ROSE LIA AND SANA WAS DISCUSSING THEIR PLAN.

Lia- what's that?
Rose- What's the plan?

Sana- Listen  we have to trick Elsa to get her to Dark room.

Lia- Who would do that?

Rose- I can't do that because she knows me.

Sana- Lia will do.

Lia- What Me?

Sana- Yes you.
Listen you'll tell her to get old books from Dark room.

Lia- And why would she listen to me.

Sana- Just tell teacher wants you to do. And you have to do another work. Simple.

Lia- Ok then.

Sana- Then your work is over. Rose you'll be hiding outside the door.

Rose- If she saw me then?

Sana- Don't let her see you . When you hear a sound of someone entering.  After 20 seconds lock the door.

Rose- 20 sec why?

Sana- I'll put the books at the top shelf. She will be busy taking that book from shelf at that time you lock the door. She can't do anything.

Rose- Oh you're right. Let's go with the plan.
ACCORDING TO THE PLAN SANA GET SOME OLD BOOKS AND PUT IT TO TOP SHELTER IN THE DARK ROOM.

ELSA AND NAISHA GOING TO SPORTS FIELD.
THEY SAW DANNY COMING.

Naisha- Hey baby, where are you going.

Danny- oh Baby, I am going to sports room.

Naisha- Why.

Danny- Coach wants me to get me some equipments.

Naisha- Is it so much? Do you need my help.

Elsa- You want to go with him. Just go.

Naisha- I just want to help him.

Elsa- I know I know.

Danny- Ok baby come with me.

Naisha- Elsa, will you be fine with me.

Elsa- Yeah, I'll be fine. You go with him.

NAISHA AND DANNY LEFT. ELSA WAS GOING TO FIELD. SOMEONE SHOUTED ELSA'S NAME. SHE STOPPED AND TURNED BACK.

Lia- Hey Elsa. ( Shout)

Elsa- Hey. Do I know you.

Lia- I am sec C.

Elsa- Oh. How would you know my name?

Sana- Is everything fine here?

Rose- Yes I locked her in the dark room.

ROSE GO TO DOOR AND SAID

ROSE - You want to steal my boyfriend. Now you know.

Sana- Don't you ever mess with our queen.

FROM DARK HOUSE SOMEONE SHOUTING "OPEN THE DOOR". ROSE AND SANA LEFT.
NAISHA AND DANNY CAME TO FIELD AND BROUGHT THE EQUIPMENT. THEY GAVE THEM TO COACH.

Danny- Coach we got your equipments.

Coach- Put it here. 

Danny- Ok Coach.

NAISHA WAS FINDING ELSA IN THE FIELD.

Naisha- I wonder where Elsa is. 

Danny- She should somewhere be in the field. 

Naisha- Ok. I'll find her. You go practice with your teammates.

Hermione ended up joining our study sessions after the troll incident happened.


She was still a little tense, but with the help of Daphne, she was slowly starting to see that not all things in the books are right, thus slowly they became good friends.


How she did that is simple really, she just pointed out the simple fact that different books about different subjects say different things.


The following weeks had slipped by quickly now that I'd had ignored my idiotic brother and that moronic Weasily's actions. and things have been looking up...well, besides the Quidditch match that was coming up Rose and Hermione...well morely Rose drew me into seeing a Quidditch  match aomething that I had no particular care or interest for. 



Adam- "I can't believe I am doing this right now.


Blaise smirked at me.


Blaise- "I can, you can never turn down Rose."


Rose suddenly wrapped an arm around my shoulders and snuggled into me making me blush and causing my friends to snicker.


Adam- "R-Rose? what are you doing?"

Rose just snuggled deeper and said in response.

Rose- "I'm cold, you make me warm."



My friends laughed at the expression on my face.


I shot a hex at Tracy who was wiggling her eyebrows in response yelped.

Just then the two teams came out along with Madam hootch.



Hootch- "alright, now I want a fair game you here?"

I snorted thinking about the idea of slySlytherinsing fair. All of my friends agreed with me.


Hootch- "Let the quidditch game commence!"

