Ever wondered what you could do in a zombie apocalypse where you actually know what you're doing? Actually surviving properly while preventing stupid deaths? Doing what is right and necessary? Or better yet, actually doing what you shout in the monitor when you're watching a film?

Our MC is coupled with the knowledge of not just fighting z's but actually surviving by securing his home, finding allies, scavenging for supplies, building a community and so much more.

All of the names and places mentioned in this novel are fictional and any relation to people IRL is purely coincidental.

I wake.  Stare at the new ceiling.  What now?

I can't rebuild the God Machine.  I can build a space lab, but I don't know how to get it working.  I also don't know how to use it.  I doubt there will be a big red 'Build-God-Machine' button.  I'd have to play umpteen rounds of laser roulette with Lair to get it done.  If I won the laser lottery, and didn't get ashed, I'd have to deal with the complications of the tactical space junk.  And then figure out how to turn the God Machine into a teleporter.  All before the Optimals murder me.  Which they almost did yesterday.

At some point this plan went from desperate to stupid.  That's cool.  Failure is part of the process, right?  You haven't wasted your time if you've learned something.  So, what have I learned? 

Well, I've learned how to launch ballistic nuclear weapons.  I could do that all day long.  I've got a pretty well defended base.  If Lair can handle thousands of high speed drones, I figure trespassers aren't going to be a problem.  I suppose they will kill me eventually.  Some kind of poison cloud, or radiation burst, or starve me out.  Maybe not.  Doc-Danger liked nested contingency plans.  Who knows what Lair is capable of?  I bet there's a nutrient bioreactor and a case of Fresh Start kicking around somewhere.  This whole operation has a doomsday prepper vibe.  

So, is the new plan the old plan?  Blow up some shit to show I'm serious, then tell the Optimals to knock it off?  Dang.  The old plan isn't any less shit than was before.  Whether I use a teleporter or nukes, I don't have the smarts or the stupids to back up a global destruction ultimatum.

I could probably leverage my own freedom.  If all asked for was to be left alone, they'd be fools not to take that deal.  I wouldn't need to stay here either.  I could hide the micro-nukes anywhere, have Lair or Lawbot set them off if anything happens to me.  Hell, the nukes are small enough, I could hide thousands in my pubes.  Make my pussy all mutually assured destruction.

I could be the only free person on Earth.  I rub my eyes.  I should just take the drugs.

I make some breakfast.  Drink whiskey.  Smoke.  Clean up a bit.  Get the rest of the ATV's right side up.  Gather up stuff that blew from the cabin.  The beds are trashed, but I rescue as many books as I can find.  The medical equipment is busted.  I collect the boxes of drugs.  There is a box of Fresh Start.

I read a few of the books.  Well, kind of.  It's mostly physics stuff.  Hard to get into.  I drink more whisky.  Get ryed up.  Why not?

I check my phone.  Still no news.  No one on the hypno-clone looking for love.  I open the Optimal app.  More physics.  No thanks.  I open the sex survey.  It's changed.  There's no questions.  Just a big button that says 'Trust Us'.  Fuck you guys.  I press the button.

I sit by the fire with Lair.  I flick off my hypno-clone.  He disappears.  He's just a hypno-clone construct.  I knew that.  How the fuck does he keep the fire going?

I'm poking through the firebox, looking for robot arms, when I hear a helicopter.  I look at Lair.  He looks back.  I shrug.  Go outside.

The helicopter doesn't land.  It hovers about 20 feet up.  A woman jumps out.  She's huge.  Brawny and fierce.  I'm horny and scared.  Is she here to fuck me or fuck me up?

"S'up Candy."  she says.

Holy fuck!  It's Orcette!

I slam into her.  Kiss her all over.  Grab her everywhere.  Cling to her.  Rub myself on her.  Give her the entire squidmaid experience.

She laughs.  Kisses me back.  Carries me into the cabin.  I continue my frontal assault.  She's solid.  I like it.

We get inside.  She sees Lair.  Freezes.  "That's not him."  I say.  "Just his robo-butler."  

She relaxes.  Looks around.  I look around too.  Where am I going to fuck her?  "Yo!"  I yell at Lair.  "Clear the table."

Lair nods.  The micro lab sinks into the table. Lair stands, walks to the door.  "I'll, uh, secure the perimeter."  

Good man.  I flop on the table, pull Orcette on top of me.  We make love.  I'm so happy.  I cry.

Afterwards, we cuddle by the fire.  "We thought the Optimals killed you."  I say.

She shrugs.  "They tried.  I ran.  Eventually."   
  
"I'm so glad you're here."  I say.  "I have plans.  Well, parts of plans.  We can make them into plans.  Do you want to make plans with me?"

