Blue lightning began to crawl over Echo's body as he reconnected the link with trip, His eyes flashes with blue light filled with energy as Trip wrapped around him like a cloak made of electricity.

as soon as they made their link the reindeer once again glows brightly in red and blows a breath of fire towards the two.

Seeing the attack Echo and Trip immidiately dodge and manage to easily escape the range of the fire breath with their new found speed. 

"woah! your breath stinks." while mocking the enemy Echo prepares to counter attack however, the knife that he had melted when the reindeer breathe fire, and the pot lid shield are now broken due to the impact of crushing the reindeer's antlers.

"kyaah! kyah!" Trip began to try and lift a the pole on Echo's back asking him to use it as a weapon. "ain't this thing the one that absorbs Mana that is being poured to it right? You sure about this?" Echo confusedly ask.

However the answer that he's waiting for is the opposite from what he expect, as Trip can be seen charging the staff with his energy.

Not caring about the rationale on using a Mana absorbing staff as a weapon by charging it with Mana, Echo decided to trust Trip as it still is better than fighting with no weapons at hand.

Echo now holding the staff filled with energy began his counter attack, but Echo failed to produce the amount of power he is expecting.

as if mocking him the reindeer began to chant another skill. <red light bright star> A tiny pure red fire ball began to form in his index finger as he chant the skill and pointing it towards Echo.

Panic arose towards Echo as he really need to interrupt the casting or he will die here, unfortunately Echo can't fight properly using the staff. "damnit! I don't want to do this but this leave me no choice; Trip, Algiea, and whoever you are I'm sorry."

left with no choice Echo began to broke the staff into two and use it as a pair of Kali stick.
All the energy absorbed by the staff immediately flows out and began to dry out quickly however something unimaginable seems to happen, the energy flowing out became vines wrapping around Echo's arm and transforming into a new weapon.

Seeing the massive changes in the staff Echo once again continued his attack, however this time he didn't go directly because the charge on the skill the reindeer is chanting is already melting hot and the temperature is still going up.

"let's try and see how your gimmicks work." Echo excitedly goes into the stance he always uses when he is playing the taiko drum arcade games.

as he focus himself Echo is now hearing a drum beat in his head, instead of being startled Echo now seems to be in a trance.

Raising his left arm he smashes the imaginary drum in front of him then followed by right, slowly following the rhythm and becoming more powerful as the time gets.

While chanting Rudolph is observing the young boy as he regretted underestimating him, filled with anger and resentment for his broken antlers, he now finishes the chant for the skill <red light bright star> and ready to fire.

just as he was about to fire he saw the young boy went into a weird stance, and began to hit the air slowly getting into some sort of a rhythm, getting faster and faster as the energy flowing slowly forms a circle.

BOOOOM!!

A lightning crushes down towards Rudolph making him release the charged skill a bit far away from his target.  "cursed you damn child!!!" 

A lightning struck after another as Echo hit the imaginary drum in front of him, making the reindeer fried on electricity. 

upon opening his eyes Echo was dumbfounded by the damage he make, an black corpse of a reindeer is on the floor lying lifelessly, full of scorch marks due to the continuous lightning strike.

Now that the reindeer was dead Taiko and Trip now managed to relax as they found a seat on a tree stump.

Trip looks at Taiko with a smile on his face as he made a gesture of planting the former staff of Algiea in the center of the platform.

but as soon as they reach the center Trip's Image began to flicker "hey! are you alright??" panic once again arose as he saw that his friend's body kept on flickering.

"No, this is just one of your jokes right? please tell me it is." Tears began to Taiko's face as he began to remember the moment he met him, the first snowball he first throw at him, even though it's just a couple of day feels like an eternity to him and he can't afford to let go of his new found friend.

 "kyaa^^" Trip Pat Echo's head and tried to comforted him, however instead of having an emotionless look the boy began to cry loudly.

Echo now a bystander again began to tear up as he watch the emotionless young boy helplessly cry in front of a flickering spirit.

