This story is based on a true one sided love story of a girl who newly joined an institution in San Francisco, her own city only. She fell in love with a boy named Kate who used to read in the same institution. There are five chapters in total- Stranger,That Day,Dilemma,Aiden Ivy took it all and Untold.
Hope you guys'll enjoy reading. Specially recommended for the Teenagers who face this kind of problems. But remember these all things are very much normal...each and everyone passes this stage of life.
So with this contrast I narrated a story of a 17years old girl named Hannah.

Chapter 27 :
The stranger drove the car with a speed he's never reached before. It was almost 6 am, and his eyes were getting droopy.
He checked on the girl occasionally, stopping the car once in a while to rub her hands. Even with the heater on, the girl's hand was still blue, and she was still shivering.
"Mom is probably turning in her grave," whispered the stranger while searching for his extra blanket in his Duffel bag. His boss always told him to pack a bag with extra clothes, a backup phone, and other necessities and keep it in his car in case of an emergency.
 Oh boy, was he happy he listened?
He was always the stubborn type, and would always prefer to do things at his own pace.
'Ahh... there it is' thought the stranger, as he pulled it out of the bag.
It was a blue cotton blanket, nothing special. The stranger carefully placed it on her before tucking it at the sides. He then went back up to the front seat and closed the door and started the car. The stranger noticed that the car was moving slower than usual, but paid little attention to it.
'It's probably because I was speeding earlier,' he thought as he made a left turn. He felt embarrassed about how he behaved when he was told by his boss to check on her, even though she could not see him. He was sure if she heard what happened she would've at least felt a little hurt, and that's why he felt obligated to take her to the hospital.
The stranger had about 30 miles left to cover when his car suddenly stopped. "What the hell," said the stranger as he looked at the fuel gauge, and saw that he was out of gas. Knocking his head at the steering wheel in frustration, the stranger went to look for his phone but stopped when he remembered that it had no battery life.
Stepping out of the car, the stranger walked towards the trunk where his duffle bag was. It took him about four minutes to find his backup phone. The stranger silently prayed, hoping that he remembered to charge the phone before putting it in the bag.
Pressing the power button, the stranger released a sigh as he saw the Apple logo on the screen. 
'Great job man, I'm so proud of you' thought the stranger as he praised himself. 
"I think I should buy the lotto," said the stranger to himself while doing a mental check of his luck so for. He was just about to dial his boss's number when suddenly a Bugatti La Voiture Noire stopped right in front of him. And out came Ethan.
"Hey Boss, nice car and all... I just want to ask one question," said the stranger.
"Sure, go ahead," said Ethan in a cheerful voice.
The stranger arched his brows at Ethan's behavior but still asked his question.
"Where is she going to sit?"
Ethan's cheerful expression quickly turned into a confused expression before turning into a frown," W-Weren't you going to ask about my car?" He asked confusedly while gesturing to his car. 
The stranger released a loud laugh before replying, "That'll have to wait for another time", "where is she going to go Ethan?" asked the stranger while pointing to his car.
Ethan was still feeling disappointed that his best friend was prioritizing someone, a stranger may he add, over his brand new car. So naturally, in a moment's spur, you'll say things you don't mean. And that's exactly what Ethan did.
Shrugging his shoulder's, Ethan looked at his best friend while sneering, 'Oh... she'll be riding in the trunk."
The stranger stared at his best friend in disappointment. He knew that Ethan was feeling hurt by the dismissal of his car, but he shouldn't have said what he said. The girl needs to go to the hospital ASAP.
'You could teach him a lesson by leaving him out here' suggested his subconscious.
Opening the backseat of his car, the stranger carefully took the girl into his arms and turned towards Ethan and asked.
"Where are your keys?" 
"W-What are you up to now?" asked Ethan in a frustrated voice.
Holding out his palm, the stranger asked again for the second time, but in a more polite tone, "May I have your keys, please?".
Ethan rolled his eyes but still gave him the keys. "Are you going to tell me what you're up to now?" Ethan asked when he saw the stranger place the girl in the passenger seat of his car.
The stranger waited until his results satisfied him. He tried his best to make her feel comfortable in her unconscious state. He then walked over towards the driver's seat and pointed to his car while saying, "Watch it, will you." and as soon as he said this, he quickly entered the car and drove off as fast as he could.
Ethan stared blankly at the space where his car once occupied, roughly for a minute or two before he ran after the car shouting,'"Hey that's my car, come back!" 
Two minutes later, and Ethan laid on the ground breathing heavily and coughing once in a while. "I should have fucking saw that coming," he said out loud, as he tried to find an outlet to release his frustration.
" I'll probably have to call a ride," Ethan said to himself while looking at the stranger's car before adding, "And someone to have this tow and refill its tank."
Taking his phone out, Ethan dialed his assistant. And waited as the phone rang. She picked up on the third ring.
"I need you to come and pick me up, I'll send you my location," was the first thing he said when she answered the phone.
"Ethan I-" started his assistant, before Ethan interrupted her once again by saying," And also call someone to come and tow a car that's at my location, and have he/she fill the tank... will you."
"Yes, E- Sir" answered the secretary before she hung up the phone.