She laughs.  "Yes."  Her phone chimes.  "Excuse me, I have to go to work."  She pops a blue pill.  Walks out into the darkness.

I sit in Lair's chair.  I watch the fire until it goes out.  Call Lawbot.

"Set up a meeting with the Optimals."  I say.  "I want to settle out of court."

Lawbot's on the phone for almost an hour.  The Optimal CEO is interested, but wants to meet in person at his head office.  Typical.  Whatever.  "Set it up."

Lawbot talks a bit more.  I zone out.  Eventually, he hands me a virtual invitation to Optimal head office.  Apparently, head office is invite only.  Posers.  I look at the address.  The Sugar Lab?

"What the fuck?  The set up their headquarters at my club?  They took over my lab?"  I frown.  "That feels personal."

"Yeah, I wouldn't bitch about it around Lair."  says Lawbot.

I'm not listening.  I'm looking at the signature authorizing my invitation.  A smiley face with X's for eyes.

"Oh no."

"What?"

"I found Deadman."

"A super-intelligence is only limited by its ambition. If you could do anything, what would you do?"

Megacles has a pretty good life. Also, she is horny, lonely, bored, anxious, and a bit of a drunk. She decides to fix all this with science. It works okay, until she accidentally builds a doomsday device. At least she’s not bored anymore. 

Mr. President has inherited a broke, corrupt, government. Unemployment is high, nobody pays taxes, the healthcare system is collapsing, and the government is using systemic blackmail to cover it up. He has a plan to fix it all, he just needs to steal a trillion dollars to get started.

Super Science and Fast Romance is a near future, science fiction, romantic comedy, political psychodrama. It's fun. It teaches how to fix everyday problems with lasers, evil robots, and mass hallucinations. These solutions work really well. Only a couple people die.

Any money made by this book will be spent on drugs and super hot lasers.

Souichi and the rest of the ragtag group are resting in the spare beds. Sena is tending on Miyuki who is still unconscious. Chie is looking on some charts of the books about human anatomy and a few books on Physics and Advance Chemistry. Nanami is still tinkering on the laptop as she tries to connect to Kyosei who is not yet able to catch up with them. Nejima is sleeping soundly after the attacks of the undead. Souichi is groaning as he keep on staring on the person who let them inside the bunker. He is neat looking middle aged man and looks more clean than them. He is still not yet believing when he knows what everything this guy is spouting earlier.

The middle age man walk cautiously around him as if looking for his faults.

"You are?"

"I... I'm Souichi Tsukishima, Second Year Class A sir," Souichi said politely. He is afraid on whatever status this guy have.

"Ho, so you are Souichi huh? You really look like one that Kyosei has described on. I see, interesting," the middle aged man stroke his beard.

"Uh...excuse me for my intrusion but who are you sir?" Souichi asked, still vigilant.

"I see, many people did not see me anymore after some years. Of course I will be forgotten, excuse me for not being so abrupt on giving my name," the middle aged man looks at him.

"I am Yao Lei, I am a Chinese but I decided to stay in Japan after many years of settling down here with my family after having a conflict in my homeland. I am the founder of Kirishima High School," the middle aged man said.

"W..what? The founder?" Souichi was stunned.

He already heard in the past that the founder of the school is a Chinese and named the school Kirishima in the memory of his deceased wife, Yao Kirishima who is a half Chinese and half Japanese. It was said that the founder disappeared without a trace and nobody knows his whereabouts. But who would have thought that the founder is living underground of the school?

"Surprised eh? Of course you would. Many speculated that I returned to my homeland but the truth is I stayed here. I have still many impending things that are trying to look me bad in China so I decided to live here for now but now I will stay here for good.

" What is this place?!" Souichi asked as he looked around him.

"Before I answer your question, you should let your comrades in first. I know that it is not safe in the surface so get in," Yao Lei said in a gentle tone.

Souichi is speechless but he decided to stop dawdling and he returned to the elevator lift and pulls the lever on the side so that the elevator will return to the surface.

A while later, the group he left earlier arrived underground.

"Is it safe?" Sena asked as she anxious and readies her weapon.

"Yeah, no problems here," Souichi nodded as he readjusts his glasses.

Souichi leads the way since it is dark in the hallway and his phone is the only source of light. In just a matter of steps, they arrive once more to the area where Souichi met Yao Lei. Yao Lei is currently cleaning the place.

"I apologize for the mess around here. Its been a while since somebody visited me underground," Yao Lei smiled.

Nanami got curious on the man.

"Brother, who is this?" Nanami asked.

"This is Yao Lei, the founder of the school," Souichi said.

Yao Lei beckons them over as he prepared a bunker bed with two decks of bed.

