The defeated opponent's survival seemed to be impossible in normal circumstances but this was under the authority of the Murim association and they had healers for such occasions plus the fighters here all had some mastery over KI. This was not a fight for the weak.
Seeing his opponent knocked out the Jaguar walked away with heavy steps.
'For the children'
"Jaguar, Jaguar, Jaguar!" The crowd cheered for the Jaguar masked wrestler while the man raised his hand towards the people to respond to their calls, making them rise higher.
Jaguar was a luchadores from Mexico who support orphans across the world and he never went without his mask in a fight. He was a well known fighter that had taken part in the tournament held by the Mishima Corporation and become famous around the world for his skills.
He was also well known for his kindness and he used his passion to help children in Mexico.  
Jaguar used to be a street brawling orphan with no care in the world except fighting. In one of his fights, he was grievously wounded and collapsed in front of a monastery. The Marquez priests took him in, saving him from death. After recovering, Jaguar realized the error of his ways and resolved to start a new life. He became a Catholic priest and renounced his old fighting ways. He then became a man with a mission; he dreamed of building an orphanage for street children, hoping to save them from becoming the kind of fighter he used to be.
Jaguar was successful in building an orphanage, but funds were tight; to bring income to the orphanage, Jaguar fought in wrestling matches, donning his now iconic Jaguar mask to conceal his identity and acquiring the title "Beast Priest". It was at this time that he also came to the attention of his future rival Armor King, one of a wrestling Tag Team who also wore Jaguar masks.
As Jaguar continued fighting to fund the orphanage, he came across the King of Iron Fist Tournament, a martial arts tournament with a large cash prize. Seizing the opportunity, Jaguar entered the tournament. When Armor King comes across the tournament and saw his rival participating, he entered, keen to better his rival. The two met in the tournament and Jaguar emerged victorious, while Armor King sustained an eye injury and was forced to withdraw. Jaguar went on to claim third place in the tournament, securing enough prize money to fund the running of the orphanage while he became sparring partner and friend with Armor King.
During the tournament and seeing his rival, Jaguar accepted his passion for fighting as part of his life and finally felt the pressure lessen.
He was also lucky that the system for fighting was finally completed so they got paid good money for their fights.

 Jaguar stopped and looked towards the second floor where he saw a green flash, which bulldozed into its foe and fell to the bottom while leaking electricity.
'Blanka' He thought when he heard the hush and the sound of bones breaking.

"I will fight everyone here so come at me." Naruto announced his attention as he stretched his body and everyone could see him clearly on the screen.
Wearing his orange pants and black shirt above his chainmail, Naruto stood with a confident look.
The crowd cried to let them fight and the organizers also accepted it as they wished to know more about his power.
"The people have spoken; let the participants take down the intruder for an extra prize."
Naruto smiled at those words and intended to take it slow since his memories of his skills had come back. His power had risen directly and he could end this city with a single move if he so wished.
Now he didn't think even Akuma would be a challenge for him and he just needed double it before two years arrive.
'Let us see, how good I am when restrained and fighting skilled fighters.' Naruto thought as his eyes burned with fighting spirit that made his chakra visible, which caused cracks on the floor.

Mika had long, blonde hair with bangs that were tied in two geometrical pigtails and blue eyes. Her attire was blue and white lingerie-like leotard with ruffles around areas such as the collar, the sleeves, and the leg-holes, wrestling boots with white stockings and a white bustier with blue hearts on both bosoms.
Her attire was meant to be flamboyant, so she could stand out from the more experienced wrestling pools and circles. She also aimed for making her arm joints less constricted due to the exposed portions of her uniform around her elbows, shoulders, breasts and buttocks.

Now everyone was here and all the weaklings had been taken care off.

"...Arise…" The words came out of Morgan's mouth as his two eyes lit up with a faint red light.


Swoosh! His shadow burst out, spread, and covered his entire room in darkness.


"What's happening?" It scared him a bit but he still decided to stay calm.


After a moment the darkness rapidly and swiftly rescinded into a dark bubble floating in front of his very eyes.


Curious, Morgan approached his finger and touched it.
 

Plop…!


"What-?" The bubble burst and something fell out from it.


But instead of dodging it, Morgan's hands instinctively caught the thing and held it in front of his face as he took a clear look at it.


However, his eyes widened in shock as he saw what was in his hands…


It was a dog, a puppy, a golden retriever puppy completely dark in color with its two eyes being of a light blue.


But, what truly shook Morgan was actually its name.


[Enma] this name was quietly floating over its head.


The small dog who was just in front of him raised its head and suddenly barked.


"Woof!"


"Ah!" In a panic, Morgan actually wanted to throw it away but when he took another glance at the dog, he just didn't have the heart to...


As he was on his bed, he just put the dog down and looked at it nervously.


"You… You're truly Enma?"


"Woof!"


