Sorry for taking too long. I was actually working on my own RP Amino after realising that I too want to have franchise like the Nasuverse where I can fanfic all my favourite stories into my own universe!

I'm calling this franchise the Gaiaverse! Although I've yet to conceptualise and bring in conpetent Authors who I can collaborate with to write some awesome stories with, I actually have a lot of passion for making this universe of mine popular!

The main appeal of my universe is similar but different from the Nasuverse. Instead of Heroic Spirits, there are going to be 'Dreamscape Spirits' who are both born through the imagination of humans and 'become real' through those thoughts.

What I mean by 'become real' is basically making it so even a certain evil tentacle god in tales by HP.Lovecraft becomes something that has history in real life after becoming a Dreamscape Spirit.

This essentially lets me take off any limiters in my fanfic-y universe and allows me write plot that normally wouldn't be possible. There are three short works I'm going to be working on that will bring out the appeal of this universe to the fullest!

The first is a story where Dreamscape Spirits from the Tales of King Arthur and Journey To The West duke it out in a story where these two 'factions' are opposed to each other for one way or another.

However, this won't be just bringing them out in the modern day as 'spirit contractors' will exist on this story to spice up the story. Imagine being a normal high school student or average salaryman when out of nowhere, you suddenly meet the Dreamscape Spirit of Sun Wukong who wants your help in defeating his long-term rival, King Arthur.

Although there won't be any genderbends in this story like in the Nasuverse where nearly 90 percent of Heroic Spirits are girls or a Saber rip-off, there will be more 'fictional' characters added in the mix.

For example: The second story I'm going to add into the Gaiaverse will be a story of Alice In Wonderland where even the rabbit hole she fell into itself is turned into something real. This story will be reminiscent of Pandora Hearts but set in modern times rather than a medieval fantasy.

The third but not in any way last entry to this franchise will be a story where more human Dreamscape Spirits like Sherlock Holmes and Jack The Ripper will exist, albeit not in the same forms as usual due to Spirit Contractors. The Jack the Ripper Dreamscape Spirit will have 'different interpretations' running around that a detective team will have to go around trying discover.

This third entry will be more of a mystery thriller where it's either piece things together or die horribly. I'm planning of turning this story into that since I just want to create stories that can add to the lore of this Gaiaverse. Of course, there is also a Power System separate from Dreamscape Spirits like Internal Martial Art Lineages and secret science fiction-esque organisations but those will be stuff in the background to improve the stories.

The story is the third entry in the trilogy of Battlefield Restart but is being written as the direct sequel instead. The events of Battlefield Restart 2- An Adventure Beyond Greatness, are contained so there isn’t much to be missed by skipping it.

This novel is about an Author being sent into the nightmarish world he writes due to his destiny. The main character of BR 2 appears but isn’t focused on much, as this is about the Omniscient Writer’s story.

Vol. 0 is skippable and isn’t essential to the story as a whole. Only something there for extra info.

After Alex cut off the call Eon ponder for a while whether he should obey the order or not.

It was like hanging on a cliff if he obeys the order he will be certainly ambushed by Silicon Cult but if he does not obey the order Alex will surely make him do an impossible task again which will have high fatality rates for sure.

Lin and Angelica who were sitting at the side did not distract him from his deep thoughts. 

Seeing that it is getting nowhere Lin spoke to end the silence and focus back to the topic.

"Eon your thoughts are getting you nowhere so it's best to share what you are thinking"

Eon looked at Lin for a while before speaking "Well the thing is that if I obey the order I have to cancel all the dates plan I had with Sage which is really annoying and I feared that I will truly kill that bastard because of the annoyance he caused, which will result in a penalty from 'Order of the Guardians' for sure, not even my father could protect me this time" 

"If I disobey direct order I will be sent to some forsaken planet with high fatality rates mission which I will love for sure, but then again I will not able to see Sage for while which will result in the destruction of that godforsaken planet". 

Lin and Angelica were looking speechlessly at Eon who went again into deep thoughts.

Lin who couldn't take it anymore said with a slight irritation in her voice. 

"If you are unable to choose between such thing then why the hell are you even thinking, just obeyed the order after your first date is it too hard to think of this matter!".

"Well let's do what you say .…and yeah did you bring S-10 with you today?".

This time Lin looked seriously at Eon without any look of her casual self who took everything for granted.

"Are you sure about that… it's the same Armor as you use currently which can block anything below Colossal level.
 In fact, these monster are only circulating among the faction who had diehard loyalty to Alex and your diehard faction

"In case you give her access this technology, then make sure she understands the weight she has to carry if she accepts this and what would her political standing will be, are we clear?". 
(Power level- level 1 to 9, Immortal, Experimental, Hazard, Berserk, Colossal.   Levels are arranged in increasing order).

"Yes, well colossal level can only kill by plasma weapons and basically this armour can only withstand half a dozen of their strike so that ought to be enough to protect her impending doom when I unable to protect her".