"Lay down the girl here, she should be taken care immediately," Yao Lei said as he grab the nearby medkit.

The girls helped Yao Lei redress the bandage on Miyuki's head that got injured earlier. She is still unconscious and gives no signs of waking up yet.

"Is she okay sir?" Chie asked.

"She is still in good condition. She didn't suffer much but she will need to rest for a while," Yao Lei said as he checked the pulse of Miyuki.

Everyone sighed as the heavy burden that worries them is lifted.

"You guys are somewhat lucky to survive. I never expected that everyone is alive," Yao Lei said as he grab some mugs and put them in a tray alongside with coffee and milk.

Nanami perked up.

"Sir, are you a doomsday prepper?" Nanami asked out of the blue.

Yao Lei chuckled as he pours hot water from the thermos to his mug.

"You can say that. I am quite prepared already in apocalypse but I never expected it to happen so abruptly. I heard earlier in the news that Sapporo and Nagoya have fallen in the hands of the infected and the other parts of the country are also in danger of destruction," Yao Lei said.

"Is it due to the Night Rage?" Nejima asked.

"Huh? Night Rage?" Yao Lei was confused.

"Uh, sorry. We call the dangerous behavior of the dead during the Night as Night Rage. We just randomly names it though," Chie said.

"Interesting," Yao Lei nodded as he sipped the coffee in his mug.i

"Actually, I got stunned by that behavior of the dead that the news just reported. I expected that they will move slowly like in the movies Land of the Dead and Day of the Dead, but it is more dangerous in reality. I never expected that you all named the phenomenon as Night Rage," Yao Lei said.

"For what reason are you here, sir?" Sena asked.

Yao Lei chuckled.

"I am fascinated in zombie apocalypse in the past and when I decided to build my own underground bunker. When I build my school, I also decided to put the underground bunker under the school. I will keep on living here in memory of my deceased wife," Yao Lei said.

Souichi felt the sleepiness a bit and Yao Lei noticed this.

"If you wanted to sleep, there are lots of spare bunker beds here but if you don't want to sleep yet, drinking caffeine is also a good thing to let yourself stay awake for a while," Yao Lei said, smiling.

"Thank you, but why are you helping us?" Souichi asked.

"Does Kyosei send you here?" Yao Lei wears a serious face.

"You know Ichi?" Nanami asked.

"Yeah, he is the only one person besides the principal and the janitor that knows my location. He is a good kid but has a bad temper. If you all are his friends, of course I will help you," Yao Lei smiled.

Souichi can't respond to that as he looked at Yao Lei in seriousness. Nanami opened her bag and pulls out a cord.

"Sir, do you have any television here or something?" Nanami asked.

"Yeah, your planning to connect your laptop to the TV? Let's go to the living room since this room is the living quarters," Yao Lei said.

Everyone are stunned. How rich is this guy to make an underground bunker?

They walked and arrived in the living room that Yao Lei mentioned. It is rather unique. The place may be a bit dark but the chandelier gives a rich mood and the flat screen TV is also hanging in the wall to complete the wala set containing the tables and a very comfortable sofa set. Nanami immediately put the cable on her laptop and extends it to the television. Soon, the laptop's screen is also projected in the television.

"Good thing that the electricity is not yet down and the internet connection is still solid though the cellphone networks are to.busy to be used," Yao Lei said.

"It might not last forever. Internet connections are still a manned system and won't be functional if the staff are all dead. Maybe making a private network that can connect to the satellites will do," Nanami said.

The screen flashed and a live news appeared on the Television Screen.

"Currently, the Kyoto branch are also not spared and we lost contact to our reporter stationed in there. According to our aerial scouts, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Kyushu are overwhelmed with the dead after the Six in the evening strikes on the clocks. Osaka, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Fukooka are still on battle against hordes of the infected. The other big cities like Nara, Okoyama and Yokohama are still out of our contact and we can't establish a contact and scouts in the area yet. We also got a report that Australia and America are also hit by these deadly phenomenon and are currently requesting help to the neighboring countries."

The news keeps rattling on and on as several images and videos that are captured using the chopper are streamed in the screen.

"Screw that!" Sena was stunned by the News. " My family is in Kyoto!"

Nejima is also looking with a dark expression. Chie is taking notes of the cities that are mentioned. Nanami is still typing and trying to find an area where someone can be quarantined.

Yao Lei's expression also darkened.

"I suggest you all to stay here for a while though you can't stay here for the longer run. I know you are all worried with your families so I will not pin you down here though this place is safe. We still don't know the future yet," Yao Lei said.

