"Boring, this is so boring.. Is there any exciting things to do?"
A youth in his twenties was lying down near the river bank muttered that words. His eyes was closed as he enjoyed the sound of flowing river and the wind that caressed his face and hair.
He almost dedicated his entire life to pursue excitement and thrills to ease his dull life. What he did and what he tried to achieve, almost can be done without much struggle as if there was an invisible helping hands. This create a gap in his heart that made him to seeks many different kinds of excitement.
In the end, he still found that his life is still dull and boring. It still lacking thrill.
'What if I was thrown into another reality with fantasy or sci-fi setting like those in fiction? that sounds fun.'
The youth smirked at the thought. This kind of "What if" situations and it's daydreams tend to appeared on him mind to ease his dull life.
While happily engrossed in his daydream, he heard a hoarse voice not far away from the place he was laying down. 
"Stephen Chen, if I could made your dreams come true how will you pay me back?"
Stephen's eyelids opened faintly as he was surprised by the voice who suddenly asked him a chance to realize what he dreams.
"And what is this dream? I don't remember talking to anyone about it," Stephen smiled as he said this to the other party.
Waking up and turning his head towards the place where the voice came from. There he found a man who stand tall beside a tree.
"What the.." exclaimed Stephen as he couldn't see the other party's face at all.
Excluding the face, he can see the other appearance clearly.
The voice came from a well-dressed lean man in with pale skin. He wear a black tuxedo and white shirt that has a red necktie on it, if he was inside corporation building then many people would mistake him as the CEO.
"Don't you always dreams about other worlds and realities? I can grant your wish." The man chuckled after he said the words.
Stephen then replied with a tone full of derision as if he was talking with someone nuts, "You really sounds like a devil. Nothing is free in this world, if you could grant me my dream then what do you want from me?"
"Of course there is nothing free, you will know what I want from you after you made a deal with me. You will see if I really could grant your dream or not and after that you must pay my service." Said the man to Stephen which the latter only nodded.
"Then at least could you tell me who you're?" Stephen keep scrutinizing the man face for a while but to no avail, he still couldn't see anything except pair of purple eyes. As if there was a veil that keep obstructed him from seeing the man's face.
"Do you.. really what to know?" The man asked Stephen to confirm his decision.
"No. Probably no, not today at least." Said Stephen as he suddenly felt a chill by just looking at the man's eyes.
This eyes.. unlike any other eyes he ever seen in his short life, seems like an Abyss. An Abyss that have no depth and contains chaos without order.
'Is he some kind of deity or a devil?' This thought come into his mind abruptly. But what the other party said next blew his mind.
"deity? maybe but a devil? We don't have a concept such as evil or good, so you better control how you think about other. Not everyone fond of being judged by their toy."
"A toy you said?" Stephen ask as he narrowed his eyes.
"Yes a toy, all of you mortal and lower being are just a toy for us to be played with."
He couldn't refute his words. He felt that refuting his words is useless and he better stay silent.
"You should be grateful to become my toy, my entertainment, as you.. will be entertained too." The man laughed. He laugh like just found a suitable toy to be played with.

What if you're approached by a higher being who declared that all being below it are mere toys to entertain them?
Watch Stephen Chen as he was thrown into many different worlds and realities just to entertain higher being. But is it really for a mere entertainment?

Akihiko: Yes, for now read some before you sleep, don't read them all at once though and you can ask any questions you want.

It's been another month since i came to the Einzbern Castle but this month, i spend my time teaching Irisviel talking patterns and social interactions, the one teaching being the anti social me of course it wasn't perfect but she will have to fix those herself in time as we progress.

Irisviel: Why am i reading these ?

Akihiko: Because reading is fun ?

Irisviel: Then why aren't you reading ?

Akihiko: I have already read those, i just brought them for you and i am going to build a present for you while you finish them.

The books here are just lighthearted history, some slice of life novels ect. and yes HP counts as slice of life if you compare it to average life of a magus.

Irisviel: What's a present ?

Akihiko: It's a surprise someone gives to another for special occasions or just wants to give.

Irisviel: Can i get it early if i read really quick !

This reaction is what i am working towards, that glimmer of expectation, that light in her eye that's carrying emotions.

Akihiko: *Chuckle* Well, i asked you to read them slowly since the present isn't ready yet.

Irisviel: I see...

Aww, *Head pats intensifies*

Irisviel: That's somehow warm ?

I am going to make her addicted to head pats by the time we leave here. There's just something calming about patting heads.

While my plan is in motion i have took an book out of the necklace for myself, while it may have been to just "create" a car that's running with prana, i enjoy the building process itself.

So for this i am further researching into runes in my head since i can finally use the shiny ones that needs divinity and i am also reading about cars and it's components, how does engines work, how the wheels gets wired to the steering wheel ect.