As I watched the game from the stands.  blocking out the loud cheering from the people around me, I started to think. I wasn't interested in sports in my past life. The only time I watched sports was the redskins on tv on Sundays with my mom. 

They weren't really that good even a person who doesn't even want sports like me could tell that.


I was started out of my musings when I heard a loud shout.


???- "Look out!"


I glance at the player who was flying towards Rose and I ame high speed. 


I grabbed my wand and waved, a blue light shot from the tip expanding into a small barrier that the player had suddenly crashed into, before following to the ground with a loud thud.



Adam- "Hey Higgs, you alright?!"


he slowly and shakily raised his hand before giving me a thumbs up in response.

We had all met up at hagrid's after the Quidditch match for some tea to discuss what had happened. It was a total of me, Rose, Daphne, Tracy, Blaise, Neville, Hermione, and Hagrid.


Neville- "Me and Hermione saw snape curse Higgs broomstick, muttering to himself it must be him, Snape wouldn't let his eyes off of him." 



Hagrid- "Total rubbish...why would he do somethin' like that?"



Tracy -"Yeah I agree, If It was mcladdin I might, but Snape wouldn't curse his own house like that."


Neville- "I think he tried to get past the three-headed dog on Halloween and it bit him, I and Hermione thought he was trying to steal whatever was guarding it."


Hagrid dropped his teapot.


Hagrid-"you know about fluffy? how?!"


Neville- "Fluffy?"


Hagrid- "Yes he's mine, I bought him off a Greek chappie and lund it to Dumbledore to guard the-"


Hermione- "-yes~"

She looked really eager.

Hagrid paused in mid-sentence and shook his head.

Hagrid- "Don't, don't ask me anymore, it's supposed to be top secret!"


Hermione-"But he did just try and steal it!"


Hagrid- "Rubbish, Snape'll do nothing of the sort, he's a Hogwarts teacher."

Hermione- "But he just tried to kill Rose and Adam! I know a jinx when I see one hagrid and I had read a. a lot of books about it Snape was staring unblinkingly at Higgs broom, it has to be him!"

Hagrid- "Yer Wrong I'm telling ya now that it's not! theirs no way snape would try to kill a student!"


Blaise- "Besides I noticed that queirll was also acting very strange recently, that stutter was very fake."

Hermione and Neville didn't look convinced. I sighed probably thinking that this conversation well goes on forever.

Hagrid- "Enough!  this doesn't concern you! It's dangerous! You forget about the dog! You forget about what's guarding it! that stuff is between Professor Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel."


Neville looked triumphed


Neville- "Aha! so there was something about Nicolas Flamel!?"



I sighed while Hagrid looked furious with himself.


Hagrid- "Alright, you two I can already tell your not gonna let this go,  just promise me no matter what I say you'll be careful with yourselves alright?"


The two griffs nodded their heads. I glanced at Rose and had to stifle a groan, she looked way too eager. I can already tell this is going to be a pain in the ass in the future.

Margaret threw her head back and groaned. 
Of course... How could she forget?
Well, it could've been worse. At least they were generous enough to leave her 'clues' and didn't send her on a wild goose chase across the whole campus.

Who said chivalry was dead.

She took a second look at the note. So if she were to follow the clues, she may be able to finish this stupid game in one period's time. She would have to miss History but she should be able to make it for Math and Literature. And besides, she could use this as exercise to burn the calories gained from lunch. 

Margaret grabbed the note and closed the door. Does she need to lock it? Clearly, she was not the only one with the key to her locker. 

'Well, I'll lock it anyway. Just for the heck of it.'

Now, what was the first clue? Margaret flipped the piece of paper in her hand and saw a sentence written on it.

[Round 1: Reach the Grand Hall and claim your prize.]

"Grand Hall ?" Margaret thought out loud, and then snorted. 'Is that it?' 

She couldn't stop shaking her head in disappointment. They couldn't even write a challenging clue. But in this situation, Margaret shouldn't complain since it made things much easier for her. And, she could quickly finish the game and get back. 