Everyone nodded. Just like Yao Lei said, they won't be staying here for long. They still need to find their families that are around the area. They are only staying in the bunker waiting for the morning.

Souichi looks at his phone. 60 seconds left before midnight. Though he wanted to sleep, he can't sleep at all, maybe due to the effects of the coffee. He keeps on staring on his phone and when the clock display on his phone strikes on Midnight. A very sharp howl of some sort resounded the whole area, which causes everyone in underground bunker to clutch their ears due to the ear piercing howl

Labeled as a delinquent and bad influence, high school student Kyosei Ichinose choose to stay out of the people around him, indulge himself to his headphones, pick fights against other people and stay alone. 

He was later famous for being a dangerous fellow that even his fellow students and his teachers feared him.

One day, everything is normal until the world is now in turmoil after the appearance of a mysterious disease that turns humans into mindless cannibals, infecting humans all around the country in an alarming state.

After receiving a distressed message from his former friend, he reluctantly returned only to find the school overrun by the dead. Armed with his house keys, a revolver and a duffel bag containing a few items to aid the rescue, he returned to the school without knowing why he still need to rescue a former friend.

My third foray into the world of games, today we'll be talking about Valve's 4-player cooperative zombie shooter. I'll be offering a few different possible MC's: One insert character, one reincarnation, and one transmigration. Now I know some of you may say that you could use the same character idea for both rebirth and transference, but I'm trying to be original.

So, just for a frame of reference, Left 4 Dead takes place 2 weeks after Patient Zero was infected, and Left 4 Dead 2 takes place a week after the first game. The first idea for the protagonist is for an in-universe character. My suggestion is for their job to be something in the military, or S.W.A.T.  as this would give him essential experience in fighting and survival tactics. Definitely a high ranking officer, maybe a captain. Obviously, he would also be immune, as there would be no point to making a fleshed out main character who dies in the first 6 chapters. Maybe he could have a bit of a prepper streak, stocking up on bottled water and non-perishable food, ammo, and possibly constructing a safe house, or repairing and refurbishing an old bomb shelter. Eventually, he'll catch wind of the situation and will be recalled by the military, but during transport they get attacked, and he is the sole survivor. Now, if you want to stay in line with the original game, he could find a trio of other people, who will depend on him as the leader. Or you could have him find a single partner(romance, if you like). Also, totally down if you'd like to give him a canine companion, I think dogs in apocalyptic settings are great.

Next up is a tale of rebirth, into a world of relative horror. Usually with these reincarnation ideas, I use fans of the series in question, since their knowledge would help them survive, and I don't see any reason to change it here. Sure, it's possible to just thrust some random Joe into a zombie apocalypse, but unless they're really lucky, they'd most likely die. Now, is it one of those die then wake up rebirths or will the MC meet God and get some wishes? I'm leaning more toward the wishes, but only because they can be limited to only being something within human bounds. So, no superpowers, just enhanced attributes, or immunity to the Green Flu. Maybe he'll be allowed to choose when he's reborn and where, but not which world he's going to.

As for transmigration, I thought I'd do something different, but I'm not sure how you would react. Why don't we take a character from another zombie franchise? Someone like Chris Redfield or Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil. But if that isn't your speed, why not have a gamer wake up in the body of one of the eight survivors? My personal choices would be Francis, Nick or Ellis. I pick Francis the most, but that's just cause I too, hate everything.

So, I have these ideas float around my head constantly. I figured since I'm not using them, someone else could. If you read them and feel like writing about it, feel free. I'd rather focus on my own novel, so they are fair game for anybody. I'd love to read them if they are ever used.

Morning, the White Dragon School was close, and anyone could get in or out. After 3 days of the reunion of the elders they did an announcement for the public, that it's going to start to have a test for the new students with they want to get in. So, the public don't think a lot of this and forget until the results of the last test that anyone had the possibility to enter in the school, so it was a stunning thing that happen. In this time the Sect Master Mu It was teaching Zhao Long about everything he wants to know because he doesn't understand a lot of things about the context of cultivation or about this new universe that he is in now… So, its helped Zhao Long a lot asking the elder the things about cultivation and the world itself. So, at night Zhao Long was clearing his thoughts and start to see the particular skills that he has at this moment.

1-Teleportation: You can use this skill once per year until you fulfill the requirements. 
2- Gravitational field: Use in your body to get strong, you can elevate the gravity in 1 – almost infinite but have requirements too, now I can just elevate until 5000. 
3 – Spiritual Power:   Locked until determined cultivation level. 
4-Mystical eye – unknown.

I believe I have to just focus what I can use right know let's forget about some skills that I can't really use in this moment. Zhao Long thought.