They weren't talking the same language, but Morgan knew deep down in his heart that the dog was confirming it.


"Is… is that so…"


With much hesitation, Morgan brought his hand forward and started to rub its head.


"...Good dog… good dog…" Looking at it and remembering what it did for him, Morgan wanted to cry again but refrain from doing so.

*An eternity later*


After calming himself and getting used to this strange situation, Morgan took Enma and ran down the stairs, and rushed into his parent's room without knocking…


Bam!


"Mom, Dad! Look-...?" However Morgan stopped on the spot.


"B- B- Baby?! What are you doing up so late?!" Kaede and Adam who was in Morgan's point of view dressing up exclaimed.


Morgan blinked his two innocent eyes.


"What are you doing?"


"Uh, noth- nothing at all…"


"...? We're going somewhere?" The innocent Morgan asked curiously and confused.


"Uh, no no no, cough, cough, we were doing pro wrestling, yeah, a very... hot... pro... wrestling game...heh hehehe…" Adam laughed awkwardly with a weird expression before Kaede stamp on his foot.


"Aouch, aouch it hurts…!"


With that done, Kaede swiftly came to him and leaned toward him, and rubbed his head. 


"Don't mind that idiot okay…? oh? What is that?"


Remembering what he was doing here, Morgan's eyes lit up.


"Oh yeah, Mom, Dad look!" With that Morgan showed the small Enma in his arms to them both.


"... What?! is… is that…?"


Although Enma had changed a bit, his appearance was still the same overall.


"Yes! It's Enma!" Morgan exclaimed in excitation.


"...How, how did you…"


"It says that I can summon him from the valley of death…" Morgan said innocently.


"..." Both Kaede and Adam look at each other in shock.


Adam, who was shocked by what was happening, finally reacted as he laughed out loud.


"Haha, that's good, Weapon summoning as well as Monster summoning!" He exclaimed and rubbed Morgan's head.


"Not bad! Not bad at all, now that's my son!"


But Although Adam was currently laughing in appearance, he was truly shocked and wary of this situation. This late awakening was already extremely strange without speaking about the powers displayed by his son. Weapon Summon, Monster Summon, and Body Strengthening.


Like, what the hell, it was like having three godamm quirks at the same time! 


Although Adam did know of a certain villain with multiple quirks, that man had disappeared for a good while now...


He told them that his 'quirk' is in the form of a game or something, and he could get stronger and stronger… but to what extent? Because even though quirks users too could grow stronger, but, Morgan's way of growing was just way too peculiar after all...


After praising and giving some advice the two parents made him go back to sleep.


"..." Both parents were silent for some minutes before speaking.


"Well, sure enough… our son is inhumanly talented huh..." Adam muttered quietly.


"He… he said Valley of death right?"

However, this thought was rather strange and dreadful… like resurrecting the dead…? That wasn't something a twelve years old boy could truly comprehend for now.


Morgan only found the idea to have an army, cool and useful.

After what Morgan had gone through, the doctor pointed out the possibility of mental trauma and recommended for Morhan to take a week of a break as well as some appointments with the psychiatrist.


As for Morgan, he came to really enjoy those new powers of his and could feel himself becoming stronger and stronger as he continued to increase his stats.


Every day, new sub-quests and main-quests became available and he would rush them.


He also discovered what seems to be some special kind of dungeons that would only be available after having overdone his daily training quests.


Those were vastly more dangerous than basic ones. The last time he nearly died when he went in. He met an enormous Skeleton Dragon! Not a baby but a full fledge one! 


Meanwhile, those he had already finished would be re-available, just like the different levels that a player could replay again and again to perfect his score.


It would give a minimum of EXP and nothing much apart from items.


But, Morgan realized that it could give many opportunities to train his tactics skills, or… it could serve as a sort of outlet when he was in a bad mood.


There was also some kind of magic crystal to collect and exchange in the shop for various special items and even special skills, but they were extremely costly.


Anyway…



5 months passed by quietly and everything was going well… Till that day… 


He had already done his homework for tomorrow and had already rushed through the available dungeons and gained items and skills again.

'Please God or whatever… save my Mom and my sibling… I'll give you my life in exchange…!' Morgan prayed in his heart as hard as he could wishing for a miracle to appear before he heard a very familiar came hitting his ears.

'What? It's not the time now…' Morgan said and was about to swipe the screens when...

At this view, Morgan's eyes opened up so wide as if he actually saw a ghost right in front of his face and his mind went totally blank.


And like every other quest given, a countdown should follow up after it was given… but, before it could even count Morgan yelled.


"Accept!" With that said, he immediately broke out of Adam's arms and rushed outside like a missile.


"Morgan!" Not understanding, Adam did want to chase after him but Kaede was still there.

Morgan was currently running and jumping from rooftop to rooftop like a madman, heading toward the bank which was a kilometers or two away.


