Mi Cha went to the public bus stop for taking the bus to go to her school. She did not wanted anyone to know that she was a billionaire businesswoman's daughter. She wanted to live a normal life. So she decided to take the public bus rather than her own Mercedes.
As soon as the bus came, she entered inside and some girls started to laugh at her. She felt very awkward and embarrassed. She knew the reason why the girls were laughing. It was because she was looking totally ugly and a geek. She used to wear big round spectacles, braces, she also used to put fake big and messy eyebrows and fake freckles and used to dress like someone without the sense of fashion because she didn't wanted anyone to recognise her as the top model-'Ziva'.
"I should better not mind these girls and sit somewhere" thought Mi Cha. Mi Cha saw a seat which was empty and sat there. "Hey you, whoever you are dressed as a giant preschooler, this is my seat. Better get off the bus and take another one." said a voice behind Mi Cha. Mi Cha politely replied, "there is no permanent seat at this bus as it is a public bus." "Who do you think you are? Get off my seat!" the rude girl shouted at Mi Cha.
Mi Cha, without uttering a single word went towards another seat which was empty. She felt totally humiliated. She controlled herself and tried to calm down as this was her very first day of school.
She got off her bus as soon as she reached her new school. She was very excited and wanted to make new friends but she was very shy and did not like to socialise much. She started walking towards her school. Changyu high school was one of the most famous school in the city. It had a very big campus full of students. When she reached the school building, she started searching for her class. She wasn't aware that a very handsome boy was running towards her. Mi Cha was searching for her class and didn't see the upcoming danger. The boy tripped and fell on Mi Cha.
"Ouch! It hurts, said Mi Cha as she got hurt on her knee. Her books fell off her hands and her glasses broke. "I'm extremely sorry. I couldn't see you there" said the handsome guy and helped her with the books.
"I am really sorry for your loss. I will pay you afterwards for your glasses. May I take you to the school nurse?" asked the guy. "No need of taking me there. I have a class. I need to go. I am not  much hurt. You don't need to pay for my glasses either. I'll get myself new ones" said Mi Cha angrily and went away searching for her class.
"What a bad day. This is my very first day of school and I get into all type of troubles" thought Mi Cha. She found her new classroom and entered inside.

"What are you doing to my sister, bastard!?" 

Both me and Rebecca look back with a jerk in response to the voice from behind.   

Standing at the doorway is a girl with a dangerous-looking kitchen knife in her hands.   

I look at her from top to bottom. Her hairs are long and blond like Rebecca but are tied up in twin tails. Her skin is fair and smooth. Her light green colored eyes are big and beautiful.  

Even her figure looks amazing above her simple blue knee-length skirt with moderate but shapely tits, slender waist, meaty ass, and plump thighs.   

And most importantly… I know this girl very well.   

"Aria!" I exclaim loudly in shock.   

"Jacob!?"   

Aria also notices me and the kitchen knife from her hands and her jaw, both drops at the same time.   

We both keep staring at each other like this for a few seconds as if we are frozen in place before Rebecca breaks the silence…  

"Y-You both know each other?" she asks, her voice still a bit shaky.  

Yes, I know Aria very well. In fact, she is one of my freaking classmates in school. And excluding Leo and Ryan, she is probably the person I have spoken to, the most in school.   

But well, unlike Leo and Ryan, Aria is not my friend… not even close.  

And the reason for that is; apart from being one of the most beautiful girls in school (not the reason), Aria is also the class monitor.   

Thus, being the one who stops every "rulebreakers" or "wrongdoers" of the class.   

And guess whom she catches the most in the class?   

Yeah, me.   

I am like the main target of her. Any time I bring a porn magazine or adult games in school to share with Ryan and Leo or to enjoy myself, she confiscates them instantly. Like, the moment I enter the class. It's as if she knows beforehand that I am going to bring them.   

And the worst part is, she only catches Leo and Ryan when they are about to lend me books from their own "private" collection.

Me and Rebecca speak at the same time.   

"What!?" Aria says looking genuinely confused all of a sudden.   

I can tell she didn't expect Rebecca to defend me.   

"B-But he is on top of you!" She exclaims loudly.   

"O-Oh, Jacob just fell on me…" Rebecca says with a nervous smile while lightly pushing me away.   

I quickly stand up and move away from Rebecca.   

"I-I am sorry. I tripped," I say while making my best apologetic face to Rebecca.   

"O-Oh, it's fine…" she tells me.   