He now finished his quest and is currently watching a cinematic, trying to get a glimpse of what will be the next step or quest he will receive.

Before Trip Flickers away he drag the young boy taiko towards the center and once again gestured to stab the ground powerfully  to plant the staff of Algiea.

Unhesitatingly Taiko didn't betray his friends final request as he shout with all his might and put all the energy left on planting the staff to the ground.

the other half of the staff began to grow and reunited with the one stab on the ground as Trip uses his remaining energy towards the staff.

"Yaaaaaaaahhhhjj!!!!!!"

Blue and green energy exploded as Trip finally pour the last ounce of his mana, the surrounding plants began to grow an the whole town seems to gain another life.

fruits and flowers began to bloom filling the land with colors, the surrounding greens became more vibrant and up above the dark skies the sun finally shines melting the snowcaps that covers the enitire land.

inside the Tree of Algiea a young boy whose currently crying can be seen. Inside the boys head a cute voice of a child can be heard "Thanks brother! and don't worry I'll will always be here by your side" as soon as he heard this Taiko finally managed to form a smile.

Hello, my name is Jack. I've been exploring the things I can do with my now magical staff, and one of them seems to be a mental logging mode that'll put down what I'm thinking as a journal entry. 

I'm not sure where this will be posted, but it seems like I can post it and people can respond back to me? Not sure, this is all projected in my mind, so it's not easy to explain.

Anyway I'll try my best to summarize what happened.

I love hiking, especially in the woods and I've always thought it'd be cool to have a hiking stick in the theme of a magical staff.

After getting the wood work done, I burned some runic symbols in the side to give it some flair. 

Moon
Forest
Faerie
Reveal

Those were the words, in that order. Well after I stained the wooden staff and let it dry for the weekend, I immediately grabbed it after Monday's work. Heading to the nearby woods to try it out, and oh what could go wrong?

Welp, turns out IT'S ACTUALLY MAGIC NOW.

Yep. Somehow, I actually made an actual magic staff without meaning to, and with no idea how to use it.


Right now I seem to be somewhere else entirely from the forest I was in. I mean, the local park nearby looks the same, but it's subtly different. For example, the library and the 'pay to enter' indoors center switched places. Still right across from each other, but in reverse spots.

Something else different is that when I went back home, nobody was there. The door was just left unlocked, and the entire house was vacant, even the dogs were gone.

It was as if everyone left suddenly, and didn't plan on coming back. 

I'm going to go off topic for a moment to explain what I've figured out about my staff. Each runic word can do certain things, and when each individual word is used, the rune glows a dim blue.

I haven't figured out everything yet, but this is what I've figured out each can do so far.



Moon: Tells me the time of day, the weather, and how long till the sun rises or sets.

Forest: ???

Faerie: ???

Reveal: Tells me if there is anyone nearby, can create mental journal logs and post them here (Wherever 'here' is), and confirms if things aren't what they are supposed to be.


I don't need to always immediately activate each word myself, but I do need to have the willingness to do so. 

It also seems like only one word can be used at a time, and once a word has been used, I can use it again without using a different word.

Well after using REVEAL to see if they were at the park. Nope, in fact the entire park as well as both the library and indoors center were both completely empty. Like that's not totally weird.

After taking a much needed nap, I tested out what I could do with the staff and found out what the MOON word does.

Anyway that's pretty much it so far. The electricity and water still works, my uncle likes to stockpile food so I'm good there.

Just for safety reasons I keep the staff with me at all times. Is it weird that the wood feels warm to the touch sometimes? I'm not sure if it's just my imagination from my panic, or if that's a common thing among magical objects.



Any advice would be much appreciated.

Jack finishes making his hiking stick, modeling it with the theme of a magical staff, even to go as far as to burn runic symbols on the side of it.

Once finished, he went on a hike in the woods, only to find the deeper he went, the less familiar everything seemed. 

By the time he turned around, Jack was already somewhere else. Another world in fact, one of many he'd travel.