 *Sigh*

 Eon let out a sigh of disappointment at the end of the sentence like be regretted something very much.

"If you want to protect her so much why don't you just stay by her side 24*7 she will surely cuddle you like a teddy bear all time". 

"It sounds nice but I am not sure if I can stay by her side even I would not, she will be uncomfortable... And uncomfortable Sage is pretty much a heart breaker..... well whatever brings me S-10 I have a date plan with her at 10". 

Lin looked at Eon for a while before getting up and walks towards the wardrobe and picked to pick up a briefcase of about  25L capacity. She bought it out and place it on teapoy in front of Eon. 

"I will say this once so listen carefully if you give this to her then make sure she remains loyal to you no matter what". 

"I know that I will test her first before giving this to her"

Eon said with a serious expression on his face, unlike his uncaring attitude.

"Well, here I go…. Bye". 

As soon as Eon said this he picks up the briefcase and disappears from the place.

Seeing this Lin was stunned and asked Angelica

"What's the time?"

"9:58"

Hearing Angelica reply Lin sigh and a slight worry crept on her face.

Outside Sage's room, Eon was standing and looking at the clock in his Skylink in his wrist. As soon as the digital meter hit 10 Eon knocked on the door twice.

After some time the door opens itself as Sage was standing at the entrance of her room.

Eon looked at Sage carefully she had done her crimson hair in curls which were little more than shoulder length. She had worn a grey and black stripe sleeveless blouse coupled with black mini jeans and snow-white knee-length shrugs.

Eon looked at her hourglass shape body and then his eyes where landed on her breasts 'hmm..what size'. 

"It's 34D do you like it?". 

This abrupt question from Sage startled him for a bit before answering.

"Well, it sure pumped me u…."

Eon bit his tongue without finishing the sentence which comes out because of his regular relax attitude. 

"Heh… you are as flirtatious as rumours suggest you to be Eon". 

Sage grin at him as she took a step back and close the door on his face without any hesitation.

Eon who saw this quickly reached out his hand when the door was almost close and slightly pushed door so as to let his face pass through. 

"Hey, come on is door slamming your hobby or what, let's first have a long conversation in your room to calm you down what do you think ". 

"Mr Turf, I have to say this, after reading your superficial information I really wanted to shut that door on your face. It was really hard to resist that urge". 

Sage replied with a monotone while Beth who was watching this was laughing inwardly with a gleeful expression on her face.  

"Well, that's my speciality to get on everyone nerves don't take it to your heart, you will get used to it, Sage". 

"I have certainly got used to it"

Sage let out a chuckle opened the door letting him in the room.

Beth quickly adjusts her expression as she quickly recovers her casual attitude on the sofa ignoring Eon's gaze.

"I assume you have retrieved my information from the Roswell corp. right?". 

Eon ignored Beth whose shoulder was shuddering from intense laughter on the sofa. 

"I would prefer to say it as a filter data, considering that half of it was incomplete". 

Sage sat on the sofa which was right next to Beth she crossed her legs and leaned while crossing her hand.

"Come on that's more than enough, after reading this you will be able to differentiate between rumours and real tales about me". 

"Oh don't get me going. What really pissed me off is that you have more than hundreds of rumours surrounding you, of those what concerns me, was your relationship with Rebecca ". 

"Oh, that will take a whole lot of explanation on her part so when we will have a get together let's discuss it then". 

"I am not in the mood to make my kid sister hate me so you better clear things with her first". 

"Hey we are just partner in crime and I am not her type"

After replying to Sage, he looked at Beth as he continues with a sly grin on his face.

"Hey, Serah can be considered your nanny right?".

 "Yes, she is almost like a mother figure since my mother passed away during my early ages, but why do you ask?".

"Well after your father provocation she was very tasty….sorry I mean feisty, so I tamed her a bit you should go check on her"

As soon as she heard this Beth become uneased as she remembered that Serah was captured by Eon last night which she totally forgets as she enters Sage's room and considering the rumours as well as Serah beauty she comes to a conclusion she tried to avoid till the end 'Here it comes'. 

Saying no more Beth gets up and excused herself before exiting the room hurriedly. 

"You are worst than a beast….."

Sage who understand the underlying meaning said with a disgusted look on her face.

"That was not my fault she used her charm magic on me and tried to make me her familiar, though the role had been reversed and as for the latter part I had practically been restraining myself from being charmed.

" Any men even he is a colossal level or has a will power as strong a monk except those who swing that way will find it hard to suppress themselves under being charmed for more than 30 mins and she could consider her self lucky… "

Sage heard his explanation and did not respond to it, while Eon who was caught up in the act sigh while answer in casual attitude. 

"Well don't look at me like this it's all fair when you are alone" 

Sage looked at Eon for a few minutes and said with rather a casual tone which was unexpected for him.