We both smile at each other.  

"What the heck is happening here!?" Aria says loudly, looking bewildered.  

She bends down and picks up the kitchen knife before moving closer to the bed a little and speaking again.  

"Your eyes are clearly red from crying, sister! I even heard your yells and shouts! Why are you trying to defend him!? Is he blackmailing you?" she asks while pointing the knife at me.   

"N-No, he is not! And I am not defending him… It's just that I was… It's just that—"  

"Rebecca was tutoring me!" I say, suddenly getting an idea.   

""What!?""   

Rebecca and Aria both look at me in surprise.   

"I-I mean, yeah. I was tutoring Jacob. I-I was yelling at him because…err… he was doing badly. Yes! A-And my eyes are red because… err… something got into them earlier," Rebecca says.

"Tutoring him? TUTORING him!? I agree that Jacob's grades are really extremely bad but why is my sister tutoring him!? And where the hell did you both even meet for this tutoring to start!?" she asks.   

"W-Well, that is…"  

Rebecca doesn't seem to get any ideas. I need to think of something myself…   

"W-Well, we met at the… library! Yeah, two days ago in the library. And there, Rebecca solved some of my doubts. I-I liked the way she explained things to me so much that I asked if she could tutor me regularly and she said yes," I answer.   

I hope she believes this…   

But Aria is not looking at me anymore.   

"You were at the library!? Really!? But you never go to public places like that!" she says, her eyes filled with doubt and surprise.   

What? Rebecca doesn't go to public places? Why?  

"I-I was just passing by, so I decided to take a look in… after such a long time," Rebecca answers, rather uncomfortably.   

Aria still looks really doubtful but for some reason, she does not ask Rebecca why she decided to "take a look in".  

"… okay, that's fine. But when did he come inside the house!? I didn't hear any sound of doorbell! And wait for a second, where the hell are your books? You were studying, right!?" she asks.   

This time, I am lost for words but fortunately, Rebecca takes over.   

"I-I was in the garden when he came so, I took him inside. And I was teaching Jacob with your books so he didn't bring any…" Rebecca says while pointing at a small study table placed at the corner of the room, on top of which there are some of the course books lying.   

Wait, those books must be Aria's, then why are they in Rebecca's room?   

"Sister, Jacob is just—"  

Suddenly, Aria stops speaking and eyes open wide in shock. She looks at me with a jerk and stares as if seeing something alien or something.   

"H-How… are you doing this?" she asks me in a scared sort of way.   

What? What am I doing?   

"What do you mean by that? I am doing not doing anything…" I say.   

"H-How are you standing here?" she asks. Her voice is starting to shake now.   

Is she an idiot? I am standing because of my legs…   

I look at Rebecca, expecting to see her sighing because of her sister's question but to my surprise, she is also looking at me as if expecting an answer.   

"I don't get what you are asking…" I say in confusion.   

"Wait, don't tell you don't know…" Aria asks, looking even more surprise.   

This is just getting ridiculous.   

"Don't know about what!?" I ask, bit frustrated now.   

"Aria, he doesn't know…"   

Rebecca suddenly says before Aria can open her mouth again.   

"But sister, then how is he—"  

"Jacob…"  

Rebecca cuts in between Aria and addresses me with a serious look.   

"I need to tell you something… about my system."

Su-hyuk Jang, a producer with five years of experience, clicked his tongue in disapproval the moment he stepped into the meeting room. "Jaehyung!" he yelled, turning towards the youngest producer in the team. "I told you so many times to get this place cleaned up before I get here! It's like a damn barn in here!"
"Oh, another team just got done with their meeting, so..."
"Hey. Kiddo. Didn't I tell you to just get moving and not give me stupid excuses? Getting into weird habits, aren't we?"

Jang raised his hand towards the young producer, who cowered in fear and quickly dropped his head.

"I'm so sorry, sir."
"Get on with it then! Chop chop, get this place cleaned up!"

Jaehyung scurried over to the meeting table, frantically getting rid of all the used cups and stray pens and markers rolling all over the place. As he watched the young man work, Jang muttered to himself, wholly dissatisfied. Such laziness, and from the newbie of all people! How was he supposed to trust this boy with running errands? Huffing and puffing, Jang took his seat at the head of the table, followed by three writers. They each sat in their respective seats, sharing nervous glances between each other.

"A-Anyway, Ms. Kim!" one of the writers spoke up, attempting to lighten the mood. "What happened with that tip from the other day?"
"Nayeon went to check it out. Go on, tell us."

