My name is Eva adair. Born of the Goddess of war Adair and God of wrath Felix. 

My parents were both true Gods who existed since the beginning of the world. 

We lived in heaven, Heaven was a space created by the so called father of gods it was  a beautiful place,  almost every soul goes to either stayed there or reincarnate after they die,  sometimes or most of the times evil souls are punished by sending them to the Abyss, heaven was fill with enormous mana everywhere, beautiful flowers and fairies that looks after them,lots of different creatures and an enormous amount of resources. 

There were also many other angels in heaven,  but not many of them were like me.

Angels were divided into many tiers and classes this is because the evolution steps of angels is very strick. 

Normal angels,  the majority of angels like were born from tier 0th.

But they can only gain the title and class of angels only when they reach 5th. 
Heaven was rich with resources everywhere so all most all angels reach this level at teenage years. 

but even for angel there is a limit.

Mortals in the mortal world can never reach the 5th tier. Not because they were restricted by the gods but because of they are 'them',  their body and soul is not enough to withstand the quality and quantity of mana from 5th tier and above,  to them it is like poison, even though that is not absolute, in the long history of the world only a few mortals have reached godhood, but them reaching godhood was only because they were favored by the original gods.

It is also the same for angels but even harder.
 Because from 5th tier everything changes,  whether they are mortal who miraculously Reach 5th or demons or devils or even heavenly beast. 

In 5 tier and above  there exist two bottleneck points. Below 5th tier, bottleneck is in .5th tier,  but now,  that level is a new tier in itself. 

bottleneck are are now in .25 and .75 of a tier. 
Meaning that  bottleneck  are placed at 5.25 and 5.75 and so on for higher levels.

5th and above is also where The quality of mana is more important than quantity.
every breakthrough increases quality of mana to a whole new level.


Angels are divided into 3 types. 

Type 1 were the normal type of angels
Born between normal angels.
Their evolution path are as below. 
Angels 5tier --> archangel 5.5tier --> angel of Principality 6tier. 



But beyond this,  evolution is impossible for them,  just like mortals cannot reach 5th tier and are to be forever stuck on 4.5 tier bottleneck . It was theoretically impossible for them to move on. 

The type 2 angels were different. 
they were born between respective type 2.

but the most important thing about them was that  , they were born a 5th tier existence at birth.  This was a huge disparity. 

Their evolution path is as followed. 
Angel of Powers 6.5 tier --> Angel of virtues 7th tier --> Angel of dominion 7.5th tier


Just like type 1 it was impossible for them to breakthrough to the next tier. 

The next type of angels  or type 3 angels are rarest type.

Born between true gods they are called the true sons and daughters of god, they also have the highest potential to reach godhood, to them reaching false godhood(9th tier seraphim) was almost guaranteed.


But this type of angels were rare since there were only 14 true gods.
In heaven there are two types of Gods.
true gods and normal 9th tier beings they are also know as false gods.

originally there are 9 true gods.

which is in control of the 9 heavenly realm
but 5 mortals manage to defy all the odds gathered followers and became true gods themselves.

there are now 7 female gods and 7 male gods.

for type 3 angels 9th tier false godhood is guaranteed as long as they don't die before they reached adulthood.

Their evolution path is as followed. 

Thrones 8th tier--> Cherubim 8.5 tier--> seraphim 9th tier ( false god). 


in heaven lives a few hundred 9th tier being like seraphim but ever since the beginning of time there have only been 14
true gods till date.

reaching true godhood from false godhood was almost an impossible feat.


I, for one was born an Angel of thrones,  and have finally reach my teenage years and leveled up to a cherubim.

Besides the 9th tier false gods and true gods, cherubs have the highest authority.

'But how long has it been since i hadn't  seen peace in the heaven was it since my birth or was it after that'.

Heaven the beautiful and peaceful place filled with goodness was no longer how it was use to be.


One of the most well-known rule that the true gods created was that every being who ascended to godhood of 9th tier must know that they are not the highest existence.

 there are still powers above them -true demons gods, true gods, heavenly kings and the creator himself, whom the true gods devoted themselves to.


This was where it goes wrong,  the sons and daughter of gods have grown too arrogant.

After they reached the false godhood -seraphim stage, they were were drunk with power thinking that no one could match them now, they consider the creator's existence to a complete hoax made up their parents to restrain them, they hated being called false god,they refuse to believe that the heavenly beast kings were above them,  they could not comprehend the existence of a higher being than them. 

The same could be said with mortals who ascended to godhood, they were treated with absolute care in the mortal realm, born with superior power and body , everyone respected them to the point where they thought the world was revolving around them, even when they reach 5th tier and became one of the weakest in heaven, strangely few of them continued to move on and reach false godhood, false godhood for them was the end,  they could no longer get any more powerful than this, reaching true God was an impossible feat that have only happen 5 times ever since the beginning of time, they think they are at the peak, ' it was impossible for being of higher level them them to exist' -or so they though

At first there were only skirmish and little fights here and there after all the true gods cared very little at what the opinion of the little once were, but no one would think things would reach this point where war would often happened from both sides. 


 Therefore, Right now heaven was completely separated into two factions.
One who beliefs in the creator and wants to maintain peace and regulations in the world, 
All of the 14 true gods belong to this faction.

The second faction or the rebellions  was made of sons and daughters of god who had reach false godhood almost 158 of them,  they do not believe in the existence of an Almighty being, even if he did exists they believe that all he did was gave birth to the original gods,  they do not believe that they are no match heavenly beast kings which their parent were afraid of. 
They want to declare war with the heavenly beast kings and the abyss and dominate the entire realm of existence , the universe and all things.


But that was not the end,  things slowly turned worst from here. 

The most strangest thing was that the abyss was experiencing the same thing, and was spilt into two faction,  one that believe in the existence of their supreme being and one that do not,  one of the faction joined hand with the rebellions from the heaven and a started and all out war with the heavens. 

Joining hands with the other party was a huge taboo for both gods of the heaven and demons of the abyss. 

War happened here and there for a hundreds years both in the mortal world,  heavens and even in the abyss,  angels and demons fall here and there. 

During all those times, no matter what happened the true gods never stop praying but their prayer's were never answered, even so their believes never wavered. 


But the same could not be said for angels under them. 

Angels were also just like humans and had dark side and  just like so,  the angels under them started cursing even the creator.

But this all change 5 years ago. 

5 years ago, a strange thing happened in the heaven,  the divine godly flame that had been burning ever since the beginning of time and was the only proof of the creator's existence burned fiercely then ever as if reacting to something, it was as if it was celebrating the return of something or as if it was welcoming something,  this has never happened before and not only that the laws of heaven and earth started stabilising almost 10 times faster.

This was unprecedented event.

At that time the Seraphim's and other 9th tier mortal false god did not care about such things but ever since then, the original gods behave every strangely, more angels were posted in the mortal world, but not to go to war but report if anything strange had happened in any places, the rebels were curious about this move of the true gods but since they had no clue as to what was going on they decided to ignore it,  but soon a huge news was leaked. 