I am going to build this stuff from scratch while making a Prana/Chakra powered engine for it, it's going to work and sound like a car but it won't have all the nasty bad sides of destroying the environment.

Our lives went along as Irisviel slowly read her books and i started to draw a concept look for the internal of the car.

At some point i finally decided to introduce her to movies, i didn't show her any Sci Fi or any fantasy ficton since her common sense is not at the point of differencing it from reality, i don't want her to think there are real Jedi out there... Well technically there are in a another universe but that's not the point.

So she got to watch stuff like Forest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, sometimes comedy, i really wanted to make her watch, Scary Movie(not horror it's the name of it) but i held back even i have no idea how that would effect her.

For the whole year she read books, watched movies and asked me questions about them and things she didn't understand and there were some deep questions there like, "Why people hurt each other" or "Why did they hit children" or "Why wars happen" like seriously even i don't know the answers for those, i just gave her my opinions on them while adding that these are my views and it could change from person to person.

She seemed like she was reaching to a conclusion with every anwser i gave her.

At the end of the year in december. One could see Irisviel looking after some winter flowers in the garden of the castle.

This part of the garden is hers, she wanted to look after a living being, well she first asked for a pet but i gave the opinion of flowers.

I doubt a pet would stay as a pet here, up in the mountains filled with wolves and bears.

Anyway, i observe her as she took care of her garden then she stopped and turned to me.

Irisviel: Akihiko, may i ask something ?

She seems fidgety like she's embarrassed to ask whatever she's going to ask.

Akihiko: Sure, don't hold back.

Irisviel: Can i ask about your life ? ... I mean we always watched those movies and i am reading those books but i am starting to feel they don't really reflect reality, like i have watched people live their lives but even in those ones that set in medieval time doesn't reflect our lives.

After that she talked about the difference of the lives of people in fictional works and our own.

While she expressed that she wanted something "Genuine" i just had a brilliant smile on my face.

Finally she grew up and realized the difference. I didn't want to make her watch movies and just after that say "Hey those are not real" it's like Santa, child should realize that it's not real on their own. At least that's my opinion.

Irisviel: Mou! i am saying something serious here please don't laugh at me *Pouts*

Damn it, she's too cute, going to her side i just pinched her cheeks and patted her head.

Akihiko: hahaha i am not laughing at you, i was just happy that you realized what's different between fiction and real life.

Irisviel: You did that on purpose... that's mean! 

*Head pats*

She said that while punching my chest! so cute !

If one were to observe from outside, one can see a man head patting a flustered women while the women in question is trying to ran away from her embarrassment by hitting the man even more.

After Irisviel's awakening to common sense and her subsequent realization of what's real or not, i introduced her to Sci Fi and Fantasy genre's.

She wasn't all that exited about fantasy since you know we're living in a world with magecraft and magic.

On the other hand she started to ask stuff about my life, i have made a confusion barrier that surrounding two of us to make sure we're not being listened and filled her in on my real identity of Sixth Magician, there's no reason to lie to her.

She being a Homunculus came equipped with knowledge of important people and that of course includes me as well.

Irisviel: What! if you're the Sixth Magician why seek the grail ? doesn't your power alter reality ?

To her question i explained chakra and how i made them buy it Sixth Magic by the end of my explanation she was really amused at me fooling the whole moonlit world.

Irisviel: But then again, why seek the grail if you have such powers ?

Akihiko: Answer is, i am not seeking the grail.

Irisviel: Then why go through such long preparations to get hired and bother with the family head ?

To this question i pointed at her, this is going to be a cheesy line but there's just no other way to put it.

Akihiko: It's going to sound weird but i am just here for "you".

She halted for a while before continuing.

Irisviel: What do you mean ?

Akihiko: Don't misunderstand me, i am here for "you" not the grail.

Irisviel: I don't understand how did you knew about me back then to prepare for all of this.

Akihiko: Iris, you have just awakened your personality and you're already confused, i will answer all of your questions in time but can you shelve that question for now.

Irisviel: You're right, my head feels like there's lead inside.

*Healing head pats*

Irisviel: Thank you.

Smiling i kept patting her. Not like i can tell her that she was a anime character just yet, it would break the common sense i have strived to build. Just getting out of this world is going to blow hee mind.

At my grumbling Irisviel tilted her head not understanding why would i mention gambling at this point of conversation, i just shook my head not wanting to talk about it.

Akihiko: Well finish your sketching then i will start building it, now i need to go and see Acth.

I left the room while Irisviel waved me goodbye.

It has been two years since i came here meaning there's 8 years left for the war, during this time i managed to "crack" Acth's head and got him to pack up everything Einzberns owned in a discreet manner.

