Fumio had read many fanfics and still couldn't found it hard to believe he was in the same situation.
'Ugh... I can't sleep. How can they cry for so long without getting tired...' This was obviously Fumio's thoughts since his cradle neighbors only thought about trivial things. At least, that's what he assumed.
The orphanage's unskilled and under-paid caretakers were surprised by how much time Fumio would spend sleeping, and how little he would cry. Only doing so to inform them that he needed a change of diaper, etc.
His behavior as an infant already qualified him to be registered into the Orphan-Recruitment Program by the orphanage's supervisor, enacted to raise Iwagakure's numbers of talented Academy students.
Obviously, Fumio wasn't aware of this, and all he thought about was quickly growing up so he could start his chakra training, while also feeling slightly nervous about learning things all by himself.

{7 Months Later...}
Fumio was finally able to walk at the age of 8 months. The orphanage caretakers were impressed since most newborns needed at least 11 months to start walking.
This was also when his chakra reserves became large enough for him to be able to finally sense it. He never felt chakra inside him for 18 years, because his past-world simply didn't have chakra, so he was very sensitive to chakra.
Additionally, he had sensed something else inside him, a couple of months after being able to sense his chakra, which he soon realized to be the connection he had with the violet book that gave him a wish.
However, he wasn't able to find a way to bring that book out, only learning how to make a glowing, violet rune-like marking appear on his right wrist.

{2 Years and 6 Months Later...}
Fumio hasn't made any friends in the orphanage, spending most of his time listening to books that one of the well-paid female caretakers would read out to him, before he would later start reading books by himself.
From the books he would read, Fumio learned that he was inside an orphanage located in the Earth Country's Capital. Which was also in the same country as the Hidden Rock Village.
With this information, Fumio made it his goal to make it into the Hidden Rock Village so he could use the resources in its Academy to get stronger.
He also learned that he was born a year after the end of the Third Great Shinobi War.
Let's talk about Fumio's progress and, well, the lack thereof. Despite his phenomenal chakra-sensing ability, he struggled greatly with chakra control, thinking he had tried everything to get that annoying leaf stuck on him.
Out of frustration, Fumio chose to put chakra control training on hold and instead focus on gathering more information.

Fumio had more chakra in his reserves now and felt more confident as he finally resumed chakra control training.
Another reason behind his resumption was that he started worrying about his slow progress, especially when comparing himself to other child prodigies in the Naruto world.
Instead of playing ninja with the other orphans, Fumio asserted his dominance by teaching them how to play soccer, using a good-sized ball that he was very surprised and lucky to find.
The space in the government-funded orphanage's courtyard was more than big enough to allow them to play without any limitations and all of the younger and older kids seemed to enjoy the sport more than the same old ninja game they'd been playing for years.
All of them had terrible footwork and would often accidentally kick the ball or trip on it, allowing Fumio to finally win in a sport for the first time in his cumulative life.
He had seen many of the kids in the orphanage finding families and wondered why he hadn't been picked yet, before deciding not to think too much about superficial things like that.

"WHAT!?" John couldn't believe his ears.

Jamie burst into laughter. "Sorry, wanted to see your reaction to that!" The Head clutched his ribs, as he choked his words out in between his laughs. "It was the best way to confirm whether you're a Sider or not, kiddo. If you didn't have that much of a reaction, you would have been lying. I'm not a Sider, but my name and age are real though."

John became a bit sceptical at this point. He watched Jamie calm down and continue with his explanation.

"Let me start from the beginning." The Head took a deep breath before settling into his throne. "The first Sider in the immortals' sect became the Sect Head more than 300,000 years ago and relocated the sect to this planet. This was long before the Sider who gave technology to the mortals. He renamed the sect 'Rogue' because of some kind of 'sport' he was a fan of back in his home world. To this day, we don't really know what he was talking about, but his decision has been held in place."

"Sport… Wait, a game? A video game?" John blurted out, knowing in the back of his head that he was mostly talking to himself at this point. "It must be Ass***in's Cr**d Rogue... "

"Ah, it must be a popular sport known throughout the ages in your world." Jamie nodded sagely, not so much surprised as he was pleased.

John bit back a chuckle.

"If it's named Rogue, does that mean you guys are assassins then?" It was mostly a joke, but John couldn't help but ask. In all seriousness, he wondered if killing an immortal would add to the Life Pool. Killing a mortal creature didn't seem to work, so maybe this was the alternative.

