, then why don't you visit my orphanage? There, you can spend some time with the kids." Xin Mei suggested and looked at Su Yuchen.
"That's a good idea. You can visit the orphanage and can teach painting to the kids. I still remember that you are very good in painting."
Bai Yue smiled when she heard them. Their suggestion was not very bad. By spending her time in an orphanage, she would get to do some good deeds.
"I am all ready for it." She gave her thumbs up.
"Ok, I will appoint some permanent guards and driver for you. They will take you to the orphanage daily, ok?"
Bai Yue wanted to protest when she heard guards but she knew no one would let her step out from the Su residence without any guard or personal driver. So, she readily agreed to Su Yuchen.

Xin Mei and Su Yuchen spend their day in the company of Bai Yue. Su Lingtian returned home by the evening to spend some time with Su Yuchen and Bai Yue.
They had their dinner in Su residence itself where Bai Yue forced them to spend their night in Su residence only.
"What do you mean by 'I want to return home?' Isn't this your home too?" Bai Yue scolded Xin Mei. "I don't know anything. Tonight, you are going to stay at Su residence only and that's final."
Both dropped their weapons in front of Bai Yue and decided to spend their night in Su residence only. The four of them played carom for late at night before Xin Mei and Su Yuchen made their way toward the old room of Su Yuchen.
"So, this is your old room." Xin Mei looked at his room with appreciation. His room was of the black and white theme. There was a four-poster bed in the middle, a study table in the right corner which was filled with a lot of books.
A big framed photo above the bed, a painting on the left wall. There was also a shelf that was full of many trophies and awards. In no way, it looked as if this room used to belong to a teenager.
"You were boring as a teenager also. Your room doesn't have any poster or something which is expected from teens."
Su Yuchen chuckled when he heard her. "Mei, I was never a big fan of having a poster of some female star in my room. I was always Mian and Mian." He smiled and wrapped his arms around Xin Mei.
"But still…. You could have at least a poster of some superhero in your room, or video games or something like that. It looks as if this room belonged to an adult not a teen."
Su Yuchen again chuckled when he heard her.
"What to do? I matured before the right age. Your husband had not suffered any less and he did not have much time to think about superhero and video games. I always knew I had to handle Su corporation and that was my only motto."
Xin Mei nodded her head. She then walked toward his study table and pulled out some novels. Most of them were about big personalities or business strategies. There was no fictional novel.
On the whole, his childhood was very boring and she felt a little bad about it.
"Stop thinking bad about me." Su Yuchen gently slapped her head. "You should be glad that I was mature, unlike Su Zixin who still doesn't know how it arrange his wardrobe. You can check it, you will find all his clothes thrown randomly here and there."
Xin Mei chuckled when she heard him. She shook her head, imaging how the room of Su Zixin would look like.

The next day, when Su Yuchen and Xin Mei were getting ready Su Zixin barged into their room.
"Ah, now I can breathe in relief after seeing that you are all good." Su Zixin sighed and wrapped Xin Mei in his arms and lightly hugged her. "I got so worriedly for you. At first, I thought that you were surprising brother and I had accidentally walked on you. But then Huang Chu informed...…"
Voice of Su Zixin broke down. He had become very afraid when he was informed that Xin Mei was seriously unconscious and was not responding to Su Yuchen. He had thought something bad had happened to her.
"From when did you become so weepy?" Xin Mei chuckled and pushed him away. "I never thought you will feel worried about me. Gosh! I think I have died and have reached the heaven. That's why I am imagining an unbelievable thing."
"Stop being overdramatic Xiao Mei." Su Zixin scoffed. "You know I like you very much as a sister and probably, after brother, I will be the one to cry the most if something bad has to happen to you."
He glared and pocked her arm. Xin Mei chuckled when she saw raw anger on his face.
"I know, I know, I know you love me. I was only teasing you."
Su Zixin shook his head and again enveloped Xin Mei in his hug while looking at Su Yuchen from the corner of his eyes.
'Sigh, brother is not jealous that I am hugging Xiao Mei.'


"These are my conditions. You have to agree upon them before we can get married."

"Accepted. Each one of them is accepted. Any more conditions, soon to be wife?"

"Yes, I want your help to destroy my jerk of an ex-boyfriend."

A sly smile appeared on the lips of the men sitting opposite her. 

"With pleasure." How could he let his competitor stay unharmed? He would be having his own fun in destroying the man who had made him taste vinegar a lots of times.

"Something as?"

Before she could even shake her head, he stood up from his seat and held her hand. "Let's go."

"Where are we going?"

"Civil affairs bureau. Any time later and it will be closed."

Xin Mei looked at the man with wide eyes, and before she could comprehend, she was sitting in civil affairs bureau with a marriage license in her hand.

Xin Mei woke up from coma after 3 weeks of long sleep. She faced a brutal reality like every other female lead; her boyfriend was cheating on her with her best friend. Feeling vengeful, she decided to have her revenge.

It's payback time.

"She snatched my boyfriend; I will snatch her career from her." 

"He rejected me. No problem. I will find a more handsome man than him."

"His father made my father beg; now I will make him beg."

And who will help her? Su Yuchen!

Su Yuchen believed that a person can fall in love only once and he had already fallen in it. His belief was broken badly when he met Xin Mei. After tasting a lot of vinegar, he could not wait for another second to make her his wife. He could not lose his second inning in love.