Had just recently turned twenty - one, Victoria Jamespell finds herself in a life of misery and deceit. Betrayed by her step-sister and her boyfriend, she tries to move forward with her life only to find out that she now has the responsibility of a new life.

Victoria now has a series of trials to complete so she and her unborn child can be safe from all the hatred enclosing her.

The creature's shrieking became more and more intense but the stranger was still trying to process what happened.
His mind churned trying to find an answer before reaching a logical but surprising conclusion.
"Are you an Evol?"
"A what?" Daemon replied, genuinely confused. He had never heard of such a term before, even from before his pre-Cryo days.
"An Evol is someone who has received powerful implants that allow them to do crazy unnatural things," The stranger said patiently.
If the kid really was an Evol, that changed everything. Evol were generally beholden to, or part of states or powerful organizations, and if anyone related to the kid found he knew where the kid was, they likely wouldn't hesitate to dissect his brain to find out where the kid was.
"I don't think so? As far as I know, I've always been like this!"
At this point, the stranger simply assumed that Daemon was lying to keep it hidden. The feat he just witnessed and even was part of couldn't be explained to happen without specialized equipment, and could only be explained by Evol implants, which he heard were able to perform miracles even more insane than what just happened.
"Fine I'll keep you secret but we have to talk after we deal with this thing."
They put their attention back onto the still shrieking creature which had begun to violently pulse its own body. The creature suddenly began to expand uncontrollably, gaining a size about twice as high and wide as its original dimensions.
The stranger grabbed another blast magazine from his belt and after placing his empty blast magazine back onto his belt, loaded it into the pistol grip. He inspected the barrel and the muzzle, noticing slight deformations on both. He was using a cheap static ballistic pistol with modifying parts for versatile use with different round types. However, its lack of durability was starting to show and he expected that another magazine may completely shred the barrel, maybe even unintentionally discharge or backfire.
Nevertheless, he continued, noticing the creature writhing, but instead of attacking them it suddenly explodes. Flesh and blood are suddenly painted across the surface of the cavern, and even on both the stranger and Daemon.
The stranger started to wipe the slimy mess off him, still alert if the creature somehow still existed. Daemon was more interested in the creature's behavior.
"How interesting! Why would the creature possess such as behavior, there must be a reason."
He focused on the place where the creature exploded and found out why.
"Ah, I see! This was a mode of self-preservation!"
"What do you mean?" The stranger gruffly said, not understanding what the kid was talking about.
"It is the creature's form of asexual reproduction, in exploding it left a small version of itself that will continue to grow".
The stranger grunted and started to walk towards the mess.
There he found what Daemon was talking about, a creature that looked identical to the creature from before but smaller. It was pulsing up and down, it looked almost cute.
The stranger aimed his pistol and shot a blast round at it, completely eradicating it. All that was left of it was a small addition to the already mess of flesh and blood.
The stranger and Daemon both tried to wipe as much of the fleshy mush off their body and clothes as possible, but it was still quite pungent and they couldn't get rid of the smell. The stranger's black cloak and pants were now a shade of dark red while Daemon's form-fitting suit had a red layer over the blue color.
"What now? It seems you've completed your objective of killing the creature for whatever reason."
"What happens now is that I'm getting off this damn planet"
"Can I come with you?"
"No"
"Why not?"
"Because I said so"
The stranger started walking back to where he came from, trying to find a safe place to ascend. Reaching back to the narrow path he threw his hook attached to the rope up to a small ledge on the cliff face and started to ascend. However, he only managed to ascent a few meters before the ledge crumbled and sent him falling down and landing on his butt again.
"Arghhh"
"You won't be able to get far, the underground rock formations seem to be very weak and smooth. There aren't many places you can use your hook and few that you can use will probably crumble as well" Daemon said casually.