Nayeon promptly arranged some pictures on the table and began to explain.

"Have you all heard about the "reading boy"? He went viral a few months ago, and you can definitely tell why. He has this sort of... other worldly feel to him."
"Hmm. I'm not familiar," said Jang, scratching his head as he scrutinized the pictures.
"Oh, he's so cute!"
"I've seen him!" exclaimed the young producer. "I remember thinking he was really good-looking. Weirdly so, to be honest. Still, you can't stop looking at him."
"Huh. He must be pretty famous, if even Jaehyung knows about him."
"Yes, actually. His pictures were trending on quite a few search engines at the time. Anyway, the tip was about him. Oh, I have a picture from when I went to talk to him!"

Nayeon quickly tapped her tablet screen, searching and searching, as the others continued to admire the pictures on the table.

"Wow, look at him. He seems pretty photogenic, yeah?"
"Definitely. Guaranteed views right there."


Found it! Nayeon held up her tablet triumphantly. "Here! He shot an ad!" The picture on the screen was of a young boy sitting at a desk, intently reading a book. It was an ad for the public library, yes, but a sort of picturesque fantasy feeling emanated from the picture despite the modern props.

"He's a model?"
"Not professionally, but the picture that went viral was taken in this library. So they took this as an opportunity to advertise the public library in time for the fall exhibit, and had him be their model."
"Okay, that's enough backstory." Jang sighed as he waved his hand dismissively. "Tell me about the tip."
"Oh, of course. I spoke with his homeroom teacher first, to confirm the tip, and she claims that he's not like the other kids. All the other teachers know about him, too, so he's pretty well known in school. He's really good at math, and he's started to learn physics. Alone."
"Alone? He's self-taught?"
"Yes. Just like our tip said, he doesn't receive tutoring at school or at the institute. Spends most of his time at the library. I spoke to the institute as well, and apparently he borrows books from the older kids and reads those all day. Of course, no private tutor. The kid confirmed this."
"Reads books, huh...? What about tests?"
"I went ahead with the interview before giving him the test papers, but honestly, it was pretty easy to tell he's different."

With that, Nayeon recalled yesterday's events at Inpyeong Elementary.

The two sat across from each other in the counseling room.

"Oh, it's warm here," noted Nayeon. "I'd heard that schools had good air conditioning now, but I didn't think it'd be this good."

Lucid stared at her blankly, which made her laugh a bit. "Don't worry, I'm just talking to myself. Should we start off with some questions? First things first, what's your name?"

He told her.

"Did your parents name you?"
"No. From my understanding, the chairman of the institute I'm staying at came up with it."
"Oh, really? Well. It suits you. Anyway, I heard you like reading. Is that true?"
"Hmm... Yes, I suppose you could say that." Lucid answered rather hesitantly.
"Could you elaborate?"
"I think it's more accurate to say that I like reading books to study."

Had she heard him correctly? She wasn't exactly sure. First of all, where the hell had that answer come from? And second of all...

"I'm sorry, but you are in the first grade, correct?"
"Yes."

That was answer enough, but Nayeon still had to stop herself from asking his age.

"Alright, then. Could you explain the difference to me?"
"I think that reading and reading to study have different objectives. When I first came to school, I read everything I could get my hands on, because I liked to read. I read biographies and textbooks on math, science, grammar. My goal back then was to immerse myself in the books and marvel at the ideas in them. But now, my goal is to study. I'm reading books so I can understand their content and gain more knowledge. So, since there are two different goals, I think they should be seen as two different things."

Nayeon thought (or rather, knew) that further interviewing would be rather pointless. If a first grader was able to convey his thoughts with such eloquence and sound logic, didn't that automatically qualify him as a genius? This wasn't just a tip. This was a huge scoop.

"Well then," she continued, "what books have you been reading recently?"
"Physics, mainly. I'd like to learn more about physical phenomena. But I found out that you need to know a lot of math to understand physics. So I've been reading math books, too, but I'm not that good at it, so the physics books make little sense to me."
"How far along are you with math?"
"Just the four arithmetic equations. I think I understand linear equations well enough."

Was he really a first grader? He sounded more like a middle schooler.

"A first grader who knows linear equations?" Jang asked, interrupting Nayeon's recollection. "Are you sure he's in elementary? Not middle school?"

Nayeon cringed internally at the realization that she and Jang had thought the same thing, but powered through to continue her explanation.

