My third foray into the world of games, today we'll be talking about Valve's 4-player cooperative zombie shooter. I'll be offering a few different possible MC's: One insert character, one reincarnation, and one transmigration. Now I know some of you may say that you could use the same character idea for both rebirth and transference, but I'm trying to be original.

So, just for a frame of reference, Left 4 Dead takes place 2 weeks after Patient Zero was infected, and Left 4 Dead 2 takes place a week after the first game. The first idea for the protagonist is for an in-universe character. My suggestion is for their job to be something in the military, or S.W.A.T.  as this would give him essential experience in fighting and survival tactics. Definitely a high ranking officer, maybe a captain. Obviously, he would also be immune, as there would be no point to making a fleshed out main character who dies in the first 6 chapters. Maybe he could have a bit of a prepper streak, stocking up on bottled water and non-perishable food, ammo, and possibly constructing a safe house, or repairing and refurbishing an old bomb shelter. Eventually, he'll catch wind of the situation and will be recalled by the military, but during transport they get attacked, and he is the sole survivor. Now, if you want to stay in line with the original game, he could find a trio of other people, who will depend on him as the leader. Or you could have him find a single partner(romance, if you like). Also, totally down if you'd like to give him a canine companion, I think dogs in apocalyptic settings are great.

Next up is a tale of rebirth, into a world of relative horror. Usually with these reincarnation ideas, I use fans of the series in question, since their knowledge would help them survive, and I don't see any reason to change it here. Sure, it's possible to just thrust some random Joe into a zombie apocalypse, but unless they're really lucky, they'd most likely die. Now, is it one of those die then wake up rebirths or will the MC meet God and get some wishes? I'm leaning more toward the wishes, but only because they can be limited to only being something within human bounds. So, no superpowers, just enhanced attributes, or immunity to the Green Flu. Maybe he'll be allowed to choose when he's reborn and where, but not which world he's going to.

As for transmigration, I thought I'd do something different, but I'm not sure how you would react. Why don't we take a character from another zombie franchise? Someone like Chris Redfield or Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil. But if that isn't your speed, why not have a gamer wake up in the body of one of the eight survivors? My personal choices would be Francis, Nick or Ellis. I pick Francis the most, but that's just cause I too, hate everything.

So, I have these ideas float around my head constantly. I figured since I'm not using them, someone else could. If you read them and feel like writing about it, feel free. I'd rather focus on my own novel, so they are fair game for anybody. I'd love to read them if they are ever used.

I wake.  Stare at the new ceiling.  What now?

I can't rebuild the God Machine.  I can build a space lab, but I don't know how to get it working.  I also don't know how to use it.  I doubt there will be a big red 'Build-God-Machine' button.  I'd have to play umpteen rounds of laser roulette with Lair to get it done.  If I won the laser lottery, and didn't get ashed, I'd have to deal with the complications of the tactical space junk.  And then figure out how to turn the God Machine into a teleporter.  All before the Optimals murder me.  Which they almost did yesterday.

At some point this plan went from desperate to stupid.  That's cool.  Failure is part of the process, right?  You haven't wasted your time if you've learned something.  So, what have I learned? 

Well, I've learned how to launch ballistic nuclear weapons.  I could do that all day long.  I've got a pretty well defended base.  If Lair can handle thousands of high speed drones, I figure trespassers aren't going to be a problem.  I suppose they will kill me eventually.  Some kind of poison cloud, or radiation burst, or starve me out.  Maybe not.  Doc-Danger liked nested contingency plans.  Who knows what Lair is capable of?  I bet there's a nutrient bioreactor and a case of Fresh Start kicking around somewhere.  This whole operation has a doomsday prepper vibe.  

So, is the new plan the old plan?  Blow up some shit to show I'm serious, then tell the Optimals to knock it off?  Dang.  The old plan isn't any less shit than was before.  Whether I use a teleporter or nukes, I don't have the smarts or the stupids to back up a global destruction ultimatum.