"The creator might have already entered the world about 5 years ago" this abrupt news leak shock every being who heard it.

Every false god who had never believe in the existence of the creator panic, they though that this was a ploy by the true gods but they could not shake of the hint of feeling that this might be real when they reconsider the strange behaviour of the true gods then coupled with the divine fire back then.

Although they were arrogant they were not foolish, they knew that their parent could not influence  things such as the divine godly fire.


I for one was curious, so curious that i with 2 friends decided to sneak in to the council of true gods to listen to what the true gods were planning. 

What we heard then felt like a taboo to our ears. 

The true gods did not only believe in his existence, they were talking about him as if he was a not only a  real person,  it was as if a kid was talking about its parents just like the seraphs talk about their parent with admiration when they were young. if people from rebellion army hear of their conversation,  they would think they were delusional. 


But the most surprising thing did not come from that,  they actually theorize in what form he would be in right now. 
They believe that the creator was too powerful to be hold by this universe so he must have taken other means to enter it. 

They believe that he would reincarnate into this world as a baby,  and right about now he would be about 5 year old and would be living normally as baby,  me and my two friends were stunned.



But it did not end there,  we even heard the forbidden name of the creator "Alfie blanks". 

Our world was turned upside down. 
It was not only the rebels who was doubtful of the existence of the creator it was also us.
We always though our parents were delusional and the rebels were arrogant but we think that they were right when it comes to the existence of the creator, after all we all thought that the legends of the creator were clearly over exaggerate , a being that could single handedly create the entire universe was simple too out of comprehension.

Time flies and after one month, a war once again broke out in the heaven,  but this war was different,  the combine power of the abyss and rebels of heaven were to much this that even cherubim were send out and  was even injured. 

It was at this time mother spoke to me. 

"Eva My daughter something has cause a  huge disturbance in the dark continent of Elion the rebels are planing something, i know you have not completely recovered from the last battle but you are the only one available, we need you to go and check"


I got orders from my mother and this is how i ended up in this situation. 

When i got there what i saw frightens me.

"This is not them just planing something,  they are planing to raise the entire continent to the ground"  i saw an army of huge,  huge insects and creatures of the abyss,  they filled the entire horizon. 

although it was nothing to me, i could only exert 10% of my total power in Aria.

"sigh* i might die being to tired here"

It was then i suddenly felt the air change.

The cloud swirls.

i realized someone was trying to construct a spell, a 9th tier normal category spell at that.

I search for the source and in the faraway distance behind me.

I could see someone floating in the air.
"This is mana? "

i could see an outline of a tiny body and pure and terrifying mana was surrounding him, he had an angels halo on top of his head,  but rather than a halo, it looks more of a crown. i could see him mumbling something in the air.

i spread my consciousness out and could feel the sheer amount of mana he put in that spell.

a huge flaming tornado materialize in thin air burning everything in its path.


It was so hot that everything around it  even the tress  surrounding the forest was burning and even space seemed a bit blurred. 

i look at him with shock.



I looked toward the horizon observing the mighty flames that were burning.
i look back at him but before i knew it he was no longer there.

the next thing i knew i was consume by pure raw flames.

i was unafraid , i am a cherubim, one of the highest existence it was impossible for me be effected by a spell of normal tier.- or so i thought.

"shit ...it burns" i underestimate the flames, no it was not the flame ... it was the mana.

everybody know when a mortal tried to absorb a spell of high quality mana.

just like the spell system tier and evolution tier system quality of mana also has a system/class.

" this quality of mana..... its actually higher than the highest 9th tier mana of true gods - Mana emperor "

I was in a bad position, the flame was nothing.
but the mana that even surpass my orgin parent's mana was like poison to me.

i was gradually weaken.
i could feel my strength slowly fading.

" am i.... am i  going to die her?"
 
and after a few moments. everything became bright,  it was as if light filled the entire world. a huge explosion from horizon that seems to cover up the entire sky engulfs me.

due to me being weakened i could not prepare for the explosion which suddenly hits.


I soon lose consciousness. 


After i awoke i saw  that person standing in front of me.

What beautiful face and beautiful hair,  and beautiful eyes. 

The beautiful halo,  and the mana,  at this point was this even a mana?. 

With the power he displayed, the terrifying and irresistible energy he emitted, i no longer had any questions on who he was, after all he fits the exact description of how the true gods said  about the form he had taken right at this moment. 

Not Even the heavenly kings have mana quality thats surpass and his irresistible mana,  i was not mistaken,  i had finally found him, the person who the gods were searching for the past 5 years and whom they were praying to since the beginning of time. 

Tears were slowly forming up in my eyes. 

I looked at him again as he was about to leave. 

'No i could not let him leave again, i must not let him leave,  even if it means disrespecting or making him angry or even making him feel fault i must do everything i can'

I raised my head and talk to him

" are you going to run again?- "... 
"Is running the only thing you could do? "
I looked at him in the eyes, he look no different than any 5 year old, but his eyes,  they were eyes of someone who had experience and see everything, the birth and death of every creature.

I felt fear,  as i peer into his eyes more deeper.
I could see the glimpse of his soul his true self,  and a glimpse of his power. 

I could see an almighty being that seems to observe the entire universe as if it was observing a box filled with ants. 
But even then i continue to talk. 


" what a coward,  if you have all that power, where were you, why didn't you help us"
I started crying. 

' oh shit,  i am so dead, did i just  call the creator a coward? '

 "we prayed so much, haven't you hear our prayers?...  Didn't you know?  Even the gods prayed"

'Damnn mouth shut up'

"Some Creator of the gods you are!! "

'Damnn it .....this is the end'

I cursed myself inside. 

But strangely i did not feel any ill intentions from him at all. He continue to look at me with his cold expression for some time and said. 

"Stand up and spread your wings"
As he speaks the entire mana in the air seems to reverberate when he speaks, my body did not listen to me,  it immediately stands up. 

' this is the end,  he's really pissed'

I could feel a strange energy emitting form him covering me,  the energy was no longer mana, but an entire different thing in it self. 
It was so powerful that if he releases this too much it could mean the end of me, my body could not handle this power even as the daughter of God. 

The energy he was emitting had the same feeling of divine given out by the divine godly flame of heaven.

I close my eyes as if i was accepting my death,  but even after awhile nothing happen.
I slowly open my eyes and saw that the surrounding scenery had complete change.

The world was not fair to him, but he decided to go along with it.... Decided to abandon his life for his own twin sister, he was swallowed by death, but as his soul drifted along nothingness it wanders off in to a new world..... A world he himself created...

but the downside of this is ability is massive=and because of that Aoi Kichiro only uses it as his last resort it can be said that it is Aoi's trump card but that doesn't stop him using this ability for fun some time,

why for fun you ask? well because, this ability has some conditions to it, as long as you don't change reality and make complicated moves in fake dimension, this ability could be simply used to stop time, and for sake of explaining let's say this ability cost - 2mp to build a small box in fake reality and then to paste it on original reality, and 10000000mp to change the world itself. but if you use it to only to stop the time the cost of mana points will be reduced drastically. (Free) Aoi usually use this ability in order to stop time only and doesn't actually change reality which saves him a lot of trouble, since he only uses it to stop the time he doesn't suffer much from aftereffect of this ability = in the end, it is like power consumption of ac you can use it to just blow some air and use it as air condition as it should be used but for you, Blowing air is just works fine !! so, you don't need to pay a large bill, use that ac as a fan ! -if you are wondering who I am? just wait, I will be making my appearance later. for now, let's see how Aoi handle himself -In The End It Just An Illusion!

