If cultivation is already outstanding, imagine mixing some modern science stuff in the mix? Everything can be done in the pursuit of one's Truth, and even the Old God shall fall in the face of the Ultimate Truth!

“The science you see is not the science this universe knows.”

"They call themselves Earthlings. Humans have lived in a world of magic with no way to harness those forces except by the occasional mutated or half-breed, those that can trace their roots to one or more of the Pantheons. 

"Their history has scattered instances of strong individuals that have been able to fumble some truths about magic and gained a few abilities. But these individuals were rare and often persecuted and destroyed for their achievements.

"They actually burned some of those with the strongest magics alive.  Or consigned them to the torturers to be tormented into falsely confessing associations with demons and Princes of Hell.

"Somewhere, in their evolutionary history, the constraints and ties of magic that all life-forms are born with were sundered, and they were forced to adapt and progress by using other means.  They learned to rely on their intellect and invented tools and machines that allowed them to claim dominion over the earth and oceans.

"Even though they turned to science and technology for survival, their history is rife with superstition, myth, and Gods. The Sidhe, Olympians, Asgardians. We are all part of the collective conscience of this planet. 

"But our true natures are long forgotten.  We have become simply stories. Initially used to explain the meaning and working of nature, we have been mostly forgotten and relegated to the dustbin of history.

"They clawed their ways out of caves and down from trees, learned to walk upright, and claimed their planet using their intelligence and perseverance. They built wondrous tools and frightening weapons. They are as adept with machinery as we are at magic.

"CERN, the Dungeon, is a culmination of their current technological achievements. They have advanced the science of physics and matter exponentially, as they try to understand the very nature of the cosmos and the secrets behind creation. 

"In their hubris, they seek to understand how the Universe was created, and the Cosmological Laws and Constants that regulate all of creation.

"Their tinkerers and researchers have managed to measure the heft and weight of the Universe. They know that certain matter and energy.  Matter they have labeled as dark energy.  They have proven it exists. To them, this dark energy is nothing more than fleeting scientific curiosity.  But their curiosity is legion, and they would understand the whys. 

"For us. Dark matter is the very building block of creation. It is composed of God particles and infused with the energy of magic.

"They have no way to harness these energies. Their bodies unsuited to channel magic or God particles. But they are clever. And the possibility of them inventing the machine to do what their bodies can't is beyond possible, it is almost a guarantee at this point," Knight Blair explained.

"These mortals are working to unlock the very secrets and usurp the powers of the Universal Entities that breathed life and commanded the multi-verse to be," she explained. 

"They have managed to harness the power of their intellect to adapt and overcome their environment using science and technology instead of magic. To walk on the moon. To explore their solar system. And to create communication relays that rely on frequencies that confound the restrictions placed on Portals.

"Their brightest minds have posited that there is a grand mathematical structure that is fundamental to the Universe, and if they can unravel the secrets of this formula, they will finally have dominion over not only the world around them but the entire Universe. 

"A unifying string theory of numbers and math that would explain creation, energy, and matter in a simple formula of understanding and truth.

"They harness the powers of nature, destroying everything in their path. Their weapons are so fearsome they can destroy the very world they stand on, and still, they yearn and search for more. More power, bigger explosions, more territory.

"They use ideology and religion to exculpate their evils. They believe they have been given a mandate from the one true God.  A God that has given them dominion and free-will. They are Lord of all they touch. Primacy and dominion over the land and seas. And this dominion gives them the right to destroy, pillage, or change nature as they see fit.

"Duchess Wynne discovered that they had created a monstrous machine that would force the smallest of particles, quarks, to collide. They hoped these collisions would help them understand and grasp the nature of matter. So that they could understand and dissect these particles to find even smaller components.

"The Collider and the experiments that were done using this machine are producing the God particles in mass. Collisions that release momentous amounts of energy.  Duchess Wynne believes they are perilously close to replicating the circumstances that existed before the Universe existed. 

"The collision of matter and energy that was set in motion when the Gods willed the Universe to be. Another bang that will ignite a flame that will be the impetus in the formation of a new Universe.  They would supplant what is and allow a new Universe to be born."

"Why would Haygan keep this to himself?" I wondered. "The potential for destruction is staggering." 

I knew what the Hadron Collider was. That people on Earth had at one time been worried that the machine would accidentally open a black hole and destroy the planet. It seems they were thinking too small. Those energies could result in a Universal Big Bang as dark matter and energy were converted and given corporeal form.

"Because he was promised something much larger than any financial reward," Blair replied.

"Lord Kel and Lady Patricia had another set of backers. Those powerful enough and with the ability to display that power. They had to make fierce Oaths of reciprocity with the Olympians, but in exchange for access to the people from this Dungeon, they would be given Godhood. 

