Chapter 27 :
The stranger drove the car with a speed he's never reached before. It was almost 6 am, and his eyes were getting droopy.
He checked on the girl occasionally, stopping the car once in a while to rub her hands. Even with the heater on, the girl's hand was still blue, and she was still shivering.
"Mom is probably turning in her grave," whispered the stranger while searching for his extra blanket in his Duffel bag. His boss always told him to pack a bag with extra clothes, a backup phone, and other necessities and keep it in his car in case of an emergency.
 Oh boy, was he happy he listened?
He was always the stubborn type, and would always prefer to do things at his own pace.
'Ahh... there it is' thought the stranger, as he pulled it out of the bag.
It was a blue cotton blanket, nothing special. The stranger carefully placed it on her before tucking it at the sides. He then went back up to the front seat and closed the door and started the car. The stranger noticed that the car was moving slower than usual, but paid little attention to it.
'It's probably because I was speeding earlier,' he thought as he made a left turn. He felt embarrassed about how he behaved when he was told by his boss to check on her, even though she could not see him. He was sure if she heard what happened she would've at least felt a little hurt, and that's why he felt obligated to take her to the hospital.
The stranger had about 30 miles left to cover when his car suddenly stopped. "What the hell," said the stranger as he looked at the fuel gauge, and saw that he was out of gas. Knocking his head at the steering wheel in frustration, the stranger went to look for his phone but stopped when he remembered that it had no battery life.
Stepping out of the car, the stranger walked towards the trunk where his duffle bag was. It took him about four minutes to find his backup phone. The stranger silently prayed, hoping that he remembered to charge the phone before putting it in the bag.
Pressing the power button, the stranger released a sigh as he saw the Apple logo on the screen. 
'Great job man, I'm so proud of you' thought the stranger as he praised himself. 
"I think I should buy the lotto," said the stranger to himself while doing a mental check of his luck so for. He was just about to dial his boss's number when suddenly a Bugatti La Voiture Noire stopped right in front of him. And out came Ethan.
"Hey Boss, nice car and all... I just want to ask one question," said the stranger.
"Sure, go ahead," said Ethan in a cheerful voice.
The stranger arched his brows at Ethan's behavior but still asked his question.
"Where is she going to sit?"
Ethan's cheerful expression quickly turned into a confused expression before turning into a frown," W-Weren't you going to ask about my car?" He asked confusedly while gesturing to his car. 
The stranger released a loud laugh before replying, "That'll have to wait for another time", "where is she going to go Ethan?" asked the stranger while pointing to his car.
Ethan was still feeling disappointed that his best friend was prioritizing someone, a stranger may he add, over his brand new car. So naturally, in a moment's spur, you'll say things you don't mean. And that's exactly what Ethan did.
Shrugging his shoulder's, Ethan looked at his best friend while sneering, 'Oh... she'll be riding in the trunk."
The stranger stared at his best friend in disappointment. He knew that Ethan was feeling hurt by the dismissal of his car, but he shouldn't have said what he said. The girl needs to go to the hospital ASAP.
'You could teach him a lesson by leaving him out here' suggested his subconscious.
Opening the backseat of his car, the stranger carefully took the girl into his arms and turned towards Ethan and asked.
"Where are your keys?" 
"W-What are you up to now?" asked Ethan in a frustrated voice.
Holding out his palm, the stranger asked again for the second time, but in a more polite tone, "May I have your keys, please?".
Ethan rolled his eyes but still gave him the keys. "Are you going to tell me what you're up to now?" Ethan asked when he saw the stranger place the girl in the passenger seat of his car.
The stranger waited until his results satisfied him. He tried his best to make her feel comfortable in her unconscious state. He then walked over towards the driver's seat and pointed to his car while saying, "Watch it, will you." and as soon as he said this, he quickly entered the car and drove off as fast as he could.
Ethan stared blankly at the space where his car once occupied, roughly for a minute or two before he ran after the car shouting,'"Hey that's my car, come back!" 
Two minutes later, and Ethan laid on the ground breathing heavily and coughing once in a while. "I should have fucking saw that coming," he said out loud, as he tried to find an outlet to release his frustration.
" I'll probably have to call a ride," Ethan said to himself while looking at the stranger's car before adding, "And someone to have this tow and refill its tank."
Taking his phone out, Ethan dialed his assistant. And waited as the phone rang. She picked up on the third ring.
"I need you to come and pick me up, I'll send you my location," was the first thing he said when she answered the phone.
"Ethan I-" started his assistant, before Ethan interrupted her once again by saying," And also call someone to come and tow a car that's at my location, and have he/she fill the tank... will you."
"Yes, E- Sir" answered the secretary before she hung up the phone.