"Yes, sir, yes. Anyway, we don't need to have a long meeting about this. With his looks and his brains, he's going to be a huge hit! I know it."

Jang turned around to look at Wang, one of the writers.

"Do you have a story in mind?"
"First, we need more information on his school life. Or even his life at the institute," Wang answered, twirling a pen between her fingers. "We'll include some more interviews, get his IQ tested, and ask a science high school or even a university to collab and get a professional evaluation. That good?"
"He's even more stunning in person, I guarantee it." Nayeon chimed in. "He doesn't look wholly Korean, but it's not like he looks like a foreigner, either. It's weird, but it works. You take one look and you know he's objectively really good-looking. My point is, the story doesn't matter! His face alone could bring in so many views!"
"Nayeon, sweetie. I admire your confidence, but his face is something the camera crew will take care of. We're writers."
"I'm just saying. There's nothing wrong with having something pretty to look at."

Jang ignored this whole exchange, instead turning to the younger producer to relay directions.
"Jaehyung, get the cameras ready. Ms. Wang, I trust you to come up with a good storyline and a solid schedule. Get back to me with both."
"How long?"
"We're not sure this'll work, so 20 minutes for now."

And with that, the meeting was over. As they left the room, one of the writers, Yunseon Jo, approached Nayeon.

"Was he really all that?" she asked.
"Oh my God!" Nayeon shouted. "You have no idea! Like, so much better than any child actor I've ever seen! I literally had to stop myself from hugging him, it was insane!"
"Look at you. You're totally gone. I saw it coming, with you going on and on about his face instead of focusing on a story. Are you into kids?"
"Hey! That's going way too far! I'm just saying, his face keeps popping up in my head..."

Smack!

A loud noise rang through the hallway as Yunseon slapped Nayeon's arm.
"That! That's going to far! Watch what you say, Nayeon. That's honestly going into lovesickness territory."

Nayeon rubbed her arm gingerly, but still looked like she had more to say. Thankfully, Wang stepped in just in time to stop her.

"That's enough. The producer told you already, but I'll remind you just in case. We're writers. We come up with a story for the program. The camera works on the looks. Or do you want a transfer?"
"Ms. Wang! Aww, that's so mean! I was born to be a writer, you know that!"

Nayeon tried her best to escape her situation, using her status as the youngest writer to act cute and innocent. It didn't exactly work, per se, but Wang still found it endearing enough. She invited her juniors to dinner, and the three took the elevator down.

Lucid, having reached middle school level mathematics, had gotten a new idea during class a few days ago and was now attempting a new type of magic. He found that the best thing to come out of this whole "prodigy" ordeal was that none of the teachers scolded him for not paying attention in class.

"Kyung-ho," Hee Yeon warned,"pay attention, sweetie."
"But plaster face...!"

Indeed, "plaster face" wasn't paying attention at all, but before Kyung-ho could point that out, Hee Yeon sighed and warned him again.

"Kyung-ho! You know better than you talk back to your elders, don't you?"
"Yes..." said the boy, his voice barely a whisper.
"I'll let it slide just this once, because I know you're usually a very good students who listens to what 
I say. But it's just this once! Next time I catch you doing something else, you'll have to be punished. Is that clear?"
"Yes..."

Hee Yeon knew that she was being rather unfair, but she pushed her guilt aside. Even during the slight commotion, Lucid appeared to have been lost in his own thoughts, but Hee Yeon was actually quite grateful for this. Though it had only carried on for a short while, the other children all rather enjoyed watching their teacher become increasingly flustered at Lucid's incessant questions. It had been something of a game for them, and they had grown to look forward to Lucid asking questions, going as far as to persuade him to do so.

Thankfully, however, Lucid's interest had shifted to self-study (or so Hee Yeon firmly believed, as she didn't want to think that he was disappointed in her lack of knowledge), meaning he now spent the majority of his time pondering to himself or reading books. This meant that Hee Yeon could finally relax, with no need to be on constant guard for potential questions, and it was also why she left Lucid be in class.

During break, Lucid left the classroom and made his way down to the courtyard, which he had been staring at for the better portion of class. As it was, Myeong-su, from the classroom next door, had also come out to play. As excited as ever, he ran and ran, determined to make the most out of the ten minute break between classes.

"Oh hey, plaster face!" he called. "Aren't you cold?"

While Myeong-su was wearing a thick jacket, Lucid was only wearing a T-shirt.

"Oh, yeah. I'm fine." Lucid grinned.