He was still following the stranger. Doubting that the stranger would be able to get back up, he was hoping to possibly tempt him by offering a way up.
The stranger ignored Daemon, opting to continue along the path scanning for any potential ledges or crevices to hook. Further down he found what seemed to be a bigger and more secure looking ledge to hook, however, it was much higher than the previous one. It took a few tries to even reach that high and took even longer to successfully hook it. After he did, he started to scale it. Slowly walking up the cliff face with his hands consecutively gripping the rope further up until he was 30 meters up when suddenly, the rope snapped, causing him to fall on his back.
"Arrhhhhh Dammit!" he groaned while holding his back. Fortunately, he still had his impact pads on which reduced the impact of the fall significantly, otherwise, he was sure he would have broken something.
In the end, he sat down trying to come up with better ideas to escape. His rope had snapped leaving his hook at least 50 meters up the cliff face and the cliff face itself was quite smooth which made it impossible to try to scale it.
"It's quite unusual for the cliff faces to be this smooth right after splitting you know? It must be because of the specific rock types and minerals that cause it to be like this!" Daemon said while admiring the rock.
"What a weirdo" The stranger thought. As much as he didn't want anything to do with the kid, he finally figured he was his only option to get out of here. He could have tried to continue on the path to look for new opportunities but all the provisions had been carried on Reggie and now he had nothing left. He turned towards Daemon and braced himself for some negotiations, something he knew he was terrible at.
"Alright, can you get me up?"
"Maybe?"
"The hell do you mean maybe?! I thought you really had a way up!" He almost shouted.
"Well I've only ever teleported objects before, and they can only be teleported within my perception"
The stranger willfully ignored that part about only teleporting objects. He understood that while it may have been the first time the kid teleported a person, at least he had done it to save his life.
"Do you have any ideas?"
"I can transfer power into almost anything, if I transfer power to you could easily climb the cliff face with pure grip strength! The thing is, I have to be constantly touching whatever I'm transferring power into" Daemon said.
"What a weird power" The stranger muttered.
"Anyways, fine, if it's possible, I'll just carry you on my back while I climb"
"Yea you could... But only if you promise to take me with you off this planet!" Daemon added.
He really didn't feel like staying any longer in this barren wasteland. The research creature is likely the only living thing that could survive on this barren planet.
"No" The stranger firmly said.
"You're an Exol, that means you're trouble. I could get myself killed just for knowing you exist! Plus Exol always have people supporting them, call your people or whatever, they can help you out, just leave me out of it"
"There's no one left!" Daemon remarked. He was starting to get emotional. He already did peripheral calculations in his mind with the surrounding environment. This planet was barren and the research base was the only thing here that was functional. The researchers from his pre-Cryo days didn't tell him much. They only ever talked about him and his powers.
"I'm telling you there is no one behind me, no one supporting me! It's been so long, they're probably dead!"
The stranger paused. What Daemon was saying actually made sense when he considered the clues he gathered. The secpad showed design choices that were popular thousands of years ago but non-existent today. Not to mention, he memorized all the Super State logo, and the tagged Secpad sported a logo he had never seen before. Adding that together with the fact that a secpad from thousands of years ago that was able to decrypt his DNA could only belong to a Super State at the time, the evidence was surmounting to the fact that this kid likely belonged to a fallen Super State.
That alone wouldn't mean he was safe, however. Super States do not fall easily, and when they do, remnants almost always exist. Who knew if a remnant society decided to hunt him to retrieve their 'asset'. He would not like to be the one being hunted!.
Unfortunately, this situation was very disadvantageous to him, and it seemed like the only option of getting out was Daemon.
"Fine, I'll help you out" He finally uttered.
Daemon beamed, he could finally explore the galaxy!