Mohan daily use to go to jogging . One day Mohan had gone for jogging as usual a stranger met him whose name was Rohit .He had come from Philippines.He asked Mohan that of he would kill his friend Rahul he would give him 50 lakh rupees in cash. Mohan scared and said that he will not do this for just 50 lakh rupees. Then the stranger said if u will not do this I will kill your mother and father. Then Mohan said first tell me who are you and what's your name and the stranger replied make him even more scared because the stranger replied that he Rohit an underworld don.Mohan said that please let me but he didn't. After one day Mohan parents reported in the police station that there child is missing from last one day.

Now the police is finding Mohan. now Rohit said to Mohan that I am asking you last time if you are ready to kill the Rahul .But asked why you want that Rahul should be killed by me and why you want to kill Rahul then the stranger replied because last month as you also know he had helped the cops to find my three gang members and you are the best friend of him and you can kill him and know one will doubt on you. The stranger had forgot to switch off the phone of Mohan and that mistake helped cops to detect the mobile location. Then the police came there and arrested the stranger now Mohan had told everything that he knew about him.The cops asked the stranger that why you have told all about you to the Mohan and the stranger replied because he will kill him also that's why.

When that all the things happened Mohan told to the Rahul was shocked. And hugged tightly to Mohan and said he is the bestest friend in the world.

Gan summoned Pidgeotto, and 2 Butterfrees to guard the Stall while they were outback. The middle-aged man was sweating profusely, he didn't have any Pokemon to protect himself when he was in danger. He could only comply with Gan's demands or get exposed, or worse, maybe even killed!

Of course, Gan had no intentions of killing this idiot, but robbing him was another story. As soon as Gan summoned Geodude and Koffing, his expression grew worse. This was mainly because of Koffing, this Pokemon wasn't any good.

From what most natives in Kanto and Johto could make out, anyone that used a Koffing, Muk, Arbok, and so forth, weren't good people. Most people that carried these types of Pokemon were either Biker Gang members, thugs, and villainous people.

This easily confirmed what the man was afraid of; this kid was nothing good!

The man had a big tent set up on this street behind his stall where he sold things. Today he was selling Pokeballs; this is what he mainly sold but he had a few other things from what Gan could see.

"W-what do you want? What are you going to do?" The man asked nervously, but Gan didn't reply to him.

Gan spotted and rope and grabbed it; he tossed it to Geodude and instructed it to tie him up.

"You're going to answer my questions, I hate to use these types of means, but if you scream this also won't go good for you." Geodude hovered over and started to tie the man up without question, its expression was serious while doing so.

"I-I don't know anything, come on man, show some humility." The man shook with worry and squeeze out what words he could.

"Humility has nothing to do with anything. The first question is, where is all the money you've earned; I need compensation." Gan asked bluntly.

"Ah, no, please, you're not gonna rob me for everything I got, are you?" The man asked in a shaky voice.

"No, but I will take what I want. I'll be sure to leave you with most of your things, but ill surely be taking these with me." Gan grabbed 3 discs sitting on the desk, they were apparently TMs.