Jamie smiled. "We are."

John would have fallen out of his chair if he'd been sitting.

"Really?!"

"Underground, there is a mission hub and special portals that transfer you to different planets. Most of these planets have immortals too and can communicate with other worlds as we can. Some planets have immortals but don't have access to different worlds for one reason or another. There are even some planets with no immortals, yet they can communicate with us.

"There are trillions of planets out there, and one way or another, we have access to most of them. Most will take months or possibly even years of travelling, but the connection still does exist. When we receive a mission, we send in people to investigate, and we determine the rank of the mission depending on numerous things. We rank them one to ten, with ten being the highest. We don't let anyone go on a mission without being at least beginning Life stage, and even then only Rank One missions. Oh, and we only kill those who deserve it. That's another reason why we investigate first. The first Rogue's Sect Head made sure that he set that rule up.

"Payment is usually in Life Stones or objects that can generate Life Power. The Rogue Sect is the top-rated assassin sect in the known universe, but we don't have a lot of people. Our team is made up of only elites, and most of the time they're out doing missions. We teach assassin techniques mainly, but not only that. Escape, movement, self-defence and torture techniques are available in the library too.

"Everyone has free access to these in the library, but in return, you have to make an oath of blood never to reveal anything you've learnt in the library to anyone else, including other people in the Rogue Sect. Never tell anyone the location of the Rogue Sect and never betray the Rogue Sect.

"If you feel like this sect doesn't suit you, you're welcome to leave as long as that oath stays in place. It is completely impossible to remove and stop the oath from killing you if you break it.

"In this universe, there are countless people who prey on the weak, who profit off wars and think they're above any laws… To be optimistic, at least that means we'll never run out of jobs. Even if our team were to expand by the hundreds, it still won't be enough to complete all missions."

John took in all the information with patience. If he could get Life Pool units from killing immortals, then joining this sect could be his best course of action. For a while, anyway. He waited as Jamie took a long drink from his glass and placed it back onto the table.

"I've got the best beginner's technique here to help get you started with absorbing Life Power." Jamie reached into a bag that hung from his chair and pulled out a book. "Buckle down and give it a read. For now, I'll get a Grand Elder to sort out a living quarter for you."

With a nod, John received the book from Jamie. Without further ado, he sat down on the grass and started reading.

The book detailed a breathing exercise that was special for absorbing Life Power. When properly used, it could draw power from any source that had Life Power. As John flipped through the last few pages, he heard a familiar sound.

John looked up at Jamie, who was sitting back in his throne. "Master, while I wait for my living quarters to be assigned, I wish to go to the library and gain some knowledge. Could you tell me which way it is?"

"Eager, aren't you?" The Head smiled. "Fine, but first you need to complete the blood oath. Once you go to the bottom of the corridor, turn right. It's the building next door. A Grand Elder is in charge of protecting it. Tell him I sent you."

"Thank you," John said. He then approached the throne and Jamie helped him complete the blood oath.

Once the oath was sorted out, he stood up and did a martial arts salute. Soon, he was on his way. After another journey down the decorated halls, John reached the library.  He told the Grand Elder about Sect Head sending him here and was allowed in.

First, he wanted to look at purifying techniques. It was his priority to reach the pure white stage since, apparently, that was the greatest Life Power there was. He walked around and found six books of purifying techniques. He sat down to read the first one and found the system didn't react at all. The second book, nothing. Third, fourth, and fifth, nothing. Then, he read the sixth book.

Congratulations on discovering a skill to help the system's skills. We have increased the level.'

'Purifier - Idlers 135/135, Impurities - 1/3, Compact - 0/3, Speed - 0/3, Time - 22d 18h 54m 35s'

'Wait, it didn't increase the time for the next level? Damn, this is brilliant! But, wait, why did it not level up on the first five books?'

John re-read them again. He could tell that the first five books were third-rate, but the sixth book was top class. That's when it hit John.

Robert just pointed at the exit. John nodded and went outside, where he saw a man who looked around the same age as him. He was wearing the same black and silver robes that the sect had given John, and he was also a redhead with a black beard, like Grand Elder Robert. He had blue eyes, a fleshy nose, and his hair and beard covered quite a bit of his face. John noted the similarity between this man and the Grand Elder.

John smiled. "Hello, are you Grand Elder Robert's disciple? My name is John, and thank you for showing me the way."

The man just nodded, turned around, and walked away. John followed.