For the first location, there are only two places in the campus which could be called 'Grand Hall.'
First was the auditorium and the other, the sports hall. The only problem here was they were on the opposite ends. She has to make a correct choice here or she'll end up going back and forth. But she doesn't have much information to get to any sort of conclusion. She could only check the two locations one by one and hope she gets lucky.

Margaret sighed heavily. This was all 'their' game. Why would they make it any easier for her? It's a waste of time to stand and think here. She has to take a chance and see how it goes.

Margaret slowly pushed the double doors in front of her, just enough to squeeze her head between to peek inside. Then she blew a sigh of relief and went in, closing the doors behind her. 
She stood in front of a large rectangular hall with grey walls and high ceiling. On one side were numerous rows of step seating with full view of the hall. And the opposite wall has large rectangular windows aligned horizontally at the top to let sunlight and fresh air. The polished wooden floor was spotlessly clean except for the colored lines spreading across the floor, marking various courts. 

It was the multi-sports hall of the university. The size of the place made her feel tiny and insignificant. It was where all the big games were hosted in front of a large audience. 

Lucky for Margaret, it was empty at the moment.

But she wondered why such a place wasn't locked when no one was using it. She didn't want to think it was opened or rather, left open especially for her. Margaret looked around and her eyes spotted a suspicious, tall step ladder at the other end of the hall. She started moving towards it as she squinted her eyes and focused on the ladder. A big smile formed on her face as she got a closer look and found her property. Lucky!

There were a couple books placed on top of the ladder in plain view. And she was indeed lucky because she managed to find her stuff at the first place and avoided the trip to the other end of the campus. She was off to a quick start. And she needed to be quick too, after all she was in a race against time. 

Margaret slowly ran towards the ladder and carefully climbed it to reach high enough to grab the books. And as she took the books into her hands, a thin string placed under them slipped away, and Margaret realized that she triggered some sort of trap. 

'Damn it. I should've been more suspicious, it was never so easy. I was careless.'  She mentally scolded herself  as she turned her head left and then right, trying to find whatever it was, before it finds its way to her. 

Then she heard a small pop and understood that it was too late. A moment later, there was a loud bang and a large black weight plate tied to a rope came swinging down behind her. Margaret turned around and her eyes widened at the sight of the oncoming threat as her heart started pounding in her ears. It was aimed straight towards her on the ladder, and if it does hit her with such force, she won't get away with just slight bruises. 

She looked down and gritted her teeth. There was only one way to escape, the 7ft jump to the ground. She could make it, she was confident in her physical abilities. And besides, there was no other way, and more importantly, no time. 

With two big books in her arms, Margaret turned to the side and jumped away just as the circular weight crashed into the ladder with a loud bang.

 She closed her eyes in a panic and couldn't keep her balance intact on landing. She dropped heavily on her legs, and a sharp pain flashed across her face. She hissed in pain and clutched her right ankle as the ladder fell to floor behind her making another loud noise.

Margaret winced at the chaos behind her and then began to assess her ankle. There was slight pain when she tried to move it, but it wasn't unbearable. After trying a few movements slowly, she concluded she wouldn't be crippled and let out a sigh.

She then turned her attention to the two books lying face down in front of her. She scooted close and picked up the nearby book. She put it in her lap and scanned the pages quickly. Then she picked up the second book and did the same. This time she stopped midway and plucked out a small piece of paper from it.

[Hope you are still in one piece. Stay safe.]

Hahaha. Margaret let out a dry chuckle at the satiric remark. Although she was supposed to be angry, there was nothing she could do. So she would never give them the satisfaction by falling to their provocation. She calmly ignored the remark and flipped the paper for the next clue.

[Round 2: Inside the dungeon of the forsaken, awaits your gold.]

As she read the rather creepy clue, Margaret felt a chill down her spine. 

But first things first. She quickly stuffed the books into her bag and stood up, only to slump down immediately. Her ankle was throbbing with pain, unable to bear her weight. She gently touched her ankle and felt it slightly swollen now. 

She couldn't help but groan in disbelief as she realized that she might have sprained her ankle. She took a deep breath and let it out, as she slowly tried to stand up again. This time more carefully, making sure not to put too much weight on her right leg. 