Gravitational field…. I can use right know but is it really good? What's going to happen to me if I always double per day? I have to start right now before dad and mom arrive, I have 3 months until they arrive…

After 3h trying to turn off he did it and was surprise about it because the feeling it was totally different, he could move more easer. He was dumb about this, now he can run 2 times fester then before.

After this he turn it on and goes to do what he usually does in the morning, workout and his daily tasks. 

The daily tasks that he had was read many books about everything can be for medicine or region for he can understand more about the things in this word. 

The period of 3 moth pass by so fast that he couldn't believe, and his parents arrive to get him back to home. He said his farewell to Master Mu and return home, but after this the Master Mu told his parents when he is 8 to bring him back to be a student and they agreed.

"Mom, how is home? Is big like the Withe Dragon School? or its smaller?" Zhao Long asked

"O boy you already talk this much? home is so beautiful you're going to like it, its peaceful. You can enjoy the time there with your brother and sister and play a lot because we have a lot of space." His mom answered.

"Brother, sister? How're they? They're nice? Strong? how old are they?" Zhao Long Asked with surprise.

"Zhao Long when we arrive you going to see by yourself, but they are really strong they can kill you with a slap of a finger" Zhao Ming play Zhao Long

"No waaaayyy they're so powerful? Really? They can fly?" Zhao Long asked with more surprise eyes

"Stop joking with little Long dear he is just 3" His mom said

After 3 days they arrived in the Clan and Zhao Yun was there to receive them.

"uuh? How is this little boy?" Zhao Yun asked in a surprise manner

So, they started to explain everything that they passthrough.

"So, this is a new member of our family, How're you little Long?"  Zhao Yun asked

They get inside of the clan and it was dark already almost everyone was sleeping, so they eat and goes to bed to sleep too but when they was eating Zhao Yun was trying to know a little bit more about Zhao Long so he was trying so make him his friend.

Morning, the weather was perfect it was a spring season the birds were singing and had a lot of vitality the day. When Zhao Long woke up there was a little girl and a boy almost 7-8 years old looking to him with a big smile.

"You wake up little brother! Finally! Did you sleep well?" Zhao Yong asked with a happy smile

"Big brother Yong don't be so anxious he doesn't know how we are" Zhao Shui said

So after some years passed by and Zhao Long was 7 but in this time we knows everything about his clan, good things and bad thing that's what happen there, he was a good soon for his family and they always showed they love for him and he did the same for they, but when he was 6 he told his father if he can go to some place that he could cultivate about almost 2 year for he can make some improvements and his father agreed with that an let him stay in one house in the forest, because this forest don't have beasts that could kill him it was really rare that to happen. In this time when he was there, he elevates his Gravity Field by 5 times per day it was really painful he just rested when he was eating. When he gets used to his condition with the Gravity field, he always practiced martial arts with that he can improve more and more. After 1 year and half he left the house in the forest because he already arrived in his limit 5000 in the level of the Gravity field, so and the time he get used with this gravity he start to think how to cultivate the basic for he can get into the Consolidated Realm but he tried 2 moths and nothing happened so he get angry and leaved that place. After he return home, he finds out that someone was making jokes around with his sister, because he finds her crying in his bedroom and try it to asked her why she was there but she didn't answered so he go out to discover what's really happen with her.

At the park of the clan a group of kids around 7-8 was says bullshits about Zhao Shui that she was a horn and this kind of things, after this they start to show they powers how they improve because it was getting close for the application for the school so they had to be prepper. The strongest of the group was the Zhao Wu he was at the level four of the Consolidated Realm he was considered a genius in the clan. Others was level two and three of the Consolidated Realm it was normal for the people, but in this time when they were talking about Zhao Shui, Zhao Long cloud heart it because his audition it was really strong and he find how was talking about her.

"So, it's you how are saying bullshits about my little sis? Are you not afraid of death!?" Zhao Long said with an authoritarian voice because his father is the actual leader of the Clan.

"I'll give for everyone here 3 breaths of time to apologies to me and after this follow to my house to apologies to my sister, I only going to say this." Zhao Long said with a determined expression

After he said that everyone started to laugh out loud and had some elder how get shock with this sentence, he is really direct to the point.

"What you going to do to us with we don't?" Zhao Wu asked with a sarcastic smile

After hiting Zhao Kuen he run to Zhao Kuan, Zhao Gang and Zhao Chong and give them a direct hit that they couldn't see it, it was so fast for the level of this kids that it was absurd.

After he finish they off, Zhao Long faced Zhao Wu how had an shock expression. Zhao Long get a broom how was close of a shop and goes to Zhao Wu, he goes walking, he had any fear about Zhao Wu.