Hey I'm Kris Mage and I'm the popular guy in school, the topic of everyone's conversations, the guy who's dated at least 27 different girls... But that's not the only thing, I'm also super handsome and manly, everyone wants a piece of this charmer! Oh and I have the PERFECT morning routine, I get up out of bed- doing a back flip ( Spin on the spot, ) then I go brush my teeth, which I can do in under 30 seconds, then I go get some orange and mango juice out of the fridge, that I can drink under 30 seconds ( I often wipe the juice off my face onto my white shirt  ), I go change into my clothes and tadaa I'm done!! That is it, the perfect morning routine, well according to a comic I read it is. Uh... Oh right... I have a whole collection of comics, books and manga. Basically anything you can read, I've read. Yeah, It's nerdy as hell, but so long as no one finds out I'm a total freak it should be fine... Well, there is one person who knows I'm a book nerd, but they wouldn't DARE speak of it! EVER. A few years ago me and the guy were.... As much as I hate to say it... Fr- FRIENDS DAMMIT!!! We would go to my house on our bikes singing some stupid song, it went like "OOhhhhh!! Let's go!! Na na superrrr herrros on theee wayy!! YEA YEA YEA, Weeeee are gonna save the daaaaaay!!! No matter wha-" UGGGGGGGGHHH just thinking of it makes me cringe!!! Are voices would crack every time we sang "daaaaay." I can't believe I use to do that in public! All the kids we rode past would laugh at us, but we wouldn't care, we we're to caught up in the song... Actually... Some times I still hum the song while reading at night... B-but it's not like my voice cracks anymore, and plus I do it in my room, not on the pathway were everyone can hear me! Oh right- The day we stoped being friends... Err...

 It was the day a new comic was coming out, me and the guy had been talking 'bout it for weeks!! "Mega millions," it was about a middle schooler who wanted to become the worlds greatest hokey player, of course sports comics are the best!! When I got to school, I ran straight into my class, to the guys desk, and we started screaming out of joy, jumping on the spot and spinning around. Throughout the whole day, we talked in every class, just about mega millions, we got told of 'bout 10 times, ignoring the teachers. In period 6, the last class of the day, sport, and we were playing hokey! Being the nerds we were, we pretended to be the 2 main character from Mega millions, I was Vector, the rival, and the guy was Menji, the hero of the story. As we were playing and saying stupid nerdy lines, a group of kids came up to us, if I remember correctly there names were; Benonison, Jermenly and garatmon ( *Ben, Jeremy and garret. ) Of course, they were considered popular ( obviously not as popular as I am now. ) Our role-playing came to a hault as one of the boys grabed the guys shirt and threw him down, my mind stopped. My... Friend... Had been thrown to the ground. And now he was getting called names. "Nerd. Looser. Book freak." They even told him things like " No one likes you. Books are only for loosers like you. Just die. Go on and jump of a building." They even grabbed his bag. What was inside? It was mega millions. It had a sticky note stuck on the front cover, I didn't have enough time to read it at that moment. They proceeded the rip the book up in the guys face, screaming insults. Then they turned to look at me. Being... Being the worthless guy I am, I ran away knowing they hadn't seen my face to well. I ran and ran as I thought things like "they don't know I'm a book freak too, If I run they won't beat me up!" sliping and tumbling, I grabed my bike and peddled, I peddled so fast I thought my feet might break, heart beating as fast as my feet it could rip out of my chest. I was a coward. That night it rained, it hailed, it was cold. The next day riding to school, I didn't dare to sing. When I arrived at the destination and put my bike down ( dropped it ), I ran to where my fr- the guy had been beat up... Blood stains... And the sticky note in a pile of riped up paper. I walked slowly to where the sticky note layed. Picked it up and read it. "-For Kris, my best friend, I hope we can read this book together!" Mind blank. Tears Streaming down my face. I sunk to my knees. Hands on the cold wet ground. I stayed like that. I stayed like that for hours until a teacher found me. After that I never talked to the guy again. Well not like I use to... I started insulting him. Pushing him around. But not once did the guy push me back. I... I never wanted to run... I never wanted to leave him... Why am I such a worthless piece of-.... No, nevermind, I don't care. I'm popular now, I have everything anyone would want. I'm cool! I'm no coward!! Yeah! Yeah....

Oh I know some of this stuff dosn't line up with what the other charecter said in the previous chapter, I forgot about that when writing, oops. 