"I already have someone that I liked so you don't have to waste your precious time". 

"I don't know". 

"I liked him for a while now". 

"I don't care". 

"Hs had already kissed me". 

"He has a death wish?".

Sage stared at Eon's eyes who replied with an unexpected answer which made her speechless for a bit.

"You should then honour the bet, cancel the marriage and join my organization". 

"That I cannot do our marriage had been announced the bet was only applied when it was a secret". 

"You never change…. Well if you are worried about Aslan, then don't worry cause they will prevail for while". 

"Well, I am not worried as they are under surveillance all the time, what we are worried about is enemy....". 

"Who lies beyond the 'Nova Border' ".

Sage interrupted Eon as she completed the sentence which alarmed Eon. 

"Who?"

"Non-carbon life forms or you can call them Lithic". 

"When?". 

"It's 9999 this year it will be 10,000 or 1 AU year, hmm Galactic government formed by several Empires will surely start a new era which will be called  'Age of Unification'

"So the attack should be around 96AU, there are is several decades left". 

At this point, Eon looked dead serious as he stared Sage who was having a nonchalant expression on her face. 

"From where…did.. you….heard this Sage?"

Eon looked at Sage who was and asked in a shaky voice which stunned Sage for a few second and unable to react before Eon stands and flared UP!!!

"WHERE DID YOU HERE THIS!!!"

An oppressing aura quickly surrounded Eon which made Sage drown in his aura unable to speak but through her newly achieved will power from her future self she was able to withstand it and call out for Eon 

"E..on...". 

Responding to her words Eon snap back to his sense as he asked Sage in a shaky voice with anger and fear written all over his face. 

"Come on Sage…..this is not the time for a joke you are just saying things, someone had told you about right. There is no way in hell you are one of them.

" Tell me….tell me the name of the bastard who said this to you, name that BASTARD!!!" 

*BHAM*

At the end of his sentence, Eon slammed his hands on both the side of the armrest on which Sage was sitting while restricting his madness with great efforts.

Sage quickly come back to her senses and looked at Eon who had unwillingness and twisted thoughts written all over his face for few second.

She placed both her hand on Eons face and said with a little unsettled tone but caring tone.

"You are as twisted as you can get both in present and future you need to let it all go sometime Eon".

As she said these Eon eyes constrict indicating the shock he had received. 

In his entire time in Earth Eon not for a single second showed bis twisted personality in front of anyone, in fact, he was living a peaceful life that he yearns for many years but his truth has been exposed in a sentence from the person with least anticipated manner.

Eon quickly snapped out of his shock and shove aside Sage hand as he walked out of the room.

 Before leaving the room Eon halts for a second and then said.

"A package will be delivered by Edgar receive it if you want to obtain what inside you have to clear a test set by the item itself".

After saying this Eon exit the room before closing the door Eon produce a ball of energy and send her to Sage before heading strat to his room. 

'Package? What package?…wait…argggghhh… '. 

Sage s screamed as a strong headache washed over her as the memory of her future self started to recover bit by bit, the pain in her head becomes unbearable at a point she was almost at the verge of death.

Suddenly a ball of energy enter her body and start circulating in her body enhancing her physical and mental fortitude thereby lessen the pain in her head.

A few minutes later she gradually started to recover when there was a knock on her door which jolted her awake from her trance, she walked toward the door and open

Outside the door a young man was standing with a briefcase, he had blond hair and burly build with blue eyes, it was none other than Edgar.

Edgar was slightly startled as he sees Sage in a dishevelled state, with a concern he asked her.

"What happened you are completely dishevelled did you just woke up?", after waiting for a while with no answer so he continued "Well if you do not want to answer then so be it, here take this briefcase this is addressed to you". 

Sage grabbed the briefcase thanked Edgar and closed the door and made her way to her bed.

She placed the briefcase on the bed and open it with shaky hands.

As she opened the briefcase tears started to fell from her eyes as she cried out loudly.

Eon who dashed from Sage room arrived inside his room within seconds where he saw Lin and Angelica were looking at him rather strangely. 

Without wasting time he said in a slow but audible voice which content he suppresses anger. 

"Sage… she is one of the Chosen". 

"WHAT!!!" X2

As Eon said this both Lin and Angelica are both shocks as this was very abrupt, not even one hour has passed but Sage become a Chosen in that time 

"I need to quickly leave this ship fast prepare a ship to Rois a fast one". 

"Wait why are you in such a hurry it's an optimistic situation we are getting a new chosen one what's her type". 

"Traveller she has course back in time approximately 97 years, she knows about Lithic war". 

This time Lin who was surprised at first turn solemn replied with a little sympathy in her voice. 

In truth, Eon wanted to quickly finish the related to Itto Shura so that he can sort out the matter related to Sage without any concern and as for explanation why the hell did he ever explain anything to anyone he has the authority to do so why does he have to lower his status quo.