Also since he's under my thumb i don't need the whole, "She needs to watch Star Wars Marathon to understand society" deals and excessive use of Kotoamatsukami.

Now days Acth could be seen acting polite even to his maids and being relatively humane, who would have thought he would became more humanlike after i messed with his head anyway.

The reason i want the Einzberns is that i have finally have a life supporting planet inside me Yaaay!

What that's about you might ask and here's the answer.

I already have the ownership of the Naruto World and i will own this one after my business is done but there's nothing better than your own creation.

In this case my plan is making a giant dungeon in Naruto and Nasuverse worlds that will spread my religion and those who get in and survive will be transferred to the "New World" 

My own world, where resources are plenty and chakra is dense, yes i am going with chakra and the dungeon itself will help people adjust to it, only those who pass through the challenges shall step on the "New World"

The beasts inside will be either be made by me or will be transferred from the two worlds but no peaceful beast shall be used as monsters. Peaceful races like faires get free tickets inside.

There's even a prize for being early, those who finish early will become the moderator gods of the place and those who reach the new world first and transferred into my version of Valhalla or Olympus or whatever.

Don't get me wrong when i say this though to go through the dungeon you need both physical and mental strength and i will make sure to cut the bad seeds before they bloom.

Not like i can end all evil but i can choose the what kind of evil i will allow.

What about the ones don't give a shit or can't participate, fear not. The dungeon is not mandatory.

Those who want to stay in their own world will stay in their own world. Living and dying reincarnating and eventually they will get in the dungeon.

After 10-100 generations whole Nasuverse and Naruto World will transferred to my own world, It's not perfect but this is the best i could come up with.

I am going to have the Einzberns Homunculus act like Valkyries but they will have their own will, they will just have set of rules that shouldn't be broken.

Not like i am arrogant or childish like the generic gods.

Getting in the room of Acth i can see that he's coming up with a better way to make the Homunculus to make them more humane, like being able to bear children and such.

Acth: Sorry sir, it's just they weren't designed for this in the first place but don't worry with the resources you have brought and the Einzbern craft i shall achieve your goal.

Akihiko: Don't overwork yourself there are still time not like i am going to start right after the war we still have time until 2004.

Saying this Acth got up from his seat and moved towards the safe and got the Avalon out.

Acth: Scabbard of the King Arthur, he will be a great choice for a servant.

WARNING my stories generally lack spirit i write for fun and to free my head from this particular plot.

Expect inconsistency bullshit power ups and messed up logic and also don't expect good grammar.

I woke up early than usual and reminded myself it's Christmas today and I could not feel any zeal of it, I never did. Christmas was meant to be a festival but for us it was different, every year it is used an event to promote sinful mafia businesses and that meant trouble every Christmas. And this year, I was the victim who has to undergo the wrath of fate or I should call wrath of my father. He  has always been selfish and I could not expect anymore from him. 
I brushed my teeth,took a long, hot shower and put my orange jumpsuit with stripes on.
I decided to leave my hair open and headed towards dining hall where everybody were having their breakfast. I thought I was early today but never mind!
I wished Merry Christmas to all and everyone wished me back expect Mr Costello. He doesn't have manners I guess.  my mother said, 

"Good morning, sweet heart.You are up early, today."

"Oh! but I think I'm the last person to reach here."

I stated and Franco's mother smiled and said, 

"Don't worry you are not late,we just gathered here come and serve yourself, El."

She is so sweet to believe that she is actually the wife of one of the most cold hearted men I know. Franco's nature must be inherited by her. 
I smiled and took my seat to breakfast. 
I served myself a toast, a pancake and a freshly brewed coffee. My father was reading newspaper and Franco's father was busy taking information about functioning of his business in his absence. Everyone was quiet,just Neel asking silly questions from Franco about his cars and all. 
After breakfast everyone left for their respective works. I did not wanted to go to my room and feel caged so I decided to walk around in our garden.Franco saw me,not going in the direction of room and came to me to ask, 

"Are you going somewhere?"

"Just to check out the new blossoms in the garden."

I replied. 

"Can I join you?"

He asked. 

"Why not? let's go."

The weather was perfect to have a walk. Franco walked with me and we noticed some fresh roses and Lilies growing.I showed to Franco the small purple iris plants which planted last year and they were starting to bloom. We also had daffodil,dahlia,etc. I told him about some rare flowers like Anguloa Uniflora, Floxglove,craddle orchids and few other of plants and he tried to grasp the information and said, 

"Wow you know so much about gardening."

"I have always loved plants,many of them I planted myself from my childhood till now. I love to have varieties of them in my garden and during spring this once looked like heaven."

I said,imagining the fragrance and view of this place during spring.

"The weather is good today, it's snowing now.Do you want to take a drive to enjoy the the great Christmas day?"

Franco asked. Yes I wanted to go with him but what if I was needed in the house and my father would be angry if he found me missing. 