 I apologise for the lack of chapters, and for the story not being the best. I will work on getting better.

Dear Diary,

2nd day of school down and.... *sigh* a lot more to go. Oh well, its school.

Anyway, it was an okay day at school. English was kinda fun, Mrs. Berry asked us to create a list of five goals that we want to reach by the end of the year. My five goals were:

1. Get all A's
2. Pass all test with 80% or better ( Getting a B- minimum shouldn't be that hard.)
3. Read more books
4. Form good study habits (Mine were horrible last year!)
5. Be more involved in school activities

Those are the goals that I thought were something that I could do, but at the same time weren't to difficult that I wouldn't be able to consistently hit my goals. After doing that for Mrs. Berry, I thought I would make my own for my freshman year. Let's see what do I wanna to do this year.

1. Get all A's. I still want good grades, plus I know it would make my dad happy. 
2. Be more involved in school activities, like maybe join a sport, team, or club. High School has a lot of those compared to middle school and I didn't do much in middle school. Time to make some memories. :)
3. Spend more time with my besties. Even though I want to go out and try new things, they are still my best friends and I want to spend time with them. Even its its studying for stupid school test together.
4. Get a boyfriend. :) Only if dad approves though. Now that I think about I don't know, how he feels about me dating... I'll ask him if it ever seems like a possibility.
5. First Kiss. <3 I know totally depends on number 4, but I can dream. Haha.

Speaking of boys and boyfriends, I did manage to see Dylan today. He was the eighth grade hotter when I was in middle school, even us 6th graders would stare at him and he looks hotter than he did two year. Is that even possible?! To bad he is a Junior though, I won't have any classes with him.

