Error hasn't lived a grate life, with the horrors of his job constantly haunting his mind he stopped doing many a thing to just feel vaguely okay. 
Ink starts to take notice of this an it makes him question how well he knows the other.

this is based on @Harrish6 Healing What Has Been Broken. The twist is that Error never fell into the void. Yes, I'm aware somebody already has done this but this is my own twist.

"Sona..."

"Dyu I'm so sorry." She said it for 100th time I guess.

"Stop saying that sona, that's okay."

"No Dyu, I should have said you about Raj. I know he is with me just for fun, but I thought he may feel as time goes....,I was wrong...." She started crying.

"I know and its okay sona. You deserve best." I said. I thought they were good but no. Things won't look like what we see. Rohan texted me about outing but I don't know what sona will say? Now she's sleeping. I spent my time with writing poem and reading books. 

"Hey.., sorry I slept for long time." Sona said and its 2:00Pm now.

"No..,that's quite good sona." I felt good reading poets.

"Fine. Let's go out sona?" She looked at me weirdly.

"What?"I said.

"Are you okay?" Sona asked.

"Why?"

"Bcoz you asked to go out dear!!!! Its just out of this small world." Sona said pointing at my brain.

"Get ready soon." She nooded and left. I texted rohan to go with Asin. As she got ready we left to beach. I hope she will get back soon.

"Where you want to go?" I asked her.

"Bar." Sona said. 

"Are you serious sona? Why? "

"I want..." Before she complete we got answer.

"You're atleast fun bitch." I know who is this. Why the world is so small?

"Yeah what ever." Sona said.

"Hai Dyuthi."

"Hai karan."

"You got friends here karan that's great!!!!!!" He said.

"Let's hang out with us. We both are alone." Karan said.

"Yeah that's a good idea." Sona said and why sona?

"Seriously with these bitches?" He said and i shut my mouth for peace. We talked a lot. I mean, I listen their conversation and that guy is totally silent. Sona enjoyed karan company atleast. We went back and slept. I didn't know how the day completed.

"Adrien!!!!!what's with you man?" Karan said.

"What?"

"Talk to your dad." Karan knows everything about my life and he is the only friend of mine as well as my cousin brother whom I can trust blindly.

"No, I'm not in mood to talk with him."

"Are you serious Adrien? I know you're running away from problem. But you know what? its going along with you." 

"I know you're hurt and its been 2 years. Leave that Adrien, sometimes its good to learn from past but no past will have future. You should create your future. Now you're a CEO and I know you're good as CEO but bcoz of that one girl in your past you turned into perfect play boy. First you flirt with different girls but I know you won't take them to bed. But now you became a womaniser. And every girl for you is a bitch."

"Enough karan!!! I'm in goa bcoz of you. You requested to take leave from work and now what?"

"Yeah I asked you to take leave bcoz I can't see you suffering like that. I know your breaking yourself. But that's not the path." I know whatever karan is saying is correct. But the situation through which I'm going is unknown to him. 

"Now let's go." I said.

"I know you just want to change the topic but trust me. One girl is not perfect that doesn't mean every girl is same as her." And he left.

"Why karan? I know, but its not easy to trust someone." He left to beach. Now I'm not in mood to enjoy. It sucks if someone betray you when you love them like there's no one more important then them. Trust....!! once broken it takes life to get back. 

"Where the hell is he?" Karan left and didn't returned.

I went to Beach and found him with those two girls. I don't know how he gets attached to them that easily. Its here 3rd day and from first day these two girls are in our life. First day a fight and yesterday hang out. God!!!!

"Karan.....!" I called and he looked at me like he doesn't know me.

"Hi whatever your name is?" One girl said and I ignored.

"Karan..," I dragged him from them by collar.

"Hey sona sorry...,but 5mins I will be back."karan said to that girl who said hai.

"What now?"he said. 

"Are you seriously angry on me?"I asked.

"Yes of course and why wouldn't I? Do you think I'm only person to listen what ever you say? I do have feelings?" Karan said.

"Fine tell me what to do ?" I said.

"O...,no!!!!sir how can I demand you? You're Mr.perfect." karan said.

"Shut up and tell me what to do?" This time he looked at me and said.

"Are you sure?" I nodded.

"Then participate in tomorrow's trip challenge." A trip challenge???and that too with a partner, karan will be my partner.

"Yup okay." He smiled, but I don't sense good from his smile. Whatever you're in Adrien!!! 

***Next day.

"So, what should we do?" I asked karan and its 6:30Am. The trip challenge will start at 7:00AM.

"Nothing much you should select a chit and find your partner." What the hell?

"I thought we are partner's." He nodded as no and now i got it. 

"You can't back off now." I know and I nodded. I went and took the chit....,no.8. I wish my partner should be a guy.

"Hello everyone. Welcome to Trip challenge!!!! I think you all got your chits. Now find your pairs and start. There's a forest and its totally safe so don't worry. We made few clues and hidden at different places. You guys have to find them and reach the destination. We're not saying the name of destination. Through those clues you people will reach there. First person will get this scooty. I hope you all enjoy." Everyone screamed. Oh no! What I'm got into. Its a whole day challenge and I should spend with that person and whose is that person?

"Excuse me, I got no.8 and I don't know who got the same number." One girl said at help desk.

"Let me help you mam." They said and before they announce I went there and said that's me. But the worst part is the girl!!!!!

"No!!!!" She said. And same goes with me. She is the same girl who fought with me for her friend. 

"Hey Dyuthi. Whose your partner?" sona, her said. So her name is Dyuthi.

"Don't say its him!!!!" Sona said.

"Why you want to pair with me ha?" I asked.

"Yeah its him." Dyuthi said.

"Its okay Dyu...,it's totally okay." Sona consoled her like seriously?

"Hey man who is your partner?" Before I answer sona said and he is happy. But why? Asshole bcoz of you I'm here.

"Guys let's meet everyone at night." And they left. I looked at her she wore track with half sleeves top. Who will wear this at beach?