"What you're going to do with this broom?" Zhao Wu asked in fear

"Ahh, this? I'm going to show you who is the bitch" Zhao Long said with a sinister smile

In the other world he usually saw things that police did for the bandits, so he was going to try the same.

Zhao Long get Zhao Wu neck from behind and lifted him up and punched the broom in the ass of Zhao Wu but he didn't stop from here he did about thousands of times so Zhao Wu was screaming like hell! The elders nearby don't had time to stopped him because already it was too late and too crazy because anyone ever see this thing to happen to anyone in this world.

Bleeding, Zhao Wu was bleeding he was let in the floor with the broom in his ass. When this was happing the Clan members it was getting closer to see what was going on, so after discovering it was the son of Zhao Jian and Zhao Ming how was fighting and the result it was insane. 

"Zhao Long you going to die right now!!!!!!" Zhao Jian scream angry

When the fight already started some elder already send someone to call Zhao Ming and Zhao Jian, but Zhao Jian had arrived faster than Zhao Ming.

"If you can catch me maybe you have a shot." Zhao Long Said with a smile

Zhao Jian with his full speed rush to Zhao Long But when he was almost touching his face he vanish, he teleported  by the side of his father, Zhao Long learn how to use this skill when he was in reclusion cultivation but he can use once in a year so he just going to use when he was almost to die. So he teleported to his father because he sensed him coming to help him, but he was far from de clan when he get the message, when Zhao Long teleported he was in the gate of the clan so this helped a lot.


"Son who you appear here?" Zhao Ming asked in shock

"Father I'm running from Zhao Jian; he wants to kill me!!" Zhao Long rapidly said

"But what did you do to his son? they told me just you too were fighting nothing more." Zhao Ming asked

"They were talking bullshit about little sis and I couldn't handle anymore, and I teach him a lesson." Zhao Long said with sadness tone

"But why he is so angry with you that he wants to kill you?" Zhao Ming ask in a hurry

"I believe it's better you see by your own eyes" Zhao Long said in a sorry way.

5 min after they arrive where Zhao Wu was, Zhao Ming saw the psychical state of Zhao Wu and get shock by it because it was really insane.

"Zhao Long what you did to him?" Zhao Ming asked in a hurry

"I just did the necessary, now he knows who the bitch is" Zhao Long answered

Zhao Ming get a serious face with this answer and see that with someone try to do some bad thing to his family he has Zhao Long to take care of them.


"Zhao Jian going to be really pissed off, I'll try to do my best to help you with this but its better if you go tomorrow to White Dragon School with your sister." Zhao Ming said

Zhao Long agreed and see this is the best way to resolve some things, with the time, because in this world the strong it's the right and the weak is the wrong.

So tomorrow ill going back to White Dragon School, maybe there I can get some answers why I can't cultivate. Zhao Long thought about it.

Why I can't sense any power from my son, why he could do this to Zhao Wu? it's impossible right? Zhao Wu is in the 4 level of the Consolidated Realm…. This kid is so mysterious maybe he can save our clan in the future…. Zhao Ming thought with a shock in his heart.

Zhao Long is 25 years old and always are boring with everything, what nothing keep his attention, so one day he decided to study medicine in another country, because he believed he must do something for the others. When it was an hour before arriving in the city the plane crashed, some people survived in that crash, but when he saw where he were, it was so far from the plane that he can’t catch up and he was bleeding a lot. In that moment an elder came and talk to him.
 “ You’d like to survive this and don’t be more the guy what you were ? But your body I’ll be the same, but maybe gonna change somethings... and it’s possible you to not come back from that place, will be always depending on you. Say yes or No I’ll explain later”.

"Look, I'm not saying you're crazy. But you're crazy! You've been reading too many of those trash novels. I mean don't you think this is all a little much?" Holden gestured around the room, "Like, what the hell do you need an IV for? And a heart minitor? I don't even know what this thing is!" He tossed a small medal cube from hand to hand while glaring at his best friend and flatmate who had the decency to look at least a little ashamed, before a disapproving lab technicians snatch the cube from his hands with a glare.

"Ok, I get that it's maybe a little unnecessary. But it's only unnecessary if I'm wrong and besides it's not like it's costing us anything, hell your boss us even paying us for it. If I'm wrong then the company gets some data on the effect of long time immersion that they'll be able to post. If I'm right then we'll have someone to keep us alive until we escape the game and they'll be the first on the scene with the scoop. Come on admit it, there's no chance we could have bought one of the premium rigs if we didn't agree to be lab rats right?" Gemini lounged against one of the two FIVR pods that were currently taking up most of their living room and locked eyes with Holden who begrudgingly agreed.