"In this Universe, the path to Godhood is long and arduous.  System participation is required that allows an individual to ascend methodically.  Level increases and Ranked evolutions requiring ever-increasing amounts of experience. 

"But if this gift were to be consumed in the Dungeon CERN?" Blair suggested.  "Another world, ripe with God particles and magical energies?  One not bound by the strictures of System?"

"They could Rank-up and bypass System requirements," I concluded.

"A gift of ambrosia would be awarded, paired with the God particles it would allow for immediate ascendance.

"Yes. 

"They would become true Gods. And the Rank would translate when they came back to this Universe. 

"Or at least that is what they thought. 

"It didn't work out as expected. The ambrosia could not be carried into the dungeon, each sample was destroyed when they made the crossing into the Dungeon. The magic forces on that planet were so dense that the ambrosia was consumed immediately.

"They were about to give up when two humans accidentally crossed the portal exit and entered our world. Two scientists. A Doctor of Computer Science and a Doctor of Physics.

"Duchess Wynne examined the process and concluded that their communication device was the rationale behind their trans-location. These devices are designed to harness Wi-Fi energies. These radio frequencies disrupt the protocols that exist and allow easy crossover. As long as someone is holding a device that is Wi-Fi enabled and active, they can transition.

"An even more interesting phenomenon was discovered soon after. They have Wi-Fi capable computer technology as advanced in its own way as our magically assisted intelligence devices. The most interesting discovery for this technology was that it was also able to access System directly," she proclaimed dramatically.

"So, System Errors? The hacks, inconsistencies, and discrepancies that people have been noticing concerning System have been attempts to re-program System using this Wi-Fi technology?" I asked.

"Exactly!" She replied.

"The technology allowed them to insert what they labeled viruses into System.  It gave them back-channel access and Administrative credentials. 

"There have been some problems that were immediately discovered. If the changes to System were too extreme, the System would take action to isolate and quarantine the issue.  Eventually, they were able to find a few workarounds for some of the thorniest problems.

"The Doctor of Computer Sciences is skilled in System programming. He was able to introduce a virus that forced the System to ignore some of the changes being made. Small nudges that resulted in negative consequences for targeted individuals. Changes to System logs and broadcast access to hide and camouflage some of the obvious violations.  And Seelie and Unseelie restrictions.

"Contraband and people traveling back and forth between the Inter-planetary Portals the Capital controls were cloaked in System approved quests.

"But it was the Physicist's knowledge of Wi-Fi that allowed for the real advances. We found the same restrictions that were lifted when using Portals to leave the dungeon, also allowed Olympians and Asgardians to enter the Summerlands."

"And that is how they managed to kidnap and attack me once they transported me to the Summerlands," I said.  "It had always bothered me, not knowing how they came  to gain access and enter those lands."

"Why were we told Duchess Wynne has been enslaved in the Dungeon? It sounds like she was a full-throated member of this idiocy." I asked. "And where are these Doctors now?  Are they being held?"

"Duchess Wynne has a daughter, an only child. Her life is contingent on the behavior and actions of the Duchess. If she and her people remain in the Dungeon. If they learn the methodology of science and the engineering required to build a Hadron Collider. Her daughter lives.

"They want to build their own Hadron Collider?" I asked in disbelief.

"If they can replicate the God Particle emissions on one of their primary planets, they would circumvent the destruction of Ambrosia when crossing into the dungeon.  There may exist the possibility of evolving into Gods so powerful that the System itself becomes their tool. They would do anything. Risk anything for that."

"The other Pantheons would never stand for it," Uron declared.

"Their actions would free the Sidhe Gods," Cedric added. "It would be a war on a cosmic scale."

They might get away with it if System were the final arbiter and could be programmed to influence action in their favor. And if System was the final arbitrator of what is and what would be.  But this was simply one Universe amongst an infinite array. S-Prime would never allow it. 
Which explained much. 

Why I felt S-Prime had rushed my creation process. Why It intervened when the Gwyn avatar attempted to penalize me, and the System errors became so egregious that a Universal Reboot was required.  Why I felt manipulated and conscripted for a goal that S-Prime had never shared with me.

"Where are these Doctors being held?" I asked again.

"They have been moved off-planet," she replied. "Perhaps Lord Kel or Lord Haygan knew exactly where, I am uncertain. All I do know is they used the inter-planetary portal in the Capital to transition to one of the planets the Olympians hold sovereignty over.

"And Duchess Wynne's daughter?" I prodded.

"Dead," she answered quickly, no dissemination or equivocation as she responded. "She was slain almost as soon as she was claimed as a hostage. An attempt at escape gone wrong. Lord Haygan has used illusion and mental domain to replicate the image of the daughter. A doppelganger that has been used as leverage to tie the hands of the Duchess."

"How is information transmitted out of the Dungeon?" Lord Nelson asked.