Gu Yusheng had always sensed he would probably one day have a fight, but it didn't matter to him because he'd expected it.

He hadn't heard what she said after that because he had already exited the store, but he'd heard enough now to change the time he and his friends met at the internet cafe to play computer games to the same time as evening study hall at school.
When the bell rang, he immediately went to the track field, riding his bike to search for her, and followed her at a distance once he'd found her. She had never known that he had secretly followed her home like a stalker for two weeks while the road in front of her apartment had been under construction.
Gu Yusheng had also always liked observing her shyness. Once he saw her walking out of a bookstore with a girlfriend when he was waiting for his classmate on his bike. Qin Zhi'ai was so engrossed in talking to her friend that even when she had passed right by him she didn't even notice him, even though he had heard everything they were saying. 
"What books did you borrow?" the girl asked Qin Zhi'ai.
Qin Zhi'ai was such an innocent, smart, pretty, and wonderful girl in Gu Yusheng's eyes that he assumed she would read books like Dream of the Red Chamber, Gone with the Wind, and The Story of a Noble Family.
Instead, she waved the three books she was holding in the air and, without shame, declared their titles in her clear, beautiful voice, "Bossy Boss and His Wife; Love Me, Uncle; and Evil Teacher, You Are So Bad."
Gu Yusheng's eyesight was good, and he clearly saw the covers of those three books, one with a hand-painted woman with half of her breasts showing.
The other girl giggled with her hand over her mouth. She leaned over to whisper to Qin Zhi'ai, "Xiao'ai, you are bad."
Qin Zhi'ai smiled at the girl in reply and put her books into her backpack. Then she shamelessly said, "A slightly perverted girl is cuter."
At that moment, Gu Yusheng could not contain himself and laughed out loud. Qin Zhi'ai and her friend turned around immediately and looked in his direction. Not wanting them to know he was eavesdropping and with his phone in his hand, he pretended he was on a call and laughed again in the mic, saying, "Okay, no problem. See you tonight."

After they talked and dinner, Bella got the four settled into a room. They all agreed to share since they didn't want to be put with random people. It wasn't normal for guards and royals to share a room but if Bella remembered correctly they all grew up together. She went to her room which was on the first floor and read a book. She figured while they were out she'd drag one to take her book shopping. She began to wonder if maybe they would be willing to guard her so she could to school. Bella wanted to act like a normal girl for a little so why not.
 The boys all sat in their room talking about what's going on. None of them can really believe they didn't recognize Bella since she was always being presented on TV. "I wonder if she's always like that though. It's definitely not how we are used to being treated and I can tell if I mind it or not, " Notics chuckled at the thought. Bella was a different girl than anyone they'd met at the castle.
 "We are all going to help her though. She's here all alone and for whatever reason none of the other guards seem to be stern enough to help her, " Gladio was a bit upset about that. Letting a princess at the top go unguarded, even if she can take care of herself. "Maybe she isn't as snarky once you get to know her. I hope. "
 "It can't be that bad, " Ignis was laughing while trying to talk. "Although I could see why she ticks you off head of the guard. She really put you in your place."
 "Shut up Ignis. You weren't even speaking. Why was that anyways? Did you recognize her or something?" Gladio began to turn the questions on Ignis. He was usually the one to figure everything out in the group and then Prompto was the flitter. Gladio the uptight one and Notics was the most relaxed of them all. Notics was the glue of their group though.