"Nooo! I got those after selling a good amount of Pokeballs near Victory Road!" The man cried out, but Gan didn't care, as he put them away.

"Too bad, but it helps you, so now you only have to pay me ₱60,000." Gan smiled and signaled Koffing into position.

"S..sixty t-thousand! You're insane!" The man almost passed out. That was nearly all of the money he accumulated over the year.

"Well, since you can't pay, then enjoy being on a timer for life. I'll just have Koffing poison you, then we'll see how long you'll last." Gan only looked at the man coldly to let him know that he was serious.

"Wait! Okay! The money is in the safe under the desk, don't take all of it, please!" The pleaded then he told Gan the code.

Gan went over towards the desk and opened the safe, it was a decently sized safe, so anyone would notice it the minute they went behind it to check.

"You're crying about money when you have around ₱250,000 in this thing, are you kidding me?" Gan took ₱80,000 instead because the guy took too long to tell him about the safe.

"Not all of the money is for me, that's why." The man felt like crying but no tears came.

"Well, I took your portion, anyway, tell me the location of this Black Market." Gan paid no attention to the man's expression and asked nonchalantly.

The man began to relay that these people came from the Hoenn Region, and that they were here for 'business'. They had set up a market after running a few things by Team Rocket; the underground Organization that ran things in the dark in both Kanto and Johto.

Of course, they had competition, such a the Poacher Organization. The Black Market was located in the East of Viridian City. The police, for some odd reason never bothered with this strange place, it was no telling why.

"Okay, you did well." Gan nodded with a smile.

"Really, you'll let me go?" The smiled happily.

"No." Gan summoned 2 Beedrill and told them to watch him while he was gone.

"A..h!" The man smothered his screams after seeing those 2 Giant Bugs. However, Gan instructed Geodude to knock the man out. Geodude went over and chopped him in the neck, then he gagged his mouth before leaving out of the tent.

Gan stole a few of his Pokeballs, he took 5 Quickballs, 20 Pokeballs, 3 Luxaryballs, and 5 Loveballs!

He wanted to check this Black Market out, he learned from the man that most people wore cloaks when they went there. This was to obviously hide their appearance when they went to such a place, and Gan wasn't an exception.

Gan easily purchased a cloak and a strange Clown mask before going to this Black Market's location. He steadily made his way to this Black Market, he was a bit nervous but he had an identity he could rely on, so he felt a bit better thinking about it.

As he continued the walk, he slowly watched as the surrounding slowly changed around him.  Those nice buildings and houses started to disappear, and so did those friendly-looking stall attendants on the streets.

The street became rough and rugged; there were a few sketchy people roaming the streets in these parts. The houses looked worn down here, there were a few Pokemon eating out of the garbage in the alleyway, but these were just Rattata and Pidgey.

There were a few rough-looking stalls set up with people selling some goods as well here. They wore cloaks as expected; they even had a few people acting as Bodyguards around them.

"I saw it first, get the hell away or I'll fucking kill you!" A burly man hollered at some man at a stall.

"I'm the one who saw it first, you better leave while you still have a life in your hands!" The other man, who appeared to tall and slim threatened back.

They appeared to be fighting over something that they both wanted to purchase. From what Gan could see, it was a TM, to be exact, the TM-Facade.

The muscular man punched at the slender man's face at a moment's notice, but the Slenderman expected this and dodged. He took the time to kicked the man in his knee, once the man muscular man missed.

"Ah, you bitch!" The man cursed and grabbed the Pokeball from his waist, he tossed it and summoned a Raticate. It was at Level 20, and it attacked the Slender man with its sharp teeth!

"Ahhhhh~!" The man screamed in pain. The Raticate continued to tear into the man's leg and he screamed hysterically until he fainted. During this whole process, no one said anything, but Gan was shocked at the sight.

