A shadow ran frantically in the middle of the night.

"Who's that!? Who's talking!? Why are you in my head! Stop that!" Li Yuanwei shouted while running.

He was sweating like mad. He was breathless and was disoriented due to him running at an uneven fast pace. All the mind and body training together with his father vanished without a trace.

Although he was a black belt in Karate, Taekwondo, Wing Chun and many others martial arts, the confidence it brought was only limited to people he could see. It wasn't very effective on ghosts and guns.

He was a coward. He was scared of getting hurt. That was the reason why he trained himself in self-defense and martial arts. But also he wanted to be able to retaliate against those who seek to harm him.

"How did you know that?! How long have you been observing me?! Stop following me! Show yourself!" He shouted while still running. If anyone was even following him, they would've been confused on what he was asking for, is it to stop following him or to show himself? 

"Damn you! I was talking to you!" Li Yuanwei retorted. It was then and there that it became clear that he was talking about these words.

He slowed down and stopped in place, trying hard to calm down and catch his breath. Finally he was able to utilize his innate talent of reasoning and tried to think logically.

"..." He ignored the words in his head and thought back.

This all started a few minutes ago while he was walking home from the martial arts training after school. Words suddenly flowed into his head.

He was shocked. He knew he wasn't dreaming. He always knew when he was in a dream. And he knew this wasn't one. And that's what made him panic. 

Li Yuanwei liked reading novels. He liked to read about Fantasy novels. Isekai, reincarnation, supernatural abilities, swords and magic; he liked them all. He always dreamed to be in one.

But it was impossible. He firmly believed in reality, whether he liked it or not. It might be because of his clear understanding of the laws in this world that he could always see through magic tricks and misdirection.

This was what Li Yuanwei always say to himself: No matter how much you wish to fly, gravity will still pull you down. If you get killed, you die. The. End.


But this, these words right here, is very unrealistic. There was no one in sight. And it was like the voice didn't come from his surroundings but was directly projected in his head. No. It wasn't a voice. It was more like words. Words that he can instantaneously read. 

Then he began to run.

Back to the present.
"Wow. THANKS for the RECAP!"

"All my emotions, my hobbies and my beliefs, you know it quite well. Are you God? Or are you a god?"

"..."

"You say something when I never expected you too, and now you don't say anything when I want you! Have I gone mad?!" Li Yuanwei roared.

"'Li Yuanwei roared'? 'Li Yuanwei roared'? Roared my ass! See if I don't beat the sh*t out of you!" If someone really was behind everything, Li Yuanwei would definitely pounce on him like a hungry tiger.

"Haaa... Haaa... ..." He was tired. 

"It seems like these words aren't from a living being. Its too passive. Even a merciful god would be annoyed. And these words, they're all in the past tense. It is also omnipotent as it knows what I'm feeling right now." Li Yuanwei deduced.

'Is it... Is it a... Narration?'
'Am I in a story? A story about me who can hear the story? What a f*cking r*tarded story! What author would think of such a cr*ppy plot! Even children could do better.' Li Yuanwei cursed the author. What the hell is this story supposed to be?

'If I am in a story, does it mean I am not real? That I am just a fictional character? That I cannot think for myself and the author can do whatever he wants with me? Are these thoughts even mine? Will I live a life that I don't own? A life I don't have?' Li Yuanwei was panicking. He can't accept this.

What gives the most fear is not death, but that you might not even exist. That all you ever did was not done by you. That the freedom you always had was fake, only lead to believe so.

"Is that it? All I am is just an illusion? Like what it said, I might not even exist?" Li Yuanwei was breaking down. He let himself fall to the ground, not knowing what to do.

Li Yuanwei was silent. He then began to contemplate. To analyze. To think. 

'To think? Yes, to think!' He was enlightened.