 Bella knew they went to sleep late, so she went and woke them up bright and early. She really wanted to go shopping and it was more for the books than the clothes but that's fine. She figures that Prompto will be the fast at getting his clothes so she'll drag him to the book store. Bella planned to ask them tomorrow about the school thing. She knew some of the other princesses and princes went to school but they went to the public one. Bella wanted to go to the private school because it was full of people who were part of the magic community and therefore more to protect her.
 Bella woke up and got ready pretty early. She decided to put one a pale blue dress that went to her knees. She had matching flats, she didn't wear heels often. 
 "Come on boys let's go! We have to eat some breakfast before and I am so hungry, " Clara wasn't yelling because she didn't want to wake everyone else up. No one would be mad at her for it though.
 Prompto open the door, he was still in his pajama's. "Princess Bella why don't you go order for us? Just order whatever you usually eat, we aren't picky, " Prompto was very relaxed and leaning against the door. He was tall and muscular. 
 "I don't want it to get cold while I'm waiting for you guys. I will wait here until you all are done, " Bella sat in one of the chairs that lined the hallway. It was made that way so there was paces for people to sit and talk and hang out. 
 "Alright. We won't take too long Princess, " Prompto smiled and looked her over quickly. He closed the door and they got ready but took their sweet time. About 20 minutes later the four came out dressed in casual clothes and smiled. "See! No time at all."
 "That was 20 minutes. It was too long. I am really hungry, " Bella stood and began to walk. "Also from now on its not princess Bella it's just Bella. The public will start question and that's never good."
 "Alright. That makes sense and we will try not to act scary but what about our swords?" Gladio looked and Bella smiled. 
 "Give them here. If we need them I can just bring them from the void. It's not that and it's the fastest way without drawing more attention," Bella stopped and help out her hand. They handed the swords over and Bella snapped them away. "All done. Feel weird without your swords?"
 "Yes I think we can all agree to that too, " Ignis smiled at her. He hasn't said much to her up until the point. She found it interesting he started to talk. 
 "Ah well you will get used to it being next near me. I'll give them to you at night so you can clean them or whatever and if we are going anywhere you give them back," Bella smiled and looked at they're faces. She saw a little of hint of surprise in Gladio's face. 
 "We? Do we always have to go out with you?" Gladio looked right at her and smiled quickly. "We wouldn't mind that but some freedom would be nice. " 
 "The problem is that if you go out without me you can't bring swords. I don't remember you guys being trained with daggers." Bella smiled and ordered her food and theirs quickly. The guys never responded but instead they ate. They knew she was right, not being trained in daggers. Most Royal guards aren't, but her's was. They ate their food talking about the plans for the day. Then they headed out for the stores. 
 "So where exactly are we going?" Prompto asked while walking beside Bella. 
 "To the shopping area. Where else would we be going?" She laughed and they talked about random things the rest of the way. The shops were just opening as they got there and they went into one of the men's clothing section. Prompto just grabbed some of the nice clothes and grabbed his size and that was the end of his shopping. 
 Bella approached him and tapped his shoulder, "Hey so I was wondering if you could come with me to the bookstore. I need some new books. "
 "Uh yeah sure. I don't see what the harm would be. I'll let the other's know that we are going to the bookstore, " Prompto walked over and told the others who looked a little jealous. He got his new clothes and off the two went to the bookstore. "So you really like reading?"
 "Yes I do. I haven't gotten new books in awhile. I need something knew," Bella was beginning to get excited. The book store here was really big and Bella could always find the right books. 
 Bella went straight to her favorite book section. Something was off though, she couldn't tell what but she had that strange feeling people get when something bad is about to happen. It seemed like Prompto had the same feeling constantly scanning the rows.

Richie passes me a note on the last day of school. "Does joo want to go to the movies wif me dis Friday?" "Sure," I reply, "What time?" I draw a little kitten next to it doing the victory sign. "6?" He drew a stick ninja decapitating my kitty. "Sound good to me. I'll see ya den!" I draw an assassin stick figure shooting his stick ninja for killing my kitty. Again, my heart pounds. We've been dating for almost two months now but we've never done anything lovey dovey at all. Is this how it's supposed to be? 

People go out all the time but I don't have a lot of friends and the ones that I have that date don't really tell me anything about their dating lives. I don't even see them holding hands or anything... then again, our school was really strict about PDA (public displays of affection). Maybe they do it more out of school. I've never hung out with any of my friends outside of classes though so I wouldn't know. I'm too scared to bring them home, and my parents don't allow me to hang out with any of them outside of school.

I'm really nervous when I get home but I try to act normal. I help mom make dinner like usual, read my books I borrowed from the public library until I fall asleep like usual, but, unlike usual, I look forward to Friday.

Finally the big day arrives. I beg and beg mom to let me go. I have to see Richie. This is the first time I get to meet anyone outside of school. I don't tell her who I'm meeting though.
"Man-ah, you know how your dad is! I can't let you go out! He would be so angry with you! Please don't go out okay?" Mom looks at me pleadingly. I pout and yell at her,
"I don't care! I want to go! Why don't you guys ever let me do anything?! Is this place even a home?! Why do other kids get to go outside and hang out with their friends but I can't?!"
"Man," she tries to reason with me, "We are not white. They let their children roam wherever they want, but we can't. What if something happens to you ah? Do you want mommy to cry? I just want to protect you!"
"Mom! It's just a movie! I won't be the only one there! Besides that, it's in town! I go to school with these people! They wont do anything to me!" She just looks at me nervously with pleading eyes whilst I stare back stubbornly. Finally, she sighs.
"Okay. If you go, then the boys, your sister, and I have to go too. No arguments."
"Fine! But we have to be there before 6pm," I say happily. 