He ran toward other rooms, where his consorts slept, such as Lady Bian and Lady Huan, but he also found no one.
After 30 minutes of searching for his wives and children, Cao Cao could not find anybody.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?"
He went ballistic as his family was missing.

From the tone, Tong was infuriated, and Cao Cao could sense the threatening force within the scroll.
Cao Cao was angry, yet terrified by Tong's abilities.
He was a mere mortal while Tong had almost reached the threshold of a god, who could come and go at any time.

Cao Cao shrugged, "Well, Zhang Tong was supposed to do this ages ago, but he purposely allows us to grow for some reason. It's a matter of time that we merge with them and let him absorb our forces."
"Then, what about the coalition?"
"I have an idea," Cao Cao's eyes revealed determination. Even the situation was hopeless, he never gave up.

Another normal day at school, it's been 17 years since I was born in this world.

You must be confused by what I mean by "this world" aren't you? Well the truth is - 

I'm not who I am...

 Strange huh?

Anyway, my name is Kai, but my name from before was Leon, Leonard Ang. You see I'm not originally from this world. I was a doctor before...well a relatively new Doctor. I just graduated from being a Medical Student 1 year prior, and I'd like to tell you all about my previous life, but that's another story. I will tell you all what happened to me before I was born as Kai.

One day I was about to go home from the hospital, and as new doctor I still worked as a secretary under a senior doctor at that time. When I was about to cross the road my phone started ringing. I noticed that the traffic light was still red so I decided to answer. It was a call from my mother; she was saying she had some problems with my father, who was drinking somewhere. So she asked me to pick him up, since the bar my father liked, was near my workplace.

While I was talking to her I noticed that the traffic light became green so I decide to walk while talking on the phone, however, what I didn't realise was that a truck was moving fast on the road I was crossing. It seemed like the driver was in a hurry so he/she decided to run through, and ignore the traffic lights.

That's when everything went to hell.

At the last moment I managed to look at the truck as I heard someone screaming, the last I saw was the lights from the truck before it hit me. At the time I felt  like I was flying, and suddenly, BAM! I felt  like my back was being crushed by a mountain. I could feel everything slipping; going black. I also noticed one other thing…I was going to die.

With that realization I recalled my life. I was able to remember when I graduated from high school with my friends, I remembered when I played with some cadaver, when I was still in college, I remembered the moments when I laughed, when I was sad, when I fought my parents for my girlfriend, who in the end cheated on me.

And I realized one thing...

                       "My life was seriously boring."

I studied for 12 years in school from elementary to high school, without anything interesting happening, then I spent 7 years to become a doctor, not to mention I was a nerd. While I thinking about this I could hear several people screaming, and my body being lifted but it was useless, I could feel life start to fade from my body, I couldn't even open my eyes.I must have hit my head hard for me to rupture my optic nerves.

 I mutter one last thing before I succumb to the darkness,

"I wish the next world isn't boring like this one was."

With that my body went limp.

First thing I noticed when I died was; It was dark, very dark, it was also frightening, I felt the fear start to crawl down my spine, I moved, or I tried to move, but somehow my body seemed to have a hard time moving!

Then suddenly I felt something pushing me from behind! I was about to turn and see what was pushing me but i couldn't ! I couldn't see anything! It was too dark!

The darkness did not stay for long...

I suddenly saw light. Yes a light! I could feel my body being pushed towards that light! I didn't think anything about that at the time; I was just thinking about getting out of this darkness!

To that light!

With that I tried to move to the light, being helped by something that pushed me on, more precisely I helped the one pushing me, and when I reached the light, suddenly the entire world was a blur to me. It wasn't quite color blindness, but the easiest thing to see was the stark contrast between light and dark.

I could see shapes and edges but the world looked incredibly confusing. Now this wasn't what I expected. I was thinking, trying to see where I was, but the world was still blurry! No, it was not something I expected at all!

I was about to speak, but I couldn't say words, rather it was more like Babbling? I then yelled, shouted, roared, but my voice it seemed to stay away! I could feel something wet on my face. I tried to touch my face, but I found I couldn't move my hands or legs! I felt I was being lifted and carried.

Now I know I'm not that tall or heavy but…This is ridiculous! I feel that I was being held in the crook of someone's arm! What was carrying me, a Giant; a Monster?!
Once again fear started to crawl through my body. Naturally I was not the type of person who easily got afraid of something. I mean I had seen cadavers that only have half a face, cadavers who got its guts spilled, locked alone with a dozen corpses, seeing gruesome wounds from patients, but I didn't know why I was afraid now.

Seeing talking and shouting were useless. I did the only thing I could have. I screamed. I wailed. I cried

17 years later

"Onii-san... You doing it again aren't you?" I asked as I saw the boy that became my brother in this new world... Twin actually when we were born, he was the first to exist from mother's womb, 1 minute 37 seconds before me. My brother jumped in surprise and turned to see me with a sheepish look.

"Aah Kai! You startled me!" My brother said in a sheepish tone from the bush

My brother had hair that reminded me of Jin Kazama from Tekken, except he has more bangs covering his forehead, and it was light brown instead of black like Jin, followed by light brown eyes. The boy like me and our parents, had brown hair; everyone in my family had brown hair and light brown eyes, except that I had black eyes for some reason. My brother seemed  to have inherited his hair from my father, while I seemed to have inherited my hair from my mother, seeing as I had straight hair like the Prince in this school, Yuuto Kiba.

"Seriously Nii-san, you need to stop this, you're lucky that I was able to save you last time" I sighed

"Hey! If Matsuda didn't yell my name I wouldn't have been caught!" He retorted

"And that's why I forbid you to hang out with them!" I glared at him

"Ah come on Kai you're no fun! I tell you it's fun to be with them!" He pouted

"Yeah but it's not fun seeing your brother get pummeled by girls! Seriously are you even a human?, I don't know how you are able to handle the beating that Kendo club gives to you" I protested

Ah yeah I forgot to tell you. I was... Well you could say now I was in the DxD world, you know right? The world where Devils, Fallen Angels, and Angels exist...

And live among us...

Now you wonder how I could I know about this world right? We'll let just say my friend is otaku, and a hard one, a perverted otaku you can say, and DxD was one of her favorites. Yes my pervert friend was a girl. Don't be surprised, women can be perverts too you know. Why do you think they drool when Korean artists remove their shirts while singing?! Some of them even throw underwear! For God's sake, underwear! We men maybe perverted, but we won't throw our underwear to the stadium when our favorite singer sings! That's crossing a  line damn it!