The true Space Age has existed for Millennia.

Humanity has branched out from Earth to conquer the Milky Way and has become the dominant species, however, the galaxy is still riddled with strife. Daemon was a lost child of a mysterious origin that his rescuer cannot explain. He now roams the galaxy while unknowingly holding a secret that could shift the fragile balance of the entire galaxy.

Pain echoed through the unconscious body of Nathan. He had taken a direct hit from the bolt of lightning, which had resulted in temporary paralysis of his entire body. He groaned in his unconscious state, searching for a moment of relief.

"Nate! Nate! Nathan! Wake up, please!"
A familiar voice penetrated the sleeping conscience of Nathan. The voice was soothing and reminded him of warm milk and cheese, but it wasn't quite enough to bring him back to reality.

"Damn it, let me do it!"
The sound of a slap echoed, as Andrew's hand kissed Nathan's face.
Nathan immediately awoke in agony, grasping the stinging sensation.
"Ouch, son of a... ugh!!"
"Nate! Thank goodness you're ok!"
Sindy was the first one to grab onto Nathan, giving him a hug that squeezed the oxygen out of his lungs.
"Sindy, please... you're killing me!" 
Sindy reluctantly released Nathan to give him some space to breathe. She was happy he was alive but wished he was more appreciative of her affection. 
"Dude, you were out for like three hours! I wasn't sure you would wake up..." exclaimed Andrew with a breath of relief.
Nathan rubbed his cheek in agony making a distressed face, "Three hours? What happened?"
"Dude, we're just as lost as you. Sindy and I woke up, only to find you unconscious and that we were lost in this dark-creepy forest."
"Dark-creepy forest?" Nathan gasped as he began to observe his surroundings. There were dead trees as far as the eye could see, drowning in nothing but darkness and mist. The air was moldy and thick, and the ground was covered in bits of white rock— strangely resembling broken bits of bones.
"H-How did we get here?!" panicked Nathan.
"No idea man... As I said, this is where we woke up and it doesn't seem like anyone brought us here."
Sindy sneezed due to the moldy air— sniffling her nose before replying, "I-I think it had something to do with the strange weather and the lightning bolt we were hit with. That's the only explanation for all of this..."
Andrew nodded, "Well if we want answers, then first things first; We find a way out of here."
"That's something I can agree on," seconded Sindy.
"Nate, can you stand?"
"Yeah, my head's still a little hazy, but I think I can manage."

The three friends then huddled together as they walked desperately, searching for an exit. Sindy took constant glances at Nathan as if he could disappear at any moment. After his sudden disappearance back at the theatre, she was not willing to take any more chances with him.

"I'm not gonna just disappear into thin air you know Sindy... You don't have to worry yourself that much," comforted Nathan.
"I'll be the judge of that."
As the three walked on, the darkness seemed only to grow thicker. Their only source of light were the dim stars in the sky, which seemed to be the only normal thing in sight.

"Man, I swear I'd piss myself if something were to jump out at us..." said Andrew very unsettlingly.
"Oh my gosh! Andrew, please don't! This is creepy enough as it is!" cursed Sindy.


They were then immediately interrupted by the sound of something or someone stepping on a bone. A spine-chilling feeling took over Sindy's body, to the point where she latched onto Nathan's arm in fear.

"Sindy, don't worry! Andrew just probably stepped on something,"  Reassured Nathan with an optimistic smile.
 His reassurance however disintegrated into nothingness, when he saw Andrew shaking his head implying it was not him.


Suddenly, stepping out of the darkness into full view, was a five-meter-sized wolf-like creature. It had bright red eyes, black fur, and paws that looked like they could slash a full-grown man in half. Sindy then released a blood-curdling scream in fear, which seemed only to infuriate the beast more.