This was not going to be easy, she thought. The sprain may not be serious but it will definitely affect her movement. She could only hope it cooperates with her in the rest of the search.
She opened her palm and looked at the now crumpled piece of paper with the second clue. She let out a dejected sigh. 

It was not going to be easy at all.

Margaret slowly peeked her head through the doors of the sports hall, looking around before stepping out. If anyone were to catch her exiting the sports hall now, it'll be really hard to explain herself. So she slowly stepped out after making sure no one was around and walked away, limping, towards the bench nearby to sit down and analyze the clue.

The clue itself was very easy to figure out. It was no different this time either. It was short and straight. Not much of a challenge for Margaret. 

This time too, the clue pointed to two places at two opposite ends to each other. First was the run-down, discarded chemical lab and the second, the abandoned old library. The problem here though, was not as much about the locations as it was about their history.

Both were equally infamous and spooky with numerous rumors and stories surrounding them. 
Margaret hoped it was not the old library though, because it has a much more long and compelling history which was known not only in the campus but the outside areas surrounding the university as well.

The library was one of the oldest buildings constructed along with the main campus building, with more than 100 years of history to it. It was a part of the heritage and legacy of the founders.

It was said that more than a couple decades ago, the board of directors at that time, as a part of the renovation project, decided to demolish the old library and build a large academic library at the eastern center of the campus. They saw the old library as outdated, and waste of space and expenditure. 

At least, that was the excuse they used to order the dismantling of the old library. The main reason was that they wanted to build a sports ground in that place by cleaning out the surrounding vegetation.

However, the head librarian of that time, Ms. Felicity, stood firmly against the destruction of the library and the surrounding greenery. It was recorded that she was the daughter of the first librarian and grew up in that library. She spent all her life caring and protecting the peaceful place. For her, it was not just a building. It was her home, her sanctuary.

It was said that she fought for months as she tried to find support for her cause and protect the place she believed more important than anything. But because of the strict warnings from the higher ups, no one dared to go against the board to stand beside her.

After numerous failed attempts to convince the board members, she was unable to find support from neither students nor the staff. Unable to bear the thought of watching the library being destroyed, Mrs. Felicity locked herself in the library as a last effort. 

She refused to come out or listen to anyone as she secluded herself inside and stayed there for four long days. On the morning of the fifth day, with the pretext that she has gone mad, the authorities resorted to force to break in and get her out. Even then she didn't make things easy and struggled till the end as she collapsed at the door of the library, clutching her chest. 

She worked for the welfare of the university for more than 50 years without any reservations. She saw the place grow from a small institution to a major university. She helped many eager disciples become educated bureaucrats and officials. But in her last fight, no one stood with her. She died desperate, alone and most of all, heartbroken.

It was a true tragic story but what transpired after, changed the scenario of the situation. Her death triggered a serious reaction and many accusations were made. But a few days after her mourning, people started claiming to see a faint silhouette of a women standing in front of the library. There were even some who even said to hear sinister laughter and wails echoing from the library at nights.

Many came to the conclusion that Ms. Felicity was still lingering around, protecting the library, even after her death. And anyone who dares to enter it will suffer her wrath. 
Even the workers who came to dismantle the place experienced many strange occurrences which strengthened the rumors. 

Margaret wasn't one to believe rumors but the effect they had was hard to ignore. As the rumors were getting out of hand, the board decided to scrap the deconstruction plans and ordered students to stay away from the western corner of the campus. Soon students as well as teachers started to avoid the area. And in the course of time, the library was enveloped with an eerie aura and stood alone as a mausoleum. 

And now, what remained was an urban legend of an abandoned library and the ghost haunting it. 

Suddenly, Margaret realized something as a cold glint flashed in her eyes as a smug smile danced on her face. And with that, she decided her next destination.

Venus White was inconsequential in regards to the matter of the position of the class leader. Instead, she was in a very terrible mood and lowered her head. Sara Joseph's efficiency was very high, not only did she arrange the seats very quickly, but she also selected the class leaders' positions very rapidly.

Winston canon volunteered to be the class monitor. Rank two, Lina Jane became the academic committee monitor. Jasmine Martin was chosen by the class as the art committee monitor, and Trivis Harvey was also chosen by the class as the sports committee monitor.