The Muscular man sneered and recalled his Raticate, then he purchased the TM and left. Soon after, a few men came out and tossed the Slenderman into an alley without care and went on their way. 

Gan approached the stall, but the man appeared to be closing up.

"I'm closing, come back tomorrow." The man waved his hand and didn't even look at Gan.

"I didn't come here to buy anything, I'm here because I need information." Gan didn't find anything interesting at this man's stall anyway.

"Information? Hmm..." The man turned to Gan and contiuned. "What kind of information are you looking for?"

"I just want to know where they sell Pokemon and the good stuff, you know?" Gan simply said.

"Who are you exactly, they don't just sell to random people, so I'm afraid I can't help you if you have no identity." The cloaked salesman shook his head, he couldn't just give information out like this. It could come back to haunt him later if it was found out that he gave their location out to some random cloaked stranger. 

"I'm not some random stranger, check it out." Gan flashed his Team Rocket ID.

*Gasp* Ah, sorry, sorry, I didn't know you were apart of them!" The man was stunned. Team Rocket operated a lot here, so he had seen them around here quite a bit. 

"Now, can you tell me? I don't visit Viridian a lot, so I'm new here." Gan said.

"If you don't mind, can I check if your Identification Card is real? I hope you understand that I'm only taking precaution in this matter." The man had to be sure, so he wanted to see Gan's ID for himself. He could tell a real from a fake, so he wouldn't be fooled if someone tried to show him a counterfeit.

Gan handed his ID over, he was apart of Team Rocket, so he didn't expect to run into too much trouble on his turf. The man put it over his head and allowed the sun to hit it like the people in his old-world did to confirm if money was real.


"It's real, I hope you aren't offending?" The man nodded continuously and handed Gan back his ID.

"Not even, just tell me the location, I want to purchase a Pokemon or 2." Gan didn't care about such little things, after all, it was his life on the line if they knew he exposed them to some stranger.

"Right away!" The man began to relay everything, as Gan listened closely. Soon after, Gan went on his way to that Location. After walking down the rough streets, Gan was nearly robbed twice, but he had his Pokemon shut them down right away.

Eventually, he made it to a house that looked too torn down to be what he was looking for. However, he knew this was the area because he saw a few guys with tattoos and mohawks in front of the house playing cards.

Their appearance's looked intimidating, no average person would approach them. At least the people in his previous world would do best to ignore these types of people. Gan only had his ID to go on because he didn't have his uniform to fit the description perfectly. 

The minute Gan pulled up, they looked at him with sharp eyes. Gan didn't have time to deal with ignorant clowns, so he flashed his ID. Once they saw it, they blinked for a second and turned to continue their card game.

"A Team Rocket Member? Do you need some help searching for something you want?" Suddenly, a fat man came out of the house. Gan had seen a silhouette looking out of the window not too long ago; this must have been that Silhouetted figure. 

"Yes, I'm looking to purchase some Pokemon, it'd be nice if you could... help me." Gan spoke slowly, as to not trip on his words.

"Hehe, you've come to the right place, right this way." The fat man grinned and welcomed Gan inside.

Gan was playing his new pokemon Sword Version until an earthquake suddenly shook the area he lived in. Once it stopped, he went to check on his parents, who were alright.

Afterward, he went to bed and woke up in the middle of the night to get some water when he saw a strange light coming from his basement.

Gan was naturally curious, so he went to check it out.