We all get ready together and leave by 5:30 and get there just in time to buy tickets to see Prince Caspian. I wait until almost 6 and still Richie did not show. I go in to the room where they were showing the movie and ask mom to borrow her cell phone. I call his house phone multiple times but no one answered. I get frustrated and start walking back to the movie when I feel someone grabbing my arm.

First there was Richie. Then there was Hamin. Next was Darius... then skip a few and finally there's Him. Not "Him", as in God, but..Him. Read as each man in this girl's life changes her a and teaches her a little more about not only herself but what she needs to truly be happy.

It probably won't be as fast paced as some of the novels on here so I apologize ahead of time this is more of a slice of life than anything else so there won't be too much of twists and turns (I think).

Luosang knocked her head. She used to think that she was smart, but now, she felt she was silly. Nian Xi and Nian Junting made it sound so real that all the others believed them.
"I don't think police officers can lie to people like that, can they?" she asked.
"Nope. That's why I told Nian Xi to pretend to not know us," Nian Junting explained. "You don't have surveillance cameras in your hallway, and they insisted that someone witnessed you take the money. So, it was quite difficult to prove that your innocence. In order to end the whole thing as quickly as possible, we came up with that idea. Checking for fingerprints was just the first step, as they could still explain. We just wanted to freak them out step by step and make them tell the truth. We couldn't start from Ni Miao, so we had to focus on He Ruyi." 
"So you don't have any proof today," said Luosang knowingly. "Nian Xi is amazing. Last year, she didn't seem to be so reliable. But after watching her deal with the case earlier today, I think she could be a great lawyer or prosecutor."
"Earlier this year, her police station sent her to another province for training. She's got some improvement." Nian Junting nodded and said, "She's lacking good wrestling skills as a policewoman, so sometimes, I worry about her. Therefore, I've been giving her quite some books about the public prosecutor examination recently. Hopefully, she'll switch to another job. The rest of the family agrees with me. As for the idea today, that came from me…"
While speaking, he paused slightly and glanced at her.
Luosang felt as if every cell in his body was even shouting—'Compliment me now!'
"Yeah… In order to thank you, I've even given myself to you," she said.
Hearing that, Nian Junting raised his eyebrows, then nodded with satisfaction. But when raising his head, he found that his car was right in front of him. He knitted his brows, wondering why couldn't this road be longer.
"Your school is tiny," he said.
"Tiny?" Luosang replied, "You'd need to spend an entire hour to take a circle around our school."
Nian Junting stopped walking, fixed his eyes on her, and said with a deep and charming voice, "I don't know about that. I only know that we've walked to my car within a blink of an eye."
Luosang gave a start. Her face blushed when she realized what he meant, and her heart began thumping.
At that moment, he bent over and leaned his upper body forward.
In her eyes, his handsome face was getting closer and closer to her.
She even forgot to breathe, until a feather-light kiss landed on her forehead.
After that, she sighed slightly. She thought that he was going to kiss her.
"Are you disappointed?" He smiled and said, "I'll kiss you next time. We've been in haste today, but I don't want to scare you."
"I'm not disappointed," she said.
"Women never say what they mean. I've been reading a book recently. The book says when a woman says 'no', she actually means 'yes', vice versa."
Luosang clenched her teeth.
"Mr. Nian," she said, "What kind of books have you been reading? Can you please stop reading it? I beg you."
"If you spend more time with me, I'll quit reading it. I might continue reading it if I get bored staying alone with nothing to do." Nian Junting gave a smile.
Luosang sighed again. "Aren't you running a public company? How can you have nothing to do as you run such a large company?"
"I've earned too much money recently, so I plan to rest for a while," he said.
Luosang wanted to beat him. "Mr. Nian, if you stay longer, I might be late for my class."
If he stayed longer, she might want to bite him.
"Em, alright, call me if anyone tries to bully you." After saying that, Nian Junting got into the car and left. 