"NO! I am me, and always I shall be! The f*ck am I doing! Some old guy once said, 'I think, therefore I am.' If I am aware of this, that means I gained control over my fate! It must mean that I have awakened to reality!" Li Yuanwei picked himself up, building up back his confidence and his rationality.

"Even if I am just a figment of imagination, an illusion, I must be grateful that I have come into existence! Why does it even matter that Im real or not, as long as I can think, I will make my own destiny! If not, if that's the way it should be, then so be it. I may die or forgotten, but I will live with no regrets." Li Yuanwei felt himself stronger than ever, in mind and in spirit.

As he was reviving himself, his thoughts were interupted by the honking of a speeding car.

'Wow. This narration is quite useful. I can detect things without even knowing.'

Instead of avoiding the car, now just a few meters away he moved towards it. With a quick jump, he did a cartwheel over the car.

It was not as simple as look like. You need to calculate the distance of the car, its speed, the height of the jump, the force of your hand, and many more. This was what he excelled at. Calculation and Combat Prowess. Something that couldn't help him overcome the mental episode earlier.

Li Yuanwei was smiling. With the help of his ability to hear the narration, it would make his life more exciting. 

Still in the air after the cartwheel, what he saw next drained all the blood from his face.

Hi, it's me, Martin I'm probably a character of this novel, I kinda think that you would be getting bored by having a narration of our story by someone else, so, he, the main writer let me take over his narration to narrate my own story to the readers with my beloved Mint.

so shall we start?

"so Mint would you mind taking the movement to narrate our story or shall I do that."

"I can do it Martin but I'm kinda busy now so you go first."

"ok"

so...where was the narrator stopped his speech?....Aaaaaaa...a
right.
so basically, the last time we meet was at the library I talked to Mint and hope to see him soon and also hang out together. but things were little different from the beginning of time. I think it was not the right time, so, that was our last meeting.
I haven't seen him for a long while. but as my programmed nature, I move on, and at least it was about 4 months I haven't properly seen him.
the circumstance was like maybe we were too busy with our own lives to see each other.

he was happy and good with his friends, family and surrounding. and I was like just furthermore occupied by my own schedule. 

we were enjoining our own joy...

but that not the path that has been chosen for us. after all these 4 months in the university, we nearly see each other. but the silence has to broke somewhere.
so basically it was the time when wind blowing too harshly and the clouds turned around the rain toward us at night about 7:30 pm, I was returning to my dome and even forget to bring a raincoat so I have to suffer this long rain hitting me directly over my body and I can barely see anything but I have to rush home soon as possible so I took my motorbike🏍 and ran swiftly. 

I haven't told you yet, actually, I was now shifted to a dome which was close to the university about 4 km away from it. 

yup, I have a home here as mention before but I want an independent life so I ask my father to pack my stuff and let me move to enjoy a little independence. 

he agreed, with a little bit of a sad face having his 2nd son to go out by all himself who has never been out before more than 2 days away from home. I know it's hard but, he understands the situation.
My father and mother are so important to me as they were not only my family and I love them a lot but they have been supporting me all the time even before my coming out.

I was about 17 year's old then I tell my parents that "I like boys too." there was an awarded silence by just hearing that back then but that's the truth they were looked sad when the news came out. but as soon. as they make up there mind to accept the truth everything is fine and going smoothly.
it was not easy but I'll tell you the whole story from the beginning...

"Hey Mint, do you think this Martin is like something tremendous looks. I guess I have seen someone has fallen for him."

"No, not again, Jasmine I have told you a thousand time I don't think he is the one. I don't feel the flame that makes me say I'm fired up now."

As for the boy she talked about is the Junior in my university.
he has a charming and cute personality that can attract everyone around him, and me tough as a stone.

Mint is pure Thai but Martin was a mixed-blood of northeast Indian mother and Thai father. Martin is a Christan and born Indian at his Granny's house in Assam. he lived with his mother in his Granny's house for 2 years and then shifted to Thai to his father. his mother and father were friends at college.]