"Shall we?" She asked and I nodded. We went to entrance of forest and now we should enter our entry.

"Sir, write your name and number which you guys got." The person at desk said.

"I write mine and now you write yours." I said to Dyuthi and she wrote.

"Mam you should'nt be wearing this top its against our rule. If you can't wear something like sports bra. Then you people can reach the destination by following the bridge but you guys won't be part of this challenge." She said and I looked at Dyuthi. Its Goa she can wear something else not this covering her body totally. 

"O my god!!! Dyuthi you got this hot guy? I really feel bad for him. Look at him and look at you. And I think its better if you wear this top. No one can see your body...,I guess." a random girl said and of course Dyuthi knows her.

"Its totally up to you." isaid. I don't know why? But I want to shut that random girl mouth. I think, Dyuthi don't want to change. I started walking towards bridge.

"Sir...." That desk girl called and I turned. But I left speechless. Dyuthi removed her top and she left with sports bra. She is perfect with every curve. Her body is perfectly structured. And that random girl is watching Dyuthi with shock expression. 

"Now you're in sir." I nodded and we both entered forest.

"Not bad but good." I said.

"Uhhh...." She asked.

"You're good." She nodded.

"So first lets find where is the clue?" She said.

"Fine, i will go there and you go there." She nodded and left.

I keep on searching for clue at last I found one after 10 mins. But I heard someone voice screaming.
"Hello there...." I ran towards where I left her and yeah that's Dyuthi who is shouting.  As she saw me, she came running and shouting.

"Are you seriously doing this? If you hate me this much then why do you come to play?" What the hell she is speaking?

"Shut up." I said.

"I won't you asshole. Why did you left me?" 

"I said shut up." This time I said in high pitch and she is silent.

"Now tell me, what happened?"

"What's your name?" She didn't even know my name?

"Adrien. And yours?"

"Dyuthi."

"Bcoz of that your screaming?" She nodded. Crazy girl and I showed her the clue.

"The way you go. You will find the well." She read what is written on it.

"Let's go." I said.

"Yeah let's go." Few others said and I turned. Oh theses assholes are back again.

"That night I think we gave you good lesson." I said.

"Yeah and now we want to write the exam." They said smilingly. We walked few distance and found them following. I don't want any sence now.

"Ahhhh ." Dyuthi screamed and her knee got hit with a branch. And that is bcoz one asshole pushed her..

"Take my help." I gave my hand to support her to stand.

"Now you spray the pain killer and I will be back." I went to them and said a drastic story..,thankgod they belived and left. When I came back to her, she is staring at me as if ready to kill.

"So I kidnapped your family. I'm using you to get the money. I'm using you as my bodyguard ha?" So she heard everything. Yeah, i said that and at first they didn't believe but this happened with my family so I showed them the few pics of what originally happened. When they asked about me here?  I said I'm here as bodyguard.

"You're such an asshole!!!!!" She started hitting and it hurts.

"Ooo women. Stop hitting." She stopped and started walking.

"You don't need to lie for me." She said.

"Listen, its not a lie that happened to me and I used that situation now." I don't know why I said the truth? She looked at me but didnt ask me anything. 

"Hey another clue." She screamed and started running. Crazy!!! But here there are many people. So it may be something which we should think. Last thing clue is about well that means?

"This is about water. " she said.

"That means we should find the place were water is present." I nodded and the guys are looking at Dyuthi like if I left her now they are ready to eat. 

"Dyuthi..." She turned.

"Wear this." I gave my shirt.

"No thanks. Its fine." She said but I said.

"Yeah even everyone are okay around you and ready to eat." With that she took the shirt. We found all the clues continuously and unfortunately we reached destination first. They alloyed a tent for us both and we should share that. Later slowly everyone reached the destination and now its 7:00PM.

"Dyu..,I'm so happy. You won." Sona said.

"Not bad man." She said to me.

"Thanks bitch." I answered.

"let's go and eat." Karan said and we went to eat. After our dinner we came back but we should be with our partner's till morning.

"Sona do you want to join?" The same random girl asked.

"No need jooo.." Sona answered.

"And you hotty?" She asked me.

"Of course bitch." I said.

"But you have to get your partner." She said and I looked at Dyuthi.

"I know she can't do anything. She is a nerd." That joo bitch said.

"Just shut up joo. " sona said.

"What? Did I say something wrong? He helped you but she don't want to play for him." Joo  bitch said.

"You km..." Sona is about to say but Dyuthi answered.

"I'm in." With that we entered the so called game.

"So the game is we ask few questions to one of you and other one should drink vodka shots, if your partner said no for the question which we asked." They started the game and first girl answered and boy took the shots and that repeated with few couples and now it's us.

"Who will answer?" They asked. Before I answer joo said I'm going to answer and Dyuthi nodded..

"Are you virgin?"

"No..." I said.

"Now drink Dyuthi." I turned towards her and she is shivering. But she drank the shot.

"You have high pride?" I said no and she drank next shot. They asked me 15 question and out of 15 I said 8 'no' and she took 8 shots. I hate that I said no to 8things now. She can't able to stand. I took her in bridal style to the tent.

"Why did you accept?" I asked.

"Thanks for saving us. And thanks for being with me today." I didn't get her. I went out and found sona and karan.

"How is she?" Sona asked.

"Now, she is sleeping." I said.

"You know this is the first time she took alcohol." What? O no!!!!

"Don't be shock!!!that joo did it wantedly." Sona said.

"Why she is so silent?" Karan asked and even I want to ask that. I have seen girls who enjoys like hell but she is totally different.

"I know but her past....." Sona said.

"What past?" I asked.

"When we're in btech 1st year. Our seniors arranged a party unofficially. Every boy in class likes Dyuthi bcoz of her simplicity and bcoz of that fact girls hate her. Dyuthi accepted to come to party and we don't know that they planned something else." She said.

"What do they plan?" I asked.

"Sona what did they do?" I asked again.