Li Du walked into the hotel, looked around and said, "Nice atmosphere. The style is unique with all the yellowish-brown bricks. What's the name of this style?"
Hans grinned. "Water shortage style."
"What?" Li Du asked, confused.
"It was a Spanish mudbrick house," Hans explained. "A very ancient style of Spanish houses.
"The yellowish-brown bricks that you see is a local feature of Tucson. The weather here is dry all year round, without any rainfall for long periods of time. That's why they used bricks dried under the sun instead of fired in a kiln."
"What if it rains?" Li Du asked. "Does that mean the house will collapse?"
Hans shrugged. "The thing is that it doesn't rain often. Even when it does, it's only a few drops and causes no harm to the already dried and hardened bricks."
Li Du had learned something new and believed that people in Tucson never bothered to take precautionary steps. If it were him living in these houses, he would worry about the house collapsing.
The hotel was famous and their service was fantastic. If the guest brought a child under 14, they would add extra bedding for free, and they even prepared dinner for the kid.
The hotel had a garden full of a wide variety of plants, which was a rare scene in a desert area.
Behind the garden was a swimming pool, and in front of it was a library. These formed a resort, where people could either drink a cup of coffee on the patio or read books in the library. When the weather was hot, they could choose to chill in the garden or swim in the pool. All of these were great activities for relaxation.
Besides that, the hotel allowed their guests to bring pets. Li Du was required to pay 20 dollars for each pet, and 40 dollars if the pet exceeded the weight of 20 pounds.
Fortunately, Ah Meow and Crispy Noodles were under this weight, which saved Li Du some money..
After using the little bug vigorously in the morning, he felt exhausted. After checking into the hotel, he went to the garden with three of his pets and found a quiet place to drink some coffee.
The was a croquet court beside the garden. Li Du watched with interest—some people were passionately playing and he had never played the sport before.
Croquet was an outdoor sport that involved hitting balls with a mallet through silver hoops embedded in the grass or flat ground. It originated from France, reached England in the 13th century, and then spread to Scotland and Italy in the 17th century.
This sport spread to America in the 19th century.
Despite the late introduction, Americans loved the sport as well. The National Croquet Association had been formed to widely promote this sport to everyone. It was actually easier to play than golf.
Ah Meow couldn't contain himself when he saw the balls flying around the court.
Right after Li Du put him down so he could take a rest, the ocelot jumped over to the court and started running around.
Li Du was so tired that he had no energy left to chase after him. He could only shout after the big cat. "Ah Meow, come back here!"
Ah Meow ignored Li Du's call and continued chasing after the balls. They seemed like fish to him. He jumped around; then he used a paw to swipe a ball and pounced on it.
The croquet balls were small: the size of pool balls. The material used was hard and heavy like pool balls as well. So when Ah Meow hit the ball with his paw it was very painful—he felt the pain in his bones. He mewled a few miserable cries and stumbled a few times running back to his master.
After that, Ah Meow sat down quietly. This didn't last long, however, because he found another thing to do: catch fish with his paw.
There was a pond in the garden. Much like a Chinese garden, they had aquarium fish like goldfish in it.
The first to notice the fish was Crispy Noodles. He cast a sneaky look at the fish and crawled quietly to the pond. He swung his paw in the water and tried to catch one.
Those poor fish were shocked by this. Normally, those who came to the pond were men and women. No one had ever tried to catch the fish for food—not to mention with their bare hands.
Crispy Noodles was excited; he put his paw into the water and when the time was right, he immediately scooped out a fish; it landed on the ground!
Ah Meow's eyes sparkled. Fish!
Li Du was tired both physically and mentally, but he still stood up and chased after the two furry rascals. "Why can't you guys stay quiet for a moment?" he scolded. "F*cking come back to me now!"
Ah Meow and Crispy Noodle thought Li Du had decided to join in their adventure, so they ran around the pond, waiting for Li Du to catch them. Li Du could only chase after them using whatever strength he had left until he finally caught both of them.
When Li Du returned to where he'd been sitting, Ah Ow was missing.
Li Du panicked and thought, Ah Ow is still a puppy. What if she was taken away by someone else? Li Du was extremely upset because Sophie could become angry about this. He was afraid that she would break up with him.
Just when Li Du was about to go to the hotel staff to ask them to show him the CCTV, Ah Ow appeared before him. The chubby little puppy had been finding spots to do her business. She'd peed happily all over the garden as if she wanted to mark her scent.
Li Du felt weak all over; he laid down on the chaise lounge and watched her run around the garden. He was upset that all of his pets loved to make him worry about them.
As Ah Ow was peeing, her nose suddenly twitched. She sniffed around, then ran to a sandy area and started to dig up the sand.
Li Du glanced at her and said, "Ah Ow, please stop digging. I am begging you, please come back right now!"
Ah Ow ignored him and in no time, she had dug a small hole.
Li Du was speechless and decided to let her do what she wanted. Since it was part of the garden, he could cover it up with more sand afterward.
Ah Ow continued digging and suddenly came running to Li Du with something in her mouth. She tried to climb onto his leg.
Li Du glanced down and noticed that Ah Ow had a bracelet in her mouth. The bracelet was decorated with bright and colorful gems; the gems seems dirty due to the long time underground.
It looked like a fake gemstone bracelet, but in case it was actually a real one he released the little bug to examine it.
His guess had been wrong.
When the little big was released, it filled with excitement and immediately flew to the bracelet. It started to suck the time energy from it.
Li Du wanted to summon it back, but he thought for a while and let it be. The bracelet had been found by Ah Ow in the middle of nowhere, so there was nothing wrong with claiming it as his own.
As the little bug continued sucking the time energy, the bracelet became duller and older; it eventually lost its shine and started to have cracks on it, and then it broke into fragments.
After the little bug had finished taking all the time energy from the bracelet, Li Du wanted to take a closer look at it. But the moment he touched the bracelet, it collapsed into dust.
Ah Ow realized that Li Du had great interest in the bracelet, so she went back to the hole she made and continue digging.
Li Du wondered why there had been a treasure buried in the sand. He decided to go take a look at the hole. As Ah Ow continued digging, something was unveiled!

Storage auctions, old goods trade, re-estate sales and gold-digging. But the truth is, if one wants to make money, then the supreme way is through searching for the legendary treasures. 
Holding the fort, there’s an ocelot, a wolf, and an Andes condor. At the side, there’s a loyal hound, an irascible ape, and an African honey badger. Who said that you can only rely on humans when treasure hunting?! 

