The Halfa shook her head before forcing herself back into the crowd, directing herself towards a more populated area. She spotted two people talking and figured she could start with them. As she manoeuvred over to them, she took a deep breath. Time to say hello.

The two men halted their conversation as she arrived.

With a wave, Dani introduced herself, "Hi, I'm Dani," she started, "I hope you guys are enjoying the party."

"Oh you're the star of the day, well congratulations! And yes, this party is fantastic. I'm Tyler by the way." The smaller man giggled.

"And I'm Manly Dan! Yeah!" The much larger man punched his fist in the air. Dani admired his enthusiasm.

Data but that the thing I am lacking most as just to make this chip I stole all confidential scientific data available in Kalos....

But I thing I noticed that after Merging Varios Data's I got that I am Actually a Esper and a decently powerful one at that....

My Accidental Approch of using my psychic powers in scientific principles made my powers high enough to be a Monster in Human skin .

Also the cause of my manical manias and Excess Lust is found...my madness is no problem as it's only for knowledge but Lust may be a large problem it controlled me largely in past few years.....unknowingly from initial 1 wife now I have 5 wives.....it made me do various do various risky moves like Raping a marchioness...lust isn't wrong but that is only when it doesn't controls me... In these 1 year I somehow was able to decrease my large amount of lust thanks to help of Lucy , Lily , Amanda , Venus and Malva . But even then sometimes I couldn't control myself that I went ahead and fucked some random women after fucking all 5 of my wives . Malva can be said to be my most powerful assistant as she despite being with me the shortest understands me most . She thankfully made me avoid major ladies to avoid more mess . [Celeste]: Kibou, I know that this might be too much for you, but we cannot afford to rest right now. If we do, the Soul Reaper will be able to take our souls and use them as its food. If we die that way, even reincarnation will be impossible for us! We will just be another sustenance for the Soul Reaper, who might attack Asteria next. Do you want all those things to happen? Do you want all of us to die? Do you want Asteria to die?

 [[[This psychic field continued to increase in size until it covered a circular area the size of lake. Once this size was reached, Kibou's eyes flashed as he continued to analyze everything inside his field.]]]

"What?" He wanted to start conversation so I decided to play along. It was gonna be a long ride back to the house either way, so might as well try to make conversation.

"You always try to ignore problems, and your strategy is to start driving. So tell me how much do you love me Mira.?"

"Well, I know one thing for sure. I'd cross a desert and an Ocean to get away from you!" I grinned as I watched his expression change from cocky to mad.

"Why?" Self esteem drop from 10,000 to 0. "Well dear Husband sorry to be the one to tell you this but your kind of a pain in the ass, and besides I rather read a book peacefully than listen to your nagging."

"What? I do not nag, don't like to me Mrs Peru. I am one of the most funnest people to be around. Why would you waste your time crossing a desert and an ocean just to get away from me, your a girl you wouldn't do it." Since when did we start calling each other from each other's surnames. Besides if he really wants to try the whole 'Your a girl you can't do that' than I'll show him. 

When I say I will cross a desert and an Ocean to get away from the pain of his storm, I'm sure it'll be worth it.

"You really wanna try me Mr Peru. Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I can't do it. I am a very outgoing person crossing a desert and an ocean would be a piece of cake."

"You girls are so extra." Just then he changed in a snap as If I had done enough damage to his little virgin heart. "You know what just shut up and continue driving, if we get in a crash you might ruin my handsome face."

I continued to laugh as I teased him the entire ride home. And when we did get home the first thing he did was check the girls make sure there were no bruises or any signs of violence. He then asked them if the nanny had hit them which they both answered with "no". He would be a really great father, but a husband not so much.

I then went to the private library I have in my house which is stored with all my favorite books, and my favorite genre romance. I had fallen in love with romance books in the 4th grade, when I read my  first romance book "Macarons at Midnight." It was such a beautiful book that every single time I went to the library I would go to the romance section. 

So now that I am older I have a whole library of just romance books. I was looking for a book to read when I heard something drop behind me.

I turned to see and it was Kaden that sat there staring back at me. "What do you want, I'm not in the mood to talk right now. I want peace and quiet and I will find that in my books."

"Aww, but don't you wanna admire me right now."

"You know Kaden, the boy's in my books are better looking than you, so...try harder next time.!"

I sat down on the couch next to me as I had already picked out the book I wanted to read. Thirty minutes had past and yet Kaden remained there looking at me read. 

When I read I have a very serious face, so I think he found that amusing. The book I was reading was pretty thick so I was gonna be in here for at least an hour.

It was until I reached the middle of my book, when my stomach started growling. I guess my stomach is in the mood to eat. So I quickly ran to get a bookmark at my table. I put it in my book and left my book on my desk where I could easily find it.