He covered her mouth with his hand and muffed her. This time around, she's tired and didn't have enough strength to fight back. She's no superhero and her body is not a robot either, so she's bound to get tired. This thug brought out his phone, called the rest of his gang, and told them that he has found her. 
Of course, he gave them his location.
Within a short period, they all gathered at the said location and took her away from there. 
"It seems she's exhausted after running around for so long, she's not giving troubles anymore." The boss said. 
"Now, she's such an obedient girl, let's hurry up and get done with her before she regains her strength and starts throwing tantrums here and there." Said one of the thugs.
Where they are taking her, Annabel does not have any idea it's the least of the things she's thinking about at the moment. She just follows them in into anyway like an obedient lamb. 
While walking down the road with her, they were suddenly stopped; a stranger obstructs their path with his Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita. He majestically opened his car door and stepped down.
He took out a stroke of cigarette from its pack,  straight into his mouth, and lit it up while leaning against his car as if he's waiting for someone. 
This scene alone sends a terrifying shock on a few of the goons but the boss was an exception. 
They couldn't help but wonder who he could be? And from where did he come from. It's obvious that he's a wealthy lad but what could he be doing out here so late at night, remains the question. 
The route they took was a very narrow road, they took this path because they were afraid that they might be discovered or seen by someone but by taking this route they somehow minimized the danger of getting caught by any passerby that's why they couldn't help but wonder from where this man in front of them came from.
The boss walked up to him and calmly asked the stranger to move away from their way "Mister, could you please move away from your car so that we can pass." But the latter didn't budge, instead, he did as though he wasn't the one that's been addressed. 
One of his followers came forward and pleased with the latter to clear the way for them but still, nothing happened. 
The boss being someone with a very short temper couldn't condone this act of insubordinate lost his cool and decides to explain it to him in a hard way that he thinks would be clear to him by tugging him on his tye, looked him straight in the eyes and asked him to move away for them to pass with a deadly aura that emanates from him but still, that yielded no result. He refused to listen to him and blew the cigarette smoke on his face and says, "First, take your filthy hands off me, and second, let the girl go." He said with a terrifying vibe that emerges from him. 
This sounds like a joke to the goons and they laughed over it. "Hey mister, you must be joking, right? Unless you want to leave here in pieces."
"I am not leaving this place without the lady; I am here for the girl, hand her over to me and I will clear the path for you."
The gang leader spoke again, "And what if we do not agree to your demands? Besides, who is she to you?" 
They are so curious to know about his relationship with her, for him to be so audacious, and willing to endanger himself for her, they must share some bond. 
"I don't think that would be of any use to you, moreover it will be best for you not to know. Just be an obedient boy and hand her over to me before things spiral up and I know you wouldn't want that." He boldly replied.
On the other hand, Victoria has long reached the location of the place she had asked Annabel to wait for her. But she got disappointed in not finding her there. She could not help but think of the worst things that could have happened.
'Could it be that the goons caught up with her friend before she could? No! That can not be, I should have been here earlier than this, what have I done? I wonder what condition she could be.' She trailed in her thoughts whilst searching for her friend. She was accompanied by her school friends and bodyguards.

At Johnson's residence.

Mrs. Johnson has been looking for her daughter at the very least she got to know about her absence, but one of the bodyguards Victoria left behind came to her and told her everything that had taken place just as he had been instructed by his young miss. 
"Ma'am, young miss also told me to tell you not to disclose the current situation to anyone especially miss Annabel's family to avoid havoc." He deeply bows and left when he was dismissed.
Mrs. Johnson was worried about her daughter's safety as well as Annabel's. She took out her cell phone and called one of her contacts, the police commissioner to ask for his assistance, she gave him detailed information about what took place in her home abs her daughter's whereabouts.
Just as her daughter had requested, she ensured that no one gets a glimpse of what's happening tonight including her busy husband. The latter has been interacting with influential people to further strengthen his relationship with them.
The same goes for Mrs. Fazer. She was also busy with prominent people in the entire city that was present at the party. She is a businesswoman, so, she also wants business associates and the acquaintance of rich people. 
While her daughter was busy with her lover boy, it was indeed a cozy night for both of them, and her boyfriend's arms made it cozier.

After she regained herself, she scurried over to help the young man, people who saw the scenario helped her and they took him to the hospital.

She was sad, hurt, and depressed. She was a mess and was in her most vulnerable state. 

