After I found out that what we are currently learning is spellcasting and not magic I was surprised. It wasn't explicitly mentioned anywhere, but I was able to build a theory from all the scraps of information I had found until Sunday night.
Now while lying in bed, I started to organize all the information gathered so far.
Magic is not spellcasting, but spellcasting is magic.
Spellcasting is an easier version of magic.
Magic consists of many things and thus branched into many fields. However, all magic is cast mostly in the same way, by channeling magic. 
At least 30% of the magic process is always channeling magic. Other parts can differ greatly depending on the branch of magic being used. 
Wands are actually unneeded tools created to make using magic easier. 
It is not much, but that is enough to topple my understanding of the world. My knowledge was based solely on films and I knew that it wasn't accurate, but not that much!
Apparently, magic wands are a European instrument for channeling magic that became vastly popular in America, because it makes channeling of magic easier and faster. However, other continents and regions don't consider wands mandatory part of wizard equipment. 
I pieced it out from wand making books and some history books, where wizards from Japan and China were mentioned. It was never specified that they did not use wands, but from the description of some of their actions I understood simple truth, they used hands to do magic. 
That made me remember, that Dumbledore did not use any words as well after sorting ceremony to call music or other magical stuff, so chanting spells is unneeded to do magic. That got me thinking about why we are using wands or chant words if we can use magic just via hands, silently.
That led to me reading the book of charms for the first year and in actuality, it does not explain one bit how to do magic or how it works! However, it explains how to cast some specific spells by spelling out Latin words and doing specific gestures with wands. 
At that point, I understood, that I needed to practice and experiment with spells, but I was too tired to go out of bed and looking for stuff to experiment with or place where I can do so safely. Moreover, it was very late, so I needed to go to sleep because tomorrow a new study week is starting. 
That's when I thought about the spells menu.

I saw kind of hologram of a hand with wand doing some gestures, moving in a specific way and directions and words 'Incendio' were said during these movements. Words started with movements and ended with them as well.
After that, the wand spits fire from the tip.
I tried time and time again while paying attention to my feelings, body, and wand in my hands. At first, I haven't felt anything but as time passed. I was doing better with the spell and even succeeded once to cast it… by luck. But anyway! Soon, I noticed that if I do move correctly and follow with words, my spell is cast successfully, however, if do a mistake right at the last moment I feel slight discomfort inside my body. 
That is not solid proof, but my theory so far is that spellcasting makes the process of magic simpler. Rather than consciously controlling magic, your precise gestures and words have the same effect. And wands make that process so much easier by simplifying channeling of magic. 
Basically, you have no idea how magic actually works when you do it. Thus, you just know how to cast a spell and nothing more. This is why I call it spellcasting for now. I have not found any official terminology for that. Learning pure magic without wands is indeed harder. I am studying topic with system abilities, for 2 days straight with an adult mentality and I barely scratched the surface, while following some commands I was able to nearly master casting of one spell in a span of… an hour? Maximum hour and a half. 
After thinking, theorizing and practicing spell for a very long time, it was around midnight. That is when I received another notification.

Then I noticed how late it is and decided that it's time to sleep.
*Morning, next day*
Breakfast went calm and Gryffindor was informed of their flying lesson in the coming Thursday. Well, not that it matters to me. I was still engrossed in understanding how magic works. 
I decided for myself, that I can't let myself fail and need to concentrate on subjects at hand and then go into personal researches. Otherwise, fail will be my only result. 
I concentrated on my studies and finishing all the books of the first-year program. And compared to books I read before, I was not reading them for skills or research. I was really studying and memorizing them to pass exams with ease. That meant I spend more time on each book and have to reread them to further memorize the content. 
As a result of me, having a clear goal, time was passing horrendously fast. Sometimes, I wished to have more time in a day. I was getting notifications left and right, while studying, but I mostly ignored them, because there was only herbology skill with new abilities, while other new skills needed to reach a minimum of 15 to grant an ability. As for upgrades I needed to reach 25 or 30 in corresponding skills.
Thanks to rigorous training, by Wednesday evening I got to level 5.

After returning to the classroom and replying to a few of Chen Fan's questions, he started reading the books he got from Old Teach.
He read briefly before his head started to hurt.
General studies included boundless knowledge from various fields.
The central content was one's understanding of their own body.
As a prospective martial artist, how could one train their body and spirit well if one did not understand the composition of their own body.
How many bones were in the human body, how many principal arteries and veins there were, the blood circulation system…
Those were all knowledge that he needed to know.

Under those circumstances, despite having to juggle multiple subjects, they still had astounding comprehension ability and memory. It was mostly these prospective martial artists who took first place in social sciences in all provinces.
Chen Fan's absent-minded words lit a fire in Fang Ping's heart.

After increasing his Vitality by a little the past day, he really did feel more energetic than before. If not, he would definitely feel sleepy after staying up late last night.

If an increase in Mentality could augment his memory and ability of comprehension, maybe the tests in the future would no longer be a problem.
Forget taking first place. Fang Ping would already be satisfied if he fulfilled the criteria.

The classes during the day were mainly revision sessions. 
Fang Ping did not waste any time. Most of the time he was reading instead of doing practice tests.
The teachers did not say anything when they observed his actions. All students had full autonomy over their actions when it came to this moment.
They heard that Fang Ping had registered for the martial sciences examinations too, so they did not disturb him when he took out a book in martial sciences to read during their classes.
A day passed by quickly.
When the afternoon bell rang, Fang Ping did not leave with Chen Fan and the others, opting to go with Wu Zhihao instead.
Wu Zhihao smiled while packing his school bag. "I see you've been reading books on general studies for the entire day. How do you feel?"
"It's not bad. They're not too tough, but there's too much and the topics are too varied." 
"Some of those won't come up in the exams. After you make a copy of my notes, you can revise them.
"If you have something you don't know, you're welcomed to ask me."
"Thank you for the trouble."
Fang Ping thanked him again. It was rare for Wu Zhihao to say something like this during this crucial moment. 
Some high-performing students kept everything to themselves when examinations were near. It would be better for them if they were the only ones who knew everything.
This was also because the martial science examinations were not limited to one class, of course.
Wu Zhihao did not see Fang Ping as a potential opponent. His opponents were those from the elite classes, all the high-performing students in Sun City, or even from the entire country.
Fang Ping, someone that did not understand even the most basic fundamentals, was destined not to be someone that he wanted to surpass.