I left the library and went into the kitchen, I had expected Kaden to follow me. But he seemed to have stayed in the library. What kind of business does he have in there?

Mira Gomez is a tough cookie, literally. Kaden Peru sees her as an open book. Speaking of books they both are in love with them. However being in an arranged marriage comes with consequences. The ship was one for which they had asked from another village. On this island, there were three villages, and after all the shamans and elders had been eliminated, the guards left behind did not know what to do, and so naturally, no one could stop them from getting onto the ship. 
 
As for the villagers who chose to follow Benjamin, most of them came from the first village.
 
A total of three hundred people, more or less, had chosen to follow him, and this was a rather large proportion. They might not really understand what Benjamin’s words meant, but, judging by their expressions, there were things in their hearts that were beginning to awaken.
 
Muddling along in their lives under a theocratic rule, it was the first time that they were realizing, in this world… There might be another way of living.
 
As for the other two villages, they had not seen with their own eyes the scene in which Benjamin killed all the shamans, and an atheist speech was not persuasive to them. Those people only knew that there had been enemies attacking from the outside, but they had not even seen the face of the Church, so how could they come to the realization of anything?
 
Because of that, Benjamin did not intend to bring them along.
 
"It is impossible for us to rescue everyone, this is their own decision," He stood on the deck, watching and consoling the siblings as they kept on gazing towards the islands on the stern of the ship.
 
The young girl turned her head, "Them staying there… What will happen?"
 
"Probably die," Benjamin shrugged, saying, "There are many magical creatures being kept by plenty of people on the island, and now that the worshippers from across the sea have been completely destroyed, the magical creatures will soon go out of control, and the people left there will have no power to fight back."
 
"Are we really going to just leave them there to die…"
 
"It’s their own choice," Benjamin sighed, saying, "To die for their faith is what they desire, so they are getting what they wish for. There’s nothing we can do."
 
According to his estimations, the population of the entire sea tribe was about a thousand to two, and most of them were at the bottom of the social hierarchy, living life in a daze. Even if they left, they might not be able to get used to the life on land. If there was no courage to start over, perhaps staying on the island, believing the lies concerning the goddess and dying like that might be a better choice for them.
 
Furthermore, these approximately three hundred people were already the maximum of what Benjamin could handle.
 
If there were more people, it would be very difficult to handle them when they had been brought out. After all, his main objective for coming this time was not to set these islanders free, but to obtain the psychic books that belonged to the worshippers from across the sea.
 
The information concerning psychic powers were basically all stored up in the altars. Because of that, after Benjamin had been done with the matters in the village, he had, naturally, flown towards the altar at his highest speed. Of course, there were still some shamans and guards at the altars, standing guard and not having a clue about the situation outside; Benjamin got rid of them easily.
 
Following that, all of the precious books fell, unharmed, into Benjamin’s hands.
 
"Don’t think so much, go back and take a look at the books we’ve gotten from the altar," Thinking that, Benjamin patted the two siblings’ shoulders, advising as such.
 
The two siblings nodded and turned around to go back to the cabin.
 
The content of the books they had obtained was actually extremely complicated. A lot of things were not explained in detail, and the worshippers from across the sea did not compile a complete system of theories. Because of that, it was only through the two siblings, having been born as psychic spellcasters to shamans, that the books could be slowly arranged.
 
However, without a doubt, no matter how messy things got, these books were able to be of great assistance to the two siblings. Given more time, Benjamin believed that one day, these two people would grow to be even stronger than their elders.
 
At the same time, the psychic education in the academy was about to get on track.
 
Furthermore, other than the books, Benjamin had also obtained a few unexpected items from the altar.
 
"These stone slates, the things inscribed on them should be runes, yes?" He returned to the cabin and took out a few extremely ancient grey stone slates. His fingers traced the runes on them, and he asked the question in his heart.

The System’s voice was full of sarcasm and an eagerness to see something bad happening, "You can try!"
 
Because of it, Benjamin’s curiosity was extinguished quite a fair bit. He calmed down and examined those few stone slates for a while, before finally putting them away carefully.
 
It was better to bring them back to the academy for the professionals to research on them. In the past, it had always been him acting out of too much enthusiasm that ended him up in a lot of unexpected troubles and, on some occasions, almost killing himself. To be honest, he was considered really lucky to still be living now.
 
Because of that, at the System’s reminder, he decided to be more cautious this time.
 
Whatever it was, he had earned a lot on his trip out at sea this time. Not only had he suppressed the Church’s arrogance by borrowing their hands to destroy the worshippers from across the sea, but he had even acquired all of the wealth of the worshippers from across the sea, as well as the heart of a soul, the usage of which was unclear for now. Benjamin was extremely satisfied.
 