"Okay, I will prepare a ship anything else". 

"Find that Joker we met on our way to Earth and give her his location". 

"Are you sure?".  

"Just follow the Fucking order!!!". 

As he said this Eon walked out of the room towards the hanger bay. 

Angelica looked at Lin who was the first time was refuted by Eon in front of her in with such high tone, with curiosity she inquired Lin with an uneasy tone.

"What happens? Why he is so furious". 

"Because he hates travellers the most".

A boy who has no ambition anymore in his life but a born of Immortals, gained immortality without any struggle and wants a peaceful ☮️ life, but can he attain this peace full life he dreamed of or he will choose the path which will lead to his own demise.

"This story..." Shin raised his head up after reading the book from cover to cover. The story that was told was quite the fantastical one. Four animals that lived in a secluded area untouched by civilisation itself? It was quite the tall tale to believe. However, it was just a fictional story, so there wasn't any need to take heed to its contents… Right?

"What's the matter?" Raphael came over and peeked into the book as well. Like Shin, the Alliance Head scrutinised the story with a solid eye but didn't really feel anything of the tale. "Hmmm, an interesting story. I wonder who wrote this book?"

"Senior Raphael… Don't you find it a little odd?" Shin raised his brow as he questioned the man. "The Rabbit in the Moon… Why would such a book be stored here?"

"Why would that be odd? There are literally millions of stories created all over the globe. Spirit Beasts that gained human intelligence are also no strangers to reading up on our literature." The Alliance Head didn't think that it was strange for the twin Spirit Beasts to possess a few literary items. However, the Light-Elemental Spirit Venerate didn't have the spiritual sense to pick up on the immense Mind-Elements that were congregating on the simple book.

"No that's not what I meant..." Shin shook his head as he raised the book slightly higher. A refreshing aura burst forth from his soul and enveloped the object in his hands. 

"The owner of this book… Or the one that held this book last… They had so many emotions for the story. I can feel the happiness in the first chapter, and the anguish in the last… It's as if, this story isn't fictional… But an account of the owner's life story..."

"You can tell that much just by picking it up?" Raphael scoffed, wholly unconvinced that Shin's ability could pick up something so specific. 

"Unsure…" The Prince frowned before falling deep into contemplation. There had to be a missing clue somewhere… 

"Wait a minute… Senior Raphael, didn't you say that Kin and Gin loved to take the forms of humans, just like the other Nine Coloured Noble Beasts." Thinking of something, Shin's mind burst into life. 

"Yes, that's what our intelligence concludes," Raphael scratched his chin while recalling the numerous reports that were placed on his table. "The Nine Coloured Noble Beasts would normally take human form, and their hair colours would manifest according to their attribute. Kuro would take the shape of a thirty-year-old black-haired man. Ao, a blue-haired intellectual. Akai, a hot-headed, red-haired man. So on and so forth..."

"What about Kin and Gin?" Shin asked.

"Hmmm, if I'm not mistaken… Kin takes the form of a golden-haired woman in her mid-twenties, while Gin takes the shape of a silver-haired man with equal beauty."

"Gold and silver… Ain't that the colours of the Golden Fox and Silver Monkey in the tale?" The Prince flipped the pages and landed on the first chapter. "Also… Wasn't there a pink-haired young girl among the Nine Coloured Noble Beasts?"

"Yes, but we'd never found out her true identity… Wait, are you suggesting that..." 

"..." Shin remained silent, but that's all the Alliance Head needed to hear his thoughts. Throwing his eyes down at the book once more, Raphael started to read the first few paragraphs out loud. 

"Once upon a time, in a lush garden untouched by civilisation itself… Four animals lived in complete harmony. The Grey Otter… The Golden Fox… The Silver Monkey, and… The Pink Rabbit. And if the man who had entered the garden during the later chapters was the Allfather, that means!!!"

"Yes…" A sinister smile crept up the sides of Shin's lips. All this while, there had been this patch of blank information when it pertained to some members of the Noble Beasts. However, if this book wasn't just fiction… Shin may have stumbled upon the last piece of the puzzle. "Kin is the Golden Fox, Gin is the Silver Monkey and Momo… The third strongest Spirit Beast under the Allfather's command… Is the legendary Moon Rabbit..."

The Moon Rabbit. 

It was a Spirit Beast that everyone, no matter how young or old, would know about. A mythical creature said to be the companion of the Moon Goddess herself, the Moon Rabbit was a staple in humanity's culture. It had appeared in numerous folklores throughout the years. Some say that the Moon Rabbit was the companion of the Moon Goddess and was the one responsible for pounding the medicine that the Immortal uses. Others say that the Moon Rabbit was an animal that created elixirs that could grant eternal life, the one thing that every living mortal chased after. 

