In the reception room, Adams, the President of the NBA, was meeting with guests. These guests were representatives from the major sponsors of the NBA. It could be said that they were the sources of the NBA's wealth.
In the face of these people, Adams did not dare be inattentive. He personally received them in the reception room and listened to their thoughts.
One of the representatives said, "Mr. President, we have a small request. We are negotiating with ESPN with the hope that they will broadcast more Clippers games. The negotiations are not going well, so I hope the NBA can help us put some pressure on them."

Adams understood the sponsor's intentions. He nodded, "I understand. I will arrange for an increase in the nationwide broadcast of Clippers games. This will ensure a high rating. The broadcast schedule for next month has already been confirmed and it has been announced in the United States, so your company's request will not be implemented until the month after the next."
"I understand. Mr. President, thank you very much for your help," the representative from the sponsor said.
However, Adams hesitated for a couple of seconds. He then said, "I have to remind you that, even though the Clippers have managed to go into overtime in almost all of their recent matches, they might not be able to keep doing this."
"I understand this. Competitions are always filled with uncertainty," the representative from the sponsor said.

The two male celebrities and the two athletes were part of a basketball-related variety show, so the two athletes were basketball players. One was the god hand of China, and the other one, a Chinese-American NBA member.
Both male celebrities were basketball enthusiasts as well.
Their interactions with the audience were also related to basketball.
A basketball net was placed in the middle of the stage, where the hosts and the four guests approached it.
"Everyone open your Tao Bao app and go to the 11/11 event page, the event depends if these four can land their shots. Each person will score once, so there will be quizzes in total. If you can guess them right, you'll win a large basketball gift package."
The host outlined the rules for the trivia, then told the four to send out their first player.
"I'll go first."
A guy standing next to Jay Chou volunteered and scored the first shot, causing a round of applause.
Next up was Jay Chou, who picked a further distance, which entered too.
The Chinese god hand and the NBA player both picked a spot outside the three-point line and landed their shots as well.
The interaction was simple, but because they were celebrities, it was much more interesting to watch. 
"It's getting harder."
The interaction obviously wouldn't end so quickly. The host leads the four celebrities to a further distance, about half-court, then stopped, saying with a big smile. "Next will be an extra-large prize, and can be quizzed based on it; if these two basketball players land their shots, one by one. Everyone refresh your minds, you should see four answers. The choices are: both score, nobody scores, one person scores, and the second doesn't. You can begin selecting now, but remember there are only 30 seconds!"
In these 30 seconds, the host allowed the celebrities to try-scoring. They both hit the backboard, but none of them landed. It was difficult indeed.

China's god hand hit the backboard. It landed!
This time, the applause was much louder and their screams were seemingly endless.
It was the NBA player's turn. He curved it, very accurately as well, but once the ball fell towards the backboard, it bounced off the rim and back out again. It bounced with great force and flew into the audience, and with scary coincidence landed in Meng Fan's hands.
"Did it hit you?"
The host asked worriedly. Seeing he was okay, he smiled. "You can keep it as a souvenir."
Before he even finished speaking, Meng Fan had tossed the ball towards them in a shooting motion.
Whoosh!
It landed in the net without touching the rim!
The audience was shocked.
The program director was fast to respond and managed to record the whole process for the stream.
The viewers were dumbstruck as well. What the hell was this?!
It must be staged right?
He was at least an entire basketball court away!
How did he score it?
Is there a master hidden among us?
Huh? Why does this guy look so familiar?!
"Badass, badass! When I saw the basketball land in the iron brother's hands, I knew something was going to happen. Iron bro doesn't disappoint and scored it right away hahaha do you see how terrifying his god hands are?!"
All the students watching from the art academy also recognized Meng Fan. Who didn't know of Meng Fan's incredible shooting skills? He could score from anywhere during the university's basketball tournament!
"666! Meng fatty!"
"Hey, let me tell you about the world record holder for arcade basketball!"
"Stirring up sh*t are you?! Meng host is gonna start sh*t again!"
"Hahaha the laughing frenzy you guys hoped for didn't happen, but the audience is dumbfounded once again!"

Several live comments related to Meng Fan suddenly appeared on all three TV channel's streaming platforms. It seems the online viewers were shocked as well.
"Wasn't this that sand artist from before? How is he also a world record holder?"
"Can we calm down? Can you explain this before blowing him up?!"
At the live venue, Meng Fan was surprised by his own shot as well. In a good mood, Meng decided to distribute some wealth and helped several people buy out their shopping carts.