"Duchess Wynne has claimed the land nearby, with the Collider as the epicenter. She's created a faux faerie mound Underhill, a Sithern. Using passages that she has created, a network of tunnels, she can monitor and spy on communications among the scientists and gather test results and methodology.
 
"The Underhill opens near the concentric circle that empowers the Dungeon portal and is easily accessible for her and her people.  She sends messengers with materials, machinery, and reports periodically," Blair explained.

"Have Lord Kel or Lord Haygan done any risk assessment? Or were they so blinded by greed they ignored all dangers?" Blayney asked.

"There are safety measures in place, in the event, a cataclysmic incident occurs. The Dungeon portal opening has been seeded with destruction arrays and monitoring devices. If the emissions that escape the Dungeon exceed a specific threshold, the arrays have been programmed to activate and shut down the Dungeon portal. Closing off access to that world forever," she said.

"We should get Duchess Wynne and her people out of there and at least secure the entrance now," Blayney suggested.

I agreed. I was pretty sure the Collider was essentially safe, but unlike the Olympians, I wasn't willing to play 'chicken' when two-worlds were at stake. Still, there were politics to consider. I was going to act, but I thought it diplomatic to allow the Duke to report to the Seelie Monarchy first.

I had some reservations about trusting in diplomacy, convinced that the Seelie would want to control and harvest their own specialists from the dungeon before closing or isolating it. 
I knew the lure of Godhood was powerful. 

No matter.  I was going to get the Duchess and her people out and close that Dungeon, the only question was whether I would do so with or without official permission.

Death is not the end.  But actions do have consequences and based on how you lived your life, second chances are possible.  

I was given a second chance.  I could choose how to reincarnate, who to be, and what Universal constants would impact my next life. 

Who wouldn't try to game the system and take all the advantages possible?

And when I learned that creatures of mythology, the ancient Gods; Olympians, Asgardians, Sidhe, lived and ruled, how could I resist?

This is a slice of life type novel that deals with RPG elements including System, Leveling, Politics, Transmigration, and Killing.

Know that the Main Character may experience setbacks and 'nerfs' as part of the narrative.  An MC that always wins is boring!

