I didn't read Dostoevsky, I didn't like him. But Azek Azimov, Ursuda Le Guin, Tolkien, Kipling, Conandoyle, Louis Besenar and others I read with pleasure. Li Bo, the poetry is gorgeous. Novels of feudal and late feudal China, Japan, Korea. Novels and novels by Chinese prose writers of the early 20s and 80-90s of the 20th century.

In general, I read about 10,000 books. Fiction, fantasy, poetry, historical novels, ballads, myths and legends.

After that I became interested in reading historical documentaries - about the history of the Silk Road, Archeology, History, Ethnography, Etymology, the Big Game, the story of the confrontation of imperial intelligence in the vast regions of the Silk Road.

I read about 550 books, from the 16th to the beginning of the 21st century.

I have some kind of base for evaluating short stories and novels.

Sometimes works written flawlessly in terms of grammar, alas ... they are completely devoid of meaning, they are not interesting, they do not have fascinating stories, conclusions, experience, thoughts. But work with poor grammar, on the contrary, have unique information. Of course, not all works, but there are some.

Therefore, when assessing the creativity of another person, the author, being so categorical in evaluations, says only that you have a maximalist who still knows life poorly. This is the right of choice, each person, and to impose a choice on another according to my preferences, I consider this not comme il faut. Well, here everyone has a point of view.

In fact, this is an eternal question - what is more important? Beautiful text form or good content? Bestsellers are those works that combine good text and good content.

I am the author myself. But not a professional writer, but a techie. I don't know much about composition, about the intricacies of writing good text. But I have a very interesting content. Is my story garbage? I do not think so? Do I respect the reader? Sure. But writing is better so far I can't. Nevertheless, I have my own circle - readers who are interested in my work. There are not hundreds or thousands of people, but a couple of dozen will be typed.

I write in the genre - a documentary historical fiction, there are many interesting facts about the Silk Road with which I wanted to share. If I were waiting for the moment when I could write well in terms of English grammar ... I would not be able to share it now ... maybe in a couple of years ... and still I would not be able to write like this they write - people from English-speaking countries. This is a favorite topic of native speakers to reproach those who learn this language in their ignorance of the intricacies of the language they learn, grammar and spelling errors ... As we say, the dog barks, the caravan goes on. That happens.

English is the world language of communication. Moreover, for me it is the third language. I speak English well, but my grammar is lame. I admit it. Yes, I need to teach her, but I don't think I can write in perfect English.

The overall result - write as you can, share your thoughts, in the era of information, the content itself is important and not its form. One way or another, it can help others, they can come to a new thought and write a story about your topic that you would like to read yourself!

Reili: I suppose so since the author being inspired will bring his book along.

VKBoy: If the ones giving review are professional editors, then they don't necessarily have to have read your work with immersion because their suggestions will still likely cover the basic flaws that amateurish writers usually make.

I'm sure you've read this a few times in the previous chapters, but I had been reading MTL chapters for the past few years. I usually read "Completed" stories, and most of them are around 2-4k chapters each. Of course, I read the translated chapters first. After I reach the latest translated chapter, I will immediately jump to *cough* Google Translate.

Yeah~ I know. Reading chapters through Google Translate was the most…epic mistake I did in the past. I've finished World Defying Dan God, Battle Through the Heavens uhh…and a few more novels using Google Translate.

In the later years, I discovered lnmtl.com, which gave me a better translation (at least the names of the characters are not written like Cloud Che instead of Yun Che (Against the Gods). 

To be perfectly honest, If I didn't start writing, I would have continued to read these machine translated chapters even now. Reading MTL works if English is not your first language.

This is something that those with English as their main language will scoff at. However, for those who just want to read. As in reading something without worrying about anything else, then they won't care even if it's a machine translated chapter. As long as they will be able to read the NEXT chapter, then it's all good.

This is also the reason why I admire translators. If not for them, these stories that we are not aware of will not be able to grace us with their presence. Then again, if you find an editor who is a masochist, consider yourself lucky. Let them clean up your mess for you, so you can focus on writing your story, and learn the art of writing while you write.

I'm not all that good at writing a synopsis, so i hope you can still give it a try.

If i had to say what type of story this is, i would say the japanese "Isekai with gamesystem" type, just that i am trying to make it as logical as possible especially in terms of physics and the intelligence of my characters. (You can't imagine how many stories i dropped because of these reasons...) Well, this is just me trying to do a better job. (In this regard i'm always open to criticism.)

I wasn't always an avid reader. My love for books started when I was 13 years old. I was a tomboy sent to a really posh girls-only boarding school. Needless to say, I ended up with a lot of detention, 3 hours of detention, meant 3 hours of twiddling my thumbs, bored out of mind.

Lucky for me, a roommate gave me a book to pass the time, it was one of those old Mills & Boons cheesy romance novels. Reading made my detention pass in a blink of an eye. A year later I was hooked.

I think most avid readers have an idea about writing a novel, especially when you come across a horrible story, you always think to yourself I could have written something better.

Well, I was one of those, but coming up with a plot is a lot easier than actually sitting down to write a novel. For over 20 years I have had this little dream to write a novel, but life got in the way. Working 12 - 16 hours a day 6 - 7 days a week, made that dream fade away.

Every now and then it would rear its head, I would daydream about it sadly sigh, and get back to being a single mom.

Long story short, 2018 was a horrible year for me, a lot of things happened and at the end of 2018, I came to realize that life is too short, we spend so much of our time just trying to survive that we forget that we are actually meant to live our lives, it was with this realization that I decided to follow my dreams and try to make them come true.

We are really lucky to live in a world today, where platforms like Webnovel exists, so aspiring authors can get their creative work published.

I would also like to warn my readers upfront, while English is my home language, it was one of my worst subjects at schools — I was always weak with languages, and to someone who had to take four compulsory languages (English, Afrikaans, Latin & Xhosa) at school — well you can imagine my horror. I was always more inclined to mathematics and the sciences. I think if my English was still alive and he knew that I was trying to write a novel, he most likely would fall over in a dead faint. So please forgive any mistakes you do find.

Well, let's make this quick and short.
As all of you have probably noticed (duh), I have been not updating this fanfic at all anymore.
So from this date onward, I am officially dropping this novel.
The time I spent writing about this had its fun and hard times. Never would I have imagined how much time writing a novel would eat away at your free time while work and doing your daily stuff was grinding away at you.
I have learned a lot from this and now know what it really means to be an author.
Maybe even my English improved a little bit? I can´t really tell because it is not my mother tongue. What I know is that I´m still bad with grammar though.
Now then.
I hope whoever read until this point had a nice time doing so. And I know I am disappointing a lot of people with this, but I accept the fact that I am just doing this out of fun and boredom.
And when I see that I don't want to continue something I let it slip into that dark corner of my mind that I nearly completely forget it.
To be certain, I already was struggling with that decision around Chapter 60 I think. And now I am certain it is enough.
We can also just close this Novel with 1 volume of 120 chapters since the Dragonball Saga is about to end and the Z Saga was about to start anyway.
Hell, at first I even enjoyed every comment I got and those were the fun days. 
But I soon understood that you should never fall into that trap unless you want to lose your motivation completely.
I saw a few great authors start their books and only fall short after releasing about 40 chaps - never returning.
Then there were Authors that just came and blasted off with books as thick as bricks 500+ chaps :)
Well, I am getting distracted.
All I want to say is thank you for reading and wish you all the best for the future :)