To reward Meng Fan for his bravery before his heroic death, the cosmos rewarded him with a 'system', sending him back in time to three months ago, alive.

Time went by as I couldn't find the reason for this strange feeling.
After waking up and taking care of business, I headed toward the Liberty Park area that Freddy told me to come to. Since it was only a few blocks away, it took about a 10-minute drive to arrive at our destination. 
There were street vendors scattered throughout the park. It seemed like college students were selling and the people buying were normal people.
"Hmm- You wanna eat this?"
After disappearing for a bit, David returned with corn dogs in his hands with one in his mouth.
"No, I'm fine. I just ate breakfast not too long ago."
"Eh, oh well."
As he shrugged his shoulders, it seemed like David was lost in the atmosphere of the flea market.
All I could focus on was the basketball game that was going to start in 30 minutes. On top of that, I couldn't wait to be able to meet Damian Lillard. 
"David. It looks like it's over there."
After scouting the park a little more, I noticed a basketball court deep inside the park.
Both the outdoor basketball court in L.A and the court here didn't use urethane. Instead, it was an elevated asphalt court. 
"(Hey! Our guest has arrived!)"
Freddy came to me with both arms extended and gave me a hug. The guys behind him did not show any sign of approval. In fact, I think I heard a few of them scoff at me.
"(These are my players.)"
"(Your players?)"
"(Oh my! Have I not told you?)"
As Freddy placed his hand on my shoulder, he started to act extremely friendly and started talking to me.
"(Team Great. We tour the country and make money while doing it.)"
Team Great.
Freddy said he made money through these players. But how?
"(Just as WSU has special players, so do we! That guy over there is the newest addition to our team. Hey, Keenan!)"
Freddy called over a guy that had a fierce look to himself.
A tatted guy started to walk toward us and stared at me as he touched his beard. He looked as if he was going to throw punches any second. 
What was going on?
"(It was quite expensive for me to get Keenan. I gave him my Porshe.)"
"Minhyuk. Hold on."
"(Excuse me for a minute.)"
As David noticed the strange atmosphere, he pulled me aside. At the same time on the opposite end, I noticed faces that I am very familiar with.  
It was Stanley and the WSU players.
"(What the hell is going on...)"
As Stanley saw me, his face immediate turned red with anger and walked toward us. 
I really had no idea what was going on.

Stanley wasn't mad at me. As his face turned red, he went up to Freddy's face and yelled at him.
As people started to gather around to see what was going on, Stanley threw the F-word at Freddy multiple times. 
Leon came to me as this all unfolded. 
"(Oh man. Who would've known you were the guy Freddy was talking about.)"
"(Huh?)"
"(David! Come translate for us!)"
Franklin D. Jones
With the alias Fra.D, Freddy popped into Utah 5 years ago out of nowhere. He was able to befriend almost everyone, but he smiled and talked so much, he didn't even realize the impact he had on people.
His voice could be quite overwhelming.
"(Around 3 years ago? Freddy scouted one of our own players.)"
"(He scouted one?)"
As David was surprised at the statement he was translating, he asked Leon a question and started translating again.
3 years from now, WSU had a very good forward player. His name was Benjamin James, in line to be nominated for the NBA draft. There was a high possibility for him to get 2nd picked.
That's when Freddy approached Benjamin.
Benjamin wasn't in a great situation. The only reason he was able to attend college was thanks to Stanley. He gave Benjamin's family a place to stay. That place is the house you are staying in now.

From 2009, the lower-level NBA salaries were around 5 million dollars. But after taxes, from 1/3 to nearly half of that was taken off.
After fees for your agent, college tuition debt, the players were not left with much.
"(It seems like he got quite a bit of money. He could've made a lot in a year.)"
NBA second-round players' contracts are usually non-guaranteed.
With that being said, players will apply the split system. If you are part of a 15-man roster, you may receive a proper salary, but if your team falls to the G-league, you may only receive 5-8 million a year.
Similarly, taxes and other fees were applied to this amount.
Benjamin, who's been fighting poverty all his life, couldn't resist Freddy's offer and took it and has played for Team Great for 2 years.
"(Just 2 years?)"
"(Benjamin past away last year.)"