Zhang Lisheng's words made Katherine's perplexed expression deepened. Just as she was about to ask again, he saw the black-haired young man raised his right hand and gently placed it on the wooden window glass.
At the moment when the young man's finger touched the glass, the raindrops trickled promptly on the old wooden window which seemed to be slightly shaken by some mysterious fluctuations, before finally being spread out.
However, everything returned to its original state right away, the peculiarity that had taken place just now seemed to be just like a hallucination. However, the ripples began to gush and appear on the bloody red water puddle on the street.
As time flowed by, the water ripples became more and more turbulent, before finally breaking the thick concrete ground to form a gushing spring together with gravels and stones.
A few more seconds later, the muddy spiring spouting more fiercely into the sky suddenly erupted. Several dozens of ferocious creatures that looked like Cyclops in Western myths were born out of it.
"W-What's that?" Discerningly felt that the appearance of these pale red mud giants should have something to do with this black-haired young man beside her who claimed to be the 'God's messenger', Katherine asked with a slight tremor in her voice.
Zhang Lisheng did not immediately answer the girl's question but continued to stare out of the window watching his mud and water creation to charge fiercely into the swaying undead zombies, smashing them into puddles of meat or tearing them in half directly. After massacring them cleanly, he began to wantonly attack all the creatures in the one-eyed giants' sight, as a relaxed smiled appeared on his face.
"So many people have been killed but nobody has come to interfere at all after so long. Good! Very good!" He muttered and turned to the girl next to him. "Katherine, the one-eyed dirt giants are summoned by me using the divine power bestowed by His Majesty Wizard Li. Those pseudo gods can already grant their believers with black magic so how is it possible for a true god to not have such an ability? You must know that spreading faith is not only about grasping the grace of kindness, but to also hold on to the sharp 'war sword' in your hand even more tightly. And right now, I'll give you this 'war sword' of yours."
As the young man was speaking, he slowly and sacredly placed his hands that were revolving with four brilliance of khaki, aqua blue, crimson red, and light green color onto the head of the stunned girl. Caressing her beautiful hair, he sang loudly, "Oh Katherine Panna, shepherd of Wizard Li God in the mortal world. I came because of your piety and is here to bestow you with the favor of God. The God grants you this ability. From now on, water will flow and gush according to your wish…"
As Zhang Lisheng's soothing chanting fluttered in the house, all sorts of images of the vast ground, raging ocean, monsters that were constantly changing their appearances, and sky tumbling with wind began to slowly appear around Katherine.
The reason such a magnificent phenomenon could appear during the bestowal of the high priest's ability to cast divine power was partially because of a small trick used by the young man, with the intention to strengthen the belief of his small number of poor Earth believers.
However, the main reason was because it was impossible for Zhang Lisheng to always rely on the power of faith in Shrimp World No. 2 to cross the world's barrier to grant his believers the ability of spellcasting so he could only rely on the faith offered by his 100 of believers and his own divine power.
Even so, the young man did not want to split too much of his own power to bestow his believer in this crisis-ridden Earth. Not only that, but he also planned to leave the Earth to go to Noah World so after some repeated contemplation, he decided to bestow Katherine the ability of spellcasting not dully according to the priest rank in the Shrimp World No. 1. Instead, he granted her the strongest possible magic ability he could bestow without using his own divine power.
Originally, with the power of faith provided by just 100 believers, it would have been impossible for Zhang Lisheng to create a powerful high priest even if he did not use it discreetly. However, to his surprise, when he was bestowing Katherine the ability of spellcasting, he suddenly realized that the power of faith that he could use was actually ten million times more than he had expected, causing the deliberately created phenomenon to be magnified as well.
"H-How is this possible? There's obviously no tear in the space so how can I use the power of faith fathered in the Green Leaf Mainland?" Under the stare of horror and awe of the believers in the house, Zhang Lisheng suppressed his surprise with force and soon, he noticed that the extra power of faith actually came from the Leather World tied at his own waist.
The opportunity had arrived. When the young man's eyes fell on the Leather World, a lightbulb went off in his head as he remembered the legends of the ancient gods, who innately rose above the ordinary without relying on the worshipping of believers and that would not have their power weakened by any 'world'.
Abruptly, Zhang Lisheng realized that he, who could be said as having inherited the legacy of three ancient gods, and the Leather World tied at his waist, that was a complete natural space constituted by four elements of earth, water, wind, and fire after gathering them with great difficulty and could accommodate ordinary creatures with indomitable lives, were completely poles apart from the ordinary gods that could only accept the soul of dead devout believers in their divine kingdom. 
"Maybe this is not a divine kingdom but a 'world' just like its name. A 'world' that was born from nothing by me that can be used as a 'transit station' to fuse all the land of faith shrouded by my belief…" Zhang Lisheng untied and unfolded the Leather World. Looking at the miniature map patterns that were getting more and more vivid on the scales, he no longer could suppress the ecstasy in his heart and growled in a low voice.
That unwitting voice that was filled with profound power was intimidating, causing all of the Wizard Li believers, except for Katherine who was still in a confused state of mind for having just bestowed with the high priest's spellcasting ability, to feel weak in their knees and prompting them to kneel on the floor at once.
When the power of faith was not being drawn out, the Leather World was just like a scroll of strange leather painting without any abnormality and would never attract the attention of Zhang Lisheng, who had gone through countless of great sorrows and joys, for too long.
Very soon, the young man snapped back to his senses and rolled it up again before tying it to his waist. Meanwhile, Katherine also woke up from her daze.
Glancing at the girl who was still in an absent-minded state, Zhang Lisheng smiled and said, "Congratulations, Katherine, you've become the high priest of His Majesty Wizard Li, from a mortal person to becoming a 'superhero' who masters supernatural power."
"I-I can feel a powerful energy flowing in my body! B-But this is just too incredible! Sir God's Messenger, t-this is impossible. It's not scientific at all…" Katherine's eyes were wide as she blurted out.
Due to the reason that the Leather World had accidentally acted as a transit point for the Wizard Li God's power of faith from the foreign world, the girl managed to obtain the spellcasting ability of the sixth rank, which was also the highest priesthood rank of the Wizard Li priest. There were only more than ten people among the millions of priests in the Shrimp World No. 2's Green Leaf Mainland who could stand shoulder by shoulder with her.
At this moment, she could already manipulate water, earth, wind and the power of distorting evolution with great ease. She could also use a mixture of water and earth power, with a power sufficient enough to control a war with a scale of 10,000 people. Not only that, the amount of fatty protein she could produce using divine power with her entire strength would be enough to fill the tummy of hundreds of thousands of people. 
Unfortunately, due to the lack of real awareness, she still looked as weak as an ordinary girl.
This was because although Katherine had witnessed the outbreak of many supernatural forces with her own eyes after the war, and also imagined that one day the god would bestow this power to herself, the systematic science education that she received since young made her subconsciously repel strange supernatural power and gods, despite the fact that she used to be a devout Christian before this. Because of this, she instinctively did not recognize the superhuman ability she had acquired.
"Unscientific…" Upon seeing the daze in the girl's eyes, Zhang Lisheng pondered in silence for a moment before flashing a gentle smile, "Katherine, did you know that Newton was also a religious man?"
Isaac Newton, the most famous and great physicist, in the 17th-century England, or the entire world to be more exact, had many nicknames, such as the person who defined gravity and three laws of motions, the founder of modern engineering, the discoverer of calculus, and so on, still had a fame greater than that of any living celebrity even 300 years later.
Upon hearing the young man bringing up this widely known scientific great master, the girl was stunned for a while. Greatly confounded, she replied, "How is that possible for a great scientist like her to believe in gods too?"
"Let me tell you an interesting story, Katherine," The young man maintained his gentle expression and began to talk eloquently as he gave guidance in a skillful and systematic manner, "Many people had the same doubts as you had when Newton was still alive, especially his scientist friends who advocated science and spurned theology even felt that a great physicist like Newtown having a religion was a stain that cannot be ignored in the entire 'academic community'. For this reason, they always tried to wake him and talk senses into him. One day, one of Sir Newton's best friends, astronomer Dudley, suddenly had an inspiration and made an exquisite model of the universe. He was extremely satisfied with this masterpiece of his life, so one day, he could not help but bring it to show it off at a dinner party. All the guests at the dinner expressed their admiration for this exquisite model, even Newton was no exception. So, Dudley persuaded Newton in front of everyone and said, 'My good friend, Isaac, look how big this vast universe is. Earth is only one of the negligible dots right here. Stop holding superstitious beliefs about gods. You're a great scientist and you should know that only science can unlock the mysteries of the universe, isn't it?' And, can you guess what Newton answered him?"
"I don't know." The girl became unknowingly absorbed by the story and shook her head.
"Newton pointed to the model and said, 'Dear Dudley, of course, I know that for humans, only science can explain the mysteries of the universe but even this exquisite model was made by you, so how is it possible for the universe composed of billions of stars above us that are affecting and drawing upon each other running in endless complex orbits be formed naturally?'"
When Katherine heard this answer, she was immediately startled. Falling into a deep contemplation, she was rendered speechless for a long time.
Zhang Lisheng continued to say in a bewitching voice, "There are a thousand of Hamlet in the eyes of a thousand people. Katherine, you can find a thousand reasons to believe in God, and you can also find a thousand reasons to not believe in Him. The so-called 'piety' is to throw away all foreign interference and ask yourself, deep in your heart, whether you're sincerely willing to be blessed by the God and offer your own faith?"
Katherine lowered her head concealing her expressions and became silent for a few minutes. Finally, she gradually replied, "Yes, I'm willing to do so."
The instant her words left her mouth, the young man could sense that faith in herself had become flawless and extremely pure. 