No matter what the myth, there was one constant… The Moon Rabbit was said to be the bearer of the Key of Immortality, the being responsible for opening the gate to the Immortal Realm. Naturally, most people in the modern age denied those claims as fiction, much as they did the Eternal Burning Tree, Yggdrasil. Nevertheless, it hadn't curbed most people from seeking and worshipping the enigmatic creature.

"So it really is the Moon Rabbit..." Raphael bit his lower lip. "The number of times humanity had seen the Moon Rabbit could be counted with the fingers of one hand… Why would such a legendary and elusive Spirit Beast join forces with the Allfather?"

"If the story is to be believed… The Moon Rabbit wants to gain the Key to Immortality as well, which just so happens to coincide with the Allfather's ultimate plan." Shin explained. 

"So the legends aren't true, huh… The Moon Rabbit isn't the Moon Goddess' pet or the Key to the Immortal Realm."

"Well, since when fairy tales are considered to be facts?" The Prince chuckled; however, his face quickly scrunched up. Wasn't he chasing a fairy tale as well?

'No, let's not think about that for now...' 

The man shook his head and flipped through the pages once more. Reaching the page he sought, Shin asked Raphael the crucial question. "Now that we know what Kin, Gin and Momo's real identities are, we can configure new methods to deal with them! So, Senior Raphael… Do you know anything about the Golden Fox, Silver Monkey and the Moon Rabbit's abilities?"

"Not per se..." The Alliance Head replied with a negative. "I'd never even heard of the Golden Fox or the Silver Monkey! The Moon Rabbit, on the other hand, is so elusive that I doubt any library in the world would have a record of its abilities."

"Now that's a problem..." Shin frowned. They had just found a significant breakthrough in the case, and yet they had nothing to show for it. If they could at least figure out the abilities of the Golden Fox and the Silver Monkey, they could understand how the sentries from the outposts were disappearing and plant traps to ensnare the twin Spirit Beasts. However, if Shin and the Alliance knew nothing, they could do nothing.

Fortunately...

"Mmmm… The Golden Fox and Silver Monkey..." Zishen's aged voice echoed from the side, bringing a flash of radiance back to Shin's pale complexion.

"Senior Zishen! Do you know anything?"

"Mmmm… My ancestors had recorded a thing or two..." The Azure Dragon Lord tilted his head as he started to recall what little knowledge he had. "Mmmm… The Golden Fox and Silver Monkey are auxiliary-types from what I can tell. The Golden Fox has control over the Space-Elements while the Silver-Monkey is proficient in Time-Elements."

"Space and time?!" Raphael exclaimed. Among all of the elements of the known world, the Space-Time elements were always the rarest. Even though those were the most omnipresent elements, they were always the hardest to sense and therefore, the most difficult ones to control. 

"Mmmm… That's from what I've heard. As for their abilities, I think the Golden Fox is able to morph into whichever form that she chooses and is capable of teleporting between her marked items. Mmmm… As of the Silver Monkey… It's more secretive of the two, so I don't really know what it can do."

"No, your words are more than enough..." Shin gratefully bowed down. "Then, do you know anything about the Moon Rabbit?"

"The Moon Rabbit..." At that moment, Zishen's brows were knitted into a singular line. His mind was trembling just at the memory of his ancestor's words and even feared to word out his next statement. 

"The Moon Rabbit… She… Controls the power of death."

Over a million years ago, the first human contracted with the first Spirit. Ever since then, Spirit use has become commonplace. Humans used Spirits to carry items and start fires. Eventually, even start wars. Thousands upon thousands of years past and one day, one human did the impossible. He transcended his mortality and ascended to the realm above.  

In the present day, the Frie Clan was once a great clan of the Himmel empire. However, a devastating battle ten years ago crippled the clan and their numbers dwindled. To make up for their loss, the upper echelons decided to adopt young orphans and nurture them to become a future pillar of the weakened clan. Shin was one of those orphans. 

Although picked up by the Frie Clan, not all is smooth sailing for Shin and the other orphans...