A golden eyed child with a mop of platinum blond hair scooted around the corner of the corridor giggling in glee running as fast as a chubby little legs could carry him behind him he heard aunt Mira calling out for him to stop running looking over its shoulder he failed to see the person standing in front of them right up until he was snatched up in a pair of arms. 
"Gramps", Alex chirped in delight throwing his arms around his grandpas neck giving him a big hug.
Zakath grinned at his antics, "What's all this about?" he asked Alex as Mira rounded the corner.
"We were playing tag!" exclaimed Alex, "Aunty was it" he giggled.
Mira rolled her eyes and explained how lunch had devolved into a game of tag between Alex Lily and Anna, Zakath chuckled at the children's antics. He spotted two small heads poking out from around the corner. Smiling at them Zakath called out, "come on out you two little devils" as he gestured to the two little girls. Pouting slightly at being called devils the two of them came out from around the corner. Lily had sapphire blue eyes and her hair took after her grandfather being a deep black that flowed down her back, she was the more sensible of the three but frequently got caught up in the pace of things regardless. Anna on the other hand had emerald green eyes that seemed to sparkle in the light with fiery red hair that she kept in a loose pony tail, she was most definitely the common instigator of the trouble the 3 of them got up to. As for Alex he was the glue that bound the little group of mischief together, partly due to his dragon tamer heritage but also just due to his bright and open personality, it was very hard to stay angry at Alex for very long.

"I have a small announcement to make to you three troublemakers seeing you are all here, soon you will all turn three years old, so starting at the beginning of next year we will have some tutors coming to start teaching you basic knowledge like reading 
Alex eyes lit up, he was a knowledge sponge and had a great sense of curiosity so he loved seeing new things and meeting new people. "You mean I'll be able to read all the books in the book room?" exclaimed Alex excitedly.
"It's called a library Alex", Mira smiled as she ruffled his hair, "and yes once you learn to read you will be able to make use of all the books in there".
"Awesome" cried out Alex with a small fist pump. He turned to the girls, "We can all read the books together!".
"Un" both nodded their heads. Alex grinned at them.

As promised their birthdays came and went and at the beginning of the year their tutor arrived at the mansion, she introduced herself as Ms Rightworth. A prim and proper lady, she wore glasses with her hair done up in a tight bun. She apparently had most recently been teaching in school for nobles in the Kingdom of Valent and was quite strict with the trio rarely letting their antics slide, it was around this time the trio learnt the art of puppy dog eyes which helped immensely with getting out of trouble. 
Alex soaked up knowledge like dehydrated sponge and could read as well as the average adult by the end of the year, he even helped Lily and Anna by keeping his promise and reading books together in the library normally supervised by Mira just to make sure nothing got destroyed. More often than not she would find the three of them asleep on the couch Lily and Anna on either side of Alex with a book open in his lap while they drooled on his shoulders.

The three of them learnt a wide range of topics from maths and literacy to geography as well common sense information Like currencies used in various kingdoms as well as the workings of the Guild such as the merchants and adventurer guilds. Anna instantly fell in love with the idea of the adventurer guild and became determined to become a member when she grew up. Alex and Lily also thought that that would be an awesome idea and that they would form their own group together. The even got so hyped up over the idea they spent the rest of the coming up with names for the group.

One day while the three were seated in the library reading a story about a mighty wizard who saved a kingdom from an evil demon, Alex raised a question to Mira who was sitting nearby reading her own book.
"Mira when can we learn magic?" Alex queried 
Mira looked up to see 3 pairs of shining eyes looking in her direction. For you Alex you can begin learning at the age of six, in fact we already have a magic tutor arranged to come after your sixth birthday, as for you girls you will have to wait for a ceremony when you are twelve as you are both pure blooded dragons and have to learn draconic magic and you will need the ability to shift forms before you can start learning it. Alex frowned slightly and hesitantly asked, "Aunty Mira will I be able to learn draconic magic as well?".
Mira sighed slightly "There is a way for you to learn draconic magic but it requires a special set of circumstances, you will need to wait till your older before anything like that can happen" replied Mira 
"Okay Aunty so long as there is the chance I'm sure it will happen", grinned Alex.