The whole building is capable of lighting up itself without the use of outside electricity. Because Bro. Eriya does not want for the school to have an additional utility payments, that is why everything in the building is being run by a super solar panel cells that can last up to one week, meaning it can stock up power or electricity for one week. Let us say that the sun would no longer give its light any longer, the whole building will still have power for seven straight days with full capacity, all lights and equipment with one hundred percent full power usage. If the power used will be limited, it can last up to a month. 

But the most exciting thing to those students who have registered to become a participant of the BAC competition is the super advanced and powerful smartphone ever made in the whole world, and it is called the Omega A+. It has an unlimited storage system for pictures, videos, music, files, and application to be used by the owner or user. Its system is thirty years much more advance that the current phones. It is always online or it does not go offline, it records everything about the owners location as a security feature for the user, and the things he or she might have done using  the gadget and its other application, it does not need to be recharged, because it does not run out of power. It does not need a subscription plan for communication, its sim card is already built in with the phone, and it is integrated with the most sophisticated messenger app ever invented, the "ChatterSauce". Every telecommunications company will run this application for free for the BAC competitors and staff. 

 The Omega A+ smartphone has all the versions of the Book ever published by linguist or translators, it is also complete with the photographs of all of the original text like Septuagint, and the Codexes. Complete with the history of all the religious organization in the world including all the cults and sects. It can also translate the most ancient and modern  language into the owners native language, so he/she can understand whoever is speaking with him/her, or what he/she wants to read.

The Omega A+ is also capable of projecting crisp 3D holographic image of the person you are talking to on the other side of the line, plus it can project videos, pictures or any content of the smartphone showing on the screen. Seisho was telling Rosy while he is inspecting the phone, this is really an amazing piece of equipment, so powerful and you can use it on any kind of field of expertise. And unknowingly they've already arrive at the gate of the BAC Center because of their conversation and almost passing through another block. Oww we're here, Rosy said. A very exciting YES was Seisho's reply.

As they entered the center, A hologram that looks like Bro. Eriya is welcoming every one that passes the automatic sliding doors, and they were able to see also different holograms from each section of the center that were giving information to the people regarding the content of that section or the things inside it. 

Since Seisho only came their the second time around he doesn't know were to head off to get his BAC smartphone. The first time was when he turned in his application when he was already very sure to enter the tournament. He instinctively just went towards to the location of the main concierge and ask where he can acquire his BAC smartphone. The concierge staff looks like the main NPC of a role playing strategy game, since they are the one who can be ask anything about the center. Then Rosy said to him, Sei, I know where to go! She personally gave that nickname to Seisho since the very first time they've met. Seisho said, Ow yeah I forgot, I was really so excited, can't wait to hold my very own Omega smartphone. With a very big smile on his face. Still the NPC, oh I mean the concierge pointed and told them the location. They are already walking away but gave thanks to what they heard from the concierge staff.

On the way to were the staff pointed them, some familiars faces were coming straight  at them. It's Sunny, Summer, Windy, and Flaul. Their classmates in elementary. Greeting them saying hey RoSei nice to see you both again! We took our smartphones, are your here to get yours also? That was Sunny speaking, his voice has already change because of the stage they all are experiencing right now. The adolescent stage. Rosy and Sei greeted them back and gave a nod on their friends question. What schools are you attending? Seiho asked, Windy reply back saying that's a big secret hihihi. Flaul also said, guys, let's meet up in the tournament. Hope to see fellow classmates in the stage of BAC. The group have said their goodbyes and went on walking towards the automatic sliding door. Rosy and Sei said goodbye also and went on straight forward to get Sei's smartphone.

 Now they are in front of the Tech Section staff. Seisho showed his ID number that they gave when he turned in his application. The tech guy said, ok wait for me here in a couple of minutes. While they are waiting, Rosy received a video text message and let's Sei to also read it, saying if she will be joining the BAC Solo Competition. Every student participant with the Omega A+ smartphone are being texted or called for the confirmation if they will join or not in that solo competition. Rosy upon reading the video text has that cute smile again showing her dimples and saying, Sei, let's join and help each other get points so we can get the benefits of a Book Master. 