He didn't know if it was true… but, till now the system had never failed him before.

The bank robbers were messing around, taking hostages, and of course, robbing the bank when they were contacted by the police and heroes to negotiate things… 


The heroes and police had gained access to the bank's cameras and had a point of view on the hostage.


But things didn't go as the heroes anticipated it, and the bank's robbers threatened to kill one hostage.


"You f*ckers! Do you think we're dumb?!"


"What?! No no, wait please calm down, we're currently doing something about it!"


"If what we demand is not f*cking fulfilled, with every f*cking minutes that will pass, one of them will die!"


"Wha-? No! Don't!" The hero held the phone nervously.


"And we started with one, I truly hope those cameras works!" On the other side, the bandit smiled viciously and pointed his weapon at the closest hostage.


"No!!!"


Bang! The officer and heroes all heard a gun shooting while they saw the scene unfolding through the camera.


However both camps, heroes and criminals all the same were shocked in an instant, especially the villains with the gun…


Teng! The gun that he was tightly holding in his hands seemed to have been hit by a very hard object as it totally flew out of his hand.


"Argh!" He was stunned as he looked at the hostage thinking that it was rebelling but…


He was completely unaware of how and when… but right in front of his face, he saw two red eyes quietly appearing before disappearing again just like a shadow...

However, just as those two eyes disappeared, the villain's eyes opened up wide enough to put apples in.

"Blurgh!" He felt a seemingly very heavy metallic weapon smashing onto his stomach and crushing his ribs violently.

Like a beast being chased by a hunter, the bandits was struck in the shoulder and impaled on the ground.

The heroes who saw this were completely stunned. They were pretty sure that there were no heroes with such a weapon in this town, so…


"Who…?" That was the question...


This fighting style was also very uncommon for them since this 'hero' or vigilante had used a spear, a bow, and a very good fighting prowess.

As for Morgan, just after he was gone out of the bank, his stealth fade away and his appearance was recovered.

 The wrestler left for the shower in a huff.
 The champion spoke, "Don't worry about him, as he just has two-inch pecker syndrome. He was a big politician in the locker room in his day.

This story is about Humble Rumble and his journey to be the best in combat sports.

You didn't bother getting dressed properly after you let Moka feed on your blood. Instead, you just threw on a tank top, a pair of shorts and some trainers and headed on your way.
The path towards Youkai Academy from the dorms was already filled with bustling students. As you walked by them, hands in your pockets, stares and whispers followed.
"So that's Kai Sota? The one who picked a fight with the Public SAfety Commission?" a girl pointed and whispered at you.
"Yeah, that's him, can you believe it? He's supposedly some super monster and he's dating Moka Akashiya, who's get this a Vampire!" her friend replied.
As Kurumu had told you last night, it seemed there was a ton of new gossip going on about you and your girls. Lovely, didn't these people have anything better to do?
"Hey pipsqueak!" a voice like granite called out to somebody. God he was loud, and what a grating voice he had.
You continued on, and would have made your way to your destination without issue, if you didn't feel a decently powerful youki rushing up behind you. A moment later, a large meaty fist landed on your shoulder, "Hey I'm talking to you runt!" that same annoying granite like voice echoed in your ears.
"What?" you glared over your shoulder at the on who stopped you. A huge, muscle bound guy, like you dressed in a tank top and shorts, a towel around his neck.
"The names Chopper Rikishi of the pro wrestling club!" he loudly introduced himself, pulling his hand back to thump himself on the chest, "And you're Kai Sota right? The boyfriend of that chit Moka Akashiya."
"The fuck did you call my girlfriend you piece of shit?" you turned around to face him.
"A chit," he shrugged uncaringly, "Now tell me where she is shrimp, I've got a bone to pick with her!"
"..You do, do you?" you ground out, you right hand clenching into a fist, "And what's that I wonder?"
"I heard the bitch took out Kuyo, the rumour is all around the academy!" he shouted, his eyes narrowing into a glare on you, "I had him as my target, and now she's taken that away from me! So I'm gonna ring her scrawny little neck in his place."
You couldn't help it, you laughed.
"What the hell are you laughing at you scrawny little weakling!?" he bellow, throwing a fist out towards you that warped the air as it shot towards you.
It met your palm and a shock wave erupted from the impact, sending nearby students stumbling away with yelps. You stopped your laughing, "Oh...you were serious?" you replied, clenching your fingers around his fist, he tried to tug his hand away, but to no avail as you compressed your youki, enhancing your strength, "That changes things, you shit head."
That was all the warning you gave, before you lashed out, your left foot connecting with his inner left leg and knocking off balance. "Eh?" he blinked in shock, as you pulled on the hand in your grip and tugged him forward.
Your knee crashed into his jaw before he could recover lifting him up off of his feet. In a blur of blinding speed, you gave him a pair of one-two jabs in the base of his stomach, before spinning and launching a snap kick into his chest and sending him blasting backwards through the air. 
He landed in a heap fifty feet away down the path in a groaning heap of pain. You weren't done though. You casually began walking towards him, igniting the youki compressed along your right arm into flame, covering your arm in an aura of burning fire.
"You know jackass, I don't take lightly to anyone making threats towards my girlfriend," you spoke up conversationally, but you made sure that everyone in the vicinity heard you, "Let's see how much of a big man you are when you've only got half a face shall w-"
Just as you were about to reach him, someone stepped in the way, arms spread wide, a nervous smile on his face, "H-hey K-Kai," Tsukune Aono said, "I-I think that's enough r-right? H-he can't fight anymore."
"Out of the way Aono." you narrowed your eyes at him. Even as something odd occurred to you. When you first saw this guy, his youki was pitifully low, so low it was practically hidden beneath anyone else's in the vicinity. But now...while it wasn't anywhere near as strong as your own, it was nearly as strong as Outer Moka's.
The fuck has this guy been up to?
"Err..d-do you think Moka-san would be happy with you doing this?" the boy said, "A sweet and kind girl like her? I don't think she'd be too happy with you if I were to tell her this."
Ex-fucking-scuse me?