It was about a ten-minute walk from the school. It was also in a residential area, but the environment was nice and it was considered as rather top-notch among those in Sun City.
Fang Ping looked at the area when they arrived. He was somewhat surprised as he had assumed that Wu Zhihao would live in a bungalow at the least.
Fang Ping did not know much about this long-time classmate of his, actually. They did not interact much, even in his past life. 
He thought about it again and realized Wu Zhihao's circumstances were quite normal.
Even though Wu Zhihao lived in decent conditions, they were limited, else he would be in an elite class. If one did not qualify, they could just throw some money in to buy their way into the elite classes in high school.
Of course, there were also people who wanted to excel in a normal class instead of being mediocre in an elite class, thus choosing to study in a normal class deliberately. Those were the exception.
This area was of a higher-class, so the management was more responsible. Unlike Fang Ping's area, where anyone could enter, the tenants here had to swipe an access card to enter. 
The two of them entered the area. While they were walking, Wu Zhihao said, "The day after tomorrow, Senior Wang is going to come to our school. I don't know if we can get the chance to speak with him personally.
"The school has finally done something decent. Senior Wang is the idol of all normal class students.
"Senior Wang was one of the two normal class students who passed the martial science exams.

Fang Ping bought it in the center of the province, too, so if he really wanted to compare, the price of his old house would probably be higher than this duplex house of the Wu Family.
Also, he had ventured into the workforce years ago and had a vast amount of experience. He had even toured the interiors of some individually located villas in Capital City and Magic City before, so why would he be impressed by a mere duplex in a small city?

There was someone in Wu Zhihao's home: his mother. 
The woman did not say anything when she saw his son bring a classmate home. She exchanged some pleasantries with him before Wu Zhihao led Fang Ping upstairs.
He quickly retrieved his notes and handed them to Fang Ping and led him out of the study into a room next to it.
"This is the gym. The Vitality Measuring Machine is here."
Wu Zhihao opened the door to the gym. The room was simple, and there were not too many appliances. 
Dumbbells, barbells, a treadmill, and a leg-raising machine were in the room. There was one other machine that Fang Ping had not seen before, even in the gymnasiums from his past life. 
It looked similar to a massage chair, but there was a screen connected to it. If he was not wrong, it would be the Vitality Measuring Machine.
He had great intuition. Wu Zhihao led Fang Ping to the side of the "massage chair" and announced cheerfully, "This is the Vitality Measuring Machine, but the one here in my house is a cheap version that cannot compare with the one in the hospital. That one is more like a space capsule, and it conducts a thorough check.
"Ones like this can only check for an approximate value.
"Lie down on it, and I'll connect the sensor for you. You must exert some energy later…"
"Exert some energy?"

Wu Zhihao explained for a while, and he waited until Fang Ping nodded in understanding to gesture for him to sit on the machine.
After he was set, Wu Zhihao picked up several stethoscope-esque "sensors" from around the machine and placed them on Fang Ping's arms, legs, above his heart, and on his forehead. 
"During the physical assessment, they won't stick sensors on you, unlike this time. You'll enter a Vitality Capsule instead, in which you can move freely.
"The capsule can obtain authentic results through a series of calculations. Only then can your true Vitality point be calculated."
Wu Zhihao then turned the screen beside the chair on and said hastily, "You can start now. Remember, strenuous activity includes your mental state. If you really can't think of anything, conjure up scenes from your favorite porn…"
Fang Ping was shocked as he was getting ready for exertion. This guy was not as well-behaved as he thought, so it seemed.
Ignoring the guy, Fang Ping inhaled lightly before he stepped on the pedals with effort repeatedly and pulled his arms to both sides with all his might.
Wu Zhihao stared at the screen beside him with his curiosity piqued...

Fang Ping finally settled an issue after wasting half an hour of his life. He wasn't dreaming nor acting —for God's sake, if acting in a movie could restore his youth, then the film crew deserved a trip to heaven immediately!

After verifying that he had reincarnated, Fang Ping felt a wave of panic before settling down and accepting the truth.

What was the truth? It was that he had indeed reincarnated into a younger version of himself, and since he was equipped with his knowledge of the future, he was going to seize the day and become the next-big-thing in the business world! He was going to be rich!

That was that, until his friend interrupted him.

Ryu Haruto was above average student on Earth. His hobby was reading novels. He was also good in studies too but was easily bored so the hobby of reading novels.
One day after spending whole day reading novels he got tired and got ready to hit the bed for the day. But he didn't think it will be his last day on earth.
He opened his eyes and he saw that he was in a white room with a beautiful goddess. As lover of novels he inferences that either he was dead or he was dreaming. So he decided to talk to the other person present there.
Ryu : "Hello, My name is Ryu Haruto. Can you tell me where are we and who are you?"
Yue : "Oh, aren't you the polite one. My name is Yue, the Moon Goddess. We are now between  the living and the dead."
Ryu : "Can you tell me what am I doing here?"
Yue : "You died and I summoned your soul here."
Ryu : "Eh! I am dead. How? I remembered I was alright before I slept. What happened?"
Yue : "You fell from your bed and hit your head. You died after that and I summoned you here because I was bored. Anything else?"
Ryu : "Oh! *sigh* Why have you summoned me?"
Yue : "I just used summoning and it was random and you are here."
Ryu : "Why did you summoned me?"
Yue : "I want you to go to other world and spread my name. I will give you 5 wishes for it if you're up for it."
Ryu : "Fine, I will do it."
Yue : "So, tell me your wishes."
Ryu : "Before that let me ask. Can my wishes change anything on earth too?"
Yue : "Yes and no. Yes if it's not too much and you can't go there or grant magical powers there."
Ryu : "My first wish is to let my Parents and siblings live their life healthy and without illness."
Yue : "Oh! It's simple. Done. Next?"
Ryu : "I want best energy, body and soul cultivation techniques."
Yue : "No can do. I can give you the best technique for them which are suitable for the world you would go. I can't disrupt too much of the world order."
Ryu : "Fine, but make it that I don't have to change it when changing worlds."
Yue : "This can be done."
Ryu : "Third. I want a personal dimension in which I can control time flow, cultivate, grow plants and animals."
Yue : "Ok but its size will be small  and time is 3 times. If you want more understand space and time laws."
Ryu : "I will take that. Fourth. I want a system with all features helping me reaching the top of the worlds I'll visit."
Yue : "Done."
Ryu : "Fifth. I want body capable of cultivation all types of energy with no bottlenecks and high comprehension."
Yue : "No can do. There will be bottlenecks. You can have comprehension and use it to break through. Now tell me which world you want to go first."
Ryu : "I will go to Naruto world first. Time will be when Tsunade was born." I am coming Tsuna and gonna make you my wife. Hahaha.
Yue : "Ok. FYI, you're a soul so I can hear what you are thinking. So get going and don't forget to spread my name."