Anyway I went off topic, I was reluctant at first to watch the DvD that my friend gave me, but seeing at the time I was bored, so why not? I mean I am a man, and to like the lady's body is in our nature. I watched DxD until Vail declared that he was a Descendant of Lucifer, and after that I stopped watching, but still even if I watched the DvD, I still somehow find it hard to remember, as if it was a blur. Yeah. I don't even remember all Maou's names, except for Sirzechs and Serafall... Those two are really funny

"Oy! Earth to Kai! Earth calling Kai! Mayday! Mayday! Come in Kai!" My brother waving his hand in front of me broke me from my memories.

"Ah, sorry Nii-san, I just got caught up  in something" I rubbed my the back of my neck before I cleared my throat. "Anyway let's get you out from here before Katase-san and Murayama-san find you" I said and started to drag him by his shirt collar.

"Ah! But they just removed their clothes! I will able to see their oppai! It just got to the best par-"

"KYAAAA!"

My brother was silenced when we both heard someone screaming. I'd take a guess Matsuda got caught and soon Motohama will be as well.

Yes, my brother was Hyoudou Issei, the protagonist of the story. One of perverted trio, the self-proclaimed Harem King, well when he becomes a devil later anyway, and we are at Kuoh Academy, a school that was ruled by the Sitri and Gremory clan's heiresses, Sona and Rias respectively. When I said the world was boring I didn't mean to send myself to this one damn it! Not to mention I was always going around with the protagonist, who always got hit by Murphy's law!

"Kai-kun" a feminine voice to called me as I was dragging Nii-san away. I turn and see Katase and Murayama standing there. I could see Nii-san becoming pale, but I kept a calm and stoic expression.

"Ah? Hello Katase-san, Murayama-san, the kendo club. May I ask why you are surrounding me?" I asked in a polite tone of voice.

"Well, Kai, you see we just caught two of perverted trio peeping on us... Again, but we were confused when Issei-san wasn't anywhere close by." Katase said sweetly

"Well Katase-san as you can see my brother's not peeking at you, we were just walking around, Right Nii-san?" I asked my brother who nodded.

"Ah yeah! The weather is good today! Ahaha" He laughed nervously, very good acting Nii-san... Murayama narrowed her eyes

"Now Murayama-san, Katase-san, you all didn't have proof that he was peeking at you, so may we go? I'm sure Sona-Kaichou won't like if I reported to her that you were beating my brother without reason." I said calmly.

"Why were you thinking we are going to beat him? You don't have proof." Katase smirked, but I stay calm

"Well seeing as the girl behind you just ripped Nii-san's picture, and looked at him with deadly eyes, isn't it obvious?" I smirked a bit and Katase turn to see one of club members blushing before she turned to me again with a frown.

"If you say so... You win again this time Kai-kun. But don't think you will able to protect him forever" Katase said with a glare to Issei first before she turned around to leave.

"See you next time Kai-kun" Murayama smiled and winked to me before she also turned around to leave.

Of all Kendo club members only Murayama seems kind to me, well after all I got through teaching her a few tricks in Kendo at least. Yes I was also in the Kendo club, but for boys not girls.

I also able at defeating our teacher with ease, how can I be so good at martial arts you ask? Well I have been learning Martial Arts since I was 9. Ise-nii also learned some Kendo movements, I was the one who suggested it to him and he accepted it. I said perhaps it would become useful someday, but the truth is I trained him and myself in order to prepare for the future. I don't know if I should prevent him from becoming a devil or not, but if he is the protagonist then he doesn't have a choice. As for me I don't know, perhaps I should stay human

"Thanks for the save Kai, man that was close" Ise-nii sighed in relief

"Anyway, class is about to start. See you after school Nii-san" I waved my hand and started to leave, my class was different from his, I don't know why the Council separated us.

"Hey look. Its Kai-kun…"

I groaned mentally, but on the outside I keep my face stoic. Fangirls damn it! You know, in my previous life I was curious how it felt to have fan, and now I wish I had kept my mouth shut. I noticed another set of squeals from the girls around me.

"Hey! Don't you believe in my charm?!" Ise-Nii said in hurt tone, and we just stare at him with deadpan expressions.

"Does it need to be asked?" I deadpanned, and I could hear a SNAP sound inside nii-san body

"You hurt me Kai..." Ise-Nii murmured in hurt tone

"But what Kai said is true Ise. You have to be careful okay?" Mom said with a worried tone and Nii-san nodded.

"Don't worry! I will introduce her to you tomorrow Kai! Our date is this Sunday, I mean 3 days from now! You have to see her Mom, Dad, Kai, she a beauty, with big oppai!" Ise-nii said with perverted face that makes me roll my eyes, sure she is a beauty, she was an Angel after all, before she became a Fallen Angel.

Though life may exist for a limited time, it ultimately comes down to the moment of death to end it all. That is certainly true for any mortal creature, whether it's a human, demon, an elf, any other living creature, or even a dragon, yet the ones outside the mortal plain just see death as part of mortal cycle. A cycle that they don't interfere in. Most immortals chose to ignore their mortal counterparts in favor of solitude or obtaining wisdom. Some were tasked with duties that involved mortals, such creatures being the angels that serve the gods.

Originally, angels were a species and recognized as such before becoming known as gods' messengers. They all share their origin with the Great Tree from whose branches they sprouted like flowers. Of course the Great Trees were gigantic trees that occupied the unknown land in a dimension never explored by mankind. While the trees were by far not the tallest, they were very wide reaching with its branches extending all over the land they occupied. The beings that came to be known as angels were originally created by the Great Trees and were the residents of their own dimension.

Their realm was the realm of immortals. They knew nothing of the impermanence of life and how rules governed the other worlds.

Of course in no time, angels found out that their world is not the only world in existence. Curious about the other realms and unable to restrain their interest, angels journeyed to the other dimension. None knew how they managed to journey to other realms, but their existence all over other realms serves to confirm it. Some simply knew not where they were going and in a sense slipped through the cracks between their world and the others.

Some have arrived in a realm occupied by mortals. To their curiosity they found out that the dimension of mortals was separated into realms, each having borders set up in form of invisible barriers.

To their horror, they discovered that they had no corporeal forms in this realm. They could only have limited influence upon reality. In a sense they were bodiless energy that possessed consciousness. Their forms from their own world vanished, only returning if they influenced the territory enough to call it their own domain. They were same as ghosts.

Because of having no corporeal forms, many angels chose to watch over humanity and were rather fascinated by their beliefs. They watched and learned many things over the countless years of following peculiar individuals. Then one day, angel discovered that he could possess a body of a human being, essentially allowing the angel to have his own body. The angel found a way to change the body to suit his needs, modifying its appearance to that of his own and granting the body the wings that became the signature marking of the angels. Soon, other angels followed the suit and started interacting with human beings. This interaction inspired human beings to come up with so many legends honoring the angels while mostly ignorant of their true origins. This was certainly due to human beings considering angels something of divine origin while the angels were trying to appease human beings in order to understand them better.