I used to be the one always stay inside the nutshell.
The protective layer I have made was just to tolerate my self insecurity. but by spending times with him together, the shield cracked, I can feel things differently.

I assume this was the bond between the two of us as a friend 

but after a while thinking of my personal heart carefully, I get it, what I have assumed as a good friend of mine is now more precious. Feelings have evolved, I have finally Fallen in Love.

( I feel like somehow I should add some erotic from now onwards. so I take a step further and now it's has as some bonus chapter mostly erotic in between some chapter. it will appear randomly when I feels the story was getting bored. and my at most desire, I want this book to adapt in series. if possible.?)

Melody's POV

We were taking the test while me and Lewis we're sending answers the whole time via codes. Once the test was over, we did not get caught even once. Our plan worked!! When the bell rang, we packed our things and headed out of Physics Class. "Ms. Dixon, would you mind staying here for a moment?" Mr. Brown said. O-oh no! Did he find out?! "I'll be here." Lewis said as he tapped my shoulder to reassure me.

"You, once again, got a fantastic result on test Melody. I will ask you one thing though," He said. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time he spoke, thinking 'is this the end'? 'Will Lewis and I get busted'? 

"Could you please take these books to the library please? I know you have a small physique but I'm quite busy right now. Checking all of my other classes' papers that they turned in after I extended the deadline for two weeks. You know how other students are." He said. "Y-yes. I would g-gladly." I sighed. Thank god he didn't find out. 

"Don't you think Lennox scored suprisingly high on this test?" He said. Now I'm scared.

"Because I mean usually he's just making paper airplanes and giving them names, which is, don't get me wrong, it's way better than being noisy in class but this is just surprising." He said which gave me goosebumps.

"Oh Mr. Brown, don't look down on me so much, I might not look like it, but I love Physics! I may have joined a contest or two in the past as well." Lewis entered the classroom.

"Perfect timing Lennox. I'm not doubting your abilities, I'm actually very impressed with your score! Keep up the good work you two. Now, could you assist Dixon with these books and carry them to the library? Just tell them Mr. Brown are returning those." Mr. Brown said.

"With pleasure." Lewis said and we head to the library carrying the books.

Phew, that was a close call. "Thanks." I said to Lewis while we were on the way to the library. "For what?" He said. "You went in earlier, if you didn't, who knows what I could've said." I said. Clearly I have no courage to talk to other people, if Lewis wasn't there I might've said something stupid. "Oh please, like this is anything new to me. I've saved your butt so many times to begin with. Just think of it as our daily routine. You're my damsel in distress, and I'm your knight in shining armor. Easy as that." He said. Well, he isn't wrong. 

Author's note: Heh, that was smooth. Also, hey narrator, why so quiet?

Narration: I'm traumatized.

Author's note: Serves you right. Haha.

Narration: Its not my fault! I didn't expect her to think like that when they're still what? 16? 17? I mean we're about the same age and I don't think like that at all- Oh no.

Narration: As i said, don't take everything I say seriously. I'm just bluffing. Anyway, let me just do my job real quick. 

While they were walking to the library, which wasn't all that fun. Lewis noticed that Melody couldn't really see because of how many books she was carrying, also let me just clear this out. Lewis was carrying 7 books, and Melody was carrying 5 books. You might be wondering, "How could she not see when she was just carrying 5 books?", well about that, she's pretty short. 5'3 at 16 years old. Not really the height you'd expect a 11th grader. 

Lewis' POV

"Hey Mallow, can you see?" I ask her.

Narration: Well this is new. Oh no, he's a second lead. AUTHOR PLEASE DON'T MAKE HIM LIKE SELENE I BEG OF YOU.

Author's note: Hold your horses, jeez. I promise I won't. Let the guy talk. 