"Whew…" Raidishier released a long, deep breath of what was almost a sigh, but not with any negative emotion. The adrenaline produced by his initial excitement finally wore off after walking around the city for a bit and being disappointed by the scenery, only to be replaced by awe… He was finally here. Within virtual reality, in a game. The emotions buffeting him now most closely resembled what Raid experienced after working at his first part-time job for a few months, when he finally had his own money to spend on whatever he wanted. To celebrate that first step into adulthood, his parents dropped him off at the mall with Michael and Angela for a couple hours, where Raid felt a brand-new form of freedom. 

A freedom not from responsibilities or the like, but one that meant he was no longer being coddled as a child. Similarly, Raid now found himself within an entirely new world by himself. No parents present to guide him. No chaperone to watch over him. And for some hours, not even any friends to share the experience with.

None of that was bad, it was just...new. And a little overwhelming.

Eventually, Raidishier's reverie ended and he was brought back to the present. He had just created a character, appeared in the Spawn Building where players received an optional video tutorial, skipped the tutorial which he'd seen on YouTube, distributed his stat points, walked through Beginnerville for a little bit, and now sat on a bench next to a water fountain.

The starting location for the entire playerbase of Authority Fought For, Beginnerville, was nothing particularly interesting--save for its size, which was comparable to the largest cities of the real world. Beginnerville mirrored every traditional medieval European town to appear in media anywhere, which was disappointing to Raid, who appreciated when game designers went out of their way to represent uncommon or original architecture and culture. Fortunately, according to player reports on YouTube and the forums, original stuff like that did appear outside of the beginner city...but unfortunately, Raidishier probably wouldn't be going to any of those places soon, given his unique plans for progression.

The teen pulled his virtual phone--which sported the Aff logo when on standby--out of his virtual pocket to check the in-game time. The appointed meeting time was 8, so he had...over three hours to himself. Neat. He hadn't spent long creating his avatar at all.

'I should check my weapon out.'

Raidishier pushed all other thoughts to the back of his mind as he reached for the inventory pouch--which every new player spawned with--hanging from his left hip. When his hand entered the pouch a translucent screen appeared in only his vision, floating within arm's reach in front of him. The inventory pouch contained 10 slots, and only two slots to the left were filled--one by a coiled mass, and the other by bread. With a mental tug Raidishier selected his weapon, and his hand suddenly felt the texture of a flexible leather handle in its grip, which he pulled out of the pouch.

"This is awesome," Raidishier whispered to himself with eyes wide, floored by how magical it felt to pull the whip from his inventory, which now resided within his grasp. Bullwhip, specifically. Unadorned, made solely from leather, and seemingly not in top condition. Perhaps because it was a starter weapon the bullwhip looked a bit frayed and weathered, as though it had been used for years. It was likely encouragement for new players to seek out better equipment, just like how they received no armor or special robes at the start, forcing them to carefully invest in their first gear.

"Interesting," he spoke to himself again, getting a feel for the bullwhip's grip by experimentally waving the weapon. However, he was seated within a crowded space and obviously couldn't extend it to its full length of two, maybe three meters for an attempt at cracking it. That would probably be a crime. He'd have to test it out in a training field and maybe ask a few people to spar with him. Although Raidishier--like all hot-blooded teens--wanted to overestimate his talent for combat and confidently stroll into the wilderness to slaughter monsters, he held himself back. He'd hear no end of it from Angela and Michael if he died within an hour of entering the game. 

Suddenly, while Raidishier moved to place his bullwhip back into his inventory, a player he assumed was previously just passing by called out to him.