"As party started everything is normal. Few guys tried make her drink shots but she didn't. When she left to washroom, that guys followed and tried to misbehave. She got out with struggle, but few girls who planned this everything caught her and punched....,even said that she is ugly and looks like bitch many words. Those girls boyfriend touched her like hell and when they are about to kiss Dyuthi, rohan and I reached there. She looked like mess and broken. From that day she only kept silent. Sometimes she's afraid in dark. She learned Marshall arts and i wish her to get back to normal." No one are real and why do they hurt people? Why do they break them? Why do they play with their trust?

"I will be back." Sona Left.

"I think now you got to know not all girls are same." Karan said. I went back to tent and found her sleeping. 

"You don't need to be like this. you're beautiful from....,inside and ....,outside." Adrien stop whatever you're doing is not correct just leave. But its just one night right? I don't want to leave you. I don't know why? But I felt we both are in same page. Don't break yourself Dyuthi. Live your life. Don't get hurt. And I don't know why I'm not feeling sad but after a day I can't see you. I enjoyed today as a normal person. Why did you drink shots? What are you Dyuthi?

***Next day morning.

"Stop moving." I caught karan tight. This asshole never want me to sleep happily.

"Uhhhh..." Now what with this sound? As opened my eyes I found Dyuthi in my hands and she is starring at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Move your hands." Then I realised that I'm holding her. She tried to sit and at last she did.

"Ughhh its paining." She said holding her hand.

"Yeah you had enough shots yesterday and it's called hangover." I said. She searched for something for sometime and turned towards me.

"Can I use your phone for a minute." I gave my phone. She gave miss call to her phone. Nice intelligence.

"Sona where are you?"

"Okay I'm coming." And she ended the call.

"Thank you for everything and bye." She left and I didnt stop her. I reached the room and said karan to pack things as we're leaving now.

"Are you crazy? Yeah you're crazy. You want to leave today? Tomorow we have plan to leave but no, out of no where you want to Leave now.?" Karan said.

"All ready to Leave?" I said.

"Why bcoz of Dyuthi?" Karan asked.

"Shut up and now leave."

"Sona what happened any information about them?" I'm infront of their place. But there is no one here. 

"Dyu..., they left."

"What? But..!!" Wait Dyuthi don't ask anything.
I came to give him his shirt. I heard everything yesterday night. Adrien said he don't want to see me hurt and everything whatever he said. But why did he leave without a word. Did I talk to him or what? I do remember what did he said. 

"Dyu lets go...." He said me to live normal life and those words of him are moving in my head.

*****Ridhi's POV*****

It has been the 4th day since that happened. I am currently not in a position to think about what I'm doing. All I can say is that he came and swept me off of my feet. And now all I can think about is flying high holding his hands. 

I can't concentrate on anything else apart from him. My overwhelming feelings for him is leaving no place for any other thoughts. I smile on my own. I laugh. I cry. And I can't explain the reasons to myself even. 

The day before yesterday there was a seminar at the office. It was about the field study that we did. The 1.5 weeks long study is going to end tomorrow. Since these days I was able to see him everyday. And every time we crossed path I felt like bursting with emotions. Previously it was extreme sadness. Now it's extreme affection. Both make me restless. 

It's 12.30 pm now. Me and Diya are heading towards the cafeteria to have our lunch. Diya is looking emerged in deep thoughts since the seminar day. I asked her and she just bypassed the question. May be something is bothering her but I won't force her to open up to me. She'll share by herself if she needs to do that. 

We order two mixed platters. I like the food here. It's clean and hygienic. Diya is doing something in her phone. Suddenly a girl comes and greets her casually...

"Hey..." 

Diya looks at her and I see her expression changing. It's full of concern now. She looks guarded. She doesn't acknowledge back. What's the matter? 

"Do you remember me? We met that day at the pub. You were with Mr Kim and Jimin. Right?" 

Diya suddenly leaves her chair and literally snaps back, "No, I was not. You're mistaken." 

What is this?? Diya was with Jin and Jimin? At a pub? When did that happen? She didn't tell me anything about it. 

"Haha, don't lie. I remember you very well. You were looking really angry that day. But thank god you left. You didn't witness the mess right after that." The girl says with a sarcastic tone. 

Diya suddenly grabs her hand and says, "May we talk outside? I don't know what you are saying. My friend gets concerned over silly facts. Please clear your confusion." 

"You must be Ridhi. I know you." The girl winks at me. 

Well, now I'm concerned. How does she know me? I ask her, "Do you know me? Because I don't." 

"I'm Atzy. Your friend knows me. Ask her." 

I look at Diya with questions in my eyes. 

"Ridhi, I'll explain later. Atzy or whatever... please come with me. We'll talk outside." 

"I don't have anything to talk to you. I just realized a fact that you don't have the slightest manner to acknowledge a person that you've seen before. Why are you lying?" 

"I am just telling you that if you need to say anything then let's talk outside. Don't involve her. She knows nothing about what happened." 

"Diya, please tell me what's wrong. What happened? What are you hiding?" I ask Diya. I need to know what is she talking about. 

Diya sighs. She lowers her head and then glares at Atzy. 

"Okay, Don't get mad. But I'll tell everything. I just didn't want to concern you." 

"Now you're making me concerned more than I was before. Tell me now." 

"I will. But later. Not now." 

"What's happening here? Miss Kim Ray, weren't you sick yesterday? Are you fine today? Or do you need to go home today also?" Mr Kim Taehyung walks over our table. We didn't notice him before. But he was present here may be.

Atzy looks surprised suddenly. She seems perplexed. She keeps looking at him. 

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you. Excuse me now. I'll go. I have work to do." Atzy hurries and walks out of the cafeteria. 

Me and Diya both look at each other being confused. It looked like Atzy just escaped from the scene right after Mr Kim came.

"Are you both okay?" Taehyung asks us both. 

"Yeah, we're okay. But why did she escape?" I ask him.

"Well, Don't mind her. She is a troublemaker. She loves to break rules and play around. May be she did something wrong and that's why can't face me. Anyway, leave it. Did you guys have lunch?" 