Curly Hair worked even harder in order to advance from his learning console to a game console. However, there were some things such as reading comprehension and writing essays that were really too difficult to learn.
Curly Hair wasn't even able to obtain a C each time and didn't know whether he was making any progress.
After yet another test, Curly hair had to defend himself when Fang Zhao checked his learning progress.
"I feel I have made great progress. Not far from a C- now."
Because of this sentence, Fang Zhao changed the grading system to score from 100 marks. On the next day's test, Curly Hair's reading comprehension received a grade of 21 marks.
He wasn't even able to meet the passing criteria of 50/100 marks.
The weather was fine. Nanfeng and Zuo Yu had been looking at a few houses for Fang Zhao and came over to report their findings. Upon entering the dormitory, Nanfeng saw Curly Hair crouching in the corner with his head drooped. There were clearly tear marks beneath his dog eyes.
"Why is our Little Curly Curls crying again?" Nanfeng was about to say "Did you receive a scolding again?" but caught sight of Fang Zhao from the corner of his eyes and changed his tune. "Feeling heaty again? Here, have some fruits."
Nanfeng then brought out a paper box filled with little fruits. He saw Fang Zhao looking over and explained hastily, "Got them from the fruit store outside of HuangArt. I asked already; dogs can also eat these fruits. They are rather cheap too. One box only cost 21 dollars."
Curly Hair cried even harder.
With that, Nanfeng could only have Zuo Yu bring Curly Hair out for a walk. If the dog wasn't in a mood, walking one round would make him feel better. If that wasn't enough, then two rounds was needed. As for everything else… what could he say as an assistant?
Whoever paid the wages was the boss!
Curly Hair didn't seem to be in better spirits after walking two rounds. However, the dejection of scoring 21 marks was quickly forgotten when he regained his self-confidence after taking a math test at night.
The learning console also had reference books compiled by various teachers of various continents. Unless the user loved doing questions, most students would simply have psychological scars from those reference books.
Curly Hair had similar sentiments, but his were slightly more complicated. Practice questions in the sciences were a piece of cake. He could do ten sets of science practice questions in the same time he took for a reading comprehension question. Even then, he might get the reading comprehension question wrong.
After Curly Hair finished the primary school curriculum, Fang Zhao looked through Curly Hair's grades. Curly Hair scored close to full marks on math and science. The only blip on his report card was a narrow pass on language, but overall, it was good enough for him to start the secondary school curriculum.
To celebrate graduating primary school and being one step closer to his own personal terminal, Curly Hair happily devoured five kilograms of dog food.
Secondary school curriculum was more complicated. Fang Zhao added some money to the account to purchase some of the online classes. After watching a few videos, Curly Hair chose the online classroom of a very popular teacher.
The microphone was also turned on.
Sometimes, students would have questions. Of course, there were also students unwilling to turn on their mics and would just type questions out in text.
This type of classroom mode was rather novel to Curly Hair. This was the first time in his dog life that he was acting as a human. He needed to be on his best behavior.
Curly Hair pretended that he was a secondary school student and started his journey of attending online classes.
However, this unique student still gave teachers some headaches.
For example, when a certain teacher that specialized in tackling test and examinations questions said, "Encountering a tough question is like a stumbling block in the middle of a road. How would you go about solving it?"
Curly Hair: "Eat it up!"
"Can this student please be more serious?"
As the other online students roared with laughter, the teacher took note of the online student ID [Little Curly Curls].
Afterwards, Curly Hair felt that the stuff this teacher taught was too simple so he went over to the next classroom and stumped the teacher with his questions.
He wasn't purposely causing trouble. Even though he asked seriously, the kind of questions he asked were either from unorthodox perspectives or were beyond the scope of the syllabus.
For students, those that could stump teachers by asking questions had a "cool" halo in the eyes of others. Some students also took note of [Little Curly Curls]. But, this bookworm seemed to not like accepting friend requests.
It wasn't that Curly Hair was unwilling to add friends. Rather, he remembered what Fang Zhao had said. 
"No adding friends before 'graduating from university' or scoring at least 85/100 for a language examination." Fang Zhao was worried Curly Hair would reveal his identity in a fit of carelessness.
The teacher of this classroom didn't know this. He had spent the past few days studying this student who had asked many crafty questions. Although there was a voice, the student couldn't be seen. The voice sounded young, and the questions were sometimes very naive.
Nonetheless…
There would surely be a vile and sinister face behind this innocence! A wide mouth and sharp teeth were just waiting to bite a huge chunk of his flesh!
Some people were just the best at pretending to be innocent!
"Don't think you can deceive me!"
A question solving genius? He didn't believe it!
How could there be so many geniuses in the world. If this were really a genius, he would have been snatched up long ago. Those at schools weren't stupid. Nowadays, every continent and district were competing for talents. There was no way such a talent would use a learning console's platform to attend classes.
Therefore, it definitely had to be a professional troll!
This sort of situation was commonplace. Currently, competition among online classes was intense. Mutual sabotage occurred frequently. He reckoned that surely this ID had been sent by someone from the same industry. He couldn't keep this fellow any longer!
Right now, what he needed was to think of a reason to kick this person out of the classroom.
After another round of questions left him stumped, the teacher sent a private message to Curly Hair. The main idea was this: You are already very impressive. I have nothing more to teach you. I can recommend you a teacher, for example XXX[link]. Since you have only attended half of the scheduled classes, I will refund you the remaining half.
Don't bring me down. If you want to harm others, then go ahead, the teacher thought to himself.
Curly Hair was also surprised when he saw the message.
"This teacher is really great! Introducing a new teacher and even giving a refund! Woooo!"
The refunded money could be used to buy dog food!!
Curly Hair felt that this transaction was rather worthwhile and agreed to leave the original classroom. He even sent a red packet to that teacher as thanks when he left the classroom. It was mentioned in literature that one must respect their teachers.
That teacher was thinking of agreeing to a full refund if the other party didn't agree. He could only count himself unfortunate this time. He never imagined that the other party would really agree. When he glanced at the classroom's online enrollees, he no longer saw [Little Curly Curls].
There was even a virtual red packet attached to the private message that wrote, "Thank you teacher! You are a really good person!"
The teacher: "???"
Is there poison in this red packet?
Curly Hair didn't know what the former teacher was imagining. After exiting the classroom, Curly Hair clicked on the link the previous teacher had recommended and entered another online classroom.
The new classroom mainly targeted the upper secondary students. There were many people in this online classroom, and more than half had been attracted by the teacher's background and experience at a university that had many essays and lots of lecture videos. A large portion of the introductory web page displayed various awards and honors the teacher had received. These online classes were just a part-time job for him.
Parents were very satisfied with the awards and honors of this teacher, but students were different. They felt that listening to this teacher's lessons was very tiring. Every lesson touched on complex knowledge that left them blank ank unable to keep up, especially when the teacher threw out complicated and rare jargon that wasn't in their secondary school textbooks. Every concept and formula required a lot of time to absorb. There were also many questions that combined the covered material. The students simply couldn't keep up when the teacher spoke too quickly.
However, for Curly Hair, such content was easy to receive. Thus, after adapting for two days, Curly Hair once again started to hunger for more knowledge and had a debate with the teacher over his question response that was marked wrong.
After that, on his third day at this new class, Curly Hair was kicked.
The teacher had forcibly kicked him out of the classroom and left a message. "I will return the money. Leave."
Curly Hair left rather happily.
"You are a really great teacher for teaching without accepting payment!"
Fang Zhao said, "… The newly released 'New Reading Compilation' has good short essays. Go take a look at the first ten."
As before, Curly Hair still couldn't distinguish certain words and sentences. He was also unable to perceive some words with derogatory connotation. However, speech was fine for him. Outside, Curly Hair could listen to someone's tone, mood and body language to determine whether the other party had any malicious intent. However, Curly Hair was still particularly sluggish when facing written words.
While Curly Hair drooped his head and analyzed the short essays, Fang Zhao received a call from Mo Lang.
"The dissertation committee list has already been finalized. The time slot to to defend your thesis will also be set in the next few days. According to the sequence of submitted applications, you will be the first. Prepare early."
There was still time before the dissertation. However, Fang Zhao would the first postgraduate from the advanced studies course to defend his dissertation. Furthermore, there could also be pressure from various other sources, so Mo Lang was worried whether Fang Zhao would be nervous. It was easy to make mistakes during the dissertation defense if one was nervous. Thus, he had informed Fang Zhao beforehand so that Fang Zhao would be able to mentally prepare himself.
Fang Zhao wasn't nervous. The dissertation touched upon his thesis that was completely written by himself. Points that needed to be taken note of had already been discussed with Mo Lang already. Fang Zhao was sufficiently prepared.
Mo Lang then analyzed the dissertation committee chairperson and the members of the committee before hanging up.
Fang Zhao brought up his virtual calendar and checked his schedule. Nanfeng would indicate if there were any new work related matters or things to take notice of. However, there was a period coming up without any events. Many people knew that Fang Zhao would be defending his dissertation. They wouldn't seek him out if it wasn't anything important. Other small matters could be handled by Nanfeng on his own.
Fang Zhao marked out a row of dates on the calendar. This would probably be the period where he would defend his dissertation.
While he was doing so, he received another call notification.
Fang Zhao picked up the call and had yet to speak when the other party shouted, "Hello, Fang Zhao! It's me, Samoyed!"
Fang Zhao: "…."