I could probably leverage my own freedom.  If all asked for was to be left alone, they'd be fools not to take that deal.  I wouldn't need to stay here either.  I could hide the micro-nukes anywhere, have Lair or Lawbot set them off if anything happens to me.  Hell, the nukes are small enough, I could hide thousands in my pubes.  Make my pussy all mutually assured destruction.

I could be the only free person on Earth.  I rub my eyes.  I should just take the drugs.

I make some breakfast.  Drink whiskey.  Smoke.  Clean up a bit.  Get the rest of the ATV's right side up.  Gather up stuff that blew from the cabin.  The beds are trashed, but I rescue as many books as I can find.  The medical equipment is busted.  I collect the boxes of drugs.  There is a box of Fresh Start.

I read a few of the books.  Well, kind of.  It's mostly physics stuff.  Hard to get into.  I drink more whisky.  Get ryed up.  Why not?

I check my phone.  Still no news.  No one on the hypno-clone looking for love.  I open the Optimal app.  More physics.  No thanks.  I open the sex survey.  It's changed.  There's no questions.  Just a big button that says 'Trust Us'.  Fuck you guys.  I press the button.

I sit by the fire with Lair.  I flick off my hypno-clone.  He disappears.  He's just a hypno-clone construct.  I knew that.  How the fuck does he keep the fire going?

I'm poking through the firebox, looking for robot arms, when I hear a helicopter.  I look at Lair.  He looks back.  I shrug.  Go outside.

The helicopter doesn't land.  It hovers about 20 feet up.  A woman jumps out.  She's huge.  Brawny and fierce.  I'm horny and scared.  Is she here to fuck me or fuck me up?

"S'up Candy."  she says.

Holy fuck!  It's Orcette!

I slam into her.  Kiss her all over.  Grab her everywhere.  Cling to her.  Rub myself on her.  Give her the entire squidmaid experience.

She laughs.  Kisses me back.  Carries me into the cabin.  I continue my frontal assault.  She's solid.  I like it.

We get inside.  She sees Lair.  Freezes.  "That's not him."  I say.  "Just his robo-butler."  

She relaxes.  Looks around.  I look around too.  Where am I going to fuck her?  "Yo!"  I yell at Lair.  "Clear the table."

Lair nods.  The micro lab sinks into the table. Lair stands, walks to the door.  "I'll, uh, secure the perimeter."  

Good man.  I flop on the table, pull Orcette on top of me.  We make love.  I'm so happy.  I cry.

Afterwards, we cuddle by the fire.  "We thought the Optimals killed you."  I say.

She shrugs.  "They tried.  I ran.  Eventually."   
  
"I'm so glad you're here."  I say.  "I have plans.  Well, parts of plans.  We can make them into plans.  Do you want to make plans with me?"

She laughs.  "Yes."  Her phone chimes.  "Excuse me, I have to go to work."  She pops a blue pill.  Walks out into the darkness.

I sit in Lair's chair.  I watch the fire until it goes out.  Call Lawbot.

"Set up a meeting with the Optimals."  I say.  "I want to settle out of court."

Lawbot's on the phone for almost an hour.  The Optimal CEO is interested, but wants to meet in person at his head office.  Typical.  Whatever.  "Set it up."

Lawbot talks a bit more.  I zone out.  Eventually, he hands me a virtual invitation to Optimal head office.  Apparently, head office is invite only.  Posers.  I look at the address.  The Sugar Lab?

"What the fuck?  The set up their headquarters at my club?  They took over my lab?"  I frown.  "That feels personal."

"Yeah, I wouldn't bitch about it around Lair."  says Lawbot.

I'm not listening.  I'm looking at the signature authorizing my invitation.  A smiley face with X's for eyes.

"Oh no."

"What?"

"I found Deadman."

"A super-intelligence is only limited by its ambition. If you could do anything, what would you do?"

Megacles has a pretty good life. Also, she is horny, lonely, bored, anxious, and a bit of a drunk. She decides to fix all this with science. It works okay, until she accidentally builds a doomsday device. At least she’s not bored anymore. 

Mr. President has inherited a broke, corrupt, government. Unemployment is high, nobody pays taxes, the healthcare system is collapsing, and the government is using systemic blackmail to cover it up. He has a plan to fix it all, he just needs to steal a trillion dollars to get started.