"No, we were about to." I reply. 

"Let's eat then. I have something to talk about." 

I feel awkward. We don't at all know him to have lunch together. Me and Diya both look at each other. Taehyung notices that. He suddenly laughs and says, 

"Well, I know this is awkward that we don't know each other that much. But what I'm going to discuss is something serious. I hope you can understand that." 

"No, no... it's not that. You're in a high position here. Won't it look bad if you sit here and have lunch with us?" Diya tries to lighten the environment. 

"No. Not at all. Our company is a little different. It is an entertainment company. We value people over fake decorum. We're all colleagues here. It's cool." Taehyung says like a carefree person. 

"Let's have lunch then." Diya exclaims happily. 

We go and collect our food and come back at the table. 

"I'll start then. Okay?" Taehyung says. 

We both laugh. Taehyung is a humble person. 

"Yes, sure." 

"Firstly, congratulations on getting our boss's heart." Taehyung suddenly winks at me. 

What? Is this a hot news now? I look around. Suddenly I feel like all the eyes in the cafeteria are locked on me. Everyone knows? How? When? We were supposed to keep a low profile. I feel at the edge. 

"Don't be bothered please. Nobody knows except Jimin and me. You can relax. We're his closest people. We're brothers. We know everything that happens around him." 

"Okay. Thank you!" I feel relaxed. 

"I know it's going to sound scary but Don't get scared. Because we are here to look after whatever happens. But keep yourself safe because you've successfully gained lots of enemies. People who were after Jin hyung will be after you now because you're dating him." 

"Enemies? Jin has enemies?" 

Diya is quietly eating her food. It seems like she is already aware about this.

"Of course he does. Come on. He is a successful CEO and there are lots of people who want his end. I'm just requesting you to continue to keep a low profile so that you don't attract eyes. Because you know it's not always possible to trace every danger that may happen." 

"I don't understand what you're saying. Please explain a little bit." 

Taehyung sighs.

"Do you remember that someone kind of attacked you when you were admitted here? That's Kim Jong-in. He's my step brother. He was Jin hyung's best friend. Something happened and they became the worst enemies. He knows about you and he'll continue to scare you or hurt you. He is vile. Now you know who is your enemy too. Right?" 

What should I say? Being in a relationship seemed like flowers, rainbows, unicorns. I didn't expect enemies, knives and scary experiences at all. 

"Okay. But what happened? Why did they become enemies?" Diya finally asks him. 

"Something too bad happened. You'll get to know about it later. For now, the less you know the more you're safe. It was my duty to let both of you know. Because beside from Ridhi you're also not safe. You already know why." Taehyung says to Diya. 

She sighs and concentrates on her food again. 

I feel like there is something which I don't know. But everyone knows except me. Even Diya. What did she hide from me? Is this the reason that she was looking bothered? I need to know what's happening. 

But one thing that I know is that when I embraced Jin I decided to embrace all of him. And that include his happiness, flaws, pains, struggles, nightmares, dreams and everything. I have the courage to do that. I won't back out no matter what. 

Let the world come after him. I will stay like his shadow even if his own shadow leaves him. That is my love for him. None can deny that.

Chapter 25

Its been weeks since the last time I saw Mark. I know that his on his break right now and it seems like his rumors about dating Sana was clarified and cleared from the media but even so I still havent talked to him. The boys however made sure that they inform me about anything thats happening with them. I've already handed to Doc. Kim all the JYP files and also i've already talked to my lawyer, lets just say that I might just get back to being single anytime soon. 

Kang Jin on the other hand manipulates me in everything that I do, i could say that this past few weeks was hell, I cant even remember the last time I slept for more than six hours. He made sure that my schedule was packed with different surgeries even Chief Park was so mad that he almost went to President Lim and hand him his resignation because he just cant stand any of his doctors being treated like how Kang Jin treats me. His also trying to keep me at his side always, If I dont have any patient he makes sure that I get to come with him during his meetings or dinner. 

I received quite a few calls from Marks parents but I havent talked to them yet. I know I should be talking to them, at least give them some explanation, im sure my lawyer has informed them already. I know that this marriage could have given me my fathers fortune his last gift for me but I guess i wont be able to get that cannow. I guess I love him that much that I am more than willing to give up everything just to protect him. He hasnt called me nor did he texts me after our last encounter. I guess his mad at me, i cant blame him anyways. If I was him, id be mad at myself too. I did nothing but ruin his life. According to the guys, Mark was planning to visit his parents this coming week, they even told me to go with him so we could fix our relationship but they know the reason why I cant. We can no longer be seen together or Kang Jin might get rid of Mark. 

I took out my phone and saw just like how it was hours ago, messages from the guys and also from Minhyuk-ssi flooded my screen. I didnt read their messages because I already know what they want to say or ask. Thats what im good at this past few weeks, ignoring people. 

I checked my schedule for this night and it looks like i have another operation in a few hours. I still have a few hours to rest and atleast have some cup of ramyun.

"Yah! Eunjee! I've been looking for you every where" Doc. Kim shouted

"You could have called me" 

"Would you have answered if I did" she pointed out which is a bit true. I only answer calls from the emergency and from the Presidents secretary.

"Sorry. Do you need something?" I asked

"Someone wants to talk to you and before you react its not the guys or Mark. His hiding in the parking space below. Go meet him. Ill take your rounds" she pushes me inside the elevator. I was sure to object the idea but shes gone all crazy pushing me inside the elevator and pinning me inside making sure to click the groundfloor button and then leaves me. The elevator dings and the doors slowly opened revealing the ground floor. I walked out of the elevator and saw no one until a bright light flashes to me and I saw a car parked on the darkest corner. It flashed its head light again so I cautiously walked towards it. 

A man slowly comes out of the driver side wearing a dark grey sweater and a hat thats covering his face. "Yah! You should come quickly inside before someone sees us both and cause a huge disaster. Get in!" I recognize that voice and I already know why his here. I walked to the passenger side of the car and gets in. 