"RUN!!" screamed Andrew.
Nathan and Sindy didn't waste a second to hesitation. They dashed through the forest dodging trees and jumping over fallen logs as fast as they could, but it seemed only to be in vain. The wolf-like creature was just too fast— gaining on them with the utmost ease. 
Just when things looked like they couldn't get any worse, Sindy miss-timed her jump and tripped over a fallen tree.

"Sindy!" yelled Nathan perturbed— forcing himself to a stop for her sake.

The wolf-like creature was now literally right on top of her. Nathan didn't want to see one of his best friends get hurt. He had to do something, no matter the risk. It was the hero thing to do, right?
Recklessly, without any real plan, he picked up a piece of wood and charged the five-metered beast.

"No! Nate don't!" screamed Andrew helplessly as he watched both his friends fall into the mouth of danger.
The beast looked up, seeing Nathan as a threat, and charged him leaving Sindy behind. With jaws open wide the beast snapped at Nathan. With the aid of some luck, Nathan was able to lodge the piece of wood into the creature's mouth, preventing it from closing. 
The beast then tackled Nathan to the ground in frustration, while aggressively shaking the wood free from its mouth.
Nathan did his best to crawl away, but the beast sank its teeth into his leg before tossing him into the side of an old tree. 
Pain crippled Nathan's body, leaving him unable to fight back. He was in big trouble. 
Flaming with rage and hunger, the beast went in for the kill. Death looked straight into the soul of Nathan, as he found himself helpless against the beast.

Suddenly, the beast yelped in pain, as a rock slammed into the side of its head. Andrew had thrown a rock at the creature to buy Nathan some time to escape.
"Sorry, Nathan doesn't taste too good! He would leave a bad aftertaste... Not that I taste any better of course!" Trembled Andrew.

The beast, more agitated than ever, switched targets to Andrew. Unfortunately for Andrew, he tripped over another fallen tree and landed flat on his back.

"Crap man! Looks like this is it! I wish I lived a better life!"

Sindy tried to get on her feet to help Andrew, but she had twisted her ankle upon falling and wasn't going to make it in time. She had never felt more useless in all her life.
Nathan also watched in complete horror. He wished it was all just a bad dream he would soon awake from, but he knew better than to make wishes that were never going to happen. He had to help Andrew before it was too late.
 Writhing in pain and feeling as if he could collapse from agony at any moment— Nathan forced himself back onto his feet.
He was determined to prevent his friends from dying. his emotions dictated his decisions, but they also fueled him with the adrenaline he needed to win.
"A true hero doesn't make excuses as to why he didn't save someone... Come at me you oversized mongrel!" Nathan taunted the beast.

The beast halted and turned to charge at Nathan once again. It had detected an odd energy signal suddenly radiating from Nathan. It had to defend itself.
With its teeth covered in the blood from Nathan's leg, giving very bone-rattling optimization it snarled at Nathan before charging towards him. Nathan quickly picked back up the piece of wood and waited for the beast to come closer. 
As soon as the beast came close, Nathan aimed the wood towards the throat of the beast. Suddenly, a dark flame-like aura covered Nathan's hand, fueling him with immense power. It slammed the beast through five trees upon contact as the sound of bone and wood snapped.

Bloodied and bruised, Nathan stood, but he was victorious. He watched the beast gasp for air with a broken windpipe resulting in its inevitable death. 
Nathan's hand throbbed with pain from the force of the strange power. He had no idea as to why this strange power suddenly came over him. It felt dark and scary as if there was something sinister behind it. Nathan however had no time to think of it. His friends were his top priority.

"Nathan!" Shouted Sindy in relief.
Both Sindy and Andrew ran to his side, breathing as if they had just finished a marathon.
"Sindy, Andrew are you guys okay?? That thing didn't hurt you did it?"
"We're perfectly fine... Worry about yourself for once!" cried Sindy.
"You're in bad shape though... We need to get you treated, but we're stuck in this damn forest!" Cursed Andrew.
Nathan gave a dim laugh. Though their predicament hadn't improved much, he was glad they were still alive, "Nah, things could be worse. It's just my leg and my back. Worst-case scenario I won't be able to walk again."
"Your back?! Bro, then the worst-case scenario is that you won't be able to supply Sindy in the future!"