Also, what made things even better was that the people the Church had sent over had been killed, so the Kingdom of Helius would be getting no news at all. Because of this, Grant would not realize that all of this was the work of Benjamin.
 
They could even be misled, and make more mistakes.
 
Meanwhile, at Havenwright, St. Peter’s Cathedral.
 
"Your Highness the Pope, everyone’s crosses have been broken, the operation of the crusade against the worshippers from across the sea has failed," Suddenly, a shaman walked hurriedly into the main hall, reporting as he lowered his head.      
 
Hearing this, Grant did not turn his head, but stared at the murals on the ceiling above him, unmoving.
 
"...I need an explanation."
 
The shaman took a deep breath to relieve the nervousness in his heart, and answered quietly, "Before the destruction of the troop, we did not receive any news, so we have to send people over to check on the situation before we can know what happened."
 
"So… How about the king?"
 
"He is still the same, sometimes well, sometimes not. The curse planted by those people is very difficult to break, and the protesting nobles have increased in number. Your Highness, we might need to prepare some backup plans now."

The shaman, being stared down at by him, felt a sudden surge of pressure exerted on him, and could not help but gulp before replying slowly, "That… We can use a substitute."
 
Grant let out a derisive laugh.
 
The shaman was becoming more anxious, "Your Highness the Pope..."
 
"Do you think that a substitute would be able to trick those people’s eyes?" Grant’s tone of voice had become very cold, "Within the city walls, every noble that walks into the church has to bow respectfully towards us, and speak those neverending, flattering words. But, are you unable to see that they have cursed at us in their hearts over thousands of times? How can they let go of this opportunity so easily?"
 
The shaman hurriedly lowered his head, "The majesty of God is unsurpassable, how would the nobles dare commit the offence."
 
Hearing this, Grant gave a scoff, and cast a few glances casually at the shaman, revealing a disinterested expression.
 
"Go back and continue to send troops beyond the sea. A group of deep-sea banshee followers, I do not believe that they are able to turn any tide." He said impatiently, "As for a substitute… You may begin preparations."
 
The shaman, as though been granted a huge pardon, hurriedly nodded, and turned around to leave the main hall.
 
"... Wait."
 
Grant suddenly stopped him.
 
"Your Highness the Pope, what other instructions do you have for me?" The shaman turned back in a rush, asking in fear and sincerity.
 
"Do not tell anyone about the failure of the cleansing of the worshippers across the sea," Grant suddenly became so solemn, it was shocking. He spoke in a low voice, "Especially bishop Connor and bishop Engel. Tell them everything went according to plan, do not let them know of a single word we’ve spoken today."
 
Hearing this, the shaman nodded like a chick pecking at grains.
 
"Of course!"
 
Seeing this, Grant waved his hand and dismissed the shaman out from the great doors. The doors closed up, and following that, the entire main hall fell into silence once again, leaving Grant alone.
 
He turned around and looked up at the ceiling.
 
It was a very typical piece of religious artwork. The strict lines and the mechanical colors merged together, forming two opposing, yet extremely similar faces. The people in the painting were confronting each other in a dark cave; one of them was surrounded by pure, white light, and the other was drawn to have red eyes, with horns on his head, like the living devil.
 
The decisive battle of Cain and Abel. This was probably the most classical piece of material for religious art.
 
Looking at this painting, Grant suddenly squinted his eyes, showing displeasure.
 
"No one can control my fate."
 
He suddenly spoke, as though speaking to himself, but also to someone unseen there. His voice reverberated in the empty main hall. The atmosphere was strange.

Romance is a very popular genre in Webnovels. The first thing that come to mind when we talk about romance are the CEO novels. Even though we don't want to admit it, they are the mainstream romance stories in the Webnovel website. 

So why do people love romance stories? I hope you find the answer while reading this chapter.

WWFire: We who read these kind of fantasy novels don't live our lives correctly pal.

WWFire: That's why we escape reality sometimes. 

FattyBai: It's like being offered a big cake and unable to take a slice.

Zehell2218: I think male reader have their own chance and market.

FattyBai: I mean, it's not a bad idea, but how do you split it up? 50% romance/50% dragon ball z?

FattyBai: I'm a simple guy, I see plot and I drown it in martial arts and manly stuff. Of course, I don't know what feelings are. Can you eat them to increase your cultivation base? *think smart emoticon*

Parasection: I've never experienced romance so i'd fail the moment i'd attempt a story like that.

Zehell2218: Actually, I like to write fighting scene but without romance my reader will kill me. So...yeah I tag it as romance! *joy emoticon*

Elyon knew that "Romance" is not his strong point. He writes a fantasy story with romance, but he can't tell if the romance will be able to attract female readers. Out of curiosity, he asked some of his fellow authors the question "Why do you read romance stories?"