Time passed and Alex turned six along with the girls. Three months after his birthday his magic tutor arrived, he introduced himself as Sage Pennteller, he was an elderly gentleman but still moved with the vigour of someone much younger, his hair had long gone grey and he while he kept his hair trimmed short he did sport an flowing beard. Apparently he was from Arcvein the kingdom dominated by mages and he would be teaching me everything to do with magic for the next few years.
Much to the chagrin of the girls they were dragged off to special etiquette classes by Mira and Ms Righworth.
"Ok Alex first thing we are going to do is check your magical affinities and mana pool" stated Sage Pennteller
Alex eyes lit up with curiosity, "What are elemental affinities?" 
"Good to see you aren't one of those timid types that is scared to ask questions" laughed the Sage, "Elemental affinities give you an idea as to what type of magical field you want to focus in, basically it boils down to the higher the affinity you have with a particular element the easier it is for you to learn it and use it".
Alex nodded with a thoughtful look on his face. Sage Pennteller pulled out a strange looking board and placed it on the table, the board had an obvious indent which was intended for someone to place their hand in but then it flared out to six columns with a With a unique symbol at the bottom of each column repeating four times it goes up.
Seeing the curiosity in Alex eyes the Sage chose to explain the affinity board to him. "As you can see Alex there are 6 affinities, these are earth, fire, wind, water, lightning and space. Each symbol past the first indicates another level of affinity, the first symbol is low affinity, then going up from there, medium affinity, high affinity and finally master affinity. If you pop your hand on the indent the board will pull out a small bit of mana and test your affinities".
Without further ado Alex placed his hand on the board and felt 'something' being pulled out *must be my mana* he thought to himself. Looking at the board eagerly, suddenly the runes on the board started lighting up.
"Pretty good so far" commented the Sage, all the runes lit up for low affinity, "its quite rare for someone to have even a small bit of affinity for all types of magic"
Then the next set of runes lit up Space, Fire and Wind all made it up to medium, the Sage cocked an eyebrow at this, it was quite rare for medium affinity space mages to appear. Before he could finish that though both fire and wind lit up the third rune. The Sage blinked not believing what he was seeing, two high ranked affinities and a medium ranked space affinity it was like he hit the jackpot.
Then his mind blanked out as the final two runes for fire and wind both lit up, the Sage just stared dumbly not believing what he was seeing, dual master affinities! 
"Are you ok?" asked Alex a small amount of concern on his face as he looked at Pennteller.
Pennteller came back to himself with a slight shake, "Fine Alex, right as rain, before we measure your mana levels I need to quickly discuss your affinity results with your grandpa, while I'm away read this" he said passing Alex book titled Mana and you getting in touch with your inner energy. 
Alex shrugged and started reading as Penteller quickly left the room to find his employer.

I told the girl that I couldn't read the language. She said "really how didn't you go to school." I said "Well you see..." I thought to myself "do I tell her that I'm not from this world.. no lets see." I said "I didn't pay attention in school." 
    Then she said "really you don't look like that kinda guy." I said "really I think that I do" she sat there for a moment probably catching her words. She said "well what ever I suppose I could teach you really fast." In my mind I thought that this would be quick and simple but this went on for a few hours. After we finished I could read the language a little better but not one hundred percent. She said "ok that will do for now I think." I said "yeah, I'll let you know if I need anymore help." I was reading the books for about an hour. I originally thought that she had left, but she waited by the door outside at this point I thought that she was keeping an eye on me. So I decided to ask for her name to try and build some trust. I ask "so what was your name." She said "my bad my name is Rose, what about you?" I said "I am Akao Kazuaki." I think that that makes us have a bit more trust.   Then she said "I'm going to need you to come with me" I said "for what is something wrong." I ended up following her all the way to the castle to meet the king. The reason I was there was still unclear to me. The king said "Rose why have brought this man here" Rose said "I found him wandering in the forest near The Empire." The king looked surprised and said "we haven't had a spy or assassin in years." Rose said "I don't believe he is ethier of those" the king said "is that so then what is the problem" Rose said "he seems to be uneducated about the world unlike everyone else." The king had an eh type of face and said "whatever if he isn't a spy or assassin then there isn't any reason for me to be worried." As I sat there bowing down I felt relieved. Then I was able to freely leave the castle unharmed thankfully. After I was out I started to find someway to make money but I ran into Rose again. Rose said "what are you doing" I said that "I am looking for a way to get money so I can get a place to stay tonight." Rose said "I can lend you some money for a starter." I said "sure, that would be very helpful." Then I bought a place the inn it seems that an inn is basically a hotel or motel. When I had got to my room there was a note on the bed. The note said 'You are able to go back and fourth from this world and your original once a day. Except you can't get a job in your original world but I will refill your account with money every day. You are allowed to get a job in this world though. Sincerely, The person that summoned you here.' I was shocked at what the note said. So I decided to try it and I landed back in my room so I went to my laptop and found somewhere around one million in my account. I decided to buy some soccer balls, some shin guards, and some sport shoes. Then I noticed a note on my bed that said that if I wanted to bring the stuff back if I did a few simple hand motions. The soccer stuff would arrive the next day. So, I headed back to the other world and decided to get some rest.