No longer with a stiff complexion Asher's face was like that of a child receiving a new toy, Asher started looking through the leather bound book
The book started with a simple explanation of what we call "magic" and how do we use it
Magic or Magia in the language of the gods is an all-encompassing source of mystical energy that exists infinite layers above the normal 4 dimensions (AKA: length, Width, height and time)
This source of energy can be harness by people who can use more than 10% of their brains, people who can harness this nigh-infinite energy can use it to manipulate, bend, circumvent and even violate the laws of reality without facing the consequences
Although magic is enigmatic it can be categorized into different principles depending on the way you use it, these principles are:
Mind 
Time
Matter (or states if you wanna sound knowledgeable)
Energy 
Space
Soul
Force
Entropy 
Order
Balance 
Performing magic requires you to be in complete balance with your surroundings
Since magic is present within every being dead or alive, intelligent or not to perform magic a person needs to focus and "feel" the magic within themselves and control those inner magic to reach out and bend the external magic present everywhere around you
Once you have a certain amount of magicol (magical energy) under your control the three most important factors in using magic come into play: calculations,comprehension and visualization
Calculations are very important because you have to calculate everything when it comes to magic from the amount of magicol you need to use to the effect, ramifications and efficiency of the spell everything needs to be precisely calculated or there will be dire consequences 
Comprehension is important because in order to bend one of the rules of reality you first need to understand it and all it's variant so that you know exactly what your spell need to do and how that spell does it
Visualization also important, because manipulating magical energy to achieve effects requires an insane amount of concentration, being able to visualize what your spell will do is essential for concentration 
This is why the minimum requirement to become a mage was that you have the attribute of intelligence above 5 and the conventional training for a magic caster is based on the goal of allowing them to use more then 10% of their brains, because if you can use more of your brain it doesn't matter if an opponent has higher intelligence than you, you're essentially untouchable to them in a magic fight 
(It's pretty strange for them to categorize time and space as two different things since according to Einstein's theory of relativity they're basically the same thing)
Remembering the countless hours he studied physics and theoretical science Asher thought
(Wait that gives me an idea)
A thought flashed through Asher's head giving him a great idea
He poured through the book about the two principles of space and time and using each as a reference point for the other he was able to gain a deep understanding of the two in only about 1/9 of the time normal people would have to study to do the same
(I knew it the principles of time and space have a lot of the same patterns that one needs to follow in order to use both)
(So by studying a little bit of both and using them to fill in on the missing details of the other gaining a high level of understanding for both is quite easy)
Branding what he learnt into his mind Asher decided to applied the same learning method to all the other principles
He used force,energy and matter as a reference point for each other, applied the principles of entropy to the principles of order and balance and finally use mind and soul to gain an understanding of them both too
And so what will normally take a few years to learn for even scholars, this 9 year old kid has learned in less than a few hours of reading
(Ok so I've learned the basics of magecraft now all I need is to practice)
"Now what else should I know?"
Putting the black leather book back to where he found it Asher thought on what he should read next
Exploring the seemingly endless isles of the library he took out whatever book that seems interesting to him
Going through them all he found nothing interesting just more information on the lore of Ziost, the different cultures of the world, and more studies on magic that were just more specific versions of the "ars magica" (Author: I've decided to not do any exposition on Ziost since there's already enough exposition in this novel and it would be more interesting to do some world-building on Ziost in later chapters anyway, nobody likes exposition)
Hours were spent looking and reading books and he still found nothing new until he came across another black book that was titled "do not read if you're not prepared"
As a person of endless curiosity the peculiar title was almost intoxicating to Asher
This new black book contained information on ritualistic magic or "edicts" if you like to use the mage's terms
Edicts are magic that cannot be performed normally and require a catalyst or multiple catalyst to perform, the effects of edicts varies but even the simplest ones are capable if infinitely violating the laws of conservation of mater and energy
The more powerful ones on the other hand can warp reality itself sometimes on a universal scale, cause a total event collapse and rip through the very fabric of existence 
Asher devoured every word and information the book showed him for some reason the things he found in there only made him want to learn more
Many known edicts were recorded in this book but the one that caught his attention the most was a spell called "the alignment of celestial links" which was said to be the most powerful edict ever performed and through all the history of Ziost only one person was able to successfully cast it
The requirements for this edict to be performed is:
"On the day every celestial bodies in the solar system perfectly aligned (which only happens once every 1000000 years) the ritual must be performed at the top of the tower of fate, on the throne of resolution with the piece of nothingness, the book of destiny, the sword of chaos, the all-seeing monolith, the overclock and the blood of the forerunners as catalysts"
If the edict is performed perfectly apparently the person who cast it will be granted one wish by god himself no matter how absurd or impossible the wish it
Apparently only one person has ever successfully performed this edict, and he did it three times using a combination of time-travel and planning ahead,but the book doesn't go into detail on who is that person or where did he came from, they just called him "the dark one", all it tells Asher is that this person has outsmarted the world three times
After memorizing every word Asher felt incomplete because he was still curious but the book had already ended
Deciding to end it here for today Asher left the library and went exploring the city before going back to the orphanage