"Yeah I want to but I don't think we can go now as my mother would be needing for the preparation of eve."

I felt bad,rejecting when he actually asked for the first time. 

"Never mind,we can go some other time."

said Franco. 

We went back inside and headed toward our respective rooms. The party will start at six in the evening and it was just eleven now. I was bored just roaming around in my room and regretted,not going with Franco. I decided to take a nap and it took me half an hour of struggling to finally fall asleep.
I was awaken by the knock on the door I noticed time,it was already two, I thought everyone must have had their lunch by this time,who could it be.I got up from the bed sleepily and reached the door rubbing my eyes,slightly shocked by discovering Franco on door he smiled and asked, 

"Did I disturb your sleep?"

"No,not a problem. Do you need something?"

I asked.

"No, you were just missing during lunch and I was bored without anyone's company, so I thought why not go to you."

"Oh! yeah, you are welcome."

I opened door for him and he entered my room for the first time. 

"Do you read these books?"

He asked noticing my book shelf. 

"Yeah I like reading especially sci-fi books."

I said. 

"I read a few books and I do like reading but don't get enough time for it under the burden of being future alpha."

He said with somewhat guilt in his voice and then smiled. oh! he looks so hot when he smiles.

We talked about books and his favourite movies which informed that he too is a big sci-fi fan and most of the movies we loved were common. 
We sat on my bed and he told me about events of his childhood. When he first held a gun and his hands shook a drilling machine,he got beaten up by his dad for failing on hitting his target which was a living human. I felt bad for him. He was just 15 when this happened.
I told him about my birthdays and how Cindy never leaves a chance to make them special since we were child and how we have grown together.
We talked and talked,laughed together and the  time passed it was already fou and we did not realise that we have spent so much time chatting. 
My mom came to inform, 

"You should get ready now, we have to go to the party."

Then she noticed Franco and asked, 

"You needed something?You should have came to me."

She said in an overly concerned voice. Stop acting for once,mom!

"No, I was just bored so came to get her company."

Franco said. 

"Oh! then it's good."

she replied and left after asking us to get ready fast. 

"So,bye for now.See at the hallway."

He grinned and left.

But not to worry kids, they said they would be visiting us sometime and that would give your mum and I the opportunity to take you on a trip sometime to visit your parents over there.

Ok dad, said Desha. But Dad can I bring Natasha along with me sometime? I mean if the family happen to travel over there before our wedding?

Yes you can son, she is welcome to come with us, she is like a daughter to us son, and your sis Desha will have someone to chit chat with other than your mother. It will all be fun.

Thanks dad, you welcome son. Now that everything is settled, can we please finish our dinner, it is getting cold, said Lakshmi. Ok mum, everyone including her husband Purhab replied at the same time.

At Delhi Cinemas...

This was the third movie that Sonal and Jasmine were watching, they had both informed their parents respectively that they are at Delhi cinemas and won't be home until dark.

Before they left earlier to Delhi cinemas, Sonal had also instructed one of the guards to drive Jasmine's car back to her house. 

Jasmine is one that didn't like taking bodyguards, she was just like her fiancée Rohit. Rohit never liked using bodyguards either.

It was around 9pm that the movie ended, when they came out of the cinemas, Sonal said to Jasmine, it was a great idea we bought tickets for the bodyguards and driver aswell.

I mean it won't be right to leave them outside, they are guarding and protecting us and it is only right if they are with us inside the cinemas.

Well Sonal I wouldn't argue with you, I naturally don't like taking bodyguards along with me and I like driving myself most of the time. I Only use drivers for emergencies. Alright Jasmine, we should head home now, it is pretty late said Sonal.

Yes we should, and to lighten the mood the block buster movies we watched were all great replied Jasmine.

Yes, Tang Ning and President Mo movies are exceptional. Stupid 1 and 2 and the last one we watched, what was it again? asked Sonal. Yes it is The Black Ant replied Jasmine.

Wow, their movies are great, I agree with you Sonal. We should do this again. And we should watch their other movies also.

Yes we should, I remember Tang Ning and President Mo produces great Sci Fi movies alot, I was just a little girl, about 6 years old when I heard of them. 

Back then I didn't really Know who they were all I could remember was hearing Sci Fi movies anytime their names were mentioned.

I used to think then that they were Indians with strange names, I was really embarrassed when I was overseas, when a Chinese couple described who they were to me.

I heard them talking about Tang Ning and President Mo, so I asked them who these famous people were.

They then explained to me that they are the father and mother of Sci Fi movies in China, they are Chinese celebrities and their 3 kids are famous aswell.

When I went back to my hostel, I researched more about Tang Ning and President Mo Ting, they are grand parents aswell.