"Make it quick I still have another operation to do" I told him making him look at me. 

"Yah! Is that how you talk to your friends now?" Minhyuk-ssi said scolding me "Here" he hands me a paper bag filled with food "thought you might need some real food. Your friend told me that you've been working non stop. You should eat healthy when your working this hard" 

"Which friend?" I wondered

"The other doctor. I got her number from the guys since I cant get a hold of you. Shes quite entertaining" he smiles making me raise my brows. 

"Thanks for this. But I have to go now. If you want to say something just say it now" he looks at me with worry but I erased the thought from my mind before my tears starts to gather up. 

"His going back to LA tomorrow. Are you really going to let things get this crazy? You can just simply find another job and then be happy with Mark." He tells me

"How could I even think like that? If I go out and find another job he'll definitely ruin me and Mark. He can just twist a random story and drag me and Mark down. I cant let that happen. Anyways, as long as Marks out of my way, as long as he keeps his distance away from me he'll be fine. He can just keep living like he normally does" I gave Minhyuk a faint smile before wiping the tears that was about to fall. "You should do the same, he might find out about this and uses you too against me." 

"You surely are one of the craziest person I know. Why cant you trust us for once to protect you? He might be some mighty ass billionaire but we are still idols and we also have some connections that can be of great use" Minhyuk explained. He faces me after that before nodding to me and the door "Go. Just stay healthy. Wait and see, we'll save you from that monster" he smiles and i was left astounded. I got out of his car and walked slowly back to the elevator to go up again. 

I kept thinking about what Minhyuk said, he might do somethinf crazy but he was right about one thing. I dont trust them enough.

"Hyung are you sure you're going without talking to her? I mean you two can still fix this?" Jinyoung asked 

I know that they already know about Eunjees decision because they saw the papers when her attorney handed it to me, since then they've been trying to talk to me about it. 

"Whats there to fix?" I put my shirts inside my luggage bag, its not that im giving up, its more of I wanted Eunjee to be free. Maybe if we're not together anymore she might just get the freedom she needs from that guy. Maybe she wont need to sacrifice so much anymore. 

"Hyung! Cant you atleast try and fight for her, even just a little bit?" Jackson said

"Guys" I sighed facing them "If i could i would but this is the only way I know for me to fight with her. If I do something stupid right now like chase her or ask her to stay, that bastard might just ruin her more. I dont want her to feel so guilty every-time we talk or when we are together. Even if im willing to give up everything now how am I going to support her if she'll just feel as if every thing is her fault. I cant keep her if shes just going to blame herself" i explained to them and that must have made them understand me more. 

"Then are you really going to sign those papers? Are you and Eunjee going to really break up now? what about her inheritance?" ** asked 

"I dont know what her plan is but all I can do is trust her that shes doing all of this for a reason. This is the kind of support I can give her for now. I dont have the power to protect her now. Also, i dont want to drag you guys with me if things broke lose. I dont want you guys to suffer and Im sure Eunjee feels the same way" the guys looked at me

"Hyung, i feel sorry that we cant even do anything to protect you and Eunjee noona but we are for you. We'll always support you. Enjoy your break for awhile, we'll come visit you there too in a few days" Bambam said

The other guys didnt argue much, i know how frustrated they are right now and i know they want to help me and Eunjee but just like us, they were also helpless. We still have our careers to protect. They all looked at me as I gather my things to bring for tomorrow. Some of the guys are planning to get home to their own places then they'll go follow me in LA for our world tour. I've already talked to JYP and my vacation was extended until we do our world tour. I wont be back to Korea for at least 3 months because of our world tour.

As for me and Eunjee breaking up, her lawyer is working on it and i've already signed the papers so we'll just wait until the court approves our petition. 

"Guys can you leave me for awhile. I need to finish this up and with you all watching my every move. Its a bit awkward" I lied to the guys, I just wanted to be alone for awhile. Im still thinking about talking to Eunjee one last time but im trying to control myself. Im still not sure what Im going to tell her and im afraid that we might just hurt each other again. The guys left me, giving me enough space to think about everything now. 

I saw my wedding ring on my nightstand, i know what this means now between Eunjee and Me. I opened my phone and just like yesterday or the days before, I was stuck at just looking to Eunjees number, i never text her nor do I call her. Every time I see her name on my screen a lot of things ran through my mind but even so I just cant press send nor the call button. I might not be able to see her again, but i still have a lot to tell her. 
How I wish I still have the time to tell her everything...

I always get what I want and now that Eunjee is finally playing along my plans nothing and no one can stop me now. 

"Sir" my secretary bows in front of me before giving me a small sized envelope. Inside was a letter address directly to me. Inside the letter was my grand fathers seal. This could only mean one thing. 

"His coming back" my eyes grew big and I know that he finds out all my dealings here while he was gone he'll definitely punish me. I was hoping he'd be gone a little while longer since his a busy man thats why I played my plans now. I cant let him find our or else he'll definitely send me away again and that just cant happen. 

I wont let it happen.

*next day* 

I finally get to go home and rest. Today happens to be a miracle to me. Earlier today, Kang Jins secretary informed me that I can have this day to rest. He cleared all mg schedules today and made sure that no one bothers me. Although its quite weird but I didnt complain because I do deserve this rest, i've been working my ass of this past few weeks so I definitely going to make use of this day then I remembered, Today was Marks flight back to LA.

I felt a slight pang on my heart as I got near the apartment. Since I stop talking to Mark I've been staying in the apartment quite often. I still cant ignore the pain and longing I have for him and if I go home to the house and see his things I might just go back to my decision and ran back to him. 

I entered my key password on the monitor and my door opens. I'm not usually home this is my third time going here because like what I said i've been working and working back at the hospital. The apartment was just enough for me, i didnt have the time to decorate more but I know that it looks organize enough and presentable. I sat on one of the couches and scrolled through my phone seeing as I already had enough of messages coming from a lot of people. 