Here are their answers…

Kyosei: Because I am single. 

Reili: To fill my empty void of a love life.

Minrei: Because romance let you feel what is to be loved, plus it is universal you dont need to learn magic or cultivation in order to read.

Bajj: Due to lack of romance irl.

Murakami: I read because I enjoy the friction and conflict between the FL and ML. The insistence vs resistance is naisu.

Qin: I reads romance only for ideas and info.

VlassisBehrakis: I don't read romance novels.

[A/N: Oof I asked the wrong person.]

Elyon then  ̶a̶m̶b̶u̶s̶h̶e̶d̶ asked some readers about their opinion about romance novels.

Yin: I read romance novels because I want that kind of drama to happen to me in real life. But I know it will never happen haha.

A Certain Irresistible Meowlin: I wonder why? And I do read romance novels. Though the chance of me dropping them is also the highest out of all the genres. Every so often I come across a scene that makes me just want to squeal and fangirl.

Elyon decided to dig deeper and asked a few of his senior "romance authors" some questions about their reason for writing romance stories.

The first question is… Why did you choose to write Romance Stories?

Anjeeriku: I'm comfortable writing romance stories compared to other genres. I'm a helpless romantic person and I like novels that can invoke other people's feelings.

Bajj: First of all, I like reading romance story. It was the reason why I read books before and reading other genres comes after. All in all, due to these romance fiction books, I got the opportunity to read more great books with different genre.

MishaK: That's what I read, so write that too.

Zehell2218: Because as reader, I want to read romance novel so when I write, I write romance since my motto is I write what I want to read.

Ikazainudin: The easiest genre. Everyone can relate.

End_of_Era: It wasn't a full on Romance, it was slice of life with romance which I feel was necessary with progression of the characters.

The second question… When you were making your ML and FL, did you imagine yourself as the lead of your story at any given point in time?

Anjeeriku: I would be a liar if I said no. There were instances that I'd put myself in my FL's shoes. Whenever that happens, my writing feels more passionate and truthful that sometimes it was hard to know where my fl starts and where I end. 

Shen Yi, LMD's ML was based on a person I've lost, The One That Got Away so it was sometimes hard not to self-insert whenever there were scenes that need to invoke feelings from readers. 

Bajj: I believe that every character the author was making and breathing life into it, a part of him/her is added to its character. But me imagining of being the ML/FL, never. I'm too pure for that. Kek

MishaK: Yes I did but sometimes. Otherwise you can't infuse emotions in your characters. It is important to understand your characters.

Zehell2218: Yes, I imagine myself as the lead. Of course, I tweak it a bit, such as in age and appearance. But mostly, the characteristics is similar to me.

Ikazainudin: FL and ML character based on what I want to be irl. Yup. I imagine that will be my love story.

End_of_Era: Yes, my leads had some ocassional self insertion.

The third question… If you were to choose some other genre aside from romance, what would you pick?

Anjeeriku: Fantasy. I always look up to those authors who can write fantasy stories/novels well. I believe writing a fantasy novel is harder than writing romance.

Bajj: Horror/thriller/Action. Read GGGB godamnit! [Good Girl Gone Bad]

MishaK: I am writing a Fantasy romance aside from regular vanilla romance *smile emoticon*

Ikazainudin: Psychological/horror and maybe children story.

End_of_Era: The new genre I'm writing is fantasy/violent .

Anjeeriku: I'm sorry for not being inconsistent with updates. Y'all know I love you, but a little consideration and patience as I face this rough patch in my life would be very much appreciated.

Hello Guys! I hope you enjoyed this chapter of WWCG. Personally, I've read a few CEO novels myself. I also read some FL stories like A Slight Smile Is Devastating (Love O2O), Hidden Marriage, Doomed to be Cannon Fodder, Transmigrator meets Reincarnator, A Mistaken Marriage Match: A Generation of Military Counselor, There Is an Angel in That Church (short story), Eight Treasures Trousseau, Grabbing Your Hand, Dragging you Away, A Mistaken Marriage Match: Record of Washed Grievances…

Ai~ there's a few more that I won't add to the list because it will create a wall of text. Well anyways, the reason why I read these stories is to get an idea on "WHY" the ladies love to read them.

Let's just say that it's a unique way to see a world in the eye of a lady (if you are a man of course). When done properly, the execution of the story can capture the hearts of anyone, even male readers. I believe that no matter what gender you are, as long as you find the story interesting then it doesn't matter whether you are a guy or a gal no?

Perhaps, when I'm not too busy to write my stories, I'll once again pick a romance novel to read. Hopefully, I will find another hidden gem that will bring unexpected surprises to anyone who are lucky enough to find them.