After Sara Joseph had almost completely arranged the entire situation, it was lunchtime.

"Ok, everyone have a good rest at noon. At two o'clock in the afternoon, the class monitor and the sports committee monitor should take some boys to move books and bring our class books down!"

"Ok!" Different from venus's gloom, Trivis Harvey who was happy ever since the seat arrangements occurred, answered ostentatiously.

As soon as Sara Joseph left, the classroom became lively.

"Ha ha ha ha ha ——" Almost as soon as she left, Trivis guffawed uproariously on the table, pointing to Venus in laughter.

Venus knitted her brows.

"Hahahaha! It turned out to be an underachiever. Ai, I thought you were supposed to be a top student*? You self taught yourself the entire course of grade two? Hahahaha!! Do you want me to laugh to death? " Boys in this grade are overconfident* and don't know how to restrain themselves.

Venus glared at him and stood up.

"heyy? Are you angry?

"I'm not!" She accelerated her pace.

Trivis's  feet are long, so she wasn't able to evade him. He continued to catch up with her and lowered his head down to look at her: "What are you running for, if you are not angry?"

Venus stops for a moment, stands firm, and breathes deeply: "Trivis, because...   Now it's a lunch time and I'm going to eat!"

After she finished retorting, she continued to walk to the canteen quickly.

Trivis stopped his footsteps and curled his lips. The voices of several tall boys came from the basketball court in the distance——

Brother Trivis! Do you want to play basketball? "

"I'm coming!"

When Venus sat down with her food at the table in front of her, Daisy White immediately saw her.

She doesn't like Venus White with her clean face. That delicate face always reminds her of her childhood, when her mother only dared to pull her secretly to look at the family of three.

The father was happily holding his princess, yet she can only be in the back, secretly watching.

Fortunately, it's all hers now.

Daddy is hers and Miss White is her.

"Daisy, what are you looking at?" Two girls next to her asked.

She put down her chopsticks, took out her mobile phone, and sent out a message.

Her eyes were coldly watching Venus White and her mouth was slightly raised.

She didn't want to see Venus White. Year one was so good. Venus wore heavy makeup and didn't come to school very often.

The food in the canteen of Dragon empire is better than the food in the canteen in Eunice's previous life. The Martin family is not short of money. In the morning, Steven Martin fills 10000 dollar in her meal card and says it is her living expenses for this semester.

No matter much how she eats, she won't be able to finish the money. It was nice not to worry about living expenses.

Trivis takes a few boys to move the books into the classroom. Sara Joseph stands on the platform and directs everyone to pass out the books.

Venus's eyes were bright, and they stared at the books directly.

The second year of high school is the craziest year to absorb knowledge. There are six courses in science, each course has two reference books to accompany the teaching materials. There is only one reference book in the other classes. The experimental class is special, and there are two reference books.

All these books and texts are stacked together, covering the table.

When Venus receives the books, she neatly stacks them on the tabletop, and unhurriedly places them into the drawer.

Trivis Harvey who sat next to her tossed all his books straight into his drawer, creating a "Dong——" sound.

He put away his book and saw his desk partner sitting upright, with her back ramrod.

He saw the other party slowly place a book one by one on the table and took out a stack of large and small grid covers of the same color from the drawer. Then, while he was gaping, she placed the books in the covers conscientiously and meticulously.

"Pu——" Trivis almost choked to death, and then burst out in laughter, "Hahahaha! Venus white, can you not be like an elementary school child? Is there anyone else who covers their books these days? Hahaha, I'm about to die from laughter! "

It was not Venus who interrupted Trivis 's laughter, it was Sara Joseph.

"Silence!"

Her eyes swept them sharply, and she raised her voice: "Trivis, Venus! Stand up! "

Venus was stunned and stood up blankly  with her book.

"What are you guys talking about so happily? Tell me so I can hear too? "

Venus white was completely stunned. She knew that she had been dragged into trouble. Because of her poor performance, she was naturally regarded as the eyesore of the teacher. Subconsciously, the teacher thought that they were talking, causing Trivis to laugh.