Mom: 
Eunjee-ya? are you okay? 
Why are you answering our calls? Pa and I are so worried about you? 
Eunjee-ya, your attorney came again and told me that Mark has already signed the papers. Why cant you just two make up? 
Pa and I talked to each other and we decided that we will respect your decision. Even if you and my son are not together anymore, I can always be your mom. Ill always support you no matter what. 
Take care of your health always.

Bambam: Noona! dont worry too much. we are taking care of ourselves now. You do the same too.

I keep looking to **'s message to me, he has a point. Right after I revealed to Mark every thing, we just kind of went away from each other, I mean I do want to talk to him but I was never given the chance to have that kind of miracle. 

Even if I talk to him now,  things would still lead me here , right at this moment, feeling alone and unhappy.

I was about to stand up and leave my phone when another message came causing me to stop and look at my phone again. The name flashing through my screen now is also the reason why Im being like this. 

It was a message...I dared myself to open the message and see what he said.

To my dearest wife.
This took me a lot of guts to type and send to you. Also maybe by the time you read this im already flying back to LA. Mom and Dad would have wanted to see you with me buy I guess things just dont go the way we want them to be. 

I felt my heart squeeze in pain again as I read his message, tears are slowly tempting to come out of my eyes. 

I actually wanted to tell you a lot of things but I know that if i tell you everything I might just not be able to let you go. I want you to know that I do understand why you chose to break up with me than fight. I do know why you're doing this. Im not mad nor do I have anything against you. If I can do something to protect you i would but I know you'd just feel guilty about it and i jusy cant have you blaming yourself. 

Tears are now freely falling from my eyes , i just cant help them, I miss him so much and it just hurts me to know that he feels like that. 

I wish I could see you for the last time but i know we both cant do that or he might do something harmful to you. I cant stand the thought of your getting hurt because of me. So please take care of yourself. 

By now I was crying so hard that I just cant help the sobs escaping my mouth. My heart keep on beating fast and its squeezing everything inside me making me breathe more harder. 

For the past months that weve been together, i've seen a lot of your sides and every bit of it holds a special place in me. In my eyes you'll always be my Mrs. Tuan. Im sorry if it took me so long to say this and I know its making me look like a complete jerk because this is not the way to confess but i want you to know. This is one thing that I cannot hide from you.

It took me some time to digest his confession. I was confused, shocked, dazed and angry, very very angry. And yet, he was looking at me like the way he used to before, when we were still a couple, like the break up never happened. Delusional.
Okay, but what the hell was all of that? I really don't know if I should believe him, or maybe this is some story he made up in his drunken state. Okay, better clear this with him now.
"Ethan, what are you trying to say?"
"I don't know. I guess that's just that. You know Cass, my life has been in chaos since we separated. And I don't know why, but all I know is that I need you."
I was angry. I am angry. "Ethan, you're saying you need me now? When did you realize that?"
"I believe when I started a relationship with Cara." He combed his fingers through his hair, a sign that he's frustrated. "I didn't want to acknowledge it that I haven't gotten over you. I didn't want anyone to know that I still have feelings for you. I want them to see me as someone who has moved on and is going very good in life. I tried very hard to believe that. This is not the Ethan I know. This long conversations, this window to his true feelings, I have never seen this before. I don't know what to believe anymore.

The audacity of this guy to say that he can take me back. I'm frustrated, disappointed and angry at this f*cking situation. This is not the Ethan I know. And that sad tone deflated my anger a bit. "Ethan, I'm really sorry. I don't feel the same way anymore. Yes, I do still love you, but it's in a friendly category now. I care about you, like a friend, a special friend. You are still special to me because you have been a wonderful part in my life. But to be in a relationship with you, I don't think I can do it anymore now."
"I know Cassidy. And I'm sorry for being such a jerk and an asshole during these past days. I really don't know anymore how to be with you. I thought sleeping with you was the only way I could be together with you."

And I so, so like to get away from that, but I wanted to be with you. And that's the only thing I thought to let you near me."
"Huh, if I had reached out to you before, if I were not such a jerk and asked if we could try again, would you agree to it?"

I followed Kayla, we walked into a park, while I'm wondering where we're headed, she suddenly talked "Isn't this place a beauty Lala?". Just like this, I know we have more beautiful place back home but we're in Taiwan now, why not appreciate what we can see now. They have a different kind of aesthetics. You get me now?"

I smiled and nodded, she's right, I always tell myself to see the beauty in every situation, not to agonize over something you don't have a control of. Just like me and him, it was a long time ago, but I still feel the pain, I still miss him. I can't just forget him.

I wasn't paying attention to where we were heading, Kayla suddenly stopped, and I bump into her. I looked at the place she's looking at and said "We went here for this? Kaykay we have SunnyHill back home." 

She looked at me angrily "So, we are in a different country, we're not in Tokyo, we're not in a place we hang out when we're in med school." I am not satisfied with her answer, I am irritated, I looked at her coldly and said "Yes you have a point, but why of all places here? You know we almost stay in SunnyHill during our free time, most of our dates was there. So why same name..." I am still talking when she interrupted me " Same name, different places! Wake up stupid!"

I didn't talk, she just dragged me inside. The waiter then gave us the menu and talked in mandarin, to my irritation I glared at my friend and signaled to talk to the waiter, but she ignored me. I have no choice but to ask him if he speaks either English or Japanese. He smiled and talked in English "Hello I am Tan, ready to serve you. Both of you are lucky to have seated right away. Most of the time this place is packed with tourists and locals." I smiled back at him and waited for Kayla to order. She ordered their variety of cake they have.

After some time, Tan served us their free tea and pastry and the cakes we ordered. I smiled looking at the pastry as I tried it, it's tasty together with the tea. The tea calms me, oh I can't wait to devour the cakes they served. Kayla giggled while looking at me "Are you calm now? You're not angry anymore?" I nodded while saying "Now, I know why this place is packed as Tan said, they serve free food."

This made Kayla burst in laughing "You really love food, don't get angry anymore okay? It's just that, you're in a bad mood and I want you to feel better by eating sweets."