Sindy slapped Andrew so hard, that the sound vibrated through the dark forest. Andrew was immediately silenced with pain.
"We just need to get out of here an-an-and..." flustered— Sindy was unable to finish her statement, due to impure thoughts that flooded her mind. 

The three friends then froze, as another sound suddenly echoed from the distant darkness. It was similar to the one they had heard before the beast had attacked them.

"Oh no! Not again... Please, I don't wanna be dog food man!" Cried, Andrew.

Sindy and Nathan looked on in horror, expecting a giant creature to pounce on them at any moment. The sound got closer until two figures came into view. A girl that looked around 18 years, with lush straight purple hair and sparkly purple eyes came into view. By her side was a male that looked just a year younger, with a dark, cool complexion, dark-brown eyes, a muscular body, and hair shaved in a buzz cut. They both wore uniforms with the logo 'AA', which had the words 'Assassin's Agency' written stylishly underneath.

"People?" Queried the female stranger curiously,
"What are you all doing out here..? It's dangerous in this forest!"
"Look, one of them is injured! They need help Amanda!" exclaimed the male figure, as he stooped down to inspect Nathan's wounds.

Hope washed over the three friends as they felt like their luck had finally changed for the better.
"We're saved! And by a hottie too!" Declared Andrew, staring at the female stranger.
"Wait... how do we know we can trust these people?" Asked Sindy making her suspicion known.

"We assure you, we're friendly. See, look here!" Said the female stranger as she pointed to the logo on her chest.
"Yeah, sorry we don't know what that's supposed to mean. Not to mention, the word ASSASSIN'S doesn't seem very friendly," argued Sindy.
"Sindy, we need any help we can get right now. Not to mention, we need answers as to where the heck we are..." Noted Nathan dimly.

The strangers then paused and spoke softly to each other as if discussing something important. Their conversation lasted for at least 30 seconds before they turned back towards them.

"Okay!" started the female stranger, "It seems you all really don't know who we are... Based on the fact that you don't even recognize our organization's logo, probably means you're all not from here. Though that's quite odd no matter how I look at it... However..! I promise you we're one hundred percent friendly!"

The male figure then stepped forward, ready to introduce himself.
"My name is Leo and this is my teammate Amanda. We would love to explain everything to you, but it would be best if we got you out of here and back to HQ where it's safe."

"That's fine by me," declared Nathan.
Sindy was still wary of the two, but she knew that it was the best option based on their pitiful situation.
"Well then, shall we go?" asked Amanda.
Andrew nodded his head in approval alongside Sindy and Nathan. Slowly, they disappeared into the darkness with the two strangers. A story of suffering was about to begin.

Fueled by a tragic past, Nathan has always aimed to become a hero. However, in reality, he is no more than an average teenager in an average world.

Fortunately, on his 16th birthday, Nathan and his two best friends (Sindy and Andrew) are summoned to a world known as The Mind World. Nathan comes to bear the title of The Mind Hero and aims to save as many lives as possible.

However, he soon comes to know that the Mind World despises people from The Real World (The world which he is from). The Real World summons dangerous monsters called Demon Beasts which wreak havoc on the unfortunate world. Due to this, many people of the Mind World seek the destruction of the Real World and those who come from it.

Now, Nathan and his friends must go through a perilous journey to save both the people of The Mind World and the Real World, battling Demon Beasts, villains, and even Angels and Gods. Follow Nathan through his journey to find out how he solves this terrible crisis.

The update schedule is not completely secured, but chapters have a chance of being released in 2s and 3s. The first chapter starts off a little slow with pacing but things pick up if you choose to stick with the book.

This book is filled with great amounts of action and lovable characters.