Defi examined the barrel again, comparing it to the original Bluzand emblem. He smiled in satisfaction when he saw there was no difference. He'd thought himself hallucinating last night, but he'd actually managed to recreate the company's barrel protection/preservation/durability emblem correctly.
He lined up another seven barrels and affixed the glyph-papers he'd painstakingly drawn, activating each to inscribe the emblems on the barrels.
Finally, today, he was going to milk the eight slimes he had fattened for over a week.
He started with the two assigned to Jar's thick flavorful vinegar, both chosen for their slightly viscous slime extract and the fact that it had tasted slightly sour like fruit, not sour like rotting food which some other slimes had smelled like. He'd named the two of them already; Jarvon, the darkish-green emerald-colored slime and Jarto, the green slime with the gold stripe.
He put Jarvon in a bucket and started kneading. 
He'd found some odd stretchy gloves that shopkeepers selling delicate or slightly dangerous seafood or raw materials used. It was made of the cured inner hide of a type of giant seaslug. They called the material thalassen vellum, which was different from thalassen leather which was from a different animal altogether. 
The apothecary he'd seen using the gloves, he only met because his neighbour Allise got a minor fever and her husband was so worried he nearly overturned their boat. Apparently the youngest in the household was the most sensible as he ran to get Bree, who got Defi, who had to go into town to buy medicine because both of the men of the north farm were panicking. 
When he delivered the medicine, his face must have been a sight, because Allise assured him she would be going to the birthing rooms in the town physicker-hall when the time came, and both men would not be in charge of her.
Defi could not say he was not relieved at her words.
The gloves he got went up past his elbows and weren't stiff or uncomfortable to use.
He lifted Jarvon from the bucket, dripping extract. The gloves completely prevented the fluids from reaching his skin. Excellent.
He put Jarvon in a basket of food and filtered the bucket of slime extract into a large bottle. He estimated two litr of fluid had been milked.
That was normal. He poured a sample into a smaller bottle,  
He washed residue off his gloved hands, and turned his attention to the rest of the 'wild' slimes.
After Jarto, came Malvon and Malto, who he hoped could reproduce Malachite's light vinegar, then Larvon and Larto, who could possibly recreate Larimar's lotion. He filtered and bottled samples of everything.
He turned his attention to the two slimes that cost more in feed than all the others. The savras was nearly gone, and tomorrow he'd have to feed them zaziphos until the savras sellers came next week. Of course, that depended on how the extract came out.
He'd named them Zivenof and Zavanas, a reference to an alchemy folktale in Ontrea; Ziv and Zav in short.
The extract from the savras slimes was of a viscosity between Jar's vinegar and the lotion. The scent was of sweet zaziphos and at the very least, the fluids did not seem to be poison. He filtered and bottled them. He would have the apothecary test them for efficacy before he needed to do anything else with it.
He labelled the sample bottles and wrote down the particulars in his slime farming journal. He dug out the sample bottles from Jar, Mal, and Lar as well.
He brought the sample bottles to the kitchen, arranged them on the table, and took out several small bowls. He poured the extract from the thick vinegar into tasting bowls. He brought a bowl to his lips and let a touch of vinegar reach his tongue.
Jarvon's extract tasted well enough. He sipped water to drown the taste, then tested Jar's vinegar to compare.
He put down the bowl, took another sip of water, and tested Jarto's product.
It was recognizable as vinegar, but there was a difference in the taste. Jar's had a richer, fuller flavor. The extract from Jarvon and Jarto were similar enough to each other that he could not discern the differences, save perhaps Jarto's was slightly more viscous. But their extract only approximated the richness of Jar's. If he could taste that minor difference, then it definitely would stand out to the tongues of the gourmand chefs of Ascharon.
He sighed. Mystic crab versus ordinary crab – there really was no contest. Maybe he could get a closer taste if he increased the ratio of crab in the slime feed.
He noted down the results, tapped the pen absently as he thought, then jotted down possible avenues for improvement. 
For instance, Kern's herb hybrids were already planted. He'd stopped most of his nightly forays to heal the orchard land so he could focus the Current on the herbs. They were greedy, greedy little herbs. He could see how they would wither a whole farm so easily. And Kern had planted whole fields of them.
Even with the Current, Defi would not be able to sustain more than a quarter-hecte while he was healing the land as well.
He really wanted to know what effect the herbs would have on the extract from various slimes.
He put down the wool-tipped pen and washed out the tasting bowls. The Jar series vinegar had passed the first test. It would have to pass the Sarel taste test next. Today was a delivery day and he was heading there later in the morning, so it was no problem.
He started on the Mal series next, pouring the light vinegar into the tasting bowls. A minute of tasting, and he was noting down that Malvon and Malto had more of a success. Again, they needed to pass the Sarel taste test.
The Lar series was a bit of a problem. The considerations for lotion were different. It didn't require a taste test. The viscosity of both was good, the zaziphos scent was stronger than in the original, and testing on skin did not irritate or cause a rash. Did he need to send samples to the Bluzand company again?
He packed all the samples in his travelsack, even the originals. He'd get Sarel's thoughts, then head to the apothecary. 
He peered into a basket he'd just set up yesterday. A blue-green slime, a slightly darker hue than Turq's, lay munching on zaziphos inside. 
He almost forgot.
He had to deliver Rocso's slime as well.