This story is meant to be enjoyed as a story of its own, there is very little collation to the Poetic Edda.
My style of writing you will see is to write a vague description of what is happening and then I reread the story adding in more detail and actions as they take place. "What did you say?" Anton asked with a frown.
Byung-ho, the investigator said, "My senior partner, the one who was originally assigned to the case, told me once that So Eun Jung was very obsessed about keeping track of the Friday Midnight's kidnapping and killings that he often came to the station to get an update... sometimes even, investigated on his own."
"He even created a social media account detailing kidnapping and pieces of evidence. He - became so famous for his documentary that not only did he become the most in-demand reporter at that time, but his videos earned him… a lot of money."
Byung-ho realized Jang-mi, Anton, and even Yanmei all had a grimace on their faces. 
"What?" The detective looked into their eyes, puzzled. "No. It couldn't be. Remember how he was recently injured? He was attacked as well."
Han-joon had earlier come with the detectives. He then reported to Anton, "Sorry, Boss. We did check on the police report pertaining to So Eun Jung's attack, but all he said was that someone beat him up while at the grocery parking lot near his home."
"There... were strangely no other witnesses. According to him, he was still conscious and capable. He brought himself to the private clinic... Admittedly, we had put more focus on Farhad Salib,Yeong."
Both the detectives thought the name was familiar, but it was Jiang-mi who said, "Isn't that the infamous drug lord in Taliban?"
"Yes, he has been trying to buy arms from me for years, but I've always refused him," Anton revealed while crossing his legs.
"Mr. Yeong. Such information is very vital. Such a powerful man like Farhad could be after you!" added Jang-mi.
"Trust me when I say, I am more powerful than Farhad Salib. I have the greatest weapon on earth!" Anton proudly announced. Of course, what they do not know was, he was referring to his sister, Li Wen. 
Han-joon turned to the police and said, "We can assure you though, that base on Farhad Salib's movements, he is not behind this scheme. If anything, this would be… below such a man like him."
The detectives were relieved to hear the news. They certainly would not want to be infiltrated by the said drug king. 
"He does, however, plan to attack our factories should Yeong continue to deny him of the purchase," Han-joon revealed casually, like getting struck was normal to them. 
Yanmei, who had been listening the entire time, finally found the courage to ask, "Yeong? You did not tell me about this?" 
Anton shrugged it off. He lightly squeezed her hand and said, "Don't worry. They can't bring tanks in this country like they do in Afghanistan. Moreover, should they push through with their plans, we are preparing for it. For now, I think we should look into this reporter."
"I don't know about that," said Byung-ho. "The reporter is just a simple journalist - "
"Trust me, Mr. Byun-ho. I have seen many people turn psychotic following an obsession. While I give this guy a benefit of a doubt, every possibility should be looked into," added Anton. 
Following their exchange, they were back to solving the mystery.
Anton, Yanmei, and Junsu remained in the mansion to work from Jae-won's study. Han-joon and came with Byung-ho to speak with the reporter, driving in two cars. Jang-mi went to speak with Haneul. 
On that very same day, Anton sent additional men for the protection of the Suns. This is separate from the police officers who were sent to guard the hospital and Mrs. Sun. 
While Han-joon and Byung-ho went to visit So Eon Jung, Iseul and one other police officer drove to the private clinic where the reporter was admitted and treated. 
Upon arriving at the said clinic, however, they were told that a warrant has to be served in order for them to give any information about their client. The Clinic doctor and staff were all uncooperative. 
Iseul had no choice but to hack into their network. While the facility administrators were firm with providing no help, the private clinic's security system was simple to crack, at least for the likes of Iseul.
Eventually, Isuel found out that… there were no records of So Eon Jung's treatment. It was as though... it never happened. Iseul thought it was best to return at night. He could just sneak inside the clinic and dig for more information, one that was probably in paper or in one of their files. 
Meanwhile, at the reporter's home. Byung-ho and Han-joon had just arrived at So Eon Jung's home. 
The house was a two-story modern concrete home, found further out from the city, just a mile away from the woods. Its entire floor area was estimated to four hundred square meters, while the entire property was about a thousand. 
Han-joon slightly threw his head back, seeing such a huge home for a simpleton reporter. "Don't you think… this home is just a little too over the top for a… simple journalist?"
Byung-ho nodded and said, "This is my first time to be here." He looked at the address to be sure. "This seems to be the right one."
They rang the doorbell a few times before someone finally opened. It was a housekeeper who answered the door. 
'A journalist with a housekeeper… not just a reporter but a terminated one too,' Han-joon thought to himself. 
"Mam, I am detective Byung-ho, we wanted to talk to So Eon Jung," said the investigator as he showed off his badge. 
The housekeeper said, "Please wait here. Let me tell him."
After ten minutes, the door opened again, and the housekeeper invited them inside. In the living room, they found the reporter in his wheelchair. He still had his neck brace on, but the bruises on his face were nearly gone.
"Mr. So - "
"What is that person doing here? Don't you think I would not recognize any of Anton Yeong's men!" Yelled the reporter. He had piercing eyes against Han-joon. 
Han-joon took a step back and said, "I am just here to help. If my presence threatens you, I can wait out - "
"Please... Please do… wait outside!" Demanded the reporter. 
Only after Han-joon disappeared did the So Eon Jung relaxed and directed his gaze to the detective. "Please… take a seat."
"Nice home you have here," said the detective. 
"It was… my parents, but they are… already dead," said the reporter.
"I'm sorry to hear that," said the Byung-ho. He then proceeded to ask first his opinion about the killer, if he felt he was the same one that caused terror in the city four years back. 
"Show me the evidence you have?" Requested the reporter. 
The detective only had pictures of the pieces of evidence that he took out from his vest and let the reporter review. 
The reporter nodded approvingly and said, "this is definitely the work of the same serial killer." He looked up and smiled. "Friday Midnight is back."
"But why do you think he is addressing his messages to Anton Yeong?" The detective asked while his eyes remained glued to So Eon Jung's face. He wanted to see his reaction. 
He then saw anger in the reporter's eyes. His mouth nearly twitched before he finally answered, "Because… Anton Yeong is like him! Playing god!" 
He then looked away and closed his eyes, seemingly trying to control his emotions before he added, "He probably thinks only Anton Yeong can solve the mystery to his identity. Maybe the killer likes the thrill of being pursued by a worthy man such as Anton Yeong... I could still remember how he challenged the previous authorities."
Byung-ho did not waste any more time. He left as soon as he had a hint of the reporter's disdain towards Anton. 
Returning to the vehicle, the detective said to Han-joon," He does seem to have something against Mr. Yeong... But still, he is in a wheelchair!"
"He could have men under his payroll," suggested Han-joon. "I'll have my team observe this place and see if there are any other activities."
The two lingered at the driveway for half an hour with Han-joon trying to get into the reporter's home network. It took him a while, but he pulled through. They could now monitor any of his computer and network activity. 
In cases where investigations were necessary, Han-joon, Isuel, and Chun-Ho always had a laptop with them inside their car. While Li Wen made hacking possible through an app that she developed, they found it more convenient and faster to use both their fingers against the keyboard. 
After returning to the Yeongs' mansion, the first thing Han-joon noticed was the reporter bringing back to life his social media page, saying, "Citizens be aware! Friday Midnight is Back. Why was he in hiding for so long? What happened to him?"
So Eon Jung then re-posted many of his documentary about Friday Midnight, boosting it relentlessly, and overnight, his social media pages became the talk of the city. 
The reporter's last post, however, irked Anton the most. It said, "The great and powerful Anton Yeong failed to solve the mystery of Friday Midnight, killing a young and innocent woman… or did Anton Yeong purposely ignore the killer's request? What is his relationship with the merciless serial killer?"
Yet again, Anton was put into the spotlight. It was the very first news he received from Junsu the next day, but while he was faced with more criticism, Iseul arrived to report to his boss. 
The Yeongs were having breakfast when Iseul barged in. He said, "Mr. Yeong… So Eon Jung's injuries are fake… In fact, the entire clinic where he was admitted is a fake! The clinic had long been in the business of insurance scams. The clinic fakes accidents… even deaths and splits with the patient the insurance premium."
"Sir... the clinic belongs to the report's family."