The tech guy returned to the station and his hand is Sei's Omega smartphone, a BAC backpack that is super light, durably strong, it is also waterproof and reversible to use the other side with a different color. He also receive a black shades in order to perfectly see clearly the holograms that the phone can project to anywhere. The tech guy opened the box of the smartphone and turned it on, he then said, i will put the phone in front of your face for the face recognition to set up. Afterwards the tech guy said now let's setup the fingerprint security features, and lastly entering his passcode. Then all of his information was stored in the Omega A+ smartphone and in all the main servers of BAC. He was also given his phone number and while he is putting all of the peripherals of his BAC tourney kit. He received the same video text message and now said let's say yes and join and help each other in the solo competition. They both confirmed on joining, pressing yes to the prompt at the same time. Though in Sei's mind even though Rosy did not ask her, he already has decided long time ago to enter in that solo event. They've said goodbye to the tech guy and went out of the center now walking towards the way of their houses, and all through the while they are walking, Sei has this really big smile on his face that had never went out all throughout their walk home.

"What? A battalion of private troops has wiped out a group of troops from the Qing Special Forces?!" a general exclaimed in a command center. "You aren't joking, right? Has it been confirmed yet?"
The staff officer in front of the general said, "It's absolutely true. It just happened yesterday. We had our people rush to the scene to confirm it after getting the news from a soldier called Chen Wudi they sent back to give a sitrep. The soldiers they killed should be from the Qing Special Forces. It's just that we do not know why this group of Qing troops would enter our military's hinterlands or how they got in."
"How could you allow our enemies to infiltrate so easily? You might as well wait until they arrive at our HQ's doorstep before you realize they're here!" the general roared.
The staff officer hemmed and hawed before saying, "We suspect they were sent here to carry out a decapitation strike, so they deliberately traveled in the mountains. They did not bring a full-strength force with them because they wanted to travel quickly and quietly to avoid detection."
"How did all of them get wiped out then?" the general asked in a composed voice after calming down.
"We have written statements from the private troops who mentioned they were from the Iron Second Battalion. They said they were able to wipe out their enemies this time because their battalion commander is wise and courageous. He took advantage of the Divine Arms Battalion's uniforms they were wearing to fool the Qing Consortium soldiers into believing him and then immediately launched an assault after forcing them to disarm," the staff officer said.
"Why does this account sound so weird?" the general wondered. He felt that something was amiss, but he did not know where the problem lay.
"I also find it quite weird. However, it does make sense that the Qing soldiers were aware they wouldn't be able to defeat the Divine Arms Battalion." The staff officer said, "How should we handle this matter?"
"How many people from this battalion of private troops died in the battle?" the general asked.
"400. It's equivalent to the number of deaths our enemies suffered," the staff officer said.
The general said with heartfelt emotion, "A battalion of private troops was actually able to wipe out the Qing Special Forces and their casualties did not even exceed our expectations? This is a great triumph! This is exactly the triumph we need now!"
The staff officer immediately understood what the general meant. Everyone had been very optimistic about the Divine Arms Battalion's mission and hoped they would lead them to their first victory in the war. It would have boosted the morale of the military.
However, the higher the expectations, the greater the disappointment. The Li Consortium's higher-ups and generals were crestfallen at the defeat of the Divine Arms Battalion. In the combat meetings held over the past two days, everyone in the command center seemed overwhelmed by a sense of defeat. The combat staff officers did not even dare to cough openly in fear of getting reprimanded.
But now it was great news that they heard a battalion of private troops had wiped out the troops of their enemy's Special Forces.
At their level, they did not actually care about how many soldiers died in the battle. All they were concerned about was how this result would affect the overall situation!