"Not really, I sort of took the big books." She said. She did HAHAH. Sucks to be her. Just kidding, She was just so cute when she said;

5 minutes ago

"You have got to be kidding me! You're letting me carry these small books while you're struggling carrying those?? Let me carry some!!" She said.

I was carrying 10 sort of fat pbooks while she was carrying 2 small ones. And mind you, I am an athlete. I have gone through training to have these strong arms, so I'm positive that I'm fine if I carry 15 books.

I really just don't want your small fragile arms to break off. I can't really afford the hospital fees if you get hurt.

"I can carry the big ones! Do you see these big biceps I have?" She tried to flex.

I honestly just see a bone covered with the tiniest amount of fat.

"Ah, of course! Feel free to get ones you think you can carry." I told her. I mean, she would still try to carry them if I said no.

"Yey, I'll carry these." She said. Wow, she said she had big biceps and she just adds 3 books to what she was carrying.

"And I thought you could carry all of them. Lets just go." I chuckle.

Narration: This. This guy. I like him. Anyway, enough flashback. Back to the story.

"So, do you want help?" I tell her.

"No! W-we're almost there anyway." She struggled.

"Whatever you say. Now, chop chop. I'm hungry." I tell her. It was lunch time already but we volunteered to carry these. Aren't we so courteous.

Narration: To be honest, Mr. Brown asked you guys a favor so technically you didn't really volunteer but go off man. Haha.

When we got to the library and left the books there, boy, did we let out the biggest sigh of relief. My arms were about to fall off. "Melody, what do you think the cafeteria has right now? I'm so hungry I could eat three trays." I said as I looked at Melody, on the ground.

"Hey! Are you ok? Do I have to carry you to the infirmary?" I ask her. God damn it, I should've known this was gonna happen. She was sweating and her arms are literally shaking. 

"I-I-I'm fine-" She collapsed. I carry her on my back and rushed her to the infirmary. No, please, not again. 

Narration: What do you mean 'again'? Is she terminally sick or something?

At the Infirmary 

"Mallow, you promised me that this wouldn't happen again. Please Mallow, don't do this to me. You're gonna kill me." I tell her, but she's still not opening her eyes.

"P-please tell me she's fine. Nothing severe happened, right?" I quickly ask the doctor as he comes by to check on Melody. Please. I won't forgive myself if something bad happens to her. This is all my fault.

"Are you her boyfriend?" He asked.

"N-no. I'm her bestfriend. Doc, please tell me this isn't related to her h-heart condition." I said on the verge of tears.

Narration: Oh no. 

"Thankfully, it isn't. She can just stay here and rest. You can go back to your class-" 

"No- I mean she isn't friends with anyone else but me. I should be here for her. I don't really care about class anyway." I cut him off.

Narration: *sniffles* This man is a real one. If only all men could be like Lewis. Humanity would evolve so beautifully.

But there is an important notice for you today. Due to various reasons, I will be rewriting the story and this time, it wouldn't be started from the point Cherry was born but instead to when she reached 8 years old.

Because of my quite messed up story plot at the beginning, I have decided to determine the plot so that I won't derail from the main story and go on in a circle. Charlotte Grace was a quiet girl who was quick witted and smart but didn't know how to express her feelings properly since she didn't interact with people much. 

Her parents died when she was only 4 years old, leaving her with herself to look out for in an orphanage. 

She depended on herself in everything and survived with sheer hard work but despite that, she never felt like she was alive. No friends, no lover, no parents nor any relatives made her feel empty deep inside.

Ravi asked Shriya "I didn't expect Mr. Malhotra to be like this.  He is so considerate and caring".

She smiled and said "He always is".

Ravi said "I heard so much about him being so introverted and indifferent towards others".

She replied with utmost confidence and it looked like she could bet her life on it "It is not at all true, he is the kindest person I have ever known". 

Ravi replied "No, I can see his kindness is only towards his own people but not for everyone".

Just then Abhi came back and he sat beside his woman and asked "What are you two talking about ?"