"Dude, we're just as lost as you. Sindy and I woke up, only to find you unconscious and that we were lost in this dark-creepy forest."
"Dark-creepy forest?" Nathan gasped as he began to observe his surroundings. There were dead trees as far as the eye could see, drowning in nothing but darkness. The air was moldy and thick, and the ground was covered in bits of white rock— strangely resembling broken bits of bones.
"H-How did we get here?!" panicked Nathan.
"No idea man. As I said, this is where we woke up and it doesn't seem like anyone brought us here."
Sindy sneezed due to the moldy air— sniffling her nose, "I-I think it had something to do with the strange weather and the lightning bolt we got hit with. That's the only explanation for all of this."
Andrew nodded, "Well if we want answers, then first things first. We find a way out of here."
"That's something I can agree on," seconded Sindy.
"Nate, can you stand?"
"Yeah, my head's still a little hazy, but I think I can manage."

The three friends then huddled together as they walked desperately, searching for an exit. Sindy took constant glances at Nathan as if he could disappear at any moment.

"I'm not gonna just disappear in thin air you know Sindy. Don't have to worry yourself that much," comforted Nathan.
"I'll be the judge of that."
As the three walked on, the darkness seemed only to grow thicker. Their only source of light was the dim stars in the sky, which seemed to be the only normal thing in sight.

"Man, I swear I'd piss myself if something were to jump out at us..." said Andrew very unsettlingly.
"Oh my gosh! Andrew, please don't! This is creepy enough as it is!" cursed Sindy.


They were then immediately interrupted by the sound of something or someone stepping on a bone. A spine-chilling feeling took over Sindy's body, to the point where she latched onto Nathan's arm.

"Sindy, don't worry. Andrew just probably stepped on something."  Reassured Nathan.
 His reassurance however disintegrated into nothingness, when he saw Andrew shaking his head implying it was not him.


Stepping out of the darkness into full view, was a five-meter-sized wolf-like creature. It had bright red eyes, black fur, and paws that looked like they could slash a full-grown man in half. Sindy then released a blood-curdling scream, which seemed only to infuriate the beast more.

"RUN!!" screamed Andrew.
Nathan and Sindy didn't waste a second to hesitation. They dashed through the forest dodging trees and jumping over fallen logs as fast as they could, but it seemed only to be in vain. The wolf-like creature was just too fast— gaining on them with the utmost ease. 
Just when things looked like they couldn't get any worse, Sindy miss-timed her jump and tripped over a fallen tree.

"Sindy!" yelled Nathan perturbed.

The wolf was now literally right on top of her. Nathan didn't want to see one of his best friends get hurt. Recklessly, without any real plan, he picked up a piece of wood and charged the five-metered beast.

"No! Nate don't!" screamed Andrew helplessly as he watched both his friends fall into the mouth of danger.
The beast looked up, seeing Nathan as a threat, and charged him leaving Sindy behind. With jaws open wide the beast snapped at Nathan. With the aid of some luck, Nathan was able to lodge the piece of wood into its mouth, preventing it from closing. 
The beast then tackled Nathan to the ground, while aggressively shaking the wood free from its mouth.
Nathan did his best to crawl away, but the beast sank its teeth into his leg before tossing him into the side of an old tree. 
Pain crippled Nathan's body, leaving him unable to fight back. Flaming with rage and hunger, the beast went in for the kill. Death looked straight into the soul of Nathan, as he found himself helpless against the beast.

The beast suddenly yelped in pain, as a rock slammed into the side of its head.
"Sorry, Nathan doesn't taste too good! He would leave a bad aftertaste... Not that I taste any better of course!" trembled Andrew.

The beast, more agitated than ever, switched targets to Andrew. Unfortunately for Andrew, he tripped over another fallen tree and landed flat on his back.

"Crap man! Looks like this is it. I wish I lived a better life!"

Sindy tried to get on her feet to help Andrew, but she had twisted her ankle upon falling and wasn't going to make it in time.
Nathan watched in complete horror. He wished it was all just a bad dream he would soon awake from, but he knew better than to make wishes that were never going to happen. Writhing in pain and feeling as if he could collapse from agony at any moment— Nathan forced himself back onto his feet.