“I don’t like women directly reporting to me!” He yelled at her after learning he would be working with a mere woman. 

Xia Yanmei replied, “I understand how you don’t like women and I support you wholeheartedly.” 

“Are you a lunatic? I just said I detest women!” Anton Yeong repeated himself, already agitated. His brows were drawn together while his eyes were like a laser, ready to pierce a hole through her body. 

“Oh, you were referring to me? I’m sorry. Sometimes, I forget. I am actually a woman… The truth is, I am a man trapped in a woman’s body!” 

That was all she could think of to secure his trust. In order to keep her job and remain away from her father’s pestering, she tricked the cold and powerful Aton Yeong.

It was from that moment that he was willing to give her a chance, and it was because she turned herself into gay that she kept living a lie... only to regret it after falling for his unorthodox approach.

The author had an idea when he ate delicious Italian pasta. But the pasta came from Arabistan? Although others say that the Arabs borrowed the idea from China along the Silk Road. One way or another, it would be great if Dara could use pasta as a subject for trade! But in the modern world, hundreds of pasta variants of different shapes, contents, taste and color have already been created and are known. Few can surprise them ?!

The language is more or less like Farsi ?! And it looks like the language of Small-An, Esperanto of the Silk Road, a mixture of Arabic, Monogol, Persian, Chinese, Turkic ...

For example, in the 6-7th century? Or immediately during the battle of the Arabs and the Chinese, who had the main Korean commander? The famous Talas battle ?!

It seems best to send Dara, in the era of antiquity, the first settlement of a modern, straight-walking person, that is, the time began to develop mountain valleys, floodplains, terraces, and foothill valleys. Sowing them with walnut trees and bushes. The beginning of a grandiose project on irrigation of the steppe ... the creation of irrigation canals. Visit of the Chinese monks ... the first century AD and as 5 centuries of the functioning of the Silk Road ...

But here I, as an author, already understand that there are so many different versions of such events - rebirth, getting into another world, a parallel world, into the past or the future ... that is, it turns out, again the plot can become a cliché or cliché. That is not original. On the other hand, in the 21st century it is naive to think that after the masters of the genre of writing short stories, geniuses and just masters who have gotten their hands on the writing of works of art, a new genre can be created.

One way or another, I will not endow the main character with super powers, only those that were in the novel "Magic Coin Jiang." It can be with a part of truncated functions.