In a Brooklyn alleyway, Benjamin James' body was found with knife wounds on him.
"(Stanley was very upset at the whole situation.)"
I learned that once Stanley found out, he threw punches at Freddy. Right at Café Vilebella, the very place I was studying at.
"(That's why this tournament was created in the first place.)"
After the incident with Benjamin, Freddy continued to scout WSU players.
On top of that, he would find undrafted NCAA Division 1 and Division 2 players, offering them a lot of money. But what do these guys do?
"(They do a lot of stuff, but they're definitely not legal.)"
To say what Leon was saying in different terms, they played underground basketball and made their money in those ways. However, that alone was not enough revenue, so they used another method that was easy for athletes. 
As we were talking, I began to notice Freddy was starting to get a little ugly.
"I guess it's a game."
"…"
Even if David didn't interpret it, I could understand what was going on.
Even just in Korea alone, sports gambling made a lot of money. So, would it be safe to say that since America is a much larger country, the scale is larger? I could understand why Stanley didn't like Freddy. No one would want to see students that he taught to be used in such a terrible way. 
But why did he get mad after seeing me?
As I asked this question, Leon once again answered my curiosity.
"(There's another guy Freddy is interested in.)"
"(Damian?)"
"(Haha. Of course not. He's going to be going to the NBA. There's a guy named Atimus McRae. He's graduating this year, and he does seem very desirable.)"
We were told that Atimus McRae is going to be playing for Freddy's team today. If Freddy's team wins today, not only will Atimus be playing for Team Great after graduating, but Freddy will be allowed to continue scouting from WSU.
On the other hand, if Stanley's team wins, Freddy was to no longer steal players from WSU. 
"(But Freddy made one condition.)"
Out of the 5 players, Freddy got to choose one. 
Whether it's a WSU student or not, no matter who it is, he has to accept them. From Freddy's standpoint, there was no need to even have this competition, because you're allowed to scout freely.
It's up to the player to choose where they want to go and Stanley wasn't allowed to stop that. No one really thought this game was going to happen in the first place. 
With a player from WSU, he's intentionally ruining the competition.
"Hold on."
Does that mean what I think it does?
"(It seems like you're that player Freddy has chosen.)"
"…"
I stopped doing everything and took a second to think about the situation. 
He chose a player from the opposite team to play in a game that he has to win?
As Leon said, it would've been expected for him to choose a player that wasn't really good. There's no way I am that player.
"Son of a bitch."
Did I just get disrespected?

Thankfully, Stanley wasn't mad at me for being here. It was because Freddy took advantage of someone who just arrived in Ogden. 
"(Whew. Anyway, let's talk more about it later at home.)"
There was a possibility that he's upset at me.
"(Good. As you guys may know, Minhyuk is our last member.)"
"(I hope we can play well today.)"
Leon was very welcoming to me, but everyone else looked at me differently.
Although I've been recruited by WSU, the players seemed to be a little nervous to play with someone who's never practiced together. I was also very nervous.
I thought it would be a simple street basketball game, but I didn't know there was such huge bet on the line. 
"(Minhyuk will be in the wing. Take it easy on the layups.)"
Leon has spent the most time with Damian, who was WSU's main point guard. 
The second score leader is the combo guard, Davion Berry and the 6'10", 225 pound Kyle Tresnak. They will be playing in this game as well.
2 guards, 2 forwards, and one center. 
Just as Stanley said, layups won't be played much in this game.
"(They may be a street basketball team, but don't let your guard down. In reality, they are a semi-pro level team.)"
They may not be NBA level, but Team Great plays at an equivalent level as WSU. The age range was from 23 to 30, and the veteran players probably will pull off dynamic plays.
As I watched Lillard do his routine with a serious expression on his face, I began to realize this game was going to be taken seriously.
It was a little disappointing that I've never gotten to talk to him.
"(Minhyuk, this game is going to be divided into 2 halves, 15 minutes each.)"

In order to play this game out according to NCAA rules, there was an NCAA referee. As I started to carefully stretch my body, I listened to what Stanley was saying.
David was next to me helping me as much as he could, basically talking about where I was to position myself. I tried my best to focus on what he was saying because we didn't have much time, but I couldn't stop turning my attention to Freddy.
As he showed me a big smile, I awkwardly waved my hand at him. 
'Oh man.'
Something my mother would always say while watching TV.

Shooting Guard - Potentially the shortest player on the team, the Shooting Guard is the team's best outside shooter. Besides being able to shoot well, the Shooting Guard needs to be good at dribbling fast, passing and having court vision by seeing the court.