The general said, "Report this to the Board immediately, and request for the battalion of private troops involved to be commended. I want to rename the Iron Second Battalion to the Heroes Battalion. The active battalion commander will be officially appointed as a major as part of the Li Consortium's combat troops. On top of that, I want them to be equipped with the best gear we have."
The staff officer was stunned for a moment. This was going to set a precedent for their entire military organization!
Even though there were military ranks in the private army, their soldiers were never officially appointed any rank. Therefore, the officers of the private army were just like regular employees, and they could even pay bribes to get appointed to certain positions in the organization. However, the Li Consortium had never considered the private soldiers as their people before.
But with an official appointment now, everything was going to be different. Someday Ren Xiaosu might even get transferred to the Li Consortium's regular troops and hold an important position!
As for reporting to the Board, that was only standard protocol. At a time like this, the Board would not interfere with decisions regarding the appointment or removal of an officer. As long as the move was beneficial to the war, they would not stop it from happening.
But suddenly the general said, "After these private troops have been equipped with their gear, deploy them to our most impregnable defensive line. I've received intel that the overall commander of the Qing Consortium military has changed to Qing Zhen."
"What's that supposed to mean?" the staff officer asked after a slight hesitation.
"Qing Zhen is an extremely prideful man. It would be really embarrassing if word of his Special Forces getting wiped out by our private troops got out. How could a proud person like him possibly tolerate a failure like that?" The general tapped his fingers on the table and sneered, "Send these private troops to our most impregnable defensive line to let Qing Zhen fight them. Let's wear out his military forces!"
The staff officer finally understood that the general was planning on using these private troops to lure Qing Zhen into a battle at their most robust position on the battlefield.
The battlefield was a large chessboard, and the players involved could not show any emotion. So what if they were the Heroes Battalion? They were still just chess pieces. The sacrifice of the Heroes Battalion would make them martyrs for others.
When the staff officer left, he suddenly thought of a saying: "The merciful cannot control the military; the fair cannot manage wealth." The ancients had always been right in such regards.
Full of pent-up anger towards Ren Xiaosu, Tang Wanyi of the Personnel Division had just returned to the command center. When he came back, he was ready to write up some dirt about Ren Xiaosu so that he could deal him a fatal blow at a critical point in the future. Heh, how could he expect to survive in the military after offending someone in the Personnel Division? How nonsensical!
But at this moment, someone lifted the Personnel Division's tent flap. A combat staff officer came in with a document tucked under his arm and said, "Who's in the Personnel Division?"
Tang Wanyi immediately put on a placating smile and said, "Over here!"
Everyone used to say that other than the chief of staff, normal staff officers held no real authority. But in wartime, these staff officers had the most presence around the generals. So when concerning these floors..... most cruise sh.i.p.s would have a minimum of 260 wide rooms within the residential floor.

Nonetheless, the rooms were set up like hotels..... with their own bedrooms, toilets, closet spaces, and even a cozy sitting area.


 
Of course, the higher one ascended.... the more spacious and luxurious the rooms would be.

Anyway.... each staff residential room had 2 bunk beds, hosting a total of 4 people within a single residence.

Of course, Landon had designed the rooms in a way that wouldn't make the staff feel cramped up.....  as everyone had ample breathing space around them.

To sum it up, this floor would host 720 staff members overall. (180*4)

.

If anyone was thinking that this number was too much, then they really didn't know much about cruise management.

Most cruisers got at least 2,500 staff members for the smooth running of the ship.

.

From the security guards, to the ship engineers, mechanics, floor cleaner and room cleaners, kitchens, casinos, restaurant, spa and all other aspects within the ship.... one could even argue that the number was too little instead.

.

One shouldn't forget that the staff had to be alert to attend to any customer needs... no matter what time it was.

Hence they needed ample staff around the clock at all times.

.

▪For Economy Class:

It covered floors 4, 5 and 6 within the ship.

These ones also had 180 rooms as well... but were more luxurious than the staff ones.