Between the pods, the random array of beeping and hissing medical equipment, and the lab technicians testing machines and measuring baselines the apartment had become decidedly crowded. The two young men were sitting by their pods waiting for the launch of the worlds first FIVR game. The news about the game, and the technology that made it possible, had come completely out of left field and was considered a good decade ahead of its competitors.

The FIVR pods were the brain child of a certain space facing CEO who had had the foresight to combine several new technological innovations from the medical and gaming industries and created the first true fully immersive virtual reality system. To the millions of gamers across the globe the release of FIVR pods and PIVR helmets was the next step in the evolution of gaming and the answer to years of gamers wishing for a proper powerhouse to throw their weight behind the development of true VR. In the end it had been the development of software designed to let amputees not only control their prosthetics with a thought but also feel through the artificial limb that had been a turning point. After all controlling a prosthetic is not entriely different from controlling a game avatar, although it is on an entirely different scale.

 Some of the highest profile streamers in the world were already raving about the technology and had promoted the full launch through sponsored streams and beta builds. Ninja alone had had over a million concurrent viewers on his stream and the wildfire had spread from there. An hour away from the official launch and the company advertised more than five hundred million units sold and shipped.

"Alright boys, are you ready to go?"

The two young men looked up to see the woman that would be running the show looking down at them. In her late thirties or early forties she was the head content creater for the gaming magazine and website that was footing the bill for them. Holden was already an employee of the company and worked as part of their marketing team but it had been Gemini that had approached the company with his idea to run an expose on the new technology and the impact of long term immersion. The gaming community were ravenously consuming any content relared to FIVR and the possibility of a dissenting voice from within the industry would be enough to spark peoples interest. Eleanor was a mother of two and had been secretly glad to hear that someone else wasn't convinced by the new tech, and so she footed the bill for two pods and a team of doctors and technicians to monitor the duo. Holden, as an employee of the site and a friend of Gemini's was an easy pick to serve as the companies eyes and ears inside the game.

Gemini locked eyes with his temporary employer and nodded, "We're ready, I hope I'm wrong. But I suppose you'll get more readers if I'm right wont you." It wasn't a question but she responded anyway.

"You're right, but there's millions of people about to log in to this game. For their sakes lets hope this is a bust OK?" She glanced up at the clock and around the room at the support team, ready and waiting, before winking at the duo. "Now strip, it's showtime!"

The two young men laughed and quickly stripped down to their birthday suits showing off surprisingly good physiques for avid gamers, the two friends had worked like madmen for the last six months honing their bodies ahead of the game launch. After all, no one really knew how similar this would be to a traditional game, would the system compensate for a lack of skill or would it be just you, the player, facing off against the world? Either way Gemini had enbraced his inner doomsday prepper and with the companies support had spent six months turning then into the several thousand dollar men, the magazine refused to drop six million on their training after all, and had forced Holden to pick up the basics in archery, fencing, equestrian, forging and even the right way to swing a pickaxe. 

So amid a host of wolf whistles and more than one pair of appreciative eyes the two gamers climbed into their pods, with the help of the lab techs, and settled into the cool nanotech gel.

The lid of the pods closed with a hiss and plunged the duo into darkness where they waited as the gel slowly filled the pod until they were fully submerged in the psuedo liquid. Despite being forewarned they duo both had to fight against the rising panic and fear of drowning, eventually though their screaming lungs forced them both to take a breath and allow the nanno gel to flood into them. Instantly the lights went out as their consciousness flickered out like a candle. Their next conscious thought was a floating image in the darkness that beckoned to them.

Welcome to the game.

Michael needed to buy electronics so he headed to Best Buy. Best buy was one of the largest electronic shop chains in America. After walking in, he was honestly flabbergasted. Everything looked so cutting edge and advanced he felt like buying the whole store. He controlled his impulses and headed to the phone section.

Linda was working at Best Buy part-time in order to pay for college. She was not the best at sales in the department but due to her looks, she had no problem getting by. She was having a terrible week and today was the last chance to finally get some sales before getting chewed out by her boss. She noticed a well-built Hispanic teenager walking towards her department and checking out the phones. He did not look rich but honestly, it was the middle of the day so she did not have many options.

"Hello sir welcome to best buy, How may I help you today" Linda asked while hoping he was looking to buy a phone.

"Well I wanted to buy some electronics specifically a phone and a laptop" Michael replied. He thought the sales girl was cute. Maybe he should ask her for her number. Unfortunately, the skill store did not have a courage skill or that would have been the first skill he bought.

Linda was ecstatic; Best buy policy was that the first salesperson that the customer interacts with gets the credit for all his purchases. Laptops were more expensive than phones so just those two would save her from her manager's lectures. She began showing off all the major phones specifically lingering around the iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy S9.