He washed up, and grabbed Turq, who'd been lazily creeping along the wooden bench near the food baskets. 
"You know, I've been too focused on glyphmaking to actually look into your species again." He grumbled. "This was much easier with a translator just reading out the passages."
He walked into the central hall, fell into a chair, and opened the neglected books on Abrechal, cradling Turq in an arm while lounging with a blanket around him to ward of the early morning chill. 
Every chapter he tried to read, there was a translation in Ascharonian common, and a dictionary. There were a number of Ascharonian root words from Abrechal, so his progress was somewhat steady. 
After slowly reading a chapter, with reference to the common translation, he took a break to make hot tea. Then he brought out pen and another book in Abrechal, which he tried to decipher without referencing a translation.
The process worked for him. He could now infer about half the meaning of most sentences in the books. Ask him to speak it however, and he'd be lost. No matter. He only needed to know how to read it.
He'd gotten tired of battling multiple tenses with gendered words and was struggling with calculating how to make one emblem activate another when certain conditions were formed, when his current housemates stumbled out of the bedroom wing.
He greeted the sleepy children and went to start making the morning meal, moving Turq from his shoulder to the top of his head. 
The children mostly did follow Aire's schedule of waking up an hour or two after dawn, though from their half-dead impressions as they shuffled into the kitchen he wondered if he should make them sleep earlier in the evenings.
He contemplated his current schedule as they ate. 
Today's meal was milky samad and bread stuffed with grilled fresh Lowpool herring doused in starcherry sauce. 
The oily herring was a sea-fish, said one of the sellers, but the ones caught in the Lowpool had no way of returning to the ocean and were forced to adapt. It was the most common fish in the lake. They were smaller than the common sea herring and less oily, but the flavor was delicate and sweet. The seller claimed that eaten raw, it tasted like a melon.
Defi was in no hurry to verify the claim personally, especially as the seller chomping down on the raw fish in front of him had proved it well enough.
He eyed the children.
"Do you want to move your studies to the mornings, and sleep earlier at night?"
"No," said Renne immediately.
Markar chewed his bread carefully, before answering. "You're busy in the mornings."
"Leaving us here?" Bree looked worried.
"No," he told the child. 
It couldn't be helped that most days his free time was after sunset, and that was when he could help with their studies. Renne and Markar had advanced reading, and could write already, so Defi could only give them the essay questions and logic problems he remembered from his own studies at their age. He'd even asked Orain to acquire a book on the literature of this world so satisfy the 'songs' part of the curriculum, and then a book on the local laws to assist in debates.
As for Bree, the boy often turned around the letters when he wrote, but his reading was coming along fine and his comprehension acceptable. Most of the youngest boy's work was in writing, and Defi had to supervise closely or Bree would gain bad habits.
He also started Bree on reading literature and simple logic, in preparation for history and philosophy.
A well-rounded education was valuable, as the elders said. 
He contemplated that. Should he then start them on handling weapons? They did not appear to be trained; that was an oversight in their education.
"What weapons are normally taught to children?"
The older two, once more, looked at him like he was growing another head.  He was confused. Did Ascharon not teach weapons combat? Natanel had offered to teach him swords, hadn't he?
"Swords!" Bree said immediately.
"You want to learn the sword?"
Bree nodded. "Flying swords."
Defi smiled ruefully. "I can teach you the basics of the sword arts. But the flying is up to you."
As a low-adept, he was allowed to teach apprentices. To teach the advanced arts, a master was needed. His sword master had rated him to mastery in only a single sword art – the Stormhawk Sword; he had only needed to pass the Trials to be able to teach.
He ℎ𝑎𝑑 passed the Trials, technically. The lord of Rimet's interference was indicative; had he not passed, there would have been no need to interfere. He just as skilled as any single student who passed, only he held no tokens of achievement, no badges of honor, no stripes on his sleeves to show his skills.
The Stormhawk Sword was a foundation art more than a combat technique – most people who learned it did so for the insight into the basics. Defi had been learning several other styles that needed a good foundation and he had been planning to find a good teacher after the Trials. Needless to say, that was impossible now.
"I thought you hated swords?" Renne asked.
"I do not hate swords," he said, wrenching down a sudden memory of how easy it was to slide a sword into human flesh. "I am able to teach one sword art and two spear arts, not to mention hunting and archery, various literary arts, the flute and the lyre, and finally, mathematics."
The kingdom of Ontrea had long had a prohibition on kingdom information crossing the Gates. But a foundation sword art and two of the least-powerful spear arts in the thousands of weapons techniques available to the warriors of Ontrea…would it really do that much harm?
"Why are you offering?" asked Markar.
"I've been thinking of getting back into practice. Teaching the basics is a good way to do so." Not to mention, were they not in danger currently? The children were being hunted, while Defi was being watched by people who had been in conflict with him once already.
 "We'll have to think about it."
Renne frowned at her brother, but he only stared back silently. She huffed.
Defi nodded, knowing they would discuss it when he was not present, only sighing out, "It is better to know something and choose not to use it, than not know something and need it."
He would have preferred a life where he did not have to pick up another weapon. But he should have known better than to hope. 
The morning meal ended with frowns on three faces.