After occupying human bodies, some angels grew out of learning about human beings and started to genuinely understand them. Many chose to lead their lives as human beings. Because they permanently occupied human bodies they chose to forgo their immortality in order to become one with humanity. This partially can be attributed to them falling in love with humanity. Though seeing this trend, the gods of the world forbid the angels from occupying human bodies for it made the angels be out of their influence. Some cruel gods have even hunted down many angels who did occupy human bodies in order to eliminate the trend of possession. Afterwards, the practice of possession was mostly forgotten.

Some angels did not feel any sentiment towards humanity and chose to leave the dimension altogether, in favor of having their own bodies in their own reality rather than exist as specters within human realm.

Yet, some found themselves in the middle ground. They did not want to occupy a human host and become mortal nor did they want to leave this dimension. They simply wanted to have a place in this world.

They quickly found out that the world of mortals follows the rules set by nature and in order to have influence and be immortal within this world they have to become part of the cycle. Unlike mortals, angels held access to every stage and realm of existence. All doors were open to them, but one. They always knew there is a Creator who set up all the rules of existence to every realm created, but this Creator never interfered. The Creator was the ultimate observer. Angels deduced that Creator was very curious about life and its course. The entire course.

Angels deduced the existence of the creator because of the fact that no matter what they tried they could not bend certain rules of reality and were forced to obey and abide by them. One of such rules was becoming part of cycle of nature.

By becoming part of cycle of nature, angel was able to obtain a corporeal form without possessing a human body and maintained immortality. There a many ways angels have become part of nature cycle, each one being pledging loyalty and fealty to a specific god and be granted a physical form in return.

Those who pledged themselves to the primordial god of death, Olim, had a duty to help souls move on after death. Of course there were many rules that had to be followed, which includes the fact that they are unable to interfere until after the mortal dies.

No mortal knows what happens after death, other than the fact that it's beyond the current world and angels occupy it. While vague, what they know is the truth. There are angels waiting in the world beyond and those responsible for sending the souls there.

Out of the angels that chose to stay immortal, those that serve Olim became the agents of sending souls to the world beyond. While most mortals could travel to the world beyond after death, some had lingering attachments to the world of the living- the problem some angels attempted to resolve. To prevent human being from being trapped in between planes of existence as a ghost, certain angels attempted to allow them to rest in peace. While the angels could not help the souls with unfinished business, they could help souls that completed their tasks in life but were stranded. The interesting fact is- many souls end up like this after the occupant of the soul perishes, leading to certain angels to come and send them to the world beyond.  These angels became known as Shinigami. They were also known as the Reapers, the servant of Primordial god of death, Olim.

On a particular day, a certain Reaper named Desolai was taking care of her duties as usual. Reaping a soul- essentially severing the connection with this reality of the soul that has finished its business. There are countless Shinigami existing within this realm, so there never was a need to rush, but the duty was still duty. She had certain souls she had to reap in order to maintain her position. It became meaning of her existence. She has long forgotten of who she used to be before due to the centuries upon centuries spent being a Shinigami. By now Shinigami became part of cycle of nature, so the only thing that mattered to her was her duty. At least that's what she likes to think. After completing her duty for a day, she stays in human realm longer in order to observe humanity and in particular their relationships with each other. Angels never knew of such things without becoming mortals. The relationships like company, friendships, love, and family were largely a mystery to them. Desolai watched the mothers take care of their babies with undeniable curiosity. She was fascinated by the fact that human beings could create life and that they nurtured it. Angels could not reproduce by nature unless they become mortals, so immortal angels like Shinigami are rather mystified with the human concepts of love and caring. Desolai would spend long hours watching happy families spending their times together and often wonder if the human beings are the saddest or the happiest of creatures. They were rather limited when it came to lifespan but were fortunate enough to have the power to have influence the world. Desolai sadly remarked that she while she had a physical form; she was both intangible and invisible to human beings. Being a Shinigami meant she could only interact with souls of the deceased and had a duty to perform her position. She could not change the fate of a human being nor interfere and she only came for them at the end. This fact she has long ago accepted.

After watching or rather stalking human families, she flapped her black wings and flew back to her domain. Her domain occupied the same plane of existence as the human realm but was hidden thoroughly. To human eyes and senses, her domain appears to be a large mountain. Human beings could even climb it to prove its authenticity. Only when she passed through the mountain could she go to her domain. Her domain was a large space that seemed to exist in its own pocket dimension considering it was far larger than the space occupied by the mountain. Within her domain she built many things, including a mansion, a barn, and a forest. She also built many other structures over the years, mostly due to her fascination with human beings. In order to liven up her domain, she grew grass and plants within it and allowed animals to enter her domain once the plants have grown enough. Within her domain she held the absolute authority and she could even manipulate time within it. Because of this growing grasslands and tall trees from seeds was an easy matter. Additionally, within her own domain she could interact with anything, touch anything, and she was free to enjoy the feel of wind, sun, and water. Such experiences are impossible within the human world, so she cherished the moments she could spend in her domain after completing her duty for the day. Yet something always seemed to be missing.

Desolai landed on the grass with her wings folding on her back like clothing. She enjoyed the feel of the grass, the soft sensation that it produced. The cool air around her made her comprehend the beauty of life and how she was free to do what she wanted, as long as she was within her domain. All alone. All alone.