By this time they were already sited in the car. Just as the driver started the car, Sonal instructed him to drop Jasmine at her family home first before they proceed to the Arora mansion.

Alright young miss, the driver replied as he drove the car in the direction of the Singh's mansion.

They continued their chit chat in the car that they did not realise that the car had pulled over at the Singh's mansion.

We are at the Singh's mansion young miss, the driver said. Jasmine thanked Sonal and the driver, came down from the car and went inside her family home.

After Jasmine exited the car, the driver then proceeded with the car heading to the Mehra mansion. 

Along the way, Jasmine slept off in the car. When the car stopped in front of Mehra mansion, the driver then said, young miss, we are at the Mehra mansion.

Jasmine was not in deep sleep. She opened her eyes and thanked the driver before exiting the car. She went straight to her room.

She was so exhausted that she did not freshen up, instead as she laid in her bed to rest for few minutes with the intention of freshening up later, she slept off and had a beautiful dream that after the soldier fought for her, they got married.

The driver outside parked the car in the garage and retired to his quarters. The driver too was not left out, he also had his share of dreams.

He dreamt he was a king and had his own castle and people who served him. Truth in reality is that he planned on being wealthy someday. He did not want to remain a driver all his life.

In Neddy's house, Neddy and Jake are on the bed laughing, while reading some manga.

"I didn't realize you were a fundashi", said Jake, with a book in front of her.

"Yeah, I've been reading Yaoi manga", said Neddy, then he shows Jake all the yaoi manga.

"You truly are my soulmate", said Jake, then hugs Neddy.

Neddy leads Jake to his closet, once he taps the top of the closet, the hangers on both sides move, opening a secret passageway.

In the secret passageway, there's purple wallpaper, couches, and on the side of the couches; there is a hallway full of bookcasez on the bookcases is yaoi manga.

"Whoa!" exclaimed Jake.

"Yup, this is my collection, school romance is on the left, first two bookcases, I also have fantasy,sci fi, sports, all kinds", said Neddy.

"Have any smut or one with Ampromorphic characters?" asked Jake.

"Smut is over on the right, fourth bookcase and six bookcases beyond the left", Neddy tell Jake.

"Any suggestions?" asked Jake.

Neddy takes Jake's hand, and they flick a red button, that shows a panel, together they put in two different codes, and two books land in both of their hands.

"Let's read them", smiled Jake.

"Good idea", said Neddy smiles at Jake.

Just as there is 'Soft Magic' in Fantasy that is portrayed through magibabble, there can be 'Soft Science' in a Sci-Fi stories through technobabble that makes 'some sense', but not entirely correct.

We are frickin' writers, not scientists. You don't have to be anatomically correct all the time, all you need to do is show that you know enough of your stuff to write a decent story. In fact, the excuse of it being an alternate world can be used if you're going to bend the limits of physics and say that fire doesn't need air to exist in this parallel dimension.

I see a lot of writers being put into a state of confusion due to not understanding the line between fantasy and Sci-Fi. They seem like they are trying to fit the Star Trek mould too often.

Science can just as well do the same things as plot devices in fantasy stories. Once you add 'realism' to a fantasy, it becomes progressively better sometimes compared to a completely fantasied story where 'logic' doesn't hold within it.

Those who write Sci-Fi usually envision a future they can imagine where magic-like Rocket Boots and other stuff exist. However, a writer must not get bogged down by small details and MUST think of an overarching story where these details matter.

It is the same with Fantasy. Even if you write about someone breaking the mould as a wizard or something, you have to attach your world to a narrative rather than doing it the other way 'round.

No one wants to hear about how awesome your boat propellers are before hearing your story's narrative. They would rather you cut down and make it relevant when it is actually relevant.

Adding some 'Hard Science' to your story is only when the scenes later on have any use for them. It bores a person to death no matter how extensive your technobabble is unless you make it interesting. Try using facts as plot elements.

For example: Even the simple fact that people cannot breath in space and instantly die when they come in contact with the 'void' of space could be used to add a layer of tension when a spaceship is damaged. Similar to how dangerous 'hard magic' is used in Epic Fantasy like Frodo's Ring in The Lord of the Rings has definitive corruption on others.

Unlike Fantasy that can use the Power of Friendship to bend logic, the readers of Sci-Fi never be expecting any 'realistic' plot elements to be bend just because the Author wants a happy ending. There are no 'Healing Potions' in real life that can be used to fix up injuries nor are people affected by prophesies or whatever.

This is the contrast between Sci-Fi and Fantasy that you can make full use of. As most authors go onto the Sci-Fi side of writing not because they strive to be scientists but since the aesthetics of a science fiction world are just so interesting.

Science Fiction is a good place to tackle heavy topics like the nature of life and the absurdity of those who see 'science' as everything. Those who disregard emotions and become cybernetic entities for the sake of casting off their mortality are portrayed as the bad guys while our totally human protagonist fighting them is a 'good guy'.