A young man from the Miaowei Tribe brought up by his strict father, suddenly turned into Rank 1 Wizard on the day he was orphaned. He then obtained the ability to control giant worms. 
Soon after, he found his mother who was in a faraway foreign land by accident. From a small mountain village, he managed to jump into the amazing arena that was a global metropolis.
Thus far, we have a young man who inherited the legacy of mastering ancient demons from an ancient country.

3 Weeks Later

I wake up at Candy's.  I'm alone, she's out.  I rustle up some breakfast.  All the food is healthy, which is annoying, but it suffices to sustain life.  She's offered to change my preferences in food.  No thanks.

I go to her lab.  It's used mostly for hypnosis, and looks like a recording studio had a baby with a bordello.  I fire up her hypnoclone and overlap my lab from home.  I study God Machine.  I don't know if it's working.  

Doc-Danger got it into space by "using math".  Which could mean anything from home rocketry to blackmail.  We've tested it with impossible questions and really hard questions.  It excels at the hard questions, giving solutions instantly.  It has failed to answer any impossible questions.  The satellites could be too close together.  It's ability to solve problems is proportional to how random a number it can generate, which is proportional to how far apart the two satellites are.  It's possible that moving the satellites farther apart will allow it to answer impossible questions.  It's also possible that answering impossible questions is impossible.

The satellites drifted another kilometer apart last night.  I upload a suite of test questions and watch it beaver away.  I like watching it work, cause i'm a colossal geek, but after 5 minutes even I get twitchy.  I turn on Mr. President.

He's supposed to be meeting his economists about the jobs crisis.  He's sitting in a bar.  The Darkness is with him.  There is a handful of security, bar staff, and drinkers present.  They are going about their business quietly.  It's clear Mr. President came here for some peace.  

He drinks for a while, then begins to speak.

"I'm going to give the country a goal.  We're drifting.  I've been promising an easier life, but people need hard work.  They need purpose.  We're giving tax breaks to people we're losing to debt, depression, and diabetes.  People need help, and they need something to do.  So, fuck it, let's help each other.  But, like, in an organized way." says Mr. President.

"Communism?" asks the Darkness.

"No.  A mission statement.  Everybody can do whatever they want.  Including work on the mission." says Mr. President.

"What's the mission?" asks the Darkness.

"A future where everyone is powerful.  Like Superman powerful." says Mr. President.  "We'll use that goal as a lodestone, and let the people science the shit out of it." 

"Sounds like nobody's getting paid?  That's convenient." says the Darkness.