"Oi, Raidishier," the man wearing starry robes said. When he got Raid's attention, the man gestured to the bullwhip with a jut of his chin. "That's a whip, so you're a Monster Tamer. You know what you're getting yourself into?"

Raidishier focused on the Celestial Mage before him, causing a username and number to materialize above his head.

"I do. I read all about the Classes in the forums," the teen replied with a smile, holding up the bullwhip. "The fun is in the difficulty."

"Won't be fun when nobody wants to party with you. Delete now and you'll only have to wait like, three IRL days before you can make a new character," the Level 3 Celestial Mage commented, his expression neutral. 

Raidishier's smile brightened after confirming that the man's intentions were good, even if he didn't care too much if his advice was followed. That was much better than encountering some rando whose day wasn't too great and looked to take pleasure from mocking others.

"I have IRL friends to play with, but thanks for the concern, Yugahar." Raidishier dismissed his whip into his inventory and stood from the bench, ending the conversation. He genuinely appreciated the concern from the stranger, but nothing would come of continuing the interaction. Not only wasn't the man open to the idea that Monster Tamer was a valid Class choice, but their brief exchange attracted the attention of a few more passerby players, some of whom seemed exactly like the type to mock others. One Tinkerer in particular, covered in inventory bags and wearing generic smithy wear, held a smirk and seemed ready to enter the conversation.

The Celestial Mage opened his mouth to comment further, but ultimately decided against whatever he was going to say, instead giving his farewells with, "Good luck, then," as Raidishier made to leave the plaza.

'A good first impression of the playerbase,' Raidishier thought to himself as he checked the Beginnerville map on his phone. 'Much better than what I was prepared for.'

In truth, the boy wouldn't have been surprised if after revealing his bullwhip in public many more random players than just that Tinkerer had something potentially malicious to say. After only just an in-game month his chosen Class was notorious in the Aff community for its ambiguous instructions on proper use. Or to be more precise, the complete lack of instructions.

Aff did not have Class tutorials or anything of the like. There were methods of obtaining training from NPCs for weapons and skills mastery, but so far, no NPCs had been found to give anything more. The most popular theory was that stuff like that would only be available after players attained a certain benchmark--maybe Level 10--so that nobody would be forced into a playstyle they didn't like, but no one knew for sure.

The lack of Class information being the norm didn't affect the other five Classes, however. Only Monster Tamer, because everything else was quite intuitive. Warriors fought using melee means, Tinkerers learned crafting skills by experimenting and learning crafts from NPCs, for the most part Sorcerers and Celestial Mages memorized incantations, and Bards learned to play simple musical pieces with instruments and sometimes songs that produced various effects. Monster Tamers, on the other hand, gained most of their combative potential through taming creatures governed by sophisticated AI. Sure, they had their own melee weapons and access to some common magic, but without a monster at their side they were effectively useless compared to the other Classes.

And how were monsters tamed? That was the entire problem. Raid read through the forums and watched everything on YouTube, but if any Monster Tamers had been fully successful, they hadn't let it be known. Everyone had at first just assumed that taming would be similar to how Pokemon worked--that once a monster was near death it could be tamed using the Taming spell, but...that wasn't the case at all. That news wasn't too bad by itself because it meant the developers had put more thought into the Class than expected, and the playerbase would need to get more creative. Yet... The plights of three specific creative players in particular showcased why the Monster Tamer Class wasn't seen fondly.

Kylo was the first Monster Tamer whose failure became viral in the community when he--a pro wrestler in real life--dumped all his stat points into Strength and Vitality and attempted wrestling various monsters into submission. The Aff community showed their support by overwhelming his posts with encouraging comments, but everyone soon became disappointed when, after days and days of attempts, no monsters submitted to the Taming magic, apparently because his Intelligence was too low. Kylo eventually managed to tame a bear two days before Raid joined Aff, but only because the specific creature type he wrestled was one that utilized wrestling in combat. It seemed that beating it at its own game impressed it enough to submit, which wasn't feasible for every monster or even every individual Monster Tamer.

CompressedCloud also discovered a method of taming a beast--two, in fact--but it was similarly disadvantageous of a strategy as Kylo's. CompressedCloud happened to save a mother badger and its child from another monster, and tamed the mother… But the mother badger refused to follow her into combat because it needed to raise its child, which began a Quest to assist in the raising of the baby for an entire in-game month. However, CompressedCloud's story wasn't too bad, because so far as anyone had progressed, Monster Tamers were limited to a single monster and by completing the Quest she'd gain a second one. 

Lastly, a rich woman by the username of Pohna used her IRL wealth to obtain many high-quality in-game foods which she used to tame a far stronger horse-type monster… But like with the previous examples, there was an obvious downside. Even after being tamed the horse demanded more expensive treats, unwilling to follow commands unless it was satiated.

'I think this is the place.'