A few months later, of being undefeated in the basketball high school league. The team was top five in the league, and reporters and scouts started to show up to their games. Eazy had grown a few inches 6'0 and had upgraded his skills too. Now he could use his perfect shot ten times while his time freeze could be used six times.
Rasta, Flo, and Opal were still taking their classes and supporting Eazy by showing up to his games. Sandra had also grown a little bit, and now she was able to move on to the next base with Eazy but still held onto her virginity, which Eazy respected; that didn't mean she still couldn't help him release some of his pent up desires sometimes.Today they were going to play against the best team in the high school Junior varsity league. The tigers which had his nightmare rivals the three bingo's Durant, Westbrook, and Harden. They had stuck together even after middle school and came to high school already trying to dominate it too.Momba looked at the team with a frown and looked at Eazy to see his reaction, but to his surprise, Eazy looked like he was raring to go with fire in his eyes. The game started with Momba winning the jump ball and passing it to Iso. Iso than dribbled hard into the paint and was about to lay it up but saw Durant coming up to block, causing him to smirk and throw the ball behind him in an alley-oop to Momba for the slam dunk causing the crowd to go wild with cheers.Westbrook brought the ball down and tried to make a dunk to get his team excited, but I froze the time and made the steal and ran to the other court while harden was on my trail. I quickly jumped from the three-point line leaning forward and didn't even have to activate my skill to make this jumper, which was all net due to it being a rainbow shot. The crowd erupted again, and Westbrook was just shocked that it happened to him.He quickly shook it off and directed the attack again, but this time he passed it to Durant. Durant then tried to speed pass flex(pf) since he was taller than him, but I froze time once again just to mess with them and stole the ball, causing Durant to look at his hand and not even go back for defense leaving flex open for an easy dunk. I quickly told flex to hold the ball until we got back to the defense because Durant was the only one on the other side.This notion caused Westbrook to grind his teeth because he was thinking of doing just that. I laughed at him and gave him the Mutombo finger shake, saying "no no no," and the whole crowd then erupted at the said time saying "no no no." This caused me to trip and laugh. I did one more time freeze and saved the rest for the end of the game. When they finally got their first point, the score was 11 -2.They didn't even have the fire in their eyes anymore, by half time it was 55-30. They lost all hope and couldn't stop Momba and I. We ended the game quickly after that with the score at 101- 75. They tried to make a comeback after the half, but it was in vain, especially after I crossed harden up, causing him to leave the game with a swollen ankle. It felt so good to get my revenge from Middle School.The game had ended, and a crowd came pouring in as if we had just won the championship. Sandra had to rush up to me and give me a nice kiss on the lips, while everybody cheered around us. The Tigers team just looked dejected at this point. Durant came up to me and said: "good job man, I got mad respect for you." I shook his hand and told him that they did that to us last time and that this game was for the Lost we took back in middle school. He laughed and then left with his teammates.That night we all went to celebrate at a restaurant. We ate, chatted, celebrated, and then went back home to rest for the weekend. The following days went by in peace while the team and I practice hard every day after school. There was in an uproar because we won against the number one seed, I started getting interviews after games, so local businesses started to contact me to see if I wanted to advertise for them.I quickly agreed because this was another way to make some money for the family and our money was running out from years ago, so I picked up some sponsorships and even got on a TV advertisement for a fast-food joint, even though it was not on national TV it was still good to see myself on TV.The next day the team had laughed at how funny I looked at that advertisement, but I paid them no mind because I still got paid, and that's what mattered to me. I continue to set records and beat harder teams. The team was in sync at this moment and unbeatable. Even the varsity coach started looking for me to see if I wanted to join the varsity team next year in my sophomore year.That's rare to get a tenth grader to join the varsity team, it's normally 11th graders and 12th graders, but I was already getting recruited for the varsity team, then again I was not too surprised, but I wanted to go with Momba, so I told him if momba comes along to then I will go. That evening I had talked to the JV coach about going to varsity next year in my sophomore year, and he agreed.He told me to take this chance because there will be a here Bigger stage, with more competition, so I thanked him for all that he did for me then I left. The rest of the year went by, and we were in the finals facing off against the Tigers again. The time I was doing all the training, my skills had gone up again. I was now able to do the perfect shots 20 times, and time freezes 15.I was unleashing hell on everybody at this point; I can feel that my unlimited perfect shot was coming back soon, and when that happened, I might even skip varsity to go straight to the NBA. Still, I know my mother wanted me to go to college, so I might just skip a few grades and do one year in college, then go to the NBA. We had won the finals and taken home the cup for the first time in history. Of course, I was the MVP, and life was good. At this point, I've gotten more sponsorships and deals.