"Don't worry Kaykay, I'm not angry, I'm just sentimental for a while. You know that he is someone I wanted to forget. But my memory of him is something engraved in my head and my heart. That's why I have a hard time moving on. I'm sorry."

She held my hand and said "Do you want to come with me in Korea? Do you want to work there with me?" I was shocked and as if time stopped, I felt like I will be alone again. Kayla might see me through, she said "I'm not leaving you behind, I've been thinking for a while now, and I might go back to my parents, they've been nagging me for a long time now. Lala? I looked at her, I tried to say something, but nothing came out, she then continued talking "I know that there are things you can't just leave behind, just like uncle and auntie, they might be your butler and only family left. But don't get angry at me ok, you don't even have time to visit them and your house, so what's holding you?" 

I was speechless, she's right, I've been away from home for a very long time, maybe this will help me forget my first love and everything that's been a weight in my heart. I looked at her and said "I'm afraid… I'm not that competent, I'm still learning many things and I'm afraid that I might not be able to adapt… "

"Lala, you shut up now, I thought you're the one who's stronger here and now you're telling me this? I am childish and you're worst than me." She glared at me, and I know this time she's angry. I don't even understand myself. I'm not the person she used to know. 

I left home due to the happy memories I had and it's tormenting me, for I know Papa and Mama are now gone, leaving me behind. I have Uncle Kenjie and Aunt Nozomi, they're like a family to me, they took care of me, but I left them behind. I don't even bother to look for my grandparents, if I have one, I don't know. And the question what's holding me up, it's really a mystery to me. 

Kayla then flickered my forehead and said, "Stop being absent minded, maybe Lala if you allow yourself to leave Japan, you might find what you're looking for, perhaps you might find your grandparents. I know they're still alive and maybe they're looking for you too. "I smiled at her and said, if they are still alive and know where I am, why left me all alone if they've known my Dad has passed away? You know Dad is quite popular, his death was known to public."

She smiled and said "So, are you willing to come with me?" 
"There you go again Kaykay, dodging the current topic, " She smiled again, I know her, she doesn't want to talk about my grandparents again, she knows that I'm irritated if that topic is brought out, about looking for them and everything that is related to the grandparents unknown to me.
"Okay, I'll try to submit my application." She halted me and said "No, need for application, my Dad scouted you remember? We will start working in his hospital, so don't worry. " 
I smiled "Kaykay, they'll not discriminate there are they? They might say I used my connection that's why landed a job or something." She laughed and said "Stop talking nonsense, you're talented! Be confident! Okay? Where did that confidence of yours go?"
"I don't know, I thought you're the one who don't want leave Japan because of your fear of flying or whatever." She laughed heartily "It's not that scary after all, I have you, so I don't have to worry. It's settled the, we'll leave Japan, I'll call dad when we go back home."
After some talk, we started eating the cake she ordered. The pineapple cake is delicious, the pineapple in inside the cake that is not sour at all. It really tastes good together with the tea, this brought me back to the times, I thought I have found a home, a family I will call my own.

This story is told from the point of view of the main character, I know it might be a boring book, it might be something many readers will not appreciate. But I hope you will find time to read this slow progressing story.

 "What do you mean you're dropping the complaint?" Kyland rebukes as soon as the word drop leaves my mouth.
I sit on the couch, ignoring his sharp voice and eyes blazing like a torch. When Pyke told me who Aaron Gray is, I know I'm going to be under public scrutiny. Pyke was not happy though. Nevertheless, he didn't argue about it. I've no doubt when he said he will stand by my side if I'll change my mind.
"Are you listening to me, Camila? Why are you going to do that? Did Hughes force you to drop it?" He can literally burn this whole apartment with anger. His face turns red, nostrils are flaring, and hands already balled into fists.
"Leave him out of this, Kyland," Bianca says, cutting the tensions in the room. She takes a seat beside me.
"Oh." He raises his brow. "Are you on that asshole's side, too?" he asks with sarcasm.
"No, Kill, but if Cam decided to drop, then we have to respect it. I know it's hard for her to be in a situation like this, so, please, this is what she wants."
"Where have you been?" angry Kyland asks and stops in front of me. I know he won't let it go until he gets the answer, though he knows my answer is going to be obvious.
I lift my gaze up to meet his brown eyes that can slice me in half.
"Don't tell me you stayed with Megan because I know she's still out of town with her boss to meet a client."
That's what I thought.
My heart thuds as my body quickly tenses, "Why are you asking me if you know the answer? You know I'm not gonna lie to you, don't you?" I snap at him.
"Yeah, but you never respect my words, Cam. You've been secretive since you met that asshole. You change a lot, and I don't know you anymore."
"I'm not keeping secrets alone, Kill." My lips quiver. My words almost come out as a whisper. It hurts to hear from him that I've changed in his eyes, where in fact, I'm still the same person who grew up with him.
"She can do whatever she wants, Baby. She's always been a good girl—"
"And suddenly, she wants to be a bad girl now, that's it?" Kyland narrows his eyes to Bianca.
"Kyland, will you stop that? Let's hear why she decides to drop, that's what you wanted to know, don't you?"
I stay silent and just listen to my cousin and Bianca as they banter.
"Hughes is an asshole—a manwhore. He will just hurt my cousin. He will throw her like trash and never looks back once he gets what he wants from her," he responses to Bianca, but his angry stare never misses to throw in my direction.
"You don't know that. You've been his friend and have known him for three years now, Baby. Stop judging him, he may be a playboy, but he never hurt anyone. I mean, he never cheated on them. Those women just wanted to taste a little part of Pyke. Let's face it, Baby, he's a walking god." Bianca giggles, making my cousin growl.
"I can't believe you're defending Hughes over me. And you just compliment him in front of your child's father." Kyland crosses his arms across his chest, scowling at her.
"Yeah, you've said that last week that you haven't seen him with women lately. You laughed at him that his Apa might get an infection. You even mentioned him turning into a pussy. Now, it answers your suspicions."
"He might bang somewhere. He can just pick up or call anyone and bring it to the hotel. That doesn't prove him to be a lesser asshole, you know."
Pyke hasn't been with another woman since we slept together? Kyland still doesn't know about Pyke and Xandry's bet? He punched Pyke at the hospital for that incident alone.
"Yeah, he did buy Cam a two hundred grand car."
Kill roll his eyes. "He doesn't care about money, B, as long as his dick is deep in someone's pussy!"
I groan. "Did you just tell me I'm a whore, Kill? I can't believe you think of me that low. FYI, I didn't take that car. I slept with him because I like him, and I can sleep with any man I want!" I jerk to my feet and stomp to the kitchen. My emotions are swirling inside me with what happened to my life lately.
My eyes sting and start to water. I take a deep breath to stop crying again. My ears perk when I hear footsteps from my back. I don't have to turn around to know who's following me judging by the thud alone.