"Young Lady, why are you sitting alone in the dark? Don't you know it's unsafe for you?" Derrick Markham said. 

"What difference will it make? Is it not better to die or be taken advantage of by a stranger than someone close to you?" Annabel said. 

"I don't know where you're driving at but it's not safe for you to be out here."

"where do you live, let me take you home.?" Derrick inquired 

"Why do you ask, have they sent you here?" Annabel Fazer asked. 

She gulped down the beer she was holding. Most of the beer spilled on her dress, only a few went inside. 

"well, I will have to sit with you here, if you're unwilling to go home right now." Derrick Markham said and sat close to her. 

"Hey! what are you doing? Go! get lost!"

"I'm not leaving you here." He firmly said

"And why is that?" She queried 

"Because there are many wolves out there waiting for the right opportunity to devour you." He said

"And why do you care? you don't know me. What would you benefit from this gesture?" she inquired. 

"You don't need to know someone before helping them." He said.

She was comfortably lying down half-naked on a cozy bed covered with a quilt. The morning sun rays forced their way into the room through the curtain openings and woke her up. 


"OMG! what happened here?" 

"Where am I? whose house is this?"

"And how did I spent the night here?"

She kept asking herself these questions without getting any answers in return...

Just then the door was pushed open by a man with a tray in his hands that contains different dishes... 

She has a conflicted look on her face. She can't make out with what she's seeing.

In a dense forest, covered in a slight mist from the night before; a young man, with fair complexion and dark red hair is awakening to a not so familiar sight off trees surrounding him. The subtle but warm sunshine runs against his lush face giving him a gold like shine. As he scans the area in a calm manner for any signs of his location, he hears a voice, surprised he exclaims: 
"Who's there!?" He heard, 
(Confirm user) said the voice which seemed to be coming from inside his head
"Confirm user?" 
Soon after he felt a sharp pain in his chest and his blood quite literally felt like it was burning his skin.

Slightly baffled, he took a seat still somewhat dazed... he thought to himself, 'Why can't I remember anything?!?'

"Holy shit!!" He took off, running through the bushes not looking back

By the time he realized what was happening he was at a cliff, looking down seeing razor sharp rocks, and behind him he could see arrows coming in almost slow motion

(Jump)
"What!?"
(Jump!!! or we die!!)
Without a second thought he dived off the ledge, while looking back to see his attacker but to his surprise it was the figure of a small girl, with what seemed to be an animal skull on her face as a mask. As he hit the rocks anyone would assume that his life was over but, from a closer look the jagged rocks broke off and both him and the rocks plummeted to the water. 
After a brief moment of hesitation, he emerged from the water and started making his way to shore; but now after almost being impaled by both arrows and rocks.. He sat on the sandy shores of what seemed to be an isolated beach.

"Hey, Reag?! What the hell just happened? Who was that? Why can't I remember who I am? And just what the hell is this place?"
(One quest... oh NVM; this place is classified your rank doesn't permit answers, but as such we were just attacked because of your lack of experience)
"Doesn't permit answers? I ALMOST DIED!"
(NOT SO LOUD! our assailant isn't gone yet)

Now back on guard he started surveying the area with his eyes trying to figure out an exit strategy, but in a low and quiet voice, someone called out to him. A stranger dressed in a black cloak, with an ominous aura about him.

{Hey kid you okay? that was a nasty fall}
On guard he answered, 
"I am fine, who are you?"
{Calm down, I'm not here to hurt you; and good job escaping a Hunter!}
"The 'Hunter?', you mean that lunatic that tried killing me?"
{HAAHAH, lunatic? hey kid, how long have you been here?} 
"I just woke up like maybe 3 hrs ago" 
The stranger grew quite curious..
{3 hrs? That's impossible! Everyone woke up at the same time, if you're telling the truth that would mean you're new}
"I'm not lying, this is all confusing, new to what?"

"I...I don't know, I can't remember"