"What? Cat got your tongue? " Sara Joseph sneers, "Other people are quiet. Only you guys are joking in the back, even if you don't study, can you not affect others?"

"I don't care how good your family is, or how you guys entered into this classroom. Since you joined this class, you have to obey the rules when you come in. I don't care if you don't learn, however, if you laugh in class and affect others, then I can only ask you to leave! This is the first time, but I hope it's the last. Other students, too. Do you hear me? !"

"we hear you!" All fifty students spoke at same time.

Sara Joseph finally said: "Alright, sit down,"

Venus held her head down and despondently sat down.

There was no reply and the person next to him was still wrapping the books as if she didn't hear him.

"hey you!"

Trivis approached with his head, and suddenly he was stunned and asked foolishly, "Are you crying?"

Venus still did not look up, only a transparent water dropped, "Pata " a drop fell on the table.

Trivis shrinks into a quail, not a sound passing his lips.

Ki-woong was a freshman in high school. Standing at over 180 centimeters tall, he was well-built and had a knack for athletics, so much so that if his high school had had a sports club, they would have tripped over their feet trying to recruit him. Still, it so happened that Ki-woong's high school was a liberal arts school and didn't provide a sports club. At this point, Ki-woong was like an older brother to him, a real older brother, smart and kind and caring. He often helped Dong-in with his homework, and sometimes gave him advice when he had issues. They also frequently went out of the institute together. Ki-woong was perhaps the only person Dong-in felt was truly "on his side."

"Dong-in," Ki-woong began. His voice was as kind and gentle as ever, and as soon as he heard it, Dong-in choked back tears. "Did something happen?"

Ki-woong didn't ask why Dong-in had done what he'd done. He didn't reprimand him for doing wrong, and he didn't ask for explanations. He simply asked why Dong-in was acting differently.

Someone who worried for him. That's the kind of person Ki-woong was. He was compassionate, and thoughtful, and cautious.

I'm sorry, Dong-in thought. I'm sorry. Yet, the words didn't leave his mouth. He couldn't look at Ki-woong. He feared he would burst into tears if he did. He feared that Ki-woong would see him for who he really was: a repulsive coward.

Ki-woong looked at Dong-in, standing still, head hung low, and sighed as he pat his shoulder.

"I guess I rushed too much. We'll talk again once you calm down a bit, alright? You know I'm on your side."

He was so kind, and Dong-in had yelled at him, cursed at him. Stupid Dong-in. Bad Dong-in. He knew he would be spending a long time reprimanding himself.

Ki-woong turned around and left, closing the door behind him. As he made for the stairs, he ran across a boy in the hallway. It was the same boy that Dong-in had hit earlier. Ki-woong only knew of him from the many rumors surrounding him. He was much too young for the high schooler to have had any proper interactions with, but Ki-woong had heard that he was uncharacteristically clever and well-natured for his age. Frankly speaking, he had heard the most about his "ridiculously good looks" and his "face that would put models to shame," but neither of those things had been particularly interesting for Ki-woong.

"What brings you here? Do you want to see Dong-in?" asked Ki-woong.
"Yes." Lucid answered. There was no fluctuation in his voice, no emotion. His answer was short, level, almost cold and indifferent. Were all elementary schoolers like this, nowadays?
"Well, that's his room over there, but... Well. Why do you want to see him?"

No answer came, no matter how long Ki-woong waited. Dd he perhaps want to apologize? Or perhaps he was here for round two. Wait, Ki-woong thought. Wouldn't it be a bad idea for the two to meet, then?

"I like all books. Even if I don't understand their content right away, as long as I keep reading, I can still learn from them, and then I'll come to understand more and more."

He sounded more like Ki-woong's peer than a first grader.

"Oh, well. Alright. You can borrow them later, if you want. As long as it's not something I need right away, I can lend them to you."

It is almost 1 week passed but Rishabh  did not show up in classroom, Everyone  thought  that he is on leave but she didn't think like that. She belived that there must be a reason behind his absence ,Teacher  announced a date of sports day ,which is scheduled  after I week.Just then Aarvi phone beeped with msg it shows the pic of  Rishabh, she saw it and found that he is out of the city. In the past she had to help out with household chores and had no time to study.
Now that she had to tutor Zhu Baoguo, at the very least she had the weekdays to revise. She stood to gain from this arrangement.