Angels were considered invincible. They had unfathomable strength, reflexes, and destructive capabilities. It took one angel to force meatball mode Baiyi into a corner. The only weakness angels had was their lack of battle experience. 
The Voidwalkers did not agree with this assessment, though. Angels, the Voidwalkers argue, only seem invincible because humans did not know much about them. Not only were angels cloaked in mystery, but they also commanded Divine Energy — an unfathomable energy that trumps the energies that humans could wield. 
Saving Noirciel had provided the Voidwalkers a glimpse into these mysterious beings. The information they received from the former High Priest deepened their understanding of angels. 
For starters, angels descended to mortal realms almost in the same manner that Voidwalkers did. Both beings required a medium to exist in a mortal world; the Voidwalkers favor suit of armors, while angels inhabited living humans. If a hole was punched through a Voidwalker's chest, they could shrug it off, but the same could not be said for angels; their hosts would have to bear this almost-fatal injury. If aggravated to serious levels, hosts could forcefully boot the spirits of angels from their bodies. 
Angels do not get rid of their host's spirit after possession. They only sever their hosts' reception to stimuli during battles. Thus, angels could not feel pain. Only angels that have been deemed sinners, like Noirciel, have this ability taken away, as the pain was considered a part of their penance.
This wealth of knowledge, including Baiyi experience fighting Noirciel, helped the Voidwalkers devise tactics that could work against angels, who almost everyone considered invincible. The Archmage's purple beam was one such tactic.
The Voidwalkers had noticed that angels are incredibly sensitive to energy pulses. When they noticed the surge in the strength of their enemies, the Voidwalkers added a little more of their power to their default output, as evident by Noirciel's change in battle forms. Back when she fought Baiyi, she did not use her battle form until the Voidwalker utilized his meatball mode. 
The reason why angels choose this economic battle strategy was still unknown. Could it be out of a feeling of superiority, or consideration for the limits of their host's body, or a constraint set by the Laws? Nevertheless, angels never unleashed their full power from the get-go; this was something the Voidwalkers were keen to exploit. The Archmage compressed a large amount of mana into a small ray of purple light, in order to greatly minimize the intensity and frequency of its energy pulses. This way, the angel would not have their guard up against the attack, as it did not seem lethal.
This was why the seemingly impossible happened: the angels' throats were quickly pierced through by the purple death ray. That was not the end, though. According to the former High Priest, in order to kill an angel, one had to get past their ability to self-heal using their Divine Energy.
As angels could only exist in a mortal realm by inhabiting the body of humans, serious injuries or loss of vital organs would only affect the human hosts, not the angels. To angels, losing body parts was no different from losing strands of hair. They could easily use their Divine Energy to heal the most serious of wounds; this made killing them quite difficult. Fortunately, after watching the playback of Baiyi fighting Noirciel, the Archmage found inspiration to his solution: another way to stop an angel from self-healing. 
The Voidwalkers began to look into the mechanism behind the angels' method of possession. Although they were still far from grasping every detail, they managed to uncover another weakness: the state of the host's body would directly impact the angel's stability.
It was the reason why the angels needed to mask their hosts' sensory perceptions. If the host felt any intense sensory stimuli or emotions, their spirit would stir and reject against the angel's subjugation, inadvertently purging the angel out of their body. Noirciel was a great example of it; Lulu's rebellion against her angel guest's control over her body had caused the Angel to be so severely compromised that she was later branded as a tainted sinner.
To capitalize on this characteristic, the Archmage had throw in a few illusionary magic typically found in the Charlatan and Incubus's techniques into his "Space Ripper Stingy Eyes". Once the attack hit its target, the psychic effects were unleashed to forcefully rouse the host's dormant spirit. Indeed, in terms of impact, this purple deathray was more of a psychic attack than a magical one!
Incredibly, the Archmage had never put this spell to the test. The success in sniping not one, but two Angels just from its first use was nothing short of inspiring.
"You see? Once the enemies lose the protection of our ignorance, they're nothing to be feared!" The Archmage beamed proudly to the Soul Armature Practitioner.
"Well, that's probably true only to you. The execution is so complicated that I doubt I can pull it off even once," The other Walker remarked regrettably before shooting a quick, green-eyed glance at the Archmage's pompous equipment. Only the First Walker with his prodigious grasp in magic and his overpowered equipment could make a sophisticated psychic-magical hybrid spell exist beyond theories!
"See? This is why formation magic reigns supreme over that low-level runic magic! Runes wouldn't have the ability to bring this to reality!" The Archmage boasted.
"Which also means there's literally no one else in this world who could make use of Space Ripper Stingy Eyes," The Soul Armature Practitioner said pointedly.
"Oh, er… Well! Let's not get hung up over a small complication like that," The Archmage relented awkwardly. "This technique is meant to be used for sneak attacks only after all, so it's not like it can be used indiscriminately during direct clashes. Our enemies could easily find ways to circumvent it. The more important lesson here is that it proved us right about these angels' weaknesses, and now we can all devise and derive our own methods to counter them."
"Hmm, guess I should put this to the test," the Soul Armature Practitioner said after producing a purple ball with the word "M" engraved on it. "I can probably manage myself if I'm up against normal Angels, I hope?"
Meanwhile, word of the death of two angels reached the ears of the two Archangels.
A nonplussed expression appeared on Paimon's face, and he indifferently asked, "What exactly have befallen Andromalius and Dantalion?"
"A moment please," Baal said, raising his sword skyward while cupping his free hand over his ear. A brief pause later, he relayed, "They were ambushed by something… unnatural."
"Something unnatural?"
"…Pain. They said they'd felt pain."
Paimon's entire body froze at the revelation saved for his wings, which were visibly quaking. When he finally spoke, his voice was shaking with fury, "They… They made them feel pain? How dare they — how dare they blaspheme like this!!"
Pain was a torment reserved only for the angels who had sinned, and only the gods had the right to mete out such a cruel punishment. The Archmage's action, whose spell had caused agony to their fallen comrades, was equivalent to playing god!
Paimon was apoplectic. He was just about to order the entire heavenly legion to annihilate those blasphemous fiends when Baal, who was visibly calmer, stopped him. "Halt, Paimon. If the enemies could inflict pain upon us, then they are more than capable of harming our brothers as well. Let our human companions prove their alliance instead," He advised. "With our blessings and protection, their status as mortals shall not debilitate them the slightest. Their resolve, tempered by faith, shall pulverize those blasphemers until there was nothing left of their wretched bones."
"You may be right," Paimon muttered and pulled out the split scepter from before. This time, instead of advising against it, Baal began to order the hovering Angels below their feet to take up positions.
The Angels obeyed and rose into the air, each of them assuming a position and altitude. Then, once everyone was settled, their aura flared even more brightly than usual until each Angel's light was linked to their comrades' to form a mysterious rune no mortals in Isythre recognize.
Perhaps if Noirciel had woken up from her coma and noticed this, she would have warned the Walkers. The Angels were preforming a preliminary ritual to signal the use of a god's Arbiter's Right, and regrettably, had Noirciel herself did the same before she borrowed her master's power, she would not have ended up with her current fate.
"O Bella above us, pray grant humble Paimon the right to use Thy power in Thy nameth, so he may serve justice and mete out judgment to the sinned," Paimon proclaimed loudly and cast the broken scepter into the air. It vanished.
Suddenly, strange turbulence in space erupted around Arfin. The air around it began to twist and warp until suddenly, ten million armed believers clad in golden armors of light surrounded the city out of nowhere!
"Yikes!" The Archmage exclaimed, jumping reflexively at the abrupt turn of the event. Despite his experiences, he had never seen anything like this. No one had ever been able to teleport so many people without letting out a sign! [1]
Of course, when one had access to an Arbiter's Right, such a feat was within their capabilities. Achieving the unbelievable with a god's power should be expected.
Archangel Paimon brandished his heavenly sword and declared his words straight into the believers' mind. Entranced, they began to charge toward the city walls. As they came without proper siege weapons, the believers hacked and slashed at everything in their way with whatever weapons they armed.
The Archmage responded by downing barrages and barrages of devastating magic on them, yet all those did was leaving large craters in their wake. The believers survived with no more than a few scratches under the protection of their golden armor and the Holy Light. Indeed, as they leapt back to their feet and returned to charging madly into the fray, their wounds were closing and healing at a visible pace.
"Damn, did we just get thrown into World War Z or Resident Evil?" The Archmage snarked before shouting, "Brace yourselves, we've been ambushed!"