It was supposed to be a perfect deal in which both parties got what they needed. However, after the child was born, he tore up the agreement with discontent and told her, “Who said that we'd only have one child? I want twins! Twin brother and sister! You’ll continue giving birth to more children until you bore me a pair of twins!”
Luosang was beyond endurance. “Nian Junting, damn you…” she raised up against him, “Nian Junting, is this fair to the pure love in your heart?” 
Then, a marriage certificate was thrown at her. 
He landed on her, slowly curved his lips in a smile, saying, “Aren’t you my pure love?” 

"So where is he?" Why is he being all concerned about Matt all of a sudden, why was he even asking me about him, why was he even talking to me?

"Shouldn't you be with Tess or something, you don't want to become an outcast just because you're caught talking to me right?" my mouth blurted before my brain could catch up, that was the most I've ever said to anyone. 

"Of course that'll never happen, almost everyone has left school already, I was waiting for Tess to be done in the library so I decided to pick on you," 

"Oh really?"

"Yeah."

"So why don't you go screw your Tess then, I'm off," I snapped and marched towards my bike. I jumped when he appeared beside me again.

"I actually came to you because I need your help," I stopped abruptly.

"Mark Stoner, most popular kid in Eastwood high suddenly needs the school outcast's help?" I blinked hard, this had to be a dream.

"I'm not a kid okay? And don't feel too big I asked for your help," wait was he serious? Did he really need my help or he was just messing with me all over again?, I decided on the latter and hopped onto my scooter.

"Wait, you're not leaving me here, you have to help me," I stared at his frantic expression, he really needed my help, but why me? I mean, he barely even notices my existence or maybe it was because I was the only one left in the whole school?

"Fine, It has to be really important to have you risk your popularity and talk to me in public," he nodded indifferently and I suddenly noticed I wasn't tongue tied anymore, in fact I was actually having a civil conversation with a normal person without one-worded replies or stutters and that too my crush….woah, is that supposed to be a good or a bad thing?

"Tess has been in the library since lunch hour," He started, snapping me out of my daze.

Okay….

"I haven't laid my eyes on her since then," Why was he telling me that, did I seem like a cop or security guard to him?

"Okaaaaaay…." I prompted when he paused for more than a minute with an expression that I couldn't decipher.

"So I want you to check out the reason she's still in there," really, like that was the help he went through the trouble of talking to a mute aka me for?

"And why can't you do that yourself?" Security got the better of me, I just had to ask.

"Well that's none of your business, just go and check the library out already," he snapped and I raised a brow, does he think he can order me around so easily?, I don't think so.

"That's no way to ask a favour politely, if you don't mind, I'd like to be on my way," I secured on my helmet and turned on ignition to my scooter. I was about to zoom away but he grabbed my hand, like our skins came in contact, I experienced this giddiness that I've never felt before.

"I can't be seen anywhere close to the library, the populars are not supposed to….you know read books or even worse go to the library, it'll be an instant ticket to outcast land," oh, really? Why were they attending school if they weren't going to learn then? And why was I pondering over it like it was any of my business?

"But you're their boss, you make the rules so you can as well break them, I'm really sorry but I can't help, if Tess is important as you make her out to be, then you wouldn't care about your very weird rules, see you in school tomorrow Stoner." Okay, that officially takes the medal for the most words I've said in a sentence, and it felt good, really good.

I zoomed away before the egoistic loverboy had the chance to recover from it's shock.

 I stopped over at a proper library to borrow actual books for a change, I've been reading a lot of ebooks with my free time which was like every hour apart from school and my part time job at a diner three blocks away from 'home', sorry you're just getting to know that I have a job, I kind of rushed the introduction earlier. 

 So I'm officially informing you that I have a waitress job at a family owned diner, I work there all the days of the week excluding Mondays and Thursdays so today was my off, that was why I borrowed books earlier on why way home, with hopes it was going to be good books. 

 After getting to an empty house and warming up a proper meal for lunch-slash-dinner, I washed up the day's stress and unusual happenings and settled down to take a look at my PC. I didn't have a phone, as far as I was concerned I needed a phone for absolutely nothing. Parents and work can call the house line if they needed to get in touch which was next to never and I didn't have friends, not in real life, not online either, I didn't even have a Facebook account, pretty over the top but I'm contented with online reading apps that are strictly for reading and nothing else.

 After reading through updates of my favorite ongoing novels with 'awww's and 'ewww's, I settled down with one of the paperbacks I borrowed from the library, it was an ancient version of Charles Dickens' Olivier Twist. After a while, I slept off with my head on my desk, face buried in the book and earphones plugged in my ears.


 

All is not what it seems," I whispered with my fingers crossed and everything changed, literally everything....