Opening the first book, a simple calculus one, he closed his eyes after put is left-hand across the page before concentrating on the idea of decomposing slowly the knowledge while keeping analyze and comprehension running.

In no time a rush of already mastered pieces of information floods his brain, consolidating his basic before going on. Without warning, the flow cut itself and when he open his eyes he sees that he was already on the last page, that was slowly crumbling away.

Throwing the book in his backpack and tossing it in his pouch, he hastily made his way to the kitchen before turning around and go change back to his morning clothes, not wanting the Dursley's to discover that he have brought new clothes and more importantly how.

Thank CS, Harry was able to be on time, and by 6:50 p.m the sound of the family car parking in the garage driveway. Seeing the disappointed face of Vernon and Petunia he know that they came early in the hope of catching him off guard.
'Fat choice you bunch of hypocrites, in a little less than a month I will be gone, but until then I intend to be irreproachable 
 
Regretfully for the Dursley's he effectively was just that. Ever cores were done in such a way that they were unable to complain, the second room of Dudley has been arranged and cleaned alongside the actual bedroom. He had cleaned it so thoroughly that it had freaked the little piglet so much that he was banned to tidy it ever again after the incessant nagging that they were subject from they Dudders.

The month that followed was all the more stressful because Petunia has to recall Vernon of the letter that will surely be delivered in a matter of days. During that time, the two of them have also remarked that he had changed, no more did the boy shrink on itself when Vernon raise is voice, the physical abuse or the starvation hadn't elicited a single reaction on his no emotionless face, freaking them out and even pushing Vernon to fear that he has crossed a dark line and something at snapped in the boy.

Now if you have said to Vernon Dursley that he had effectively broken something inside the boy he would have been overjoyed any time, and tell you that honest people always found ways to beat the freakishness out of those monsters but not this time. Because of the whole situation, he fears a strong reaction, a magical one. During the last years, he has been subject to the boy accidental magic and has somewhat linked the emotional distress to the intensity of the response. But now that he was unable to access the boy state of mind, and the fact that he has absorbed everything without letting something out worry him and his wife more and more each day. So when the boy asked if he could daily go the small communal library, he couldn't agree too fast, the more time the boy pass out of the house, the less risk he snaps while their present. At first, when Dudley see that the freak could go and come as he wishes out of the house, he didn't wait to gather his minion to open the summer hunting season. When they became unable to simply follow and corner him without the presence of adult he slowly increases is winning, the fact that his birthday was coming and he was frustrated by the freak to see this summer turning into a nightmare for the family of three.

As for Harry, those days have been a blessing. Seeing that the less the emotion he shows the most disturbed the Dursley's became, he completely shut down any emotion while in their presence. If he had learned a single thing during his stay in the void, it was certainly patience. So seeing the result after only a week and banking on their uneasiness he ask for the right to go day long on the library he was immediately allowed. It when he truly thrives.  He only asks at this time because he runs out of books to assimilate. It was also during that time that he made another discovery, the more knowledge he already has, the easier is it to consolidate and correct it and the less time it takes for his ability to absorb the knowledge.

For example, for none know what Dudley has books on starting level language. Being a first of french origin, he had only needed a few seconds to absorb them, while the one on Spanish have to need a complete day to absorb due to the very few things he could have remembered. So this way everything was soon crumbled away has he run through the basics of everything until 6th grades of that he already knows.

Seeing that he didn't have any more books he then asks to go to the library while in fact also lets him rummage through the near bookstore for higher grades. After two additional weeks, he has caught up with 8th-grade material and thus the progress halt down by simply lack of time. Even with this, he was satisfied. All those years back he was never one for the academic prowess so when he was able to breathe through this curriculum with ease when he was previously struggling at those levels were more than acceptable.

While he passed his days in the library accumulating knowledge, he didn't slack of in the night, using this time to actual material that needs a great time to assimilate, using his sleeping hour in the most efficient way. So every night he would decompose shard of different metal, wood, plastics, earth, rock, and the like, slowly building a large data bank.

It's has been now three weeks since my trip to Diagon Alley and the unlocking of the system.
With the help of past Harry memories and mine, my studies time has shown great improvement, and I have a great grasp of further two grade worth of knowledge perfectly assimilate. Due to my late-night activities, my knowledge is not only theoretical but practical as well. Reading and experiencing are two completely different thing so while I know the composition of rocks thank books, knowing its molecular arrangement due to the very experience earn manipulating the real thing was completely different. Combining the two was again another level.

So here I am, sitting cross-legged on the ground, at the local park near privet drive, cover by the shade of the trees around me, giving me the privacy I need. In front of me a normal rock that could be found anywhere.
'Your ready CS.'