Raidishier paused his thoughts to look over the entrance to the East Training Grounds, which according to the details on the map written by the playerbase allowed entry to players below Base Level 5 for free. The compound was surrounded by a tall stone wall, and the entrance was simply a mostly-undecorated gap in that wall with a wooden board above it displaying the name. He promptly walked through it and passed the toll-booth-looking thing where an NPC sat reading a novel. The attendant merely glanced at him before returning to the book, confirming that the information on the map was correct.

After locating the melee practice field--an area full of indestructible practice dummies and people hitting said dummies--Raidishier retrieved his bullwhip from the inventory pouch at his hip and began making his way to the nearest dummy. Almost immediately, the long, flexible weapon was noticed by other players, some of whom he heard whisper to each other, but he paid them no mind. It was slightly embarrassing, but they'd soon return to their own business.

The straw-filled scarecrow-looking dummies were all separated by about five meters to their neighbors, so Raidishier encountered no trouble when extending his weapon to its fullest length. He'd never held a whip in real life, much less cracked one, so simply began his practice with a wide swing.

When his ineffectual attack pathetically whapped the dummy's side, a notification rang as the teen received a Quest, which he immediately accepted.

When Raidishier first learned of the Training Grounds Quest on the forums, he, like everyone else, was unamused. Twenty hours of mindlessly striking at dummies? Could that be done?

'Not for most people, but only because they don't think it's worth it.'

His opinion on the subject was quickly changed when commenters in the forums reminded everyone that they could use the internet while in-game, meaning the training wouldn't be mindless at all. Sure, it was still twenty hours, but it would be twenty hours of YouTube videos, TV shows, movies, music, and anime. Most importantly, it didn't have to be completed all at once, but could be done for one hour daily across twenty days. Not too bad of a time investment to obtain what amounted to free power.

Unfortunately, the Quest couldn't be cheated by simply striking a dummy once every hour, or something similar. The clock counting down from twenty hours that appeared in the top right of Raidishier's vision while within the Training Grounds stopped ticking a couple seconds after he stopped moving, requiring him to maintain a steady barrage of blows to bring the time down. Interestingly enough, however, once Raidishier grew tired of attacking and began resting, the clock continued ticking until he was fit enough to continue training.

Raidishier didn't really have any plans for spending his time before the meeting with Michael and Angela, so pulled up an anime on his phone and turned on the feature that made a screen appear in only his vision for him to view it on while he learned the ways of the whip.

Raid and his friends finally have the capital to buy full-dive virtual reality capsules and play a VRMMO together. In researching how to play their chosen game--Authority Fought For--Raid discovers that he may have the opportunity to blaze a new trail to power using the least popular Class. Will he succeed?

Anyway, this story is a collaboration project between me and...Raidishier, whom I'm introducing to the world of fantasy fiction writing and named the MC after.
This story, as described by the title, is just something simple he and I cooked up in our free time.

"Come on Yuuta, let's try our luck at gambling I'm sure we're going to get lucky tonight!" cheerfully explained Joji Kazuma, Yuuta's boss.

"Yeah maybe we can get lucky," Yuuta said as he looked at the slot machines. All the machines were so colorful and playful. He honestly wished to try them all.

"Hhmm maybe this one-" before he could slide to the next machine he was accidently bumped into by another fighter.

"Hey sorry about that." "Didn't mean to, I guess we both liked the same machine" replied Steve Johnson. Trailing behind him was his boss. "Steve I really don't want you picking any fights today..." said Steve's boss.

"Wait, is that you Mr. Schluschler?" voiced Kazuma. "Oh good heavens is that you old lad?" replied back Mr. Schluschler.

Steve Johnson and Akayama Yuuta felt as if they were small children and their bosses were like mothers talking and catching up with old times. They talked and talked like they weren't even there. In fact the two felt like background characters of some old anime.

"Mr. Schluschler" Kazuma began. "No dear old boy, we're long passed from calling each other with our last names" Explained the older gentlemen.

"So whatever happened to your old fighter Thomas?" asked Kazuma. He remembered last time his old business friend had a different fighter.

"See this boy Steve right here pulverized that man, I never seen a man get beaten so badly and so quickly" Steve's boss explained as he took another sip of his wine. "The old fighter who previously employed, had about 50 kengan wins. However, Steve right here went through him like a knife through butter!"

"Did I even mention to you how he's part Kure Clan!?" "The man can use 60 percent of this ability before he loses control."

"That's fantastic to hear my old friend" "My fighter Yuuta is without a doubt very talented as well" "His Rikido Style is unmatched heck he even beaten some Kure members" said Mr. Kazuma.

"You just wanna head upstairs and see if we get lucky with any of the ladies?" asked Steve. With a smirk Yuuta replied "Yeah sure why not, better than having to wait on by our mothers.

Upper deck party room

"Ladies ladies I'm telling you, I only got eyes on my boss's sister" said Yaju the assassin. Though he may have said that, his hands were obviously not to themselves.