"In an age of abundance, ownership is meaningless.  Money less so.  Pretending it isn't happening won't stop it.  May as well go with it." says Mr. President.

They drink for a bit.

"You're unusually quiet." says Mr. President.  "Hit me with the heavy stuff."

I jump.  I'm shocked - Doc-Danger's here!  Virtually here, but still.  He has full access to my feed, one of two people who can tune in at any time.  But, he has always adhered to a rigid schedule - Monday to Thursday.  Never Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.  He's so unexpected, it's disorientating.  I actually check the date, even though I know it's Saturday.

"So, we're probably living in a hologram." He's drunk.

"Cool."  I say, and crack a beer.

"All the information of a 3D hologram is contained in a 2D image.  Using string theory you can describe the entire universe in 2 dimensions.  It's increasingly likely that the universe is made only of only 2 dimensional information, and that mass, energy, and time are only useful delusions."

"Yes, I'm familiar with the Holographic Principle."  I'm drinking fast, catching up.

"I thought if I could get to this information, I could change reality.  But, now… I don't."

He's not happy.  His math is troubling him.

"Dude, if we're really just information, we don't need to edit the information to change reality.  We just need to see it.  The real universe, the real us.  That should give us enough power to go fucking crazy."

He smiles.

"I love you."  he says.

"I'm glad."  I say.

We chat for a bit.  I have to run errands, I'm hungry.  I ask him to come with me.  He gets up and walks with me.  Hmm… I wonder where he's going in real life.

We wander through the city.  We smoke and drink and eat and laugh.  We stop by a large ad screen, and get distracted by the girls booty dancing on it.

"I can totally see why people join dance troupes." says Doc-Danger

"They do look like they're having fun." I say.

"I want to have fun.  Excuse me a moment." says Doc-Danger.

He adjusts his avatar and jumps into the screen.  He gets about half the moves right, and flubs through the rest with booty wiggling intensity.  It's the best thing I've ever seen.

He pops out of the screen to a few cheers.  I hold out my hat, and some kids throw money in it.  I think they're doing it ironically, but it'll buy me drugs just the same.

We stumble along, joking about the ads everywhere.  I block ads on the internet, I kinda forgot about them.  

"It's not men's fashion unless it makes Steve Buscemi look better." I say.

"Really?" asks Doc-Danger.

"Yep.  Suit, fashion.  Man bun, not fashion.  It's that simple." I say.

"What about a kimono?" he asks.

"I dunno.  Let's mail him one, and ask for pics." I say.

"Okey-dokey."

"What do you think of Mr. President's plan?" I ask.

He shrugs "We all have the same problems.  Makes sense to work together." he says.  "We were doing that anyway, with capitalism and the scientific method.  It was working pretty good, until capitalism solved the scarcity problem that created it."  says Doc-Danger.

"So, what now?  We post a wishlist for humanity on Wikipedia, and everybody pours sweat on what they want most?" I say.

"I've heard worse ideas.  We should be publishing new science directly to Wikipedia anyway.  They could peer review as well as anybody, and the science would end up where we could read it." he says.

"Ha!  Imagine picking a problem on Wikipedia, and it lays out a fast-track curriculum so you can start helping." I say.  "Like, science helping, not busy work."

"Well heck, that's the human race's problems all sorted.  I guess I'll go back to being crushed under my own, much smaller, problems." says Doc-Danger.

I laugh and drink more beer.

"What are you going to do with the God Machine if we can get it to work?" I ask.

"Holy shit!  Will you look at that!" says Doc-Danger.  He sends me a link to view his feed.  I invert my feed to see what he's looking at.

It's a big fucking tree.  A huge evergreen.  It's rimed with frost.  Above it, the Milky Way stretches to the heavens.  Billions of stars are visible.  He must be far, far from any man-made light.  The frost and the stars twinkle.  It's otherworldly and beautiful.

I look at him through his live feed.  He looks just like his avatar.  Worn down, but strong.  Pretty rough, but fucking beautiful.

We make love.

After my spur of confusion ended, I was ready to ask more questions, so many more. Although I was stopped right there by the old man. He simply said, " I can't help you because the sole fact that you now understand that you have elevated to the status of god has made whatever you think the answer be for your situation in the universe, be the answer, why does green look like it does? If you asked me that and believed it was because trees were green and they decided so, then that would be the sole reason in your universe, so I can no longer answer any questions related to your powers from here. I sat there blank-faced, from what I've gained, if I think it, then it's true, a simple fact of the universe doesn't that seem a bit too overly powered. Although that's when it hit me, the whole thing about being a god is, there is no over the top power, you are the eternal definition of ultimate power and can therefore never go over the thresh hold, so I guess I'm just, the ultimate being, or the second one at least. 