So rather than having bunk beds like the staff members, these ones would have regular hotel beds.


 
And those who booked earlier.... could choose what sort of room they wanted.

.

Also, depending on how large their families were...  their rooms could either have 2 beds or just 1 within them.

Of course for economy class.... their rooms would only have single, twin, full or double sized beds.

.

Bottom line, just like how airlines did it...  if one booked early and requested for a particular type, then it would be reserved.

But if one booked late, and the type of room he or she needed were all reserved.... then they would have to settle for another option instead.

 .

Of course, so as to give more options for those with extremly large families....  Landon had made a rule that no one traveling in their own could book a room that had more than one bed within it.

For now, this rule would stay... but in the future..... for sure, it would be dropped.

▪Looking at Business Class Residences, one would find them in the 7th and 8th floors.

Rather than having 180 residences/rooms, these floors had 100 instead.


 
 And right off the bat, one could immediately spot several major differences from those in economy class.

The most obvious one, was that every residence was far larger than those within economy class.... and had several rooms within it as well.

.

The seating area was now in a separate room.... and even had a dining table within it.

And there was also a walk in closet, as well as separate rooms for those who needed 2 beds within 1 business class residence.

.

Also, these residences now had balconies..... that either overlooked the ocean, as well as the surrounding deck below.

Of course, the beds within these rooms were all Queen sized as well.

.

▪For First class guests, they only occupied HALF of the 9th floor..... with only 25 suites in total, 10 on the left, 10 on the right, and 5 at the side.

In short, one could almost fit in 2 business class residences into each First classroom.

Here, each room had its own private butler, or attendant... who would be on their back and call throughout their trip.

.

The high ceiling Suites were extremely massive.... and had been designed just like a 2-storrey house without a kitchen.

The suites had balconies the size of outdoor patios, astairway which led to the bedrooms above, another room which acted as a second bedroom, a Jacuzzi, and a wine and beverage spot with a complementary Deluxe Beverage Package consisting of 2 Champagne bottles, and 2 other beverages.

.

It also had an even larger walk-in-closet, an entire living room area, a massive sized bathroom, a private office, and V.I.P access to everything on the ship.

This included unlimited spa treatments, which could be performed right in their suites..... rather than going to the Spa on the 2nd floor.

.

Long story short, they would always get the best of everything..... like: priority boarding, priority departures, and specialty dining where they could be intimate with the gourmet chef and have their meals cooked right before their eyes.

Also, they would have access to V.I.P sections within the gyms, front row seats to all shows, and so on.

.

▪As for the other half of the 9th floor..... this region was the residential areas of the Ship Captains, the doctors on board, as well as those War soldiers below deck.

The floor had a wall at its center, which blocked those from either sides from seeing each other.

.

As Landon didn't want the first class V.I.Ps to see them.

Also, he had made a private elevator from the deck level... which would lead them to the captains, doctors and soldiers straight to their residential sections at once.

.

As for how their rooms looked like, within the sleeping chambers of each V.I.P residence there..... Landon had essentially placed several bunk beds there, as if they were in the army.

.

Again, on this floor, at a well hidden region....  one would find the Captain's Control and navigation Center here.

One had to know that the soldiers below deck only had to ensure the safety of the ship.


 
But when it concerned those actual stirring it.... those would have to be the Captains.

The control center had an upper floor and lower floor within it.... as well as high ceilings and glass windows, since it was within the First class floor.

.

▪Up next was the last floor..... which was essentially an open deck region above the 9th floor.

There....  one would find a swimming pool, several lounges, an outdoor bar, another garden, and even 3 outdoor snack restaurants there.

.

Of course to use the pool, one had to buy any of the fully covered up swimwears before they hopped into the water.

No swimming with stockings, boots and so on.

As for those who couldn't swim, they could sign out arm floats free of charge as well.

And just to be sure that they were alright, had decided not to make the pool too deep.

.

With these many features in the cruisers, Landon was hoping that everyone would have fun during their trips.