He ignored the person infront of him and Ravi smiled at Shriya. 

She looked at him back and he replied "I told you" Shriya giggled and Abhi looked at her  with confusion and asked "What ?"

The person called Ravi was so cool and he was new to the industry that he was still not so used to that industry atmosphere. He just completed his studies and he has that youthful side in him and he can mingle with other people easily. 

He spoke to her just casually and he was not familiar with Abhishek Malhotra's attitude towards outsiders. Moreover he felt a kind of familiarity and relaxed because of Shriya being there which led to Abhi's cool and generous attitude.

Before coming to meet Abhi he was so tensed and he thought he would mess up but seeing Abhi all cool and homely he felt a bit at home.

After that he started narrating the story and Abhi liked the plot very much that he decided to sign the movie. He then asked "Who do you want to cast as the female lead ?".

Ravi said "Shanaya Singh will be great but I don't think she will do it, Monitha Bhatnagar will also suit the character but.." he didn't say anything further and left the sentence hanging. 

Abhi asked "What is it ?" . He said it in a cold tone that Ravi was frightened to say anything 
 further. 

She said with a smile "If you have any more recommendations feel free to say it?".

Though Shriya didn't want to involve herself in the narration or in giving his opinion, she couldn't help but involve herself as she liked the story very much that she took the initiative to ask for his opinion. 

Ravi said "I just thought that your chemistry is great and I am sure you will look great on big screen also and you fit the character well, so I was just wondering if you can do it".

Shriya was so shocked that she didn't know how to react. Moreover she was afraid that Abhi might be upset with her for her involvement. She looked at him and he was already seeing her with an amused expression on his face. 

He was enjoying her cute expression and he always liked it when she acted like a scared cat. That was his favourite and he always tried to scare her to see that expression of her.

Abhi spoke to Ravi in a normal way for the first since morning as if he was speaking to his friend "She is just a student now and is not interested in movies. Moreover, she is not a fan of publicity".

There was no coldness or anything in his voice only love and care when he spoke about his woman. 

Shriya was about to decline Ravi's offer but Abhi helped her by talking to him.

Ravi nodded his head and said "I know, I just asked," then he said looking at Abhi  "Mr. Malhotra I forgot to say there is a kiss scene and I heard that one should inform you beforehand if such scenes are there in your film."

While saying this sentence, Ravi involuntarily looked at Shriya and she caught him looking at her.

Even Abhi looked at her and he has a teasing smile "You have a problem with it ?".

Shriya replied "No, go ahead, You are already a forced bachelor now, enjoy".

They laughed and thus the entire three hour session of story narration ended in a lively manner. Abhi liked the storyline very much and he already knew it woll do great and gain good collections at the box office. 

He decided to sign the movie but he had to see the other things like the producer, director, camera person, female lead and crew etc. Afterall story alone cannot guarantee the success of the film. 

Then Ravi left the place and before leaving he promised Shriya that he will keep her existence a secret when she asked him to do so. Abhi felt relaxed when he saw Shriya speaking to a stranger without confining herself. She even gave a handshake to Ravi before he left. 

Abhi understood that she was fine now and  back to her normal self. He leaned onto the sofa and said "Your semester will start after this week. Want to go on a vacation with me before your college starts ?"

Abhishek is a famous actor in India and is known for his sincerity at work place.  He is a  cold, mysterious and oof person. His first love is Shriya Sheren, who is an orphan. He follows her for almost three years , without her knolwedge.  

But he comes in front of her one day, seeing him she asks him "Aren't you the famous Actor Abhishek Malhotra, Are you the one who wants to spend the night with me."