Super Science and Fast Romance is a near future, science fiction, romantic comedy, political psychodrama. It's fun. It teaches how to fix everyday problems with lasers, evil robots, and mass hallucinations. These solutions work really well. Only a couple people die.

Any money made by this book will be spent on drugs and super hot lasers.

"Look, I'm not saying you're crazy. But you're crazy! You've been reading too many of those trash novels. I mean don't you think this is all a little much?" Holden gestured around the room, "Like, what the hell do you need an IV for? And a heart minitor? I don't even know what this thing is!" He tossed a small medal cube from hand to hand while glaring at his best friend and flatmate who had the decency to look at least a little ashamed, before a disapproving lab technicians snatch the cube from his hands with a glare.

"Ok, I get that it's maybe a little unnecessary. But it's only unnecessary if I'm wrong and besides it's not like it's costing us anything, hell your boss us even paying us for it. If I'm wrong then the company gets some data on the effect of long time immersion that they'll be able to post. If I'm right then we'll have someone to keep us alive until we escape the game and they'll be the first on the scene with the scoop. Come on admit it, there's no chance we could have bought one of the premium rigs if we didn't agree to be lab rats right?" Gemini lounged against one of the two FIVR pods that were currently taking up most of their living room and locked eyes with Holden who begrudgingly agreed.

Between the pods, the random array of beeping and hissing medical equipment, and the lab technicians testing machines and measuring baselines the apartment had become decidedly crowded. The two young men were sitting by their pods waiting for the launch of the worlds first FIVR game. The news about the game, and the technology that made it possible, had come completely out of left field and was considered a good decade ahead of its competitors.

The FIVR pods were the brain child of a certain space facing CEO who had had the foresight to combine several new technological innovations from the medical and gaming industries and created the first true fully immersive virtual reality system. To the millions of gamers across the globe the release of FIVR pods and PIVR helmets was the next step in the evolution of gaming and the answer to years of gamers wishing for a proper powerhouse to throw their weight behind the development of true VR. In the end it had been the development of software designed to let amputees not only control their prosthetics with a thought but also feel through the artificial limb that had been a turning point. After all controlling a prosthetic is not entriely different from controlling a game avatar, although it is on an entirely different scale.

 Some of the highest profile streamers in the world were already raving about the technology and had promoted the full launch through sponsored streams and beta builds. Ninja alone had had over a million concurrent viewers on his stream and the wildfire had spread from there. An hour away from the official launch and the company advertised more than five hundred million units sold and shipped.

"Alright boys, are you ready to go?"

The two young men looked up to see the woman that would be running the show looking down at them. In her late thirties or early forties she was the head content creater for the gaming magazine and website that was footing the bill for them. Holden was already an employee of the company and worked as part of their marketing team but it had been Gemini that had approached the company with his idea to run an expose on the new technology and the impact of long term immersion. The gaming community were ravenously consuming any content relared to FIVR and the possibility of a dissenting voice from within the industry would be enough to spark peoples interest. Eleanor was a mother of two and had been secretly glad to hear that someone else wasn't convinced by the new tech, and so she footed the bill for two pods and a team of doctors and technicians to monitor the duo. Holden, as an employee of the site and a friend of Gemini's was an easy pick to serve as the companies eyes and ears inside the game.

Gemini locked eyes with his temporary employer and nodded, "We're ready, I hope I'm wrong. But I suppose you'll get more readers if I'm right wont you." It wasn't a question but she responded anyway.

"You're right, but there's millions of people about to log in to this game. For their sakes lets hope this is a bust OK?" She glanced up at the clock and around the room at the support team, ready and waiting, before winking at the duo. "Now strip, it's showtime!"

The two young men laughed and quickly stripped down to their birthday suits showing off surprisingly good physiques for avid gamers, the two friends had worked like madmen for the last six months honing their bodies ahead of the game launch. After all, no one really knew how similar this would be to a traditional game, would the system compensate for a lack of skill or would it be just you, the player, facing off against the world? Either way Gemini had enbraced his inner doomsday prepper and with the companies support had spent six months turning then into the several thousand dollar men, the magazine refused to drop six million on their training after all, and had forced Holden to pick up the basics in archery, fencing, equestrian, forging and even the right way to swing a pickaxe. 