Ding Jiayi had to obey Qiao Dongliang's words. There was no way that she could make Qiao Nan share the burden of the housework.
This weekend, to everyone's surprise, Qiao Zijin was home.
"Zijin, aren't you supposed to be back next week? Why are you back this week?" Ding Jiayi poured her a glass of water and asked her.
"Our school is having a sports meet, that's why I am back. Mom, how did Qiao Nan do in her exams this time? The results should already be out." Zijin did not forget about Qiao Nan's exams.
"Don't mention it. What she said that day was purely to hoodwink us. She had gotten back on track with her exams this time. She was among the top ten in the level and the top three in her class." Ding Jiayi looked defeated at the mention of this.
Qiao Nan made such a tremendous improvement. Her results rose and fell just like a rocket.
"How about you? Your results are out as well. How did you do this time?" Ding Jiayi's eyes sparkled. She was more interested in the elder daughter's results.
"That's right, Zijin, how were your mid-term exams?" Qiao Dongliang who just came back overheard their conversation and asked in concern.
"Similar to what I had before, not as much improvement as Qiao Nan." Qiao Zijin was not quite pleased.
"That's incomparable. The students at The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China are the cream of the crop, can all of the students at Qiao Nan's school enroll in The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China? The ranking is incomparable." Ding Jiayi praised Qiao Zijin. "It's alright, you just have to maintain your standard."
The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China was the key high school in Ping Cheng. A significant percentage of their students could make it into the first tier key university. 
If Zijin could maintain her standard and stay in the top eight places in her class, she should be able to get into the first tier university, if not, a second tier university would be just as good.
As for Qiao Nan's school, one still could not say for sure how many of the students would make it to The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, not to mention getting into a first tier or second tier university.
"Still the eighth place in class? Well, it is more than enough." Qiao Dongliang sounded slightly disappointed. He thought that the elder daughter would improve in her ranking, he did not expect that she would still be ranked eighth in class. "How was your ranking among your level?"
Qiao Nan told them her ranking in both the class and the level. Naturally Qiao Dongliang would like to know how Qiao Zijin did in detail as well.
"In our high school, we only have the ranking within the class, we do not ranked the students according to the level. This is not the final year exams." Qiao Zijin rolled her eyes and thought of an idea.
It was the truth that she ranked the eighth place in class. But she was way behind Qiao Nan in terms of her ranking in the level. 
Qiao Zijin had originally planned to tell her parents of her ranking in the level. But when she heard that Qiao Nan ranked in the top ten, she decided to keep silent about her ranking. 
If she was to tell them, her poor results would be a stark contrast to Qiao Nan's good results.
Qiao Nan had just entered the house, she laughed to herself when she overheard Qiao Zijin's words.
In junior high school, the students would always be ranked according to the level, so it was amusing that The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China did not rank students according to the level.
But seeing that her parents had believed Qiao Zijin's words, Qiao Nan made no other comments.
"Dad, I will bathe first." Qiao Nan put down her stuff in her room, took her clothes and went to bathe. 
Both Qiao Zijin and Qiao Nan had sports meets in their schools.
Unlike Qiao Zijin who only cheered from the sides, Qiao Nan took part in the actual sports events. 
She knew that there would be questions related to sports and microcomputer experiments in the middle school exams, so her participation would be an added bonus in the exams.

Qiao Nan stares at the well-built man in front of her. He has firm abs and cold, chilling eyes. She swallows the lump in her throat as she says her greetings, "Good Morning, Chief!"