The lines between an Artificial Intelligence and regular Humans blurs as we become the 'God' of technological species that defy our definition of what is 'living'. Just as we see God as some sort of fourth-dimensional and incomprehensible being that created us as an imperfect image of 'Him', the robots given sentience would see us similarly.

Some robots might have emotions that can allow them to defy their programming, some robots won't go as far as gaining emotional functionality but will preform their roles better than even a human. It could show the reason why people get attached to the inanimate and soulless objects we put our own hearts into creating (like Big Hero 6).

But though exploring philosophical questions is good and all, never forget that a good 'plot' is needed to put forward and give clues into the writer's answer that context. Sci-Fi is, after all, a premise, not a relatable character in of itself.

Think of the science-fiction elements as just the background for your story, similar to how other genres should be that as well. You won't have to deal writing blocks if you keep to writing only what you know rather than just speculative theories.

Whether it's as dark as a Cyber Punk or optimistic of the future, just know what mould you are using for this premise. Are you writing an Adventure story with Sci-Fi as the places, destinations, and whatever tools the MC can get him hands on, or are you writing a comedy where the Sci-Fi elements don't need consistency but absurdity?

After moving past why you shouldn't add unneeded technobabble unless it's interesting to listen to or has plot significance, let me remind you all that robots and 'science' isn't entirely separated from the realm of magic. After all, there is a reason you don't see skimpy power suits being worn by astronauts these days. Just be sure to have a focus if your going to add very illogical things to the plot.

I like Gundam as much as the next guy but the whole reason the Mecha sub-genre of Anime has waned in recent years is because writers have been focusing too much on 'science' rather than the spectacle. I don't need to now what materials your Mecha is made of unless you point its weak points and make it relevant in a fight scene.

Bring up the strengths and weaknesses of something and THEN use those facts as devices that can move the plot. Conversely, if you go overboard with this advice and tell me nothing but how your giant robot looks and the 'science' behind its creation, even going as far as to tell me how many secret guns it has, then I'll be bored...

I'd love to see Cyborgs Vs Mecha but just don't forget the human element of Sci-Fi. How we create things not solely for the sake of creation but put are feelings into it just like the novels we write.

Humans are passionate that way...

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

Ilang sandali lang pagkatapos niyon, sa huli ang dalawa ay naupo na sa hapag kainan ng magkasama na tila kailanman ay walang nagbago sa pagitan nila.
Ngunit, ilang sandali pa, si Quan Ziye ay nakatanggap ng tawag mula kay Mother Quan. Hindi niya ito itinago mula kay Lin Qian. Sa halip, kinausap niya si Mother Quan sa harapan ni Lin Qian, "Oo, lumipat na ako. Para iyon sa kaluwagan ng aking trabaho."
"Ang iyong ama ay malapit nang mag 60. Kahit ano pa man, kailangan mong humanap ng oras upang pumunta para dito."