So amid a host of wolf whistles and more than one pair of appreciative eyes the two gamers climbed into their pods, with the help of the lab techs, and settled into the cool nanotech gel.

The lid of the pods closed with a hiss and plunged the duo into darkness where they waited as the gel slowly filled the pod until they were fully submerged in the psuedo liquid. Despite being forewarned they duo both had to fight against the rising panic and fear of drowning, eventually though their screaming lungs forced them both to take a breath and allow the nanno gel to flood into them. Instantly the lights went out as their consciousness flickered out like a candle. Their next conscious thought was a floating image in the darkness that beckoned to them.

Welcome to the game.

Michael needed to buy electronics so he headed to Best Buy. Best buy was one of the largest electronic shop chains in America. After walking in, he was honestly flabbergasted. Everything looked so cutting edge and advanced he felt like buying the whole store. He controlled his impulses and headed to the phone section.

Linda was working at Best Buy part-time in order to pay for college. She was not the best at sales in the department but due to her looks, she had no problem getting by. She was having a terrible week and today was the last chance to finally get some sales before getting chewed out by her boss. She noticed a well-built Hispanic teenager walking towards her department and checking out the phones. He did not look rich but honestly, it was the middle of the day so she did not have many options.

"Hello sir welcome to best buy, How may I help you today" Linda asked while hoping he was looking to buy a phone.

"Well I wanted to buy some electronics specifically a phone and a laptop" Michael replied. He thought the sales girl was cute. Maybe he should ask her for her number. Unfortunately, the skill store did not have a courage skill or that would have been the first skill he bought.

Linda was ecstatic; Best buy policy was that the first salesperson that the customer interacts with gets the credit for all his purchases. Laptops were more expensive than phones so just those two would save her from her manager's lectures. She began showing off all the major phones specifically lingering around the iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy S9.

Michael decided on the Samsung because he likes the customization of android phones. He also decided to buy a satellite phone in case he ever gets stuck in a remote place; his recent experiences taught him to be prepared for the worst case scenarios. Ironically the satellite phone costs more than the smartphone.  It took a while to fill out the paperwork. Michael did not want to sign up for service contracts so he paid for a year of unlimited usage upfront, astonishing the cute sales girl.

Linda led the extravagant customer to the laptop section. He already had $3,000 from the phone department so she hoped he was going to buy an expensive laptop. If he did she might even give him her number, she was not a gold digger but something about the teenage boy was very attractive. He ended up buying a laptop and a desktop. He said he needed it for work. She walked him around the store as he kept buying things. Extended batteries, extra hard drives, and even the latest drones; Linda felt like the customer was some kind of doomsday prepper, buying bulk electronics.

 When he finally finished shopping, his bill came out to be $14,000 and he even paid in cash.
She had to call the manager because she wanted him to check if they are counterfeit and also to show off her sale. He cleared it and she gave him her card.

Michael walked out of best buy smiling mostly because it was nice to not be broke but also because the salesgirl's card had her personal cell number on the back. He did not know if he would call her, as he would always be moving between casinos but it was nice to know he had the option. He walked with his hands full of electronics realizing he probably should have gotten his car first. Luckily he did not get assaulted and made it into his motel. Except for his new cell phone, he put everything else in his inventory.  He was especially excited about his new drone. He realized it could be a lifesaver for recon in combat situations.

Finally, he looked up the nearest Subaru dealer and headed there.

Jimmy was the senior salesman working at Tulsa's Subaru dealership. He was a good salesman because he could always accurately judge customers and take them to the car that would fit their price range. Therefore, he was one of the top salesmen in the dealership. He saw a teenager riding a cycle into the dealership and chuckled. Probably just another kid ogling at the Wrx Sti; "hey kid this is a car dealership, we are only open to patrons. This is not a museum for fanboys" Jimmy hated people who wasted his valuable time.
Michael was helpless; he came to buy a car and was being treated like a thug. He realized he did not look impressive but he still thought the salesman was being too arrogant. He ignored him and walked around trying to find someone else.