So I had to ask, " Does that mean everything I believe can change the universe we're in? ", and the old man laughed, simply laughed. He then said to me as straight as can be but with a sly smile, " Of course not! I made the damn thing, why would you have the power to alter it? Sure I cant kill you but you can't kill me either! Same difference with our universes, if I came to your id just be a ghost, sure I have the power to never die, but it's not like I can interact with anything! ". That's when it hit me, his universe? Does that mean I have my own? Then I realized, of course, I do, I just have to believe I have my own.

So before I set out, I, of course, didn't forget my manners and said to the old man, " Well then, it seems I have work to do, I will be seeing you then. ". The old man smiled at me and waved, while I just closed my eyes and thought of being in my own universe. That's when I opened them back up, to see complete darkness, not a single atom insight. So I set out, I was going to make a new world, who needs the boring science of the past, while I may incorporate some of the base creations like particles and the such, I want more, I was so bored of the mundane life of humans now that I think back on it, why dont I just make something that I enjoy? That's when I began, I set out to make a whole new universe, just out of boredom maybe, maybe out of my immense excitement, but I didn't care, for, either way, I was going to make a universe, who cares the reason why I was too addicted to the idea of playing god than to question my own sense of emotional instability in the face of ultimate power.

A man who became a god, for he had gained Karma through helping hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people through the largest donation fund of the Twenty-First Century. He was known as a saint to many, while not officially a saint, he was acknowledged by the pope as a good man while he was alive, and couldn't be deemed a saint after death, for he had descendants, but sadly he didn't spends much time with them for he was always busy helping others. With his death, many in the living world mourned, while he himself, was more confused than anyone.

Regarding the Sperm Theory, Mu Huishou had heard of it many times. For the first few times he heard about it, the Bureau Chief did not explain it in detail. As a result, he was not that interested to learn about it. 
However, the theory was mentioned today again. Additionally, it had an obvious relation to Hong Dali. As a result, this time, Mu Huishou could not refrain himself and disregarded the presence of the several distinguished guests next to him. He urgently asked about the theory. Besides, he was in an area absent of others and figured that the distinguished guests around him would not stoop to his level.

Evidently, the things that occurred next involved many supernatural theories and phenomena. The Bureau Chief slowly said, "To put it in simpler terms, the Sperm Theory is related to the knowledge we have about the universe." 
"Huishou, let me tell you an analogy." The Bureau Chief paused, coughed once, then continued, "For example, every sperm is equivalent to an intelligent independent body. After a man discharges his sperm into a condom, how big will the scientist within the sperm think the universe to be?" 
"This…" Mu Huishou's mouth was agape and tongue-tied after hearing that, before replying, "This analogy is so mystical. Talking about that, regarding that scientist within the sperm, he will probably think that the universe is as big as the condom…"

"This…" Mu Huishou gave it a thought before finally coming to a realization. "Bureau Chief, what you mean is that my outlook is still insufficient and short-sighted. To us, the scientist within the sperm might seem correct. However, to the living organisms beyond the house and condom, it might not seem right?" 
"Hehe, you are pretty good." The Bureau Chief laughed. "Currently, scientists have mentioned many hypotheses regarding the universe. They include wormholes, parallel universes, and many others. Perhaps, with the current technology, we might not be able to attain it and our outlook might not become wider. However, it does not indicate that these hypotheses are indefinitely wrong. Take Hong Dali's supreme luck and the curse invoked by the Angel of Misfortune as examples. To put it in simpler terms, these are all existent, just lacking in scientific explanations as luck or misfortune are things that cannot be seen or physically touched. However, they do exist in reality. Hence, we ultimately think that in the universe, we are the sole planet that is lucky enough to be able to support life? Hehe, I believe otherwise." 
"This…" Mu Huishou said in astonishment, "Isn't this is way too surprising?"

If we include our own Milky Way, it would constitute the total galaxy—representing the current boundaries of the universe explored and encountered by humans. However, the universe itself is infinite and constantly undergoing expansion. As a result, there should exist infinite extraterrestrial stars that are still unknown to us. Till today, there exists no number that accurately accounts for all the stars that exist in the universe. Some say that more than 800 billion stars exist while others say that more than 1000 billion stars exist, even some believe there are 1000 to 2000 billion stars in the universe." 
At this juncture, the mysterious man replied, "Even if our planet is one among trillions of planets that is able to support life, if we multiply two thousand billion galaxies by two thousand billion stars and do a calculation based on the number of galaxies in the universe, how many planets are suitable to support life?"

After what felt like an explosion in the emptiness of nothingness, which could neither be seen as a light source did not exist in this newly made universe nor could it be heard as there were no medium for sound to travel through.

But to all those beings who have transcendent such mortal limits and have the chance to observe such view can only sigh in amazement and think how new life might develop and bring some colour to their life, which they eagerly seek.