I still couldn't believe it, the fact that I had been transmigrated and I still couldn't believe the fact that I had been in a sense reincarnated, much less in a world that was thought to previously have been fiction. And yet all the proof was quite literally around me, the purple sky, the strange new species all around me, hell my own existence was enough proof.

One of the Primary antagonist's of a harem novel written by a pervert who had conceived a truly idiotic reality with gods, angels, devil, dragons and much more. Yes at first glance a world filled with women of immeasurably beauty and different species, and the possibility to learn and obtain magical and supernatural prowess does seem quite appealing.  But once you realize that its a world filled with countless existences that could easily launch out  magical fireballs that could easily level a mountain, that appeal quickly disappears. Even more so when you realize that you are reborn as a existence that was simply a stepping stone for the protagonist of the said universe. 

Yes it seems that I am Riser Phenex.

The first time I had properly opened my eyes was after a couple of hours after I had been transmigrated, as it took a while for my body and mind to adjust to my current predicament, supernatural creature or not. 

And the process truly did freak me out, as the moment after my death, all I saw was darkness, a void filled with nothing but emptiness and me simply floating within it.

The devil or god which I had envisioned to judge and condemn me for my sins was not present, instead what greeted me was the never ending darkness that strangely seem to comfort me. And as I laid there in the abyss, I saw my life. I relived it and watched it over and over again, every moment of pain, betrayal, love...I viewed it all. 

It was in a way agonizing to watch me make my foolish mistakes over and over again, to foolishly believe and hope like a naive fool instead of changing. I truly regretted it, I wished that I didn't make those mistakes, I wished that I wasn't that foolish nor naive, I began to wish that I had lived more, before I realized that I was dead.

But the moment I thought that, new memories came to me, ones I realized weren't mine. No they were of a child. And it surprised me when I realized of whose it was...Riser Phenex. At first it was surprising as this was completely out of random, but soon I became curious and watched the memories of this creation of fiction as I had nothing else to do in this abyss. 

As I watched the boy memories, I somewhat felt pity towards him as he seemed to have lived a somewhat tragic life. He was born weak as despite him being an offspring of two powerful beings, and was a High class devil, he seemed to be unnaturally weak as throughout his first few years of existence he easily got sick and he also seemed to not have any special abilities. His flames seemed to be much weaker than any of his kin and so he was inevitably neglected by them.

His father seemed to despise him to some extent for his weakness and this notion also seemed to have been shared by his brothers, his mother on the other hand seemed to pity him and tended to avoid him, perhaps out of guilt for birthing him for being so weak, whilst his more talented younger sister was still young and too naive to understand anything. And so Riser had spend his days away from his family, as the clan and family had decided to shun him and had" mercifully " decided to allow him to exist, as despite his weakness he still was a noble. Plus it seems that he 

Though it seems that life had decided to mess with him even more by ruining his awakening, as the day he had gotten his evil pieces, it seems that some of his evil pieces were damaged, signifying that he had low levels of Power. And whilst he was saddened by this, what truly broke him were the disgusted gazes of his father and brothers, and the fact that his mother didn't even come and comfort him,  his fellow peers seem to pleasure in avoiding him or mocking him and despite tryiing to keep up a cold and ignorant facade, in the end he was merely a child. He was truly alone. 

It had stuck a chord with at how similar the lives were between me and Riser, both of us were alone and in away betrayed by the one we loved. And as I thought this I suddenly felt a surge of pain course throughout my being before I blacked out.

When I woke up I realized that I had some how transmigrated and in a away merged with Riser. I was truly frightening as I realized that I had in way lost a part of me, but what truly frightened me was the world I was in, and this also confused me as I realized that this was completely different from cannon dxd, and this scared the hell out of me...What else was different?

It took me awhile to collect my thoughts, and calm myself. I then realized that this was quite literally a second chance. As despite me having no one to help in both my lives, at least now I wasn't a simple street urchin but a noble and a devil and despite my lower levels of strength I could..no I will get stronger, I had to. As whilst I was strong in my past life, here I was nothing more than an ant, but that would change. I wouldn't simply die like I had before. I would survive, I would live freely even if I had to do it alone like before. I would reach the apex of this world, I live and be free, and hopefully find a better chance at love.

And so with my newfound determination I got out of my bed. Looking around I realized that despite being neglected Riser was still taken care of as the room I was in was lasciviously decorated though I somewhat felt pity at the lack of any pictures nor anything that was related to his family, as whilst he had a family, in reality he had no one. Making my way through this new place or rather new world I was in, I slowly made my way toward's a mirror.

And as I gazed upon the reflection, my reflection, I was a bit stunned by what I saw. The figure was rather tall for a 10 year old, standing at over 1.45 m. I had short blond hair, though despite it being unruly, it did add to my charm. My eye's had a deep dark blue hue that seemed to just enrapture you, I was wearing luxurious cloth's. 

However what had my attention was a treasure box that had materialized right before my eyes and was now on my dressing table. Walking towards it with caution I saw that there was an empty envelope on top of it. Cautious as first, I then realized that this was most likely from what had sent me here, so throwing caution to the wind I opened it...

As I finished reading the letter, I was somewhat furious to find out how my life was changed without my consent but I was somewhat grateful to this entity, also the gift intrigued me and so setting down the letter on the table only for it to crumble away, I thought to ignore it.

Opening the chest, I was truly amused by what I saw. For in that chest lied the infamous breed of fruit that any anime fanatic from my past life would recognize. But this was completely different from them all as this fruit or the apple that lied in the chest was strangely shaped like a skull and was completely white, it was almost ghastly with black-abyss like and blood-red swirls present all around it. I couldn't stop myself from smirking as I looked at the gift the mysterious being had sent me.

Clearing my thoughts, I grabbed hold onto the fruit, and bit into it knowing that my fate and existence, truly had changed....

Barry: "Spectres are artificially created ghosts made to kill vampires. They are weapons designed specifically for the current war."

Ro: "I … see. If that's case, then they are creating ghosts who can …"

He goes silent. So,

Ethan: "become demons while still being under their control."

Ethan finishes his sentence for him.

Sneha: "The Spectres can turn into demons and become ridiculously powerful, but because they were created artificially, the ghosts would have probably used some methods to make sure they follow the commands given to them even after they have become demons. Is that what you are saying?"

Barry nods with a matter-of-fact look on his face as he already knows what she would say next.

Sneha: "Isn't this just a speculation then? Unless you know for sure that they are planning to control them after they turn into Demons, there is no way to confirm this, is there?"

Barry: "And what if I tell you I already have proof that they are trying to control the Spectres in that way."

Other three look at Barry with different looks of surprise. Ro is surprised on seeing how much information he actually has.

Sneha is surprised on hearing that there is proof that ghosts may possess something that can control demons.

Ethan is surprised that he is revealing everything to them.

Ethan: "Well, what's the proof?"

Barry: "Take a guess."

He says while folding his arms and sighing as if to tease the others.

Sneha: "What the heck?"

Ro: "Just say it already, man."

It works in aggravating them.

Barry: "Come on, try to think for …"

But,

Ethan: "Angels."