He finally found a younger salesman who seemed approachable. "I want to buy a car" Michael tried to get this attention.

Charles was a new trainee salesman. He had yet to get the first sale and so he was very nervous. He was anxiously walking around when he was approached by a teenager. He said he wanted to buy a car. Honestly, Charles thought he was being pranked but he did not have any other customers so he gave it a shot. 
"So what kind of car are you looking for?" Charles asked.

"Well I want to buy a Wrx Sti" Michael replied. He did not want to order a new one as that would take too long.

"Well, we have five Sti Models available right now" Charles showed him the cars. He hoped the teenager was being serious; Sti's sold from the minimum price of $30,000 onwards.

Michael liked the blue Sti with bespoke wheels. He was always a fan of Sti and thought they looked best in the classic blue color. Michael ended up deciding to buy the Sti and a used F-150 truck. He wanted to keep the truck as a spare vehicle in his inventory. After all, he did not have to worry about space.

"So do you want to apply for financing with us? We have great rates" Charles was trying to upsell their financing and hoped the boy would qualify.

"Actually I can just do a bank transfer or write a check" Michael did not need to do financing and just decided to pay with cash.

Charles was shocked as he received full payment with the bank transfer. He heard about rare cases of people paying with cash but this young man just bought two vehicles.

On the way out Michael saw the arrogant salesman from before and smiled while flashing his keys.
Jimmy was confused and went into Charles office; only to realize that he lost two sales because he was being judgmental.

Michael hooked up the Sti and towed it with the truck and drove away. After he drove to an abandoned road, he pulled the truck into his inventory. Honestly, this was the first time he ever absorbed anything this big. He was shocked at the endless possibilities of his inventory. It was not even fully upgraded.

After playing around with the inventory for a while, Michael drove to a supermarket and resumed his shopping spree. He purchased everything from Bottled water to preserved foods in bulk quantities. With today's purchase, he had enough supplies to survive for several years.
After a long day of shopping, he finally got back to the motel. He felt like lately, every day has been busy. The Mental fatigue had accumulated and made him weary. He went to bed without making any plans for tomorrow.

The next day Michael woke up feeling refreshed. It must be the regeneration skill at work. He decided to spend the whole day training and meditating.

Michael was just an ordinary boy living in modern-day America. He grew up in an orphanage with a bleak future. One day he acquired a mysterious package only to inherit a system. Join Michael as he changes his fate and conquers his destiny; armed with a mysterious system that tries to convince him to take over the world.

Jack of all trades and master of a few. Kinda OP but not as OP, well really OP, but not so much, just the right amount of OP, I guess LOL. Nerd with photographic memory that after the bumps and turns in his life turned to be a doomsday prepper. We follow his story in his point of view as he sort of narrates everything and talks to himself while the events unfold.

Short spiky black hair, black eyes, fair skin, scar on left eyebrow, multiple scars on right arm covered splendidly by a tattoo sleeve of a dragon that almost extends to his shoulder and hand. Has a calculating look and slight bags under the eyes. Well built and has a weird sense of humor.

Sky's friend from way back in highschool which he coincidentally met in an airport before SHTF(Shit hits the fan). Was a flight attendant before but used to hunt with her dad a lot before for some time and knows a bit about medical procedures since she was supposed to be a nurse. Slowly receiving training to be able to protect herself and those around her and was proven to be a fast learner though already proficient in guns before it all started.

Black hair up to the shoulders, black eyes, fair skin, Well endowed but still well proportioned. Her body is starting to get more toned as she receives training. Has an almost psychic ability to tell if a person is being untruthful and works most of the time.

US Army Veteran. Born and raised in Texas which met Sky in San Diego, California in a convention about their favorite TV Show, "The Pacing Unliving". Oscar introduced Sky into prepping and one way led to another and they both have a built a compound to have a safe haven.