Or maybe he'll send Dar to the 7th century ... a couple of years before Li-Ban's trip or while sending Li-Ban to the desert ... but then, it will be difficult for the Chinese, who know a lot about cooking noodles, to surprise them and make your business successful.

Therefore, it may be worth sending Dar nevertheless to the "Light" mountains. To not be too fantastic, his knowledge of a foreign language for him. And where will Dara find the money for her business? In those places that the Historian told him about? Will he be able to make a metal detector himself? So finally volume two is finished and now it is time for a new theme and new characters to come. I wanted to do this idea for quite some time now. What I am talking about is the theme of Modern Horror. 
This volume is going to concentrate on the fears and anxieties that come with living in this fast and technological advanced era. This era that is characterized by a urban lifestyle. 
The place, where the stories of this volume will be located, is Leipzig. This is another aspect of this volume that I am personally hyped for. Leipzig is a city I have personally been to and I can say I love it. I figured the best place for me to describe realistic Horror experiences is a City I myself experienced. To introduce you to the city, Leipzig is located in East Germany with a population of around 600.000 people. It has evolved from a small trade city in the medieval times to one of the fastest growing cities of Germany (10th biggest at the moment). It has many cultural highlights and a wide variety of different districts that are unique in their own way and give a fantastic stage for some good stories. 
What fears or topics are going to be the centre of this Volume? The topics are going to be the unique experiences only the modern days make possible. Following that, there are not going to be any general fears that are independent from time and age. Every Story is going to focus especially on the characteristic that differentiates today from the past or future. No Science-fiction and no history.  Realism is what I am trying to strive for in this volume. A task that is not easy accomplished, especially within the horror genre. Humans tend to reject any ideas that would induce fear and label them as fictional, not because they are, but because this is a natural defends mechanism of human nature. I am going to try breaking that border between reality and fiction. I want my readers to look over their shoulder while reading this, because they heard something. I want to stimulate the corner of one's mind with this chapter. Of course this is not going to be easy and I am not going to say that I will definitely accomplish it, but I have to try at least.

Each chapter is independent, but each Volume has its own tale. The first Tale is about a Daemon, hungry for souls and a soul that struggles against him.

When I began writing the biography of Death, I was not sure where it would lead me. Real life inspiration and the darkest recesses of my mind competed to see which could be the more sinister. To a large extent I blindly followed them, and merely wrote down whatever sweet songs of madness they crooned to me along the trail. 

Like most writers I wrangled friends and relatives into giving me feedback. One, a millennial snowflake, was invaluable. They seemed to consider this fantasy nightmare I had created, to be some sort of manifesto. For the record this book is pure fiction. Fiction inspired by real world events in a few cases, but fiction nonetheless. Like all works of supernatural horror, this book is meant to be entertainment. It is perhaps a meditation on the zeitgeist of the modern west, but it is still as fictional as 1984 or A Christmas Carol. 

Another person seemed bothered by the apparent moral contradictions in my lead character. To this I can only say that a man is the sum of his contradictions. People love to apply the rules to others, but find reasons to grant themselves exceptions to their own rules. I did not want an incorruptible white knight monster. I wanted a complex and thinking human monster. To my way of thinking his inconsistency was his most human feature, even after he leaves his humanity behind. 

Should anyone find a mirror image to themselves in these pages, then it is only their own ego. The sum of this work has been so thoroughly washed in the waters of horror and fantasy that no living or deceased human could ever be reasonably compared to its contents. 

No rational person could ever compare the buffoons portrayed in these pages to a real life counterparts. Any person contending to the contrary is either a snowflake melting in the flames of my mad vision, or a lunatic in desperate need of having their mental faculties examined by a competent professional, I have time for neither. The fact that this book is fiction cannot be over emphasized.

Death, a Biography, is a fictional horror novel. It is crass, violent, profane, and not meant for the light hearted reader. Imagine living in a world surrounded by fools. For years your frustration grows, and no matter what you try to do you cannot free yourself from the preverbal ideocracy. Nom DePlume is just such a man, only one day he is granted the dearest wish of his heart. Nom, a grad student working as a truck driver is: intelligent, well educated, and the sort of person who always can find a reason to have a chip on his shoulder. One day while driving in Texas he finds that he has the ability to wish death on those he hates. Being scientifically minded, Nom proceeds to experiment searching out the scopes of his new found powers. He begins in Texas, a state he despises. As he moves on from each experiment, he picks his prey to match some facet of modern western life that he hates. Each receive a fate customized to match what Nom feels they did wrong. Nom then travels home to Michigan after initially defining his new role in life. In Michigan he uses his powers to settle a few old scores and family business. A run-in with an old friend convinces him that he is being selfish for not using his god like powers to better mold humanity. The end of the book sees him taking on the leader of the free world. Nom now personifying Death, learns that he has a true foe, Life.Nom will return.