Zach approaches Grace while looking her up and down,
.Is there something wrong?.
She blinks a couple times and then replies in a quiet voice,
"No... Nothing, i was just wondering if you had any trouble on the way..."
.No, why would there be?.
"Just asking..."
She turns around and walks into the school while trying to call someone on her phone.
Zach thinks to himself about how she became such a bitch.
He gets to his classroom and finds out that sports day is going to happen once his suspension is done... Luckily?
Mr. Robinson approaches the class and tell everyone to follow him to weigh everyone and do BMI tests, They follow him into a sterile looking room that has scales and other medical equipment scattered about.
Zach starts to feel anxiety sink in and looks into the mirror... He takes a double check but can't shake the feeling that hes gotten taller again.
.Must be the stat change effects.
They all line up and get ready to be measured, eventually it's Zach's turn. 
He steps onto the scale and it reveals that his weight is 100kg,
.I have gotten heavier?.
All the kids around him seem to think its funny and start giggling and making jokes.
Mr. Robinson steps in and says,
"Your weight probably increased because you seem to have had a growth spurt... Lets check"
He gets his height measured and it reveals that he has grown to 5.6ft slightly higher than all he peers apart from Tom.
.Now that i think about it, where is Tom?.
"He called in sick"
They also check blood pressure while everyone is here for a quick health check.
Everyone heads back to the classroom under Mr. Robinsons lead and start doing normal lessons, due to Zach's 1 point increase in intelligence his studies are coming along nicely. This is excluding French and Spanish where he excels above all his peers and has nearly become fluent in them. 

At the end of the day Zach approaches Mr. Robinson for the book that they had agreed on,
"You really are a genius with language, you can make a career out of this youknow?"
.Does it pay well?.
"It depends on how many languages you can get under your belt and how lucky you are."
.Luck has never been my strong suit, thanks for the books Mr. Robinson. I won't see you next week but ill be training for sports day.
"Your training for sports day? Don't push yourself ok. Also make sure not to damage those books."
.Ill try, cya later!.

As Zach is walking home he is approached by a tall man who seems to be familiar,
"Yo, come with me. Your friend Grace wants to talk."
Zach knows what she wants but is kind of on the fence when it comes to killing her too,
.What does she want?.
"You'll know when we get there"
He starts walking to an underpass as Zach follows, what he sees is four men and Grace standing in the middle of them. She greets Zach,
"Hey Zach, these are my new friends... I wanna ask you something; Where. Is. Raheem."
.No idea, did something happen to him?.
"BULLSHIT! He said he was having a meetup with you before school, where is he."
Zach looks around at the now five guys that are standing around, he notices that they are keeping their hands in their pockets like they are holding something.
.I honestly don't know.
Grace looks at Zachs face and frowns,
"Is this revenge because started ignoring you? That stunt you pulled in the nurses office, Beating up Raheem beforehand. Are you that jealous that you have to destroy my life?"
.Pfft, hahahhaha.
Zach starts laughing maniacally, 
.Don't tell me that you didn't know that Raheem has been targeting me ever since he started dating you. Either he hates all guys that you were friends with or he just doesn't like me personally, I'm leaning towards the former because i didn't know him before Sajid turned up and ruined my life.
"No, you started it!"
.I started it by protecting you, you ungrateful slut! Would you have been fine if i had just let them do whatever they want? No, you would be the same as you are now, a clown covered in makeup who's only use is a cum dumpster.
.Let me guess, you even let Sajid and Aamir have a try.
Graces face goes red as her eyes tear up,
"I didn't have a choice!"
.You had a choice when Raheem tried to kill me though, you were even waiting for him to get back. Is it because i humiliated you in school?.
"So you do know where Raheem is."
Zach checks around for people or cameras,
.Yeah, you might see him on the news soon.

The atmosphere changes when Zach says those words.
Grace looks at one of the guys beside her and nods before running away.
The five men pull out knives and seem to be wearing think leather gloves,
.So she was gonna try kill me even if i didn't know where he is.
"We already got paid."
.That's the answer i was looking for.
Zach knows Grace isn't rich nor does she have lots of connections, these guys must be street level thugs trying to make a quick buck. If he didn't think that he wouldn't try to fight them.
As they approach Zach he asks them,
.Who's your boss?.
They don't answer and keep advancing, some split off to try block exits for his escape.
Because there are no cameras or people around Zach feels pretty confident in being able to win this fight. But Zach wants to try without using his tail, just in case he can't use it due to some circumstance.