"Those girls really got a thing for those pretty boys huh Maxy?" Okabe Saburo said to Maxwell Beckett. Maxwell didn't really care either way, he only went along with Okabe because the two were catching up with old times. A while ago they actually trained some wrestling together at the local gym, Max was impressed by the other man's abilities so they formed a bit of acquaintance.

"Well it was nice catching up with you Saburo. I'm going to my room." The party scenery just wasn't for him. Besides he had to keep his mind sharp if he hoped to win this tournament.

"Guess I'm alone now," said the wrestler. Okabe was a famous dirty Pro wrestler known as "The Bloody Pariah". His goal for this Kengan tournament is to show the greatness and effectiveness of his dirty pro wrestling. "Hey mister let's talk for a second"

Upper level bar area

"And then I told her to marry me!" shouted the drunken man. "You know what she told me?" "She told me I was proposing to a lamp! Can you believe that?" continued Qi Ling.

"Yes I can believe that my drinking friend" replied Alexander Flesas. He had a small bottle in his hand. This drunken man just gave it to him. He couldn't really hold down his liquor, but he knew it would be rude if he didn't accept it.

"Listen if I beat this tournament I'm marrying her!" Ling continued with his drunken talk.

"You're still talking about the lamp, right?" seriously asked Alex. Ling with a full bottle in his hand drank the whole bottle under a minute. *hiccup* "I gotta use the bathroom right back" said the drunk man as he staggered to the nearest restroom.

"That man might be a little weird, but at least he can hold his liquor." said Lysander Martinos as he sat beside the younger fighter. "You should learn from example Alex" he smacked the younger fighter in the back with laughter.

Meanwhile Ling managed to get himself lost, he was now in the main deck of a ship. "Shit shit shit" "Bathroom bathroom bathroom!" his eyes opened up hugely with glee. He may have found the bathroom he thought to himself.

He unlocked what appeared to be a shipping container…

Large thuds could be heard. It sounded like a person smashing a sledge hammer over metal plates. Suddenly Ling was pushed out from within the shipping container.

I do not own this fanfiction. And have no intent to make money on this, I'm just sharing it.

"Bruh, you just had to say it, huh?" I asked, trying to keep my calm by dipping my head in the water.
"What? I said IF such a group existed, you'd be on the hit list. I didn't say you're already on one, geez!" Goldy sighed.
"I understand what you're saying. I'm fine if it doesn't exist. However, think about it. Such a big discrepancy. You really think that the Gods will stay silent on that?" I asked.
"Well, no… But, think about it. You started messing up with this timeline ever since you jumped into this world. Don't you think those Gods would have incinerated you by now? That means, they can't attack you yet or can't attack you at all… Or they just don't know who messed up this world because of some unknown reason." Goldy put forth his thoughts.
"Hmm… That makes sense... However, I should probably stay vigilant from now on. There are a lot of things I don't know. The Gods will screw me over if I'm not careful." At this point, I was completely paranoid. Like, think about it. Goldy isn't a God's apostle or something like that. And even then he's eons powerful than myself. This means that the actual God's apostle would probably be far worse of a fatality for me. Save me from this predicament, oh benevolent Go… Crap. There's no use chanting to that existence when the war is waged against now, right?
"This woman! Hey. Nothing's gonna change if you just sulk in the bath thinking about some unknown entity that you're not even sure exists. Powerful than me, you say? Maybe if such people existed, I'd be pleased. You know how hard it is to find a sparring partner for me, right? So, these apostle guys would make stuff fun… That is if they exist. As of right now, they don't exist; at least not in my eyes. So, rather than thinking about people who don't exist, let's just think about the people that exist and the goals before us. Don't think too far. That just might ruin the present for you. We got a bandit eradication event before us. So, let's focus on that, shall we?" He asked. Well, I guess he's right. Too much paranoia isn't that good. I'm gonna focus on the present as he spoke of. So, I nodded my head to his request.