Michael decided on the Samsung because he likes the customization of android phones. He also decided to buy a satellite phone in case he ever gets stuck in a remote place; his recent experiences taught him to be prepared for the worst case scenarios. Ironically the satellite phone costs more than the smartphone.  It took a while to fill out the paperwork. Michael did not want to sign up for service contracts so he paid for a year of unlimited usage upfront, astonishing the cute sales girl.

Linda led the extravagant customer to the laptop section. He already had $3,000 from the phone department so she hoped he was going to buy an expensive laptop. If he did she might even give him her number, she was not a gold digger but something about the teenage boy was very attractive. He ended up buying a laptop and a desktop. He said he needed it for work. She walked him around the store as he kept buying things. Extended batteries, extra hard drives, and even the latest drones; Linda felt like the customer was some kind of doomsday prepper, buying bulk electronics.

 When he finally finished shopping, his bill came out to be $14,000 and he even paid in cash.
She had to call the manager because she wanted him to check if they are counterfeit and also to show off her sale. He cleared it and she gave him her card.

Michael walked out of best buy smiling mostly because it was nice to not be broke but also because the salesgirl's card had her personal cell number on the back. He did not know if he would call her, as he would always be moving between casinos but it was nice to know he had the option. He walked with his hands full of electronics realizing he probably should have gotten his car first. Luckily he did not get assaulted and made it into his motel. Except for his new cell phone, he put everything else in his inventory.  He was especially excited about his new drone. He realized it could be a lifesaver for recon in combat situations.

Finally, he looked up the nearest Subaru dealer and headed there.

Jimmy was the senior salesman working at Tulsa's Subaru dealership. He was a good salesman because he could always accurately judge customers and take them to the car that would fit their price range. Therefore, he was one of the top salesmen in the dealership. He saw a teenager riding a cycle into the dealership and chuckled. Probably just another kid ogling at the Wrx Sti; "hey kid this is a car dealership, we are only open to patrons. This is not a museum for fanboys" Jimmy hated people who wasted his valuable time.
Michael was helpless; he came to buy a car and was being treated like a thug. He realized he did not look impressive but he still thought the salesman was being too arrogant. He ignored him and walked around trying to find someone else.

He finally found a younger salesman who seemed approachable. "I want to buy a car" Michael tried to get this attention.

Charles was a new trainee salesman. He had yet to get the first sale and so he was very nervous. He was anxiously walking around when he was approached by a teenager. He said he wanted to buy a car. Honestly, Charles thought he was being pranked but he did not have any other customers so he gave it a shot. 
"So what kind of car are you looking for?" Charles asked.

"Well I want to buy a Wrx Sti" Michael replied. He did not want to order a new one as that would take too long.

"Well, we have five Sti Models available right now" Charles showed him the cars. He hoped the teenager was being serious; Sti's sold from the minimum price of $30,000 onwards.

Michael liked the blue Sti with bespoke wheels. He was always a fan of Sti and thought they looked best in the classic blue color. Michael ended up deciding to buy the Sti and a used F-150 truck. He wanted to keep the truck as a spare vehicle in his inventory. After all, he did not have to worry about space.

"So do you want to apply for financing with us? We have great rates" Charles was trying to upsell their financing and hoped the boy would qualify.

"Actually I can just do a bank transfer or write a check" Michael did not need to do financing and just decided to pay with cash.

Charles was shocked as he received full payment with the bank transfer. He heard about rare cases of people paying with cash but this young man just bought two vehicles.

On the way out Michael saw the arrogant salesman from before and smiled while flashing his keys.
Jimmy was confused and went into Charles office; only to realize that he lost two sales because he was being judgmental.

Michael hooked up the Sti and towed it with the truck and drove away. After he drove to an abandoned road, he pulled the truck into his inventory. Honestly, this was the first time he ever absorbed anything this big. He was shocked at the endless possibilities of his inventory. It was not even fully upgraded.

After playing around with the inventory for a while, Michael drove to a supermarket and resumed his shopping spree. He purchased everything from Bottled water to preserved foods in bulk quantities. With today's purchase, he had enough supplies to survive for several years.
After a long day of shopping, he finally got back to the motel. He felt like lately, every day has been busy. The Mental fatigue had accumulated and made him weary. He went to bed without making any plans for tomorrow.

The next day Michael woke up feeling refreshed. It must be the regeneration skill at work. He decided to spend the whole day training and meditating.

Michael was just an ordinary boy living in modern-day America. He grew up in an orphanage with a bleak future. One day he acquired a mysterious package only to inherit a system. Join Michael as he changes his fate and conquers his destiny; armed with a mysterious system that tries to convince him to take over the world.