Ethan cuts in with his guess.

Sneha: "Huh?"

Ro: "Huh?"

Ethan: "That's my guess. You did mention they could also become Angels, right? What if they are trying to use the army to do all the dirty work, so the citizens can actually remain in better mental states? By strengthening themselves, a lot of the citizens who have never committed any crimes and truly believe they have never done anything wrong, they may end up becoming Angels."

Ro: "Are you serious!?"

Ro stands from the shock of hearing that.

Barry: "Yeah, he is right on the money."

Barry says while nodding.

Sneha: "S … so, by pitting everyone who is targeting the ghosts against their army, they are trying to distract us from what they are really trying to do behind the scenes. And what they are trying to do is – create Angels."

Barry: "Yeah, that's how it is. Those angels will be able to cancel out the power of the demons and internal conflict can be avoided to a certain extent."

Ethan: "But it won't completely stop the conflict, which maybe the reason for the political problems you mentioned earlier."

Barry: "Yeah, that could be one of the reasons of the conflict. I am sure that won't be the only reason for it though."

As Barry says that, the full-picture starts to become clearer to Ethan.

Ethan: "Barry, if Dyne does come here, do you have some way to know it the moment he enters the island or something like that."

Barry: "If you are trying to measure how powerful I am, I refuse to disclose that information. You aren't a very trustworthy person after all."

Ethan: "I'll take that as a yes."

Barry: "U-uh? Why?"

Ethan: "That agitation confirms it's a yes."

Barry: "Huh!"

Barry sighs with his shoulders dropping a little.

Barry: "You pulled a fast one, huh?"

One of the few things Ethan has going for him is the ability to see the psychic energy surrounding Barry. If Barry was only acting, Ethan would be seeing a slightly agitated movement in the energy, but that's not the case. 'Okay, that's the actual proof it's a yes,' Ethan says in his mind as up until then, everything was a bluff.

Ethan: "Yeah, I actually did."

Deciding to let him think that Barry made some kind of expression that gave him away will let Ethan use this trick again because he won't bother trying to keep the energy around him in his control when he lies as he would be too busy keeping his expressions under control.

Having done all that, he comes back to the topic.

Ethan: "So you would know it whenever he comes here, huh? If what I am thinking is right, he might not be alone."

Barry: "Yeah, there's a fair chance he would bring another person along with him."

Ethan smiles and says,

Ethan: "Yeah, I guess."

As the two dogs, Jack and Jill, had not been willing to let the four of them in the forest, they decided they would call it a ceasefire and take rest at the beach. Barry and Sneha, probably even Ro could easily handle those dogs and anything else the forest may throw at them, but they decided to not let the chance to rest slip by.

And so, they talked with each other. They discussed things even though they were not allies. They decided to share some information with each other regardless. Was this because Ethan and Barry had come to some sort of understanding earlier? Was it because they found some hidden profit by having this conversation? Or did they just didn't consider each other true enemies?

No matter what it was, many hours have passed now and the morning sun is rising. This is the time they have to start to do what they need to do. The dogs won't come in their way as soon as the sun rises is something both Barry and Ethan knew of. So they would now be free to enter the forest and start to work towards their goals.

And so, on the beach right now, only Ethan and Sneha are remaining.

Sneha: "Do you really think it was a good idea letting them go in the forest first?"

Ethan: "I do."

Sneha: "Any specific reason for you thinking that?"

Ethan: "Actually, there is."

Sneha: "And what's that?"

Ethan: "I noticed something last night while we were talking to them. The fact that every person on this island has a different arsenal of abilities is pretty confusing, right?"

Sneha: "It is, though I don't know if saying 'different arsenal' is right. I mean, Barry's abilities are basically like a mix of Ro's and Kais'."

Ethan: "I suppose, but you know what I mean. Anyway, my point is – maybe we should shift our perspective a little."

Sneha: "Okay?"

Ethan: "Let's say – you and I are like the Aural faction here."

Sneha: "Are we?"

Ethan: "You are an Aural and I do have good relations to other Aurals. Besides, what other group is on better terms with them than us."

Sneha sighs and nods.

Sneha: "That's fair. What about it?"

Ethan: "Well, Barry and Ro are definitely the Vampire faction. I am pretty sure Kais and Sona can be put in the same faction for being the ones who are the most unstable elements of us all."

Sneha: "That would be a weird faction."

Ethan: "Yeah, I know. But anyway, the dragon and the girl can be considered a different faction too, couldn't they?"

Sneha: "Okay, so you are basically trying to look at it from the perspective of where our interests align in this upcoming war, right? And it somehow seems to be that every side has two members."

Ethan: "Yeah, and I don't understand why, but I think 'god' wanted it to end this way. He is a big reason why we are in this position after all."

Sneha nods in understanding. The two of them know very well that Ozyllus was not as noble of a soul as the records claim him to be. They also know his soul is still trying to mess with the real world. So they are able to come up with such a theory.

Sneha: "So how exactly does it all tie up?"

Ethan: "Not sure about that, but if this is indeed not-a-coincidence, then two representatives of Ghost Nation will be sent here."

Sneha: "And … what about it? You are wondering who the second one will be?"

Ethan: "Yeah, that's exactly what I am wondering."

Sneha: "Well, that is an interesting question. And you let them go in first so we could wait for those two to arrive here, is that it?"

Ethan: "Yeah, precisely. The dragon and consequently, the whole island is gonna die in three days. I doubt the Ghost Nation can afford to wait any longer before sending them."

Sneha turns to look at the sky. No indication of anyone coming can be seen so far.

Sneha: "I don't know if you are right about that or not, I mean for all we know, they may actually not even know that the island is going to get destroyed."

There comes no reply. So, she continues,

Sneha: "There is something I wanted to ask you, Ethan."

Ethan: "What's that?"

Sneha: "The first time that girl sees the dragon out of the tomb, the island will be in its final days, what's up with that prophecy? How'd you do it?"

Ethan: "Well, I would like to tell you, but I can't risk anyone finding out about that. Sorry about this."

She sighs as she keeps looking at the sky and smiles.

Sneha: "Well, it's fine. Not like I actually expected any answers in the first place."

Hearing that, Ethan also sighs and also turns to the sky. In his thoughts, he gives Sneha the answer. He tells her that there is no reason for the island to get destroyed. So why would it be destroyed? Even the dragon doesn't know why it would happen. All that Ozyllus told him is that it will happen. But Ethan knows the reason for it. In his mind, he tells Sneha that the only reason the island would be destroyed will be because of the girl. It will be because she thinks the island would end that it would end. That's how powerful she truly is.

The dragon may have created her, but someone else has done some modifications on her, and now because of that, she can vaguely understand the value of names, she can vaguely remember pointless things that the dragon programmed her brain to forget after a while. Those modifications are why she is now so powerful that if she thinks about something strongly, it would happen. In other words, Ethan Kales never did any prophesying about any destruction, he is the one who set up the said destruction.

After all, he is not someone who warns people of tragedies. He is the one who causes them.