As a rule of progenitor, it's forbidden to interfere in the matters of universe who harbours the potential to maintain life until a being who transcends the universe limit origin from it. But all of this doesn't matter for Ryner, as in the infinite multiverse there already exists infinite universes with uncountable number of them being created and destroyed at the exact same time, so for a transcendent being getting involved in such matter might interest them in start but get repetitive and boring later on and for a rogue transcendent to do such things was neigh impossible as it would be stopped by progenitor forces.

I was able to see a universe being born with my very own eyes, just next to me and see it's law engulfing both me and Flora into its space and time. I don't know why but I have a strange feeling that I was able to know all of this because of my power but the system from progenitor just made the process a lot faster, I also got the feeling that I could do anything here whether it be changing time , gravitational force or naturals laws but seem to blocked by something. I made a mental note to control power of creation with my own ability instead of the system.

But I noticed that I was in space instead of reincarnating or getting transferred to a time when life would become suitable. Confused I asked Flora about the situation, "Flora why aren't we travelling to a suitable planet and time for my test? "

<<<NEW UNIVERSE (NAME YET TO GIVEN): AFTER RYNER'S TEST BEGAN (THIRD PERSON POV)>>

Moments after the universe began or what Ryner's earth people called big bang the fundamentals particles and forces of the universe come together to form protons, neutrons, electrons and light particle. But with it began Ryner's journey.

In the first few year, Ryner began study and understanding of his power, resolved to not take the help of the system. Although he was able to use it from the start but there was a time lag between the activation and result. Few hundred years passed like that. Ryner was even able to create matter, dark matter and even energy itself. Which confused the hell out of him for he was aware that he destroyed laws of thermodynamics.

Ryner was able to create planets, solar systems and even galaxies. Perhaps not coming in contact for any other person than Flora has taken a toll him for he tried to create a universe but was fortunately stopped by Flora otherwise which would have resulted in the current universe being destroyed.

Ryner then began his studies of science, because of breaking one of its fundamental rules he decided to use his previous world knowledge just as a reference and not as absolute truth. It took him around two million years to reach the level of modern technology of his past universe. During this time whenever he made a successful technological breakthrough, he would award himself by reliving
in an illusion of his previous life, preventing him from forgetting about Ella and Emma, his mother. He decided to do that when he started thinking in the world only, he, Flora and matter existed.

During this time, he was also visited by the progenitor and some more people, but those were rare events, a kind of sweet candy in the bitterness of life. Sometimes at their meeting he even wanted to curse, beg them to let him free but strangely feeling like they were his family that created some complicated feelings and not wanting to embarrass himself he could only stop and listen to their words filled with motivation and affection towards him.

After some more years he created his first AI, that became his second companion in his what seemed like an endless journey, in few million years his AI was so developed not only it developed a perfect human personality but was able to compute simulations on a solar system level with hundred percent accuracy.

Ryner never feared his AI turning against him, for that was just scary fiction developed by humans of Earth and he had made her loyal to him. He even gave her the name, Eva, for she was the first the first of her kind and that name reminded him of an animated movie. But his journey to make Eva more perfect had just started.

It took a long time, a little more than hundred and fifty million years, but Ryner had made Eva so powerful that not only was she able to perfectly compute galaxies but billions of universes, simultaneously. Though a great number but it still could not be compared to the number of universes in the multiverse. 

It was around that time the Ryner and company was able to witness the first star of the universe being born. The universe which was dark had finally gave birth to light for the first time, slowly but surely accumulating the necessary condition for life. Although that solar system was not able to bear life, the recent activeness of the universe was great simulation for Ryner.

For passing time, sometimes he entered the core of the stars or took a ride along a rogue planet but he made sure to at least witness vastness of the universe and everything in it at least once. 

Although the universe had become more active, he still did not forget to continue his study. It took him around THREE BILLION years to complete what he called quintessential science, but when he checked with his powers if there were any errors in it, he only found it was eighty five percent was correct. He tried to rectify the errors but was able to correct only eight percent more. So, he decided to seal his memories of the incorrect part and research them again. At the start he also made mental locks to not just use his powers to gain the answers.

It took TWO BILLION and collectively FIVE BILLION years to complete the quintessential science. But Ryner realises that for anyone other than him, it would be impossible to do it. For only research of the biology aspect he had experimented on more people that can ever live throughout the universe lifetime. And as for transcendent they had no interest in things such as science. And as for the material aspect for the research part several universes would have to be dismantled.

But it come to an end In 10050.Noone know what happened and why it is happened, But  it is said there was a great war in which the geography of the world changed from universe and all gods and devils are fallen and earth become isolated again and  all the knowledge of the God power is declined or lost .So after the war there were many different dimensions which still remained open from there  many different living beings and monsters are started to appear on earth, But humanity still manged to live on with small remaining  amount of knowledge of God power .Now in this world  gods and devils are things of Legends even resources are declined or no one knows how to use them anymore.Current Callender had 30101 date on it.