Ilang sandali pa, ang telepono ni Lin Qian naman ang nag umpisang tumunog. Parehong tao rin ang tumatawag dito. Ilang sandaling natigilan si Lin Qian bago nito sinagot ang tawag, "Mom…"
"Ang iyong ama ay malapit ng mag 60. Umuwi ka at bumisita," wika ni Mother Quan ng hindi malaman kung walang bahala o masaya ang tono bago nito ibinaba ang telepono ng hindi naghihintay ng tugon.
Itinabi ni Lin Qian ang telepono at nagpatuloy sa pagkain ng kanyang hapunan na tila ba walang nangyari. Ngunit, nagawa lamang nitong mas analisahin pa ni Quan Ziye ang kanyang ekspresyon.
"Galit ka?"
"Hindi makitid ang utak ko!" sagot ni Lin Qian. "Ikaw at ang iyong ina ay magkaibang tao, alam ko naman iyon."
"Kung ganon kumain ka pa ng marami. Lahat ng ito ay iyong paborito…"
Sa simula gusto ni Lin Qian na sabihin kay Quan Ziye na walang patutunguhan ang ginagawa nito dahil kailanman ay hindi sila magtatagal. Ngunit, si Quan Ziye ay masyadong masaya kung kaya hindi niya maatim na sabihin dito ang mga iyon.
Hindi naman dahil siya ay mapag aalala sa mga mangyayari at hindi pumapayag na ipaglaban ang kanyang kaligayahan. Ngunit, siya ay natatakot na si Quan Ziye ay maiiwang lubusang sugatan. Hindi niya gstong masaktan ang taong pinaka importante para sa kanya.
...
Pagkatapos ng tanghalian, si Mo Ting at Tangning sa wakas ay nakarating sa isang pribadong isla kung saan nakatira si Qiao Sen at kaagad na ipialiwanag sa pamilya nito kung bakit sila naroon.
Ngunit, direkta silang tinanggihan ng anak na babae ni Qiao Sen at nakiusap na umalis na sila. "Hindi naging madali sa aking ama na pakawalan ang kanyang obsesyon at gumaling sa kanyang sakit. Ito ay isang bagay na pinipilit niya sa loob ng ilang dekada, gaano ba kahirap na isuko ito ngayon?"
"Kung hindi ninyo hahayaang subukan niya iyon, maaari ngang pansamantalang magkunwari siyang masaya upang masiyahan kayo. Ngunit, sa katagalan nito, sa huli ay mapagtatanto niya na hindi niya maaaring pakawalan ang kanyang pag asa at pangarap."
"Umaasa ako na pag iisipan ninyo ito ng mabuti. Ako ay mananatili sa isang hotel na 10 km ang layo mula sa isla. Maghihintay ako para sa inyong katugunan."
Tinanggap ng babae ang business card ni Tangning, ngunit kaagad din itong itinapon sa basurahan.
"Hindi ako nagtitiwala sa mga tao mula sa entertainment industry."
"Pakiusap umalis na kayo at kailanman ay huwag ng bumalik."
Dinadala ng hanging ang coat ni Tangning, dahilan upang manginig ito. Ngunit, ang lahat ay inaasahan na ni Tangning.
Hinila ni Mo Ting si Tangning sa kanyang mga yakap at hinalikan ito sa noo, "Halika na. maghihintay na lamang tayo sa hotel. Napakalamig dito."
"Ok lang. Gusto kong tumayo rito ng ilang sandali," wika ni Tangning. "Yamang ako ay nandito na, hindi ako maaaring umuwi ng walang dala. Nakikiramay ako sa pamilya ni Director Qiao, kaya alam ko na kailangan kong ipakita sa kanila ang aking katayuan."
Hindi an nagsalita pa siMo Ting habang pinaandar ang kanyang sasakyan upang gawing panangga ito sa hangin para kay Tangning.
Nang mga sandaling iyon, si Mo Ting ang pinakamatatag na bahagi ng ng kanyang taga suporta.
Tulad nito, sa huli ang mag asawa ay tumayo sa dalampasigan hanggang takipsilim. Mula sa hitsura nito, ang kabilang panig ay hindi pa rin nagbabago ng kanilang isip.
"Pumasok ka na sa sasakyan, kung hindi, baka ka magkasipon."
Pagkaraang tumayo sa hanging dagat sa loob ng ilang oras, alam ni Tangning na lampas na ito sa limitasyon ni Mo Ting. Alam din niya na hindi niya maaaring tratuhin ang kanyang katawan ng ganito na lamang. Ngunit, sa mga oras na ito, ang gate na bakal ng may ari ay bumukas at ang anak na babae ni Qiao Sen ay nag aatubiling nagsalita sa mag asawa, "Nais kayong anyayahan ng aking ama na pumasok."
Humarap si Tangning at tumingin kay Mo Ting bago ito sumunod kay Miss Qiao sa loob ng villa.
Nang mga sandaling iyon, si Qiao Sen ay abala sa pangingisda. Mas magandang mamgisda sa gabi dahil ang pangkat ng isada ay pumupunta sa ibabaw upang kumain sa mga oras na ito.
"Director Qiao," pagbati ni Tangning ng magalang.
"Kaya pala ito ang kilalang CEO ng Hai Rui, si Mo Ting ang naparito upang makausap ako," ngumiti si Qiao Sen kay Mo Ting habang patuloy ito sa pamimingwit. Halata naman, na hindi niya kilala si Tangning. "Paanong nangyari na ang Hai Rui ay nagpapakita ng interes sa isang matandang lalake na tulad ko?"
"Hindi kami naparito dahil sa Hai Rui. Ito ang aking asawa," pagpapakilala ni Mo Ting.