Gray hairs, full beard, blue eyes and fair skin. Barrel-chested and loud as fuck. Strong as an ox though a bit forgetful. Was a combat medic in the army before but is now Sky's brother-in-arms.

looking at the pale girl who is lying on the bed the lord was disappointed with himself he shouldn't have lost his control to the tempting offer he took to much blood from her that she lost her consciousness it will take her a few days to recover 


pushing the hair that was covering her face he kissed her forehead, she is sleeping for more than twelve-hour now knowing that she will not wake up any time soon the lord got off the bed leaving the room he went towards the library to finish some paperwork he left it unfinished 



after about three hours the later the lord finished his work noticing that it was passed midnight he went to check on Althea, the Lord opened the door quietly and entered the room 



" how long you have been awake? " the lord came to sit beside her on the bed when he saw her awake " how do you feel? you must be tired " 


Althea nodded her head and added " and a bit dizzy " her voice was weak, she noticed the worried look in the lord eyes as he helped her to sit " dont worry I will be fine in a few days " 




" I will ask lady Chou to prepper a meal for you " the lord kissed her lips softly before leaving the room


 
" did he said lady Chou oh god " she was very embarrassed how she could face the old lady now

Althea was looking at the lord who was busy feeding her, blowing the steam away making sure that the food was hot for her and every now and then he wipes the sides of her mouth gently its as if he was feeding a child she wanted to laugh so badly right now but held her self back 





" I can't eat more " she felt like her stomach will burst if ate more 



she saw him look at frowning he was not happy she new it " what if I gave this? " the Lord opened the nightstand drawer and took out something 


" it's white chocolate," she said not taking her eyes off the nicely wrapped chocolate, will Althea didn't have many weak points but when it comes to white chocolate that was her weakest points once she sees it, she turns to another person and the lord could say that with his own eyes 



" did lady Chou told you about that? " she asked him while trying to take the chocolate from him but he was faster than her and laugh at her little attempt " that is very mean, " Althea said turning her face pretending to be mad 


" If you not going to finish your food then its time for your punishment " she heard him say



she turned to look at him " w... what punishment " 



the lord didn't reply to her question he opened the chocolate wrapper and took a bite from it, Althea watched him as munched it confused, what is he doing thought to herself 


before she figures out what is happening the lord covered her lips with his. he held the back of her head to prevent her from moving, he fed her the half-melted chocolate carefully with his mouth 


pulling back he whispered in her " eat it, Althea, " and she did right now the lord seemed very dangers and she did not want to disobey him 



" Good girl, now let me punish you for tempting me " the lord whispered with a seductive tone before sealing her lips to feel her heart skip a beat only to start beating fast 


she felt him run his tongue along her lips asking her to open up to him and she did and felt him pushing his tongue inside her mouth tasting her sweet haven. he pulled her toward him making her straddle him not breaking the hot kiss, she felt him caress her body gently as he kissed and sucked   her passionately when he finally let go of her lips Althea was panting heavily the lord gaze darkened as he watched her flushed face her swollen lips and the movement of her chest as she tried to catch her breath he could feel himself harden at the sight that he was seeing 



just when she thought that the Lord will let her go after this she felt him unbuttoning the front of her nightgown her heartbeat quickened " dont be afraid Althea I will not hurt you " the lord said as he unbuttoned her dress slowly still looking in her eyes " can you let me say you, Althea,? " the Lord asked giving her the choice 



Althea didn't how to answer what kind of question is that what she was supposed to say, she felt the lord gaze on her witting for her answer " lord Kaname... " 



" Are you afraid of me?" though he knew the actual reason behind her fears, still he wanted to hear it from her 



Althea lowered her eyes when she heard his question " I'm scared of the past " she admitted honestly 



" then let me replace your memories," the lord said before pushing her the front of her nightgown  revealing her milky skin for him 


he stopped when her she tried to cover herself from his eyes pushing her hands away gently " dont shy away from me Althea " the lord said not taking his eyes off her 



" you are very beautiful " Althea blushed hearing that, she felt him touching her neck tracing a line from her neck to her chest until his fingers rested between her two mounds 