"Well, I doubt that now," I reply with a scathing tone. I open the fridge and take a can of soda. I flip it open and drain the content into my mouth.
"Why him, Cam?" his voice seems in pain and worry.
I shift my stare at him, placing down the soda can on the countertop. His feature softens, but his brows still wrinkling.
"I don't know." I shrug. "Just so you know, he hated himself for ignoring Bash's warning about Aaron Gray. He just wanted to help get me a job. Stop blaming him, Kill, besides, no one sees it coming."
"Why do you want to drop the complaint?"
"I dropped it already. Do you know what trouble I can get if I will continue this? Besides, who will believe me? He's the grandson of a former U.S Senator. Gray has a billion-dollar empire. Those women he allegedly abused just vanished without a trace. Nobody knows what happened to them until now. Do you want that to happen to me, too?"
"How did you know all these?" his voice softens and wonders.
"Let's face it, Kill, he's untouchable. I don't want to see my face on every page of the tabloids and flashes in every goddamn TV screen because I was harassed by the business tycoon's son."
"I'm so sorry, Cam." Kyland walks closer to me and pulls me into a hug.

I know he won't agree with Pyke and me dating, that's why I didn't accept Pyke's offer. But the thought of me and Pyke together makes my heart beats faster.

"I heard that," B yells from the living room.

I arrived at Aunt Carissa's home thirty minutes earlier, perhaps because I'm driving a beast? It's unbelievably fast and just gorgeous on the road.
I unplug my phone that I charge before I drive here and plan to text my cousin where I am. Pyke and Kyland don't know that I'm visiting Auntie. I thought I want to stay here for a while before I can start searching for another job.
What happened to me was terrible. Luckily, I have people who care about me. I have enough reasons to focus on the positive sides and move forward. I can't just sulk at the corner and blame myself for being so careless while that asshole is living his life to the fullest.
My phone rings on my hand. It's Pyke.
"Babe, where the hell are you? I've been calling you like a thousand times. I was tempted to call Wright because you promised to call me as soon as you get home." My eardrum pierces with Pyke's furious and worried voice.
"Are you done?"
"Done with what? For fuck's sake, woman, don't do that again. I'll pay a visit to your apartment If you didn't answer my call right now. You're not gonna like it if you see me and Wright exchanging blows if he won't allow me to see you, Camila. And neither Megan did answer me."
I hear him huffs. My brows knit in confusion. How did he have Megan's number?
"Babe, are you still there? Answer me or I will track your car and be there before you can blink!"
"Whoa! That's very stalkerish!"
"Now, tell me where are you?"
"How did you get Meg's number?" Crap! My tone sounds like a jealous girlfriend.
"I did not sleep with Meg before you question my fidelity. I'm all yours, Babe. She called me that rainy night. That's how I found you on that road. She said you needed help."
"You mean, that was not an accident? You're not gonna help me if Meg didn't ask you a favor?"
"Babe, I was with Kyland and I left him to come and rescue you before someone else will. Get the point? I came that night because of you and not because of Meg's favor. Still, If I see you that night I will help you in a heartbeat. Now, tell me where are you?"
I notice a black Mercedes and black SUV parked in front of Aunt Carissa's two-story grey house. By the look of them, they ooze power and money.
"Babe?"
"Oh, I'm sorry, Pyke. I'm here in front of Auntie's house. I'll call you back, okay?"
"What the hell are you doing there, Camila?" He sounds alarmed and angry.
"Pyke, I'm visiting my aunt. Got to go. Talk to you later."
I hang up the phone before he can nag me of driving here alone.
Taking a deep breath, I walk to the front porch of my aunt's house. I swing the door screen open with a Christmas stocking hanging at my eye level. She decorated with glittering letter W on the white band. I twist the doorknob of the main door, but to my surprise, it's unlocked.
The memories of my childhood and highs school days make my emotions tender. I remember everything happened in this very living room. Photographs of the Wright family and my photographs are proudly hanging on the wall. Auntie must have bought new sets of couches which are now a cranberry red from the old weathered wood brown.
Oddly, the living room is empty, but there are muffled voices from the kitchen. I cautiously saunter towards them to let them acknowledge my presence.
"I swear to God, this is not how I wanted to end and you know that. I've been trying hard to keep this away from her, but it seemed the fate is playing on us right now, and she's close to finding out by herself." Her voice is shaky. I recognize immediately that it's Auntie's.
Her? Who's her?
"I know, Issa. I'm sorry if I put you in this situation. This is all my fault, I'm the one who told you to keep the truth from her. Now, surely, we are going to break her heart," says a deep, husky, and controlled voice.
No one calls her Issa unless they've known each other so much.
"I know. I don't know what to do," Auntie Carissa says with a sigh.
"I wanted to gain her trust first before I'm going to tell her and she reaches the age to have everything she deserves. How can we convince her when she already thinks her father didn't want to do anything with her?" The man tsks like in disappointment.
"I didn't see this coming. We can't just drop everything to her like that when she's already with Pyke right now," he adds.
My heart aches for how faster it beats. My jaw drops, and suddenly, my world spins. Why do I feel like I know who are they referring to?