"A true hero doesn't make excuses as to why he didn't save someone... Come at me you oversized mongrel!" he taunted at the beast.

The beast halted and turned to charge at Nathan once again. Its teeth covered in the blood from Nathan's leg, giving very bone-rattling intimidations. Nathan quickly picked back up the piece of wood and waited for the beast to come closer. 
As soon as the beast came close, Nathan aimed at the wood to the throat of the beast. Suddenly, a dark flame-like aura covered Nathan's hand, fueling him with immense power. It slammed the beast through five trees upon contact as the sound of bone and wood snapped.

Bloodied and bruised, Nathan stood. He was victorious. He watched the beast gasp for air with a broken windpipe resulting in its inevitable death. 
Nathan's hand throbbed with pain from the force of the strange power. He had no idea as to why this strange power suddenly came over him. It felt dark and scary as if there was something sinister behind it. Nathan however had no time to think of it. His friends were his top priority.

"Nathan!"
Both Sindy and Andrew ran to his side, breathing as if they had just finished a marathon.
"Sindy, Andrew are you guys okay?? That thing didn't hurt you did it?" wept Nathan.
"We're perfectly fine... Worry about yourself for once." cried Sindy.
"You're in bad shape. We need to get you treated, but we're stuck in this damn forest!" cursed Andrew.
Nathan gave a dim laugh, "Nah, things could be worse. It's just my leg and my back. Worst-case scenario I won't be able to walk again."
"Your back?! Bro then the worst-case scenario is that you won't be able to supply Sindy in the future!"

Sindy slapped Andrew so hard, that the sound vibrated through the dark forest. Andrew was immediately silenced with pain.
"We just need to get out of here an-an-and..." flustered— Sindy was unable to finish her statement, due to impure thoughts flooding her mind. 

The three friends then froze, as another sound suddenly echoed from the distant darkness. It was similar to the one they had heard before the beast had attacked them.

"Oh no! Not again! Please, I don't wanna be dog food man!" cried Andrew.

Sindy and Nathan looked on in horror, expecting a giant creature to pounce on them at any moment. The sound got closer and closer until two figures came into view. A girl that looked around 18 years, with lush straight purple hair and sparkly purple eyes came into view. By her side was a male that looked just a year younger, with a dark, cool complexion, dark-brown eyes, a muscular body, and hair shaved in a buzz cut. They both wore uniforms with the logo 'AA', which had the words 'Assassin's Agency' written stylishly underneath.

"People?" said the female stranger curiously.
"What are you all doing out here? It's dangerous in this forest!"
"Look, one of them is injured! They need help Amanda." exclaimed the male figure, as he stooped down to inspect Nathan's wounds.

Hope washed over the three friends as they felt like their luck had finally changed for the better.
"We're saved! And by a hottie too!" declared Andrew, staring at the female stranger.
"Wait... how do we know we can trust these people?" Asked Sindy making her suspicion known.

"We assure you, we're friendly. See look here." Amanda pointed to the logo on her chest.
"Yeah, sorry we don't know what that's supposed to mean. Not to mention, the word ASSASSIN'S, doesn't seem very friendly," argued Sindy.
"Sindy, we need any help we can get right now. Not to mention we need answers as to where the heck we are." Noted Nathan.

The strangers then paused and spoke softly to each other as if discussing something important. This lasted for at least 30 seconds before they turned back towards them.

"Okay" started the female stranger, "It seems you all really don't know who we are. Based on the fact that you don't even recognize our organization's logo, probably means you're all not from here. However, I promise you we're one hundred percent friendly."

The male figure then stepped forward, ready to introduce himself.
"My name is Leo and this is my teammate Amanda. We would love to explain everything to you, but it would be best if we got you out of here and back to HQ where it's safe."

"That's fine with me," declared Nathan.
Sindy was still wary of the two, but she knew that it was the best option based on their pitiful situation.
"Well then, shall we go?" asked Amanda.
Andrew nodded his head in approval alongside Sindy and Nathan. Slowly, they disappeared into the darkness with the two strangers. A story of suffering was about to begin.