" very beautiful " the lord whispered against her skin before taking the pink nipple between his lips

" Althea " the lord called her when he noticed that she was quiet but she didn't answer 


the poor girl was very embarrassed by what just happened she wanted to dig a hole and bury herself in it 


" Are you afraid of me? " he wondered if his actions frightened her


hearing his question she turned her face looking at him her blue eyes meeting his red ones in his eyes she saw a look of sadness it was the same look she always saw in his eyes since she met him  but she wondered what caused it this time 


lowering her eyes she spoke  " I'm not afraid of you it's just what you did was embarrassing " 


the lord kissed her lips lightly before placing his forehead on hers " I'm sorry but I can't promise that it won't happen again " the Lord whispered to see her eyes widen at his words

Althea is a poor girl working to earn money for her sick mother. she will start working in the pureblood vampire mansion. things will change. for her what will the future hide for her.

" is it right for me to be here to have these feelings, " she said

Staring at the gruesome scene he couldn't help but shiver. No matter what way you looked at it this was not normal, some might say it was a domestic dispute but when you could see the intestines hanging out of the woman's mouth as she ate into someone's stomach you could safely say that it has gone past the boundaries of a normal domestic dispute.
This was supposed to be Cei's first interview after graduating from university. But the scene he was witnessing outside of the interview location had cast some serious doubt on future work life. He wanted to refuse to believe this was some kind of man-eating zombie, and that maybe women just snapped and decided to eat this person… But the more he thought about it the more likely it seemed that she was a zombie. It was hard to deduce anything else as she just looked so feral looking as she just tore into the man, and no less in the middle of the street. 
However, just as he was pondering the potential reasons behind this somewhat animalistic scene before him, he heard a guttural roar as the woman who was just moments before feasting on some poor soul's body, burst into a sprint as she latched onto a new victim who was just meters away. When he heard the roar he was surprised, to say the least, he wasn't even sure a woman's voice went that deep. But seeing the woman who was previously feasting on some guy on the floor suddenly break into a sprint and chase a nearby pedestrian like a dog chasing a bone gave him all the clarity he needed. Because maybe he could believe she was just batshit crazy if it was just one person but two. He was more inclined to believing his 'wild' theory that she was a zombie.
But it didn't matter how much he pondered about what exactly was wrong with this feral woman. But he sure as hell was about to find out, because if Cei Briar was anything he was a man of action. Because nothing in this world could be proven without a little. Experimentation. 
So he began to look around for anything to arm himself with and noticed a small protruding pipe in an alleyway to his left. Although it was slightly smaller in length than a baseball bat it was just perfect for what he was about to do. So he got to work and quietly sneaked away from his potential zombie suspect and went into the small alleyway. Before he proceeded to walk up to the small pipe and slam his foot down, dislodging the pipe from its components and although it took a little bit effort he was still in good condition. Before finally walking out of the alleyway and walking slowly back towards the messy scene on the street.
There he saw the women had successfully taken down victim number two and was enjoying a somewhat gruesome snack. But if he was gonna test his theory he had to get a bit more up close and personal. So he took a deep breath, slightly adjusted his footing and slowly tightened his grip on the freshly dislodged pipe before he finally let loose a somewhat quiet whistle. But on this street, it seemed to ring out clearly and the woman who was just moments ago eating fervorously, suddenly snapped her head up from her food as she slowly turned towards his direction. And when she was fully turned in his direction he could fully appreciate this 'women' in all her glory. Her mouth was hung slightly open and slight chunks of pink could be seen between her teeth which were dyed red by her eating habits. Her face was painted blood red like a badge of pride showing her past glory and spread messily like a badly applied makeup however it was almost impossible to laugh at her appearance. She was just plain terrifying as her face was contorted in an expression of permanent fury as if she had just met her arch-nemesis, but what was most scary about her harrowing expression was that her eyes were glazed over with a slight red tint as she stared at him, like a demon about to drag its victim to hell.
But still, despite her appearance, Cei kept his composure as he looked at the deranged appearance of the women and asked in a concerned voice
"Babe, you're looking a bit rough. Do you want me to call someone."
And just as he had finished speaking She had broken into another roar as she ran towards him like some kind of set 8 kid. It was meant to be some kind of intimidating scene. But he couldn't help but laugh when she ran like that. However, when she was about 5 meters away from him his face changed as he breathed out deeply as she continued to crawl closer to his location with her mouth open and primed to devour him. But just as she was at arm's length of him he dodged slightly to the left and released his taut muscles as he swung his pipe towards her kneecap as she glided past him. A huge cracking sounded out as the 'women' who had missed her target lost her balance and flew into a wall. And as he looked at the scene that followed he was sure that this 'woman' was indeed some kind of zombie. It didn't scream in pain neither did it run away in fear, instead, it continued to crawl towards him with an insatiable hunger plastered all over its face. As it continued to growl and roar in his direction in some kind of pitiful show of power.
Cei was satisfied with his discoveries, as he looked over the zombie with a slight look of disdain, and pulled out his phone as he dialed the emergency services. And when he finally managed to connect to the police service, he informed the police of the situation. And after he had informed the police he grabbed his phone and removed his sim before he smashed his phone and chucking it inside a nearby bin. 
He wasn't stupid he knew something was up with the situation. If someone told him that this was the first appearance of man-eating zombies he would call bullshit. There is obviously more to this situation, there had to have been more cases, he refused to believe that this city was the epicentre. The governments around the world must have some kind of knowledge about this… He wasn't exactly sure what it was, but he was sure he was not the first to know of it so he only informed the police of a slightly censored version of events and destroyed his phone as he didn't want to be caught up in some kind of government cover-up conspiracy.
But still, he wasn't sure what to do from here, he didn't wanna act like some schmuck and tell the world about some impending zombie apocalypse and get tracked down the feds. And neither did he want to go home and prepare like some kind of doomsday prepper, he wasn't even sure if this would turn into a big issue. For all he knew this could just blow over and he would just look the fool for doing all that preparation for nothing, that would suck. 
But he wasn't going to just put his head in the sand and pretend this event never occurred, because it did and at least two people were dead on the street next to him and one was roaring like a retard while crawling towards him right now. Anyway, he still had some things to test before the police came and he had to do it as quickly as possible.
So he quickly obscured his face with a hat he had in his bag and walked over to one of the mauled bodies on the pavement as he placed his fingers on their neck and listened for any breathing. And the result as expected was that the person was indeed dead now all he had to do was move somewhere in eyeline and watch if there were any changes before the police came. 
And so he walked off towards a nearby apartment complex before climbing the stairs to the roof and just lay there as he watched how the scene would develop from here.