Nighttime had befallen over us once again and we were going out this time as well. However, unlike past excursions where we robbed sects, this journey had a more noble reason. We are gonna get rid of the filth in this world. At least, we're gonna set our sights on that glorious mission. Anyway, this is gonna be the stepping stone of the legacy of the masked woman… Masked woman… It doesn't sound that cool. Well, my naming sense sucks like the devs of the game anyway. So, I'll let the people pick it, just like they did with my cat burglar persona. Ah, cat burglar is a pretty good name.
Anyway, the bandits that we've targeted today are one of the minor bandit groups of the infamous red mountain, which is filled with multiple bandit groups. The name of this bandit group was weasel bandits. An appropriate name, if you ask me. These bandits are cunning and fantastic actors. They blend in with a merchant group going through the red mountain as fellow travelers, who are scared of the predicament they were facing. And since these people provide free work like carrying stuff, some greedy merchants readily agree to their request. And that would mean their doom.
The weasel group then shows them their acting prowess. A few of the strong-looking men of the weasel group will surround these merchants and ask them to leave the valuables there if they want to live. Before the merchant's bodyguards could act on it, the brave people who worked for free throughout the journey will jump up and take the fight against them. The testimonies from the people who got robbed described the fight as extremely real and that normal eyes couldn't discern if the fight they had was real or not. This meant, it is EXACTLY like pro-wrestling! Oh, yeah baby!! How long has it been since I've seen a proper wrestling match…
Anyhow, while this fight ensues, almost everyone would have their eyes stuck on to this fight. That's when the third squad of the bandit group strikes. They could be called the true essence of this group. While the first and second squad were basically actors, the third one were weasels. They rob the merchants right under the eye and then weasel their way out. And once they do so, they inform the other two squads about it and they end up picking the pace of the fight, eventually tiring both sides.
Now, if the merchant asks his bodyguards to kill his comrade on the opponent's side, the weasels from this side stop them knowing that both of their squads were tired at this point. They would plead with the said merchant to let them fight till death to protect his honor and BS like that. Moved by these strangers' "loyalty", these merchants will allow them to do so. Hell, someone would even give them a pouch filled with money as a noble sacrifice. And this would be like a side mission quest completion for those bandits as they end up stripping the merchant of all his money. An overwhelming victory for the bandit side with minimal efforts.
However, there's still a glaring hole in the way they work. What happens when the said merchants become aware of the looting that bandit does? They'll retaliate, right? What then? For sure, they'll attempt for the annihilation of the bandit group who tried taking away what was their possession, right? Wrong.
It would've been so simple for many people if that was the case. But, the glaring hole in their plan was intentional. So, if someone were to exploit this weakness, they would instead face the monster of the weasel group; Guo Ning. Unlike what his first name implies, his nature isn't peaceful at all. He's a man filled with rage.
There's a rumor among merchants that had to pass through the red mountain due to time constraints and stuff. The rumor said that if you ever met up with the Weasel bandits and you're actually able to identify them, merely act accordingly and let them steal your stuff peacefully. Because the moment you bare your fangs against them, Guo Ning would come for your head and it's not something that anyone would appreciate.
Even though that was the case and some people feared that bandit group, there was a reason why they stayed as a minor group amongst all the others. They simply weren't good enough if some influential merchant arrived in the red mountains with a humongous army marching beside them. Guo Ning might be strong. However, in the end, he was just one human. He might win against these elite soldiers if it was a duel. However, it would never end up as a duel but a straight-up mauling. That's what made the Weasel group a weak one. That's why they were stomped by other bandit groups. I heard that Guo Ning tried fighting against big shot bandit groups yet suffered multiple defeats. Hell, I've heard that several of those bandit groups that he faced actually offered him a spot in their groups, however, this guy was adamant about making the weasel group the best bandit group in the entirety of red mountain. I gotta give it up to his tenacity, man… I think he has some sort of a deep connection rooted with the Weasel group. Maybe, he was rescued by them or something, which made him indebted to the group. Anyway, the level of servitude he has for the group is tremendous. I understand why some bandit groups scouted for him. Well, if we are to believe rumors, even some sects scouted him. I mean, the will to serve under one group, a weak one at that, without even thinking about betrayal even once… is a man worthy of respect, no matter what field he's working on. However, I have to keep that emotion aside this time though. Because I'm here to decimate and trample all over him.
Knowing that the weasels won't come out if I'm in a large group, I headed into the mountains alone. It's not like I can afford a large group anyway. Therefore, although I really wanted to say something cool like it was all planned, it's just that I'm piss poor after spending all the money on stuff like the costume I'm currently wearing. However, I did one thing to attract their attention though. I bought a cart and filled it with rubbish to give off a feeling that I'm holding onto something slightly valuable.
Anyway, it didn't take much time for the weasel squad one to come running towards me as expected. The game has begun.

I just got my freedom; moved away from my house and was about to have a new beginning— alas I died before even tasting the freedom, since I got hit by the renowned reincarnation specialist, truck-kun. 

But my luck was tremendous as I reincarnated into a new world—as expected, with my memories fully intact. That’s when I realized that the world around me looked eerily similar to the one in a game called the World of Cultivation and I am the heroine—scratch that; this body is just a random mob of this world. 

My hopes and dreams of living a peaceful life in this world crumbled down right in the beginning, when I learned that I’m bound to die soon from the hands of the main lead. 
Fret not, this world is one with cultivation. Although there’s just a few days before my uneventful death, I can do something with my cultivation and—ah, my body can’t even do cultivation now, can it?

It seems like my luck wasn't that good. Instead, I’ve been riddled with numerous misfortunes. 

However, don’t think that I’ll give up on this precious second chance that fate bestowed upon me. 

My intention is to survive.

And I’m willing to do anything for it!