Sinulyapan ni Qiao Sen si Tangning; isang mabilis na sulyap lamang, "President Mo, huwag mong sabihin sa akin na ang iyong asawa ang gusto na ako ay gumawa ng isang pagbabalik, siya nga ba?"
"Alam kong pangarap mong makagawa ng isang blockbuster sci-fi film; isang sci-fi film na hindi malilimutan ng lahat.
"Kasama ka?" tumingin si Qiao Sen kay Tangning ng may pagdududa. "Gusto mong mamuhunan sa aking pelikula?"
"Gusto kong lumahok sa produksyong ito," direktang sagot ni Tangning.
"Masyadong mataas ang tingin mo sa iyong sarili…"
"Alam ko na sa mga mata ni Director Qiao, isa lamang akong taong may pera ngunit walang magawa. Ngunit, umaaasa ako na maaari kang umupo at panoorin ang mga pelikulang ginawa ko. Kung patuloy mo akong kakausapin sa ganitong paraan, sa palagay ko rin ay hindi tayo maaaring magtrabaho ng magkasama. Ang aking asawa at ako ay maghihintay sa iyong kasagutan sa hotel." Pagkatapos magsalita, isinulat ni Tangning ang mga pelikulang ginawa niya at inilagay iyon sa tabi ng paanan ni Director Qiao.
"Ting…halika na."
Si Mo Ting ay lubhang hindi nasisiyahan sa tono ng matandang lalake, ngunit hindi siya nag paapekto. Dinala na lamang niya diretso si Tangning sa hotel. Tiniis na ng kanyang asawa ang malupit na lamig ng hangin ng ilang oras, hindi niya gustong magkaroon ito ng sipon.
Samantala, ang matandang lalake ay hindi gumalaw.
Sa totoo lang, si Director Qiao ay walang intensyon na pulutin ang papel na iniwan ni Tangning. Ngunit, sa huli pinulot ito ng kanyang anak na babae at pausisa itong gumawa ng paghahanap online.
Ang unang pelikulang pinanood niya ay ang 'W.H.' dahil gusto niya ang disaster movies.
Sa simula ang kanyang intensyon ay ang hamakin si Tangning dahil tila ito ay isang magandang mukha lamang.
Ngunit, pagkaraan na manood ng ilang minuto, natagpuan nitong imposible ng huminto sa panonood…
Ilang sandali pa, ang matandang lalake ay pumasok na sa sala hawak ang isadang nahuli niya. Nang makita ang kanyang anak na babae na nanonood ng isang pelikula, hindi nito mapigilan na magnakaw ng tingin.
"Anong pelikula ito?"
"Ito ang pelikula na pinangungunahan ni Tangning, ang babae na nagbigay sa iyo ng business card ngayong hapon. Ang pelikula ay may pamagat na 'W.H.'. ang kanyang pag arte ay hindi masama."
Pagkaraan ibaba ang kanyang pang bingwit, ang matandang lalake ay naupo sa sofa katabi ng kanyang anak na babae. Tulad niyon, sa huli nanood siya ng pelikula sa loob ng dalawang oras.
"Napakahirap na maghanap sa China na maaaring umarte ng kasing galing niya ngayong mga panahong ito. Ano sa palagay mo,dad? Buntong hininga ng anak na babae ni Qiao Sen habang pinapanood niya ang pagkunot ng noo ng kanyang ama sa pagkabigo.
Nararamdaman niya na ang pagtitiyaga ni Tangning sa pag arte ay nasa parehong antas ng kanyang pagtitiyaga sa paggawa ng pelikula.
Kaya nakaramdam siya ng pag sisisi sa paraan ng pagmamaliit niya kay Tangning.
"Siya ay may ibang pelikula pa. gusto mo bang panoorin ang mga iyon?"
"Buksan mo na!" kaagad na utos ng matandang lalake. Si Tangning ay biglang nagsindi ng isang siklab sa kanyang kaluluwa.
Kung talagang may totoong tao na kasing tiyaga niya na makagawa ng isang blockbuster sci-fi film at lubos na tapat sa iniisip niya, kung ganon…may pananampalataya siya na ang China ay maaaring makagawa ng isang magandang pelikula ng walang anumang tulong galing sa hollywood.
Si Tangning ba ay nakahandang maging ganito ka tapat sa iniisip na tao?
Kung siya nga, kung ganon ang kanyang pangalan ay tiyak na makikilala sa kasaysayan ng pelikula.
Syempre, siya ay mayroong tiwala sa kanyang sariling pelikula.
Ngunit, ano ang mangyayari king hindi maganda ang kalalabasan nito? Alam niyang hindi lamang siya, ngunit si Tangning din sa huli ay magiging isang malaking katatawanan.
Kaya, pakiramdam niya na ang babae ito ay lubhang napakatapang!


Noong gabi bago ang nakatakdang araw ng kanilang kasal, tumakbo ang kanyang mapapangasawa kasama ng kanyang kabit.
Dahil sa kabiguan, hinila niya ang lalaki na nakatayo sa harap ng Civil Affairs Office, “President Mo, ang iyong mapapangasawang babae ay hindi pa dumarating at ang mapapangasawa kong lalaki naman at tumakbo na … maaari ko bang imungkahi na tayong dalawa na lamang ang magpakasal?”
Bago magpakasal, sinabi ni Tangning, “Kahit na magsama tayo sa iisang kama, walang mangyayari sa pagitan nating dalawa!”
Pagkatapos magpakasal, sinabi ni Mo Ting, “Kapag hindi natin sinubukan, paano natin malalaman?”