Unknown said angry as he opens his eyes and realized it was dark "Huh, Oh Shoot. What time is it" Unknown said as he thought for a moment "An Ultimate Master huh, Im an Ultimate master, but being a sword striker is more equivalent" Unknown said talking to himself, Unknown arrived at Naturals house and came through the door. He sees Natural and Static looking at a black binder, "uh-huh, okay see you later Verilan...remember your part of our team, so make sure you stop by once in a while okay. Bye" Silver said and hung up, Unknown sees Roxy and Calabaza playing Tic tak Toe. "Whats This..a quest that i have to walk by to" Unknown said as his eyes widened as he felt a strange presents near by him and he heard a whisper "Shes Alive, Shes Alive, Shes Alive...." The Whisper said as Silver Softly tapped Unknown, he jumped a little as he speaks "Shes...Alive" Unknown said slowly trying to figure out What the whisper mean't, "Unknown are You okay, listen to me" Silver said as Unknown stared blankly, Natural quickly got up and walk over to Unknown "Creator Of My Story, Narration Combine And Find What Is Interacting With Unknown, Brake The Strings Attached, Make A Rift And Pull The Person To This Side" Natural said and Uses A Summon Technique To Bring An Invisible Person To The Other Side "Whats Going On, Unknown" Silver sees a girl as it crossed through, the girl wasn't able to catch herself "Watch Out!" The girl falls down as Natural Realized, it was a girl, Unknown Looked Around confused 
"Whats Going On" Unknown said as Silvers eyes widened "its a girl, let me help you" Silver said as she helps her up "She's Alive" she said as Naturals eyes widened "Alive, who's alive. Q: How can you start writing a sequel to a story you haven't finished yet?
A: Project Soul is a very ambitious project of mine, the story is immerse, its Universe is incredibly huge and can lead to many side stories/events in different timelines, it's literally a never-ending story. Even though I haven't finished the main story (which is currently at about 80% finished) I can already set a new storyline way after the events of the main story.

Q: Is the story still the same? What is it about?
A: The core elements of Project Soul are the same as in Project Soul Reloaded, it's not a direct sequel, it's a different story but the core elements can be found all around the storyline, and it's very spiritual. I can't talk a lot about it (spoilers)

Q: Do you have any writing skills?
A: No, the truth is, I write mostly what I feel, I've been developing such a huge project with no writing skills at all, however, I know what I want to do. I carefully write the dialogue between characters, and when it comes to narration, the best way to show what is happening is by showing it, I could show a scene if I edit it myself and that will help a lot.

Q: There are so many genres? Can you clarify that out?
A: Action and adventure are the main genre. However, it will focus strongly on the supernatural and spiritual themes. It will explore the different layers of humanity, anger, joy, sadness, death, life, and transform them into a beautiful, innocent message.

Q: Is it worth reading your story?
A: Project Soul Reloaded is a story that has a lot of fighting, a lot of action, but at the same time it has many heart-breaking moments, scenes, dialogues, etc. If you like that combination, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Project Soul Reloaded follows the story of a young guy named Tadashi. One day, after being knocked down and failing to save a girl from being beaten to death, he felt that there was no reason for him to live like he wanted to, protecting the people he loves.
However, a mysterious identity helps him redeem himself and uncover the secrets of his life and who he really is, leading to his awakening and unlocking a series of powers he once had.
With his new supernatural powers, he can now fight those who cause damage to people, as well as discovering more of his true identity.

36. Two lessons from a story 

The ancient King Harishchandra is known to have lived his whole life based on truthfulness and being in integrity with his word. The story of Harishchandra says that at one point he even sold his wife and children in order not to compromise his integrity. 
Once, in a village, a preacher was narrating the story of Harishchandra. After the narration he asked a man, 'What did you learn from this story?' The man replied, 'I learnt that I should always be truthful, no matter what price I have to pay for it.' 
The preacher was happy. Then he asked another man, 'What did you learn?' The second man said, 'I learnt that in an emergency, you can even sell your wife, nothing wrong!' 
Understand you can learn two very different things from the same story! You never experience Life as IT is, but as YOU are - because each of you sees the whole Life through the filter of your own patterns and incompletions.