Taking a deep breath and focussing my mind on what I want to do and the knowledge to do it, I clap my hand, in a familiar position that every otaku would recognize from a certain alchemist, before bringing my left hand down on the rock as if I wanted to crush the rock before lifting it.

The instant my palm came in contact with the rock, I feel something running deep in the ground responding to my call, pulling it instinctively. Instantly two things happen, the first was my two wristband lighting a clear blue and the second was faint lightning-like ark exiting them, connecting my palm, the rock, and the ground. In a second the previous uneven rock lost his shape and transform un a simple rock arrow. The shape wasn't perfect but the result was there, I have realized my first transmutation. Before the realization of what just happen to strike me a stream of pop up appears.

When power far above you decide that they want to wrench the canon, by bringing you in the game, sometimes the wisest thing to do it just to tag along and just try to make this encounter end the most rapidly possible.

who knows, maybe something great will come out of it? After all, what could be worst than being taken out without your consent out of your world, only to be thrown in the darkness?

Veronica's phone rang as she entered her cabin after having lunch with Willa. Seeing the caller ID, a smile bloomed on her lips.
"Hey honey." Veronica said picking up the call.
"Babe… I wouldn't be able to pick you up today from your office. I'll tell Tom to drive you back to home." Reuben said.
Furrowing her eyebrows, Veronica spoke, "That's okay. But do you have something important to do today?"
Veronica heard a sigh from the other side as Reuben told, "Yeah. Today Neil, Henry and I are meeting up for a chat. So I'll be a little late. Eat your dinner at the right time and don't wait for me."
"Okay. Then see you at night honey. Bye." Veronica said with a smile on her face.
"Yeah, Bye." Reuben said as the call got cut.

Secret 7...

Henry and Neil were already sitting in the base of Secret 7. Henry was narrating everything to Neil because... when Reuben called yesterday night, he wanted to have a conference call, but Neil didn't pick up the phone resulting Reuben only to talk with Henry.
Henry was also a member of Secret 7... His code name is HUNTER...
And he really behaved like one when he saw his preys, he would not show any mercy on them..
"So that's all what happened." Neil said after hearing the matters of Alonzo from Henry.
Henry nodded her head in affirmation as he replied, "Yes. That's what Reuben had told me yesterday."
"I don't know anything about anyone but if that Alonzo tried to hurt my little sister then I'm gonna kill him without even batting an eye." Neil roared in anger gritting his teeth.
Sliding one of the corner of his lips up in a smirk, Henry said, "Do you think that Reuben would leave Alonzo easily if he do something to hurt our sister? Don't you know how much he loves her and how much overprotective could he be about her?"
Right then, a tall silhouette entered the base with a cold look on his face. Taking a seat with his other friends he sighed before folding his hands together and leaning front towards them, resting both of his elbows on his knees.
Both Henry and Neil looked at him as they sensed the restlessness in his movements.
Sighing deeply, Neil started, "I heard everything from Henry. So what's the matter about all this Alonzo? And exactly who is Alexander?"
Lifting his eyes up to him, Reuben said, "Alexander was Veronica's friend while she was in city B. And about Alonzo… you know who exactly he is. But you will come to know everything when you see this." 
Reuben took out the file which had all the details about Alonzo which Tom had presented him today morning.
Neil took the file and shared it with Henry to look through the information.
Ten minutes had already passed when both of them finished reading the file and both of their faces were totally surprised to look at, which was kinda funny to watch...
If it was other times Reuben would laugh out loud, making fun of them but it was not a time to joke around...
"So Alonzo had came back to B city without finishing his studies but still got his degree on the scheduled year from a famous University there. How could that be possible?" Henry spoke coming out of the shock.
As Reuben nodded his head, Neil's face became more intensified when he ask, "But there was no registered name of Alexander Brown whom Vero claimed to be her friend."
"Yes. But the thing that is triggering me the most is how can a person doesn't have his name registered when he was a resident of our country… otherwise he was a ghost or…. He had hidden his identity." Henry's expression changed from confusion to realisation when he said this.
Neil looked at him like he also understood the intensity of his meaning as he murmured, "And both Alexander and Alonzo's surname is the same. Brown."
Reuben stared at them as he continued their comprehension, "More than everything, Alonzo had came back from city M exactly after one month Ica had finished her experiment in city B and returned to city S."
Again realisation hit them hard when Henry opened his mouth, "So… you mean to say that… both Alonzo and Alexander are the same person."
Reuben's gaze hadn't fluttered at all but his eyes became colder and his jaw clenched in anger which was enough to make the two men understand that they were absolutely right about their thoughts.
Letting out a sigh, Neil asked, "So what are we going to do now? Are you telling about this to Vero?"
Shaking his head in a denial, Reuben said, "No. Not now. I told Tom to enquire about Alonzo's University informations and when it gets confirmed that he is really the Alexander Brown we're thinking about... only then I'll tell her."
"And about Alonzo.... I'd rather give Ica the decision to do whatever she wants. But if he intimidated anything rude to her, then I'll not just sit around without doing anything." Rage was illuminating from Reuben's low yet threatening voice.
"Do whatever you want but just make sure to tell us everything beforehand so that we could be prepared." Neil said patting Reuben's shoulder to calm him down...

Veronica stayed silent for sometime and then she looked at him with pure fondness in her beautiful dark brown eyes, as she voiced out the love she had for him...

“My Heart Beats Only For You…”

Then the man and woman kissed each other passionately, while the Moon witnessed their love all through out the night..…

"This time I'm going to please you and you are going to sit here patiently, allowing me to work on devouring your luscious body. And most importantly... You are not allowed to touch me.." Veronica whispered in his ears, giving him a seductive wink which earned a devilish grin back from him. 
 
"I'm eagerly waiting for that babe.." He said as he planted a kiss on her lips. 
 
"Nah.. No touching, remember. Today it is all about you and I'll be the only person who will please you. My hands will roam all over your bare flesh and my tongue and lips will cover every nook and corner of your delicious body..."

Saying this, Veronica started kissing him from his chiseled face to his well toned chest and then….little down…