He is a man of many faces, a broken man hidden behind an ever-changing mask. However, as the world slowly turns insane, he might soon discover he is that he is the perfect man to lead the world into a new era.

Recently I have noticed that some of you are arguing between each other on the matter of Soren's relations and how big the Harem will get. Firstly, I will say that Soren will not be getting more than 4 members in his Harem, so if you all want to fill up the remaining spot in Dragon Ball, as I have already decided to add Vados to the Harem, then be my guest. Secondly, I only write for fun, this is not my job, I do have a real job that pays my bills so when you spam my comment section with "Answer Me" or "He's Ignoring Me", I'm not intentionally ignoring your comment, there is also a Discord that you have better chances of contacting me with questions instead of comment section. A: No, no matter how many times you ask it will not change. Soren is not the type to think with his penis unlike Harem seeking Novels, and if I just keep getting the same question's over and over, my next book will not be Harem.

Q: Why does the Author not take the Readers ideas and put them into the story?
A: I read all of your ideas and suggestions, but like most, I can't implement them all, and your not giving me much to work with when it's based on increasing the Harem, and as for World Selection, sorry, but I have most worlds planned out, but still take suggestions and might implement them.

A: Who knows, but for now, I will finish off this Fan Fiction, then I will start an original Novel so I can make some money if it becomes famous, but for future Fan Fictions maybe you guys can give some ideas, and if I don't know the Anime/Manga/Novel then I will Read/Watch it before writing a new Fan Fiction.
